‘The Boys’ Season 5 Just Changed Everything With That Compound V Twist

Published

on

Homelander on stage in the dark as the audience looks out, his hand out to quiet them.

This article contains spoilers for Season 5, Episode 3 of ‘The Boys’.

Summary

  • Collider’s Joe Schmidt talks with showrunner Eric Kripke and star Laz Alonso about The Boys Season 5, Episode 3.
  • Kripke discusses how V1 reshapes the power struggle, pushing Homelander toward a god complex while the Boys race to secure it for their own survival.
  • Alonso also breaks down M.M.’s mindset heading into the final episodes, including his newfound freedom, his inevitable conflict with Stan Edgar, and whether anyone deserves a happy ending.

Season 5, Episode 3 of The Boys marks the moment the final season truly locks in place. What starts as a potential solution quickly becomes the most dangerous asset in the series, as V1 turns into the central object every major player is chasing. The fallout reshapes Homelander’s trajectory, raises the stakes for The Boys, and pushes characters like Mother’s Milk into entirely new territory.

Following Episode 3, Collider’s Joe Schmidt spoke with showrunner Eric Kripke and star Laz Alonso about how the latest episode ignites the series’ endgame, what V1 really means for Homelander, and why M.M. is approaching the homestretch of The Boys with nothing left to lose.

V1 Becomes The Most Dangerous Prize in ‘The Boys’ Final Season

“And I just wish he’d quit marketing the show.”

COLLIDER: In this episode, V1 is the match that lights the powder keg that explodes and changes everything. Can you talk a little bit about that?

ERIC KRIPKE: I mean, this notion that there’s this magic bullet to this virus and that it makes you immune to the virus. That’s the main thing. And so it becomes the loose football that everyone is chasing. Homelander, so then not just will he be immune, but he’ll be immortal. And this news is the news that completely sends him over the edge into thinking that he has an opportunity to become literally God, which I would have said was totally fucking insane that any leader would actually publicly proclaim themselves to be God. And then Trump released that image of himself last night. And I just wish he’d quit marketing the show. Like enough already. Like we don’t… Anyway, it would make Homelander immortal.

But then The Boys are trying to get it for a couple of reasons. One, so Homelander doesn’t. But two, they think it’s an opportunity to save Kimiko and Annie. So the rest of the season becomes the hunt for this V1.

When ‘The Boys’ Feels Too Close To Reality

“It’s upsetting.”

I interviewed Jack [Quaid] … and one of the things I asked Jack is, do you ever watch the news? And I’m going to ask you the same thing. Do you ever watch the news and just think, “Oh, shit, we just filmed something like this last year and now I’m seeing it happen in real life”?

KRIPKE: It happens all the time. And, you know, tomorrow’s episode is a perfect example. The talk about attacking the pope and presenting yourself as a God as we’re about to release an episode where Homelander thinks he’s God. I don’t know what to say about it. It’s upsetting. You know, I was sending a text, and someone last night who works on the show sent me the image. And my reply is about how I feel, which is like I just texted back: Sigh. Hard, sad, sigh. And I say that’s what I’ll say to you: hard, sad, sigh.

Karl Urban Sets the Tone for ‘The Boys’ Cast and Crew

Urban is the best “number one” Kripke has worked with.

the boys billy butcher

Totally, totally understood. So Karl’s character, Butcher, who is the lovable bastard of the show, has a really good moment with Ryan. Actually, kind of… I shouldn’t say lovable.

KRIPKE: Yeah, he is convincing him to kill himself.

A very mixed series of moments with Ryan. But Jack also said this about Karl, how he is really a good presence on set. How would you describe him going through this final season, especially knowing that this is the last time with this set of actors and this crew and this family that has been created. And also, if you can speak a little bit about his love of driving any sort of car or boat that he can, I would love that too.

KRIPKE: Yeah, that’s funny. Yeah, and I’ve told Karl this many times. So there’s a thing… Just to pull back the curtain a little bit. There’s this expectation that when you’re… The term is “number one on the call sheet,” which means that you’re the lead of the show.

You’re setting an example.

KRIPKE: In effect, right. And with number one, like I always say, number one isn’t a privilege. It’s a responsibility. Yeah, exactly. You set the tone. The crew follows your lead. The rest of the cast follows your lead. And I can say that Karl is the best number one I’ve ever worked with in that regard. Like he takes his role as a leader. So seriously in that, when the crew is down, it’s Karl who’s clapping his hands and saying, “All right, guys, come on, we can do this.” When the actors are upset, he’ll go to them and work it out. He’s remarkable and such an incredible partner beyond the fact that, obviously, he’s wildly charismatic and talented and so good at action and drama. But just from a producer standpoint, he’s a remarkable partner to have on that set because I’m in Los Angeles a lot of the time. I think one of the reasons that that set is such a loving place is because of the tone he sets. So I give him all the credit in the world for that.

And yeah, he really loves to drive shit. But he lives on the water in Australia, so he is very, very comfortable with speed boats. And so he really wanted to drive the boat into the whale, which he did and drove it in a way that I think almost murdered Jack Quaid. And every time there’s a car or a spin out or something, he’s always the first to volunteer to get behind the wheel. Even more so than Laz [Alonso], who’s also an excellent driver, like Laz was in Fast and the Furious. Laz knows how to spin out a car, but there’s something about it that Karl just loves.

Balancing Homelander’s Power and Fragility

“I think it’s honestly the partnership with Ant most of all that makes it take off.”

Antony Starr as Homelander in The Boys Season 5, Episode 3

Image via Prime Video

That’s funny. I wanted to ask you how on Homelander, you thread that line between narcissism and his desire for approval. And I have to ask how difficult that is to balance those two for a character like that.

