Taylor Sheridan’s Biggest TV Series of 2026 Returns This Summer

With Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan launched what would become one of television’s most dominant franchises of the modern era. Its rich, expansive universe created seemingly endless opportunities for spin-offs, prequels, and sequels. Recently, a positive update surfaced on the fate of its long-awaited prequel, 1944, confirming that it actively remains a chapter in the Dutton family saga to look forward to. This year alone, two new spin-offs arrived in Marshals and Dutton Ranch, with the latter still currently releasing new episodes on Paramount+. The former, which continues to chart on streaming after its Season 1 finale, has now set an exciting new release for the summer.

Marshals, centering on Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), premiered on March 1 and marked firsts for the franchise. It became the first Yellowstone series to air on a broadcast network and the first not to be created or written by Sheridan himself (though he still influenced the shots as an executive producer). Those distinctions sparked considerable debate among fans, with some arguing that the show didn’t match the standard set by previous entries in the franchise. Marshals earned the weakest critical reception of any Yellowstone series to date. While such an outcome would spell doom for many shows in the current TV climate, the show still proved to be a major draw for audiences.

Marshals averaged an impressive 25.24 million viewers within 35 days of release, becoming the most popular broadcast TV show of 2026. While some dismissed it as a conventional CBS procedural that simply happened to feature a member of television’s most famous ranching family, audience interest told a different story. The strong performance following its March 1 premiere was enough to earn the series an easy Season 2 renewal. And now, Marshals is getting its first physical media release. Paramount Home Media will release Marshals Season 1 on DVD and Blu-ray on August 25 and has already begun pre-order sales. The three-disc set will feature a cover spotlighting Kayce as he rides across the Montana landscape in pursuit of his next target.

‘Marshals’ Season 2 Could Release This Year

With its Season 2 renewal arriving early, production has moved at a rapid pace. Reports indicate that cameras are already rolling in Park City, Utah, putting the series well on track for its next chapter. Season 2 is expected to resolve several lingering storylines from the Season 1 finale while also expanding the show’s world with some new characters. Among those set to return are Yellowstone alums Tate Dutton (Brecken Merrill), Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham), and Mo (Mo Brings Plenty). They will be joined once again by key Marshals characters, including Deputy U.S. Marshal Pete (Logan Marshall-Green), Deputy Belle (Arielle Kebbel), and Kayce’s potential love interest, Andrea (Ash Santos), with several new cast additions also expected.

While an official premiere date has yet to be announced, the current production timeline suggests that Season 2 could arrive as early as this fall, with a release before the end of 2026 highly likely. Lindsey Vonn’s ongoing recovery includes some much-needed time by the pool.

“June is gassed, no glazing!” the Olympian, 41, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, June 21, alongside a slideshow of how she’s spending her summer.

The first pic showed Vonn rocking a black bikini as she soaked up the sun on a warm afternoon. Her blonde hair was down, cascading in natural waves.

Vonn included additional moments where she was out with Laura Dern, Gayle King and other loved ones. The skier also attended a Black Eyes Peas concert.

In addition to her fun adventures, Vonn shared several snaps in the gym. In one clip, Vonn can be seen doing pull ups and posing alongside exercise equipment.

Earlier this year, Vonn suffered multiple leg injuries. Back in January, she tore her ACL during a World Cup race in Switzerland. Despite the pain, Vonn pushed through to make it to the Olympics, which began the following month. While competing in Milan and Cortina, Vonn crashed during the downhill event and needed to be airlifted to the hospital.

Vonn sustained a complex tibia fracture and underwent emergency surgery. The athlete later revealed that she nearly had her leg amputated due to the severe trauma caused by the crash.

“Dr. Tom Hackett saved my leg,” she explained in a March social media video. “He saved my leg from being amputated. He did what’s called a fasciotomy, where he cut open both sides of my leg and kind of filleted it open so to speak, let it breathe, and he saved me.”

Following the surgeries, Vonn’s top priority has been her recovery. She started hitting the gym again six weeks after the crash.

“First set of pull ups post surgery… slowly getting there,” Vonn captioned a video showing off her fitness routine.

As Vonn continued to put in the physical work, she opened up about the difficulties in her recovery process.

Last month, Vonn attended the Met Gala and ditched her crutches for the first time. Before arriving at the event, Vonn shared how much it meant for her to reach her recovery goal.

