Matt Fitzpatrick is one of the hottest players in the game right now.
The 31-year-old Englishman is the only PGA Tour player with three wins thus far this season, and is fresh off a 22nd-place finish at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock.

“None of them were written down,” Fitzpatrick said with a laugh. “They were more said out loud.”
Fitzpatrick has played in 12 U.S. Opens since 2014 and won the 2022 edition of the championship at the Country Club in Brookline, Mass. Stoltz decided to put Fitzpatrick on the spot: Which U.S. Open venue is his favorite, excluding the course where he won?
Despite the recent sting of a difficult weekend in Long Island with rounds of 74-73 on Saturday and Sunday, Fitzpatrick acknowledged that Shinnecock would still be his pick.
“I really like Shinnecock, to be fair,” he said. “I’ve played two U.S. Opens there. I think that’s the place I’ve played the most. I really liked the setup in 2018. I thought it was really difficult, but it was really fair.

“I think people forget that the one thing that I feel that that place offers you, for the most part, apart from maybe a couple of greens, is that if you are out of position, you can get it into a position where you still have a chance of an up and down,” he continued. “And I think that is a big thing. Yeah, the up and down is tough, but you could still be fat side of the green and have a chip, and I felt, that year, it played well from that standpoint. I figured it was the same this year, obviously different conditions with how soft the greens were the first two days, but I would honestly say, Shinnecock is a great venue.”

Another record-breaking season for trainer Chris Waller has been capped off with a midweek double at Randwick’s Kensington track, securing his sixteenth consecutive Sydney trainers’ premiership. The tally of Sydney metropolitan wins for the season now stands at 183.
The victories were achieved with Godolphin’s two-year-old filly Sequinned in the Inglis Xtra Bonus Plate (1100m) and Concordia Wind in the Tropicus @ Vinery Stud Handicap (1550m), adding a celebratory flourish to Waller’s dominant season.
The stable’s success was mirrored by its riders, with apprentice Siena Grima claiming the Sydney junior rider’s title with 34 wins, while James McDonald, a frequent jockey for Waller, secured the senior division for the tenth time.
Assistant trainer Charlie Duckworth commented on the driving force behind the stable’s success. “Chris is a relentless worker, and he does a lot of it himself,” Duckworth said. “Plenty of people get accolades for him, but he is the driving force.”

Duckworth elaborated on the team’s exceptional performance this season. “Amazing that he has gone and broken his own records again. He had a bumper year in terms of the top tier horses, and I think we’ve also had more provincial winners than we had last year. Every category has been stronger this year without expanding in terms of numbers. It’s pretty cool.”
Waller’s string of 22 Group 1 winners this season surpasses his previous best of 19 from the 2024-25 period. Both Sequinned and Concordia Wind showcased promising performances at Randwick, despite not yet reaching the highest echelons of racing.
Sequinned, a half-sister to Bivouac, was in just her third career start. A city win as a two-year-old was a significant achievement for the filly, given her esteemed pedigree. “The main thing is you get a metropolitan win on the pedigree page. Not that you need much on a pedigree page like hers, but it still boosts the whole family,” Duckworth stated. “Then you just try to plot a path and hopefully end up in black type if you can.”
Ridden by Zac Lloyd, Sequinned ($11) secured a 1-1/4 length victory over Wanda’s Spark ($2.50), with Eviction Notice ($2.25 favourite) finishing third.

UEFA had come out publicly in opposition to the plan within an hour of it first being reported by the Financial Times and Times on Tuesday.
Shortly after the newspaper reports, FIFA, the sport’s global governing body, issued a statement confirming the plan.
In a later statement, it gave FIFA’s 211 member associations until September 19 to express their written support for the scheme. The proposal requires a simple majority and approval from the FIFA Council to pass.

DFB: FIFA plan ‘problematic and unacceptable’
Germany’s mass-circulation Bild paper reported that key UEFA officials including German FA (DFB) President Bernd Neuendorf had already discussed the FIFA plans via a video call on Wednesday.
“We must not lose the fans’ support, but we are well on the way to squandering that,” he told public broadcaster ZDF. “I consider this to be extremely problematic and unacceptable.
“If UEFA rejects this request (for approval of the plan), then it is dead, because I believe that you won’t be able to find any investor who would be willing to go ahead with this project if UEFA is out,” he added.

Other critics have expressed fears that the deal could lead to more tournaments, teams and matches to increase revenue and boost the value of investors’ stakes.
UEFA hasn’t been the only confederation to criticize the report. CONCACAF, responsible for North and Central America, as well as the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have also expressed concerns that the proposal was made public without their consultation while the African confederation (CAF) have said they will discuss the plans next week.
Members of the FIFA Council, including Neuendorf, have said they were not consulted on the latest proposal.
FIFA: Subsidiary could raise billions ‘this year’
FIFA has said the new subsidiary, to be known as FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) would be valued at $20 billion and that it would aim to raise up to $4.2 billion “this year” by “carefully selecting long-term investors who will purchase minority, non-controlling interests” in the company.

Under the plan, FIFA said it could make $10 billion available for development beginning in 2027. Each federation would be eligible for up to $20 million in one-time Fast Forward funding, in addition to $20 million through the regular FIFA Forward program during the 2027-30 cycle. Without approval, FIFA projects a development package of about $2.7 billion.

How to get
The Webbed Fruit is obtained by completing the Mastery mode of Rose Kingdom, the third Story stage in Anime Expeditions.

Rose Kingdom features five Acts, an Infinite Act, and a Mastery Act. The Webbed Fruit can only drop from the last Act. The Equipment has the following drop rates:
5% drop chance after completing the Rose Kingdom Mastery Stage.
20-Run Pity, guaranteeing the Equipment if you don’t obtain it within 20 Mastery clears.
Although you can farm the Equipment at any time, it can only be equipped after evolving String Demon into String Demon (Awakened).
Stats and passive
The Webbed Fruit comes with two rollable substats:

SPA: -1% to -5%

Day 2 of the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026 Knockout took place on July 30, 2026. Russia’s Team Spirit hammered Malaysia’s Team Vamos in the Quarterfinals and advanced to the Semifinals. Team Vamos was impressive in the Group Stage as the Malaysian side clinched two consecutive matches and entered the Playoffs. They had defeated Team Spirit there but failed to beat them in the Playoffs.

They then made a quick comeback and defeated their opponent in the second round, but didn’t maintain their consistency and lost another round. The lineup managed to win the last two rounds.
Aurora Gaming made a nice start to the MSC 2026, as the squad outclassed defending champion Team Liquid in their first match of the Group Stage. The Turkish team also beat ONIC in the Group Stage to qualify for the Playoffs but were unable to win against them in the Playoffs, getting eliminated from the event.

On Day 1, Team Falcons emerged victorious against TeamVitality 3-1 and qualified for the Semifinals. Yangon Galacticos came out victorious against Pro Esports and entered the Semifinals. Both the losing teams were knocked out of the competition.
On July 31, the first match of the Semifinals will be held between Team Falcons and Yangon Galacticos at 15:30 IST. The second match of the Semifinals will be played between Team Spirit and ONIC at 18:00 IST. The winners of both games will move to the Grand Finals, while the losers will be eliminated from the MSC 2026.
