In this video, I show how to build an autonomous AI finance agent with Claude that continuously operates like a real FP&A workflow instead of a temporary chatbot session. Rather than manually uploading financial reports every month and rebuilding the same analysis from scratch, this system continuously monitors reporting folders, detects new monthly P&L files automatically, tracks changes across reporting periods, identifies operational risks and profitability shifts, and generates CFO-ready financial analysis completely on its own. I walk through the full architecture including Claude managed agents, Google Drive, Gmail, Zapier MCP integrations, persistent tracking systems, and the autonomous monitoring loop that allows the finance agent to run continuously in the background.
