Travis Kelce Breaks Silence On ‘Crazy’ Taylor Swift Wedding

Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Are Engaged

Travis Kelce has finally opened up about marrying Taylor Swift, describing their star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding as the “best night” of his life. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end addressed the July 3 celebration during his first training camp press conference since the couple tied the knot in New York City. Although Kelce shared a few details about the “crazy” night and explained why Madison Square Garden was personally meaningful to him, he quickly shifted the conversation back to football as he prepares for his 14th NFL season.

Kelce began by acknowledging that his offseason looked considerably different following his marriage to the music superstar. “It was a fun offseason, man, wedding was the best night of my life and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he said, per Daily Mail.

The three-time Super Bowl champion did not reveal many private details about the ceremony or reception, but made it clear that the night was filled with celebration. “That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration. But it’s football, baby,” Kelce added.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce married on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City after keeping many of their wedding plans private. The couple wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture looks designed by Jonathan Anderson, along with shoes created by Christian Louboutin. Swift completed her bridal look with Cartier jewelry.

The ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler, who previously worked with Kelce on “Happy Gilmore 2.” Rather than having traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, Swift chose her younger brother, Austin Swift, as her man of honor, while Jason Kelce served as his brother’s best man.

The venue announced the marriage by displaying “JUST&T MARRIED” on its marquee after the ceremony. Despite the enormous public interest surrounding Taylor Swift’s wedding, the couple largely kept the celebration away from cameras, with guests reportedly prohibited from using their phones inside the arena.

The Madison Square Garden wedding marked the culmination of a relationship that began in 2023 after Kelce publicly revealed that he had attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet containing his phone number during her “Eras Tour.” The pair announced their engagement in August 2025.

Madison Square Garden Fulfilled Kelce’s Childhood Dream

For Kelce, the legendary New York City arena carried significance beyond its ability to host their high-profile celebration. The athlete revealed that he had long hoped to attend a New York Knicks playoff game at Madison Square Garden. Swift made it to one without him while he was busy with the Chiefs, leaving Kelce waiting for his own chance to experience the venue.

“MSG, man. You know, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking,” he explained. “Then my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then.”

Marrying Swift ultimately gave Kelce a much bigger reason to step inside the arena. “So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there,” he continued.

The couple managed to keep the event largely private despite its massive scale and the public attention surrounding their relationship. “I can’t thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect,” Kelce said. “And the AC was perfect, man, that’s the best part.”

Kelce’s wedding remarks came as the Chiefs prepared to begin their preseason schedule against the Los Angeles Rams on August 15. The new season carries added pressure after Kansas City finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014, ending a run of 10 consecutive postseason appearances.

Kelce also enters his 14th season hoping to improve upon a year that fell below the lofty standard he established during the Chiefs’ dominant run. He described the team’s training camp base in St. Joseph, Missouri, as an important place for both his career and personal development.

“It’s always going to be my sanctuary. I think St Joe’s has got a special place in my heart,” Kelce said. “A time that, you know, you need to have these days. You need to have this time of grinding with the guys, being around them all day, every day, starting to create that chemistry and that standard of how we’re going to do things.”

The tight end believes the intensity has increased as the Chiefs attempt to recover from their disappointing season. “This season is ramped up even more, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and man, it feels good to have the leaders out there, all feeling the same thing,” he shared.

Travis Kelce Wants To Prove He Can Still Play At A High Level

Although questions about Kelce’s future continue to follow him, the veteran insisted that his passion for football has not disappeared. “You know, I still got a lot of love for this game. I still think I can go out there and play at a high level, and I want to go out there and prove myself that I can play at a better level than I did last year,” he said.

Kelce explained that personal accountability has become one of his biggest priorities as he enters another season. “I think that’s probably the biggest thing for me, is making sure that I’m accountable for the guys in this room and every single play that I’m out there,” he continued.

His role has changed considerably since he arrived in Kansas City as a young player simply hoping to earn a roster spot. “Year 1 I was just trying to make the team, I guess, so this year not only making the team but trying to figure out how I can bring guys along with me and show them how to play championship football,” Kelce explained. “I think that’s a big thing.”

He also wants to appreciate the remaining opportunities he has with the people who helped build the Chiefs’ winning culture. “And then be able to just enjoy these moments with the guys I built this culture with. Coach Reid, and guys like Pat and Chris Jones, George and everybody,” Kelce said.

Young and Restless Early Spoilers Aug 17-21: Sharon Saves the Day as Billy Spirals Out

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoiler: Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) - Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)

Young and the Restless early weekly spoilers for the week starting August 17th excite with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) riding to the rescue as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) circles the drain and does something horrible.

Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is doing what he always does, gets fixated and stresses everybody out. He is about to unravel spectacularly. Also, the week of August 17th through the 21st, we’ve got Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) back from Italy.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is getting flirty. There’s big changes at Winters and lots lots more. And as we always do on early edition day, we’re going to go over what’s happening the rest of this week and then we get into what is coming next week. So, let’s jump right in.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Tells Jack about Billy

On Wednesday, August 12th on Young and the Restless, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) promises Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) that things are going to be good from now on and that she’ll never lose him. And Devon is really energized by his new plan to start this liberal arts college. Meanwhile, Abby is excited to see Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

They come into Society and she insists she treat them. She’s asking how it’s going. Jack says his recovery is going well. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) also chats them up and reveals that he hired Billy. Turns out Diane knew, but she didn’t tell Jack. And he’s upset that this was kept from him.

But then Cane says Billy is fixated on a wild goose chase at Chancellor and warns Jack that if Billy doesn’t stop, Cane may have to fire Billy right after he started. So, Diane thinks Billy’s fixated again and it’s like a drug. And Jack tells Diane that Nick’s out of rehab but missing. And Diane asked if he heard that from Nikki.

Jack says yes, because she asked him to be Nick’s sponsor. Now, Diane’s not happy that Jack’s so close to Nikki again. But Jack insists she and Victor are reunited. They’re off traveling and Diane’s his best friend. So, she thinks Nikki’s crazy to take Victor back. And they are hoping the best for Nick.

Y&R Spoilers: Lily Supports the Men in Her Life

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) tells Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) he’s looking at a new procedure that might restore his hand. That way he can be a surgeon again. Nate worries about ditching her at Winters with Devon also leaving, but Lily says, “No, you go do that or I’ll fire you.”

And she says she can run Winters and Cane can keep running Chancellor for her. Devon comes to see Nate over at his place and he fills Devon in on the chance that he may get to be a surgeon again. And Devon has lots of regrets because he’s the reason Nate ended his medical career. He ended it for him, basically. Devon and Nate encourage each other. They hug it out. It’s all bygones.

And then Nate says that Lily’s fine with it, so he’s going for it. Meanwhile, Lily fills in Cane on Devon leaving Winters and Nate trying to go back to being a surgeon. Cane wants to know if she wants Chancellor back and Lily’s impressed he offered, but she wants to run Winters herself and leave Chancellor in Cane’s capable hands.

Young and Restless: Addiction, Obsession, and Family Crisis

Nick has sex with Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) in his ratty motel room while they are both high. And Nick’s ready to walk out. He writes Marie a note, a note about, “I hope you get the help you need.” Something like that. But then he notices she’s not moving. She is overdosed. So Nick does CPR and she wakes up. Marie begs Nick not to do it, but he calls 911, does it anyway. Paramedics show up and they take Marie away. And then Nick’s lying in bed alone crying. He just feels so gross. And he finally calls Sharon and tells her that he’s doing really badly. And then Nick asked Sharon to please come get him.

Thursday, August 13th on Young and the Restless. Kyle and Jack hear a secret from Billy. He may be telling them about Jill’s secret that he’s chasing and what he’s digging into at Chancellor. Then again, Billy might blab about Newman Media and Adam going behind Victor’s back. And we may see Jack asking Billy questions based on what Cane had told him.

Nikki and Victor are traveling in Italy, but it looks like they abruptly end their trip. And Nikki and Victor are home early this week and it’s about their son because the two of them are discussing how worried they are about Nick. The good news is that Sharon’s on the way to get him and it looks like Nick may be back in rehab by the end of the week. That sex and drug bender might have scared him straight. I’m curious to see if he tells Sharon that he had sex with some random druggy woman.

Y&R Spoilers: Billy’s Unraveling

Then on Friday, August 14th, on Young and the Restless, Billy makes things difficult for Lily and Cane. And of course, Billy’s coming between them. And I’m guessing it’s about his fixation on this Jill secret and digging into Chancellor’s archives. Cane might be seeing that Lily was right. And he never should have hired Billy. Remember, Lily didn’t even want Cane to make him the offer. Now, there’s already issues with Billy, and that’s why Cane told Jack he might have to fire him. And that’s right after he started at Chancellor. And if Cane lets Billy go abruptly, that’ll probably send him off the deep end.

This week, we’ve got Sharon over at the new ranch. She’s talking to Nikki and Victoria. So, I suspect Sharon is telling them that Nick reached out to her and asked for help, and she took him back to rehab because he relapsed and hit rock bottom at last. Nikki is hiding her true feelings, trying to keep up a brave front. Of course, she is worried sick about Nick. And terribly, Nikki still blames herself for Nick’s addiction simply because Nikki’s got the addiction gene, and she feels like she passed all these problems on to Nick and that she set a bad example, but it’s not Nikki’s fault that Nick’s an addict.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Adam & Chelsea Talk Things Out

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) rehash the past. And I think this is all back to them struggling with all the Newman drama. And of course, both Adam and Chelsea are really worried about Nick and also about where they go from here because both of them are really annoyed with Victor and Chelsea and Adam are tired of being under his thumb.

