As mentioned, Miranda Maday hit upload on the video with Raven on July 23. Sharing it on Instagram, Maday captioned the post, “We maxxing, we mogging…cool words Gen Z.” It’s unclear when the video was filmed. In it, Rae is rocking a blonde buzzcut hairstyle, but she’s been growing out her starter locs for the last few months. In the clip, Rae and Miranda are wearing ‘fits matching each other’s fly — Rae in a black-and-white suit and her wife in a white dress with black belt straps. The video shows them briefly changing their poses, including when Miranda gently removed Rae’s hand from resting on her neck.

What’s Raven-Symoné Been Up To?

Recently, Raven-Symoné went viral after revealing that another ‘Cheetah Girls’ movie is under production. She will be returning to her role as Galleria, and so, while Adrienne Bailon-Houghton will be Chanel. Additionally, Sabrina Bryan will also make an appearance in ‘The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen’ film. For now, it doesn’t appear that Kiely Williams will be joining her old crew for the role of Aqua. Following news of the reboot film, Williams’ sister hopped online with harsh words for Raven-Symoné and Adrienne. Both women have not responded to the shade. Instead, they gave fans a taste of their vibe on set.

Daveigh Chases Death Certificate Reveals New Details

Rebecca Luna‘s daughter, Maya Findlay, is addressing the TikTok personality’s death by medical aid following a battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

“Homesick for my mom who will never exist in this lifetime again,” Findlay wrote in a Sunday, July 26, TikTok video.

The clip included a screen recording of a FaceTime call between Findlay and her late mother. Viewers could see Luna conversing with her grandchildren as the song “Sand Drawing” by Judah Earl played in the background.

“I miss my mom in a way that feels like homesickness. Like I just want to go home, but home was her🐞🤍,” Findlay added in the caption.

Daveigh Chase’s death certificate paints new haunting details about the actress’ deteriorating health amid her AIDs battle. While Chase’s immediate cause of death was acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), the certificate exclusively obtained by Us Weekly lists chronic polysubstance use as underlying condition that contributed to her passing. Luna died on Saturday, July 25, at age 49.

“Rebecca passed away July 25th at approximately 1:15 p.m. surrounded by her loved ones,” a post read via TikTok at the time. “Thank you for your support and privacy.”

Prior to her death, Luna was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer’s disease last year.

“I am in the very early stages of a diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer’s. I am 48 years old. It feels really weird and vulnerable to put myself out there right now like this. But since I’ve been exploring this with my neurologist, I realized there’s not a lot of resources out there for young people facing this terrible disease,” she said in an April 2025 TikTok video, adding that she has “been able to connect with a few people” but felt like the disease was “isolating.”

Luna’s condition deteriorated quicker than expected, prompting the influencer to announce her wish to use medical aid in dying (MAID) to end her life. (According to the National Library of Medicine, MAID is a practice in which a physician provides a patient suffering from a terminal illness with a prescription for a lethal drug dose, allowing them a purposeful and peaceful death.)

“Hi, as a lot of you know I was diagnosed at age 48 with Young Onset Alzheimer’s. I’m 49 and I will be accessing MAID as my decline has come faster than I had hoped,” Luna wrote via GoFundMe. “I’ve been a single mama (proudly) all my life so my lovely followers suggested I do a go fund me for the end of life expenses so I don’t leave my loved ones behind with that responsibility [on top] of their own grief. All blessings and well wishes are warmly appreciated and I love you all. I couldn’t have come this far without you.”

Luna shared in her final TikTok video, uploaded on July 22, that she had moved her MAID date to Friday, July 24.

“Prior to the dates changing for the last year and a half has been legally and medically not my choice, OK? But for the last two weeks I’ve been making the decision,” Luna said in the video. “And it’s a hard decision to make, I have to tell you, because I’m living in a body that doesn’t feel comfortable, safe, good, nothing. It feels terrible. And so the idea of waiting two weeks felt like too much.”

Apple TV’s Forgotten 7-Episode True Crime Miniseries Is Too Good To Miss for ‘Mare of Easttown’ Fans

Published

on

The 10 Best Dark and Intense Miniseries to Binge

Mare of Easttown premiered on HBO five years ago, but it is still being lauded as one of the best limited series in recent memory. It won four Emmys (and was nominated for a total of 16), including awards for Kate Winslet and Julianne Nicholson. Their performances (along with stellar turns from Evan Peters and Jean Smart) helped create an intense and realistic portrayal of a town and a family torn apart by the recent murder of a young woman in a suburb of Philadelphia. The series is a thrilling mystery, yet also serves as an honest look at how grief and trauma can have a ripple effect on entire communities.

Apple TV’s Lady in the Lake is similar to Mare of Easttown in that both center around a young woman who is found murdered, although Lady in the Lake is loosely based on real-life events. Each of these deaths sparks a feverish investigation and provides a catalyst for the main characters to reevaluate their lives. Both shows also lean on impressive cinematography and striking imagery to convey the story of individuals who have been heavily impacted by crime and violence. Although Lady in the Lake often uses dream sequences and symbolism to express the journeys of the characters, both dramas have the same dark yet engrossing themes that make for an exciting and fulfilling viewing experience.

