The Best Mystery Series of All Time Is Surging on Streaming 30 Years After It Ended

Published

on

Mia McKenna-Bruce and Nabhaan Rizwan face each other on a street in Agatha Christie's Seven Dials.

In the 1980s, male protagonists dominated TV detective mysteries. Tom Selleck was the epitome of cool on Magnum, P.I., as were Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas on Miami Vice, while Simon & Simon paired Gerald McRaney and Jameson Parker together as private investigator brothers. One small-screen detective, however, was not like the others. In 1984, Murder, She Wrote debuted on CBS, starring the near-60-year-old Angela Lansbury in the lead role of Jessica Fletcher. Today, 30 years after its last episode aired in 1996, Murder, She Wrote is still a big streaming hit, now topping the charts on the Apple TV store.

‘Murder, She Wrote’ Embraces a Unique Lead and Setting

TV detective shows often embrace predictable tropes. The lead is often a grizzled cop, a guy new to the force, or a wise-cracking P.I. Sometimes they’re paired with a reluctant partner. Nearly every time, they’re officially employed by law enforcement, have a military background, and use the gun on their hip and physical strength to subdue the bad guys. Murder, She Wrote‘s Jessica Fletcher fits none of these character archetypes.

10 Mystery Shows To Watch if You Love ‘Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials’

We’ve got more mysteries to solve!

Rather than being a seasoned detective, Jessica has never worked in law enforcement. Instead, she’s a famous writer of mystery novels and a retired English teacher. Not only is she a widow, but she’s also a strong, independent, and outspoken woman who refuses to be the damsel in distress when things get tough. She’s a bit eccentric, but not in an off-putting way. She’s always kind to her friends and strangers, making her easy to root for. Most compelling of all, Jessica uses what she’s learned from writing mysteries to solve them in real life. Rather than charging into investigations, she uses her disarming nature to interview suspects, then puts the pieces together before leaving it to law enforcement to take the bad guys down.

Another aspect that helps Murder, She Wrote stand out from the rest of the pack is its setting. So many TV mysteries take place in New York, Los Angeles, or another big city, but can you really imagine Angela Lansbury taking down gun-toting drug dealers on Miami Vice? Most episodes of the CBS show take place in the fictional town of Cabot Cove, Maine, where Jessica is from and where she has retired to. Cabot Cove is a small, picturesque town, the perfect place to spend your golden years, but there are also plenty of secrets — and murderers — for Jessica to uncover, provided you’re willing to suspend your disbelief about that.

‘Murder, She Wrote’ Is Cozy Despite Its Dark Subject Matter

Despite the darker implications of its premise, Murder, She Wrote is a cozy murder mystery series. In every episode, someone is killed by an unknown figure, and it’s up to Jessica to figure out what happened and who’s ultimately responsible. With a murder having taken place, the stakes are, of course, high, but Jessica’s life never hangs in the balance, and all of this death won’t traumatize her. Instead, it brings out the best of a character who becomes a Sherlock Holmes-type super sleuth. None of this goes to her head, either. Jessica is already rich and famous; now she’s seemingly the best detective in the world. Still, she’s the type of person who cares about her small-town friends more than anything else. Dr. Seth Hazlitt (William Windom) is a dear friend who always has her back and helps her out. So do the local law enforcement bosses, like Sheriff Amos Tupper (Tom Bosley) and later Sheriff Mort Metzger (Ron Masak).

Murder, She Wrote is predictable, but that’s not a criticism. It’s exactly why the series succeeded so many decades ago and why it’s still drawing in viewers today on streaming. It’s the television equivalent of a warm blanket, and a fun escape that doubles as family-friendly entertainment. What’s more is that other quirky, women-led mystery series, like Poker Face and iZombie, might not have ever existed if Jessica Fletcher hadn’t been solving murders in Cabot Cove 30 years ago.

Stephani Sosa Accidentally Injures DWTS: Next Pro Contestant

Published

DANCING WITH THE STARS THE NEXT PRO

Ezra Sosa‘s sister, Stephani Sosa, was involved in an incident on Dancing With the Stars: Next Pro that resulted in a contestant’s abrupt exit.

