Shawn Hatosy Teases The Pitt Season 3 Ahead of Filming

Shawn Hatosy Reveals When ‘The Pitt’ Season 3 Starts Filming, Shares Major Premiere Teaser

Shawn Hatosy can confirm that production on The Pitt season 3 is nearly underway.

“We’re gonna start filming next week,” Hatosy, 50, said during his Thursday, June 11, appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I can say that people will be surprised how we begin. That’s about all I can say.”

Hatosy made his debut as Dr. Jack Abbot in the opening shot of The Pitt’s first season, which premiered on HBO in January 2025.

“I’m a guest star in the first episode and I had no clue [it would blow up],” Hatosy said on Thursday. “I show up for two minutes and then I, kind of, disappear.”

Hatosy’s return later on in the season turned him into a breakout star as fans became obsessed with his dry humor and the way he flirts with everyone in the emergency department (literally). The role secured Hatosy a 2025 Emmy Award win for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.

“It’s very unexpected but very cool. People on the internet say I’m cool,” Hatosy told host Jimmy Fallon. “My kids still think I’m a dork though, no matter what.”

Hatosy shares three sons — Jordan, 19, Leo, 13, and Finn, 8 — with wife Kelly Albanese, whom he’s been married to since 2010.

Aside from his acting on The Pitt, Hatosy also got a chance to direct the ninth episode of the show’s second season. The actor told Fallon, 51, on Thursday that he’ll be pulling double duty once again.

“I found out I’m gonna be directing in season 3,” Hatosy gushed. “Very cool.”

Hatosy confirmed to Us Weekly exclusively late last month that he would be returning for The Pitt season 3 despite several cast exits.

“We start in a couple weeks and I haven’t even read the episode,” he said during an interview on May 31. “It hasn’t been sent, but I know that I’m going back.”

He quipped, “That place wouldn’t function that night without Abbot.”

Speaking of the night shift, Us would be remiss not to ask about the potential spinoff series that fans are foaming at the mouth for.

“I think it’s a no-brainer. Obviously, I don’t want to dilute or take anything away from what’s happening on The Pitt, but you know that there are wonderful characters,” Hatosy told Us. “There’s a whole other universe in the night. There’s a tone shift.”

Some Social Media Users Think So

Some social media users slid in TSR’s comment section, noting that they felt Jayda Cheaves’s post may have been subliminally directed at Ari Fletcher.

8 TV Sitcom Endings That Are Genuine Masterpieces

Published

on

Will and Hilary in 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' series finale.

Any beloved sitcom is defined by various elements: strong characters, relatable dialogue, and consistent humor. But ending such a show within this genre takes something greater. It can be a challenge to translate situational comedy into a memorable conclusion. It’s meant to wrap up a series that, traditionally, runs for many seasons while providing fan service to viewers who have remained loyal all these years.

Although some sitcoms fail to deliver, countless others have earned legacy status for doing just that. Whether marked by more profound emotional sentiment (The Good Place) or by nostalgia through callbacks to earlier seasons (New Girl), these sitcoms did just that. From Parks and Recreation to The Mary Tyler Moore Show, these sitcom endings can truly be considered masterpieces.

Will’s (Will Smith) life may have turned upside down, but by the end of the series, he’s proven to find his place in this once-confusing and foreign world of Bel-Air. While the Banks family prepares to move to the East Coast, Will stays behind to finish college. Will is perhaps one of the greatest examples of character development, infusing deeper themes with the show’s signature humor.

Many sitcoms have done it before. The empty home at the end of a series. It’s a plot device used to signify change. But there is something about The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that makes this that much more emotional. The Banks’ Bel-Air mansion served as a character itself, a foil to Will’s upbringing in Philadelphia. So, as his cousin’s family prepares to leave for good, he — and the home — must move on, too.

‘The Good Place’ (2016–2020)

Season 4, Episodes 13 and 14 “Whenever You’re Ready”

Each character received an ending appropriate for them; a welcome change from Season 1, as Eleanor (Kristen Bell), Chidi (William Jackson Harper), Tahani (Jameela Jamil), and Jason (Manny Jacinto) endure a realm intended to do just the opposite. The Good Place placed these recently deceased characters in an illusion of heaven, or, as the series refers to it, “The Good Place.” While the realization that they were not actually there — presenting one of the greatest TV plot twists of all time — the finale rectifies this.

The fantasy series was applauded for its innovative depiction of the afterlife. That is, the great question of what happens when we die. And with the title “Whenever You’re Ready,” it’s apparent that this episode would provide a reckoning of sorts. The final moments of existence before their souls depart into some unknown place beyond their metaphysical beings. While The Good Place explored life and death through various theological and philosophical lenses, their moving on through a final door resembled the Buddhist concept of nirvana. It’s a dramatic exploration of humanity infused with consistently clever humor.