Tragic Acts of Violence Are the Focus of ‘Lady in the Lake’

Like Mare of Easttown, Lady in the Lake (which was based on a bestselling novel) picks up with the disappearance and murder of a young girl, this time in 1960s Baltimore. The event has a major effect on Maddie Schwartz (Natalie Portman), who views it as a way to escape her own predictable and stifled life. She decides to leave her husband and teenage son and strike out on her own, earning a position at a local newspaper where she is determined to report on the case. In the process, Maddie becomes obsessed with another murder: that of Cleo Johnson (Moses Ingram), a young Black woman whose body is found at the top of a fountain in the lake (thus earning her the nickname of the ‘Lady in the Lake’). These two unrelated acts of violence serve as a common thread throughout the series. The way the stories of the two victims are told (and the different responses their deaths receive) is a representation of racism and misogyny in society, and the fallout from these crimes creates a sustained tension for the entire series.

Aside from the painful effects of violence, one of the most heart-wrenching themes of both Mare of Easttown and Lady in the Lake is the challenges of motherhood. Just as Mare constantly feels like she’s not living up to her own standards of what a “good” mother should be, the main characters in Lady in the Lake also struggle with these same high expectations. Maddie feels she’s failing her son by not reaching her own potential, while Cleo works tirelessly to provide a better life for her two sons but constantly feels like her efforts are in vain. She’s enmeshed in the criminal underworld because that’s the only place she can get work, and because of her finances and her face, she’s unable to provide the best medical care for her younger son, who has sickle cell disease. Both mothers love their children immensely, but can’t seem to get past the obstacles that the world keeps placing in front of them.

Apple TV’s ‘Lady in the Lake’ Features an Incredible Cast

Just like Mare of Easttown, Lady in the Lake boasts two extremely talented actors in the lead roles. Portman, an Oscar winner for Black Swan, is known for playing intense and determined characters. As Maddie, she conveys a wild passion that often leads to her making poor choices and putting herself in danger. She goes to visit a suspected murderer in jail and starts up an affair with a police officer, but her ambition and her desire to pursue what she wants often blind her to the precariousness of her situation. She’s also fiercely committed to carving out a path for herself, which wasn’t always the norm for women in that time period, and Portman portrays this effectively with a steely focus and drive.

Cleo serves as Maddie’s foil; she has the same perseverance that Maddie does, but life is much harsher towards her, and she never benefits the way Maddie does as a result of her whiteness and her wealth. Ingram, an Emmy nominee for The Queen’s Gambit, depicts Cleo with tragic vulnerability and hopelessness; as hard as Cleo fights for her and her sons’ future, it’s like she already seems to know that her heartbreaking fate is sealed.

It’s not just Portman and Ingram who shine in Lady in the Lake. The series also features several strong supporting characters who help to create a more authentic and realistic world. Maddie’s boyfriend, Ferdie, is played by Y’lan Noel, another character who seems destined for tragedy, even as he tries his best to follow his heart. Noel portrays him with a softness, yet also a quiet strength, which adds heightened emotions to Maddie’s interactions with him. Another standout is Josiah Cross, who plays Reggie Robinson, a right-hand man to Cleo’s boss, Shell Gordon (Wood Harris). Reggie is directly tied to Cleo’s death, so the flashback scenes with him contain an eerie foreshadowing of what his character will be involved in.

Similar to Mare of Easttown, Lady in the Lake was billed as a limited series, but it’s unclear whether more episodes could be in store; HBO has frequently faced the question of whether Mare of Easttown Season 2 will become a reality, but has already confirmed one crossover thanks to Nicholson’s casting in the upcoming return of HBO’s Task. Regardless of whether there are any more episodes to dig into going forward, Lady in the Lake is a captivating series to binge all on its own, thanks to its dark themes and intense performances.

Big Brother: Who Won Power of Veto Week 3 on BB28?

Published

on

Big Brother 28: Jason De Puy

It’s time for theBig Brother veto comp results for Week 3 after HOH Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk nominated Mallory Aurichio, Lyric Medeiros and LaTrice “Lala” Verrett, with a stated target of backdooring Jason de Puy after the veto.

Big Brother 28: Pranks and Pillows

So, Friday night, Drew Campbell pranked Kamu by stripping down to small shorts and put a pillow on his crotch so he looked naked. Then, Drew struck a sexy pose on the HOH bed. He was waiting in the bed.

And when Kamu walked in from the bathroom after his shower, Drew gave a sexy look and said ‘sup – but of course they cut off the feeds. So that scene may be earmarked for an upcoming CBS episode.

Taylor Brown asked Haley Thogmartin a question that’s on everyone’s minds about the veto player draw. Taylor asked how do we know all the names are in there? How do we know, indeed? It’d be nice to see them get to look them over before they shuffle and draw.

Haley said if it was a digital image, she wouldn’t trust it. Back in BB7 All-Stars for a couple of weeks, they had a wheel they’d spin with the names on display. But it had some mechanical issues and houseguests tried to game the spins to choose or avoid certain players.

Big Brother 28: Power of Veto Results & Veto Strategy

So, when Kamu did the draw, he drew Lala’s chip and as a nominee, she got to make a houseguest choice and she chose Jason. And what’s funny is Lala knew Kamu’s plan, knew he wanted to backdoor Jason. And Lala named Jason anyway. I mean he’s a strong competitor.