KRIPKE: It takes a lot of conversation in the writer’s room. You’re balancing and counterbalancing things all the time and talking them through and talking them through again. But I have to tell you, Antony makes it easy. He’s so hyper aware of where Homelander is at that moment. And so he and I, once he gets the script, will have, I think, a really productive exchange of ideas. It’s never like, “I have notes.” It’s always, “Okay, cool. I see what you’re trying to do for Homelander here in the writing. But, could I play it like this?” Or, “This line feels off base for me,” and we’ll go through it line by line and really figure out how we stay on the tight wire that we’re trying to stay on to get them to that place so that he’s always carrying the balance between this autocratic, bullying, dictatorial, dangerous character and then just how desperate and weak and needy and small he is. And so, I think it’s honestly the partnership with Ant most of all that makes it take off. Just give that guy an Emmy already, for Christ’s sake.

Mother’s Milk is Fighting With Nothing Left to Lose

“I love that the juxtaposition is that M.M. is the most carefree he’s ever been.”

Let’s start off by talking about how this is the episode where it kind of blows everything open and changes the trajectory for where the show is going towards the final episodes. I want to ask you, V1 changes everything and Mother’s Milk is already in a dark place. What’s his goal now heading into these final episodes?

LAZ ALONSO: I think that M.M.’s goal now is to finish what we started. Regardless of whether or not he will live to see the end of it. There’s a freedom that M.M. has this season that he’s never had before. And that’s not having the will or the need to make it home to his family. He’s accepted that his fate will probably keep him from doing that. And while it sounds like a dark fate, he’s living life, man. This is probably the most fun he’s ever had fighting the superheroes. He’s smoking. He’s drinking. He’s hanging out with Butcher. And there’s just a freedom and a lack of needing to control every situation that I think allows him to meet the moment. With the stakes being so high this season, more than any other season, I love that the juxtaposition is that M.M. is the most carefree he’s ever been.

M.M. Inevitable Collision in ‘The Boys’ Final Season

“I think that he knows where this is going to lead.”

Stan Edgar and M.M. in 'The Boys'

Image via Prime Video

There’s a really cool scene between you and Giancarlo Esposito in [Episode 3]. And M.M. really just has this… I wouldn’t say laissez-faire, but a whole, “Well, if you’re gonna do this, I’m gonna be the one to kill you.” I really enjoyed that scene. Do you see M.M. forgiving, if it’s possible, or is he too far gone to forgive someone like Soldier Boy or even Edgar?

ALONSO: I don’t think he’ll ever be able to do that. I think that he is willing to die on his shield. And regardless of whether or not he gets to that point, that is his goal. Right now, there are two soldiers on opposite sides of the battlefield and, sure, they can meet in the middle for a cigar. But as we see at the end of that scene, they both know where they belong. Once they can make it out of this, this bunker. And that’s not teaming up and fighting together. That’s, “You go your way. I go mine. And if I see you again, one of us ain’t gonna live to tell the story.” And they accept that, and I think that that was a fair way to end that scene, considering the history that Giancarlo’s character, Stan Edgar, had with M.M.’s whole family, with his dad, this is generational. While he can play nice for the moment, I think that he knows where this is going to lead. And he’s okay with it.

‘The Boys’ Fans Finally Got The Moment They’ve Been Asking For

People have been requesting it for at least three seasons, and it’s finally a reality.

People have spoken about Eric Kripke, that he’s a very collaborative storyteller with the actors. Is there something specific that you requested for M.M. in this season going into these final episodes?

ALONSO: Yeah, man, I did. I requested… People always wanted to see Homelander and M.M. cross paths at some point because they never do, and considering M.M.’s name, they were like, “How does Homelander never come across Mother’s Milk of all people?” And so I made that request. And sure enough, he put it in there for Episode 1. So that was definitely something that we enjoyed shooting just because, literally, for at least three seasons, people have been requesting and asking for “When’s M.M. and Homelander gonna meet up?” And it lasted for a couple seconds, but it was just funny.

Does Anyone Deserve a Happy Ending in ‘The Boys’?

“But I do think that the audience would like to see somebody make it out…”

Do you think it’s possible for anyone on this team to have what looks like a happy ending? What does winning look like now?

ALONSO: I think that everyone would like a happy ending. I think that everyone on the Boys… That’s tough… That’s loaded. I don’t know if we deserve a happy ending because there is an element to having to become that which you despise in order to defeat them that we have all pretty much adopted. And there’s a level of violence that we’ve participated in that can’t just go swept under the rug. We’ve been violent too. But I do think that the audience would like to see somebody make it out, but who that’ll be is yet to be yet to be yet to be seen.

‘The White Lotus’ Star’s 10/10 Rom-Com Has Been Officially Cancelled After 1 Season

Published

on

0550278_poster_w780.jpg

2025 was packed with great television. From Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham‘s groundbreaking British breakout Adolescence, and the bittersweet genius of Andor‘s second season, to the brilliantly offbeat comedy of HBO’s The Chair Company, and one final outing for the gang in Season 5 of Stranger Things, 2025 was overwhelmed with must-see TV. Because of this reality, several great hidden gems were left under-watched in the streaming rotation, one of which has recently had its future sealed.

The show in question is Film Club, a brilliantly cozy and perfectly melancholic comedy-drama starring one of Britain’s best rising stars, Aimee Lou Wood. Following her breakout in Sex Education, Wood has stunned with several show-stealing performances, with 2025 her most impressive year yet. However, thanks to acclaimed turns in the likes of The White Lotus and Toxic Town earlier in the year, her starring turn in Film Club has fallen further under the radar. This is a particular shame for a series that deals so gently with mental health and offers an emotionally resonant blend of comedy and drama, scoring impressive critical reviews in the process.

