The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Sept 28-Oct 2, 2026 deliver drama with Finn (Tanner Novlan) absolutely outraged by Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) over this surrogacy scheme just as he is leaving town. Plus, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) doubles down on her bad attitude and it could cost her a lot.

Plus, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) gets really excited and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) pushes trying to get exactly what he wants. And as we always do on early edition day, we go over what’s happening the rest of this week. Then we dive into what is coming next week.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Sheila & Deacon Reconnect

So, let’s talk about it. Wednesday, Sept 23rd on The Bold and the Beautiful. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is getting hands-on with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). And we know Taylor is not going to be happy when she hears about Deacon’s heart-to-heart he had with Sheila at Bikini Bar.

So, Deacon’s ex insisted, as you heard, she only walked away from him because Sheila thought that he and Taylor were so in love that they were going to get married. And that might give Deacon some food for thought. And he may tell Taylor what Sheila said to some extent press Taylor a little about her rejecting his proposal. You know, maybe Deacon hopes to spark a little jealousy in Taylor. So, maybe she’ll reconsider committing to him.

Finn makes a plea to Steffy to call off this surrogacy thing. It makes perfect sense for Finn not to want Steffy to go through with this surrogacy. It’s a huge sacrifice for Finn also, and Steffy never mentioned it to Finn. So, as far as he knows, this is just out of the blue. And of course, this is not something Steffy was considering at all. That’s why she didn’t talk to him.

B&B Spoilers: Carter’s Relentless Pressure

This is all about Carter pushing for the fake surrogacy so that Daphne won’t find out that he and Steffy cheated and had that one night stand. But, of course, obviously, Finn doesn’t know the whole story. And even if this was a legit surrogacy that Steffy was doing for Daphne and Carter, you know, it’s still wrong for Steffy not to have at least consulted with Finn first before telling Daphne, okay, that’s from his side.

Of course, we all know it’s more complicated. And now Finn may think Steffy has been upset because she’s been thinking about the surrogacy. And Finn may also feel trapped and not want to criticize her too much because Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) just treated him like a bad guy, you know, and told him to fix things with Steffy. So, Finn may not feel like he can push back on Steffy like he ordinarily would.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: RJ Frustrates Zende

Thursday, Sept 24th on The Bold and the Beautiful, Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) and R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) get to work on the new Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) youth line. When Hope for the Future was shelved and Zende was working on R.J.’s men’s line. We saw that Zende was not happy at all. And I think we are going to get a replay of the exact same circumstances.

Because R.J. is probably going to be high-handed. Since Ridge made Zende the head of Hope for the Future, which was their old youth line before they found out Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) left, you know, Zende may assume that he’s going to be the new lead designer on this new youth line. And R.J. is clearly trying to grab the reins. So, this could make things a lot worse at Forrester Creations.

Katie considers adding something new to House of Logan. She already added the fragrance line and the jewelry collection. So, maybe this is somebody to replace Eric Forrester (John McCook) and do a 2nd couture collection. I am really excited to see what Katie is cooking up. And we also know that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is soon angry with Katie and the war between her and Brooke gets even worse this fall because Katie is going to pull some other stunt that Brooke thinks crosses lines. And we’ll see if it has something to do with maybe competing with Electra’s youth line if they find out about it.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Zende Pushed Too Far

Friday, Sept 25th on The Bold and the Beautiful. Speaking of Zende, his frustrations are building and things reach a boiling point. I think R.J. is going to push Zende too far and even worse, Ridge may take R.J.’s side, which may be just too much for Zende. That could be a break point. You know, the Forresters could be pushing somebody else out the door.

Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) gives Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) a reminder that no, she does not need Katie’s approval to be with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). Thankfully, Darcy’s more supportive than Will’s mom, Katie. We’ve got Will confronting Katie this week, saying that she can compare Dylan to Brooke. Okay. But then Will is going to start comparing Katie to Stephanie Forrester. (Susan Flannery). And initially, this ticks off Katie and she’s glaring at her son. But then Katie claps back at Will.

And Katie is saying, “Fine, I will be Stephanie because she was just trying to protect her son, Ridge.” And Katie reminds him that Stephanie was shielding Ridge from Brooke. And Katie says as she should have since Brooke stole Stephanie’s husband. It’d be crazy to think that Dylan is out there making moves on Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). It’s outrageous as a comparison.