But what Lala doesn’t know is Jason was trying to pitch Taylor on them evicting Lala this week. Taylor rejected it. Jason in the mix is problematic for Kamu’s plans. But Haley was also chosen which is good for Kamu.

Angela Murray is going to be hosting the comp. Before we get to the comp results, something fun about the Time Capsule power that Rick Devens won. So far, he only told Dee Valladares and they agreed not to tell Angela.

So, Barrett Pfeiffer was telling Devens about the Coup d’Etat from BB11 and how he thought production screwed Chima Simone with it. Two of her noms were taken down and replaced by Jeff Schroeder. That was how Jesse Godderz was evicted.

Chima was ticked, refused to change her mic when told. Then dropped her mic into the pool. And then, Allison Grodner (Executive Producer) had to come on the loudspeaker demanding Chima had to go to the DR.

Production escorted Chima out, ejected her from the game and notified the other houseguests. Funny because Barrett doesn’t like that level of advantage and Devens is sitting there with it, as he nods and listens.

Big Brother 28: POV Winner and Paranoia Takes Over

So now let’s talk about the POV results. We had HOH Kamu playing with noms Lyric, Mallory and Lala. Haley and Jason also played. And little Lyric won it. Rome Seymour would be so proud. You know Lyric’s going to take herself off the block no matter what.

And that means Kamu’s plan to backdoor Jason is wide open. However, Haley and Dee want him to backdoor Drew who they’re blaming for the hinky vote Taylor made for Rome. We’ll know the renom on Monday.

And there’s lots of time for everyone to badger Kamu about who they want on the block to replace Lyric. Things really could change overnight because Dee and Angela want to have a meeting tonight to stir things up.

Dee and Angela think Chuk Anyanwu is being messy with Haley and that Drew’s been doing too much and should be a target. They want to let Kamu know he’s being played by Drew. Angela and Dee are feeding each other’s paranoia like emotional vampires in a frenzy.

Angela and Dee did a little song and dance about how happy they are that they both see these things. And Angela said “we see it and we’re not paranoid either.” That is a total lack of self-awareness. Because paranoia is her fatal game flaw and Dee’s neck deep in it too.

By the way, whatever the veto comp was, Kamu was in a cute little blue ballet dress with a tutu. Very MMA coded. Jason also had a little rant to Lala and Taylor saying Dee’s an idiot, a little slow, and will never win Blockbuster, & she’s already a millionaire so she can go home.

Big Brother 28: Jason De PuyBig Brother 28: Jason De Puy
Big Brother 28: Jason De Puy

Big Brother 28: Crushes, Language and Loose Cannons

Plus, Kamu still seems to be crushing on Taylor. She was hanging out upstairs listening to his HOH music and Kamu’s gone looking for her a few times. Barrett’s about ready to run from the big alliance – maybe. Seems he’s getting tired of the icon side of the house.

He was cam talking and said, “F-ck the Tool Shed” then added the caveat, “unless it’s advantageous for me in which case, I love the Tool Shed,” but that’s not as fun. Also, apparently Barrett speaks Spanish. He dropped some foreign language.

Then, Lala screamed then went to get Dee. But Barrett played dumb until she left then did it again. And Lala finally harassed Barrett into speaking Spanish with Dee. What Barrett said translated was that he’s nervous to speak Spanish in front of Dee.

Big Brother 28: Fake Calls and Tweet of the Day

Melody Morris faked another phone call with her mom saying she’s not funny in the house and needs to amp up the antics. Meanwhile, Drew’s alternating between flirting with Melody and negging her to keep her interest. Full props since a lot of Gen-Z can barely talk to people.

Okay so obviously, Lyric will use the veto on herself at Monday’s veto meeting then if the paranoid duo of Dee and Angela don’t get their way with Kamu, he’ll renom Jason. But a plan’s afoot to evict Lala instead. So, Kamu may not hit his target anyway.

By the way, I looked up Drew on Beast Games Season 1 and he looks like the nerdy sidekick from any Disney tween show. He literally looks 13. And finally, our tweet of the day. So, Mallory for some reason was eating on the floor. Alone. Behind a closed door.

It’s her go-to freak out spot where she’s been doing a lot of raging, crying and plotting. So, BB Nutters tweeted – “Mallory’s just casually eating on the storage room floor for some reason. I have so many questions but honestly at this point, I’m not even surprised.” Me either.

IShowSpeed Reportedly Drops $11M On New Miami HQ

Published

Paul Pogba and Ishowspeed, attacked by hysterical fans in the port of Saint-Tropez had to rush back to their yacht.

IShowSpeed has allegedly turned his internet success into a major business investment with a multimillion-dollar warehouse purchase in South Florida. The property is expected to be converted into a dedicated content creation studio and would add the YouTube star to a growing list of high-profile influencers investing in the Miami area.

Speed’s reported warehouse purchase would be the latest indicator of the rapid growth of a business that now spans major brand partnerships, music, merchandise, and global content creation.

IShowSpeed is reportedly taking his content empire to the next level with a major real estate investment in South Florida.

