A new trailer for the upcoming second season of The Celebrity Traitors has been unveiled.

In the cryptic new clip, the star-studded cast is shown together for the first time, gathered in the chapel on the iconic castle’s grounds.

Host Claudia Winkleman then declares: “A moment of silence for the celebrities gathered today.”

After close-ups of their nervous expressions, she calls for “thoughts and prayers” before strutting out.

“Who doesn’t love a dramatic exit?” she then concludes.

A release date for the second season of The Celebrity Traitors has not yet been revealed, but the first iteration began airing in early October, and ended four weeks later, in November.

What we do know, though, is the cast of stars on the line-up, which boasts an eclectic mix from the world of TV, music, sport and beyond.

Dolphins Reportedly Send WR Tutu Atwell Back To Rams For RB Jarquez Hunter

Published

on

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

The Los Angeles Rams are reuniting with a former wide receiver of theirs.

Tutu Atwell is going back to the Rams as the Miami Dolphins have agreed to trade him for running back Jarquez Hunter, ESPN reported Thursday. Atwell returns to Los Angeles five months after leaving the franchise in free agency.

Originally selected by the Rams in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Louisville, Atwell appeared in 64 games and hauled in five receiving touchdowns and ran in another over four seasons, operating as both a downfield threat and return specialist. Atwell was on the Rams Super Bowl LVI roster, but did not play the second half of the season due to a shoulder injury.

Atwell signed a one-year contract with his hometown Dolphins in March, but now rejoins head coach Sean McVay’s offense ahead of the regular season. He joins a crowded receiver room including the likes of Davante Adams and Puka Nakua as options through the air for reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford.

Hunter, a fourth-round draft choice by Los Angeles in 2025 out of Auburn, joins a Miami backfield seeking additional depth. During his rookie season in 2025, Hunter primarily contributed on special teams, appearing in five games.

The Rams open the season against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia on Sept. 10. The Dolphins will go against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 13.

Modders got Nvidia’s controversial DLSS 5 running early, and it’s a huge performance hit

Published

on

What we know so far: DLSS 5’s neural rendering powered by AI is easily Nvidia’s most controversial gaming product, sparking widespread derision when the company unveiled it in March. Nvidia has said little since beyond a vague “this fall” release window, but a recent leak suggests the company isn’t just moving forward with DLSS 5, it could arrive sooner than expected.

Data miners discovered what appears to be a DLL for Nvidia’s upcoming DLSS 5 tech in NBA 2K27’s installation files soon after the game’s early access period started this week. While the basketball simulator does not yet officially support DLSS 5, modders have already begun testing its AI-generated “photorealism” filter in Control.

While the DLL does not explicitly mention DLSS 5, it contains the acronym “NR,” presumably standing for neural rendering, Nvidia’s name for how DLSS 5 uses AI to infer new lighting details using 2D frames and motion vectors.

Furthermore, analysis indicates that most of the DLL’s 158MB file size, by far the largest of any DLSS DLL, consists of neural training weights. The file, which contains 148 million FP8 parameters, is likely an unfinished build.

NBA 2K27 contains no controls for activating DLSS 5, and the DLL only supports Nvidia’s RTX 50 series graphics cards, but the developers of the popular RenoDX Reshade mod quickly got it working in Control.

The mod features several customization sliders and switches, confirming Nvidia’s earlier pledge that developers can tweak DLSS 5 to alter or ignore specific objects with varying levels of intensity.

Videos of the mod show that, even with relatively conservative settings, DLSS 5 significantly alters Control’s lighting and its characters’ faces. The technology appears to add or deepen shadows, simulate new skin shading techniques, and alter eyes to enhance realism. Characters’ faces look dramatically different while adhering to their original structure.

The mod also shows that DLSS 5 might incur a significant performance penalty depending on how much Nvidia optimizes it between now and and its planned release date this fall.

On an RTX 5070 Ti at 4K, activating the mod drops the frame rate from 71 fps to 35 fps, but lower resolutions are expected to have a significantly smaller impact. One of the many demonstrations online showed an RTX 5090 dropping from 91 fps to 50 fps when engaging neural rendering in 4K.

Nvidia’s initial presentation of DLSS 5 drew strong criticism because it attempts something that prior DLSS technologies did not. Super resolution, ray reconstruction, and frame generation simply reconstruct a game’s original graphics at higher resolutions, but neural rendering aims to introduce new details via AI models.