And Katie says, “I will do the same thing Stephanie did and I will protect you from Darcy who is just like Brooke.” I think it’d be pretty funny if Will runs into Brooke and mentions any of this to his aunt because she might be really ticked off at Katie with this Stephanie comparison even more than Brooke’s already ticked off at her.

B&B Spoilers: Brooke’s New Storyline

And then next week, Sept 28th through Oct 2nd on The Bold and the Beautiful. Brooke’s going to be back on screen soon after Katherine Kelly Lang took a break from filming. And Brad Bell said that Brooke has her own storyline coming up for fall that’s going to be really dramatic. We’ll find out fallout after R.J. alienates Zende over Electra’s youth line. And I’m curious to see if R.J. mishandles things and if Electra gives R.J. some constructive criticism or if she just blindly supports the way R.J. treats Zende.

Also, some of Electra’s family is coming to town. We’ll get more of Dylan with Darcy and also scenes without. Finn’s very upset about Steffy pressing forward with this surrogacy without even consulting him. And the perfect time for Carter and Steffy to kick off this scheme is when Finn is out of town at the medical conference that he mentioned.

So Finn may come home and Steffy tells him that the surrogacy has already happened. It’s underway and Finn is floored because he probably was planning to come back and have more conversations with Steffy after the conference. You know, Finn may have hoped to still be able to talk Steffy out of it and then Finn’s back and it’s too late as far as he knows.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Beside Herself

Steffy continues to struggle with the idea of giving up her own biological child to Daphne and Carter, but the lies continue to pile up, and Steffy is going to be at the point of no return soon. A new guy is about to come into Deacon’s life in the next couple of weeks. Plus, Dee is going to be working on a new collection with Hope at House of Logan. Electra’s relationship with R.J. and Darcy’s relationship with Will both move forward, but Electra and Will just cannot forget each other.

Sheila continues to prod at Deacon about Taylor’s disrespect of him by refusing his proposal. And Sheila is going to make clear to Deacon how devoted she was compared to Taylor not being devoted enough to Deacon to let him put a ring on it.

So, he may start seeing Taylor from another angle and maybe have some buyer’s remorse. Steffy may have doubts that she shares with Carter about whether they can even pull off this fake surrogacy thing. And with Finn out of town, Carter may say, “Just lie to him and say you went to the clinic and had it done while he was gone.” But of course, it’s not going to be that easy to fool him because her husband Finn is a doctor.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially made box office history.

The Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios blockbuster has surpassed Star Wars: The Force Awakens to become the highest-grossing movie of all time at the domestic box office, ending a record that had stood for more than a decade.

The Tom Holland-led film has now earned approximately $936.77 million in North America, narrowly passing the $936.66 million domestic total earned by The Force Awakens. Even more impressive, Brand New Day reached the record after just 47 days in theaters.

The milestone is the latest in an extraordinary theatrical run for the fourth Tom Holland Spider-Man movie.

Brand New Day opened with $360 million domestically, setting a new record for the biggest domestic opening weekend in box office history. The film subsequently became the fastest movie ever to cross every major domestic milestone from $400 million through $900 million.

Its record-breaking performance has also extended far beyond North America. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has earned approximately $2.45 billion worldwide, placing it among the highest-grossing movies ever released globally.

Lucasfilm Congratulates Spider-Man

Following the record being broken, Lucasfilm and the official Star Wars social media account acknowledged Brand New Day taking the crown from The Force Awakens.

“Impressive. Most Impressive.”

Lucasfilm then congratulated director Destin Daniel Cretton, Tom Holland, Sony Pictures, Marvel Studios and the entire Brand New Day team on setting the new domestic box office record.

The studio also shared artwork featuring Spider-Man alongside X-Wings with the message:

“The Force is strong with you! Congratulations from Lucasfilm.”

The gesture continues a long-running Hollywood tradition in which filmmakers and studios publicly congratulate one another when a major box office record changes hands.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens had occupied the top spot since its historic theatrical run following its December 2015 release.

Now Spider-Man has finally done it.

And Brand New Day isn’t finished yet. The movie remains in theaters, meaning its new all-time domestic record will continue to grow.

The Former Actress Admitted To Using Ozempic For Weight Loss

Bynes’ slimmer appearance during the outing comes after she publicly discussed using medication to help with her weight loss. In December 2025, she revealed to her social media followers that she had been taking Ozempic.