If Victor comes back from Italy and goes in hot against Adam, this might be a breaking point for him and Chelsea. Also, I’m curious to see if Victor returns still intent on the vendetta and going after Billy, which means going after Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). So, maybe there’s a miracle. Maybe Nick hitting rock bottom will make Victor finally stop what he’s doing and change his ways. But I won’t hold my breath.

Then the week of August 17th through the 21st on The Young and the Restless, we may be seeing more of Marie because Jade Harlow was cast in a recurring role and she’s had like two maybe three episodes at this point. So, I do suspect we might see her at rehab with Nick. And if so, Sharon may be stunned to see this woman in Nick’s life. And of course, Marie’s married, but her marriage is fractured and she just cheated with Nick. So, we’ll see.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Danny Romances Christine

Danny Romalotti (Michael Damson) surprises Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) with a new love song very soon, and we’re going to be seeing more of them at the Shadow Room. Billy is playing with fire and he’s making terrible decisions. And at this point, he’s so close to losing Sally, which means he won’t be there for their baby. And I don’t know what’s going to stop Billy. He’s as bad as Victor in his own way.

Lily and Cain keep moving forward with their renewed relationship. And hopefully Billy doesn’t make things worse for them. Chelsea and Adam are stressing over both Sally and Nick. They’re worried about them both. And Victor is making things hard on Chelsea and Adam. So, we may see them making a big decision soon to just break away from all the drama that comes with being around Victor. And we may see Victoria and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sparking.

And we may get a kiss the week of August 17th through the 21st after the almost kiss we got with Victoria and Kyle. This week, Matt and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) keep getting deeper involved. Everybody hates it, and she’s going to be parading Matt around at this Shadow Room soon, and I expect Christine and Danny to be completely horrified. Also, expect more with Mariah soon.

Your work wardrobe is about to get a seriously luxurious upgrade. Silk blouses are having a rich-mom fashion moment, and we can see why: The polished fabric instantly makes workwear look more expensive, whether you’re pairing a classic button-down with tailored trousers, tucking a feminine blouse into a pencil skirt or dressing up your favorite office-ready jeans with a more polished tee. Silk blouses are the kind of wardrobe staple that can take you from the morning commute to happy hour without requiring a full outfit change.

Even better, silk blouses aren’t just a summer trend. Their lightweight feel makes them ideal for warm-weather offices, and the timeless silhouettes can easily transition into your fall work wardrobe with the addition of a blazer, cardigan or sleek trousers. We found silk and silk-blend options from Quince, Amazon, Nordstrom, Free People and Abercrombie, so you can bring a little quiet-luxury energy to your 9-to-5 rotation without necessarily spending a fortune.

Silk Blouses for Your Summer-to-Fall Work Wardrobe

1. Silky Under-$30 Find: A polished base layer can do wonders for your work wardrobe, and this under-$30 satin tank is an easy one to add to the rotation. The mock neckline feels sophisticated, while subtle ruching creates a flattering drape. Style it beneath a blazer for the office or let it shine on its own after hours.

2. Polka-Dot Polish: Proof that office dressing doesn’t have to be boring! This mocha silk blouse is sprinkled with white polka dots for a playful twist on a classic workwear staple. Ruched puff sleeves and pearlescent buttons add feminine flair, and adjustable cuffs let you customize the fit.

3. Effortless Draping: The secret to making a silk blouse feel easy? A relaxed dolman sleeve. Crafted from 90% mulberry silk with a hint of spandex for stretch, this V-neck style features a pleated neckline and front placket that lend just enough structure for the office. The chocolate-plum hue is especially chic for transitioning into fall.

4. After-Hours Luxe: Consider this your excuse to rethink the traditional work-to-dinner outfit. This 100% mulberry silk halter has a high mock neckline and drapey fit that looks sophisticated tucked into tailored pants or a sleek midi skirt. The high-shine satin finish gives it that unmistakable quiet-luxury glow.

5. Classic Button-Down: Some pieces simply never go out of style, and a silky collared button-down is at the top of that list. This 100% mulberry silk shirt has a glossy finish, softly tailored three-quarter sleeves and an effortlessly graceful drape. The vintage-pink shade makes it an especially pretty alternative to basic white — but still feels neutral and easy to style.

6. Bow-Tie Beauty: A bow at the neck really elevates this 90% mulberry silk blouse. It has a covered button placket, long sleeves and a non-detachable tie that can be knotted in the front or back for two polished looks. Spandex adds a touch of stretch, too, making those long days at the desk a little more comfortable.

7. Layering MVP: Every good work wardrobe needs a layering piece that can do the heavy lifting, and this fitted mulberry silk turtleneck fits the bill. The slim silhouette, stretchy feel and foldable high neck make this one perfect for pairing with blazers, cardigans and sweater vests — it’s basically the foundation for countless polished outfits.

8. Waist-Defining Wrap: This isn’t your average office tee. Made with 23% silk, viscose and a touch of spandex, this flattering wrap top has a fluid drape and wrinkle-resistant finish that makes it especially work-trip friendly. Subtle ruching across the waist creates shape and softens the silhouette without feeling clingy.