During the Monday, July 27, episode of the ABC show, Stephani accidentally hit Natalie Jolley in the face while they were practicing choreography as a group. Stephani didn’t notice that she swung her arm in Natalie’s face until the latter started to cry.

Natalie said she felt dizzy as one of her eyes started to swell shut. Stephani explained in a confessional that she didn’t even realize she had hurt Natalie.

“I don’t know what happened. The dance was moving so quickly, and Natalie got hit in the face,” she explained. “I just hate being the one that caused that. Like, I just feel horrible. I know she’s worked really hard to be here, and I hope she’s OK. … Sorry, I just care.”

Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro has 12 strong competitors fighting for their spot on Dancing With the Stars. The upcoming reality series dropped another first look on Thursday, June 25, introducing ABC viewers to the upcoming cast. Host Robert Irwin said the show “searched the world” to find these top competitors, who come […]

Natalie was pulled out of rehearsals by production to get medical attention. An ambulance was eventually called once Natalie mentioned she couldn’t breathe through her nose.

“It hurts really bad,” she said before producers reassured her that the medical team would help, adding, “They’re going to give you some pain relief, OK? Just try to slow your breathing down.”

Natalie never returned to perform her group dance on DWTS: Next Pro. Instead, judge Shirley Ballas told the group that no one was going to be eliminated because Natalie’s health scare prevented her from continuing on the show.

“Tonight was the last dance for … neither of you,” she announced. “Following Natalie’s injury, she was not medically cleared to compete, and so she has been eliminated. This means you will all live to dance another day.”

Despite her abrupt exit, Natalie was given the chance to say goodbye.

Over the years, Dancing With the Stars contestants and professionals have dealt with their fair share of health scares while participating on the show. “I’m really sad and disappointed that I won’t be able to continue in this competition, but the most important thing is just to take care of my body so that I can dance again,” she said. “I love all of you so, so, so much and I’m going to miss you all. Thank you so much.”

Before DWTS: Next Pro premiered on ABC, Stephani spoke exclusively to Us about the pressure of competing on the show while her brother is already a pro on Dancing With the Stars. (Stephani was previously part of the DWTS troupe during season 33.)

“I honestly felt like I was treated like everyone else,” she shared earlier this month. “I definitely feel like the experience for me wasn’t easy. It was very hard, and I definitely feel like they expected a lot more from me because I was Ezra’s sister.”

Stephani noted she “had a lot more to prove,” adding, “I went in being like, ‘Yeah, I’ve done this. I am Ezra’s sister, but this is a new chapter.’ This is me proving myself fully and there are no excuses.”

‘Stargate’ Creator’s New Sci-Fi Series Returns for Season 3 Tomorrow

Published

on

The Ark TV Series Poster

Just last month, Stargate fans were dealt another major disappointment when Amazon reportedly scrapped its planned revival of the beloved sci-fi franchise. The series was set to be led by franchise veteran Martin Gero, who wrote for all three previous live-action Stargate shows. Reports initially suggested Amazon executives were concerned the project wouldn’t appeal beyond the franchise’s existing fanbase, although later reports indicated the cancellation stemmed from leadership changes within the company. The decision sparked an immediate backlash, with fans launching online campaigns urging Amazon to reverse course and reinstate Gero’s project.

While fans continue to hope for good news about Stargate‘s future, another ambitious space-set sci-fi series deserves their attention, especially since it comes from one of the franchise’s original creative minds. Long before the cancelled Amazon revival, Dean Devlin, who co-wrote and co-produced the 1994 Stargate film alongside Roland Emmerich, helped launch the franchise. Nearly three decades later, Devlin returned to science fiction with The Ark, which he created alongside fellow Stargate veteran Jonathan Glassner.