The actress explained that she previously weighed 180 pounds before beginning her transformation. “I lost 28lbs on Ozempic!” she told followers, putting her weight at approximately 152 pounds at the time.

Her recent outing gave another glimpse at the physical changes she has made since beginning the GLP-1 medication. Bynes has continued experimenting with her appearance as well, frequently changing her hair and eyebrow colors over the past few years.

“I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean,” she explained. Bynes also revealed that she weighed 162 pounds at the time and hoped to eventually reach 110 pounds.

So, let’s get right to it. Wednesday, Sept 23rd on The Young and the Restless. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) run into each other at Crimson Lights. They make small talk about the sex of the baby, which Billy and Sally have decided to not find out. They want to have a big surprise. They’ve got several big surprises coming. Cane asks Billy if he’s invited to the wedding, and he says, “Sure, just sign over Chancellor to me.”

And Cane’s like, “What?” Billy says, “Just kidding.” Cane and Lily are invited to the wedding. Then they talk about Jill and Billy still doesn’t want to talk to his mom. But Cane wants Billy to put the Chancellor thing just to bed for once and all and just not be so mad at Jill. Her health isn’t good. And Cane really thinks Billy should make amends because he’s going to lose Jill. Plus Cane thinks if Billy does not invite Jill to the wedding that in the end Billy will regret it. But he’s afraid if Jill comes to his wedding that she might ruin it.

Y&R Spoilers: Audra Warns Sally

So, yeah. Meanwhile, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Sally meet up at the shadow room and Audra can tell something’s up with Sally and she finally admits to Audra that she did ask Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) to be her 3rd bridesmaid. Audra is not happy about this initially. She thinks it’s a mistake for Sally. And also Audra admits she’s a little jealous because she wants to have Sally all to herself. But Audra gets over it. Tells Sally, you know what? It’s your wedding. I won’t do anything to ruin it.

They talk about the possibility of Adam coming to the wedding with Chelsea and Sally thinking, well, maybe it won’t be too bad. Sally texts her wedding planner, Pietro, to make sure there’s extra security because Patty Williams is still a fugitive. And Billy shows up and Audra asks how he feels about Chelsea and maybe Adam being at the wedding and then she takes off.

Sally fills Billy in on Audra’s reaction. And then Billy tells Sally that he ran into Cane, but they kept it very polite. Billy says they argued a little bit about Jill. And Billy says he just doesn’t want Jill at the wedding. But Sally says, “Of course your mom’s invited to the wedding.” And then Billy finds out that Sally and Jill have been texting about the wedding and he’s not happy about it because Billy just wants to cut Jill out of his life once and for all.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Sally Pushes Billy

And that horrifies Sally. And she says their child needs to have its grandmother around. Billy says, “I’ll think about it,” but basically he thinks Sally’s still pushing for Jill to come to the wedding. And he mentions that he ran into Adam and that they both agree that Adam should not come to the wedding.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s telling Adam that Sally asked her to be a bridesmaid. And Adam says, “Yeah, Billy already told me.” Chelsea’s a little upset and worries that Adam has ruined things, but he said he promised Billy he wouldn’t go to the wedding unless Chelsea asks him to. And at first, she says, “I won’t make you go to the wedding.” And then Chelsea changes her mind and she asks Adam to go, but to be on his best behavior at Sally’s wedding.

Adam is shocked, but Chelsea says, “Please go for me.” But Adam tells her, “You know what? Billy doesn’t want me to be there.” And Chelsea keeps pushing Adam to try, but just to make sure he doesn’t cause a scene because not only would he be ruining Sally and Billy’s wedding, but he would ruin Chelsea’s day, too. Adam just refuses and refuses to go, which is the right thing to do.

But Chelsea keeps badgering him until he finally agrees. He’s not happy about watching Sally make the biggest mistake of her life. But Chelsea says Adam going and playing nice would mean a lot to her. So he agrees. And then they wonder if they should ask Connor to go, but they don’t think he would want to. So Adam and Chelsea are also wondering if Connor is going to start asking when they are going to get married again. And Adam seems to be all about it. So maybe we’ll have another wedding.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Shuts Audra Down

And later, Audra sees Cane at Crimson Lights and she tries to talk to him. And of course, Cane wants nothing to do with Audra. But she starts asking if Cane is going to Billy and Sally’s wedding and if he’s bringing anybody. And Cane asks if Audra’s trying to ask him to be her date to the wedding.

