Alsace Rocks Consumer Walk Around Tasting – Chef Lewis Barker

Alsace Rocks Consumer Walk Around Tasting

Fresh from retaining two Michelin stars at Terre at Castlemartyr Resort, Executive Chef Lewis Barker is in Dublin for a one-night-only takeover at Library Street on Monday, 27th April, 2026.  Barker is bringing the team from Terre to deliver a specially created four-course menu that introduces his culinary DNA to the city.

Before arriving in Cork in late 2025, he spent a decade in heavyweight kitchens from Europe to Australia and Singapore, becoming the youngest chef in Singapore to win a Michelin star at just 27. Now at Terre, he’s evolving that global experience into something that’s also deeply connected to and reflective of his immediate Cork and wider Irish landscape.

It’s also an opportunity to catch a chef of this calibre in a room this relaxed and intimate, doing exactly what he does best.

The four-course menu is €150 per person (+ booking fee), with a wine pairing available for €79. Seats are extremely limited and the evening begins from 6.30pm.

Venue:  Library Street Restaurant, 101 Setanta Place D02 W3Y7 Dublin 2

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.

Great silk shirts are so hard to find these days, but I’ve had good luck with Vince’s offerings in the past, and this grey floral print is absolutely lovely. If you’re looking for effortless elegance, you’re in the right place.

I would wear this blouse with a navy suit for a killer business formal look or with a flowy skirt for something a little more casual.

The blouse is $468 at Nordstrom and comes in sizes XXS-XL. It also comes in a navy print.

Sales of note for 5/29:

Amazon Sundays: Summer Play Edit

Amazon Sundays: Summer Play Edit

This week’s Amazon Sunday is all about the activities I’m leaning on to keep my girls busy as school winds down and summer begins. Right now, with the weather so beautiful, they love being outside, so I rounded up a mix of toys and games they can play with by the pool, in the backyard, or out in the garden.

For days when it gets too hot, or when they just want to play inside, I love easy activities they can do all on their own. A few finds that get them thinking and creating independently, like tracing boards, sparkly markers, and colorful blocks. It’s a fun mix of outdoor play, creativity, and little learning moments to kick off summer break.

Browse the full edit below, and explore more in our JB Amazon Shop and Amazon Storefront, refreshed weekly.

Every Outfit I Wore in May

May wasn’t quite summer yet, but the styling leaned that way from the first day. Tropical travels set the rhythm early — bold prints, raffia and straw, statement earrings, easy sandals — and those resort pieces kept finding their way into the in-between days at home. Citrus and orange ran through the first half, often layered with patterned pants and a bohemian, color-full ease. A softer 70s turn ran underneath in fluid shapes and prints that felt new again, and florals stayed close from start to finish. By the final week my Daily Looks felt fully summer-ready, and what’s still in rotation feels exactly right for where June is heading next.

A Clean Home Is the Backdrop Every Style Lover Deserves

For anyone who lives and breathes style, the home is never just a place to sleep. It is a backdrop for photos, a space for getting ready, a setting where outfits come together and content gets made. A cluttered, dusty room undermines all of that, no matter how good the look. That is why choosing […]

Orange in the Sun - Julia Berolzheimer

Every summer there ends up being one color that starts to define the season for me, and this year it’s shaping up to be shades of orange. It started showing up in the pieces I kept saving, and now orange has become the common thread running through the resort looks I’m pulling together for the new few months ahead.

There are so many shades to play with across an orange spectrum. Some pieces feel more reminiscent of coral, others tangerine, and some are closer to saffron or rust. That range makes the color feel easier to wear, pairing back to contrasting colors or other variations of the hue with ease. Instead of one loud note, it becomes a whole summer palette, working just as well in a small accessory as it does in the piece you build the whole look around.

Tops for the Season - Julia Berolzheimer

Zimmermann TopPareo & ScarfSensi Studio BagBritt Netta Sandals

A great summer top might be the hardest-working piece in your closet this time of year. There’s no sweater to layer on top, no coat to finish the look. It has to stand on its own, which means it has to feel special enough to do exactly that.

It’s why a fresh rotation of tops feels like such a priority heading into the season. I think a lot about what’s worth adding to the mix, the kind I can pull on with the shorts, linen pants, and or a breezy skirt.  A scarf print, a tie shoulder, a bit of embroidery, crochet, or raffia trim can make a top feel like the whole outfit, which is exactly the job a great summer top is meant to do.