The Next Batman Movie Will Finally Adapt The Dark Knight’s Greatest Storyline

Of all the superheroes who’ve made their mark on the big screen, Batman is one of the few that Hollywood rarely seems to get tired of. The Dark Knight’s been the focus of multiple silver screen adventures, ranging from Tim Burton‘s gothic, gripping vision of Gotham to Christopher Nolan‘s more grounded character studies. Batman also thrives in animation, with plenty of animated series and movies to his name; one could even argue that the greatest Batman movie of all time is animated, if you talk with fans of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. A new trilogy of Batman animated movies is slated to debut starting this year, and it’ll adapt a story that fans of the Caped Crusader have been waiting to see for years.

Batman: Knightfall — Part 1 will adapt the first part of the sprawling “Knightfall” storyline, which pushed Batman to his limits by introducing one of his deadliest foes: the masked mastermind known only as Bane. Wanting to take Gotham City for himself, Bane breaks into Arkham Asylum and frees all of its prisoners, which leads Batman into a series of physically and mentally taxing conflicts. While The Dark Knight Rises previously adapted elements of Knightfall, this new trilogy intends to bring the entire storyline to life, even gathering a top tier cast that includes Anson Mount as Batman and Michael Mando as Bane.

‘Batman: Knightfall’ Was One of Two Storylines That Radically Reshaped the DC Universe

Knightfall helped establish multiple elements that are still present in DC Comics’ current slate of Batman titles; chief among them is the idea of a crossover spanning all of those titles that usually pits Batman against one of his deadliest foes, like “City of Bane” by Tom King, Tony S. Daniel and Mikel Janin that features another major confrontation between Batman and Bane, or the upcoming “Bad Seeds” storyline where Poison Ivy will unlease an extinction-level event in Gotham City. Knightfall also features one of the most shocking moments in comic book history, where Bane defeats Batman in battle and breaks his back. What made this storyline even more impactful is that it took place around the same time as The Death of Superman, meaning that longtime comic book fans had to watch Superman die and Batman get beaten into a bloody pulp.

Even more shocking was the fact that a new successor to the Batman mantle would take Bruce Wayne’s place: Jean-Paul Valley, the former assassin known as Azrael. Valley manages to defeat Bane with the help of a mechanically augmented Batsuit, but starts to grow more violent and erratic due to the conditioning he underwent at the hands of the Order of St. Dumas. Bruce Wayne, having been healed through supernatural means (because comics) eventually returns to Gotham and trains himself into fighting shape so he can take back his mantle from Valley. Dennis O’Neil, who helped conceive the Knightfall storyline, would later confirm that Valley’s tenure as Batman was meant to serve as commentary on the antihero trend that permeated 90s-era comics.

“We’d been wondering for a long, long time, with his stricture against killing and his Boy Scout morality, if our hero was outmoded…So instead of continuing to avoid the question, we decided to confront it and put out there a Batman who was as genuinely nuts as our Batman was sometimes accused of being.”

‘Batman: Knightfall’ Is Finally Giving One Robin A Much-Needed Spotlight

When Batman: Knightfall — Part 1 premieres, it will see Batman working side by side with Tim Drake, who was Robin at the time. This is a major deal because Tim is rarely depicted in most media. The Batman: Knightfall trilogy might be one of the rare Batman adaptations that will please longtime fans and newcomers alike. Its first installment is receiving rave reviews out of the Annecy Festival, and with an R-rating it’s bound to push the boundaries of what a Batman film can be. Bane may have “broken the Bat”, but Batman’s silver screen streak remains untarnished.

Allison Williams Plays Coy About A ‘Girls’ Reunion Project

Actress Allison Williams is playing coy about the possibility of a “Girls” reunion weeks after her co-star Lena Dunham made accusations against Adam Driver in her new memoir, “Famesick.” The showrunner, director, and star alleged that the “Star Wars” actor screamed in her face, threw a chair at the wall when she forgot her lines, and once even punched a hole in the wall of his trailer. Although Driver had “no comment” when questioned at the Cannes Film Festival, Dunham admitted in her tell-all book that she hasn’t spoken to the actor since “Girls” wrapped. The HBO comedy ran from 2012 to 2017.

Allison Williams reunited with her father, Brian Williams, on an episode of his podcast, “We’re Back! With Brian Williams!” In a clip exclusively shared with PEOPLE magazine ahead of the episode’s official release, Brian asks his daughter, “Are we going to see the ‘Girls’ get together?”

