Splurge Monday’s Workwear Report: The City Layered Blazer
This post may contain affiliate links and Corporette® may earn commissions for purchases made through links in this post. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
This wool blazer from Favorite Daughter is just a gorgeous specimen. I love the button placement and the notched lapels, but the selling point for me is really the cotton-cashmere cuff accents that give the look of layering without the warmth or bulk.
I would wear this with some comfy athleisure pants for a travel day when I wanted to look pulled-together or with dark trousers for a great business casual look.
The blazer is $348 and comes in sizes XXS-XXL.

Color Comes in Layers – Julia Berolzheimer
Outfit Details: Rosie Assoulin Jacket (sold, out similar here), Eterne Tank, Donni Skirt (last seen here), Liffner Clutch (last seen here), Emme Parsons Sandals, Sherman Field Necklace, Saint Laurent Sunglasses
There are days when one piece is so colorful that the rest of the outfit gets built around it. This rainbow duster from Rosie Assoulin is exactly that. It sets the palette on its own, and everything after it comes naturally out of what’s already there. The trick is balancing that much color with pieces that ask for nothing, like a simple tank or a clean pleat-front plant, which is what lets the look feel bold but still composed.
Outfit Details: Rosie Assoulin Jacket (sold, out similar here), Eterne Tank, Donni Skirt (last seen here), Liffner Clutch (last seen here), Emme Parsons Sandals, Sherman Field Necklace, Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Chan Luu Top & Scarf (old, similar here and here), Reformation Pants, Jimmy Choo Bag, Saint Laurent Sunglasses, Vibi Venezia Flats
Grounding it comes down to the accessories. A tortoise frame and a dark sandal give the brighter shades something more tactile to sit against, adding weight where the outfit needs it most. I love when color moves this way, not as one big splash, but as something that travels through the look, getting richer and more deliberate with every piece.

Amazon Sundays: The Birthday Kit
This week’s Amazon Sunday is all the little things worth having on hand before a birthday actually arrives, the ones that make the day feel instantly more festive. So much of the magic comes from the details that have nothing to do with the party itself, like funfetti pancakes for breakfast, a candle in the stack, balloons waiting in the kitchen the second they wake up. I like keeping a stash going so none of it depends on how busy the week becomes.
These are the finds that make a celebration feel special whether it happens at home, at school, with friends, or just around the kitchen table with family. Plates, napkins, hats, streamers, sprinkles, and cake toppers create that cheerful birthday feeling in an instant, while an electric balloon pump and a few favor bags make the setup so much easier behind the scenes.
Browse the full edit below, and explore more in our JB Amazon Shop and Amazon Storefront, refreshed weekly.

SATURDAY SESH

I am back from Scotland! We landed, and I did nothing last night but snuggle Penny on the couch, watch bad TV, and honestly, it felt glorious. I have a lot on my plate right now, but it is all exciting, so no complaints from me! I have a closet install and reveal coming soon, another really fun house project, a trip to NYC to shoot a collection, and a few more things up my sleeve for the rest of 2026.
This week, I was blown away by how many of you loved this post. I will definitely be turning this into an ongoing series in the future! You also loved, loved this coat that I posted. It is such a stunning style in person. The embroidery is incredibly luxe, and the piece feels far more expensive than the price tag. I could barely make it down the street in Edinburgh without someone complimenting it or asking where they could buy it! If you want it, I would grab it now—more than half of the sizes have already sold out since I posted it.
Now onto my Saturday Sesh, where I share what I am excited about this week…
H&M RUNWAY // The H&M runway collection just hit, and I bought quite a few pieces. How good are this white band jacket, this tulle dress, and this blouse?! The only things I couldn’t get my hands on are this ruffle sweater and this insane lace top, both of which I am signed up for back-in-stock alerts for!
DORSEY RINGS // Dorsey just launched new rings, and they are beyond gorgeous. My personal favorites are this unique band and this Asscher-cut solitaire, which would make a killer pinky ring.
HORSE FALL NEWNESS // New bags are dropping from The Horse here this week! I am eyeing this mint beauty, which feels like the perfect sleek everyday bag.
GUEST IN RESIDENCE LAUNCHES DENIM // You know I am a big fan of all the knits from Guest in Residence—especially this scarf and this top—so I was excited to see they have launched denim. They launched with four fits, and the Workday in Rust Flock is my top pick.
COLBY PANT NOW IN WOOL // Speaking of pants, my favorite—and your favorite—pant is now available in wool here!
SAKS F&F // Saks F&F is here! It is 25% off new arrivals, and there are some gems in there. For example, this precious bag, this versatile striped top, these boots I own and love, and this conversation starter.
PAST MIDNIGHT X RETROFÊTE // Two of my favorites have teamed up to add new colors to these bestselling sunglasses. The burgundy and blue are just too good.
JTG JEWELRY // I picked up this charm and this charm on a whim and was elated when they arrived. They are so well made and look far more $$$ than their price tag. Now I am thinking about this ring…

Something on your mind? Chat about it here.
I just got these cords from Talbots, and they’re lovely. They’re pull-on, machine washable, flat front. I like that they have useful (and flattering) pockets in the front and the back. No complaints; I can’t wait to wear them.
They have a lot of nice cords at the moment, including this style cut more like jeans — and while we all know Talbots has one of the most extensive size ranges out there (including that unicorn, plus-size petites), they also have long sizes available in some of the cords.
The pants are $109, but you can take 25% off today (discount shows up in bag).
