Stephen Colbert may be one of late night television’s sharpest interviewers, but the comedian recently admitted that even he has struggled to stay composed around certain celebrity guests. 

During a candid conversation with fellow hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver, the longtime TV personality shared surprising confessions about several famous women who have completely thrown him off balance over the years. 

From supermodel crushes to awkward on-air attraction, Colbert’s stories quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the special.

Stephen Colbert stunned his fellow late-night hosts after revealing that supermodel Paulina Porizkova once openly admitted she was attracted to him.

The confession came during “Strike Force Five Returns To Celebrate Stephen Colbert,” where the TV host recalled one of the biggest ego boosts of his career.

When Colbert dropped Porizkova’s name, the room immediately erupted in disbelief. “Oh my God!” the other hosts reacted after hearing the revelation involving the iconic model, who famously appeared on the covers of Vogue and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Colbert admitted the moment stayed with him for years. “That was a flex that I’ve never ever been able to match,” he confessed.

The story dates back to a 2000 appearance Porizkova made on “Good Morning America” after Colbert mentioned her on his own show. During the interview, the model did not hold back while discussing her feelings about the comedian.

“If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m already very happily married, and so is he apparently, he is just my kind of guy,” she said, adding, “He’s so hot.”

At the time, Porizkova was married to Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, while Colbert had already been married to his wife, Evelyn McGee Colbert, for several years.

Colbert Says Michelle Williams Left Him Flustered

While reflecting on memorable interviews, Stephen Colbert also admitted there was one actress who completely distracted him during an appearance on his show.

The host revealed that Michelle Williams unexpectedly left him unable to focus during their first interview in 2019.

“I’ll tell you who I did not expect to be wildly attracted to. Like, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I did not know what to do with my eyeballs when Michelle Williams was on for the first time,” Colbert admitted.

According to the 62-year-old, the moment Williams sat down across from him, panic immediately set in.

“She sat down across from me and I went, ‘F-ck, what is wrong with my head?’ I’d better not look directly at her for this entire interview,” Colbert shared. 

The late-night host later praised the actress for her overall presence, highlighting both her energy and appearance. Colbert described Williams as having an incredible “vibe” and “face,” while also calling her “so beautiful.”

Stephen Colbert Admits Rachel Weisz Also Left Him Nervous

Williams was apparently not the only celebrity capable of rattling Colbert during interviews. 

The comedian also confessed he once had what he jokingly described as “a Rachel Weisz problem.”

According to the icon, the Oscar-winning actress had such an effect on him that he actively avoided her whenever she visited the studio.

“I used to have a Rachel Weisz problem,” he admitted. Colbert explained that he would sometimes “leave the building” during her visits because he worried he might embarrass himself. 

He said he feared he would say something “stupid.”

Colbert’s Career Faces Major Uncertainty After CBS Decision

Stephen Colbert’s personal revelations arrived during an especially turbulent chapter in his professional life.

Last July, the producer shocked viewers when he announced that Paramount/CBS would not renew his contract after more than a decade hosting his late-night program.

The decision also marked the end of a franchise that had existed on television for 44 years. At the time, the network insisted the cancellation was “purely a financial decision.”

However, the timing immediately sparked speculation because the announcement came shortly after Colbert criticized Paramount/CBS over its legal settlement involving President Donald Trump.

During his show, Colbert called the company’s reported $16 million settlement “a big fat bribe.” 

The controversy grew even larger because Paramount was simultaneously pursuing a massive merger with Skydance, a deal requiring approval from the Federal Communications Commission.

Recently, Bruce Springsteen delivered a blistering defense of Colbert during an appearance on the penultimate episode of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” directly accusing Trump and powerful media executives of punishing the late-night host for criticizing the president. 

As The Blast reported, Springsteen told Colbert, “I’m here in support tonight for Stephen, because you are the first guy in America who lost his show because we got a president who can’t take a joke.” 

He then escalated his criticism by targeting Larry and David Ellison, saying they “feel they need to kiss his *ss to get what they want.” 

Springsteen continued, “Stephen, these are small-minded people. They got no idea what the freedoms of this beautiful country are supposed to be about.”  

The rock legend later performed his politically charged song “Streets of Minneapolis,” which criticizes ICE raids, government overreach, and comments made by officials, including Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem. 

During the performance, messages such as “RESISTANCE,” “TRUTH,” and “HOPE” were projected behind him as he used the moment to portray Colbert as a victim of political retaliation and censorship.  

Meryl Streep and Martin Short may still refuse to publicly define their relationship, but the Hollywood pair continues fueling speculation everywhere they go. 

