The Most Common Mistakes Beginner Runners Makes
Most new runners make the mistake of not picking up there heels when they are running.
Leading to improper form and potential injury. It is important to focus on proper running form, which includes picking up your heels and landing midfoot or forefoot to prevent overstriding and reduce the risk of injury. Additionally, engaging your core muscles and maintaining a tall posture can help improve your running form and efficiency. Consistent practice and proper form can help new runners become more comfortable and efficient in their running.

haters don’t understand low heels is how elites train their big toes for combat
Your "correct" way is bad form, bad advice, and consume way too much energy. Your heels will naturally kick up when you increase your speed. It's unnecessary to forcefully/intentionally kick your heels up when running at a slower pace.
GYAAAAAAAAAATTTT sorry
I jog like the 1st example but the thing is im overweight and I'm not stiff like he is. I can endure it for an hr.
This is the wrong advice… You're not running you're prancing. Pick up your knees and the heels will go back on their own
Heel lifts happen automatically the faster you run by pulling up your knees more and making longer strides.
Both form are correct but it depends. The 1st one is a warmup jog, the 2nd is a running drill only for most runners. Or maybe The 1st example can finish 100miles with a 15L backpack while holding that form. The 2nd example is fast but for most runners idk if they can hold that form finishing a marathon.
Noooooo. His pace is slow and heals shoud be lower. Also you pick up your leg in front not back while running FAST.
Dont lift ur heel! Thats costs energy.
But if your heel goes up itself, just let it go up, that will Safe energy
Bullshit video
how about slow running for LSD
Ugh! Anyone reading this just START you will get better with time!
Is there any playlist or video that would guide for a complete Marathon from beginner level?
I've been running from a couple years but only able to reach 10k. Mostly because i had to take rest for months due to minor injuries which i think was due to improper postures and technique, lack of proper warm ups.
Doesn’t limiting your backswing help endurance ?
The amount of wasted energy from picking up the heels and swinging your arms while pushing your upper body forward is madness
When it’s just morning PT and not a test , the shuffle works wonders lll
I don't understand. Does picking up you heel mean raising your knees higher or jogging on your toes because I recently start jogging like the first man demonstrated and my shin is in pain
Can I put a big X on top of this video as it’s just dumb!?
Why?
How the first one can be possibility of hurting your hip?
But it's getting more tired to do
I’m Gay
is that roxroy cato
me just realizing ive been running like the first guy lol
I hink its not the heels, its pulling the knee up forward that gives xou thrust for tempo running.
Aint no one doing heel ups in recovery runs bro
Richard Diaz’s three minutes to fix your running form is the game changer
This is confusing. What does the “wrong” at the end apply to?
this video is dumb and wrong!
What if i weigh 300lbs
Some people are runners
Some people are walkers
And the rest are two thumbs commenters
What's the rationale for picking up your heels?
Straught bullcrap
Giving wrong information
Not real. Pace determines how high the heel lift should be
Should I picking up the heel if I am running is slow pace?
Not when you are in EF or footing.
Black is right. Got it