On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, Film Club boasts a near-perfect 90% score from critics, dubbed a “subtly off-kilter, and an understated gem,” by one reviewer, with another saying that “this wonderfully nuanced series also sincerely understands the experience of feeling through cinema and feeling seen by it.” Sadly, as revealed in an exclusive new report, the BBC has chosen not to move forward with Film Club, as Wood’s series is cancelled after just one season. According to the report, “The decision was mutual,” with Wood “said to be keen to prioritize other writing, while the BBC was relaxed about moving on from the series.”

Where does your power come from?
In Sheridan’s world, everyone has leverage. The question is what kind.

02

Who do you put first, no matter what?
Loyalty in Sheridan’s universe is always absolute — and always costly.

03

Someone crosses a line. How do you respond?
Every Sheridan protagonist has a line. What matters is what happens after it’s crossed.

04

Where do you feel most in your element?
Sheridan’s worlds are as much about place as they are about people.

05

How do you feel about operating in the grey?
Nobody in a Sheridan show has clean hands. The question is how they carry the dirt.

06

What are you actually fighting to hold onto?
Every Sheridan character is fighting a war. The real question is what they’re defending.

07

How do you lead?
Authority in Sheridan’s world is never given — it’s established, maintained, and constantly tested.

Mayor of Kingstown

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.

You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

Aimee Lou Wood is Joining an Ambitious Cinematic Experience

As her stock continues to rise, Wood is sure to feature in many a big-name film and TV project to come. Perhaps the most impressive project in her filmography yet is the ambitious upcoming Beatles quadrilogy helmed by the brilliant Sam Mendes. In late October last year, it was announced that Wood, Anna Sawai, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Saoirse Ronan were joining an already stacked cast for the movies as the former Quarrymen’s love interests. It was confirmed that Wood will portray Pattie Boyd, who met George Harrison on the set of A Hard Day’s Night and later became his wife.

Film Club has been cancelled. Stay tuned to Collider for all the latest TV news.

Apple TV’s Only Sci-Fi Series With No Bad Episodes Finally Gets Season 3 Return Update

Published

on

01592806_poster_w780-1.jpg

Over the last few years, Apple TV has become one of the most important streaming services for producing high-quality sci-fi TV shows. The platform unleashed Pluribus into the world last year, and despite it being a much slower-paced, methodical show than some fans may be used to, it still shattered records on its way to becoming the most popular Apple TV sci-fi show of all time. Pluribus, which hails from creator Vince Gilligan and stars Rhea Seehorn, was renewed for Season 2, but it’s unlikely that the show will return anytime before 2028. There is another beloved Apple TV sci-fi show set to return with another season sooner than Pluribus, and while it may have lost its spot at the top of the Apple TV sci-fi hierarchy, that doesn’t mean fans aren’t anxiously anticipating its return.

All the way back in 2022, Apple TV unleashed the first season of Severance into the world, and it’s still viewed as one of the best seasons of sci-fi TV ever made. The COVID-19 pandemic and WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed the release of Severance Season 2, but the show finally returned last year with its long-awaited second season. Apple TV renewed Severance for a third season on the same day that it released the Season 2 premiere, and director Ben Stiller even promised that the wait for Season 3 would be shorter than Season 2. Severance star Adam Scott recently spoke on a red carpet interview for his new horror movie, Hokum, and he was asked if the wait for Season 3 was still going to be shorter than that of Season 2:

“We’re always trying to shorten the amount of time between seasons, but it’s more important for it to be great than for it to be fast. We’re definitely planning on getting it out much sooner than the last round, which was three years, which was too long.”

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

‘Severance’ Season 3 Is Already in a Deep Hole

While it’s refreshing to hear that Adam Scott and the rest of the Severance team are committed to bringing Season 3 to the screen in a shorter time frame, this is going to be difficult to do. It’s already been over a year since the premiere of Season 3, and reports indicate that Severance Season 3 isn’t even going to begin production for at least a few more months. It takes a long time to film a new season of Severance, meaning the gap between Seasons 2 and 3 is likely to be around 2.5 years, assuming it can even make that. Still, Scott’s comments assure the wait will be worth it.

Check out the first two seasons of Severance on Apple TV and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Season 3.

Lisa Kudrow ‘Exposes’ Bravo Over Viral ‘RHOBH’ Moment

Lisa Kudrow at NBC's 'Carol Burnett: 90 Years Of Laughter + Love' Birthday Special

Lisa Kudrow may have just called out “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for allegedly faking drama on camera. The “Friends” alum put Andy Cohen, who serves as an executive producer for multiple “Housewives” series and is the longtime host of the reunion specials, on the spot during Monday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live” after revealing she had questions about one very suspicious scene from the Bravo reality series.

The awkward exchange began after Cohen casually asked Kudrow whether she watches any of the “Housewives” franchises. “Yes [I do],” Kudrow responded before immediately warning him, “I saw the ‘Beverly Hills’ [episode], you don’t want me to discuss it. I am telling you right now.”

Kudrow then referenced a moment from “RHOBH” Season 15, Episode 15 that sparked major fan speculation online. “I am just going to say Black Mercedes, sprinter twins. I caught that, I’m sorry,” Kudrow said.

Cohen appeared caught off guard by the observation before laughing and replying, “OK, yeah.”

‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Fans Accused Italy Blowup Of Being Staged After Van Mix-Up

The scene in question involved Dorit Kemsley storming away from castmates Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne during the women’s cast trip to Italy after a heated argument.