While Nvidia stresses that developers will have the final say over what DLSS 5 does, many already argue that it overrides their original artistic vision and might hallucinate unwanted details.

Leeds Festival 2026 - Kasabian, Arkayla, The Lathums

But for the first time this year, the event has introduced a main stage headliner one day earlier than usual, with indie rock heavyweights Kasabian topping the bill on Thursday night.

But despite the heatwave we’ve been encountering in the region in recent weeks, Mother Nature didn’t quite get the memo about this weekend’s event.

With predicted thunderstorms on Thursday, the event organisers took to social media to instruct festival punters to batten down the hatches, so to speak.

Thankfully, only some light rain descended upon Bramham Park. The evening was largely warm, dry and cool, perhaps just as cool as Thursday’s headliners Kasabian, you might say.

And of course, the hardened British public are no strangers to a bit of damp weather. A huge turnout was present for the opening day of the festival.

Live music got underway at approximately 7.30pm on the main stage with Mancunian indie outfit Arkayla getting the festival off to a great start.

The current indie buzz-band showed that, just like the legendary bands that have come out of Manchester before them, they’ve got what it takes to go to the top.

The influence of acts such as the Stone Roses was certainly present in the band’s sound, and the fans in front of the stage loved every moment.

Wigan’s The Lathums were the precursor to the main event, with Kasabian closing out the opening day of festivities.

The Leicester lads delivered a setlist that was full of fire and brimstone. Kasabian raised the bar high for the weekend’s headliners to follow. Highlights included anthems such as Club Foot, Underdog and Shoot The Runner.

These are the kind of songs that are perfect for a festival crowd.

And with a gargantuan runway leading down to the fans from the stage, frontman Serge Pizzorno frequently ventured down the ramp to get closer to the fans.

His energy and infectious personality captivated the Leeds crowd from the off. On Thursday evening, Serge and the boys cemented their status as Leeds Festival legends.

Leeds Festival continues over the course of the weekend with the likes of Chase and Status, Charli XCX, Fontaines DC, Dave, Sombr, Violet Grohl and Florence and the Machine appearing over the course of the events four day duration.

Dunamu and Visa Partner to Explore Stablecoin Payments, AI-Driven Financial Services

Published

on

Crypto Breaking News

Dunamu, the parent entity of Upbit, has announced a strategic partnership with Visa. The partnership will explore stablecoin payments, AI-driven financial services, and international remittances.

Dunamu CEO Oh Kyung-seok and Visa Global President Oliver Jenkyn presented a roadmap for the partnership at Visa’s Global Market Support Center on August 26. However, they have not disclosed any product structure, launch date, blockchain, custody model, jurisdiction, or price details.

Dunamu and Visa Form Strategic Partnership

The partnership agreement was signed by Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited. Wu Blockchain elaborated on the partnership, saying the companies intend to combine Dunamu’s digital asset infrastructure with Visa’s global payments network. It will also explore stablecoin payments, global transfers, merchant settlements, AI-driven financial services, international remittances, and new user experiences.

“Dunamu, the operator of South Korea’s largest crypto exchange Upbit, has entered a strategic partnership with Visa to explore stablecoin payments, global remittances, and AI-driven financial services. The two sides are also considering business models based on the Open Standard dollar stablecoin OUSD. The specific service structure has not yet been determined.”

According to Dunamu and Visa, the partnership will consider applicable laws and regulatory requirements and develop services in a staggered manner. However, the announcement does not commit to a product launch or to offer stablecoin payments through Upbit. Dunamu added that the partnership will focus on regulatory compliance, transparency, interoperability, and stability. However, it did not elaborate on who would manage customer assets and compliance duties.

Meanwhile, Visa has expanded its stablecoin settlements and programmable payment work. It has also announced new infrastructure designed for AI-directed transactions, tokenized deposits, and stablecoins.

Will Open USD Be Part of the Arrangement

Dunamu and Visa also plan to evaluate business models involving the Open USD (OUSD). OUSD is a dollar-backed stablecoin developed using the Open Standard initiative. OUSD will support global payments and allows businesses to mint or redeem tokens without imposing any fee or volume limits. Open Standard lists Visa, Mastercard, BlackRock, Coinbase, and Dunamu among the organizations supporting the initiative.

However, Dunamu said in July that it did not agree to issue the OUSD stablecoin or participate in its launch and clarified it was still reviewing the proposal. The Visa partnership confirms that Dunamu will explore OUSD-based models. However, it does not clarify whether it will issue or operate the stablecoin.