“Oh my God, I would love that. The answer is, I hope so,” Allison replied. “I will be there if they call. I’m absolutely there.”  

The series followed Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham), Marnie Michaels (Williams), Jessa Johansson (Jemima Kirke), and Shoshanna Shapiro (Zosia Mamet) as they navigated their lives in New York City. Adam Driver portrayed Adam Sackler on the series. Although he was first a love interest for Dunham’s Hannah, he ended up with Jessa on the series finale.

Williams Teases That A ‘Girls’ Reunion Is ‘More Likely’ Now

Williams went on to say that it’s “more likely” that a “Girls” reunion would happen now, given that the characters are much older than they were in the initial series.

“It gets more and more likely that every year that goes by, because it would become more and more interesting to check in with everybody, as I’ve, this year, turned 40. Lena just turned 40,” she explained. “We’re in a new stage of life. I would be just so curious to catch up with everybody. It would be so fun to get the gang back together.”

When pressed by her father, Williams admitted, “You know things that you are not supposed to know,” and then doubled down, saying, “I’m not telling you anything. I’m not saying a word.”

This Isn’t The First Time Allison Williams Talked About ‘Girls’

She briefly discussed the feud between Adam Driver and Lena Dunham with Variety earlier this year, claiming that she “can’t say anything” about the accusations. Despite that, she admitted she has a “lifelong bond” with Dunham and that the two “love each other.”

Proior to that, in a January 2023 interview with The Guardian, Williams admitted that it would be much more difficult to create “Girls” today.

“I was thinking recently, if I was cast on Girls now, what would the experience be for me and I think it would be much more stressful,” she admitted. “I didn’t know anything else.”

“I was 22 when I was cast on the show, I was 23 when it came out. We were so young and it was loud in the way of watercooler and thinkpieces and Gawker was, like, obsessed with us and it was the heyday of that kind of thing but I didn’t have any sense of how to calibrate how big any of it really was,” she continued.

Williams Compares Lena Dunham’s Writing To Taylor Swift

She went on to compare Lena Dunham’s writing with pop star Taylor Swift. Interestingly enough, the two are close friends. Dunham appeared in the singer’s “Bad Blood” music video in 2014. More recently, Swift made an appearance at Dunham’s 40th birthday dinner in NYC.

“It was really also diminishing of our skill,” Williams told the Guardian at the time. “I saw that Taylor Swift was giving an interview recently where she said that people were treating her music like it was a trick, like there wasn’t skill involved. And as one of the great living songwriters, I don’t know how that is possible, but I do know that is how it also felt, probably for Lena, that people thought it was just some accident that she was writing these episodes or something.”

Adam Driver Is ‘Saving It All For My Book’

At the Cannes Film Festival, Driver was asked about the allegations that Dunham made about him in her memoir. He joked, “I have no comment on any of that,” before adding, “I’m saving it all for my book.”

In one section of her book, she alleged that he was “verbally aggressive” towards her and “hurled a chair at the wall” next to her when she forgot her lines.

“Late one night, as we practiced lines in my trailer, I found that mine were suddenly gone. I knew I’d written them. I’d known them only minutes before,” she wrote. “But when I opened my mouth, all that came out was a stammer — until finally, Adam screamed, ‘F-CKING SAY SOMETHING’ and hurled a chair at the wall next to me. ‘WAKE THE F-CK UP,’ he told me. ‘I’M SICK OF WATCHING YOU JUST STARE.’”

She also alleged that they once almost crossed a boundary in their relationship before Driver proposed to his wife, Joanne Tucker.

Carrying over from Tuesday’s episode, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is still salty about there being a jewelry line and he’s worried about Electra being upset he didn’t warn her. I’m sure Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is gonna remind him to keep it zipped or else. Will’s dad doesn’t suffer fools or betrayers.