Viewers watched Kemsley climb into the group’s SUV and tell the driver to leave without Richards and Jayne, forcing the two women to supposedly call an Uber. However, eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed what appeared to be two identical black Mercedes Sprinter vans parked near each other, leading many viewers to accuse the show of staging the dramatic exit.

Social media users immediately began dissecting the footage after the episode aired, with many claiming the transportation mishap looked suspiciously orchestrated for television. “I noticed the second van and assumed that’s for the actual crew,” one user pointed out. “So no, they weren’t ‘stranded,’ but Dorit did take their vehicle.”

Another X user wrote, “‘RHOBH’ is really so far from reality TV.” A third chimed in with, “We all saw the second car.” Others agreed with Lisa Kudrow, with one fan writing, “We are all Lisa in this moment. Andy, you really don’t want to hear what we think and feel about this season.”

Meanwhile, someone else didn’t hold back, writing, “Lisa Kudrow just EXPOSED ‘RHOBH’ live on ‘WWHL.’”

Kyle Richards Insisted Her Explosive Fallout With Dorit Kemsley Was Real

The blowout fight itself centered around tensions involving punctuality issues and ongoing relationship drama between the women. Despite fan speculation surrounding the scene, Richards later insisted the fallout with Kemsley was very real.

Ahead of the episode airing, Richards told Us Weekly that she and Kemsley had a “big blowout” because Dorit is “not open-minded.” “I didn’t think we were supposed to say, but it pretty much came out at BravoCon that Erika and I are not speaking with Dorit and vice versa, because we had a very big blowout on our cast trip,” Kyle said.

The reality TV star added, “She’s not open-minded to listening to you, and when she has something in her head, that’s it. It’s really frustrating to try to have a conversation with her. Unfortunately, we tried to fix things, and it was like two steps forward, three steps back.”

Dorit Kemsley And Kyle Richards’ Feud Continued Exploding At Reunion

The drama between Richards and Kemsley only intensified during the Season 15 reunion earlier this month. During the explosive sit-down, Kemsley accused Richards of judging her finances and trying to make her “look bad” amid her highly publicized split from estranged husband PK Kemsley. Richards later denied the allegations while admitting she was still hurt over the collapse of their friendship.

The pair’s ongoing issues reportedly worsened after Richards remained friendly with PK during the separation. Now, thanks to Kudrow’s unexpected observation on live television, fans are once again questioning just how “real” reality TV actually is.

Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is available to stream on Peacock.

Days of our Lives: Marlena’s Inheritance from Stefano Hides Dark Secret!

Published

on

Days of Our Lives: Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall) - Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo)

Days of Our Lives stuns as Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall) shocked the DiMeras when she changed her mind and abruptly showed up at Stefano DiMera‘s (Joseph Mascolo) will reading. But then Marlena didn’t even accept the chess set that the Phoenix bequeathed to her and John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

And I think that chess set is more than meets the eye. We know the late Stefano DiMera called John Black the pawn and he called Marlena of course the queen of the night. So, we have a lot to unpack about what secret might be hidden in this bequest.

The Will Reading Was Lackluster Days of Our Lives

So, after all the buildup for weeks and weeks about Stefano’s will reading, I think, you know, based on what I’m seeing on soap social media here in the comments also, fans were really let down. Because it was totally lackluster. We are in May sweeps and after all of EJ DiMera‘s (Dan Feuerriegel) plotting and planning, we got May sleeps. Because it was almost a snoozefest. We already expected that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) was going to barge in, and she did. She made her grand entrance to announce she’s not an ex-wife. She’s a widow.

And so, Gabi claimed that she’s entitled to her late husband, Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) share of Stefano’s inheritance. Gabi has a signed affidavit from Vivian Almain’s (Louise Sorel) manservant, Ivan Marais, stating that he saw Vivian personally sign the divorce papers with Stefan’s name. So, there is some proof that Gabi and Stefan were never legally divorced.

Lexie’s Return Lacked Drama on DOOL

Some of the DiMeras groused, but honestly, the reaction was kind of eh, a shrug. And of course, we all expected some huge earth-shattering thing with Lexie Carver‘s (Nikki Crawford) resurrection. You know, maybe the DiMeras are just immune to this. Because they are known for fake deaths and resurrections.

So, when she showed up and collapsed, most of the family again was like, “Oh, it’s Lexie.” You know, the biggest reaction was from nosy Leo Stark (Greg Rikkart) who wanted to write about it and of course from Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) because he ran to EJ asking can he do the same thing and bring back Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and of course EJ said that he couldn’t because it had been too long and all this. But honestly, he could have her in a person pod somewhere. We’ll see.

But the Lexie drama, to be fair, isn’t over yet because Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) just found out that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) already knew that Lexie was in the person pod. And Paulina just found out that Theo’s known for a couple of weeks that his mom was being brought back from the dead. But once Abe Carver (James Reynolds) finds out, Theo and Paulina both knew, there is more fallout coming. But other than the staff getting houses and a stipend, the will reading was honestly low drama. All of Stefano’s stuff is to be divided equally among the family.

Marlena’s Inheritance Was A Chess Set

And I think most fans thought Marlena’s inheritance from Stefano would be a much more grand bequest. Jewels, a tiara, something that hearkened back to the Queen of the Night days. And this did, but not in a big splashy way. I think Marlena knew that Stefano was taunting her, giving her a chessboard with a queen and a pawn among the pieces.

And it was meant for her and John both. So, Stefano thought that they would both survive him. That’s clear. So it wasn’t just a message for Marlena, but also for her late husband John. And by refusing to keep Stefano’s bequest, Marlena lost the chance to explore what was in that box. She gave it back to Theo and Marlena said, “Thanks, no thanks.” And then she up and walked out. She felt like, “Okay, I’m done with Stefano. That’s my closure.”

