Speaking with Vogue, Towns reflected on his proposal to the fashion influencer in December 2025. He told the outlet that Woods, 28, had one fashion rule for the New York Knicks star, and it had everything to do with her hair.

The first gown, which Woods wore for the ceremony, was a strapless silk gown with lace detailing and a lace neck scarf. “The design intention was there from the beginning and the get-go,” Frankel said before Woods added, “She was adamant about that being smooth in the stomach area and getting the ruching perfect. Chrisean Rock Throws Hands In New Street Fight Video

‘Rainy Days’ rapper Chrisean Rock was caught fighting in a video shared by several online sites on Monday, August 17. The fight reportedly took place outside of the Jungle Hollywood nightclub at 1640 N. Cahuenga Blvd in Los Angeles. Text over the TikTok video claims that the woman fighting with Rock is a friend of Blueface’s pregnant girlfriend, Nevaeh Akira.

Rock also shares a child with Blueface (allegedly), and the on-and-off-again couple was together on Monday evening.

Rock made her professional boxing debut back in April at the XRumble Fighting Championships in Philadelphia, and after the woman in the video laid the paws on, the former ‘Baddies’ star went to work.

The woman is barefoot and wearing a dress in the clip while Rock is sporting a red sweatshirt and gray shorts. After the woman takes a swing at Rock, the rapper returns blows and slams the woman against a car and on the ground. Not only that, but Blueface is heard encouraging Rock during the fight before the women are pulled apart.

Blueface Allegedly Involved In A Shootout After The Brawl

According to Live Bitez, the fight with Rock and the woman occurred after a baby shower for Akira in Hollywood. The brawl allegedly escalated into a shootout, as seven shots were reportedly fired.

The Los Angeles Police Department is seen in a video clip on the scene. However, no arrests were made, and it’s unclear if Blueface was directly involved in the shooting.

Police Called After Blueface Kicks Akira In The Pool

As The Shade Room previously reported, Blueface was live-streaming on Kick when he playfully kicked Akira into a swimming pool. The rapper also kicked her son into the pool, and some wayward fans called the police.

The police asked Akria if she was kicked in the stomach, to which she said “No, I wasn’t kicked in my stomach.”

She also advised the police that no physical altercation took place.

Hayden Panettiere’s body has been cleared for release to her family as investigators continue working to determine what caused the actress’ sudden death at 36. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed Tuesday that Panettiere’s body can be transferred once her family selects a funeral home.

However, officials cautioned that the toxicology results expected to provide answers about whether drugs or alcohol were present in the “Nashville” star’s system may not arrive for up to 12 weeks. The update comes after an autopsy was performed Monday, one day after Panettiere was found unresponsive inside a Greenville, South Carolina, Airbnb.

A representative for the Greenville County Coroner’s Office told The New York Post that toxicology testing typically takes between eight and 12 weeks to complete. The results could become available sooner or take longer, depending on the testing process.

Investigators are examining whether any drugs or alcohol were present in Panettiere’s system when she died. There is currently no evidence suggesting that she consumed illicit substances. Toxicology testing will be especially important because the initial autopsy did not identify any physical injuries that could explain her death.

“No signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death,” coroners said, emphasizing that the case had not been closed and that additional work was underway. “This investigation remains active and ongoing. No further details are available for release at this time.”

Until the laboratory testing is completed, Panettiere’s official cause and manner of death may remain undetermined.

The Actress Was Found Unresponsive At A South Carolina Airbnb

Panettiere was discovered unresponsive Sunday afternoon by an unidentified “acquaintance.” Authorities have not publicly confirmed that person’s identity.

Emergency personnel responded to the residence at approximately 1:50 p.m. The police report stated that arriving officers found “multiple EMS and firemen performing CPR” on the actress. Panettiere remained “unresponsive” and “did not seem to have any obvious physical reasons to be unresponsive.” Despite the efforts of emergency workers, she was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m.

Reported 911 audio indicated that Panettiere suffered cardiac arrest following a suspected overdose. However, that description does not constitute an official determination about what caused her death. Narcan was also reportedly found inside the residence where Panettiere died.

Investigators will need to consider the Narcan alongside the 911 audio, Panettiere’s medical history, her medications and the eventual toxicology findings before reaching a conclusion.

Panettiere’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach, were also reportedly present at the Airbnb. According to police documents, Hickerson showed officers a “bag of medication” that Panettiere had been taking.

The medication list was redacted from the publicly available Greenville City Police Department report, but it appeared to contain nine different drugs. Authorities have not identified those medications or said whether any were found in Panettiere’s system. The existence of multiple medications does not mean they caused or contributed to her death. Toxicology testing will be needed to determine what, if anything, she had taken and in what quantities.