Focus on Agentic Commerce

One of the partnership’s key focuses is payment infrastructure for agentic commerce. Agentic commerce is a digital shopping model in which AI models search, compare, select, and pay for products or services on behalf of users. Dunamu and Visa plan to explore the technology that supports the authorization, payment, and settlement for transactions completed by agentic commerce models. However, they have not disclosed how users will approve purchases, set spending limits, or dispute any transaction initiated and executed by AI agents.

AI purchases also raise several questions involving identity, consent, fraud, and liability. Additionally, stablecoin transactions are irreversible once completed on-chain. Visa has developed several tools to address these concerns, including AI agent verification and greater merchant control over automated transactions.

South Korean Legislation Could Affect Partnership

South Korea is yet to create a comprehensive regulatory framework for stablecoins, with lawmakers still debating who can issue won-based tokens and whether bank ownership should be mandatory. Additionally, dollar-based payment and remittance services could also be subject to the country’s anti-money laundering, foreign exchange, and virtual asset rules. Dunamu has acknowledged that regulatory developments in South Korea could affect its partnership with Visa. The company is also discussing stablecoin infrastructure with domestic technology and financial companies.

Visa and Shinhan Partnership

Visa’s partnership with Dunamu comes days after it announced a strategic agreement with the Shinhan Financial Group to test stablecoin issuance, remittance, and redemption on its payment platform. The agreement allows Shinhan to test stablecoin functions on Visa’s existing platform and create a business model that aligns with South Korea’s market. Shinhan also plans to connect Visa’s global payment network to its subsidiaries, including Shinhan Bank, Shinhan Card, and Jeju Bank. Jin Ok-dong, CEO of Shinhan Financial Group, stated that the agreement builds on its existing partnership with Visa and offers “differentiated financial experiences to customers.”

“Through this agreement, we have expanded our long-standing partnership with Visa to the broader digital finance sector.”

Matt Damon and Jon Bernthal’s Pre-’Odyssey’ Epic Is Officially a #1 Streaming Hit

Published

on

Jon Bernthal in Ford v Ferrari

There are two stars who are having an unforgettable year so far in 2026: Matt Damon and Jon Bernthal. While both stars can be seen starring in Christopher Nolan’s latest $1 billion-grossing blockbuster hit, they’ve also found success on other projects both on streaming and in theaters. Damon teamed up with Ben Affleck earlier this year for The Rip, the straight-to-streaming crime thriller that earned over 100 million views during its initial viewing window to become one of the top 10 most-watched Netflix movies of the year. As for Bernthal, he reunited with The Odyssey’s Tom Holland for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which has already crawled past $2 billion at the global box office and is eyeing a run big enough to make it one of the three or four highest-grossing movies of all time.

Years before Christopher Nolan ever had the idea to direct The Odyssey, when he was still working on Tenet, Matt Damon and Jon Bernthal starred in another epic that’s finally getting its due on streaming. The duo teamed up with Christian Bale and Outlander’s Caitríona Balfe for Ford v Ferrari, the racing epic hailing from director James Mangold and writers Jez and John-Henry Butterworth and Jason Keller. Seven years after Ford v Ferrari more than doubled its $97 million budget with a $226 million box office performance, the film is still without a streaming home in America, but that isn’t stopping fans from watching the movie in droves. Ford v Ferrari has become one of the top 10 most popular rentals and purchases on VOD platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV in America and in several countries around the world.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

From Public Housing to Policy Change

Published

on

From Public Housing to Policy Change

Manuel Rivera was born on November 27, 1958, and raised in a New York City public housing development. His earliest lessons in advocacy came from watching neighbors organize for better living conditions and fair treatment.

These were not abstract political movements. They were families fighting to keep the lights on and maintain basic dignity.

“I was just a kid watching neighbors fight to keep the lights on,” Rivera recalls. “It taught me that community power isn’t abstract. It’s what keeps families going.”

Those formative years planted seeds that would shape his entire career. Rivera saw firsthand who got heard and who didn’t. He decided early that he wanted to stand with the people who weren’t being heard.

Building a Foundation in Education and Social Work

Rivera attended Sara J. Hale High School in New York City before pursuing higher education at SUNY Stony Brook. He studied political science as an undergraduate and went on to earn a master’s degree in social work from the same institution. This combination gave him both the theoretical framework and practical tools to turn his early observations into tangible action.