The 21-year-old YouTube star, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., has supposedly purchased a 26,600-square-foot warehouse near Miami’s West Little River for nearly $11 million. The industrial property is expected to serve as a dedicated content creation studio, a significant expansion of his current production operations, per The Real Deal.

The warehouse sits on a 1.8-acre site and was originally completed in 1969. According to reports, the building has since been transformed with an all-black exterior, including blacked-out windows, giving it a distinctive look suited to large-scale filming and streaming.

The acquisition also reflects South Florida’s growing appeal past traditional business investors, with influencers increasingly establishing long-term bases in the region as their online brands evolve into full-scale media businesses.

Speed’s Viral Fame Has Become A $30 Million Business Empire

Speed’s reported real estate investment comes as the creator’s business continues to generate tens of millions of dollars above traditional livestreaming.

Forbes recently ranked the youngster among the world’s highest-paid content creators, estimating he generated about $30 million in gross earnings over a one-year period through March 2026.

His income now extends well beyond YouTube ad revenue, however. Speed has secured major partnerships with brands including Beats by Dre, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Doritos, and Expedia. The streamer has also been branching into music, live appearances, merchandise, and international travel content.

This growing commercial portfolio has also mirrored the evolution of his content, which has expanded from gaming livestreams into sports, entertainment, and global broadcasts.

How Soccer Helped Turn IShowSpeed Into A Global Star

One of the most pivotal drivers of Speed’s global success has been his passion for soccer. After launching his YouTube channel in 2016 and breaking through with high-energy livestreams, the creator broadened his reach by embracing the popular sport.

Speed’s passion for football helped open new doors, resulting in collaborations with major stars and an increasingly visible role around FIFA events. He reached another milestone during the 2026 World Cup, where he performed his song “World Cup (Champions)” at the closing ceremony after it became part of the competition’s official soundtrack.

The streamer has also established a strong connection with the fanbase of soccer GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo. Speed has, in fact, built part of his online persona around a firm admiration for the Portuguese legend, often traveling across countries for the chance to watch him play.

Speed is far from the only digital creator seemingly putting down roots in South Florida. The city has become increasingly attractive to influencers drawn by the business opportunities, as well as year-round climate and high-profile social scene.

Among the recent arrivals is controversial livestreamer Clavicular, who allegedly rented a penthouse at Paramount Miami Worldcenter this summer after building an audience around “looksmaxxing” content. Investor and social media personality Grant Cardone has also maintained a major presence in the region through his multifamily real estate ventures.

Industry observers have also pointed to neighborhoods such as Brickell as emerging hubs for creators, with influencers increasingly choosing the area as both a place to live and a base for producing content.

Why Top Creators Are Trading Mansions For Warehouses

Dedicated production studios are also becoming an increasingly common investment for the biggest digital creators as their businesses outgrow traditional filming spaces.

YouTube giant MrBeast runs much of his sprawling operation from a dedicated headquarters that houses production teams, offices, and massive custom-built sets, while Dude Perfect recently unveiled an 80,000-square-foot campus complete with filming studios, sports facilities, and joint workspaces to support its growing media business. The common thread is efficiency. Instead of renting locations or juggling scattered teams, creators can film multiple projects and develop new ideas from one location.

Boy George’s Broadway Co-Star Calls Him ‘Terrible’

Boy George's Broadway Co-Star Calls Him 'Terrible'

Theater actor Patrick Clanton is speaking candidly about what he thought about Boy George‘s performance in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical.” In a social media post, the former bluntly stated he was ashamed to have shared the stage with the Culture Club singer. Clanton’s post came amid criticism of Boy George’s recently released pro-Israel song.

Instagram Stories | Patrick Clanton

On July 28, theater performer Patrick Clanton took to Instagram Stories to share his real feelings about Boy George’s Broadway performance.

Clanton shared an article about the singer’s new song, “We Will Dance Again,” which is facing backlash over its pro-Israel message. “You know, I used to defend his performance in our show, but f-ck it,” the actor wrote, adding, “He was a terrible performer and I was embarrassed to be in the show with him. Boy, Bye!”

In another Instagram Stories post, Clanton shared that he always said Boy George was “really nice” whenever he was asked about working with him. “But as Sondheim taught us, ‘Nice is different than good,’” he added, referring to a line Stephen Sondheim wrote in the song “I Know Things Now” from the musical “Into the Woods.”

Boy George Starred In ‘Moulin Rouge! The Musical’ In 2024 And 2025

Boy George, born George Alan O’Dowd, gained fame in the ’80s as the lead singer of Culture Club, popularizing hits such as “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.” He made his Broadway debut in 2003, portraying Leigh Bowery in the musical he co-created, “Taboo.”

Boy George returned to Broadway in 2024 as cabaret host Harold Zidler in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” and again in 2025 for the show’s second run. Clanton, on the other hand, was a principal standby for the characters Zidler and Toulouse-Lautrec, and was also part of the show’s ensemble.

While the singer’s fans enjoyed seeing him on Broadway, Boy George received poor reviews from critics. Lisa Verrico, writing for The Times, said of the singer’s performance: “It was weak at best, often inaudible and occasionally terribly out of tune.”