9. Boatneck Beauty: The boat neckline on this silky jersey tee gives even the most basic work outfit an elegant upgrade. Elbow-length sleeves offer just-right coverage, and the regular fit gently skims the body for a polished silhouette. Pair it with tailored trousers for a simple office look that feels anything but boring!

10. Nautical Chic: Give your work wardrobe a little coastal flair with this cotton-silk knit. The standout sailor collar and tubular edging add visual interest without going overboard, making it an easy match for tailored pants, jeans or a midi skirt. Even better, it’s machine washable for low-maintenance dressing.

11. Pretty Cutwork: Delicate cutwork and embroidery make this cotton-silk cami feel far more special than your standard office tank. It has a sleek silhouette that skims over the skin while feeling luxurious. Layer it beneath a cardigan or blazer when you want your work outfit to feel a little more feminine.

12. Raw Silk Cool: For a more relaxed take on the silk trend, look no further than this boxy tee. Its raw silk fabrication has a textured slub that softens with every wear, giving the luxe material a cool, lived-in feel. Dropped shoulders and a boat neckline keep the cropped silhouette casual enough for dressed-down Fridays.

13. Boho Boss: The peasant blouse gets a seriously polished makeover with soft, smooth mulberry silk. A stand collar, balloon sleeves and curved hem bring just the right amount of romantic drama to your 9-to-5 wardrobe. Adjustable cuffs let you customize the sleeves for the perfect fit. And the ivory hue makes it endlessly easy to pair with trousers, denim or a sleek pencil skirt!

Paris Jackson Makes Rare Comments About Mom Debbie Rowe

Paris Jackson’s relationship with her mother, Debbie Rowe, was many years in the making.

“I remember, you know, kind of asking about it when I was probably around, like, 10 or 11 and the answers I got were, you know, sufficient to me,” Jackson, 28, said on the Wednesday, August 12, episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “Just like, ‘Oh, what’s her name?’ I got told her name and I’m like, ‘All right, cool,’ like, [I] moved on.”

Paris is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson and Rowe, 67, who also shared son Prince, 29. (Michael, who died in 2009 at age 50, was also the father of son Bigi, 24, whom he welcomed via surrogate.)

Paris was a teenager when she initially met her mother.

It’s been 15 years since Michael Jackson’s shocking death at age 50 on June 25, 2009. Although the years that followed were hard on the singer’s three children, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly that Jackson would be proud of where his kids are today. “Some people could let nepotism […]

“We connected when I was about 15 and then really started getting closer towards the end of my teen years and things like that,” Paris recalled. “I remember coming downstairs and she was in the living room with my grandma. As Paris and Rowe have continued to get to know each other through the years, their bond has solidified even more.

“I think what’s really cool about my process, in general, is learning how expectations kind of f*** us up,” Paris noted to podcast host Alex Cooper. “If I walk into a relationship with expectations, probably going to end up being, maybe, disappointed or frustrated or irritated or a resentment will be born or something.”

Paris added, “When I walk into something and I don’t have expectations, it creates this really cool space for something organic to just blossom. I’d say it’s gotten more refined [over the years].”

Paris and her brothers primarily grew up with their dad. (After his death, Paris and her siblings moved in with their grandmother.)

“I knew he was famous. I just didn’t know how famous,” Paris admitted of the late King of Pop. “There was definitely part of me that, like, when I looked out my hotel window — and it was one of the times where, like, the alias didn’t work — and there’s just a sea of people with signs and stuff. I’m not so naive to think, ‘Yeah, everyone experiences this.’ I just didn’t understand the lengths.”

NBA YoungBoy Says Husbands Who Cheat Can’t Be Trusted

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

NBA YoungBoy had the internet scratching their heads after a clip of his interview with Funny Marco circulated online. In it, he speaks of never trusting a man who would betray his wife with infidelity. Fans quickly weighed in with “right message, wrong messenger” vibes. That’s because YB has appeared cozy on camera with multiple women outside of his wife, Jazlyn Mychelle. To this day, Mychelle has yet to comment on these sightings, leaving the internet to speculate about the nature of their marriage.

NBA YoungBoy Talks About The Type Of Men & Women That Can’t Be Trusted

As mentioned, the rapper appeared in an ‘Open Thoughts’ interview, published on Tuesday (August 11). YB, real name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, chatted with the social media comedian in Korea and opened up about his struggles with fame, his new album, plans to tour and living outside of the United States. At one point, Kentrell offered Funny Marco some food for thought about the type of men he should never trust.

“You know something, though? Never trust a man who would cheat on his wife and never trust a b***h who would f**k a married man. Remember that and you would never hear like a lot of dudes say that because either them n****s like pretending with [themselves] and they hiding something from the world or just f**k n****s.”

NBA YoungBoy then seemed to imply that’s not the case with him. Honesty from the jump is the way to go, he explained.

