Anti-Zionists attacked in Jerusalem as ethnofascists chant race-hate

Jerusalem

Ethno-fascist colonisers have again marched through Jerusalem chanting Islamophobic and genocidal slogans, while peaceful anti-Zionist marchers were attacked by police and by Zionist onlookers.

The anti-Zionist march in solidarity with oppressed Palestinians was “brutally suppressed”, despite being orderly and entirely non-violent:

Heavily-protected Zionist extremists, meanwhile, stormed through the city chanting “Death to Arabs”, “May your village burn” and other anti-Palestinian slogans:

The fascist marchers also attacked Palestinian shopkeepers and passersby. In classic language to obscure reality that is regularly mimicked by UK ‘mainstream’ media, Israeli police and news channels described these as “clashes” “breaking out”:

The racist chants and attacks are a regular feature of colonial supremacists’ posturing. Britain’s chief rabbi, Ephraim Mirvis, has participated in the hate marches, yet is never challenged about this when he claims that “anti-Zionism is antisemitism”. Extremist ‘security minister’ Itamar Ben-Gvir is an enthusiastic participant, regularly taking a gang of thugs and guards to storm the Al Aqsa mosque, which is one of Islam’s holiest sites.

Bill Cassidy’s last stand?

Published

on

Senate candidate Julia Letlow greets supporters at a campaign stop at Hammond Northshore Regional Airport on May 6, 2026.

Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy is on the ropes.

The Republican is fighting for his political life as he fends off two primary challengers capitalizing on MAGA outrage over his 2021 impeachment vote against President Donald Trump. In Louisiana, there’s a growing belief that Cassidy wont be able to overcome strong headwinds to even nab a run-off spot in the primary election on Saturday, according to nearly a dozen interviews with GOP officials, lawmakers and strategists in the state.

Should Cassidy finish third and lose outright, it would mark a stunning defeat for the two-term incumbent and herald a significant win for Trump in his grudge match against Republicans who cross him.

“When it comes to stabbing Trump in the back with that vote to impeach, the memories are very long,” said Kevin Berken, the Jefferson Davis Parish GOP chair, who opposes Cassidy in the race and is leaning toward supporting Fleming.

Most polling puts Cassidy in third place, behind Trump-endorsed Rep. Julia Letlow and State Treasurer John Fleming, another MAGA candidate. Cassidy was ostracized by the state Republican Party following his impeachment vote. Trump has continued to slam him as “very disloyal,” urging Louisiana Republicans to vote him out.

The Louisiana GOP primary is the latest stop in Trump’s revenge tour this month, with a number of his biggest enemies fighting for reelection. It began in Indiana, where the president and his allies successfully ousted five state lawmakers as punishment for refusing to redraw congressional lines in favor of the GOP. After Cassidy’s race, Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie is up next with his primary on May 19.

Still, in Louisiana, Trump hasn’t done much to boost his chosen candidate.

On Friday, he reupped his support for Letlow, calling her a “TOTAL WINNER” in a post on Truth Social. But beyond a few posts online, Trump has been largely silent, despite pushing her into the race in January with his endorsement. He continues to withhold his massive $300 million-plus MAGA Inc. war chest and did not make an appearance on her behalf during the campaign.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Senate candidate Julia Letlow greets supporters at a campaign stop at Hammond Northshore Regional Airport on May 6, 2026.

The Cassidy campaign has said it is well aware of the challenges confronting them, but they remain confident about the senator’s chances given his record in Congress. Cassidy Campaign Manager Mark Harris said this week that their data shows the incumbent will likely not finish first but is in a good position to qualify for the run-off, thanks in part to a high number of non-party voters casting ballots in Louisiana’s closed primary.

“It’s sort of Julia’s to lose in the first round,” Harris said. “Our data indicates we have a very strong chance to put together a winning coalition, and then [win] in the run-off.”