The Culture Club Singer Released AI-Assisted Song

On July 26, Boy George released an AI-assisted song, “We Will Dance Again,” which he shared on social media platforms, bypassing music streaming platforms. The pop-reggae track sparked backlash online, not for its use of AI technology, but for its pro-Israel lyrics.

The song opens with, “You say genocide, I say war / When you’re attacked, that’s what the army’s for.” He also referenced the start of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, singing that girls were assaulted and killed “for the crime of dancing.”

If it wasn’t clear enough, elsewhere in the song, Boy George sings, “But if you’re ever confused / I stand with the Jews.”

The Singer’s Polarizing Song Divides Listeners

“We Will Dance Again” has proven to be a polarizing release, drawing a sharp divide among listeners. Some shared Boy George’s stance, while others criticized the singer, arguing that he is ignoring the broader humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Many called out Boy George on social media, describing him as “tone deaf,” “tasteless,” and a “genocide apologist.” “You are already dancing over dead children and mass graves,” one person wrote. “If you weren’t an ignorant narcissist you’d feel shame,” another added.

On the other hand, many thanked the singer for spreading his message and commended him for being “brave” despite knowing the massive backlash he would get. “What a Mensch! I can’t stop listening to this. So bloody emotive,” one commented.

Boy George Says His Song Is ‘Pro-Peace’

Boy George has not released a formal statement about his song, but he has replied to some online posts. NME posted an article titled “Boy George shares pro-Israel song ‘We Will Dance Again’,” to which the singer replied, “I call it pro-peace!”

The singer’s stance isn’t surprising, as he has been vocal about his support for Israel. In December 2025, the European Broadcasting Union confirmed that Israel would be allowed to compete in Eurovision. As a result, some countries decided to boycott the event.

In April, Boy George defended his participation in Eurovision, saying, “I have many, many Jewish friends that I’ve had since I was 15 or 16 years old. Are people asking me as a principled human being to turn my back on my Jewish friends? It’s not going to happen, it’s never going to happen.”

General Hospital: Phoebe’s Secret Dad Exposed in Major Port Charles Bombshell!

Published

on

General Hospital: Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) - Phoebe Wilson(Lucia & Luna Creighton) - Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)

General Hospital delivers a brand new romance in Port Charles, but one big question, who is baby Phoebe’s (Lucia & Luna Creighton) real father since Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) is not the daddy?

General Hospital: Christian Howard Joins GH

GH debuted a recast actor, Christian Howard this week. He’s a soap newbie and new Ethan Lovett told Ava Jerome (Maura West) how bad Phoebe’s dad really is. Ethan said this mystery man is really bad news that he’s a very dangerous man and so he wants to keep Phoebe safe from this guy. So, we got to figure out who this viral villain is.

The one hint we have about Phoebe’s father, aside from Ethan telling Ava that he’s a villain, is that he’s got an arrest record. Because if you recall, Ethan snuck into the PCPD evidence room not long ago, disguised himself as a cop, and stole a DNA sample from Phoebe’s biological dad. And then Ethan passed that sample off as his own.

Ethan’s Paternity Test on GH

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) said a paternity test was required to prove Ethan’s the father before he could sign over parental rights to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) so they can adopt little Phoebe. And Ethan also told Ava that he and Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) were just friends. Ethan said that Delilah got in over her head with a really bad guy and Ethan wanted to protect Delilah and her baby from this person.

Now, clearly Phoebe’s dad has been arrested in Port Charles. Otherwise, his DNA sample wouldn’t have been in a local case file. So, we thought about it and we’ve narrowed down a list of Port Charles baddies who might have been the sperm donor in this baby daddy mystery. It’s somebody who’s been arrested in Port Charles and who might be so scary that Delilah was avoiding the man.

General Hospital: Phoebe’s Potential Baby Daddies

First up is Port Charles baby maker and chief mob man Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Not that he needs another kid. But let’s be real. Any woman who gets too close to Sonny for too long has a very high chance of turning up pregnant. I’m sure his DNA is on file at the PCPD. He has been arrested many, many times. I’m actually not too inclined to think it’s Sonny. However, you could say it’s logical that Ethan showed up and then got a job working for Sonny if he was trying to keep an eye on him to protect Delilah from Sonny.

But if he was the father of Delilah’s kid, Ethan could have gotten a DNA sample from Sonny a lot more easily. Ethan could have just stolen Sonny’s toothbrush or his hairbrush or his water bottle rather than breaking into the PCPD, which was high risk. But I didn’t get the vibe that Ethan’s description fits Sonny. But since we’re considering fertile men with felony arrest, you got to put Sonny at the top of the list.

Jason Morgan a Possibility

And while we’re considering local mobsters, we also got to take a look at Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Similar to Sonny, I don’t really see Jason as a monster that Ethan would need to protect Delilah and her kid from. But Jason is baseline dangerous. You know, maybe less so these days, but still mob enforcer, hitman. I do think it would be interesting if Ethan went to work for Sonny to find out more about Jason to assess how big of a threat he might have been to Delilah.

And Jason’s certainly been booked many times by the PCPD, so his DNA is probably in more than one evidence box where Ethan could steal it. I will say it might be fun to see Jason get another kid since he’s finally decided at this late date to be a good dad. I guess better late than never. But I thought it was great when Burton finally came back on the scene and was at General Hospital again and then Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) and Jason took that two-week road trip.