“I ain’t got none of that to do. If you was honest from the beginning, you would have never had to forgive cause everything just there. And how I run my life today? It’s either you put too much time into something or you ain’t put enough. No matter if it’s going bad or good. It could be with friendships, your job, anything. It’s either you put enough time into it or you didn’t.”

NBA YoungBoy Recently Shut Down Rumors Of Jazlyn Mychelle Leaving Him Amid Sightings With Other Women

According to PEOPLE, NBA YoungBoy and Jazlyn Mychelle started dating in 2020 before welcoming their first child, Alice Nora Gaulden, in 2021. They got engaged the following year and welcomed their second child, Klemenza Tru Gaulden, that same year. In January 2023, several outlets reported the couple had gotten married in Utah, citing a marriage license with both of their names. In October 2025, footage surfaced of YB and Jazlyn at the gender reveal party of their third child. Their daughter was reportedly born in February 2026.

Last month, online rumors claimed that Jazlyn Mychelle had left NBA YoungBoy. What sparked the talks? She had reportedly removed videos from her YouTube channel. He later addressed the “miserable” people, saying they’re haters. Also, YB said he doesn’t like when she exposes his demons because he likes living with them. He added that when she exposes them, he gets “emotional.” YB then appeared to troll the rumors and even asked Jaz to weigh in.

The rumors appeared to pop off amid his public and social media appearances with women like Jada Marie and Mellow Rackz, who last month showed off his tattooed name on her neck and back.

Social Media Pops Off Over YB’s Trust Message

After The Shade Room reposted the viral clip, more than 4,000 reactions filled the Instagram comment section. Some applauded the message about the type of men and women who can’t be trusted. However, quite a few others joked about NBA YoungBoy not being able to trust himself! Others speculated that the second part of his comment, about being honest from the jump, is why we don’t see Jazlyn Mychelle publicly tripping about his cozy connections to other women like Mellow Rackz.

Former ‘Bad Girls Club’ star Mehgan James wrote, “Man he’s the libra est libra that every Libraed😩😩.”

“The message is accurate don’t get distracted on who it’s from 💯,” @darrica_mars said.

@iamerikaward commented, “This how my friends be giving me advice they ain’t even standing on business about when we discussing different topics. 😂😂😂 I be like, “Girlllll… LEAD BY EXAMPLE!” 😭🤣.”

“😂😂 bro can’t even trust himself,” @duvalpromo added.

“He said if you’re honest from the beginning,” @mac_mustang wrote.

“So basically it’s not cheating if she knows or allow you to be with other people,” @jessthebaldie asked.

@ginajyneen commented, “It’s not cheating if they agree on an open marriage.”

“He isn’t cheating if they have an agreement that’s the whole point. He is saying he lives an honest life,” @bull_focused wrote.

@definatelypaid joked, “Funny Marco looking at him like that means I can’t trust you now 😂😂😂”

@callmee_biga added, “😂 He so real he be sneaking dissing himself all the time.”

“He’s clearly saying he’s honest with Jas and he knows not to trust the women who mess with him 🤔,” @arroganttavii said.

@jaymemonet added, “They gone be real mad this came from their favorite rapper…that cheats on his wifeeee 😂😂😂😂😂😂👏👏”

10 Modern Anime Where Every Episode Is a Masterpiece

Published

on

The characters stand outside with a blue sky and a tall building in Sonny Boy.

Anime shows have a harder time than most maintaining their quality because the stories can drag on for too long. One Piece is renowned as one of the best entries into the medium of all time, but with over a thousand episodes, it has its fair share of lows. However, when an anime series achieves a true level of consistency in every episode, it goes down in history as a must-watch title, and that is what we will be focusing on.

This list will feature ten modern anime series where every episode is a masterpiece based on writing, animation, memorability, consistency, relevance, themes, critical acclaim, fan opinion, and overall quality. To be considered a modern anime, the show needs to be released in the 2020s. Maybe it is a bit of a stretch to say every episode of these anime is a masterpiece, but at the very least, each of them is nearly perfect in its own right.

‘Sonny Boy’ (2021)

Avant-garde anime are getting increasingly rare, with almost none in the modern age. This is proven by the fact that Sonny Boy, from 2021, is one of the most recent. After a group of students mysteriously get transported into a supernatural realm, they all slowly gain superpowers. From forming a hierarchy to infighting, the group struggles to find their way back home, potentially being trapped in the bizarre land.

It may be one of the lesser-known shows here, but hopefully that allows it to gain more popularity, especially since every episode is a masterpiece. Sonny Boy is a quick twelve episodes, but the mind-bending adventure it takes fans on will feel like an eternity in a good way. Some of it may be confusing, but this thought-provoking anime will have fans contemplating each profound episode.

‘Chainsaw Man’ (2022-present)

More seasons of Chainsaw Man can’t come soon enough, because after the movie, fans are desperate for more content. Denji and his chainsaw devil have lived a life of debt, but when a devil hunting organization hires them, Denji can experience his lifelong dreams. However, human luxuries come with a price, as he must fight against vicious foes who all want his heart.

