Now that summer is coming to a close, I’m swapping out warm-weather staples for fall-looking pieces with chocolate hues, suede materials and layerable designs. To get the look I’m going for, I went hunting through Amazon’s End-of-Summer Sale for fashion finds that can bridge the gap between this season and the next. Think breezy matching sets, lightweight knits, closed-toe shoes and rich-looking accessories that won’t feel premature in August.
After plenty of scrolling, I narrowed the sale down to 19 Amazon pieces I’d actually add to my cart, starting at $9. There are retro-style sneakers, a cozy matching sweater set and even a plaid trench that’s over 50% off. Whether you’re squeezing out the last few weeks of summer or already dressing for September, there’s something here for you.
1. My Favorite: The chocolate brown suede and low-profile shape make these retro-style sneakers feel just right for a fall street-style outfit. I’d wear them with wide-leg jeans and a cozy knit on repeat — was $50, now $30!
2. Transition Shoe: Not ready for loafers yet? These lattice jelly flats have the closed-toe look I’m craving for fall with enough airflow to handle lingering summer temperatures — was $60, now $40!
3. Gingham Girl: This gingham matching set makes getting dressed ridiculously easy with its peplum tank and breezy wide-leg pants. The red print also feels like an effortless way to start sneaking fall colors into your wardrobe — was $40, now $30!
4. Budget Basic: At less than $10, this relaxed cap-sleeve tee is an inexpensive way to refresh everyday basics before fall. The short sleeves and drapey fit give it a slightly more elevated feel than a standard T-shirt — was $15, now $9!
5. Easy Breezy: Between the loose silhouette, lightweight fabric and Swiss dot detailing, this sleeveless boho blouse is ideal for outfits now and later. The lace accents give it enough polish for everything from lunch plans to casual Fridays — was $40, now $23!
6. Bye, Sandals: Wearing loafers in 77-degree weather is a no go, which is why these lattice Mary Jane flats hit the sweet spot. They offer closed-toe coverage while the open weave lets plenty of air through — was $50, now $35!
7. Denim Refresh: If your fall wardrobe could use new jeans, this high-waisted wide-leg pair is an easy place to start. They have a stretchy construction, roomy legs and this sophisticated dark wash — was $39, now $26!
8. Layer Up: I’m already picturing this plaid trench coat thrown over sweaters, jeans and loafers all season long. The classic check print makes it feel timeless, rather than overly trendy — was $90, now $43!
9. Fall Knit: Swap your basic work tee for this collared knit top, which instantly looks more polished without requiring any extra styling. The short sleeves make it practical for wearing well before sweater weather officially begins — was $34, now $19!
10. Floral Fix: I’m not giving up floral tops just because fall is around the corner, especially when there are polished half-sleeve blouses on Amazon. The muted blue print feels easy to carry into September with jeans and flats — was $35, now $30!
11. Skort Alert: You’d never guess this ruffled mini skirt has built-in shorts underneath the flowy tiers. It gives you the pretty look of a skirt without having to worry quite as much on breezy afternoons — was $27, now $18!
12. Two-for-One: This striped matching set gives you a cozy sweater and matching midi skirt that look chic together but can easily be styled separately. At $31 for both pieces, the cost-per-wear potential is hard to beat — was $50, now $31!
13. Denim Days: I’m always looking for lightweight layers I can throw over practically anything, and this denim button-down shirt fits the bill. I plan to pair it with tanks and shorts now, then sweaters and jeans later — was $37, now $25!
14. Suede Season: I’m ready to trade breezy summer shoes for rich-looking suede, starting with these brown Mary Jane flats. The chocolate hue practically screams ‘fall,’ but the flat silhouette keeps them easy enough for everyday wear — was $40, now $30!
15. Fall Romance: I’m squeezing in more dresses before summer ends, and this rust maxi dress transitions especially well into fall. The warm color, puff sleeves and waist-cinching belt give it such a romantic feel — was $55, now $23!
16. Loafer Love: A backless design gives these suede-looking loafers a more relaxed spin on the preppy classic. They’re exactly the kind of slip-on shoe I’d keep by the door for errands, workdays and weekend plans — was $56, now $45!
17. Polished Pants: These wide-leg trousers have the tailored pleats and high-rise fit I want for work without looking overly corporate. That deep coffee brown color also makes them feel much more fall-forward than basic black — was $50, now $30!
18. Statement Jeans: When my fall outfit needs a little more personality, these leopard-print jeans get the job done right. The wide-leg silhouette and subtle brown palette make the bold pattern surprisingly versatile — was $44, now $29!