General Hospital: Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) - Phoebe Wilson(Lucia & Luna Creighton) - Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)General Hospital: Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) - Phoebe Wilson(Lucia & Luna Creighton) - Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)
General Hospital: Drew Cain Quartermaine – Phoebe Wilson – Valentin Cassadine

GH Shocker: Is Phoebe a Cassadine?

Another potential baby daddy to consider who’s a baddie is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Now, he’s a good dad, but he’s also an off and on again menace to society. Charlotte adores her papa. But Valentin’s been a really scary dude for most of his life. Even psychotic Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was afraid of him.

So these days, we’ve got a kinder, gentler version of Valentin. But if Ethan was judging off Valentin’s total reputation, then yeah, he seems like somebody that Delilah shouldn’t be around, and she kind of could have gotten tangled up with Valentin while he was on the run or when he was out of Port Charles at some point.

And we know poor Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) is in danger all the time. Because Valentin’s enemies want to use her as leverage. So, Ethan might have wanted to protect baby Phoebe from Valentin. I think it would honestly be adorable to see him with a baby. And Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is always up for raising somebody else’s kid, so she’d be down for it.

General Hospital: More Suspects and a New Arrival

The next person to talk about is Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Like with Valentin, we’re seeing a kinder, gentler Jack these days. But in the past, he’s been quite a monster. He was running Pikeman with Valentin. And if you remember, he was going to zip tie and kidnap Carly. I’m sure that Jack’s DNA is on file at the PCPD because he was arrested and he spent time in Pentonville, although the WSB got him out and then gave him a promotion instead of a punishment. And as far as we know, Brennan has no kids.

But if he turned up with a baby, you know, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would have another reason to want to be with Jack. Because Nina loves kids. But I definitely think that Jack is somebody Delilah would not want to raise her child. And if Ethan has heard a lot about Brennan and other villains while working for Sonny, that’s more strikes against him. So, I could imagine that Ethan has a very dim view on Jack Brennan. But I think again he’s a long shot as the dad.

The Worst Option on General Hospital

Next on the list is absolutely horrible to contemplate. What if Delilah’s baby daddy was diabolical Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison)? He definitely doesn’t need another kid. Because he’s not even doing right by Scout. And a baby is a gift and Drew has done nothing to deserve any kind of gift. But yeah, Ethan would definitely agree that Drew is a creep and that Delilah shouldn’t be around him. And not just because he’s married. Drew’s become a real villain ever since he spent time in Pentonville.

Plus, because of the insider trading arrest, his DNA is also on file at the PCPD. And with Ethan being in Port Charles and getting close to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), I’m sure Ethan’s heard all about Drew and would definitely want to keep baby Phoebe away from the guy. And once Ethan finds out Drew is walking and talking again, he may double down on hiding Phoebe’s true paternity.

GH Newbie Could be Phoebe’s Daddy

Another one to consider is somebody not currently on the character canvas. But who arrives this week. There’s this new guy coming named Hudson. He’s a businessman played by actor Troy Appel. He debuts on July 30th. We have heard that Hudson is some sort of villain, a shady no good dude. So, he would definitely be a possibility as Delilah’s baby daddy. And we don’t know much of anything about this mystery man. So, he could be super bad.

He could have also been in Port Charles before and might have been arrested there in the past and that’s why his DNA might have been in a case file. I am wondering if he is connected to Sidwell or Cullum. If so, that would make Hudson a real bad guy, and Ethan wanted to help Sonny take Sidwell down when he first came back to town. So, if this guy Hudson worked for Sidwell and his Phoebe’s father, then Ethan might have targeted Sidwell, hoping to take Hudson down, too.

Someone Brand-New on General Hospital

And last, of course, there’s the chance that Phoebe’s scary father could be some criminal we’ve never heard of. Somebody brand new coming to the character canvas, not necessarily Hudson, or it could be a blast from the past, somebody like say Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). So, we’ll see who it is. And I hope that the juice is worth the squeeze and the identity of Phoebe’s dad is something really truly shocking.

Big Brother Spoilers Week 3: HOH Victor Named, New Nominees + Shock Power Twist

Published

on

Big Brother: Mallory Aurichio

HeyBig Brother fans, we’ve got your latest updates on who won HOH and who’s on the block as the first three nominees in Week 3 and who won the BB Time Capsule this week. And we’ll talk about the major rule that Dee Valladares is breaking and whether there will be any consequences, because there should be.

We’ve got some wild stuff from the live feeds, your comp results and what happened when Angela Murray got to come out of her shell at last.

Big Brother: HOH Results

Let’s start with the egg then the HOH winner. Thursday night, after Rome Seymour was evicted but before the HOH comp, Big Brother surprised Angela and let her out of her Egg Detective costume.

The houseguests shouted “kill the egg” and took turns kicking the awful egg suit once she crawled out. Haley Thogmartin wrestled it off to the storage room to give back to production and Angela was oh so happy.

Also, when the live feeds were up pre-HOH, people were debating who was the sole vote to evict Melody Morris. Most everyone believed Lyric Medeiros when she said it wasn’t her. And people seemed to mostly suspect it was Jason de Puy.