Premiering on February 1, 2023, The Ark returns for its third season in just 24 hours, nearly two years after the Season 2 finale. Set 100 years in the future, the Syfy series follows the crew of Ark One, a spacecraft carrying humanity’s hopes of survival after Earth becomes increasingly uninhabitable. When disaster strikes en route, the surviving crew must overcome impossible odds to find a new home for the human race.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Season 3 Looks Like ‘The Ark’s Strongest Yet

With just one day until The Ark returns, anticipation is building for Captain Sharon Garnet (Christie Burke) and the crew of Ark One as they continue humanity’s fight for survival. Season 2 concluded with Garnet receiving a mysterious distress signal from the Ross 128 system, while another cliffhanger viewers were left with was what the mysterious alien stone tablet discovered by Angus Medford (Ryan Adams) could mean for the colony’s future.

The upcoming season promises to expand the sci-fi mystery’s mythology even further. Speaking about Season 3 in a recent interview, Burke teased new technologies, deeper explorations of The Ark‘s origins, and “incredibly complicated” new villains. She also revealed that viewers will learn much more about Garnet’s backstory, while every major character will receive meaningful development. Perhaps most encouraging of all, she believes the new episodes surpass everything the sci-fi drama has done so far, saying that Season 3 “is genuinely our best season.”

The Ark Season 3 premieres on Syfy on July 29, 2026.

CBS has always been able to rely on Paramount Plus to deliver some of the biggest streaming hits in the world, and right now, it’s Taylor Sheridan and his legendary Western empire making the network a fortune right now. Sheridan’s original neo-Western drama, Yellowstone, is once again the #1 show in the world on Paramount Plus, where it streams around the world except in America, where the show has found a home on Peacock courtesy of NBCUniversal. Sheridan also has other shows like Dutton Ranch and Tulsa King dominating Paramount Plus right now, along with the first season of Marshals, which was Sheridan’s first-ever network show. CBS even announced yesterday, as part of a wider range of release date confirmations, that Marshals Season 2 will officially premiere on October 4, with new episodes releasing weekly after Episode 1.

Late September and early October is going to be a great time to be tuned into CBS, as now that the full slate — or most of it — has been revealed, we finally have an idea of how things are shaping up for the 2026 season on the network. One of the most exciting days heading into the new season is Friday, October 9, which will see the return of three beloved shows, some of which have been on the air longer than others. Kicking off the premiere Friday night on CBS is Sheriff Country, which will premiere its second season at 8. Following Sheriff Country Season 1 is Fire Country Season 5, which will air at 9 pm and lead directly into Boston Blue Season 2 at 10. New episodes will stream on Paramount+ the day after their premiere on CBS.

Collider Exclusive · Action Hero Quiz
Which Action Hero Would Be
Your Perfect Partner?

Rambo · James Bond · Indiana Jones · John McClane · Ethan Hunt
Advertisement

Five legends. Five completely different ways of getting out alive — with style, with muscle, with charm, with luck, or with a plan so intricate it probably shouldn’t work. Ten questions will reveal which action hero was built to have your back.

🎖️Rambo

🍸James Bond

🏺Indiana Jones

🔧John McClane

🎭Ethan Hunt

01

You’re dropped into a dangerous situation with no warning. What do you need most from a partner?
The first few seconds tell you everything about who belongs beside you.

02

You have to get somewhere dangerous, fast. How do you travel?
How you get there is half the mission.

03

You’re pinned down and outnumbered. What does your ideal partner do?
This is when you find out what someone is really made of.

04

The mission is paused. You have one evening to decompress. What does your partner suggest?
Who someone is when the pressure drops is who they actually are.

05

How do you prefer your partner to communicate mid-mission?
Good communication is the difference between partners and a liability.

06

Your enemy is powerful, well-resourced, and has the upper hand. How should your partner approach them?
The approach to the enemy defines the partnership.

07

Things go badly wrong and you’re captured. What do you trust your partner to do?
Who someone is when you need them most is the only thing that matters.

08

What does your ideal partner bring to the table that you couldn’t replace?
A great partner fills the gap you didn’t know you had.

09

Every partnership has a cost. Which of these can you live with?
No one comes without baggage. The question is whether you can carry it together.

