Why Couples Are Choosing Coordinated Rings Instead of Identical Ones
For most of the last century the assumption was simple: two people getting married bought two versions of the same ring. Same metal, same width where possible, same everything. That convention has weakened considerably in the last decade, and what replaced it is more interesting than a trend. Couples now tend to choose two rings […]

What to Wear Above a Printed Pant
Outfit Details: Chloe Top (more sizes here), Alemais Pants (more sizes here), Jamie Haller Wedges (last seen here, similar here), Savette Bag (last seen here), Bottega Veneta Sunglasses
A printed pant may seem like it comes with styling rules, but I’d make a case for the opposite. The instinct is to go simple on top, something that stays out of the way, but a plain shirt doesn’t balance a printed pant. It just leaves the pant doing all the work alone.
The trick is matching the mood of the pant instead of retreating from it. If the print is a little retro, lean into that bohemian spirit with eyelet trim, or something with real movement to it. If it’s bold and abstract, meet it with an equally bright, unexpected color and a texture that has some weight to it, like a crushed satin.
There’s always more room in my closet for a softly cut romantic top. It’s the easiest thing to reach for over a printed pant. The pant brings the color and the eye-catching moment, but the blouse keeps everything lighter, airier, and ready for any plan.
Square Neck Top
A crisp white silhouette with scalloped straps feels light, feminine, and softly romantic.

Suit of the Week: McQueen

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. Also: we just updated our big roundup for the best women’s suits of 2026!
First: this McQueen suit is a lovely color. Second. I’ve always loved this jacket cut — to me it looks classic but sharp. But: THE SHOES.
Are peep-toe shoes coming back? Are shooties coming back? All we need is an ankle strap and people would’ve called these “swamp shoes” back in the day. Also, the heels themselves look like a weapon.
(Fun fact: Did you know that a stiletto was the 15th century name for a dagger? I saw that in a museum and wondered at it… here’s the Wikipedia page if you’re interested.)
Questions to ponder.
The suit itself is gorgeous and I really do think it’s the prettiest shade of pink. The blazer is $2400, and the pants are $1,150.

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
This gorgeous chocolate brown color is everywhere this fall. I’m loving this shirtdress from City Chic which looks like a great way to bridge the gap when you want to drink a pumpkin spice latte, but it’s still 80 degrees outside.
I would wear this with these beautiful tortoiseshell flats I found the other day and enjoy my apple cider donuts in the sunshine.
The dress is $149.99 at City Chic and comes in sizes 10-26. It’s also available in black, heavenly pink, and buttermilk.

September family holidays – clickgo holidays
September Family Holidays Could Save Irish Families Almost €1,000
For Irish families looking to make their holiday budget stretch further, changing the timing of a summer break could make a significant difference. New research from Click&Go Holidays suggests that travelling in September rather than August could save a family of four almost €1,000.

clickandgo September holiday
The travel company compared package holiday prices for two adults and two children across five popular destinations – Salou, the Algarve, Majorca, the Costa del Sol and Gran Canaria. Across the destinations analysed, holidays in September were found to be an average of 39% cheaper than those booked for August.
September offers a significant saving
According to the research, the average August package holiday costs €632 per person. For September, that figure drops to €383 per person.
For a family of four, the difference works out at an average saving of €249 per person, bringing the potential total saving to almost €1,000.
The price difference is particularly relevant for families who have some flexibility around when they travel, especially those who do not need to follow the traditional peak July and August holiday period.
Click&Go Holidays said that opportunities to save can continue into October, although prices generally increase during the October mid-term school break as demand rises.
Why travel in September?
Lower prices are not the only potential advantage of moving a family holiday into the autumn. Once the peak summer rush has passed, holidaymakers can often find quieter resorts, shorter queues at airports and greater availability at hotels and resorts.
Temperatures can also be more comfortable across many Mediterranean destinations, while families can continue to enjoy the facilities and attractions that make these locations popular during the summer months.
The research covers a range of three-, four- and five-star family-friendly resorts, meaning families looking for better value do not necessarily have to compromise on their choice of accommodation or destination.
Cost continues to influence family travel plans
The findings come as the cost of overseas holidays remains an important consideration for Irish families.
Click&Go Holidays’ Travel Sentiment Surveys in 2026 found that, on average, 60% of parents travelling with children would consider taking their children out of school in order to benefit from lower holiday prices.
The findings highlight the extent to which holiday costs are influencing decisions about when families travel, particularly as peak-season prices remain higher than those available outside the school summer holidays.
Paul Hackett, CEO of Click&Go Holidays, said the research demonstrates the savings that can be achieved by travelling after the peak season.
“Our latest research shows that families who can travel after the peak summer season can make significant savings, with a family of four saving close to €1,000 simply by travelling in September instead of August. The destinations remain just as attractive, with warm weather, excellent family facilities and a wide choice of three, four and five-star accommodation.”
Hackett also highlighted the importance of value for money when families are deciding when to travel.
“Our Travel Sentiment Surveys also shows that value for money continues to be a major factor for Irish families. More than half of parents told us they would consider taking their children out of school to benefit from lower holiday prices. It is for families themselves to make decisions around the timing of holidays, taking into account the age of the children and the exam year consideration.”
September and October could offer better value
For families who have the freedom to travel outside the traditional summer peak, the savings could extend beyond September.
Hackett said: “For those who have flexibility, September and much of October represent some of the best value available all year. Outside of the October mid-term break, families can enjoy substantial savings while still experiencing excellent weather and a more relaxed holiday atmosphere across many of Europe’s most popular resorts.”
With demand for off-peak family travel continuing to grow, Click&Go Holidays is advising customers to book early to secure the best available autumn deals.
Families looking to plan an autumn break can find more information and booking options at Click&Go Holidays.