But overall, there’s been no witch hunt over it. Now, the HOH comp results. The live feeds were up for a couple of hours after the East coast episode with everyone just sitting around. Then the feeds went down for a couple of hours for the comp.

And when they came back, Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk won the Week 3 HOH competition. Jesse Godderz, aka Mr. Pectacular, hosted the Wrestling-themed comp. I wondered if we’d see Jesse. Mallory Aurichio was excited about him.

Big Brother 28: Week 3 Nominations and Rule Breaking

After the comp, Kamu got his HOH room and plotting commenced. Also, two production things. First, given the time travel theme, what do you all think? Feels inevitable that we get a battle back or a rewind week – maybe both.

Since Ashley Trail was sent home, it won’t be one of those big battle backs. But maybe a jury battle back type event. The other production thing is that Big Brother should issue a houseguest penalty. This is about Dee cheating the rules.

The Have Nots for the week are LaTrice “Lala” Verrett, Melody, Mallory, Dee and Yash Patel. Which means the plywood torture bed of doom, cold showers and only slop to eat. But either Dee doesn’t care about the rules or didn’t think about it.

Because she was eating Kamu’s HOH snacks. Definite rule breaking. If Dee was on the block, production could hit her with a penalty vote which is an automatic vote to evict against you. If not on the block, production could and should extend Dee’s Have Not status by a week.

Who Needs Rules on BB28?

In the UK version, they sometimes do a penalty nomination for Have Not rule breaking. But since Dee’s a highly paid recruit, I wonder if they’ll let her get away with eating Kamu’s snacks.

I remember BB19 very distinctively that Kevin Schlehuber would shove food down his pants and then sneak into the bathroom to eat. Pretty gross. He wasn’t caught by Big Brother and confessed to it after his season on a podcast.

Also, Jackson Michie snuck food into the shower to eat while a Have Not. Production saw and didn’t give him a penalty and he went on to win BB21. I think they should punish Dee with a Have Not extension but I’d be shocked if they did anything about it.

Big Brother 28: Diamond Power of Veto and Strategic Gameplay

Kamu was initially considering nominating Jason, Lala and Mallory with Jason as his target. Kamu said he wants to come straight at his target but was talked out of it because Jason does well in comps even when he doesn’t win, he’s often a close second.

Meanwhile, Jason told Melody that he’s going to work on Kamu to take out Rick Devens. Jason’s unobservant but Melody’s not and said it wouldn’t work. Jason gave it a try and got nowhere.

Also, Kamu got Mallory to admit she’d target Dee and Devens during their one-on-one. Kamu got some good info in his one-on-ones but also gave out more info than he likely should have. One thing was he told Lala she’s annoying the houseguests nagging about housekeeping stuff.

So, Kamu advised she just stop cooking and cleaning and Lala agreed. Lyric’s back to lying to Chuk Anyanwu saying even though Rome made that big love declaration, she doesn’t feel that way about him and Lyric said with Rome in the house, it made her game difficult.

Big Brother: Kamu Doubles Down

It also came out last night after Drew Campbell saw a photo of Kamu’s brother in his HOH room that Drew and the brother both played on Season 1 of Beast Games. But since it started with 2,000 players, they were too of many and both of them apparently went out early.

Kamu blew up Mallory when he told Melody that she’d suggested he target her. Kamu came around to the idea of backdooring Jason and nominating three girls with a promise to save Lyric with the power of veto. So, what I hear is Kamu’s doing what Devens did.

And despite Angela trying to shield her, Kamu said he’d put up Mallory and that if he couldn’t get Jason onto the block or he won BB Blockbuster, Mallory would be Kamu’s back-up target. Dee, Angela and Haley were pushing Kamu to put up Taylor Brown next to Lala.

Anyway, Kamu shut that down but did it pretty politely because it sure looks like he’s crushing on Taylor but he played it off as leaving her as a target for Haley since she wants to take that shot.

Big Brother 28: Reward Rehash

Kamu screwed up and mentioned the Tool Shed in front of Yash. Angela told Dee she feels like Taylor gives her dirty looks behind her back. This is top tier Angela paranoia gameplay. She doesn’t know it, hasn’t seen it. No one else has seen Taylor do it.

But Angela’s gaslit herself then told Dee who immediately bought it. Sticking to the order of events, now let’s talk about the BB Time Capsule winner. I fully expected this and yes, Devens won the shot to play for punishment or reward.

So far, he’s only told Dee but that may expand. But Devens revealed he’d won a diamond power of veto. Everyone cycled through the Diary Room to find out if they’d won and since no one came out in a punishment suit, they have to know someone’s sitting on a reward.

And Big Brother gave Devens a really good one. The diamond power of veto, if you don’t recall, it was used in BB4 and BB12. It’s good for the next six weeks and is played right after the usual weekly power of veto.

When Devens plays it, he takes someone off the block and names the replacement, bypassing the HOH. So, this can really screw over someone from the other side. And this could keep Devens safe until jury.

Big Brother: Pain in the Butt?

Before we talk about the official nominations, a couple of things. If you’re a fan of BB27‘s Keanu Soto (BB27), he’s playing on The Challenge Season 42: Cutthroat. It starts August 5th. And this one’s twisted because it’s not an individual winner.