Brooke amps up her aggression against Katie as Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) hides and listens in. Brooke’s certain that the Logan team is trying to outshine Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Brooke again repeated her nonsense about them tricking him while talking to Eric and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

I have to say, I was appalled that Eric didn’t defend Katie and make clear that he’s the one who insisted he be her first designer, not the other way around. Eric’s acting spineless as far as I’m concerned. So, Brooke rants at Katie, makes her threat to search their offices. Brooke repeatedly demands to know who’s the designer and Katie tells her she’ll find out tomorrow along with everyone else. I am kinda hoping Bill intervenes and tells her to kick rocks. Hope may warn him because she creeps out as Brooke keeps ranting at Katie.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Katie & Bill’s Sneaky Move

Katie and Bill use Forrester Creations to their advantage. They already sent out a splashy announcement knowing a lot of fashion elite are in town for Eric’s show. I mean, it’s sneaky but it’s also clever PR. I can’t wait to see what Brooke reports back to the other Forresters.

The Forrester family goes on the defensive. They just found out Katie’s dropping her new collection seems like it’s set for the day before Eric’s. Once Brooke reports back, the Forresters might try and dissuade influencers and press from going to the Logan launch.

If Eric assumes this is revenge, that’s ironic. Katie’s not thinking about clapping back at him but Eric honestly deserves it for the way he dipped and ghosted Logan after forcing his way in as their first designer.

Bold and the Beautiful: The Launch Begins – Thursday, June 25th and Friday, June 26th

It’s the first official day of July sweeps. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope end up in an awkward situation. We’ll see if Brooke corners them with questions. Since they live on her property, Liam and Hope may not be able to avoid her.

Electra wishes Will good luck for him and the other Spencers on their big launch. Meanwhile, he feels guilty but was warned by Bill not to tell Electra about the jewelry line. I’m wondering if Will cracks and tells Electra – he better not! Dollar Bill will roast him!

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: The Big Day for Logan, Hope, & Deke!

It’s time for Logan to hit the runway! The 2nd day of sweeps is already hitting big with Katie and Bill presenting Hope Logan for the House of Logan. She and Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) will see their designs on the runway and jaws dropping over at Forrester Creations.

The blue Hope for the Future diamond’s supposed to be featured. I think that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) really does have the real gem because he let Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) look at it with her jewelry loupe and she’d have said something if it wasn’t legit. Instead, she told Wyatt it was flawless.

I’m assuming Bill’s going to put it on Hope’s neck before she goes to take her bow. And Electra may shout out that she’s watching the live stream. You know the Forresters are going to be watching from the CEO office, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Brooke tried to crash in person.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Donna & Dottie Return

What’s funny is they’re doing a whole retcon about it being missing – I don’t recall it being missing – Wyatt had given it to Hope then she tried to give it back, so last I remember, it was in either Wyatt or Hope’s hands. It was left to Wyatt in the original owner’s will.

Also, expect lots of models, influencers, Logan staff, and photographers. And there’s even an Access Hollywood correspondent in a guest role. Donna’s back on Friday so I wonder if she’s over at Logan to support Katie or over at Forrester Creations standing with Eric. I expect Donna to be grilled by the Forresters, asking if she knew.

And I don’t think she’ll lie and then I think Brooke may rage at her too. Dottie Bright (Morgan Fairchild) and her assistant Joseph (Jim J. Bullock) are back on so they’re either watching with the Forresters or over at Logan – I suspect they may turn up at the Logan fashion show to see what goes down.

Bold and the Beautiful: July Sweeps in Full Gear – June 29th Through July 3rd

This is the first full week of July sweeps, and the stakes are going to be higher and the drama’s going to be off the charts. Also, Friday is the official federal holiday for Independence Day even though July 4 falls on Saturday. There’s a chance of a Bold and the Beautiful rerun or preemption, but hopefully not.

We’ll see Electra in a panic over the House of Logan jewelry line. I would expect her to be unhappy with Will even though he’ll tell her Bill swore him to secrecy – professional secrets aren’t like personal secrets after all.

Carry over from Friday’s House of Logan show – we might see Hope and Deke taking their bows again on Monday with looks of horror on the faces of Brooke, Ridge, Eric, Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) and others and Electra honing in on the big blue diamond that she wanted to get her hands on.

Bill and Katie are flying high – I expect really good reviews and the Foresters are going to be super salty and off their game going into Eric’s couture launch – the press may grill him, Ridge and Brooke asking why Hope left Forrester Creations. And was it for the same reason Eric left Forrester Creations before.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: RJ Blows Up

Katie’s early debut could really take the shine off Eric’s collection and leave the Forresters reeling like a one-two punch. Brooke’s going to be in Katie’s face losing it on her for poaching Hope. And I doubt Brooke will accept Hope wanted this – like she keeps fibbing about Eric being tricked.