Days of our Lives: Other DiMeras Start Poking Around?

I think Theo or one of the other DiMeras, maybe EJ, maybe Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), may start poking around into the chess set and discover something hidden within Marlena’s gift. Now, first off, right away, there could be a hidden compartment. The chess set isn’t only symbolic of Marlena and John’s past with Stefano on Days of our Lives.

There could be more to it. You know, there might be a real treasure in there or some sort of mystery or a secret. So, it could be Marlena’s gift contains a secret hidey-hole in the box or in one of the pieces. If Stefano was going to hide something, I bet he would conceal it inside the queen since Marlena was his queen of the night, at least in Stefano’s mind.

There Could Be Something Hidden In The Chess Set on Days

So, there could be something in there, something small like maybe a flash drive or, you know, a photo card. What do you call those little things? A little tiny memory. Those things are teeny tiny now, like pinky nail size. Or there could be a note rolled up and pushed inside it. There could even be a couple of things. One thing hidden in the queen and another thing to go with it hidden inside the little pawn piece.

But because Marlena walked away from the box and left it, somebody else might find whatever Stefano meant for her and John’s eyes only. So, it could be that Marlena’s former rival, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), decides to check out the chess set and she discovers something hidden. We know Kristen was hot for John and so she might be curious about what her dad left.

Days of Our Lives: Marlena Evans – Stefano DiMera

Days of our Lives: Stefano Playing Mind Games?

It could also be that Stefano meant the chess set as a form of psychological warfare from beyond the grave. And it may contain a secret that he wanted Marlena and John alone to know. You know, could be something that Stefano thought he could only trust Marlena with.

And don’t forget, Stefano was a master manipulator. He loved to play mind games, not just with his enemies, but also with his own family. And of course, the box startled Marlena when it revealed the queen and the pawn because Stefano tormented her and John for decades.

And somewhere hidden within the box could be a clue revealing a secret tied to Stefano and Marlena’s twisted past, maybe tied to something Stefano did to her when she was gaslit and manipulated and she doesn’t have clear memories. You know, could be information about a secret love child or a cloned embryo.

There’s been some hints recently that maybe Stefano and Marlena had a child together she doesn’t know about. Of course, that would prompt the question, who. Is there going to be a new DiMera showing up in Salem? It could be somebody already on the canvas like Chad who was born during the period where Stefano was kidnapping Marlena all the time. So she could have had a kid, Chad or somebody else.

The Chess Set Could Be Part Of A Long Revenge Game

Finally, the chess game that he left Marlena could signify some sort of proxy power play and some long revenge game that Stefano was plotting against Marlena and John and their family. Now that she refused the bequest, you know, Marlena may think she’s finally free from Stefano and all the things he tried to do, but he may have been one step ahead of her and anticipated that Marlena would refuse his gift because that seems obvious.

The box may have been bait and Stefano might have known she would refuse it and that it’d be left behind with his family. There could be some bizarre post-mortem contingency plan that Stefano set up to pull Marlena into DiMera family drama. You know, she may have to be the reluctant queen who has to play one more game to protect Salem from Stefano’s final scheme because it feels like there should be a final scheme, right?

I definitely feel like the Phoenix may have something up his dead evil sleeve when it comes to his queen of the night and the man, the pawn, all that. Given how lackluster the will reading was and really to me just totally anticlimactic, it feels like there may be another shoe to drop where Stefano is concerned.

Demi Moore Slammed After AI Comment At Cannes

Demi Moore on the 2025 Oscars red carpet

Actress Demi Moore is one of several notable figures to attend the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. However, while attending, the “I Love Boosters” star sparked controversy by making what has been called a vailed advertisment for artificial intelligence.

This comes after Reese Witherspoon‘s recent controversy, in which she was accused of encouraging others to learn about AI while potentially profiting from it.

Moore took part in the Cannes Film Festival jury press conference on May 12. During it, per Variety, she was asked about her opinions on artificial intelligence and how the movie industry is and could be impacted by it. She began, “Wow, that’s a big question.”

Moore continued, “I think the reality is that to resist — I always feel that against-ness breeds against-ness. AI is here. And so to fight it is to fight something that is a battle that we will lose.”

She added, “So to find ways in which we can work with it, I think, is a more valuable path to take.” The actress then said, “To your question of, are we doing enough to protect ourselves? I don’t know the answer to that. And so my inclination would be to say probably not.”

Moore Says There’s A Beauty To AI

Moore continued her discussion of AI and its impact on Hollywood. Specifically, she noted that “there’s beautiful aspects to being able to utilize” it as a tool. However, she acknowledged that the technology has its limits.

According to her, “The truth is there really isn’t anything to fear because what it can never replace is what true art comes from, which is not the physical, it comes from the soul. It comes from the spirit of each and every one of us sitting here, to each and every one of us who creates every day.”

She added, “And that they can never recreate through something that is technical.”

Fans Aren’t Taking Kindly To The ‘Substance’ Star’s AI Sentiments

Following Moore’s remarks about finding ways to work with AI that went viral, she’s receiving considerable backlash on social media. One person reacted, “What a dumb argument. Just because Demi Moore is here, it doesn’t mean directors need to cast her.”

Someone else said, “She sounds like an investor, not an artist. Entirely out of touch with technology and art. 90s movie stars had it easy and became rich and retreated from caring about the sustainability of the business they helped fuck up.”

A different social media user stated, “Every celebrity that comes out and says this shit is probably investing in it.”

After that, another fan offered a prediction. They said, “Aging actors who know their roles are drying up are going to embrace this idea (after the pitch meeting) of selling their digital likeness to AI so they can continue to make money into retirement. They have no other choice but to screw the rest of the industry.”