“Growing up in public housing, you see quickly who gets heard and who doesn’t,” he explains. “I decided early that I wanted to stand with the people who weren’t being heard.”

His education equipped him with the skills to translate community needs into policy language, but his real classroom had always been the housing development where he grew up.

A Career Focused on Housing and Homelessness

Manuel dedicated his professional life to addressing homelessness and expanding access to affordable housing in New York City. He worked to create housing opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness, focusing on long-term stability rather than temporary fixes.

His approach was rooted in a simple but powerful belief. “Housing is the start,” Rivera says. “Without it, people can’t stabilize their health, their work, their families. Everything else breaks down.”

He understood that housing was more than shelter. It was the foundation that allowed people to access healthcare, maintain employment, and build stable family lives. Without that base, every other intervention fell short.

“Housing is not just shelter,” he emphasizes. “It’s dignity. It’s safety. It’s the base for everything else.”

Rivera’s work was deeply informed by lived experience. He brought a perspective that policy documents alone could never capture. “When you sit across from someone who has nowhere to go, the issue stops being abstract. You focus on solutions.”

Leading the NYC Black and Latino LGBTQ Coalition

Rivera became Chairperson of the NYC Black and Latino LGBTQ Coalition, a citywide coalition uniting LGBTQ organizations across New York City to promote equity and inclusion. The role allowed him to bridge communities and issues that were too often treated as separate.

“There was too much siloing,” Rivera observed. “You’d have one group fighting for health equity, another for housing rights, and a third for trans justice. But it’s the same people facing all of it. We needed to connect the dots.”

His leadership focused on coalition building and intersectional advocacy. Rivera recognized that LGBTQ individuals, especially those who were low-income or housing insecure, were navigating multiple systems at once.

“When you’re queer, low-income, and housing insecure, you’re not just fighting one system,” he notes. “You’re navigating all of them.”

This understanding shaped his approach to coalition work. He brought together organizations that might otherwise operate in parallel, creating a unified front that could advocate more effectively for the community’s most vulnerable members.

Now retired from full-time work, Manuel continues to serve the LGBTQ community as Chairperson of the Consumer Advisory Board and a member of the Board of Directors at GMHC (Gay Men’s Health Crisis). The organization has long been a pillar of HIV/AIDS advocacy and LGBTQ health services in New York City.

In his leadership roles at GMHC, Rivera provides guidance on community needs and program development. He ensures that the organization’s work reflects the realities of the people it serves.

“If a policy doesn’t reflect their reality, it won’t work,” he says.

His approach remains grounded in the same principles that guided his earlier career. He listens first. He centers the voices of those most affected. And he insists that solutions come from the community itself.

“Communities know what they need,” Rivera explains. “The role of leadership is to listen and then act.”

He was recognized with the Leadership and Public Service Award from the GMHC Black History Month Committee, an acknowledgment of his dedication to the community he serves.

A Philosophy Rooted in Lived Experience

Throughout his career, Rivera has maintained that the best ideas come from those closest to the problem. “Ideas start with listening,” he says. “Growing up in public housing, I saw that the best solutions came from residents themselves.”

This philosophy has guided his work in housing advocacy, LGBTQ coalition building, and health equity. He brings meticulous preparation to his roles, understanding that effective advocacy requires both data and community perspective.

“Preparation made me productive,” he notes. “If I walked into a meeting without knowing the data or the community perspective, I was not doing my job.”

Rivera’s work has always been about more than policy. It’s about people. It’s about creating systems that recognize the full humanity of those they serve.

“We’re not talking about abstract policy,” he emphasizes. “We’re talking about people trying to find a safe place to live and being turned away, ignored, or priced out.”

A Legacy of Community Power

Manuel Rivera’s career offers a model for effective advocacy. He has shown that lasting change comes from those who live the issues they fight for and who stay in the fight over the long term.

“Change doesn’t come from the top,” Rivera reflects. “It comes from people who live the fight and stay in it.”

His work has connected housing justice, LGBTQ rights, and health equity in ways that reflect the interconnected realities of marginalized communities. He has demonstrated that policy is powerful only when it reflects real lives.

“Policy is powerful,” he says. “But policy only works if it reflects real lives.”

From his childhood in public housing to his leadership at GMHC, Rivera has remained committed to the principle that community power is not abstract. It’s what keeps families going. It’s what creates lasting change. And it’s what continues to drive his work today.