There are more episodes on the way, but as Chainsaw Man is now, every episode is a wild ride of action, gore, drama, comedy, and bizarreness. A lot of fans claim that it has one of the best power systems in anime, and each episode showcases these extreme abilities with prestigious animation. The action is phenomenal, and the plot is crazy in the best way possible.

‘Summer Time Rendering’ (2022)

This list features an assortment of popular and lesser-known works, but one of the most underrated anime on here is arguably Summer Time Rendering. After living on an island for his entire life, Shinpei moved away to Tokyo to continue his studies. Years later, a close friend of his dies, bringing him back to the nostalgic island, only to get caught in a supernatural plot involving the deity of the island.

Summer Time Rendering is a magnificent mystery anime that is one of the greatest of modern times; unfairly, however, it hasn’t reached a broader audience. At first, the plot is putting pieces together and slowly building the dark setup, but as it progresses, more is revealed and the reveals are shocking. Whether it is build-up or pay-off, Summer Time Rendering is constantly flawless.

‘Nippon Sangoku’ (2026-present)

2026 isn’t over yet, but it already contains some incredible series that will make a run for anime of the year, including Nippon Sangoku. After nuclear fallout led to global cooling, the world has reverted to a past state with technology not working anymore. Japan is split into three factions, and while everything has been at a standstill, one young genius hopes to change the tides of war.

As the most recent anime on this list, Nippon Sangoku has quickly established itself as a must-watch series due to its unique art direction, fascinating characterization, and beautiful animation. Each episode is visually striking, but this show is more than eye candy; it also boasts magnificent characters that further develop its strategically brilliant plot, proving why it is a contender for the best anime of 2026.

‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ (2022-present)

After the first season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, it wasn’t supposed to get another, but it was only recently that a second season was confirmed. After the death of his mother, David is left with nothing but an advanced cybernetic spine, leading him to join a gang looking for revenge. However, this path only leads to more pain, trauma, and suffering.

With a new season coming out soon, now is the best time to watch this anime gem, and if it is as good as the first season, it might be the best modern anime ever. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is flashy, over-the-top, and absolutely exhilarating from start to finish, highlighting the beauty and tragedy of every chapter. Some episodes are brilliant and fun, but others are dark and depressing; either way, it is engaging all the same.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

‘Dorohedoro’ (2020-present)

The Hole is a decrepit location where residents live in fear of sorcerers who practice their magic on them. Dorohedoro follows one such experiment, Caiman, who is left with no memories of his past and the head of a crocodile. He now sets off on an adventure to find whoever did this and reverse the effects, and he doesn’t care how many sorcerers he will have to kill to do so.

After six long years of waiting, Dorohedoro finally returned for a second season, making it the perfect time to watch this anime. Fans are in for a wild ride with this one, which somehow manages to simultaneously be one of the darkest and funniest modern anime shows. The mystery is flawless, and each character has a key role, making every episode an intriguing piece in the grand puzzle of Dorohedoro.

‘Takopi’s Original Sin’ (2025)

It is easier for shorter anime to have each episode be a masterpiece compared to longer shows, which gives Takopi’s Original Sin the edge over most series on this list. The titular octopus-like alien finds its way to Earth looking to spread joy and laughter wherever it goes. His first step is getting a depressed and bullied child to smile again, but this mission takes a sinister turn.

Takopi’s Original Sin looks wholesome on the outside, but that shouldn’t fool fans, because it is one of the bleakest series viewers will watch. It may be a depressing watch, but this anime portrays its themes of bullying, substance abuse, and suicide with subtlety and nuance. Takopi’s Original Sin is only six episodes, but that short runtime is enough to leave a lifelong impact.

‘Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End’ (2023-present)

Fans are not starving for modern fantasy anime, because every year seems to reveal the next perfect anime, and in 2023, it was Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Years after the immortal titular elf and her party defeated the demon king, she goes on as those close to her pass away. Wanting to say unsaid words, she travels with her former member’s protégée’s on a nostalgic adventure.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a modern show, but it is already one of the best anime series of all time. Its meteoric rise to fame is thanks to its structure, which redefines the fantasy genre by focusing on the side quests on the road to the main goal. Each episode is simple, fun, gorgeous, and atmospheric. Whether it showcases brilliant action or wholesome moments, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is full of episodic masterpieces.

‘Pluto’ (2023)

Naoki Urasawa is one of the most prolific manga authors of all time, boasting a classic and modern anime where every episode is a masterpiece. Pluto follows Detective Gesicht, who is investigating the murders of the most advanced robots. However, when he realizes the case involves him and his dark past, this mystery becomes deeper than he ever thought.

Pluto has a vastly different structure than most anime, boasting eight episodes, each of which is an hour long. This format gives each episode more time to develop the plot, focusing on the mystery, the characters, and the themes. It discusses love, hate, and who has the right to them, blending emotional and profound storytelling alongside a phenomenal mystery that has fans hooked every episode.