10

It’s the final moment. Everything is on the line. What do you need from your partner right now?
The last question is the most honest one.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

October 4 Is Another Big Day for CBS

Only a few days before the massive slate of new releases on October 9, CBS is bringing back even more shows that Sunday, October 4. Kicking off the night is the NFL on CBS doubleheader, which will lead directly into the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s Marshals, arriving on October 4 at 8:30. Once Marshals goes off the air at 9:30, Tracker fans will step in to see what’s next with Colter Shaw (played by Justin Hartley) in Season 4 of the hit series. Both shows will move to 8 and 9, respectively, after the season premiere.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of all the new projects coming to CBS this season.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day First Reviews Are In, Critics Are Calling It Tom Holland’s Best Yet : Coastal House Media

Who Is Sadie Sink Playing in Spider Man Brand New Day? Every Major Fan Theory Explained

Marvel Studios has managed to pull off something that feels almost impossible in today’s internet age: keeping one of the biggest casting secrets completely under wraps.

As Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters this week, fans are still asking the same question they’ve been debating for more than a year:

Who is Sadie Sink actually playing?

The speculation reached another level after Sony released a new promotional clip featuring Sink, where her answer about her character is intentionally bleeped out, instantly sending social media into detective mode once again. While the clip offers no definitive answers, it is the latest example of Marvel leaning into one of the film’s biggest mysteries.

Marvel Isn’t Hiding It by Accident

Director Destin Daniel Cretton recently explained that the secrecy is completely intentional and for good reason.

“There is a very real reason” the role hasn’t been revealed, Cretton said, adding that audiences will understand why once they have seen the movie. He also noted that while some fans enjoy knowing every detail ahead of release, preserving surprises is part of the experience.

That comment alone has convinced many fans that Sink’s character is not simply another supporting role, but someone whose identity could reshape the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Biggest Fan Theories

Gwen Stacy

Perhaps the safest prediction is Gwen Stacy.

Peter Parker is beginning a brand new chapter following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, making this an ideal opportunity to introduce one of Spider Man’s most iconic comic book characters.

With MJ and Ned moving on with their lives and no longer remembering Peter, a new relationship could naturally fit into this next phase of the franchise.

Jean Grey

For months, the internet was convinced Sink would make her MCU debut as Jean Grey, finally bringing one of Marvel’s most powerful mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The theory made sense on paper. Sink has the look, the acting range, and Marvel is steadily building toward introducing the X Men.

However, Tom Holland recently appeared to pour cold water on that idea, saying, “Well, she’s not in this movie, but it would be pretty cool.” Whether fans believe Holland, or think he is simply protecting another Marvel secret, is another story entirely.

Jean Grey [Marvel Comics]

Mayday Parker

Another increasingly popular theory suggests Sink could be playing Mayday Parker, Peter Parker’s daughter from an alternate universe.

Given Marvel’s continued use of multiverse storytelling, introducing Mayday now could open the door for future Spider Man stories while expanding the Parker family legacy beyond Peter himself.

Rachel Summers

Some fans have gone even deeper into Marvel lore by predicting Rachel Summers, the daughter of Jean Grey and Cyclops from an alternate timeline.

If Marvel plans to merge Spider Man’s street level adventures with the arrival of mutants, Rachel could serve as an unexpected bridge between those worlds.

Rachel Summers [Marvel Comics]

Why the Secret Matters

Marvel has spent years trying to preserve genuine surprises in an era dominated by leaks and spoilers.

The studio has kept Sadie Sink largely absent from trailers, TV spots, and promotional materials, making her one of the few major MCU characters whose identity has remained completely unknown leading up to release.

With Brand New Day positioned as a fresh beginning for Peter Parker after the world forgot his identity, introducing a significant new character makes perfect narrative sense.

Whether that character is Gwen Stacy, an X Men icon, or someone fans have not even considered yet, Marvel clearly believes the reveal is worth protecting.

The Wait Is Almost Over

Fortunately, fans will not have to speculate much longer.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters July 31, meaning the internet’s biggest MCU mystery is only days away from being solved. Until then, every new promotional clip, including the latest bleeped out interview with Sadie Sink, is only fueling the excitement.