But Cassidy’s history of frustrating MAGA goes beyond just the impeachment vote. He rankled the MAGA faithful — and the emerging Make America Healthy Again coalition — by sharply questioning Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on vaccines during his Senate confirmation. He further angered the MAHA movement by helping block the nomination of health influencer Casey Means to be U.S. Surgeon General.

His actions have pushed the Kennedy-aligned MAHA PAC to pledge spending $1 million on Letlow’s behalf as they seek to oust Cassidy — though the influence of its spending remains to be seen.

“MAHA issues are in fact central to this race and to races all around the country, where in many cases they poll higher than most other issues for voters, especially for the all-important undecided voters,” MAHA PAC leader Tony Lyons previously told POLITICO in a text. “It’s true that Big Pharma and big food would like to convince voters otherwise, but Julia Letlow is a strong insurgent candidate and she will win.”

Nonpartisan polling shows Cassidy trailing both Fleming and Letlow, with an Emerson College Survey from late April putting him at 21 percent support, behind Fleming at 28 percent and Letlow at 27 percent. Cassidy’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment.

“What we’ve known all along is now becoming clear to everyone watching this race: Julia Letlow has the support, the momentum, and the trust of Louisiana Republicans,” said Katherine Thordahl, Letlow campaign spokesperson, in a statement. “Unfortunately for Bill Cassidy, Louisianans have never forgotten Bill Cassidy’s vote to convict President Trump, which remains the defining contrast in this race.”

Cassidy’s path to a run-off isn’t completely closed.

He’s benefitting from the anti-Cassidy MAGA vote being split between Letlow and Fleming, who has summoned strong grassroots support throughout his campaign. Fleming has declared himself the most conservative candidate in the race, pointing to his record as a member of the House Freedom Caucus. He also served as a White House aide during Trump’s first administration as deputy chief of staff.

“Neither one of them can claim a stronger conservative voting record,” Fleming said in an interview. “Between them, I stand alone so I think that’s the real driver of my lead on this.”

Senate candidate John Fleming greets supporters at a Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on May 12, 2026.

Berken said in an interview he was leaning toward supporting Fleming due to his conservative credentials. “I know what I get with John Fleming, and even though President Trump endorsed Julia, I think he did that at Governor Landry’s behest,” he said, referring to GOP Gov. Jeff Landry’s campaign to elect Letlow to the Senate.

Letlow and Fleming have spent the final days of the campaign attacking each other, a sign that they expect to face each other in the run-off — or that they believe Cassidy may end up pulling off a surprising rise if they continue to split the MAGA vote.

Cassidy, meanwhile, continues to train all of his fire on Letlow in the home stretch. The senator has attempted to cast her as insufficiently conservative, nicknaming her “Liberal Letlow” and hammering her for past comments she made in support of diversity initiatives in higher education. Letlow has since disavowed those programs, arguing they have been hijacked by the left.

By going so hard against Letlow, “Cassidy’s committing murder suicide,” said one Louisiana GOP strategist who’s unaffiliated in the race, granted anonymity to speak freely. The strategist predicted that Fleming would emerge with the most votes.

Letlow, in response to negative campaigning from both of her opponents, has made Trump’s endorsement the centerpiece of her campaign, offered up as proof she passes the MAGA litmus test.

“What I’m hearing is this actually looks pretty, pretty tight, with a lot of undecideds right now,” said Jamey Sandefur, chair of the Livingston Parish GOP. “I’m getting the sense that a lot of people are walking into the booth and deciding when they get there.”

“I’ve always thought that endorsements don’t really matter, but I have heard a lot of people tell me that the Trump endorsement of Congresswoman Letlow is going to be the deciding factor for them,” he said. “So that’s playing in the race a lot more than I had expected.”

