Toyah Willcox took an awkward swipe at her fellow Strictly star Chris McCausland in an uncomfortable moment on Strictly: It Takes Two.

It came as Toyah was being interviewed alongside her pro partner Neil Jones after getting the boot on Sunday night’s show.

Toyah was eliminated after being in the dance off against Paul Merson, and made a pit stop at the spin-off show tonight to reflect on her time in the competition.

Host Fleur East asked her: “You are such a tightknit group as well this year, do you have any advice or tips for the other celebs?”

Toyah laughed and started clapping, before pointing at the camera and shouting: “If you don’t want to do a dance off, get rid of Chris!”

She then cackled and fell into Neil’s lap while Neil and Fleur looked on and laughed awkwardly.

Fleur then looked off camera and grimaced while Toyah then clarified: “You are all going to have to face a dance off.”

Attempting to move the conversation on, Neil then quipped: “I think she has chosen her winner already.”

Chris has proved a favourite on the show so far and he and partner Dianne Buswell scored 30 points at the weekend for their Wayne’s World inspired performance.

Toyah’s surprising comment did not going unnoticed by viewers watching at home, who took to social media to react.

One wrote on X: “Was Toyah trying to throw Chris under the bus!!”

A second chipped in: Was it panic I saw on their faces when Toyah said ‘get rid of Chris if you don’t want to do a dance off ‘ …little does she realise Chris is a 100x better dancer than she waViwVis and he is there on merit.”

A third fumed: “That was such a nasty dig Toyah just made at Chris. Malicious, vicious and jealous. Good riddance you old bag!”

And a fourth said: “Toyah was a bit mean about Chris on it takes two.”

On a lighter note, Neil was full of praise for Toyah as he was asked to give her some parting words.

He said: ” See you soon, you are not getting rid of me. You have got me for life now.

He continued: “Toyah has been brilliant. We have laughed so much, we have had so much fun and we have had some really great conversations as well.”

Call Her Daddy host Alexandra Cooper said she knew her interview with Vice President Kamala Harris would divide her fanbase but has defended the sit-down.

The Democratic presidential nominee appeared on the mega-popular sex-positive podcast series in an episode that aired Sunday, less than a month before the election. In a clip that played before the interview, Cooper explained her decision to have Harris on the show.

“As you guys know, I do not usually discuss politics or have politicians on the show because I want Call Her Daddy to be a place that everyone feels comfortable tuning in,” she said in a piece to the camera.

She continued: “I talk about topics like mental health, relationships, sex, sexuality, trauma. Overall, my focus is women and the day-to-day issues that we face… At the end of the day, I couldn’t see a world in which one of the main conversations of this election is women and I’m not a part of it.”

She also addressed the fact that her listeners are ideologically diverse. Call Her Daddy was formerly owned by the conservative media company Barstool Sports until Cooper signed a distribution deal with Spotify in 2021 worth $60m (it is now distributed by SiriusXM).

“I am so aware I have a very mixed audience when it comes to politics,” she said. “My goal today is not to change your political affiliation.”

Cooper added that her crew had reached out to Harris’s opponent Donald Trump.

“If he also wants to have a meaningful and in-depth conversation about women’s rights in this country, then he is welcome on Call Her Daddy anytime,” she said.

Despite the explanation, comments on Cooper’s Instagram were flooded with angry Trump supporters, some of whom called her interview with Harris “propaganda.”

“Alex, you should know your fan base is mostly conservatives. Trump 2024,” one comment read.

“One of my most favorite podcasts and now I’ll never listen again. unbelievable,” read another.

“I’m so disappointed, this feels like propaganda and trying to make her look ‘gen z,’” a third person wrote.

In a follow-up video, Cooper took fans behind the scenes for her interview with the vice president.

There, she acknowledged: “I totally understand everyone has different political opinions, but I feel really good that the entire episode is about women.”

During the episode, Harris responded to Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders saying “my kids keep me humble” and that “unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn’t have anything keeping her humble.”

“I feel sorry for [her],” Harris told Cooper.

“I don’t think she understands that there are a whole lot of women out here who, one, are not aspiring to be humble, two, a whole lot of women out here who have a lot of love in their life, family in their life, and children in their life,” she added. ”And I think it’s really important for women to lift each other up.”

Cooper also asked Harris to respond to Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance’s comment that the “entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.”

Harris told Cooper she thought the remark was “mean and mean-spirited.”

”I think that most Americans want leaders who understand that the measure of their strength is not based on who you beat down, the real measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up,” she added.

HE has barely been in the Big Brother house 24 hours and already the knives are out for Blackpool lad Ryan, who viewers are convinced is lying about his age.

The contestant has declared himself to be 28-years-old, but Big Brother fans have flooded social media with comments about his maturity.

One said: “Why is Ryan lying about his age, 28 my a***.”

Another commented: “Ryan is a transphobe with a hairline like that, he’s apparently 29, you age terribly when you’re evil.”

Meanwhile another said: “If Ryan identifies as 28, it shows that hate really does age you.”

Indeed Ryan has already divided opinion both in and outside the Big Brother house with his anti woke views, after he made a dig at those who self-identify during his introductory VT.

The northerner, who currently lives in Stockport and works in marketing and events, vowed to “shake up” the house in his piece-to-camera.

He said: “I feel like over the recent years, it’s gone a bit tame and people are in there for other motives.

“I think having someone normal like me in there will shake it up.”

But his controversial views immediately set him at odds with his fans after he said: “He said: “I think I’m strong and opinionated. There’s a lot of woke people out there.

“It’s all well and good if you want to use certain pronouns, and I get that, but it gets a bit confusing sometimes with people identifying as a spoon or whatnot.”

Following his entrance interview with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Ryan received a chorus of boos from the crowd.

The launch show saw 16 new housemates move into the Big Brother house.

Former Page Three girl and soap actress Emma Morgan, 53, is one of them.

She said: “To get this opportunity at my age, I wasn’t expecting it. I was getting ready to put my feet up and do a bit of knitting.”

And amputee footballer Thomas Atkinson, 20, from Carlisle, comes to the house fresh from captaining his side to victory in the FA Disability Cup.

The goalkeeper, who was born without a left hand, was also told he would never walk after having his left leg amputated when he was two.

But he now has a total of 26 caps with the England Amputee national team.