Lastly, another concerned social media user wrote, “Gross – ‘againstness breeds againstness’? No, if you stop using AI, block data centers from being built, and make anti-AI regulations, then the slop does in fact go away! I only hear older people afraid of being “left behind” and AI shills using this type of language, by the way.”

Demi Moore Also Advocated For Free Speech

There’s been discussion in Hollywood about whether filmmakers should shy away from expressing political beliefs. This comes as some wonder whether outspoken actors and filmmakers distract from the movies themselves.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Moore was asked about this while at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. In response, she said, “I think part of art is about expression, so if we start censoring ourselves, then we shut down the very core of our creativity, which is, I think, where we can discover truth and answers.”

Moore’s comments at Cannes 2026 come ahead of the release of her new film, “I Love Boosters.” Written and directed by Boots Riley, the comedy-adventure film will be released in theaters on May 22. In addition to Moore, it stars Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Page, Poppy Liu, and more.

Ahead of its release, “I Love Boosters” garnered impressive early reviews. It currently sits at a stellar 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 35 reviews. In the movie, Moore portrays a fashion maven who becomes the target of a group of shoplifters, also known as “boosters.”

BTG Spoilers: Derek Suspects Grayson

Meanwhile, Ted chewed Dana ‘Leslie’  Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) out for the way she treated Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) and told her to do better. I doubt she will. I doubt she can. Dana wants to celebrate Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle) birthday, but Ted has Cotillion. And Dana insists it has to happen tonight.

And then she goes and lectures Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) because Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) complained that Derek wouldn’t let Grayson Perez (Jordie Vilasuso) volunteer at the clinic. Derek said Grayson is dodgy and shouldn’t be at the free clinic. Dana said Derek’s making her look like a fool. And he clapped back she does that herself.

But he does go over to Garland then ends up running into an upset Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) who says Grayson’s not who she thought. Ashley tells him that they broke up and that Derek was right about Grayson. And Derek poked around for more information, but Ashley won’t give details.

And then Naomi showed up and when they were alone, she warned her that Dr. Lia Whitmore is dangerous. Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) tells June about Francesca Belleclaire (Madison Alsobrook) hassling her about Cotillion, and her mom encourages her and is very supportive. And then Samantha asks Eva if she will also do June’s (Jasmine Burke) hair for Cotillion. And of course, she says yes.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Anita Dupree Celebrates

Dana shows up and tells Eva they are celebrating her birthday early. And Dana nags until Eva agrees. Ted, Andre, and Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe) play hoops. Then Ted eats with Izaiah. And he invites him over to Eva’s birthday tonight. And Izaiah says, “Oh, Eva and I already have plans tonight,” but then he offers to cook for all four of them, including Dana and Ted.

Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) cancer battle is not done, but her chemotherapy with the awful Red Devil is. Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) is there at her side, and Anita’s happy to see Nicole and Dani are also there for a milestone moment when she walks out of her last chemo session. Ashley tells Anita what the bell represents and then Anita rings it to celebrate the end of her chemo and then goes home to celebrate with the family. Andre joins them and they toast to her progress and her continued improving health.

Bradley ‘Smitty’ Smith (Mike Manning) looks into Dr. Lia Whitmore, finds some information and then messages somebody. Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller) joins them to gripe to Smitty and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) about Jessica going to another college and his dad’s grounding him, and they talked to Tyrell about trust and he insists he will wrap it up when he hooks up with Jessica.

Tuesday, May 12th on BTG: Smitty Takes a Closer Look

Tuesday, May 12th on Beyond the Gates is season 2, episode 86. Joey now knows, thanks to Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry), that Smitty’s looking into the plasma ring, and Joey confronts the investigative journalist. So, will he threaten Smitty? Maybe with Martin. We’ll see.

Naomi shares more with Ashley about what Jacob told her about Dr. Lia Whitmore. And Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) finds out the other lawyer in Madison Montgomery (Kenjah McNeil) malpractice case is a jerk he knows from the past.

Chelsea and Madison are at Orphe Genes on Tuesday when some guy approaches and he seems to be antagonizing Madison and he’s shooting video. Chelsea tells him, “Get the hell out of my face.” And she slaps the phone out of the guy’s hand. And Police Chief Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) is there and tells both sides, “Back up. Sit down.” Also, Nicole and Carlton have more sexy time together, but will she keep fantasizing about Ted?

Wednesday, May 13th on Beyond the Gates: Vanessa Offers Advice

Wednesday, May 13th, is season 2, episode 87 of Beyond the Gates, and Smitty gets together with Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) to talk about Lynette’s disappearance. I’m still wondering if Haley Lawson (Marquita Goings) con-woman ex-bestie’s disappearance is tied to the red market ring. We could find out Randy handed her over to the drainers to just leave her a husk, take her plasma, take her life.

Things are said between Eva and Izaiah that cannot be undone. Is it something said in anger or do they swap I love yous and wouldn’t it be awful if it happened in front of Dana and Ted? Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) offers advice to a friend who’s struggling with something from her past. Maybe this is Nicole talking to her about fantasizing about Ted while in bed with Carlton. Chelsea has to cope with a crisis, but luckily she has help from her mom Dani, her cousin Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad), her big sister Naomi, and also her dad, Bill.

BTG Spoilers for Thursday, May 14th: Anita learns What’s Next

Thursday, May 14th on Beyond the Gates is season 2, episode 88. Vernon’s with Anita as she talks to her oncologist about what is next for her and it may be time for radiation. I don’t think she’s had surgery yet. I think they’re going to do all that.

