Sometimes, you don’t plan to watch a full 2–3 hour movie. I know I don’t. I just press play, give it a few minutes, and if it doesn’t pull me in, I’m out. Most films lose me somewhere in the middle anyway, even if they start strong.
But action movies are a bit different when they’re done right. When the story is tight and the action actually makes sense, you don’t feel the time passing. One scene leads into the next, and you’re not waiting for things to get better because they’re already gripping. That balance is hard to get right, which is why so many films fall apart halfway through. The ones on this list don’t have that problem. They stay consistent, keep the tension alive, and actually feel riveting from start to finish.
In Speed, during a routine assignment, officer Jack Traven (Keanu Reeves) becomes involved in a situation that involves a bomber who targets public transportation. After stopping an earlier threat, Jack learns that a new device has been placed on a city bus with a condition that it will detonate if the vehicle slows below a specific speed. He rushes to locate the bus and boards it while it is already in motion. Inside the bus, he meets Annie Porter (Sandra Bullock), a passenger who is forced to take control of the vehicle after the driver is injured.
As the story continues, Jack works with Annie to keep the bus moving while managing the passengers and steering through traffic. The attacker places certain conditions that require constant attention, since any mistake could trigger the device. While Jack is trying to talk to the authorities, as well as find a solution to eliminate the threat, the moving bus becomes the main focus.
Die Hard begins on the night of a corporate Christmas party, where John McClane (Bruce Willis) arrives at a high-rise building in Los Angeles to reconnect with his wife. While the event is underway, a group of armed men, led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), takes control of the building and holds the employees hostage. While McClane slips away from the main floor to avoid being caught, he quietly watches what’s happening inside the building while staying hidden.
Following the takeover, McClane moves through different levels of the building while using limited resources to interfere with the group’s plan. He establishes contact with outside authorities and attempts to pass information about the situation. Each action he takes creates a response from the attackers that forces him to adjust his approach while working to reduce their control over the hostages and prevent their plan from being completed.
The story of The Raid begins when a special police unit enters a heavily guarded apartment building that is controlled by a crime leader named Tama (Ray Sahetapy). The group, led by Officer Rama (Iko Uwais), climbs floor after floor with a goal to occupy the building and seize its leader. But early in the mission, they are discovered, and what began as a planned operation quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival inside the confined space.
With the growing situation, the members of the team become separated, and their communication breaks down. Still, Rama keeps pushing forward through the building, facing armed opponents stationed on every floor. The environment limits escape routes, and eventually, they are forced into confrontation. Each fight shifts Rama’s position in the building, as he continues toward his goal while adapting to the shifting conditions.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day follows as a young boy named John Connor (Edward Furlong) becomes the target of a machine sent from the future known as the T-1000 (Robert Patrick), which is designed to locate and eliminate him. At the same time, another machine, the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), is sent back with the purpose of protecting him. Initially, John does not understand the situation, but the presence of both machines forces him to recognize the threat surrounding him.
After the chase, the T-800 focuses on protecting John and explains the future events tied to his survival. Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), John’s mother, joins them as they try to stop the rise of technology that could cause future destruction. Together, they move from place to place while avoiding the T-1000, whose ability to adapt makes every encounter dangerous.
Mad Max: Fury Road takes place in a desert wasteland where resources are controlled by force. Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) is captured by a group led by Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). At the same time, Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) begins transporting individuals away from Joe’s control in an attempt to escape. Their paths eventually cross in the desert, and they pull Max into the struggle.
As the journey continues, the group is chased by the forces determined to drag them back into the controlled territory. However, they have to keep moving because stopping is too dangerous. The environment adds further difficulty, with limited resources and harsh conditions affecting every decision. Each encounter during the pursuit alters their direction while they continue to move toward safety.
The story of The Dark Knight takes place in Gotham City, where Batman (Christian Bale) continues working alongside Lieutenant James Gordon (Gary Oldman) to reduce organized crime. Their efforts begin to produce results until a new figure known as the Joker (Heath Ledger) emerges and disrupts the existing structure. His actions are unpredictable and not tied to a clear objective, which changes how the city responds to him.
As the situation slowly unfolds, district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) steps in to maintain order through the law. Meanwhile, the Joker’s actions spread chaos and force people into making difficult choices. Batman continues to respond, but each move against the growing threat brings heavy consequences.
In Aliens, after surviving a previous encounter, Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) returns to a distant planet with a group of marines who are sent to investigate a colony that has lost contact. When they arrive, they discover that the colony has been overtaken by alien creatures. Based on her earlier experience, Ripley provides information, helping the group understand the nature of the threat they are facing.
The team is attacked by the creatures on their way to the colony and begins to lose its members. However, Ripley takes responsibility for protecting a child named Newt (Carrie Henn), who survived the initial outbreak. The group keeps searching for a way out while facing repeated attacks inside the tight, dangerous space of the colony.
Raiders of the Lost Ark follows archaeologist Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), who is tasked with finding a religious artifact known as the Ark of the Covenant before it is obtained by opposing forces. His search takes him across multiple locations as he follows clues connected to the artifact’s history. During the journey, he reunites with Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen), who becomes involved in the search.