And she says, “I was just trying to be nice.” Sure. Cane says he is bringing a date and he does not need any new friends. Audra gets irritated and tells Cane get over himself and Audra storms off. Then Cane texts Jill asking her to call him when she wakes up because she’s in a whole different time zone, several different time zones away.

Y&R Spoilers: Traci Worries About Billy

Thursday, Sept 24th on The Young and the Restless, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) pays someone a much needed visit. So she goes over to see Billy at his house. And when Traci shows up at Billy and Sally’s place, you know, he’s on high alert. Billy was not expecting Traci and wants to know why his sister is there.

So, Billy’s worried, you know, asking is everything okay. Traci wants him to tell her. So, she’s really worried. And The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci have different opinions of Sally. So, Traci may be telling Billy he should cancel the wedding or maybe Traci’s warning Billy that Ashley is going to try and get him to call it off.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) makes sure that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is ready for anything. They have another sexy meetup at the motel after Victoria had to cancel their last tryst because she had to spend time with Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin). Phyllis Summers catches a break from Daniel Romalotti.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Turns to Sharon

And then Friday, Sept 25th on The Young and the Restless, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) turns to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for help making a hard decision. So Nick’s already back to work at Newman, but maybe he’s not feeling satisfied and he wants to quit. But as Sharon says, what if he does quit and he has all that time on his hands? Because Nick may worry he will relapse. I don’t think he’s enjoying corporate life, though.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) promises something to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She’s really upset about him helping Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) with Vibrante, forgiving her for Victor nearly having Patty nearly kill them both. Diane just doesn’t feel heard, but Jack reassures her that Diane comes first. Victor does something to make sure Vibrante is a smash for Nikki, but we all know it is going to be setting the groundwork for something that will hurt Jabot.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally & Billy’s Wedding around the Corner

Then Sept 28th through Oct 2nd on The Young and the Restless. Sally and Billy are in end stages because their wedding is in October and Sally’s sister Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) and her grandma Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) are coming to town very soon. Look for bachelor and bachelorette parties for her and Billy. And we’re going to see Sally freaking out the closer it comes to her big day and also having some baby anxiety. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) have scenes soon.

And Adam and Billy keep bickering and Adam may scheme to do something to just shake up Billy on his big day. Not ruin the big day, but just a poke. Diane can’t stop worrying about Patty. Nick may feel without a purpose and tries to find Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow). Patty’s not done yet. Kyle and Victoria are on a race to get busted for this fling. Victor moves forward with his new attack on Jack and Jabot and more on Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Phyllis.

The label, known as BMR, showcased Ryan Perdz, 12 Gauge Trixie and Sludgemother at the storied West Hollywood club, speaking with Hollywood Fix before the show about their music and the label’s plans.

The event placed three rising acts inside one of Los Angeles’ most recognizable rock venues while giving each artist an opportunity to introduce a different sound, style, and stage presence to the crowd.

“From the BMR label and the Gebbia’s perspective, this is about more than putting on a great night of live rock music. There’s a real commitment to helping bring rock back to the forefront while showcasing rising star artists we genuinely believe in and giving them a platform to grow, perform, and build their careers,” David Gebbia told the Blast.

“These showcases are really just one part of the work the label is doing with each artist we sign. There’s an entire team and ecosystem behind them, from creative direction and content to styling, production, marketing, and live opportunities, all working together to develop these artists and help them reach the next level.”

He added that the strip itself is part of the plan. “Sunset needs to be really revitalized,” he said. The label has taken space in two buildings on Sunset Boulevard, including a penthouse. “We’re gonna do some live events out there. We got some big plans,” he said.

Demand ran high after a well-received show at the Whisky a Go Go a month or two earlier. “Everybody’s been blowing up my phone to come,” he said. “And we’re happy to accommodate them, but people might be waiting in line.”

Asked about a street party, he didn’t hesitate. “We’re completely down for it,” he said.

The combination of packed club shows, new spaces, and potential outdoor events points to an effort that extends beyond a single showcase. For BMR, the goal appears to be building a larger presence along the historic boulevard while creating recurring opportunities for its developing artists.

Destiny Gebbia Calls Viper Room Showcase A ‘Dream Come True’

Destiny Gebbia, the label’s creative director, grew up in Los Angeles and called the night personal. “It’s been like a dream come true to finally see the Viper Room as an adult now,” she said.