Labour: enemies of the people

Published

Labour: enemies of the people

If anything, Corbyn’s Labour was even more of an affluent middle-class and graduate-class vehicle than it had been under Tony Blair. The make-up of its greatly enlarged membership suggests as much. As a Labour Sheffield City councillor reported in a Fabian Society article in 2015: ‘The vast majority of new members come from the middle classes, the public sector and BAME [Black, Asian and minority ethnic] communities, all sharing a distinctly cosmopolitan outlook.’ As a result, ‘the membership of wards in middle-class areas is growing much faster than wards in working-class areas. Membership is also growing fastest in London and slowest in the north east’.

According to reports from 2016, a disproportionate number of Labour members who joined after the 2015 General Election were ‘high-status city dwellers’. This finding was reinforced in 2019 by Tim Bale, professor of politics at Queen Mary University of London. He concluded that ‘Labour members are definitely more middle class than the average voter’.

The 2017 General Election result flattered to deceive Corbyn’s Labour. Its promise to respect the Brexit vote kept a portion of Leave voters onside, while its ‘progressive’ posturing had secured its support among graduates and affluent middle-class voters. Yet its 40 per cent vote share did not tell the whole story. The populist revolt unleashed by Brexit was now beginning to find expression through the Tory vote. The Conservatives increased their vote share in Brexit-voting, working-class Red Wall Labour seats by an average of 10 per cent – nearly five points above the rise in their national vote share. Remarkably, the Tories also won a higher proportion of the working-class vote than Labour: 44 per cent versus 42 per cent, according to YouGov.

At the subsequent 2019 General Election, the Red Wall did turn blue. It should not have come as a surprise. After 2017, Labour, with Keir Starmer serving as shadow Brexit secretary, had effectively set about trying to thwart Brexit. Its MPs, many of New Labour provenance, frequently joined in the wider media attack on working-class Leave voters. They painted them as fascists-in-waiting and dupes of malevolent actors. In response, those voters switched decisively to the Tories, delivering Boris Johnson’s government an 80-seat majority on 44 per cent of the vote.

Tory gains included Bishop Auckland, Bassetlaw, Wakefield, Leigh and Don Valley, all of which had been Labour-held since before the Second World War. The Conservatives even took Bolsover, former Labour stalwart Dennis Skinner’s old seat, which Labour had never previously lost.

The 2019 election was a watershed. It demonstrated once and for all that any representational link between Labour and the labouring classes had been well and truly broken. New Labour had treated school leavers and the non-graduate class as a problem – an obstacle to be overcome in the pursuit of globalisation and ‘progress’. The Labour Party of the post-Brexit Corbyn years, brimful with bourgeois identitarians, only reinforced the party’s hostility to working-class communities. And in its opposition to Brexit – in its attempt to thwart the democratically expressed will of the people – Labour became, in the eyes of many, the vehicle of their class enemy.

Five years on, little has changed. We are constantly told by privately educated, middle-class champions of Starmer’s Labour government that this is the most working-class cabinet in history – if you haven’t heard, it is led by a toolmaker’s son. Yet it is also true that many of its leading figures, from Yvette Cooper to David Lammy to Ed Miliband – not to mention the returning king himself, Andy Burnham – are veterans of the New Labour years. More broadly, in terms of MP intake, membership and voter base – not to mention its broad ‘progressive’, globalist outlook – Labour remains as thoroughly estranged from its original class base as ever.

It won the 2024 General Election largely in spite of itself, on a tellingly low turnout of just 59.7 per cent. The extraordinary unpopularity of the Tories was Labour’s only real asset. It did not win back substantial working-class support, the base of the populist revolt. Many of those voters either stayed home or opted for Reform UK. Labour’s success rested, as it has for over a decade, on the affluent, ‘progressive’ middle class. It is now a party so far removed from those it once represented that it can scarcely see them anymore.

Indeed, as a recent British Election study showed, for the first time ever, the proportion of voters in the highest income bracket – earning more than £70,000 – who say they intend to vote Labour is higher than the proportion of those in the lowest income bracket – earning under £30,000 – planning to back the party. It is a party of the posh and ‘progressive’. Of the pro-migrant and anti-Brexit. Of people who think the only thing the great unwashed want is a bit more welfare.