Anastasia Belleclaire (Timeca Seretti) and Francesca of course nasty about Cotillion as expected and they’re bullying Samantha, but Nicole steps up for her granddaughter and she lays into the DMV snobs. Randy is hard hit by something Mona Wilson (Karan Kendrick) says to him. She’s been trying to drag Randy to Jesus and to church and told him sinners are welcome.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Joey in Trouble with Vanessa

Donnell McBride (Alex Cheeks) is really hard hit by a gesture somebody makes. Maybe from his mom, Vanessa. It’d be wild if it was Joey, though. You know, if he made some fatherly gesture since Donnell’s own dad is dead, it would be ironic since Joey’s the one who had Doug killed. And Joey is in trouble with Vanessa on Thursday. She may find out he threatened Smitty or maybe something about the Donnell situation.

Friday, May 15th on BTG: Grayson Must Make a Choice

Friday, May 15th is season 2, episode 89 of Beyond the Gates, and we’ve got Grayson Perez (Jordie Vilasuso) hit with an ultimatum and a threat that basically he could be killed over this. It’s a total life and death thing. Also, this week up at Garland Memorial, he gripes at Ashley and tells her, “Don’t be such a bitch.” And then she slaps the crap out of him as Dr. Whitmore looks on.

And I wonder if Grayson is doing this to get Ashley off Dr. Whitmore’s radar. I wonder if he’s talked to her first and told Ashley, “Slap me in the face. Act like you hate me.” Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) has questions for Dr. Whitmore on Friday. Now, we know Marcel’s a dirty cop, but how dirty is he? Is Dr. Whitmore paying him off? We know Marcel’s on Joey’s payroll, so maybe he’s on hers, too, since Dr. Whitmore and Joey are in this red market thing together.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Family Lines Drawn?

Ted wants help from Shanice’s aunt Monica and is looking for a way to repair things with Shanice. Eva is there to support Samantha, but her brother Tyrell makes Samantha cry. Are those angry tears or happy tears? And also, does that mean that Eva is going to wind up at Cotillion? And if she does, is horrible loopy Dana also going to wind up with a ticket to Cotillion?

That would be terrible, but not unexpected. Smitty and Jacob talk about the plasma ring operation and they think it’s about to close up shop and I wonder if that’s because the heat is on or maybe they got more info from Grayson to point them to the leaders and they’re getting ready to make a big old bust.

Kim Zolciak’s Boyfriend’s Ex Slams Spending in $100M Divorce

Published

on

GettyImages-679806960 Kim Zolciak Met Boyfriend Through Friend Who Was Dating Him

Kim Zolciak’s boyfriend Kyle Mowitz’s estranged wife, Jillian M. Green, has accused him of funding an “extravagant, if not obscene lifestyle” with the Bravo star.

Court documents filed on May 1, and obtained by Us Weekly on Monday, May 11, center around Green’s opposition to a private financial trust that Mowitz allegedly set up prior to initiating a potential “$100 million+ divorce” battle. (Mowitz filed for divorce in March 2025 — nearly two years after Zolciak, 47, started divorce proceedings against her own estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, in May 2023.)

At the heart of the latest filing is Green requesting a financial judgment to pay $640,000 in legal expenses, plus an additional $250,000 that she expects to incur if the case goes to trial. Her lawyers allege that Green has been unfairly blocked from accessing a financial trust while her husband has used it to fund “an extraordinarily lavish life for himself and his celebrity girlfriend, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and even for Ms. Zolciak-Biermann’s children.”

“Indeed, the week before the preliminary hearing, [Mowitz] and his girlfriend spent a week at an expensive Bahamas resort, where they spent tens of thousands on the resort, dining and gambling,” the motion alleges.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak met her boyfriend, Kyle Mowitz, though a girlfriend who also dated him, according to Mowitz’s estranged wife, Jillian Green, Us Weekly can exclusively report. On Thursday, November 13, Green responded to Zolciak’s attempts to avoid being deposed as part of Green and Mowitz’s bitter divorce battle. In […]

Green’s attorneys claim that “very little of [Mowitz’s] apparent vast wealth has gone to his wife or to his children” since he filed for divorce. Instead, they allege that he has funneled his money to make high-dollar purchases, such as “cases of fine wines totaling six figures,” vacations for “Ms. Zolciak-Biermann and her family” and “multiple dinners” costing thousands of dollars each. (Green and Mowitz share two children.)

“While [Mowitz] gave the Court the impression he was using the Trust funds to support his family, he neglected to mention that the ‘family’ he was mainly supporting was his girlfriend and her family, rather than Wife and their two children,” she alleges.

In the court documents, Green’s attorneys listed a series of expenses that Mowtiz allegedly incurred on behalf of Zolciack, including “her attorneys’ fees (incurred in her own acrimonious divorce),” a divorce mediator, her rent and household items, “expensive” shoes and clothes, gambling money, “her children and their dates,” and “extensive personal and psychic maintenance,” including sessions with medium and grooming costs such as “lashes, hair stylists [and] nails.”

Green’s legal team is asking a judge to essentially “level the playing field” by granting a financial judgment if a settlement cannot be reached.

“[Mowitz] has unlimited funds — namely, the deep pockets of the Trust — to financially control the course of this litigation, continue to ‘defend’ the Trust where almost all marital property is located, and at the same time pay for his extraordinarily lavish lifestyle with Ms. Zolciak-Biermann,” her lawyers argued. “Unless the Court levels the playing field, Husband’s financial superiority may also weight the outcome, and that would be an anathema to the fairness, equities, and justice this process requires.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Mowitz for comment. Zolciak’s spokesperson declined to comment.

Zolciak confirmed her relationship with Mowitz in October 2025 and exclusively told Us one month later that they’d bonded partially because both have been going through contentious divorces. (Aside from their romantic relationship, Zolciak and Mowitz are business partners.)