While the beloved stars have quietly grown closer since working together on “Only Murders in the Building,” one lingering detail has continued to surprise fans: Streep is still legally married to sculptor Don Gummer.

“Don has come to terms with the end of his marriage,” a source told the Daily Mail. The insider explained that the former couple’s decades together and shared family history made the transition incredibly difficult at first.

“They were together for such a long time and will always be connected through their children,” the source added.

Streep and Gummer share four adult children: daughters Grace, Mamie, and Louisa, and son Henry Wolfe.

According to the insider, Gummer initially worried most about how the split would affect their children because the family had always viewed their parents as inseparable.

“Don was especially worried about how the kids would take it, because seeing him with Meryl was the only version of family they had ever known,” the source revealed, adding, “The split shattered that ‘together forever’ image.”

Still, years of communication reportedly helped the family slowly adapt to the new reality. “After years of honest conversations, the family has come to understand that the change was necessary,” the insider explained.

Meryl Streep’s Timing With Short Apparently Helped

Sources claim one major reason Gummer eventually accepted Streep’s relationship with Short is that so much time passed between the separation and the romance rumors.

According to insiders, the situation could have been far more painful had the actress immediately begun dating after ending the marriage.

“If she had moved on with Martin right after the breakup, it really would have hit Don hard,” the source explained.

Another insider added, “If this relationship with Martin had started immediately after the split, it’s something he probably never would have gotten over. But enough time has passed now that he’s genuinely at peace with it.”

The insider also claimed that Gummer now chooses to focus on the positive memories from their decades-long marriage rather than remain bitter.

“He has accepted that he shared some of the best years of his life with her,” they shared.

Although the source joked that Gummer is probably not watching “Only Murders in the Building” repeatedly at home, they insisted he is glad his estranged wife appears happy and isn’t publicly weaponizing their past relationship.

Streep And Gummer Remain Legally Married

Despite living separate lives for years, Meryl Streep and Don Gummer reportedly have no immediate plans to officially divorce.

According to insiders, finances and shared assets are the biggest reasons the former couple has remained legally married. One source claimed the “Devil Wears Prada” actress has not “officially moved forward with a divorce largely for financial and logistical reasons.”

Because the actress reportedly has a fortune estimated at around $100 million, dividing properties, investments, and long-held assets would become extremely complicated.

“They share significant assets, and it’s simply far easier to remain legally married than to go through the complicated and expensive process of dividing properties, investments, and everything tied to their lives together,” the insider explained.

Rather than endure a lengthy legal battle, both parties reportedly prefer handling the situation privately and respectfully.

“There is still a strong level of respect between them,” the source said. The insider added that both would rather avoid spending enormous amounts of money and emotional energy untangling decades of shared responsibilities.

Meryl Streep And Martin Short Continue Fueling Romance Rumors

Although they continue to deny being romantically involved, Streep and Short are reportedly no longer hiding their affection from those around them.

The pair have recently been spotted together at several celebrity-favorite Los Angeles spots, including Chateau Marmont and Giorgio Baldi.

During one recent outing at Chateau Marmont, insiders claimed the two looked unmistakably close throughout dinner. 

According to eyewitnesses, Streep and Short were “holding hands under the table” while “acting like teens” and “whispering to each other.”

The behavior reportedly left little doubt among onlookers about the nature of their relationship.

“What was interesting is that they’ve both been denying they’re in a romantic relationship,” the source previously said, adding, “But seeing them inside the Chateau there’s no doubt they are in love.”

Plus, the “RHOBH” star is opening up about her upcoming memoir, “Unburdened.”

Dorit interviewed with ExtraTV in May 2026 to promote “Unburdened.” During the conversation, the host asked her if her husband’s claims were true about spending “$1 million on clothing and travel.” In response, the “RHOBH” fan-favorite began, “No.”

She then elaborated, explaining, “This has been a court document that’s been filed. Obviously, I’m going to have a response to it.” After that, she stated, “I think there will be answers to everything,” regarding her legal response to her estranged husband.

Dorit then defended herself, saying, “But when you hear one version or narrative, there’s always another side. Do I love fashion? Yes. Do I spend a lot of money on clothes? Expensive clothes, designer clothes? Yes.”

She went on to call her spending “her choice,” saying, “It’s also my money.” Dorit added, “It’s my money that I earned, that I worked for. Not his money.

The ‘RHOBH’ Star Discussed Her Home Being In Pre-Foreclosure

Later in the ExtraTV interview, the reporter questioned Dorit Kemsley about her claims that she was blindsided by the status of their Encino mansion. For context, she previously stated that she was unaware that her estranged husband had missed several mortgage payments and only learned about it shortly before the public did.