‘New Girl’ (2011–2018)

Season 7, Episode 8 “Engram Pattersky”

Yes, everyone must leave due to an unexpected eviction notice (that turns out to be fake). But perhaps it’s time for a change. “Engram Pattersky” takes audiences into the near future as they enter the next stage of adulthood — with families of their own. But it also serves fans as they box up their apartment and prepare to leave for the final time, with a montage of their best moments throughout the series. One final game of True American. Boxing up not just possessions, but memories associated with them. And longstanding secrets are revealed — ahem, Winston (Lamorne Morris).

New Girl begins when Jess (Zooey Deschanel) is desperate to find somewhere to live, ending up in a loft with three guys and a lot of chaos. Over time, the roommates create strong bonds and even form relationships, as is standard for shows about friend groups in their 20s and 30s. With that, these shows present a harsh truth: all things must come to an end as they eventually enter the next stage of their lives.

‘Cheers’ (1982–1993)

Season 11, Episodes 26, 27, and 28 “One for the Road”

Will Sam (Ted Danson) choose his former love or the bar? One of Sam’s greatest quotes appears in this episode as he tells a potential patron, “Sorry, we’re closed.” This simple line says so much for Sam and the show itself. While Sam ultimately decides to keep the bar, it signifies a change in his relationship to it. It reveals truths about his motivation; this is his home, rather than his connection with Diane (Shelley Long).

Cheers was consistently praised for its ensemble of characters that worked so well together. Naturally, the same could be said for its finale. “One for the Road” garnered 80.4 million viewers across the United States, a record second only to M*A*S*H a few years prior. A major draw was the emotional return of Diane, who departed the series in Season 5 despite being the main character until then. Cheers‘ finale can be summed up in one word: closure.

‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ (1970–1977)

Season 7, Episode 24 “The Last Show”

“The Last Show” is considered to be one of the greatest TV episodes of all time, and for good reason. The Mary Tyler Moore Show ended on a bittersweet note after seven seasons of laughs and harsh truths. But by Season 7, it’s now the late 1970s, and times have changed. For the team at WJM-TV, this meant mass layoffs due to a takeover, leaving each character’s fate uncertain. Perhaps one of the most memorable moments of the episode comes at the end, when the colleagues embrace in a group hug, symbolizing how strong their bonds are and how much they resemble a family.

Fans spent seven years following the titular Mary Tyler Moore, who, against the period’s preconceptions, portrayed a single working woman in her 30s. She favored a career and dated around rather than forming a nuclear family. This in itself earned the series legacy status. In many ways, The Mary Tyler Moore Show also helped launch and inspire future sitcoms. This makes the finale — aptly titled “The Last Show” all the more relevant. The Mary Tyler Moore Show was truly one of a kind, not just within the sitcom genre, but TV as a whole.

‘Parks and Recreation’ (2009–2015)

Season 7, Episodes 12 and 13 “One Last Ride”

Parks and Recreation offered a two-part season finale to say goodbye to our favorite employees of the Pawnee Parks Department. Each character receives a satisfying ending that highlights their personal arcs. Leslie (Amy Poehler) is now Indiana’s Governor. April (Aubrey Plaza) and Andy (Chris Pratt) start a family. Tom (Aziz Ansari) is not just a novelist but also a coach who draws on his own failures. And so much more. While everyone ultimately parts ways, these lowly government workers remain a family.

That makes it all the more emotional when it comes to saying goodbye. Sitcoms often include flash-forwards in their finales. That is, taking viewers into the future to see where each character ends up. Another thing that sitcoms do is clever callbacks to earlier storylines, often as a source of nostalgia. Amongst saying goodbye, Parks and Recreation employs these devices to create a memorable and beloved series finale.

‘M*A*S*H’ (1972–1983)

Season 11, Episode 16 “Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen”

Hawkeye (Alan Alda) and his team at the 4077th M*A*S*H unit delivered witty quips and foolish scenarios that drew in a strong fanbase. However, M*A*S*H was still a show that took on heavy topics such as war, politics, and trauma. “Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen” was a reminder of that as the series concluded in a masterpiece of a finale. It’s notably marked by the unit preparing to leave, and Hawkeye’s apparent breakdown as a result. M*A*S*H is a show about the Korean War that aired during the Vietnam War.

These sentiments are reflected in the way M*A*S*H portrays combat and everyone involved, as well as in the everyday impact of combat on both American soldiers stationed there and locals. The show never drifted from what makes it so beloved — wit and dark humor — even until the end. Additionally, the finale includes the now-iconic final scene with “Goodbye” written out in stone as the helicopters fly above. And, in a longstanding feat of excellence for the series, 105.9 million viewers tuned in to watch the finale live, breaking the record for most-watched TV series finale of all time.

‘Schitt’s Creek’ (2015–2020)

Season 6, Episode 14 “Happy Ending”

Schitt’s Creek‘s eventual conclusion solidified how the Rose family integrated into a town they would otherwise never have encountered, had it not been for circumstances. However, their time there is over — apart from David (Dan Levy), who remains with his husband — as they venture out into the world as changed people. Alexis (Annie Murphy) chooses her own path rather than a man, leaving for NYC to work. Meanwhile, Johnny (Eugene Levy) and Moira (Catherine O’Hara) decide to venture back into the entertainment and business world, but on new terms.