The reporting officer also documented the brothers’ behavior while medical personnel attempted to save Panettiere. Zach was described as “very emotional” while EMS workers “were working on Hayden.”

The documents reportedly indicated that Brian did not initially appear visibly upset as emergency personnel performed CPR. However, he reportedly broke down after Panettiere was pronounced dead.

Now, the three of them encourage Julie to start singing and playing music again. They push her to re-audition for the music program, but during the audition, they accidentally play with her. It then becomes clear that the ghosts can be seen while they’re performing with Julie, so the four of them start a band together. Julie and the Phantoms is a beautiful show about grief and love – and it has phenomenal music.

The series is now four seasons in, and has so far told four love stories: those of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page), Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), and Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). The series will be returning next year for its fifth season to tell the love story of Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) and Michaela Stirling (Masali Baduza).

Bridgerton has become one of Netflix’s standout series. It is a swoonworthy romance series that crafts an excellent central relationship each season, while also giving each of the leads their own arcs outside of their relationship. It also has an excellent setting, a playful and more modern take on the regency aesthetic, and deeply compelling storylines – not to mention some of the best and most romantic quotes of any Netflix series.

‘Dark’ (2017–2020)

In 2017, Netflix released one of the greatest time travel series of all time. Dark is a German sci-fi thriller series that starts with a simple premise: in 2019, a child has just disappeared from the small town of Winden, and not for the first time. Back in 1986, another child suddenly disappeared, and both of these tragedies connect back to four central families. The series moves through its initial two timelines to follow these two investigations, all while slowly revealing more about the underlying supernatural factors at play.

Dark is a brilliant and suspenseful series with clever and thoughtful storylines, complex characters, and deeply emotionally resonant themes. Its core mysteries are engaging and handled very well, culminating in some of the best TV plot twists of all time. Dark draws its viewers in early on with its mystery box style of storytelling, while also slowly delivering a series of truly gut-wrenching and tragic reveals throughout its run.

‘Midnight Mass’ (2021)

Some of Netflix’s best series, especially from this last decade, are Mike Flanagan‘s collection of horror miniseries. An especially phenomenal show among these is Midnight Mass, which is set on the small and isolated Crockett Island. Riley Flynn (Zach Gilford) returns home for the first time in a very long time, after four years in prison for killing a teenage girl in a drunk driving accident. Riley lost the new life he’d built away from home when he was arrested, so he now has to move back in with his parents and reunite with familiar faces from his past. At the same time, a new pastor named Father Paul (Hamish Linklater) comes to town to take over for the church’s aging and ill priest.

Riley struggles to both make amends to the people from his past and stick to his sobriety without the routine of prison. All the while, Father Paul starts to perform shocking miracles that quickly win the entire town over. Riley is no longer religious, but through one-on-one AA meetings, he gets to know Father Paul. Slowly, though, Riley starts to realize that Father Paul is hiding massive secrets that could affect the whole town. Midnight Mass is a terrifying and suspenseful horror series with a captivating central mystery, but it is also just a truly beautiful masterpiece of a series. It explores themes of loss, religion, and guilt in creative and insightful ways, and its characters all feel very real.

Video game adaptations aren’t as risky as they were a decade ago. Some of the most high-profile movies at the time — Assassin’s Creed, Warcraft, and Tomb Raider — struggled critically or commercially, or both. More recently, hits such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Uncharted have certainly turned things around for video game adaptations, at least at the box office. Meanwhile, HBO’s The Last of Us has single-handedly upped the prestige of video game adaptations over two successful seasons on television. This new wave of success has revived fan interest in a handful of popular video game properties, including Red Dead Redemption and Watch Dogs, whose movie adaptations have long been rumored. Another popular title from the 2010s even had a star attached, but with no firm updates for quite some time, fans were beginning to wonder what the project’s status was.

Now, the star in question — Simu Liu — has shared an official status update. Responding to a fan’s question about the project on X, Liu wrote, “Okay, here it is. We’re moving along really well. We have a director, and a production company, and a REAL path forward. We’re just in the dealmaking process with the game studio right now (which is a total fan moment for me because I love Square Enix). Your support is fueling us all!” His replies were filled with fans voicing their excitement for the movie, with the OP going so far as to say that it has “the potential to be the greatest video game adaptation ever if done right.”

