Four people have been arrested and 977 devices have been seized for illegally selling smart TV boxes through the internet. These were seized in a joint operation of B/T/R/C and RAB at Mirpur and Elephant Road in the capital on Wednesday. The B/T/R/C says the sale and use of TV viewing devices is illegal.

It’s nearly time for lights…camera…action because Strictly Come Dancing Movie Week is almost upon us.

As one of the most beloved themes of the series, viewers watch as the celebrity contestants embody the nation’s favourite film characters and perform to much-loved movie soundtracks.

This year’s Movie Week will be no different, as celebrities are set to perform numbers from Paddington, Wonka and The Little Mermaid.

In the Samba corner this week are Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones, who will dance to “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid, while Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał will also Samba to the George of the Jungle theme.

Cha Cha Chas will be from Paul Merson and Karen Hauer, dancing to The Magnificent Seven theme and Wynne Evans and Katya Jones performing to Mrs Doubtfire’s “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag”.

Miranda star Sarah Hadland and her partner Vito Coppola will perform a Viennese Waltz to “Hedwig’s Theme” from Harry Potter, while Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu will perform the same style to “If I Can Dream” from the 2022 film Elvis.

And if you didn’t already see it coming, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec will do the Rumba to Billie Eillish’s “What Was I Made For?” from Barbie. You can find the full list of dances below.

In last week’s show, Love Island star Ghouri and her pro partner Aljaž Škorjanec topped the leaderboard after receiving the first nine of the series.

Ghouri, who has previous dance experience, moved her dad in the audience to tears with her delicate Viennese Waltz to “Misty Blue” by Dorothy Moore. Their score, 35, was the highest ever for a Viennese Waltz in week two of the competition in Strictly history.

Hadland and Coppola, who stunned the audience with their intense and heated Paso Doble to “Freed From Desire” by Gala, came second on the leaderboard, following behind by three points with 32.

Shayne Ward and his partner Nancy Xu pleasantly surprised the judges as they crept up the leaderboard from last week with their sensual Tango to “The Door” by Teddy Swims. They were awarded an impressive score of 31, up 10 points from last week’s score of 21.

It was Toyah Willcox and Olympic swimmer Tom Dean who received the lowest scores and had to face the dreaded dance-off, with Dean being eliminated from the show.

EASTENDERS fans have been left in hysterics after noticing a major blunder on the show.

The moment came during Monday’s episode of the BBC soap opera during a scene involving Bianca Jackson and Kat Slater.

On the show, Bianca has been left determined to prove that Reiss Colwell is responsible for the death of his then-comatose wife Debbie and has covered this up and let Sonia take the blame.

With no one else yet having the same suspicions, Bianca has been left on her own in her attempts to prove that Reiss is not the good man that everyone makes him out to be.

But it was during one of these scenes that eagle-eyed EastEnders fans noticed a major on-screen blunder as a prop could be seen in full view of the camera.

As Bianca and Kat strolled down the street, a huge boom microphone managed to work its way into the shot as it could be seen hovering around Bianca’s leg.

It appeared that the epic blunder was missed by show chiefs with the microphone’s colour largely blending into Bianca’s grey jeans.

Laughing at the major mistake, one EastEnders fan commented online: “Nice of the microphone wind muff to make an appearance… not one to be upstaged.”

It left another to quip: “This would have definitely ended up on Harry Hill‘s TV Burp or It’ll Be Alright On The Night!

“How did it manage to go through editing without people noticing?”

Before a third penned: “The way it just creeps up into shot is sending me.”

Whilst someone else said: “Editing team probably were half asleep.”

The producer of Sherlock has shared her views on the possibility of a new series – and her comments will undoubtedly excite fans of the BBC show.

Sherlock starred Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Amanda Abbington, who has this year been embroiled in a Strictly Come Dancing scandal.

The show drew to a close with a divisive fourth series in 2017 – but it seems there has always been hope it would return as producer Sue Vertue revealed the set is “still in storage somewhere”.

Speaking at Amazon Prime Video’s Trailblazers event on Monday (1 October), Vertue was asked about the fate of the show, which was created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.

“We love that show and there is a future for it,” Vertue told Deadline, adding: “One day. Maybe. If everyone wants to do it.

“I’ve still got the set in storage somewhere, which is probably rotten, to be honest with you. It’s just getting everybody aligned – it’s getting the actors to want to do it.”

Cumberbatch plays the literary detective, created by Arthur Conan Doyle, with Freeman playing his partner Doctor John Watson.

In all, there have been 13 episodes of the hit show, including four series and a special. While the majority of the show’s episodes were acclaimed by fans, a shock twist in the series four premiere was branded “inherently bad” by long-time viewers.

“The Six Thatchers” saw the show’s female lead Mary Watson – who was played by Abbington – dramatically killed off.

Her character was seen leaping in front of a bullet aimed at Cumberbatch’s protagonist, and fans watched on as she died begging her husband, Watson, to look after their newborn baby.

Speaking about her character’s death at a press conference, Abbington revealed she’d known about the twist for some time. “Steven and Mark told me. It was either going to be something like that, or being hit by a bus… just something quite random.”

She continued: “It’s a dream for an actor. You can kind of just be completely self-indulgent and think, ‘I can go to town with this!’ – and I probably did a bit.”

​Cumberbatch himself stated that “it was a very upsetting scene to film. It’s a big moment – two became three, and then this incredibly important part of what Sherlock is suddenly is no more, in the most violent way imaginable”.

Gatiss said: “Mary’s been dead for 100 years, so it’s hard to surprise people in those circumstances. The only thing we could do was do it earlier than people expected, so that it would happen as wrenchingly and as horrifically as such things happen in real life.

“We’ve obviously been very true to [Arthur Conan] Doyle and also very untrue,” he elaborated. “So we didn’t necessarily have to do this. But it just felt absolutely right for us to do it.”