Over the past 20 or so months, Labour has exposed its social and intellectual exhaustion. Technocratic in style, globalist in aspiration, and culturally antagonistic towards the nation’s working-class heartlands, it has demonstrated time and again that it has no answers to the problems Britain now faces. It continues to double down on the green war against industry. It remains incapable, ideologically and logistically, of securing the nation’s borders. And, egged on by Britain’s cultural and media elites, it continues to posit rejoining the EU as the solution to all our woes.

Alongside all this, it continues to libel England’s working classes – just as Brown did Gillian Duffy – as bigoted. Indeed, it continues to paint the largely working-class-backed Reform and the wider populist pushback as ‘far right’, proto-fascist or, in Keir Starmer’s recent words, the trailblazers of a ‘very dark path’.

It is this demonisation of the increasingly assertive populist opposition to Labour and the broader political class that is most revealing. Labour is disdaining people’s demands for national and cultural security. It is ignoring their calls for new industries and decent jobs rather than welfare dependency. It is dismissing their profoundly democratic desire for greater control over their lives and their nation.

If Labour thinks that simply putting a new face at the top of the party will quell the populist, largely working-class anger now stirring across the country, it is deeply mistaken. Starmer’s Labour – or indeed Burnham’s or Streeting’s – is no longer the future. It is the last dying gasp of the party forged by Blair and his allies some 30-odd years ago. It was built in opposition to the interests, values and aspirations of the working classes. And now it is likely to be destroyed by them.

March to save Lough Neagh on anniversary of historic anti-corporate win

Published

Save Lough Neagh

Save Lough Neagh

Campaign group Save Lough Neagh are set to hold a major march on Sunday, May 17 to highlight the water body’s plight from years of profiteering abuse. It will fall on the anniversary of a landmark 1986 rally against lignite mining.

Marchers will follow the same route as the 3000 who attended 40 years ago, going from The Battery Bar on the lough’s shore, to Ardboe High Cross around two miles to the south. In 1986, campaigners fought back successfully against lignite strip mining in the area, which would have had a devastating impact on the environment.

Farmers and fishers would have potentially had their livelihoods destroyed through damage to the water table, loss of farmland and water pollution. Lignite is also the filthiest form of coal, an already highly pollutive fossil fuel, so the wider implications for mining were also severe.

Energy companies such as BP Coal were ultimately forced to relent in their plans to open the area for exploitation in 1988.

Rent-seeking Earl a symbol of long environmental exploitation

The activists didn’t stop Lough Neagh ultimately entering its current dire state, however, caused again by greed. Save Lough Neagh said ahead of Sunday’s march:

Stormont has failed our Lough, putting private interests, profit and growth above our natural environment and rights to clean drinking water. Meanwhile the Earl of Shaftesbury continues to earn money on sand dredging, disturbing the fragile ecosystem, while holding the Lough back with demands.

It’s a sign of the depth of environmental exploitation in Ireland when an English Earl is still hoovering up rents from the wreckage caused. The Shaftesburys inherited Lough Neagh in the 1800s. The English aristocracy has a history of this sort of thing, having essentially wiped out Ireland’s rainforests for the sake of farming and timber. The timber was then used for Britain’s navy that helped to conquer and terrorise much of the world.

Sand dredging of the kind the Earl profits from was found to have potentially “profound negative ecological consequences“. Researchers from Queen’s University Belfast said:

We have used sonar to map the bed of Lough Neagh and we have found that where sand is extracted, it can be lowered by 10 to 20 metres and is heavily scarred.

This process of sedimentation — churning of sand and silt — could also “reduce the water clarity and quality”, and “harm wildlife throughout the ecosystem”.

More recent damage has been caused by massive local farms that were allowed to get away with pumping shit into the lough for years in the 2010s, with Save Lough Neagh blaming:

…the 5 main parties of Stormont who backed disastrous Going For Growth agri-policy, [and] give rates relief and subsidies to massive polluters.