‘City The Animation’ (2025)

Anime is all about creativity and gorgeous animation, and that is exactly what City The Animation embodies. This series takes place in a quaint city, but its residents are anything but normal, consisting of eccentric individuals who enjoy the simple pleasures of everyday life. From citywide races to old men reliving the glory days, every day brings something new!

City The Animation doesn’t feature drastic fights or high-stakes tension, but it is a masterpiece regardless because of its uniqueness. The directing is among the best of modern shows, boasting genuinely innovative moments that find new ways to showcase the story. Besides being one of the most visually impressive and stunning anime of the modern day, City The Animation is full of charm, life, endearing characters, and a nostalgic vibe that brightens up every episode, proving it earns the title of a modern anime masterpiece.

Paris Jackson Shares Rare Truth About Relationship With Mom

Paris Jackson at 6th Annual Jam For Janie GRAMMY Awards Viewing Party

Paris Jackson is spilling the tea about her gradually evolving relationship with her mother, Debbie Rowe.

Reflecting on how their connection developed over the years, the twenty-eight-year-old musician and model candidly shared how removing expectations allowed a genuine bond to bloom naturally.

Paris didn’t have much of a relationship with her mother, as she was raised alongside her older brother, Prince, and younger brother, Bigi, primarily by their father, the late Michael Jackson.

Speaking on a recent episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Paris offered a rare glimpse into her journey of getting to know her biological mother. She started by explaining that it was not until her mid-teens that she and Rowe met face-to-face and began building an actual relationship.

Recalling their first encounter coming downstairs to find Rowe sitting in the living room with her grandmother, Paris described how a brief conversation quickly turned into an enjoyable day spent hanging out together.

As their relationship matured through her late teens and into adulthood, Paris credited a shift in her personal approach to connection as the reason their bond grew so strong.

“I think what’s really cool about my process, in general, is learning how expectations kind of f-ck us up,” she said,

She also emphasized that letting go of preconceived notions prevents frustration, resentment, and disappointment, noting that this created room for something authentic to flourish.

“When I walk into something, and I don’t have expectations, it creates this really cool space for something organic just to blossom. I’d say it’s gotten more refined [over the years],” she stated.

Paris Jackson Previously Shared An Instagram Post Showcasing Her Bond With Her Mother

The recent discussion surrounding her connection with her mom builds on a series of intimate updates the artist has shared regarding their evolving relationship. In February, Paris posted snapshots alongside Rowe to her Instagram Stories, highlighting their closeness.

One selfie captured the duo smiling side-by-side, with Paris wearing a Navajo-print fleece jacket and Rowe dressed in a plaid flannel. Another photo showed them in matching cream-colored tops, per The Blast

Paris’ post seemed to signify the progress in their relationship over the years. Having spent most of her early childhood apart from Rowe, she had previously described their dynamic as a grounded, adult friendship, rather than a conventional parent-child structure.

Alongside her evolving connection with her mother, Paris has also established firm boundaries regarding her relationship with her late father, pop legend Michael.

Appearing on Jack Osbourne’s “Trying Not to Die” podcast in May, she pushed back against public commentary and expectations surrounding how she honors her father’s memory.

Paris admitted that following her father’s death in 2009, she initially felt immense pressure to share intimate feelings and family memories with the world. Over time, however, her perspective shifted significantly.

“There’s definitely a certain element where I felt I had to share everything,” she told Osbourne. “And that has drastically changed in the last few years, because I don’t really feel like any of us owe anyone anything,” she added, as reported by The Blast.

Having previously posted public tributes on holidays and anniversaries, the singer-songwriter explained that she now protects her grief and memories from public scrutiny.

In addition to personal boundaries and family dynamics, Paris also took a firm stance in court to safeguard her father’s legacy. In a significant legal victory, she successfully challenged the financial management of Michael’s estate.

According to The Blast, following a long-standing dispute over estate oversight and transparency, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff ruled in favor of Paris.

The judge ordered estate executors John Branca and John McClain to return $625,000 in bonus payments to Paris. The disputed funds had initially been distributed to third-party law firms in 2018 without proper justification or sufficient administrative oversight.

Sustaining Paris’ objection, Judge Beckloff declared in his order, “The bonus payments are not approved; they are disallowed. The payments shall be returned to the estate.”

Building on her previous legal victory, Paris also brought additional financial demands before the court.

The Blast recently reported that the artist filed new court documents petitioning for formal orders to recover nearly $3 million in total disbursements to benefit the Jackson family.

In the filing, Paris requested a reimbursement of $1.1 million in legal fees incurred by her camp, arguing that the estate’s management forced an unnecessarily prolonged and expensive legal battle.

Furthermore, she raised objections to approximately $2.85 million in unauthorized gifts and expenditures, requesting that the court compel Branca to return those funds to the family purse.

Molly Sims on How Her Relationship With Her Body Has Evolved

Published

on

Molly Sims in Green Bikini

Molly Sims is reflecting on how her relationship with her body has changed over the years.