Stylist Julia, who worked with 12 Gauge Trixie on a photo shoot the day before, said about 250 people were expected in the small room. “All the artists here are so insanely like talented and they perform so good,” she said. As for the label’s future, she said, “Hopefully signing more talented artists and more shows.”

Ryan Perdz Brings A Taste Of The 1990s

Ryan Perdz, making his Viper Room debut, promised volume and a nod to the 1990s. “It’s going to be loud. Going to do a Nirvana cover, too,” he said. He picked “Territorial Pissings” and played a Kurt Cobain model Fender Jaguar for the set.

He shrugged off any nerves. “Not really nervous or anything. I mean, we play at the Whisky,” he said. “I’m not buying super expensive guitars, but I have Fender Strats. I like Fender. I’m a Fender guy.”

Perdz will head out on an acoustic tour in about a month. “Acoustic tour. So, be there,” he said. “My band will be with me.”

The upcoming tour will give Perdz a chance to present his music in a more stripped-down setting after bringing a loud, Nirvana-inspired performance to the Viper Room stage.

12 Gauge Trixie, also playing the club for the first time, came promoting its new single “Across the Jetty.” The band’s singer was quick to praise the bill. “I can’t wait to play with Sludgemother. Oh my god, they’re so good. I love them,” she said. “It’s a tiny room. There’s a lot of legends that have played there. I’m like stoked to be able to stand on the same stage.”

She described the set simply: “Honestly, just straight rocking out.”

Her stage look drew on a classic. “The stylist said that she was like going for a little Stevie Nicks kind of vibe,” she said. She also thanked the label. “Thank you so much, BMR, for all this opportunity,” she said.

The band’s guitarist credited Michael Jackson’s longtime guitarist Jennifer Batten. “She’s the one that inspired me to play,” she said.

On Perdz’s Nirvana cover, one member said, “Nirvana’s legendary. He’s got the voice for it. He’s got the band for it. So, they’re going to kill it.”

The group insisted it gets along. “We’re all best friends,” one said. Another added, “Unless we’re on the road, sometimes we can like get agitated with each other.” The band’s excitement about sharing the bill reflected the collaborative atmosphere surrounding the showcase, even as each act arrived with its own influences and identity.

Sludgemother Debuts Brand-New Material

Sludgemother used the night to debut unreleased material. “We just finished recording last week,” a member said. “We are playing through the songs for the first time ever tonight.”

One guitarist, a veteran of the room, called the Viper his last stop. “I’ve played a bunch of different bands, but this is like my final resting place,” he said. “We will be buried here.”

Asked what to expect, the band answered in turns: “Loud, angry,” “intense,” “crazy.”

For newcomers, one member pointed to the song “Pig.” “I personally feel like Pig because it’s grungy,” he said.

By using the showcase to test newly recorded songs in front of a live audience, Sludgemother helped close the night with another sign of what BMR wants to build on the Sunset Strip: new music, emerging talent and unapologetically loud performances.

Travis proposed to the Grammy winner in August 2025 after two years of dating. The couple exchanged vows this summer in a star-studded ceremony held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

NBC‘s The Office showed us that every workplace, no matter how mundane, is zany and full of heart on the inside. That concept clearly resonated with audiences, and it has been expanded on in other TV workplace comedies over the last two decades. Looking back now, it’s clear that HBO‘s Veep took this idea to its greatest extreme, with high stakes for the United States and for the world in its most absurd storylines. Veep aired seven seasons with 65 episodes from 2012 to 2019, and nothing has lived up to it since. The series earned several prestigious awards and critical acclaim, and it’s time for it to get the same praise as The Office.

Of course, The Office had a few advantages if we’re pitting these two shows against each other. The Office aired on network TV, and access to HBO was not as ubiquitous throughout the 2010s as it is now. If both shows aired today, the tables might be turned — the widespread adoption of streaming has made it easier to access the HBO catalog, while the standard network sitcom format has been struggling. Instead, the timing was just right for The Office to go from being one of NBC’s heavy-hitter to the most beloved streaming binge-watch of the 2020s. For those that claim The Office as their comfort show, Veep might be the perfect thing to add to the rotation.