R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) is going to lose his mind and may publicly confront Will – we could see a physical altercation because R.J. will call them thieves, losers, the usual anti-Spencer stuff he likes to spout.

Donna faces scrutiny over knowing about Hope and sitting on the secret. Eric will be upset, so will Ridge. I suspect Brooke will feel like all the Logan ladies betrayed her. It’s messy.

Young and Restless Early Spoilers June 29-July 3: Victor Forces Action & Jack Takes Dangerous Gamble!

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) - Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)

Young and the Restless early spoilers for June 29th through July 3rd stun with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) going all out to help Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) even though she claims she doesn’t want anything from him and she even gave back her wedding rings. Also, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) makes a risky move for his wife Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).

And as always, on early edition day, we start with the rest of this week and then we get into what is coming next week.

Young and the Restless: Nikki’s Crisis and Family Tensions – Wednesday, June 24th

So, let’s do it. On Wednesday, June 24th, we’ve got Victor telling Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he knows what is going on about Nikki’s health. He knows something’s going on and he demands answers. So, Victoria won’t spill what’s happening with Nikki and he knows from Claire about the headaches, but not the whole extent of things. And when Victor tries to get the information from Nikki directly, she reminds him he tossed her out of the house and that Victor gave away her company and she says she owes him nothing.

So, Claire tells Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) that Victor and Nikki really need each other but are both being stubborn. And Holden says secrets always come out anyway. So, later Claire circles back to Victor and she just goes ahead and tells him what is going on with Nikki’s health. And of course he is worried.

Meanwhile, Victoria tells Nikki that Claire will keep her secret. Uh oh. Nikki gets another horrible headache and asks Victoria to take her to the hospital after again refusing to tell Victor the truth. Even though Victoria pestered her about letting Victor be there for her, she just won’t agree. But of course, Claire already took care of it.

Young and the Restless: Nick’s Struggle and Matt’s Redemption Attempt

Also, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tells Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that he is struggling with recovery. Nick went to a meeting and there was a guy there who turned up high after years of being clean. So, he tells Sharon that he has dreams of getting high and she tells Nick just give it time. Sharon leaves and Nick has to chase off a dealer that he’s bought from before who approaches him.

Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is at the Shadow Room when Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) shows up to apologize and he tells Noah he really liked him when they met. And Matt says he always thought that people were suckers and he was smarter. Now he knows better. Noah calls Matt out for how he treated Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). And then he calls Matt irredeemable and basically threatens to kill him. He tells Noah that he could have killed him or let him die, but he didn’t. And then Matt asks for a chance to show that he has changed. Noah says that Matt is not even human.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Plays Referee

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) joins and tries to calm things down. And Noah wants to know why she is even around Matt. And Noah reminds her that Matt is not even a bargaining chip anymore. Phyllis says that Matt is not a danger to him. And then Phyllis and Matt go over to the Genoa City Athletic Club and he talks about how everybody is freaked out about him and thinks he’s going to attack them. Phyllis knows what it’s like because people think that she is too much as well. Matt talks about her incredible brain and her beauty and then he asks her out on a date.

Noah finds Nick right after he ran off the dealer and asks who it was. He hesitates but then admits that yes, it was a drug dealer. Noah wants to know if Nick bought anything and he says he did not, but the struggle is real. Noah calls him a hero, but Nick does not feel that way. Noah says the Shadow Room is doing well, but Matt dropped by and Noah didn’t like that at all. Not one bit. But Nick actually says that Matt is not a danger. Security is on him, but also I think Nick thinks he is declawed. Noah is mad that Victor’s letting Matt roam free around Genoa City, and he’s even driving one of Victor’s cars, by the way. Noah plans to make things hard for Matt.

Young and the Restless July Sweeps Kicks Off – Thursday, June 25th and Friday, June 26th

Then on Thursday, June 25th, July sweeps kicks off and Jack is considering how to go about saving Diane. So, we’ll see Jack explaining to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) found out where Dr. Markham lives and they need to lure the guy out of there. So, Kyle has already volunteered to go in and search the place for Diane. And Billy is wondering what happens if Markham gets suspicious and goes back. So, we’ll see if Billy winds up helping Jack and Kyle with this caper.