“Happy Ending” is one of the greatest finales for a beloved cult classic show. Schitt’s Creek ultimately showed the Rose family’s archetypal journey from “rags-to-riches” (or rather, riches to rags-to-riches in other forms). And for that reason, each member of the Roses discovers that what they desired was not money or status, but rather the bond that they were missing in seeking out those trivial things. Now it’s time for them to take these lessons into the world beyond the little rural town.

The claims of Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande‘s amicable separation appear to have some merit, with the actor looking nothing like a heartbroken man.

Slater recently stepped out for some theater fun, marking his first public appearance since news of his breakup surfaced. A source confirmed the end of his romance with Grande on June 8.

Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande appear to be doing fine separately, with the singer focused on her first tour in seven years.

Slater returned to the spotlight on Thursday, June 11, stepping out to attend Shakespeare in the Park’s production of “Romeo & Juliet.” The event took place at The Delacorte Theater in New York City’s Central Park, with the paparazzi capturing the celebrities in attendance.

For the big day, Slater opted for a casual fit, looking radiant in a white t-shirt, black trousers, and white sneakers. He accessorized with a silver chain, offering bright smiles for the flashing cameras while posing for pictures.

A video shared by TMZ highlighted the moment, showing Slater posing with his hands in his trouser pockets or holding them in front of him. He appeared solo and did not seem bothered by the end of his romance with Grande.

Slater’s composed appearance in New York City might stem from the alleged way he separated from Grande. The Blast covered the story, reporting that a source had confirmed the end of Slater and Grande’s romance after nearly three years together.

The exact date of their separation wasn’t given, as the source claimed Slater and Grande “have been quietly broken up for several months.” Although they decided to end their relationship, the source stressed that they did so amicably and not on bad terms.

“They are still friends and very supportive of one another,” the source continued. They added that Grande wasn’t affected by the end of her romance, claiming she was “doing great” and focused on her Eternal Sunshine tour, which kicked off on June 6.

The former couple reportedly met on the set of the musical, “Wicked,” where Grande played Glinda, the good witch, while Slater played Boq. They sparked dating rumors in July 2023 and kept fans guessing until they went Instagram official in November 2024.

That same year, Grande raved about her love for Slater in an interview, describing him as an “amazing person.” She appeared head over heels for Slater, calling him “adorable” while raving about his performance in the musical.

“I’m so happy people are getting to know him. My heart is very happy,” Grande added. She wasn’t alone in her feelings, with Slater declaring that his then-girlfriend’s performance in “Wicked: For Good” was “out of this world.”

Months before Grande and Slater’s breakup became public, they had sparked separation rumors. The Blast reported in December 2025 that Grande had honored her late ex, Mac Miller, during an appearance at Chapman University.

She credited him for improving her style of music, recalling how Miller had urged her to explore the R&B side of Pop and learn to combine them. Grande spoke about the late singer with gratitude, noting his support inspired her to work with him.

The duo teamed up for Grande’s 2013 hit song, “The Way,” and they also worked together on the 2016 remix of Grande’s “Into You” as well as Miller’s 2016 track, “My Favorite Part.” Miller took his final breath on September 7, 2018, following an accidental overdose.

Ariana Grande’s Dating History

Before Slater and Miller, Grande made waves for dating other men in the entertainment industry. According to Page Six, her dating history began when she fell for “Riverdale” actor Graham Phillips in 2008. However, their young love ended in 2011.

Nearly a year after their split, Grande found love again with MTV star Jai Brooks. They began dating in August 2012, and things seemed rosy between them until Brooks accused Grande of cheating on him in 2013, which she denied.

That same year, Grande dated English singer Nathan Sykes, but they reportedly split four months later. Next came rapper Big Sean in 2014, a relationship that ended nearly nine months after they shocked fans with their romance. Grande’s exes also include Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson, and her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez.

Taylor Swift Knicks Controversy Ends With Apology

Published

on

Taylor Swift Knicks Controversy Ends With Apology

Taylor Swifts return to Madison Square Garden should have been remembered solely for an unforgettable Knicks comeback.

Instead, the singer found herself at the center of another online debate after ESPN analyst Monica McNutt questioned her loyalty to the team.

The comments quickly spread across social media, prompting Swift fans to dig into the singer’s long history with the franchise and eventually leading McNutt to publicly walk back her remarks.

The controversy began before the New York Knicks staged one of the most dramatic comebacks in NBA Finals history.

Swift was sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden, wearing custom Knicks-themed attire and enjoying the atmosphere as fans packed the arena. During a broadcast segment, fellow analyst Tyler Murray mentioned that he wanted to snap a photo of the pop superstar for his wife.

That prompted Monica McNutt to question Swift’s connection to the team, reportedly stating that the singer was not a Knicks fan and suggesting she leave Madison Square Garden.