Instead, one of the three teams will win. And on the team that wins, that team captain gets to decide how to split the money. They can keep it all for themselves or split it up however they want.

Also, in a weird feeds moment, Mallory said, “It’s gonna be weird to get home and shave my butthole because I haven’t been doing that here.” I’m sure the other houseguests would appreciate not standing in her anal whiskers in the shower drain.

Big Brother 28: Week 3 Official Nominations

Okay now to the nominations – although Kamu warned them they’d be nominated, there was still some tears and anger. Kamu officially made his first three nominations – Mallory, Lyric and Lala. But he reassured them none were his targets. Jason’s still his backdoor plan.

Emma Roberts’ Real Reason For Not Inviting Dad To Wedding

Published

Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts and Gabrielle Sidibe are seen on the set of American horror story Penthouse

Emma Roberts‘ family tension is back in the spotlight with fresh details about the rift that led to the wedding exclusion.

The actress’s decision to keep her dad, Eric Roberts, away from the intimate ceremony has reignited interest in a relationship that has long been marked by public ups and downs.

Emma Roberts married fellow actor Cody John in an intimate Idaho ceremony on July 25 after nearly three years together. The couple first sparked romance rumors in 2022 before making their relationship Instagram official later that year, and John proposed in July 2024

It seems like Emma’s wedding guest list reflected her wishes, with those closest to the actress reportedly respecting her decision every step of the way. Rather than questioning her choice, friends understood the history behind her relationship with her father and chose not to interfere.

Sources said no one encouraged Emma to invite Eric because they knew the subject would only reopen old wounds. In the insider’s words, “No one told her to invite him to the wedding; they know better than to bring that up.”

Even after learning he would not be part of the celebration, the actor publicly expressed support for his daughter’s special day, saying she should celebrate however she wanted and with whomever she chose.

For Emma, the intimate Idaho ceremony was about beginning a new chapter with Cody John, and those around her reportedly believed that honoring her boundaries was more important than trying to repair a relationship she was not ready to revisit.

The distance between Emma and her father reportedly stretches back far beyond her wedding day. According to The Daily Mail, sources claimed Eric was largely absent throughout much of her childhood.

They also claimed that, “She has been mad at him for many years, mostly because she feels he has not been a supportive father. He wasn’t around when she was young.”

At the same time, her mother, Kelly Cunningham, took on the responsibility of raising her and supporting her early acting ambitions. As Emma’s Hollywood career took off, insiders alleged the family dynamic became even more complicated.

The report claimed that Eric struggled as his daughter’s profile continued to rise, with sources suggesting he became increasingly competitive as her success eclipsed his own. They also noted that Emma’s close relationship with her mother only grew stronger during those years.

Although Eric has since acknowledged mistakes from the past and expressed regret over his role as a parent, the report suggested the years of hurt have proven difficult to overcome. Sources claimed the father and daughter have remained distant for more than a decade, with little indication that the fractured relationship has fully healed.

Emma Roberts Has Always Guarded Her Private Life

Emma has always been more inclined to keep her personal life out of the eyes of the public, so it comes as no surprise that her intimate wedding in Idaho is just as out of the spotlight.

The actress didn’t make her wedding into a public event, keeping her private life as she has always done, with family and close friends by her side as she celebrated her marriage to Cody John.

The “Scream Queens” star has previously explained that discussing her relationships publicly has never been something she enjoys. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Emma admitted she avoids talking about romances, whether they are beginning or ending, because navigating them is already difficult without the added attention of public scrutiny.

Emma’s mindset has influenced many aspects of her relationship with Cody. The actress has always preferred not to be in the public eye, and her wedding was no exception; she has kept many major life events so private that they are only revealed once she is ready to share.

Much before Emma Roberts’ wedding, Eric had already been honest about his awkward relationship with his daughter, saying that he was not “the right man” for her as a father when she was growing up.

The actor admitted that his drug addiction issues had an impact on his parenting skills, saying he was “a wash rag” and “a car wreck.” The Blast reported that despite those admissions, Eric has consistently expressed admiration for Emma’s accomplishments and rejected the idea that their relationship can be summed up as simply “complicated.”

He argued that outsiders only see fragments of their story and do not fully understand the reality of their bond. While the father and daughter have been distant, Eric has made no secret of his pride in Emma’s career, and has expressed his admiration for her in public as well.

Emma Roberts Embraced Her Wedding Day Her Own Way

Emma’s wedding reflected the same sense of individuality that has defined much of her personal style, from her intimate ceremony to the fashion choices that followed. Rather than sticking to tradition, the actress embraced a celebration that balanced timeless elegance with unexpected touches.

After exchanging vows in a vintage-inspired Monique Lhuillier gown, Emma changed into a striking black lace after-party ensemble, explaining that she wanted to surprise her guests with something “a little unexpected.”

It was reported that the private Idaho ceremony itself mirrored the couple’s preference for keeping their relationship away from the spotlight, with only close friends and family in attendance. From the secluded venue to the unconventional wardrobe change, every detail reflected the couple’s desire to celebrate on their own terms.

Will Emma Roberts continue embracing the unexpected as she begins this new chapter of married life?