This is likely in reference to the Democratic Unionist Party, the Ulster Unionist Party, Alliance, the Social Democratic and Labour Party, and Sinn Féin. People Before Profit can be regarded as not carrying similar blame, and backed Sunday’s march.

Packham backs campaign to Save Lough Neagh

Also backing it is celebrity environmentalist Chris Packham, who said:

The destruction of Lough Neagh is a national scandal unfolding in plain sight. One of these islands’ most important freshwater ecosystems is being sacrificed because governments and regulators have failed to act with the urgency this crisis demands.
Toxic algae, collapsing biodiversity and sewage pollution are not inevitable, they are the consequences of political choices. People marching on May 17 are standing up not only for Lough Neagh, but for every community’s right to clean water and a healthy environment.

Neoliberal policies around the world are leading to this kind of de-development, where something like clean water — once taken for granted — can no longer be guaranteed. The only way to change it is to fight back with people power, as those in 1986 did.

Declan Coney, one of the veterans from that campaign said:

I was here at the very first lignite rally in 1986 where 3000 people marched this. Fishing families, local families, farming community. They all come [sic] here to say “No, enough was enough” to the lignite and to any exploitation of the lough at all.

He continued:

Our government has let us down constantly with soundbites. Talk is cheap. Time for action now.

Watch: far-right flag-fanatics run over victim, attack locals – Setup By the Left wing for your entertainment

A group of Communist labour supporters attacked a group putting up the British flag,  Then complained that the peaceful english supporters defended themselves against yet another unprovoked attack on peaceful British citizens showing their support for Britain not the EU or the Communist socialist government of England run by the Dictator Starmer the rent boy Shagger of No 10  who supports communist socialism the same as China and North Korea and this is what a Communist Labour Government and its Communist MPs like Burnham (“They will try to tell you he isnt a communist, By his very support of the Labour movement he is a Communist”) maybe a champane communist but none the less a Communist, and did you see Burnham stand up for democracy or the british people, or worse still he didnt stand up for the children raped and soddomised by grooming gangs to his everlasting shame if he had any,  who the media are trying to portray as the king of the north more like the Donkey  of the North attached to Communist socialist ideal that have destroyed every country and its populations standard of living that this Socialist Crap has been allowed to fester.

Try Cuba, Russia, North Korea and China where if you disagree with any one in a position of authority they come round in a van and Gas you!,  yes you heard that correctly, its a proven fact, not only that but if your organs meet the need of one of there hierachy  your a “gonna” with your organs harvested.

This is Communist socialism that any one voting Labour is and has supported over the past 75 years  insidiously crawling into the corridors of power, the Civil service is rank with the stink of Communist supporting members.

All Labour MPs support it by the very fact they are in the labour party, and the Lords  support it.

Democracy is dead in Britain killed by the Conservatives and the eunuchs of the liberal party, the ball less mob ,and by the Scum in parliament that call themselves Labour MPs, and you the people are to blame for this, your proud to say you dont vote because you cant see anyone you like, well if you cant vote to keep your liberty you dont deserve it.

Thats why you get the Guardian and most other papers supporting the left wing stories to use against the people who support Britain branding them far right and you get stories denigrating and calling those who support Britain Far right as though the Communists are the ones who support you, just look at putin good old communist KGB operative, and dont forget Starmer was recruited by the Russian state when he was young so it was reported, well they dont, and never did support you,  they wanted to put all those in society who they deemed had no worth, thats you the old the labour supporter, the disabled, anyone who didnt work or support this scum,  They advocated kill chambers were do you think the Nazis and China got the idea from the, The Fabian Cociety see it papers,   the society whos members have worked tirelessly to undermine Democracy for a hundred and forty two  years, This society  controls labour and all labour Governments, as every labour prime minister has been its member, and most all of the cabinet are members they all support the communist aims dressed up as socialism by the Fabien Society, and you who dont support this communist socialist ideology are considered worthless by all politicians that support this society, thats all Labour MPSs.

