» Holcombe Brook: Fire involving three vehicles breaks out



The incident happened in Longsight Road, Holcombe Brook, at around 12.45pm.

 A fire crew attended to make the area safe.

It is understood that no-one was trapped or injured.

A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “At around 12.45pm today (Tuesday), one fire engine from Ramsbottom Fire Station attended a fire involving three vehicles on Longsight Road.

“Firefighters arrived quickly and worked with Greater Manchester Police to make the area safe.

“Crews moved one vehicle to safety and departed after roughly 30 minutes in attendance.” 

Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for comment about the incident.