When asked when she realized PK wasn’t paying the bills, she responded, “Well, the mortgage. Listen, PK, and I had an agreement when we separated. She then said that although there was “no communication,” she expected him to still adhere to their arrangement.

Dorit added, “Even spending. You spend what you are planning. So, I didn’t plan for the mortgage not being paid, and it was never brought to my attention. I was never told, ‘Dorit, I’m not going to pay the mortgage.’”

After that, she revealed that they were “months in the rear” when she learned of the foreclosure. The reporter also asked if PK ever warned her to “rein it in’ as he was having money troubles. She stated that he did not ask her to spend less.

According to her, “We weren’t even communicating the majority of the time. He was doing his thing.”

Fans Think Dorit Isn’t Being Honest

Dorit and PK Kemsley’s finances were a major topic of discussion on season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Because of this, fans of the show have also weighed in, with many feeling that, from the outside looking in, Dorit’s spending is a real problem.

One person reacted to the interview, saying, “He may have agreed to keep making the house payments, but he didn’t, so shouldn’t you? So your children have somewhere to live… this couple’s priorities are messed up.”

Someone else wrote, “She’s delusional. Wow. She could have refinanced both of the loans at a conventional rate and would be in much better financial shape. Those poor kids. This is bad.”

Another “RHOBH” fan stated, “I love how she deflects and doesn’t answer the question. And what’s up with this interviewer? Extra should’ve swapped her out last minute.” Lastly, a different “RHOBH” fan replied, My choice, my money, despite losing the roof over her kids’ heads.”

Here’s What PK Kemsley Accused Dorit Of Spending

In May 2026, TMZ obtained court documents in which Dorit Kemsley accused the “RHOBH” star of excessive spending. Per the filing, the businessman asked someone on his legal team to look into the spending. They then discovered that she had spent over $1 million on luxury items.

That total includes $995k for designer clothing, handbags, and other items. Regarding the breakdown of spending, the documents show $69k went to Louis Vuitton, $69k to Chanel, and another $38k to Hermès. Other high-end stores she frequented were Net-A-Porter, FWRD, and Moda Operandi.

Dorit Kemsley Also Discussed Her Book

Dorit’s upcoming book, “Unburdened: A Memoir,” is slated to hit stores on June 2 from Podium Publishing. Ahead of the book, she’s announced a tour, set to begin on May 31 and end on June 4. The “RHOBH” star opened up about the new memoir in her ExtraTV interview, revealing how she named it.

According to her, “Well, when I was speaking to the publisher, and I was telling her about where I am in life, where I was, and I had said, ‘I just really feel like I need to be unburdened,’ and she said, ‘That’s the title of your book.’”

Dorit Kemsley then stated that the title “encapsulates so much” of how she feels. She also stated that it gives fans a much more in-depth look at her life than an ensemble show like “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” can.

Prime Video has had a lot of eyes on its platform this year, perhaps more than ever before, as it officially ended one of its flagship shows that had been on the air for years. The Boys premiered in 2019, and after seven years and five full seasons, the series came to a close earlier this week with an explosive finale that gave most fans the ending they’d been waiting for. Prime Video also brought back its critically acclaimed animated superhero series, Invincible, for its fourth season, confirming along the way that the show would debut its next batch of episodes before the conclusion of 2027. Prime Video’s biggest action show, Reacher (starring Alan Ritchson), is also coming back for Season 4 this year with Season 5 in early development at Amazon.

Prime Video is responsible for some of the most expensive TV shows of all time, particularly The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which is estimated to cost more than $50 million per episode. However, another costly show to emerge in the last few years has been Citadel, which premiered its first season all the way back in 2023 before going on hiatus for a few years. Prime Video didn’t invest too much in marketing Citadel Season 2, but the show returned as a binge drop for its second season a few weeks ago, and despite there being no wait for more episodes, it’s still comfortably one of the platform’s top 10 most-watched titles at the time of writing. The fate of Citadel beyond Season 2 has yet to be decided, but considering the cost, it will likely have to shatter expectations to be picked up for Season 3.

Who Stars in ‘Citadel’?

The two biggest stars at the front and center of the Citadel cast are Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Madden is best known for his work as Robb Stark in the first three seasons of Game of Thrones, and Jonas recently headlined one of the biggest Prime Video movies of the year with The Bluff (co-starring Karl Urban). Also featured in the Citadel ensemble is Stanley Tucci, who recently starred in the critically acclaimed drama, Conclave. Tucci can also be seen in the new blockbuster, The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is now playing in theaters everywhere.