Remember this, laws are made and followed in a democratic society for the benefit of all, Labour destroyed this belief in democracy  by ignoring the democratic vote to leave the EU dictatorship as indeed did the Conservatives, So now you have no obligation to follow any laws, you now dont have to follow the laws administered by corrupt judges, and officials like the Stazi that calls itself a police force in britain but supports the political view not the rule of law, if the so called enforcers of law need help turn your back on them, they are not your friends, they are your enemy and as proven they will use anything they can against you, as are judges and politicians, council oficials that support labour,  all these officials should be held to account as they are in other non democratic countries,  take a leaf out of the Ukraine book of how to deal with corrupt officials that work against the population, that dosent mean we condone violence but south american countries are going down this rout and Britain under the Labour pary is following.

A group of far-right flag-fanatics have been filmed attacking passersby in Birmingham before they ran over a man in a hit-and-run attack. The victim was hospitalised with a broken leg that required surgery to insert a pin into the shattered bone.

Around ten residents had gone along the main road in the Stirchley area of the city removing flags put up by the group. The ‘patriot’ thugs took offence and turned up to show their love for England by assaulting peaceful residents: Peaceful residents my arse a gitaters supporting the comunist labour government.

The hit-and-run victim was run down shortly after the filmed incidents. Police recovered an abandoned van nearby, which witnesses said bore the same ‘Raise the Colours’ logo. The group has denied that it condones violence.

Further far-right violence is feared on Saturday 16 May as supporters of ‘Tommy Robinson’ march across London, protected by police.

This article was written by the The Skwawkbox  a left wing scumbag media rag promoting Communism in all its forms. We have changed it as its left wing communist propaganda against the British people and the founder of this rag should have his citizenship revoked and be deported to his favorite communist country were he can push all the propaganda he likes. Voter disenfranchising, bulldozer operations, trampling democracy in India

Voter disenfranchising, bulldozer operations, trampling democracy in India

The shocking assembly election results in Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry are a result of an emboldened Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under Modi, which is finessing voter disenfranchisement and bulldozer operations.

Our webinar – where we heard from Anant Gupta, political correspondent of India’s Scroll.in, and Dipankar Bhattacharya, General Secretary of CPI(ML) Liberation – made three things clear: the brazenness of the SIR; the sheer audacity of disenfranchising millions – chiefly Muslims – in plain sight; and the use of bulldozers to rob minority populations of their livelihoods. All should shock us out of our complacency.

Fascism and Hindu supremacy are on the rise, led by Modi’s BJP, whose loyalties lie with US-backed Israel and the UAE. The billionaire Adani has long been a close ally of Modi. Both are complicit in the genocide in Gaza through corporate connections and Indian workers being sent to Israel.

SIR – Special Intensive Revision

The SIR stands for Special Intensive Revision of the electoral rolls. It was an exercise conducted by the Election Commission of India in 12 states and union territories starting in late October 2025, ahead of the 2026 assembly elections. The Election Commission presented it as a routine housekeeping exercise to clean up voter lists by removing duplicate entries, deceased persons, and those who had moved.

Gupta’s analysis shows that, in 105 seats that the BJP won in West Bengal, the total number of voters deleted during the SIR exceeds its margin of victory.

Gupta explained that the SIR in West Bengal required progeny mapping, meaning voters had to prove a family link to the 2002 electoral roll, which was exclusionary.

Alongside Muslims, married women, migrant workers, queer people, divorced women, and millions of young voters were systematically erased.

And on the eve of the elections, the BJP-controlled central government sent large contingents of paramilitary forces into West Bengal, where they still remain.

Incumbent complacency

The results are a wake-up call to the Trinamool Congress, which had ruled West Bengal since 2011 and whose leader, Mamata Banerjee, has been a key opponent of the BJP. The ruling party underestimated the scale of the SIR and was “delusional” enough to think it could still win, Gupta said.

