16 Dresses To Welcome Fall

16 Dresses To Welcome Fall

Outfit Details: Ulla Johnson Dress, Ulla Johnson Sandals, Ulla Johnson Tote

It’s no secret that dresses make up a huge portion of my wardrobe, so a change of season always feels like an invitation to add a few fresh ones into the mix. A new season calls for a new mood, and what I’m looking for right now has more depth to it. Richer color, luxurious details, a little more drama than anything I reached for in August.

Dresses remain a mainstay for me because they do the seasonal work before any layers are required. Whether they set the tone for the day or make a statement for an evening plan, these are the pieces that invite the new season in and carry you all the way through it. That alone is enough to make a closet feel fresh again.

Secondhand Vintage Clothing at the Dublin international fashion week 2026, with Handbags and Jewelery got the top appreciation from Pynck.com who attended The Collective of Three Savey Women with a very good eye for Vintage Pieces on display at the Montague Studio, Dublin 2.

There was graceful atmosphere for the young women adoring the excellent choices of quirky yet vibrant tops and skirts in this array of arty pieces of vintage clothing. There was a mix of layered skirts and tops with detail, some of which were very inspiring and could upstage any high streets versions in this theme of preloved timeless clothing aimed at sustainability and fashion.

SCOTLAND STYLE: COUNTRY, COAST, AND CITY

SCOTLAND STYLE: COUNTRY, COAST, AND CITY

LOOK ONE: Dress // Coat // Earrings

LOOK TWO: Dress // Coat

LOOK THREE: Dress // Jacket

We covered quite a bit of ground in Scotland – from country, to coast, to city! While we were there for ten days, it didn’t feel like the trip was nearly long enough. There was so much beauty to take in and so many more places that I wanted to see. Travel guide coming soon!

While visiting, we had the best weather: mostly clear skies, highs in the 60s, lows in the 50s, and surprisingly little to no rain. And you know what that kind of weather is perfect for? Fall dressing. I could not have been happier to leave hot, steamy Florida behind for a while.

Tuckernuck’s newest fall collection has been trickling in, and I scooped up some fabulous styles to mix and match during our travels. The brand brought back one of my favorite dresses in new hues here. How chic is the green!? It paired perfectly with this blazer, which I also own in classic navy.

I did a bit of print mixing with this dress (we launched this silhouette with my Tuckernuck collection back in 2023!) and this coat, which somehow is even more beautiful in person.

And last but not least, dinner in the city called for something a bit more elegant. I landed on this embroidered maxi, with its incredible detailing, and this elegant coordinating coat. At least a dozen people stopped me within two blocks of our hotel to ask about the outfit! To complete the look I wore these statement studs.

I wish my suitcase were big enough to bring the entire Tuckernuck fall collection, but such is life. Below are a few more of my favorite current styles from Tuckernuck! PS a few of my closet staples are back this season, like this sweater and this bag.

1 Claires Life Covering The Red Carpet At Emerge NYFWs 15th Annual Show Featuring Danessa Myricks Eva Marcille Chaka Khan And More

Last night, I closed out NYFW as the red carpet host for Emerge NYFW’s fashion show, toasting to the powerhouse Dionne Williams on 15 years of Emerge NYFW.

Dionne always assembles fashion industry icons for her events, so I was honored to get the chance to interview FUBU’s J. Alexander Martin, the icon Karl Kani, Atiba Newsome, and honorees Danessa Myricks and Eva Marcille, among others, as well as witness style icon Chaka Khan get her flowers.

The show itself was fantastic, and I was thrilled to see amazing designs from Makarassi Couture, LeTwa Fashion Collection, Fort Mose 1738 Brand, and of course, Karl Kani.

Thank you, Dionne, for always including me and giving me amazing opportunities. Wishing you many, many more years of success!

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. Also: we just updated our big roundup for the best women’s suits of 2026!

What are your thoughts on unusual blazers — great for creatives or casual days, or just weird?

We’ve rounded up unusual suits for creative industries, as well as dramatic blazers, but this suit from TWP is one of the odder ones I’ve seen! I don’t hate it, and I keep thinking the blazer is fine if it’s worn open, but something is still off.

I think for starters it’s too big on the model (her thumb is almost entirely covered!)… and while I’m ok with a wide leg, I think the pleats here make the whole thing too busy. Readers, what are your thoughts — would this be a winner or loser for you?

The blazer is $1,195, and the pants are $695, both at Saks.

Sales of note for 9/11:

NYFW might be about the runways, but the parties are where fashion, music and culture collide—and ESSENCE Fashion House brought all three.

Held at Jean’s in New York City, the celebration drew a fashionable crowd including Coi Leray, Daniel Kaluuya, Leon Thomas, Claressa Shields, Key Glock, Sydney Colson, Brandon Blackwood, Bernard James, Tia Adeola, Fe Noel, Romeo Hunte, Bruce and Glen Proctor and more.

Style icon Va$htie Kola kicked off the night behind the decks before Flo Milli took the stage for a special performance. Mellow Domingo later kept the party moving into the early hours.

The room offered its own snapshot of contemporary culture, with designers mingling with musicians, actors rubbing shoulders with athletes, and some of fashion’s most recognizable creatives trading the runway for the dance floor.

Guests also stopped by presenting partner smartwater’s Hydration Station, while beauty favorites from Fenty Beauty, Mielle, HAUS LABS, MAKEUP BY MARIO, The Honey Pot and more filled the evening’s curated gift bags.

Between Va$htie on the decks, Flo Milli onstage and a room filled with fashion’s movers and shakers, ESSENCE Fashion House proved that some of NYFW’s best moments happen after the runway lights go down.

What do you think?