19. Designer-Looking: Despite the delicate gold frame and sophisticated brown lenses, these retro polarized sunglasses ring in at only $16! I can see them being worn now through November — was $20, now $16!

Former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick thought he was about to have a moment with Tom Hanks, but instead, the legendary actor Big-timed him at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
“Tom Hanks knows who I am and he’s approaching me to talk to me,” Fitzpatrick, 43, said he was thinking on the Thursday, August 20 episode of the “Fitz and Whit” podcast. “I make eye contact…Tom’s gotta know who I am. Makes eye contact, points at me… so I’m feeling really good, I’m like, ‘Holy crap, how cool is this? Tom Hanks knows who I am and he’s approaching me to talk to me.’”
It turns out, that was not the case.
“He looks at me and he says, ‘Just so you know that’s a huge faux pas,” Fitzpatrick admitted. “You’re not supposed to wear a top hat at a wedding. That’s saved for the groom.’ And then [he] just keeps walking.”
Fitzpatrick continued, “It was like 50 percent that he was serious, 50 percent that it was a joke. I’m not sure which. But he has no idea who I am. I’m the guy that wore the top hat that was a huge faux pas at the wedding ‘cause it’s reserved for the groom.”
Fitzpatrick is a long-time friend of Kelce’s, having told Adam Schefter in 2022 that the pair met over a game of beer pong at a party. Despite his fashion error, the ex-quarterback has talked glowingly about his friend’s Madison Square Garden wedding, which took place on July 3.
“I may have cried,” he told at the ACC Golf Championship. “It was very emotional and also very fun and funny, too. It had all the feels.”
Fitzpatrick was also asked about the rumors that Kelce, 36, cried at the wedding.
“You know, it was kind of far away,” he said. “It might have been sweat that got in his eyes. I’m not sure. It was kind of far away, so I can’t tell you 100 percent.”
He added in an interview with People the week after the wedding that he was “floored” when he realized Adam Sandler would officiate the ceremony.
Afterward, FItzpatrick said he and his wife, Liza, tore it up on the dance floor.
“There was a lot of dancing, hours and hours, we’re still kind of recovering from being out on that dance floor for six-plus hours,” he said. “My favorite moment was just [when] I got to spend the night with my wife just on the dance floor, being around and being in it, so that was pretty magical for us.”
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent six years in California, royal watchers are wondering what really caused the couple to head back to the U.K.
“It is clear their time in America did not go to plan,” former royal butler Grant Harrold exclusively shares with Us. “We see that through the Netflix deal and some of their other commercial decisions. I think there are multiple factors at play. I suppose the dream life in the U.S. that they imagined didn’t come off.”
Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, initially signed a $100 million, multiyear deal to produce their own TV shows and movies with Netflix in 2020.
Although they have not completely cut ties with the couple, Netflix ended their partnership with Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, in March after two seasons of With Love, Meghan.
Harrold, 48, who previously worked with King Charles III and is now a British etiquette expert and broadcaster, noted that Harry and Meghan aren’t the first to make a big move and have a change of heart.
“This happens to people all the time,” Harrold shares. “Many move abroad and then change their minds and move back. It just happens that this certain decision is incredibly public.”

News broke on Wednesday, August 19, that Harry and Meghan are relocating their children to the U.K. for an extended period starting later this month. The couple’s son, Prince Archie, 7, and daughter, Princess Lilibet, 5, are scheduled to begin school there in September.
Harry and Meghan will reportedly keep their home in Montecito, California, and their vacation residence in Portugal while having non-royal property in Britain.
Meghan is expected to continue leading her lifestyle brand from their international home while also planning a return to acting. Harry, meanwhile, will be spending more time supporting U.K.-based charities and patronages.
While the moving news caught many fans by surprise, Harrold is hopeful that some members of the royal family, including Charles, 77, were made aware long before it became front-page news.
“We know Harry and the king have been working on their relationship for the last few months. Even if it was only confirmed [to Charles over] the weekend, I would like to think there has been back and forth between them,” Harrold, who is a partner of OLBG says. “I think Harry would have taken his dad’s advice on aspects of the move and taken his pointers. Harry knows that doing this behind his dad’s back would cause more upset, and I imagine he’s doing everything he can to keep things sweet at the moment.”
Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter addressed the recently announced spinoff Legends starring Charlie Hunnam and more original cast members.
“I know the news about Charlie’s show hit today, and I’ve been getting some queries about it. I just want to say my piece: I’m not involved with Legends at all, nor should I be,” Sutter, 66, said in a Thursday, August 20, Instagram video. “It has nothing to do with the characters I created or the mythology.”