Banerjee, while right in pointing out that SIR deletions were “anti-youth”, did not acknowledge their overwhelming targeting of Muslims and did not ideologically oppose them enough to mobilise people-power against it.

Bulldozer operations

The bulldozer is a symbol of fascist violence, Dipankar Bhattacharya rightly points out in the webinar. It involves both the state and a section of fascist social forces that spearhead and celebrate the violence. JCB remains the primary instrument; the British company is synonymous with home demolitions.

India has been running a systematic eviction campaign against Muslims of Bengali origin in Assam – over 100,000 people have lost their homes across 33 operations since 2021. And the BJP’s SIR-engineered victory in West Bengal has been followed by a wave of Hindu supremacist violence, with Muslim shops and places of worship demolished; statues, including those of Lenin and of Adivasi anti-colonial fighters Sidhu and Kanhu, pulled down; and opposition party offices set on fire.

Conclusion: people, not courts

The SIR is not simply a mechanism for denying citizens the right to vote. It is part of an arsenal of laws and initiatives geared towards ethnic cleansing, which have led to mass detentions and deportations of Indian Muslims.

Already, the new BJP government in West Bengal has announced that those excluded from electoral rolls will also be denied welfare benefits.

There is no institutional remedy left. The Election Commission has abandoned neutrality. The Supreme Court has failed. International courts offer little. The only path forward is for the people to unite to face the rapid escalation of fascism.

India is now staring at a crisis started by Trump – Modi’s friend – and his delusional war on Iran. With only 60 days of oil reserves, India’s import-dependent economy is facing catastrophic shortages, while Modi is currently on another foreign trip to the UAE.

In the wake of Partition, communists in Bengal succeeded in thwarting the Hindu supremacist forces through building powerful mass movements and cultural interventions. Today, the need of the hour is for the left and progressive forces to close ranks and stand with the people to resist the Modi regime’s fascist design.

Colorado governor says he will grant clemency to Trump-aligned election conspiracy theorist

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said Friday that he will grant clemency to Tina Peters, a former county clerk and darling of election conspiracy theorists who was serving a nine-year prison sentence for allowing unauthorized access to voting machines after the 2020 election.

Polis, a Democrat, told CNN that he is halving her sentence, meaning she could be paroled within a month after accounting for time already served for aiding efforts to overturn the presidential election.

The Colorado governor said his decision came after Peters acknowledged her wrongdoing in an application for leniency, which was obtained by CNN. POLITICO has not independently reviewed the document.

Polis told CNN he believed Peters’ was unfairly punished for free expression in her comments alleging fraud in the 2020 election.

“I hope that Democrats don’t sacrifice our deeply held belief in free speech because of political expediency or disregard for what people are saying,” Polis told CNN. “There should be no consideration of what we say, how unpopular it is, how inaccurate it is in sentencing or in criminal proceedings.”

Polis’ decision followed months of intense pressure from President Donald Trump, who issued his own symbolic pardon of Peters last year, but cannot grant clemency for violations of state law.

Trump has repeatedly called on Polis to free Peters, and his pressure campaign came as his administration has taken a series of actions to slash funding to and litigate against Colorado. Also in December, Trump vetoed a bipartisan bill meant to bring clean water to the state, the first and only veto of his second term.

Polis told CNN he spoke with Trump privately about Peters’ case, but insisted he granted her clemency after “looking at the merits of the case.”

The Democratic governor, who has occasionally bucked his own party, suggested he was weighing granting Peters clemency in March, after a former Democratic state senator was sentenced to probation and community service after being convicted of similar charges.

“Justice in Colorado and America needs to be applied evenly, you never know when you might need to depend on the rule of law,” he wrote on X.

Peters was convicted on four state felony charges in August 2024 by a Colorado jury after she fraudulently gave a right-wing activist affiliated with MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell access to the Mesa County election system.

She was unrepentant in her sentencing hearing two months later, telling the court that she’d “never done anything with malice to break the law.”