“I just came in at a very difficult era,” the Las Vegas alum, 53, exclusively tells Us while looking back at the pressure to be a certain weight in her early modeling days. “It was about 20 pounds underweight. … Normal body weight was not that when I entered it, and so it gave me a lot of pause, a lot of tears.”

Sims says she tried “extreme measures” to meet expectations when it came to her weight, including trying “every diet” she came across.

“I think there’s not one thing I didn’t do,” she recalls.

Now, more than 40 years later, Sims has a different perspective.

“I’m not trying to look like I’m 20, which I think makes a huge difference,” she explains. “I’m just trying to look the best I can at every age.”

Sims adds that she would rather be “healthy” than thin, which is a “big mind shift.”

“I’m the girl who [wouldn’t pick up the] two-pound weight at SoulCycle. Now I do HIIT. I lift weights. I’m back to Pilates, and I do Tracy Anderson,” she continues. “Also, the difference between me at 20 and me at 53 is that I have an incredible tailor. So if I’m a size 12 or
I’m size 4, it doesn’t f***ing matter. That’s my secret weapon.”

Still, Sims admits she still has “hang-ups” about her body every now and then.

“That doesn’t just go away. I’m super broad, and I hate my shoulders and my arms because I was told my entire life, ‘You’re too muscular,’” she adds.

Sims began her modeling career in her early 20s after scoring features on the cover of Vogue Spain and Vogue Paris. In 2001, she became a spokesmodel for Old Navy and walked the runway for the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Sims has also worked with CoverGirl, Veronique Leroy, Jerome L’Huillier, Givenchy, Ann Demeulemeester and Emanuel Ungaro and appeared on the cover of Ocean Drive, Lucky, Marie Claire, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Glamour, Shape, Self and Vanidades.

So it kind of helped me, especially with my fitness. Am I sick of protein? I’m so sick of chicken, but I still do my shakes and my creatine. Does it work? I don’t know. Maybe!”

Overall, Sims says she looked at preparing for her SI Swim appearance “in a different way” this time around.

‘Ted Lasso’s Best Season 4 Quote Signifies a Return to Form for Apple TV

Published

on

ted-lasso-poster.jpg

Ted Lasso’s Season 3 finale was meant to be the end of the show, but it quickly became clear that would not be enough for fans. While Ted’s (Jason Sudeikis) journey coaching the AFC Richmond men’s team had come to an end, there were many loose ends left dangling. The title of the series may be Ted Lasso, but the show itself has always been an ensemble with many characters not reaching their full potential at the end.

The biggest upset was the demise of the relationship between Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) and Keeley Jones (Juno Temple). They were posed early on in the series as the relationship to root for, only for them to come apart at the seams offscreen between Seasons 2 and 3. This is among a few creative decisions that left the Ted Lasso legacy in jeopardy. Only two episodes in, and Season 4 appears to be beating Season 3 with one quote that may set the show on the right path.

‘Ted Lasso’s Season 4 Quote Gives Hope to Roy and Keeley Fans

Ted Lasso Season 4 got off to somewhat of a slow start as Ted resisted his return as a Richmond coach. As soon as he hit English soil, however, the show that fans loved was back on track. Episode 2, “Curiouser and Curiouser!” didn’t just feature old cast members such as Roy and Couch Beard (Brendan Hunt) back in the coaching seat, but also the return of a fan-favorite couple. The tension between Roy and Keeley is palpable in their scenes, especially in one that contains more hope than fans have had in a long time.

After Keeley requests a new locker room for the women’s team, Roy assists in a charged scene that calls back to the best years of their relationship. Roy then asks for her advice when it comes to the situation he finds himself in with Beard. He knows that Beard longs to work with Ted again, but the coach is unable to ask Roy to leave the men’s team for the women’s. Keeley offers words of wisdom that don’t just apply to Ted and Beard.

“I think keeping two people apart who belong together is bad, not just for them, but for everybody,” Keeley says wisely. The best pieces of dialogue are lines that have double meanings, and this is a hint that Roy and Keeley are about as done as Ted and Beard.

Ted Lasso is famous for adding little winks at the audience, especially when it comes to Roy and Keeley. Season 1 features a voiceover from Ted about meeting his wife for the first time that overlaps a scene where Roy and Keeley have initial sparks in a parking lot. These hints are not just a comfort for the audience but a clever bit of foreshadowing that makes the series engaging.

This quote also makes it clear that Ted Lasso has reboarded the Keeley and Roy train. Season 3 posited that Roy was not ready for a relationship and devastated fans when there was no satisfying end to a couple that had been set up since the first season. Roy already seems more open to vulnerability as he asks Keeley for help in Season 4.

He also notes that it has been three years since they have been alone together, meaning he would have had ample time to work on himself. Ted’s reappearance may just offer the push these two need to come back together in a decision that will likely delight fans who never lost faith.

This quote early on in Season 4 proves to fans that Ted Lasso is making creative decisions that are a return to form. The ensemble cast may have some shake-ups, but the heart of the series remains.