The comments immediately gained traction online, with Swift’s supporters pushing back and sharing evidence of the singer’s long-standing ties to the franchise.

As the criticism grew, McNutt addressed the situation and acknowledged that she had gotten it wrong.

Monica McNutt Addresses The Backlash

Responding to the uproar, McNutt offered a lengthy explanation while admitting she had overlooked important details about Swift’s basketball history.

“Swifties, I appreciate your passion,” McNutt said with a smirk while chatting with TMZ Sports.

She continued, “I said what I said, and here’s the deal: If I’m wrong, I am wrong, apparently, because she’s got an OG Amar’e Stoudemire jersey. I misspoke. I did not know. But here’s the deal, context, I literally just did a piece on celebrity row. I’ve been with this organization for five years. I know these folks… We just saw her in Cleveland with her fiancé [Travis Kelce]. Obviously, Travis supports the Cavs. She didn’t have any Knicks paraphernalia, so I did not know of her Knicks loyalty. But shoutout, T-Swift. We can be united in orange and blue, like, it’s fine.”

After learning more about Swift’s connection to the team, McNutt acknowledged that the evidence stretched back years.

“There are pictures of the Amar’e Stoudemire era, that’s where the origin story is,” McNutt continued. “Shout out to her because that means she’s been in the trenches. I had just not seen her.”

Despite the social media reaction, McNutt insisted the controversy felt much larger online than it did inside the arena.

“Nobody cared about this at all,” McNutt said. “I know it was a big deal on the internet, but I was too busy enjoying the actual game.”

Taylor Swift’s Long History With The Knicks

While some casual observers may have questioned Swift’s loyalty, longtime followers quickly pointed to a history that dates back more than a decade.

The singer has deep ties to New York and Madison Square Garden. She has performed at the venue multiple times, with her earliest appearance coming during a Kids Talent Competition when she was just a young teenager.

Swift’s connection to the Knicks became more visible in 2014. Around the release of her album “1989,” she attended Knicks games at Madison Square Garden and was photographed courtside on several occasions.

She was also seen wearing a No. 13 Knicks jersey alongside Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire. According to past interviews, Stoudemire played a major role in introducing her to the team after they became friends through social circles in New York.

Fans also resurfaced photos from Knicks practices, including a memorable moment when Stoudemire helped lift Swift toward the basket for a dunk attempt.

Those images quickly circulated again once McNutt’s comments went viral.

Another Taylor Swift Sports Debate Resurfaces

The Knicks controversy arrived only weeks after Swift became part of another sports-related discussion.

In May, she attended the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland alongside fiancé Travis Kelce. Some New York supporters questioned why she was cheering from the Cavaliers’ home arena.

Kelce later dismissed any suggestion that he was trying to convert her allegiance, explaining it was simply a “fun date night” rather than an effort to “persuade Taylor into being a Cleveland sports fan.”

That game generated another online dispute when broadcasters acknowledged the couple on the Jumbotron without initially referring to Swift by name.

Mike Breen told viewers, “Travis Kelce and his fiancée, here at the game.”

Richard Jefferson followed with, “Travis and his girlfriend are in the building; that’s always great to see.”

Many Swift fans objected to the descriptions, arguing that one of the world’s biggest stars should not have been introduced only through her relationship.

A Night That Ended With A Different Headline

Although the online debate briefly overshadowed Travis Swift’s appearance, neither she nor Travis Kelce publicly responded to the criticism or Monica McNutt’s subsequent apology.

Instead, the singer appeared focused on enjoying the game and spending time with friends, including Este and Alana Haim, who joined her for the evening.

Swift even leaned into the New York theme with a custom “Stevie Knicks” shirt, a nod to longtime friend Stevie Nicks. Her companions also joined the fun with Knicks-inspired outfits.

In the end, the controversy faded as attention shifted back to the court. The Knicks’ remarkable comeback and OG Anunoby’s late heroics became the lasting story of the night.

Still, for a few hours, a debate over Taylor Swift’s basketball loyalty proved once again that almost anything involving the singer can become a headline.

Young and Restless Next Week: Diane Taken CAPTIVE in Shocking Twist – Abby Suffers Brutal Injury!

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) - Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)

Young and the Restless hot spoilers for next week include the reveal of where Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) is and has been because it looks like she was definitely kidnapped. Plus, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is brutally injured while out of town. She’s literally squashed during a tornado.

There’s a lot to unpack in these brand new spoilers for the week of June 15th, including a big return of a fan favorite. A new character is on the scene that is tied to Diane. And there’s two medical crises affecting two different Newman ladies. So, let’s get right into it.

Y&R: Mariah’s Return and Jill Abbott Recast

So, as we wind up this week on Young and the Restless, we have a very excited Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) talking to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). She’s on a call from the psych hospital. And it looks like her recovery is going well. And if you remember, the last person who visited Mariah was actually a very angry Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James). But now, Sharon is telling Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that Mariah could be released and could actually be back to Genoa City next week. So, yay on that return. and we will let you know when we have an air date for Cameron Grimes first appearance back on the scene as Mariah.