Also, Victor springs into action to help Nikki as things get worse. Her vision is further impaired. Her headaches are getting worse. She needs surgery ASAP. So, maybe Victor is going to assemble a dream team to help her. Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) is back with temporary recast actress Lauren Koslow in the role. She’s gonna stay for just five episodes. So Jill gets together with Billy. She’s going to hear about the new grandchild she has on the way and that he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are pregnant and engaged, all that good stuff. And Jill gets an update on Chancellor and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) being named CEO.

Nate Gets an Offer on Y&R

Then on Friday, June 26th, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) gets an offer to work on a special project. So, we’ll see if Victor recruited him to help Nikki. Remember, she wanted Nate to do her surgery, but he had to remind Nikki that he does not operate anymore. Victor finds out something new about Nikki’s diagnosis. We’ll see if Claire spills some more tea, or maybe he gets it from Nikki or even Nate.

Also, Kyle and Jack take a big risk where Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is concerned and they are moving forward in their plan to save Diane. This may be when they make a move on Young and the Restless. So, they are going to try to get into Dr. Markham’s house of insanity.

Young and the Restless: July Sweeps in Full Gear – June 29th Through July 3rd

Then, the week of June 29th through July 3rd, this is actually the first full week of July sweeps. So, look for amped up drama. Also, Friday, July 3rd is a federal holiday for Independence Day, which falls on Saturday this year. So, there is a possibility of a rerun. So, keep an eye on your DVR just in case.

Also, Victor is going to be trying to make amends with Nikki and doing all he can to save her eyesight. Hopefully, Victor is going to insist that Nikki comes back home to the new ranch house as she is going through this crisis and surgery and recovery and all that. Nick is really struggling and there is a relapse on the horizon for him. Plus, Cane settles into the CEO chair at Chancellor. I think he is really going to love Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) being his boss. That way, he can flirt with her every chance that he gets. And Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is going to continue to be hateful about all of it.

Nate Goes Back to Medicine on Y&R?

We’ll see if helping Nikki revives Nate’s passion for medicine. Remember, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was encouraging him about that recently. I also wonder if Nikki is going to be upset with Claire for telling Victor her secret or secretly glad that he knows since he is acting better after finding out. More should come to light about Dr. Markham and his bizarre twisted arrangement with crazy Patty. Once Jack and Kyle get Diane away from Markham, expect a big old meltdown from Patty when she finds out she lost her chance with Jack. Not that she really had a chance.

Also, Lauren Koslow wraps her run as Jill, and Jack is eager to throw Patty out of the Abbott mansion and move Diane back home and have a full and legitimate reconciliation of their marriage. However, even once Jack saves Diane, I do not expect Patty is going to go away quietly.

Amazon has officially started the search for the next actor to play James Bond, and until the role is cast, Daniel Craig will remain the face of the franchise for the generation that grew up with his movies. Craig played the iconic British agent in five films across 15 years. The franchise has never taken this long before rebooting, but this could be attributed to its creative rights being sold to Amazon and the ensuing revamp this sale entails. For the first time, the James Bond franchise will expand beyond theatrical movies; Amazon plans to create streaming shows and other spin-offs set in the high-stakes world of Agent 007. Interest in who’ll be cast as Bond has been at fever pitch for the last several years, and recent streaming data reveals that the franchise remains as popular as ever.

While the Bond IP now belongs to Amazon, Craig’s movies are currently playing on Netflix in several territories across the world. Craig’s final film as Bond, No Time to Die, was among Netflix’s most-watched films this past week. The streamer shared its weekly round-up, revealing that No Time to Die was the ninth-most-watched movie on the platform during the week of June 15 to June 21, when the leaderboard was topped by the true-crime sensation Maternal Instinct. Also on the top-10 list were the animated hit GOAT, the crime-thriller Street Kings, and a handful of Netflix originals such as Office Romance and Voicemails for Isabelle.

James Bond Remains a Huge Draw

No Time to Die was released theatrically in 2021. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the movie grossed $770 million worldwide against a reported budget of $300 million. It fell short of the high box-office benchmark set by Skyfall, which remains the only Bond movie to make more than $1 billion worldwide. No Time to Die now holds a “Certified Fresh” 83% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “It isn’t the sleekest or most daring 007 adventure, but No Time to Die concludes Daniel Craig’s franchise tenure in satisfying style.” While it isn’t considered to be in the same league as either Skyfall or Casino Royale, fans generally agree that it was a better Bond movie than Craig’s other two outings as the character, Quantum of Solace and Spectre.