One thing is certain: if Marvel has gone to these lengths to keep her character secret, the reveal is likely to be one of the film’s biggest moments.

Trina Swurv performed Tacos and Tequila Festival fan reactions Trina's husband

Trina‘s husband, Swurv, reportedly performed during his wife’s set at the Taco and Tequila Festival on Saturday, July 25, in Cleveland, Ohio, and a clip of his performance and a rumored booking contract have sparked chatter online.

Trina’s Husband Swurv Performs At The Tacos And Tequila Festival

Trina performed at the Taco and Tequila Festival in Cleveland over the weekend, and she seemingly surprised her fans with a performance by her husband, Benjamin “Swurv” Kearse Jr. The rapper, whose real name is Katrina Laverne Taylor, gave Swurv the microphone during her set, and a clip of the performance is going viral.

Swurv sported a red cap with matching shorts and a white T-shirt as he delivered some verses. His on-stage energy was good, but his tone seemed flat.

A clip of the performance is making the rounds on social media, and folks are sharing their unfiltered opinions.

Performance Prompts Fans To Question If Swurv Is Included In Trina’s Booking Contract

Fans reacted after the clip was shared on TSR’s Instagram page, and several Roomies gave kudos to the couple while others joked about Swurv’s performance. One fan claimed that Swurv performing is a condition of Trina’s appearance at shows.

@Persway82 wrote, “Booking agents are saying that if you want Trina to perform… you have to let her man perform!  Aye… it’s nothing wrong with that.”

User @qua_parker replied, I know they say love is blind ion think it make you deaf too 😂😂.”

Trina and Swurv Went Viral Before

As reported by The Shade Room in May, the couple went viral during another show. At the time, Trina seemed to check her husband by grabbing his arm and pulling him away from the crowd during a live show. And fans took note online.
The artist later explained the moment on Instagram, claiming she was only making sure her man was good, not checking him.

“I was NOT checking my husband! I was making sure he was good due to an altercation that took place on stage.!! Too many ni**as with bad energy… So l made everybody back up. I’m gonna always protect mine. Stop with the false narrative and lies. Sh*t so wack,” she wrote.

Kanye “Ye” West and his Wife Bianca Censori to Divorce

Bianca Censori and Kanye West‘s marriage has recently been the subject of renewed attention following reports that the couple may be facing challenges behind the scenes.

Sources claim the Australian model has become frustrated with promises that have yet to materialize, while continuing to support her husband publicly and privately.

The reports come as Bianca Censori pursues her own professional projects and reflects on the deep bond she shares with her husband.

Censori is reportedly becoming increasingly frustrated with unfulfilled promises in her marriage to Kanye West, with sources claiming she may be reaching a breaking point.

An insider who spoke with a news outlet shared that the Aussie beauty has remained remarkably patient throughout the ups and downs of their relationship, despite repeated challenges and disappointments.

Those close to the couple reportedly believe her willingness to stand by West has been tested numerous times, and there may be limits to how much more she is willing to tolerate.

“Everyone says she’s got the patience of a saint to stay married to him, but at some point, her patience is going to run out,” the insider told Globe Magazine.

Reports have previously suggested that Censori has considered ending the relationship on more than one occasion.

However, sources claim West has often “managed to lure her back by promising her the world and insisting everything was going to change,” but “there’s only so many times she can hear the same empty promises.”

The Australian Model’s Career Ambitions Reportedly Testing Her Patience With Kanye West

When the pair first became involved, West allegedly painted an ambitious vision for Censori’s future, telling her he would help elevate her profile in the fashion world, much as he had on ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s career.

But according to insiders, those expectations have yet to fully materialize as their relationship progresses.

Several projects linked to Censori reportedly failed to generate the level of attention or success that had been anticipated, leaving her eager to see tangible progress rather than more promises.

“Bianca believed all the hype for a long time, but now she wants to see results,” the insider said.

Sources say Censori is a “lot smarter than people give her credit for” and she remains highly ambitious and is focused on building a successful career of her own.