But that’s just one return. The other is a recast. We’ll talk about it in a second. So, right now, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) handed Chancellor over to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) as promised as payment for her and the twins faked kidnapping. When she told Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that she has Chancellor, well, he was excited. And of course, Billy immediately wanted to buy it from Lily. But she refused. And then when she said she appointed Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to run it, that’s when Billy lost it. He is furious that Lily is trusting Cane more than she trusts him.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Lauren Koslow Temporarily Takes Over

And this ties into the big return that’s also a recast. So, there’s a Young and the Restless spoiler saying that there’s a surprising turn of events and that results in Billy getting some powerful information and then Cane and Lily work together to stop Billy from going after something he wants.

And we know what he wants. Generally, it’s about Chancellor. So, that may be tied into the return, which is Jill Abbott, who is coming back to Genoa City soon. But actress Jess Walton was unavailable to film. So instead, they brought in Days of Our Lives actress Lauren Koslow. So she stepped into the role. She first appears on June 25th, which is the same day that July Sweeps kicks off. She’ll be on as Jill for just five episodes. And I’m real curious to see what she thinks about Lily and Cane running Chancellor and Lily and Cane smooching and reconciling.

Y&R: Lily and Cane Heat Up at Crimson Lights

And next week in official Y&R spoilers, we’re going to get more of Lily getting much much closer to Cane. Things are sizzling between them. So Cane’s with Lily at Crimson Lights and things get really flirty between them and Cane’s telling her that they’re going to do great things together. Then he asked Lily to come closer so he can tell her something and it looks like he is smooching her across the table at the coffee shop.

Young and Restless: Nikki’s Health Crisis and Diane’s Disappearance

All right. Now, let’s talk about one of the two medical crises for a Newman lady. And then we’ll get into missing Diane. So, after bickering with Victor Newman about him giving Chancellor to Lily, we’re going to see Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) getting another of her really bad headaches on Friday. And she’s not going to give Victor much info when he starts asking about her health.

And then next week, Young and the Restless spoilers say things get a lot worse when Nikki’s vision seems to be deteriorating. So, her vision’s going. Clearly, there’s something going on with the blood vessels in her brain, which lead to the blood vessels in your eyes. So, this may be tied to her MS. But it’s not the MS itself because actress Melody Thomas Scott said this is a new thing. She says she’s never played somebody with this medical issue. And it’s going to get scary very fast for Nikki.

She’s going to have to make some big decisions fast about her medical condition while continuing to hide things from Victor because it looks like Nikki doesn’t want Victor coming back to her just because she’s sick.

All right, now let’s talk about Diane in Genoa City Time. She is still missing and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are worried sick. But over on Beyond the Gates on the crossover, Diane is at a fundraiser with Jack and Kyle. They are all together, all smiles, all happy as a family. This was very poorly coordinated between Young and the Restless and Beyond the Gates because things are out of alignment.

Y&R: Jack Confronts Patty About Diane

So, next week we’ve got big action with both Jack and Diane back in Genoa City. We’re going to see Jack who’s with his sister Tracy and they run into Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) at The Overlook Cafe. And when she sees Jack, we’ve got Patty saying that he looks really tired. Well, part of that’s because he just went through this whole tornado ordeal on another soap.

So, Jack’s annoyed and he snaps at Patty that his wife is missing. then she taunts Jack and asks if Diane is even still his wife. And then Jack loses it and he’s yelling at Patty, “Cut the crap.” And he demands to know where is she. So clearly Jack suspects that Patty had a hand in Diane going missing. And I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if Patty is involved.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Diane’s Been MIA

So, if you think back, the last time we saw Diane on Y&R, it was May 14th. And that was when she left Jack that voicemail saying she’s still hurt and angry and confused. But Diane’s message to Jack said she wanted to find a way to move forward. Diane also said in the message, “I love you, Jack, and I know that you love me.”

But it kind of doesn’t look like Diane’s message made it to Jack, at least not that he’s mentioned. And it looks like we get a glimpse of Diane on Monday’s Young and the Restless. So, she’s at some type of cabin or small house and it looks like there are bars on the window and she seems really out of it. So, I’m going to bet that either Patty took Diane or maybe Victor, you know, was conspiring with Patty to finish wrecking Jack and Diane’s marriage and he asked her to kidnap Jack’s wife.

Y&R: A New Character and Diane’s Rescue

So, on Monday, we have a doctor involved. We’re going to see great actor Jere Burns as Dr. Lawrence Markham in scenes with Diane on Monday. So, this could be a shady doctor who is keeping her drugged for Patty or maybe Diane is saved on Monday and that’s a doctor over at Genoa City Memorial Hospital. We’ll just have to wait and see. But it looks like Jack is going to get Diane back very soon.