The past month or so has been far from memorable on Netflix. According to recent data, between April 13 and April 19, no Netflix series made it into the top 10 for the first time since Nielsen started reporting streaming data. The previous worst week for Netflix? The one before, with April 2026 a month those working at the streamer would rather forget. However, in the month since, Netflix has released some enticing new options for those hungry for something to binge. ‘The Boroughs’ (2026)

At the very end of 2025, Netflix lost one of its flagship shows as Stranger Things officially came to an explosive and controversial end. For those looking to fill the void that the lack of the Upside Down has left, the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, have just delivered their latest project: The Boroughs. All eight episodes are available to stream now, having debuted on Netflix this past Thursday.

Produced by the Stranger Things duo and created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, the series is set in a retirement facility and follows an unlikely group as they must go head-to-head with a dangerous threat. If you have no attraction to live-action and have more of an animation persuasion, then fear not, as another new arrival to Netflix this past week is perfect for your weekend binge. A new animated comedy from the creators of Big Mouth, Mating Season follows a group of amorous animals, including bears, raccoons, and foxes, who engage in the wilder side of life on the hunt for true love.

Certainly not an animated series for the whole family, this raunchy show leaves nothing to the imagination on the hunt for unlikely romance and plenty of laughs. A satirization of modern dating, this intelligent series boasts a strong voice cast, led by Zach Woods, Nick Kroll, June Diane Raphael, and Sabrina Jalees. It also features Jason Mantzoukas, Andrew Rannells, Sarah Silverman, Abbi Jacobson​​​​​​, and many more.

Sometimes the weekend is the perfect time to begin a binge-watch that is sure to overtake your year. Although Netflix doesn’t play host to the entire series, there is currently enough of this iconic procedural on the platform to provide a perfect sample. Brooke Shields is looking back fondly on her brief time with the late John F. Kennedy Jr. 

Appearing on the Thursday, May 21, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Shields, 60, was asked what she thought about FX’s Love Story.

The series was loosely based on JFK Jr.’s romance with Carolyn Bessette before their deaths in 1999. Since its February release, the show has received mixed reviews from some of the real-life people depicted in the show.

“I watched it start to finish. I loved it. I thought the acting was amazing,” Shields said on WWHL.

“I didn’t have a love story, I had a crazy, crazy crush,” she explained. “We dated but I never slept with him so I don’t know if that counts.”

The Blue Lagoon star added, “He was lovely to me.”

Shields also noted that her daughter Rowan Henchy, 23, worked on the series as a production assistant. (Shields shares Rowan and Grier, 20, with her husband Chris Henchy.)

Speaking to People in an interview published on May 18, Shields recalled being surprised when her daughter informed her that her 1980s fling with the politician was mentioned in the series.

“That was a little weird,” Shields told the publication. “I was away, and my daughter called me and she says, ‘Oh my God, you’re mentioned in Love Story,’ and she’s like, ‘Is it true?’”

Shields continued, “I was like, ‘OK, I’d be happy to tell you all the stories if you want, but — yes.’”

In March, Rowan joked about her mom and JFK Jr. via a TikTok video. “I wonder if JFK Jr. was a good kisser?” Rowan wrote over the clip, while lip-synching to Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap.”

The camera then panned to Shields, who also mouthed the lyrics. “One of the best,’” text overlaying the video read.

Shields previously shared details about her dating experience with JFK Jr. during an interview with The Howard Stern Show in 2023.

“We did have a real date. I wouldn’t sleep with him because I kind of loved him too much,” she recalled. “It was beyond not-disappointing. I froze though because he was so precious to me. I was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re falling in love, and if you sleep with him he may not talk to you again — and you can’t handle that.’”

She added, “I wasn’t playing a game. I really was just so afraid of being really hurt, because if I slept with him I would’ve given him my entire universe, my heart, my everything.”

During her Thursday appearance on WWHL,  Shields also answered whether she’d seen 2026 musical drama Micheal, which was based on her late, longtime friend Michael Jackson.

“I have not seen his movie yet but I want to. I’m told I’m not in it and I didn’t even think that I would be,” Shields said.

Shields said that people keep asking her if she’s “upset” about the movie. “I’m like, ‘No, he was my dear friend,” she said.

Zendaya is sharing a glimpse of what it’s like working with her partner, Tom Holland, ahead of the release of their two upcoming projects. The Actress Refuses To Confirm Wedding Rumors

Rumors that Zendaya and Holland were already married started circulating when the actress was spotted wearing a wedding band in February. In March, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, was asked when the couple was going to get married, to which he replied, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”

Months later, the couple has still neither confirmed nor denied the rumor. ELLE directly asked the actress about her gold wedding band, and she replied by saying, “No, I’m not going to do that. They’re always searching for something,” most likely referring to speculations about her relationship and private life.
