Are you sure you are doing the exercises correctly? Deadlifts, Squats, Lunge and Push-up are some common exercises that are total-body toning!
When they are not done correctly you can easily injure yourself.
Deadlifts: Make sure you stand with your feet, shoulder-width apart and be sure to keep your weight pressing on your heels.
Squats: Start by standing with your feet, shoulder-width apart. Tighten your stomach muscles to avoid injuries, then lower down as if sitting on a chair. As you lift back up straighten your legs.
Lunges: First stand tall and step one foot forward to a 90-degree angle. Then lift your front lunging leg to return to the starting position!
Push-ups: They may look easy but are you avoiding injuries? Bend your elbows first and then lower your chest towards the floor. When your chest touches the floor, raise your hands back lifting your chest.
These exercises can be performed anywhere and can be made into a great addition to any home workout.