Now, to the other medical emergency for Newman. There’s a tornado on the Beyond the Gates crossover and Victor left the event right after the speech knowing a big storm was coming without offering anybody else a ride out of town. His daughter Abby is there with Devon and Jack and Kyle and Diane. And so on the Thursday episode of Beyond the Gates after the tornado hits the Fairmont Crest country club, there’s this giant crystal chandelier and it crashes down right on top of Abby and squishes her.

I saw an interview with Eric Braeden saying everybody survived, so I’m assuming the chandelier doesn’t kill Abby or he forgot that Victor has another daughter. You know, he doesn’t spend a lot of time with her. But it might put a real scare into her, you know, cuz crystal chandelier squishing is pretty high stress. So, I also wonder if Jack might help dig out Abby and then Victor winds up owing Jack for saving somebody else in his family. However, I doubt that would stop Victor from hating on him.

Jonah Hill's Long-Awaited R-Rated Comedy Sequel Finally Confirmed

By TeeJay Small
| Published

Sometimes it feels like the blockbuster comedy has gone the way of Blockbuster video, and we never get any new laugh-riot movies in theaters anymore. Comedy fans have been whining about the lack of fun, lighthearted joke vehicles for years, and yearning for the days of simple chuckle-fests like Step Brothers, The Hangover, and 21 Jump Street. Now, according to Variety, you and all your comedy-loving friends can pump your fists with glee, because 24 Jump Street is officially in the works.

Franchise leads Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, and rap legend Ice Cube are each in talks to reprise their roles, with Phil Lord and Chris Miller attached to produce. Jonah Hill also co-authored the screenplay for the film alongside Meghan Malloy, so it seems pretty likely that he’ll agree to return. Rodney Rothman, who co-wrote and co-directed Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse will serve as the film’s director. For now, there’s no word on the plot, but we can assume that it centers on detectives Schmidt and Jenko going undercover in some completely off-the-walls environment.

The Crossover That Never Happened

For those who don’t recall, 21 Jump Street was an absolutely hilarious R-rated buddy cop comedy that released in 2012. The film’s frenetic energy, off-the-walls writing, and top-shelf performances from Hill, Tatum, and Ice Cube made it a genre-defining classic. Then, in 2014, the sequel 22 Jump Street took the insanity even further, cementing the franchise as a go-to theater watch. While fans were more than happy to keep spending money on the film franchise, things kind of stalled out shortly after 22 Jump Street‘s release, thanks to some behind the scenes Hollywood meddling.

23 Jump Street was reportedly meant to crossover with the Men In Black franchise, jumpstarting a comedic cinematic universe of drug dealing teens and undercover extraterrestrials. The script for that film bounced around Hollywood for over a decade, while Sony was busy fumbling Men In Black into relative obscurity. It’s a real shame, because the Jump Street movies obviously had a ton of pull among comedy fans, and Channing Tatum apparently called the crossover script “the best script that I’ve ever read for a third movie.”

The Blockbuster Comedy Is Back

Now that it’s been three presidential terms since the last Jump Street film released, most fans had quietly accepted that the fun was over, and returned to their miserable lives. That is, until this week, when producer Neal H. Moritz shared a photo of the 24 Jump Street cover page on social media, thus confirming that the boys are back in town. For now, there’s no word on a production schedule or a projected release date, but comedy fans everywhere are surely frothing at the mouth to learn more.

With any luck, the release of 24 Jump Street could spark a domino effect, leading to a resurgence of blockbuster comedies. If not, it will be worth it just to see our beloved baby-faced idiot cops again, in yet another hilarious misadventure.

General Hospital: Tracy ARRESTED After Explosive Showdown – Chase Furious with Wife & Granny Q!

Published

on

General Hospital: Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) - Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)

General Hospital brings high-profile arrest coming at the end of this week on GH. And it may be Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who is in handcuffs thanks to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). If Tracy is the one that Chase arrests, he may wind up in trouble both at work and at home.

We’re going to get into what Tracy does to aggravate Chase into possibly arresting her and whether any charges will stick along with how this messy family drama and how it will affect Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Chase, Tracy, and others.

General Hospital: Identifying the High-Profile Arrest

All right. So, we’ve been waiting all week long to see who is the high-profile arrest that Chase makes because honestly, there’s so many storylines to choose from that could have an arrest in it right now. Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was already arrested for putting three bullets into Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) or trying to if not for the bulletproof vest that he was in. But of course, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) drove Sidwell to the PCPD.

But stopped along the way and staged an escape, including letting Sidwell pistol whip him to make it look authentic. That way, Cassius could say he was assaulted by Sidwell’s thugs, which is ironic since Cassius is one of Sidwell’s thugs. And now we’ve got Jenz in hiding, and I doubt he’s going to turn up by Friday to be arrested. So, Chase probably isn’t going to arrest Sidwell again.

And then there’s the second person that people were hoping to see arrested. That’s Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Everybody’s hoping that she’ll be busted for drugging Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) after shooting him. And of course, Willow can’t be charged again with shooting Drew, but she could be charged with spousal abuse, false imprisonment, domestic violence, other charges. Willow drugging and keeping her husband, Drew, her prisoner, is all kinds of criminal.

