President Trump on Wednesday distanced himself from his recently released personal financial disclosures showing more than $1 billion in revenue from cryptocurrency sales and other ventures.

“I don’t get involved in my personal. We have funds that run my money,” Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews, Md., ahead of his trip to North Dakota, when asked what message the disclosures send to average Americans.

A new federal filing shows President Trump took in nearly $1.2 billion from his crypto businesses last year — more than $500 million from World Liberty Financial’s “governance tokens” and more than $600 million from meme coin sales. Both have since plunged in value. The World Liberty tokens have fallen 80% since September, and the Trump meme coin that once topped $74 now sells for $1.68. Trump’s net worth has grown from $2.3 billion in 2024 to an estimated $6 billion, according to Forbes.