Sutter explained that Legends, which will be a miniseries, is more about “the legacy” of Sons of Anarchy rather than the show itself. The screenwriter revealed that Hunnam, who is developing the project, approached him with the idea before taking it to FX.
“Just want folks to know that Charlie came to me early on, when he was in the process of pitching this to the network, to ask for my blessing, knowing that the IP [intellectual property] would probably not be able to be invoked for various reasons of legalese stuff, and I gave Charlie my full blessing,” he continued. “I wish nothing but the best for him in this project.”
Sutter added that his wife, Katey Sagal, is going to appear in the series as well. (Sagal starred in Sons of Anarchy as Gemma Teller Morrow, who was the mother of Hunnam’s character, Jax.)
The director teased that he caught a glimpse at the script for Legends while it was lying on his wife’s “knitting table” — and he thinks fans are going to like it.
“It’s so well-done, and I think you’ll dig it. And that’s my two cents,” he said. “I love Charlie to death, and I think you will have mad love for this project as well.”
Not only are Hunnam and Sagal returning, but a majority of the cast will be back as well. Ron Perlman, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates and Theo Rossi will also return.
According to the series’ premise, Legends will follow the Sons of Anarchy cast as they reunite “at a fan convention after more than a decade.”
“The line between life and art blurs as the fractured brotherhood finds itself up against a real-world threat more dangerous than anything they ever faced in their show,” the logline stated.
In addition to starring in Legends, Hunnam serves as an executive producer. It will be produced by FX Productions and 20th Television.
“When Charlie brought us this inspired idea, we instantly sparked to his bold and entertaining vision,” FX Entertainment president Nick Grad said in a statement after the network ordered the series. “Charlie’s talents are on full display as a writer, performer and executive producer, leading the real-life brotherhood on an adventure that is both a love letter to the series and a fun meta twist on what fans think they know.”
The ruling on the field stands: Nicole Williams English’s No. 1 cheerleader remains her husband and former NFL star, Larry English.
“Larry is so great because he’s just down for whatever, and he always hangs out with the girls,” Nicole, 42, exclusively shared with Us earlier this month when promoting The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project. “It’s like, you gotta expect this.”
In Hulu’s new reality show, Nicole can’t help but spill some secrets about her marriage to her costars, which includes longtime friends Olivia Pierson and Natalie Halcro. Khadijah Haqq-McCray, Malika Haqq and Yris Palmer are also part of the ensemble cast, with Khloé Kardashian serving as the executive producer.
The very first episode has Nicole sharing some OMG details about her sex life with her close gal pals.
“I feel like with girlfriends, I won’t say too much, but with girlfriends and hanging out with your best friends, having a couple drinks, you kind of just spill the beans on everything — even if it is very personal,” Nicole told Us. “And girl chat sometimes goes a little too far, and this definitely went there.”
She continued, “I’m not gonna say too much. Sometimes you overexaggerate a little bit when you’re drinking, and it just led to what you guys will see.”
Nicole and Larry, 40, first signed up for reality TV when they appeared on the E! reality series WAGS from 2015 to 2017. Cameras followed a group of ladies who were romantically linked to professional athletes.

During the show, viewers watched the couple get married during a romantic ceremony at the Montage Laguna Beach in Orange County, California. They are now raising 3-year-old daughter India.
Although it’s been nearly 10 years since Nicole last filmed with Olivia, 37, and Natalie, 38, the trio remain dear friends.
“We’ve been friends for so long. I mean, Nat and Liv were like sisters to [Larry],” Nicole told Us. “He’ll bicker about them. I bicker to them about him, you know. He’ll be like, ‘I’m going on a hot date tonight,’ and I’m like, ‘Cool, Nat and Liv are coming.’ He’s like, ‘Ah, why can’t we ever just be alone?’ We come as a three-pack.”
She continued, “It’s more than a friendship too. We met later in life, and usually when you do that, you become friends, but you don’t find a best friend in that. I definitely think we were just meant to be because we’re just all so similar.”
Watch the friendships unfold by streaming The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project now on Hulu.
It doesn’t get much cooler than Dua Lipa‘s sexy swimwear collection.
From trendy tie-dye designs to unique gemstone-colored bikinis, Lipa’s swimwear collection is a sun-loving babe’s dream come true.
In December 2019, Lipa unveiled her new album title, “Future Nostalgia,” in one of the most iconic ways possible: by tattooing it on her upper arm. For the big debut, Lipa posted an Instagram photo wearing a sporty black bikini featuring a floral design, with her hair up in a casual-cool bun. If that’s not proof that Lipa’s one of the most badass celebs to walk this earth, then we don’t know what is!