Willow Gets the Upper Hand on GH

However, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) just offered Willow a deal to give her proof that Drew misused campaign funds. So, if Drew doesn’t keep quiet about Willow, then Drew himself may face arrest. However, it also seems way too fast for either Willow or Drew to be arrested over any of that.

And we know that Brook Lynn is conspiring with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to make it look like Willow was the other driver that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) ran off the road. the person that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is trying to blame for Jordan’s facial injuries. Well, we all know it was her and Curtis’s fault.

Jordan was driving down a windy, hilly road on a dark night and then decided to take her eyes off the road to make out with Curtis and drove into oncoming traffic. Rather than owning their stupidity, he’s blaming Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). But I don’t think that the doctor is going to be the one arrested because there’s just no proof. And Curtis already was cuffed. And despite Brooklyn plotting to ruin Willow, I doubt she or Lucy could trump up evidence that would be enough to get Willow arrested. So, I tend to think none of them are the arrest.

General Hospital: Tracy Quartermaine – The High-Profile Arrest

And yes, I would love to see Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) in handcuffs, but I don’t think there’s time for anyone to get the goods on him between now and Friday. And by the way, the episode hasn’t aired at the time that I’m doing this video. So, big question. Who’s the high-profile arrest that Chase makes? I suspect it may be Tracy Quartermaine, but not like off a warrant or something. I suspect Chase sees Tracy doing something illegal and arrest her on the spot because he witnesses it.

So, official General Hospital spoilers have three tidbits related to this storyline for Friday. One says Tracy has harsh words for Willow. Another has Brook Lynn going to Sonny for help. And the third is that Chase makes that high-profile arrest. But it looks like Tracy does more than just say harsh words.

She suspects that Willow and Chase are cheating. And Tracy even told Chase to pack his bags and get out of her house. But Brook Lynn got Tracy to back down. She doesn’t think Chase is the one in the wrong. Brook Lynn thinks Willow is out to seduce Chase. Kind of fair because Willow is a serial cheater who then tries to play like she’s an innocent good girl. But Tracy thinks that Chase and Willow are equally to blame and that they’re both trying to hurt Brook Lynn.

Tracy Loses It on Willow

So, Tracy’s yelling at Willow and at the end of this week she’s screaming for her to stay away from my family. Words are one thing, but then Tracy grabs Willow and starts shaking her. And when Tracy grabs her and yells, Willow looks really alarmed. And it looks like this happens down at the boat house by the lake on the Quartermaine property. So I suspect that Chase sees Tracy manhandling Willow and he snaps. Chase may arrest Tracy on the spot for assault. Not only because she laid hands on Willow, but also because Chase is really ticked off that Tracy accused him of cheating and then blabbed the same thing to Brook Lynn.

And we all know Chase is not a cheater, but he is a sucker because Willow has him fooled. So, if Chase does arrest Tracy, it explains why he’s getting chewed out by DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) on Friday. She tells Chase if he puts one toe out of line, then he is gone. But you know what? He doesn’t work for Justine.

He works for police commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). And that’s still complicated because both Chase and Dante live on the Quartermaine estate, which Tracy now owns. I’m thinking that Chase is going to decide pretty soon they just need to move off the property. He may want to take baby Phoebe and Brook Lynn and just go because Tracy is getting more aggressive by the day.

General Hospital: The Fallout and Marriage on the Brink

And if Chase’s high-profile arrest is Tracy, I would also expect for Brook Lynn to double down on ruining Willow’s reputation to put an end to all this. And this may be why Brook Lynn goes to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She may want some help fabricating evidence to smear Willow.

Even though whatever they put together, you know, wouldn’t be enough to get the congresswoman arrested. Still, I don’t know if Sonny will help or not. He kept telling his son Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to back off his anti-Willow plots. So, I just feel like Sonny might tell Brook Lynn the same thing. Have faith in your husband. Don’t do this. You know, plus once Chase finds out Brook Lynn was setting up Willow to be accused of something that Brook Lynn herself really did, I think that’s going to go badly for Chase’s wife. He’s going to be upset for a couple of reasons.

General Hospital: Tracy Quartermaine – Harrison Chase

General Hospital: Chase Blinded by Willow

First, because he thinks that Willow is some sort of angel on Earth, which is nuts. Second, Chase won’t like that Brook Lynn was the other driver in the Jordan crash and failed to come forward and identify herself at the time even though she wasn’t at fault and did nothing criminal in the wreck. Third, for Brook Lynn to not come forward and then to try and pin being the other driver on Willow is probably way too much chicanery for Chase to tolerate.

So, what happens with Tracy and Willow could be the breaking point for Chase and Brook Lynn’s marriage. And if Chase arrests Tracy and she vents to Brook Lynn about it, I’m betting that she’ll tell Tracy it’s not Chase’s fault, it’s Willow’s fault, and that she’s got a plan to stop her. You know, Tracy may even then help Brook Lynn go after Willow, especially if Sonny refuses to participate in plotting with her.