‘Veep’ Built on the Workplace Comedy Format

Veep stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, who is Vice President of the United States when the series begins. It’s a workplace comedy about her personal staff, including her Chief of Staff Amy Brookheimer (Anna Chlumsky), her personal aide Gary Walsh (Tony Hale), her deputy director of communications Dan Egan (Reid Scott), her White House liaison Jonah Ryan (Timothy Simons), her director of communications Mike McLintock (Matt Walsh), and her secretary Sue Wilson (Sufe Bradshaw). The show blends political intrigue seamlessly into the workplace comedy format, which was having a heyday at the time the show was picked up.

The Office is the prime example of workplace comedy in this century, but it spawned a lot of copycats. Many of the writers and producers behind The Office had a hand in other NBC hits like Parks & Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and later Superstore, among others. Veep was one of the most successful shows to build on this format on a different network, making it feel more distinct with its own message to convey. HBO’s premium production value certainly helped as well, even if the shorter season format was a bit of a hindrance.

Just as Steve Carrell‘s performance as Michael Scott defined The Office, Louis-Dreyfus’ portrayal of Selina Meyer was the lynchpin of Veep. Being an elected political figure is very different from an office manager, but she still managed to bring some of the same chaotic energy to the role. At the same time, she humanized Selina and made her easy to root for. Perhaps most importantly, she created a clear, visible example of a woman succeeding in modern politics. It may be fictional, but that kind of representation can help bring stories to life years later. When a woman does make it to the White House in real life, she will undoubtedly owe some thanks to Louis-Dreyfus, Selina Meyer, and Veep.

‘Veep’ Has all the Praise Without the Binge-Watch Label

There’s no arguing that Veep was a success in its time. The series won 17 Emmy Awards, with Louis-Dreyfus winning a record-breaking six Emmys for herself. The show was a critical darling and has remained so since it ended, landing on many prominent lists of the greatest sitcoms — or even simply greatest TV shows — of all time. Veep maintained relatively strong ratings by today’s standards as well, with its viewership dipping the most around Season 6. However, it was successful enough for home media releases of all seven seasons, and it still has a modest fandom active online today.

Veep is certainly not hurting for attention, but it should be discussed on the same level as The Office and others like it. The rapid advancement of streaming has leveled the playing field quite a bit when it comes to Veep‘s shorter seasons and accessibility. In fact, compared to many great shows of the 2020s, Veep has a huge catalog at 65 episodes. It may never be the “comfort show” that people binge and re-watch in the same way they do The Office, but it deserves to be. Hopefully in the years to come, more people will make Veep a part of their regular TV diet, and Selina Meyer will be immortalized alongside Michael Scott, Leslie Knope, and Liz Lemon. Veep is streaming now on HBO Max, and is available on DVD and Blu-ray.

HBO has had a wildly successful year so far in 2026, with shows like The Pitt and DTF St. Louis doing well at the Emmys. When it comes to shows with a high production value, one of the first to come to mind is The White Lotus, which is written and directed solely by Mike White.

Mike White is hard at work shooting the fourth season of The White Lotus right now, which will be the first in series history to be set in France. Collider’s Perri Nemiroff had the chance to chat with The White Lotus newcomer Heather Graham at Fantastic Fest to promote her new movie, What Happened to Doris, and she asked if there was anything during her experience filming Season 4 that has allowed her to flex her acting muscles. Graham told Collider:

“Well, Mike [White] one day was like, ‘We’ll just make up some stuff.’ And he let me just improv a monologue for, like, 10 minutes in this one scene, and I was like ‘Thank you, Mike.’ I don’t know if it’ll end up in [the final cut], but it was really fun.”

‘The White Lotus’ Star Heather Graham Reveals Season 4’s Standout

The White Lotus is an anthology series, and while each season of the show is set in the same world and usually features one, maybe two characters from a past season, it’s a largely new cast bringing a new story to life in a new location. There’s a world where this could make it tough for fans to connect with new characters every season, but Mike White does a stellar job not only writing compelling characters across the board, but finding the perfect actors to bring them to life on-screen.

Nemiroff also asked Heather Graham if there was anything she’s seen so far while filming The White Lotus Season 4 that’s impressed her in particular about any of her co-stars, and while she admits that she hasn’t had a chance to see the performances in the final product, one star did come to mind: “Well, I haven’t really seen everyone’s performances, but I have really come to adore Chris Messina from working on it. He’s a lovely human, and he’s got a really interesting character that he’s playing. He’s a sweetheart, and he’s playing a really interesting character.”