Peters’ conviction was upheld by an appeals court in April, but ruled that the lower court’s decision to impose a nine-year sentence was too harsh.

In a statement issued before Polis’ decision on Friday, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold, a Democrat now running for attorney general, strongly urged Polis not to grant leniency to Peters.

“Peters organized the breach of the election equipment, broke the public trust and attacked the very foundations of our democratic process,” she said. “Her actions are still being used to try to undermine the 2026 election. She should get no special treatment by the Governor, and his statement is shocking and worrisome.”

Peters’ case has long attracted the attention of prominent Republicans, including Trump, who falsely argue that former President Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election was fraudulent.

“Democrats have been relentless in their targeting of TINA PETERS, a Patriot who simply wanted to make sure that our Elections were Fair and Honest,” Trump wrote on Truth Social in December. “Tina is sitting in a Colorado prison for the ‘crime’ of demanding Honest Elections.”

The top UK intelligence scrutiny body has warned that critical files on disgraced Labour politician Peter Mandelson are being withheld. The Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC) said key documents related to the case had not been made available by Keir Starmer’s government.

The BBC reported on 15 May:

Lord Beamish, chair of the committee tasked with reviewing the documents, said Lord Mandelson’s vetting file was one example of a document that had been kept back.

He said the government may have good reasons to withhold some material but did not have the authority to do so and ministers should seek MPs’ approval to retain certain pieces of information.

Revelations about Labour grandee Mandelson’s long friendship with late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein have plunged the Starmer regime into crisis.

Mandelson is also deeply linked to the right-wing Labour Together project which successfully undermined the Jeremy Corbyn leadership. He had been picked to be UK ambassador to the US. Now his career lies in tatters.

There are also questions about the liberal use of redactions on the material in question:

A Cabinet Office spokesperson said the government was:

working to publish as much material as we can as soon as possible.

Tory and Lib Dem politicians clearly smell blood. Tory shadow minister Alex Burghart said:

It is outrageous that Labour are trying to withhold documents about the Mandelson-Epstein affair from Parliament.

Mandelson — government cover up, again

Lib Dem leader Ed Davey said:

This thing reeks. Why is the government trying to cover up, again, the scale of the Mandelson mess? What could be worse than what we’ve already seen?

MPs voted that all relevant files should be released.

The BBC said:

In his statement, Lord Beamish said the committee has reached a decision on all the redactions requested by government in the 337 documents referred to it, and that it is now for the government to publish the documents within 28 sitting days.

However, he listed a number of concerns about how the government had responded to the humble address.

The Canary has reported:

The rules in place to protect British national security were suspended to allow Mandelson to participate in, and profit from, highly sensitive briefings, meetings, and intelligence. A coordinated “protection racket” for Blair’s disciples, by Starmer’s handlers.

The Labour party’s increasingly cartel-mindset and the ensuing damage of the Mandelson is yet to receive the attention it deserves. Starmer, in particular, has been left off the hook.

Keir Starmer came to power having made a lot of promises, as our readers will be well aware… One which stands out today is a 2020 pledge for a “transparency revolution”:

Starmer looks like he might not last much longer. It seems fitting that this latest revelation about his tendency towards authoritarianism and secrecy could be one of the final nails in his political coffin. Starmer looks destined for the dustbin of history. Few will be sad to see him go.

Occupation forces have again attacked Gaza, launching a heavy bombardment on Gaza City. The well-known Moataz Tower, one of the few tall buildings still standing, was hit and is now ablaze:

As night fell, the intensity of the fire became clear:

A pattern of murder in Gaza

Following its usual pattern, the occupation military’s excuse for murdering potentially hundreds of civilians was that it was targeting a ‘Hamas leader’:

Yesterday, 14 May 2026, several people were wounded after parts of a damaged building collapsed on them as they were clearing rubble from an earlier attack:

Israel’s bombing of Gaza and its starvation blockade have never paused, despite the supposed ceasefire in place since autumn 2025. Israel is a terror state and the UK continues to equip and enable it.