More recently, she sparkled in a white sequin triangle top and matching bottoms while seemingly celebrating her bachelorette trip after confirming her engagement with Callum Turner in June 2026. In August, she rocked a brown-and-yellow bikini with polka dot details.

The lawyer representing Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s son Kroy “KJ” Biermann is speaking out following the teen’s arrest for aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.
“First and foremost, this is not the kind of information that should be for public dissemination. These are juveniles,” KJ’s attorney Jason Sheffield told Us in a statement on Friday, August 21. “Secondly, my client is 100 percent innocent and tried to present evidence to the arresting officer, including a passed polygraph by a notable and respected sex offender polygrapher.”
Sheffield continued, “Additionally, the officer’s report notes the GBI [Georgia Bureau of Investigation] found no male DNA on or inside the areas the alleged victim claimed she was assaulted. Had the officer sat down with me, I feel certain she would’ve never made an arrest.”
According to a police report obtained by Us on Friday, KJ, 15, was booked in Alpharetta, Georgia for the felony charges earlier in the week. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 8. KJ is currently being held at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. A bond was not set.
The alleged incident took place at Lifetime Fitness on April 23 and the minor female victim, who Us has chosen not to identify, reported an aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy and was taken to the hospital. The alleged victim underwent a test and the results found no evidence of male DNA in her mouth or vagina, per the report.
“Sadly, these false allegations are a desperate cry for attention and are motivated by my client’s past rejection of the alleged victim’s unwanted advances. The fact that he’s been arrested and is being held without bond is a tragedy. He is not only presumed innocent but is, in fact, innocent,” Sheffield told Us on Friday.
He vowed, “I will work tirelessly to demonstrate to the District Attorney’s office the mean-spirited nature of these false allegations and to bring a close to this matter as quickly as possible. I’m asking the public not to presume the truth of these allegations and to give the families on both sides their space and privacy.”
KJ is one of the sons Zolciak, 48, shares with estranged husband Kroy, 40, whom she married in 2011. The exes, who split in 2023, are also parents to son Kash and twins Kaia and Kane. (Kroy also adopted Zolciak’s two eldest daughters, Ariana and Brielle, whom she welcomed during a previous relationship.)
Shortly after news broke of KJ’s arrest, Zolciak broke her silence and slammed the allegations made against her son.
“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum said in a statement to Us on Friday. “My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found.”
Zolciak continued, “False accusations can have devastating consequences not only for the person being accused, but also for genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence. At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation. We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”
If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673).
Wendy Williams has been spotted on a public outing for the first time since February.
The former talk show host, 62, was spotted walking around New York City with shopping bags on Wednesday, August 19, as seen in photos obtained by Page Six. She sported a black T-shirt, high-rise jean shorts and black boots and carried a red handbag. Williams was accompanied by a male companion, with whom she was seen chatting as they walked through the streets.
During the outing, Williams was asked by a paparazzo what she had to tell fans about “what she is going through.”
According to the outlet, the TV personality responded, “I want out!”
Williams has been under a court-ordered financial and personal conservatorship in New York since May 2022. At the time, claimed to a New York Supreme Court judge that the former radio DJ was an “incapacitated person” who needed a “temporary guardian” to ensure her “affairs are being properly handled.”
Sabrina E. Morrissey, a New York-based attorney, was subsequently appointed as Williams’ legal guardian.
Williams has voiced her opposition to the guardianship and denied that she is cognitively impaired.
“They say that I need somebody to handle my accounts, and I don’t want that. I want all my money,” she said on Good Morning America in 2022. “I want to see all my money that I worked hard for my entire life. My entire life. I don’t lie, and I don’t cheat, and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hardworking person.”
In 2018, Williams revealed that she had been quietly battling Graves’ disease, a chronic autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks the thyroid gland. Her battle with the illness led her to take a hiatus from The Wendy Williams Show in 2020. (The talk show was later canceled in 2022 amid Williams’ health struggles.)
Williams’ team later announced in 2024 that she had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and aphasia the year prior. FTD is a group of brain diseases that affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain and lead to problems with thinking and behavior.
Following her diagnosis, Williams was placed in a treatment center, where her family was unable to contact her.
Last year, Williams submitted paperwork to end her conservatorship in February 2025, but the filing was denied.
The following month, Williams told Page Six that she felt “better than good” amid her health and conservatorship battles.