“I never saw myself with anybody else. It was about two years after I filed that I met Kyle, and he went through a very similar situation as me,” Zolciak told Us in November 2025. “We’re both fighting, going through divorces, and I think we connect really deeply on that level, sharing the same experience. And yeah, he’s great.”

Zolciak is still in the middle of her own messy divorce and custody battle with ex Biermann, 40. They share four minor children — Kroy Jr., 14, Kash, 13, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12 — as well as daughters Brielle, 29, and Ariana, 24, whom Biermann legally adopted in 2013.

In April, Biermann gained temporary primary physical custody of the four minor children, allowing him approval over educational, non-emergency medical and religious decisions, according to court documents obtained by Us.

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak was pulled into a Georgia couple’s $100 million divorce battle in September 2025. Us Weekly obtained court documents showing that Jillian Green requested Zolciak appear in court to explain gifts allegedly bought for her by Green’s estranged husband, Kyle Mowitz. Green asked the court to compel Zolciak […]

“The senior judge’s decision from April 29 is temporary until we return to court as soon as possible when we will have the opportunity for a full hearing,” Zolciak told Us in a statement.

She went on, “The new order was the result of an alleged emergency motion filed by Kroy to ensure the matter was heard by a senior judge instead of our duly elected assigned judge, who has never granted Kroy an immediate hearing despite him filing three separate (false) motions against me.”

“The decision rendered by the senior judge was largely the result of a flawed investigation by a guardian ad litem who has not spoken to me in over a year (until a brief call with me and my attorney on April 28), or my boys since April of 2025 aside from a brief 15 minute meeting in July of 2025,” she concluded.

Eminem’s Ex Back in Spotlight After Crash Scandal

Published

Eminem signing autograph

Kimberly Mathers is back in the headlines after a troubling incident involving an alleged drunk driving crash in Michigan.

The former wife of rapper Eminem reportedly crashed her white Range Rover into a parked truck while her son and several teenagers were inside the SUV.

The latest legal drama has sparked renewed concern about Mathers’ personal struggles and chaotic history tied to public controversy.

Kim Mathers, 51, recently appeared in court after pleading no contest in connection to the February 16 incident that reportedly unfolded near her home in Michigan.

According to TMZ, Mathers was driving her white Range Rover with her son Parker and three of his friends in the vehicle when the SUV allegedly slammed into a parked Dodge Ram truck.

Per Click on Detroit, officials claimed the impact was so strong that the truck was pushed roughly 50 feet from its original parking position.

Mathers was later charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify herself after allegedly causing property damage.

The incident quickly gained attention online after her latest mugshot surfaced and bodycam footage from the scene began circulating.

The footage reportedly showed Mathers speaking with officers outside her home after the collision. During the conversation, she claimed another driver had caused the situation.

According to police footage, Mathers told officers that a driver in a “little blue car” suddenly swerved into her lane, leaving her with “no choice” but to veer into a pickup truck beside her.

“I didn’t see the pickup truck, but I felt the impact and my car felt the impact,” Mathers told police.

Eminem’s Former Partner Denied Drinking At First

As officers continued questioning her, Kimberly Mathers reportedly denied being under the influence.

When police asked whether she had consumed alcohol or narcotics, she allegedly responded, “No.”

However, officers reportedly noticed damage extending beyond the initial crash scene.

Police pointed out that her vehicle had also struck her own garage door after she returned home.

Mathers then reportedly explained that chaos inside the SUV contributed to the accident.

She told officers the children inside the vehicle were “screaming and yelling” because they believed someone was following them.

Later in the interaction, officers again asked Mathers about alcohol consumption.

This time, she admitted, “An hour, two hours, maybe three hours ago.”

Police reportedly searched the vehicle after requesting insurance information and allegedly discovered alcohol inside the SUV.

In another section of the bodycam footage, Mathers appeared wearing a hooded zip-up sweater while participating in a preliminary breath test administered by officers at the scene.

After blowing into the testing device, she was handcuffed and reportedly asked officers to contact her family.

The legal situation became even messier after additional details about the alleged crash surfaced.

Reports claimed Mathers struck another object while pulling into her driveway after the initial collision. Authorities alleged she failed to stop before crashing into her garage door.

Photos later obtained by TMZ reportedly showed heavy damage to the white Range Rover days after the incident.

The garage door appeared partially collapsed, while the SUV reportedly showed a smashed passenger-side headlight and major bumper damage.

It remains unclear which collision caused most of the visible destruction to the vehicle.

Eminem And Kimberly Mathers Shared Years Of Public Turmoil

Long before this latest controversy, Kimberly Mathers and Eminem had one of the most talked-about relationships in entertainment.

The pair first met in 1987 before eventually beginning a romance that became deeply intertwined with Eminem’s rise to fame.

They married for the first time in 1999, but the relationship quickly unraveled. The former couple divorced in 2001 before briefly reconciling and remarrying in 2006.

Their second marriage also ended the same year.

Throughout the years, Eminem frequently referenced their turbulent relationship in his music, turning their personal struggles into some of his most widely discussed lyrics.

Despite the public drama, the former couple also built a family together. In 1995, they welcomed daughter Hailie Jade, who has since become a public figure herself.

Mathers later welcomed son Parker with another partner and also had Stevie Laine Scott during her relationship break from Eminem.

The rapper also adopted Alaina Marie Scott, the daughter of Mathers’ sister Dawn Scott.

Dawn struggled publicly with drug addiction for years before her death in 2016.

Over time, Eminem often spoke about the importance of fatherhood despite the instability that surrounded parts of his personal life and marriage history.

Now, with Kimberly Mathers once again facing legal trouble, public attention has shifted back toward the difficult history tied to one of hip-hop’s most famous former couples.