Tracy’s GH Track Record

Now, to be fair, it wouldn’t be the first time Tracy’s been arrested by the PCPD. She’s been brought in several times for things that she’s done. But I bet she pitches a fit and tries to get Justine or Dante to fire Chase. But let’s be real, Tracy assaulting a member of Congress on Friday is problematic because if Willow’s security was with her, they would have knocked Tracy down to stop it.

I am actually looking forward to seeing who Chase arrests and seeing Tracy shake Willow like she’s a defective Etch A Sketch is going to be the best end to the week on General Hospital. I want to see her shaken and then arrested.

Shifting Gears’ Tim Allen on Jenna Elfman Age Gap Concerns

Published

on

Shifting Gears Dating Histories

Tim Allen candidly weighed in on his age gap romance with Jenna Elfman on Shifting Gears — and recalled what concerns he initially had about the fictional relationship.

“The age difference is not much different than my wife and I,” Allen, 72, who has been married to wife Jane Hajduk since 2006, exclusively shared in Us Weekly‘s latest cover story.

Allen noted that his response to the age gap varies, adding, “It depends on the pictures. It gets creepy for me at a certain age [and] we’re right at that border. If Jenna didn’t look so damn nice than our age gap is not that much. I just let my hair go natural and she just looks — especially on camera — quite young.”

The actor noticed the difference when watching Matt and Eve’s scenes.

The Shifting Gears cast has had more success in their dating lives than their fictional counterparts. Shifting Gears, which premiered in January 2025, introduced Us to a car restoration shop opened by Tim Allen‘s character, Matt. After reuniting with his estranged daughter, Riley (Kat Dennings), the duo work on cars —and repairing their relationship. The […]

“They say when you’re lit better and I go, ‘When I’m lit better, I look probably 68,’” he quipped. “I just don’t want to be creepy about it — and that’s kind of the borderline image these days.”

Allen continued, “It hasn’t really come out — except when they joke about, ‘Well, a guy your age.’ When they have her making jokes about it, it’s not my preference. But I said, ‘It’s admitting what is there.’ There’s times — and I’ll give it to them — that they lit right and in the right clothing so it doesn’t look creepy.”

Shifting Gears introduced fans to Matt and Eve’s romance in season 1. The pair dated throughout the second season before calling it quits due to long distance. Matt and Eve — who have an age gap — found their way back to each other before season 2 concluded.

“Our showrunner [Michelle Nader] put this thing together and they really like the romance. I wanted a car show about a widower to deal with grief. That’s what I wanted,” Allen told Us. “I loved Kat Dennings [as my daughter] because she’s the perfect choice. That old dynamic is really where I was at.”

Allen chose to go with the flow when Elfman’s character was introduced, saying, “They threw this romance in there and I know Jenna so I said, ‘That’s not the problem. It’s just that I’m feeling way too old for her.’ Sometimes they say, ‘Visually it doesn’t look like you think it does.’”

After seeing the reception to the relationship, Allen is interested to see where the show takes the characters next.

“She’s so fun to be around and it’s brought out a whole different part of that show and brought a different audience to that show,” he continued. “I’m really out there for the car guys and I make sure the car stuff is fun and exciting. Then the office is cool and now you’ve got romance for the people that want that. Because it turns out the flirting and the actual activity between these two characters is working and I said, ‘All right, I’ll go there.’ [Jenna is] really good at this and the romance is kind of generated quite by accident.”

Allen promised that season 3 will continue to center around Matt and Eve.

“My question is — and we haven’t talked about it yet because we’ll start in late July to do our new season — is Jenna going to move in with me or am I going to move in with her [on the show]? I don’t know,” he noted. “I’d like to stretch it out where we’re just dating a little bit.”

He continued, “I said I don’t foresee it coming but [showrunner] Michelle [Nader] and her team surprised me again. I’m uncomfortable with it — because I’m a comedian — so I don’t know where this goes. It doesn’t matter, it’s working. It makes a dynamic sitcom move a little bit wider, definitely.”

Allen’s return to set will come after he wraps up promoting his return as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 5.

“It’s an amazing part of my life,” Allen said about the role, which he originated three decades prior. “Buzz has become such a part of me, and vice versa.”

Allen teased what fans can expect from the next chapter, which premieres in theaters on June 19, “When we did Toy Story 4, I said, ‘We need a little more Buzz in this.’ I was kidding, so it was very startling when I saw the storyboards. I said, ‘OK, you took that seriously.’”

He concluded, “It was very challenging to be that many Buzzes [in a toy cargo container], and then it got very confusing [as to] who’s talking to who, and I’m not sure exactly how they smoothed it out, but it was very funny to be part of that. … Essentially, it’s a story about a wonderful friendship. Kids recognize it, and adults recognize it, and they’ve added a whole color palette with the other toys, so it’s like a little community. I think [if it were with] stick figures, it would still be very popular.”

Shifting Gears is currently streaming on Hulu. Toy Story 5 premieres in theaters on June 19.