“I am fabulous. I’m better than good, but have been accused to being otherwise,” she told the outlet in March 2025. “I am very much alive. I deserve freedom, darling.”
Her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, also filed a $250 million lawsuit in June 2025 attempting to end the guardianship, claiming it had “become a weapon, not a shield.”
Hunter, who was married to Williams from 1999 to 2020, claimed that his ex was “being abused, neglected, and defrauded under the care of court-appointed guardians.”
Williams’ lawyers said they found Hunter’s lawsuit to be “detrimental” to the media personality’s interests, Us reported in July 2025.
“Moreover, [Williams] herself does not believe the complaint is in her best interest,” the paperwork read. (Hunter’s lawsuit was ultimately dismissed in October 2025.)
Get a rundown of Us‘ top stories making headlines in celebrity news, sports and entertainment on August 21, 2026. Here are the key takeaways:
• Kim Zolciak‘s son Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr. was arrested in Alpharetta, Georgia, for sodomy and aggravated sexual assault on August 17, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 8. Zolciak said her son “categorically denies” involvement, voluntarily took and passed a polygraph examination and that no DNA belonging to him was found on his alleged victim.
• Hayden Panettiere‘s three best friends — Emily Buckingham, Kasey Kitchen and Allie Beatti — shared heartfelt tributes exclusively with Us, honoring the late actress on what would have been her birthday, August 21, five days after her death. They remembered her as empathic, fiery, brave, funny and deeply committed to helping others and advocating for mental health and substance abuse awareness.
• Zach Hickerson, the brother of Panettiere’s on-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, laid out a timeline of the effort to save her life, saying he found her unconscious at an Airbnb in Greenville, South Carolina, called 911 and jointly performed CPR with Brian while Brian administered Narcan. An autopsy found no signs of trauma that would have contributed to her death, and the Drug Enforcement Administration is investigating.

Not only is it very expensive to purchase an Hermès bag, but you have to be very lucky to get one in stock, too. Or, you could skip the games by going right to the lookalike on Amazon that shoppers are seriously wowed by. The Kadynow Faux-Leather Top-Handle Bag is roomy enough for your everyday essentials but sleek enough to wear from day to night.

For fall, we’re eyeing the deep red and dark brown.
Hundreds of real-life shoppers have given this top-handle bag five out of five stars on Amazon. Many point out that the material feels like real leather without the real leather price tag.

The Spa Weekend stars Leslie Mann, Anna Faris, Isla Fisher and Michelle Buteau showed off their swimwear in a now-viral dance clip.
“Best friends, bathing suits & bad decisions!” Buteau, 49, wrote via Instagram on Friday, August 21. “@spaweekendmovie serves up all the chaos you need!👙🥂✨.”
The video featured Mann, 54, in a black bikini and Faris, 49, rocking a striped two-piece as they stood next to each other. The women flaunted their toned stomachs as they stared down the camera.
Fisher, 50, was behind Faris and Mann and donned a pink floral and animal print one-piece. She walked over to stand in between Faris and Mann. The actress hooked her legs between her costars legs. The three exchanged glances before they started moving their hips to a techno beat that played in the background.
Buteau, who was hiding below the frame, popped up and started to sway to the beat. The comedian donned a bright blue swimsuit.
The clip earned praise from multiple famous faces.
“This is so f***ing weird and I am OBSESSED,” singer JoJo wrote in the comments section while Jersey Shore’s Jenni “JWoww” Farley replied, “Whatever this is … I f***ing love it lol.”
Fans of the actresses also gushed about how great they looked.
“Bodies are Bodying 😍,” one social media user responded while another shared, “Ok but you’re all bad af 🔥🔥🔥 get it.”
Mann, Faris, Fisher and Buteau all star in their new movie, Spa Weekend, which hit theaters on Friday. The comedy follows a group of childhood friends who book a stay at a resort to relax and get away from their daily obligations. Another pal crashes the trip and the foursome get into some trouble.
While on the red carpet for its premiere, Faris opened up about how filming Spa Weekend on location helped the group form a strong bond.
“We hung out more, and we got to know each other, and that felt really, really special,” the actress told USA Today.
Spa Weekend producer Suzanne Todd revealed to People on Thursday, August 20, that filming was delayed for three days due to weather conditions. Todd told the outlet that the impromptu down time led to the ladies “literally making bikini TikTok dance videos.”
“We had them in the most incredible oceanfront suites, exactly where you would want to be, 180-degree view of the ocean — until there’s a cyclone,” she said of the conditions that had everyone staying in their rooms. “And then it was 100-mile-an-hour winds and swells like you couldn’t imagine.”