On July 11, she hinted at an upcoming project, teasing a collaboration titled “The Very Br-ast of BIANCA” with creative platform Biuro on Instagram.

While she continues to pursue new opportunities, insiders claim she is increasingly focused on actions rather than words.

According to the source, if “Kanye lets her down again, there won’t be much left keeping Bianca in this relationship.”

The reported tension comes despite Censori’s repeated public declarations of love and support for her husband.

Earlier this summer, the Australian architect shared a rare glimpse into their relationship while celebrating West’s 49th birthday. Posting a photo of the rapper on Instagram, she accompanied it with a heartfelt message: “Happy birthday @ye. I love you more than life.”

Censori has also spoken about the depth of her relationships, explaining that she forms exceptionally strong emotional connections with the people she loves. In an interview earlier this year, she described herself as someone who “pair-bonds so intensely and so deeply that that person becomes part of me.”

“It’s only ever brought joy to my life,” she said. “I just love that person so deeply, so intensely, that I want to be around them.”

According to Censori, that bond has been a driving force throughout her marriage to West. She has remained by his side through some of the most challenging periods of his life, including his public struggles with bipolar disorder, controversies surrounding his past remarks, and intense media scrutiny of their relationship.

Still, the architect acknowledged that supporting West has not always been easy. Reflecting on difficult periods, she admitted there were times when helping him through personal challenges felt like she was “doing CPR for months.”

Despite those challenges, Censori emphasized that her commitment has never wavered. “You know, he has to go through his process in how he amends that,” she explained. “And I’m here to support and love and be with him. I love him so much. We’re like the same person.”

The couple’s relationship began after Censori joined Yeezy as an architectural designer in 2020. Following West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian, the pair married in 2022 and have remained together ever since.

Beyond their marriage, Censori has also praised West’s role as a father to the four children he shares with Kardashian: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

She described him as a creative and hands-on parent who enjoys creating imaginative experiences for his children, recalling one occasion when he transformed a room into a playful environment for them to enjoy.

“He’s a really awesome dad,” she raved. “He’s fun and will do things like almost build worlds for them. I remember one time they came over, and he made the whole room foam so they could jump on everything.”

Murphy continued his Entertainment Tonight interview by teasing a bit of the plot before returning to the cast of the upcoming season, with the reporter calling what he had previously described “like the Avengers.” According to him, “It is like the ‘Avengers.’ They all come together to defeat the ultimate evil.”

He continued, “So, it’s very fun, and as soon as I pitched it to them, many of them had said ‘no’ over the years, and they were like, ‘Well, okay, we’ve got to come back for that.” After that, he discussed Lange signing on for the season after leaving the show after the fourth season and vowing that she would never return.

Murphy shared, “But I pitched Jessica Lange, she was like, ‘Oh, sh-t, now I have to do it.” He added, “It’s all of them in one season, and it’s 13 episodes because it’s called 13.”

Toward the end of the interview, Murphy explained that he “spent many, many months and many years writing it. I wanted to do 13 in a special way. So, it’s cool. It’s fun.”

Evan Peters last appeared in “American Horror Story” during the show’s 10th season. Months after it was revealed that he’d be returning, he spoke to The Hollywood Reporter in January 2026 while promoting another Murphy show, “The Beauty.”

The 39-year-old told the outlet, “First of all, it’s working with Ryan [Murphy] again, but second of all, he’s assembled the cast from all the different seasons.”

He continued, “It’s sort of an alumni, and we’re all getting back together to do this greatest-hits season. So we’ll see what he writes and what it brings. But just the chance to be able to work with Sarah [Paulson], Jessica, Kathy [Bates], Angela [Bassett] again and everybody involved. I’m interested to see what the scenes are and how it all plays out.”

When asked if he was surprised by Lange finally agreeing to return to the series, Peters said, “Yes! Yeah, Ryan knows how to have those dinners. He will get you in a second. I was definitely shocked, but thrilled, honestly.” Season 13 of the show premieres on September 24.