Donnie Yen Was Attached to the Project Before Simu Liu

We’re talking about the long-gestating Sleeping Dogs adaptation. The game was released in 2012 and was presented as an alternative to the wildly popular Grand Theft Auto series. The game — a combination of Infernal Affairs‘ narrative and the action of the John Wick series — follows a police officer who goes undercover and infiltrates a Triad crime organization. The story unfolds in contemporary Hong Kong, an open-world environment players can explore. The project had Donnie Yen attached to star for several years, but he announced in 2025 that he had backed out.

Subsequently, Liu became attached to star, with Timo Tjahjanto being roped in as the director. “We are both hungry and passionate about the material and have plenty to prove,” the director wrote on social media some time ago. Liu will reprise his role as Shang-Chi in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, after having debuted as the character in the critically acclaimed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Meanwhile, Yen is working on his Hong Kong-set John Wick spin-off movie, Caine.

Paris Jackson is opening up about the deeply personal emotional struggles that shaped her journey through mental health issues and substance abuse. 

Having celebrated six years of sobriety earlier this year, the legendary pop icon’s daughter is reflecting on the persistent inner void that accompanied her upbringing.

Jackson has been open about her path to recovery. She previously revealed to fans that she has a hole in her nose due to long-term drug abuse.

During an episode of the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast, the 28-year-old musician reflected on how a sense of isolation began taking root in her childhood.

Jackson recalled noticing a shift around 8 years old, just a few years before the death of her father, legendary pop star Michael Jackson.

Even amidst comforting family moments, Jackson described an inescapable, underlying void that stayed with her as she grew up.

“It’s hard to explain.. But that has kind of been this sort of… throughout my life, this kind of almost chronic loneliness,” she revealed.  When asked to summarize that persistent emotional strain, Jackson bluntly admitted that “it sucked.”

As her mental health struggles escalated, she explained that she eventually turned to substances as a coping mechanism. She also revealed that the substances made her feel more “moderated,” and served as an unhealthy way to cope with her thoughts.

Jackson has always been honest about her struggles with addiction. Speaking with host Alex Cooper on an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, she opened up about a traumatic 2018 incident where a friend nearly lost his life after overdosing on drugs that belonged to her.

She noted the track “Sirens, “a song featured on her album “Happiest Day of My Life,” as the most emotionally painful piece of music she has ever written.

“Probably ‘Sirens,’ that one’s very emotional. Yeah, that was about a buddy of mine that OD’d on my drugs, and I had to handle that till the paramedics arrived,” Jackson revealed during the interview, per The Blast.

Just 20 years old at the time, Jackson found herself forced to rely on her formal first-responder training during a chaotic, high-stress crisis. Despite the fear, Jackson remained focused and managed her friend’s condition until emergency personnel reached the scene.

In addition to the emotional and psychological toll of her past addiction, Jackson has also spoken with complete transparency about the permanent physical damage left behind by her substance abuse.

In late 2025, a resurfaced video caught widespread attention online after Jackson gave fans an intimate look at a lasting side effect of her previous drug use: a perforated septum. The musician explained that the hole in her nasal cartilage creates a distinct, audible sound.

“Don’t do drugs, kids… Or, I mean, do. Everyone is going to have the experience they need to have with life. I’m not going to tell anyone what to do. But I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life,” she shared, as reported by The Blast.

Beyond managing long-term recovery and overcoming the physical tolls of addiction, Jackson has also maintained open, transparent communication with her fans regarding unexpected health concerns.

According to The Blast, in May, she had to reassure her followers after an online video sparked widespread concern regarding the appearance of her neck. 

Taking to her Instagram, she shared footage of a medical professional examining her. “Getting an ultrasound to check out my lymphs since y’all pointed out how weird my neck looked on my last post,” she captioned the clip.

To leave no stone unturned, she also underwent comprehensive blood work to evaluate her lymph nodes and thyroid function.

Fortunately, the tests yielded reassuring results. Jackson confirmed that her blood panel was entirely normal, with the ultrasound showing only minor vocal cord redness from extensive singing rehearsals and no calluses or underlying issues.

Whether facing health scares, public speculation, or online scrutiny, Jackson has continuously maintained an unbothered, authentic approach to her self-expression.

The singer recently made it clear that unsolicited opinions about her appearance are unlikely to make her rethink the choices that define her. 

She faced criticism over her extensive body art after a post featuring a photo of her showing a chakra-inspired tattoo running down the center of her chest went viral. 

“She is gorgeous, but those tattoos just make her look dirty and takes away from her look,” the user wrote.

However, the singer quickly clapped back. “Oh no, what ever will I do (I’m dirty even without the tattoos),” Jackson quipped in response, as reported by The Blast.