When Indiana proceeds with information collection, he comes across individuals who are attempting to reach the artifact first. The search leads to several confrontations as both sides attempt to gain control. However, Indiana relies on his knowledge and experience to navigate each situation while continuing toward the final location where the artifact is believed to be hidden.

The internet stays in debate mode, and this time folks have their eyes on 21 Savage, thinking he just addressed GloRilla’s sister Victoria Woods after she took shots at Latto amid her pregnancy. 21 didn’t drop any names. He just slid in with a quick lil’ message on social media, but now fans are trying to read between the lines, wondering if he was clapping back at her.
On Friday, May 1, 21 Savage came through with a message making it real clear that people might think they know him, but they don’t. Out of nowhere, the rapper dropped a post on his Instagram Story that read, “I really learn things about my life on here,” alongside three laughing emojis. He didn’t tag anyone, but fans think he was lowkey clocking GloRilla’s sister Victoria Woods after she called out Latto in a now-viral video. In the clip, Victoria specifically says Big Mama isn’t claimed by her man in public and alleges she’s having a baby by a married man.
“Latto, you not even getting claimed in public by your baby daddy, b***h. Like, h*e you pregnant by a married man while you wanna sit here and put Glo on a record,” Victoria said.
The internet streets have been trying to prove that Latto and 21 are expecting a child together ever since she announced her pregnancy in March. The speculation grew even more after fans thought they peeped some clues in Latto’s ‘Business & Personal’ music video. The visuals show a mystery man with tattoos that folks think resemble 21’s, and his baby photos seemingly appear in the scrapbook Latto puts together. But even with all of that, neither Latto or 21 have confirmed whether they’re expecting a child together.
After The Shade Room reposted 21’s message, folks ran to the comment section. Plenty of Roomies said they think his post was a lil’ clap back at Victoria Woods. Peep some of the reactions below.
Instagram user @karranr_ wrote, “This in reference to StudRilla for sure.”
Instagram user @____cretia_x wrote, “Speak on the pregnancy dawg we craving the tea😭😭😭”
While Instagram user @prettyjazzlifts wrote, “So you learned about the baby on TikTok like we did?”
Then Instagram user @just__sayingtho wrote, “Basically he said ain’t married…but if y’all want to keep on with the lie y’all created just keep going.”
Another Instagram user @myrical.c wrote, “So he ain’t married ?🫠😂”
Instagram user @doniesharoshae_ wrote, “Lmao. Latto told him he better say sum. 😂”
Then another Instagram user @emis_mommyyyy wrote, “You responding when she never said your name .. although it might be in reference to, you responding is still very telling sir 😂”
While another Instagram user @1994rebel wrote, “I knew he was gone say sumn 😂”
Finally, Instagram user @b3autiful_._ wrote, “Not Brorilla brought him out the woods 🤣🤣🤣🤣”
You’re probably wondering why Latto caught a stray in Victoria Woods’ clap-back video. Well, Victoria it appears Victoria made her video in response to Glo’s diss on Latto’s ‘GOMF.’
On the record Glo says: “Get out my face, ho (Ho), beggin’ for change, ho (Yup). Get you a hustle and get that p***y out your face, ho (Yup). You coulda been anything, it’s a million ways to get paid, ho (Yup). But you ain’t s**t but a freaky stud that’s laced.”
Victoria clearly peepd it and wasted no time going in on her sister while calling out Big Mama too. She didn’t stop with the ladies either. Victoria also came for Drake and Soulja Boy. She went off on Drizzy for suing Kendrick Lamar over his diss track. Woods didn’t spare Soulja one bit either, she criticized his style just because he sampled the song. Latto’s ‘GOMF’ actually samples Soulja’s 2007 hit, ‘Yahhh.’
“Soulja Boy your outfit still big as f**k ever since youuuuuuu and you lame as f**k and can’t rap. I’m coming for all y’all heads, f**k all y’all and anybody who like that motherf*****g song and has stamped it…” Victoria said in the clip.

Video game adaptations have become increasingly popular, and they’re targeting an audience beyond those interested in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. While traditional adaptations may have been boxed in by their faithfulness to the source material, Prime Video’s Fallout uses the original games as a launchpad for more creativity. The world is vast and complicated, but the series tells a surprisingly emotional story about three characters of different affiliations whose paths cross. Fallout isn’t a standard post-apocalyptic story because it isn’t filled with the doom and gloom that has come to dominate science fiction; instead, its compelling new landscape feels like a futuristic Western that opens up a new frontier for humanity.
Even though the series includes a fair number of flashbacks that explore how a retrofuturistic society became a decimated wasteland, Fallout creatively establishes different factions of humanity. Members of the military organization known as the Brotherhood of Steel, including Maximus (Aaron Moten), gather pre-war technology to expand their domain. Other survivors have endured in a series of underground Vaults that aren’t exposed to the dangers of the surface, but Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) escapes from her home in Vault 33 to search for her father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan), who is part of a conspiracy that she hasn’t been aware of. Perhaps the most intriguing story is that of Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins), a former Western actor who has survived centuries as a mutated being known as the Ghoul. Fallout is a series that is peppered with Easter eggs for devoted gamers, but it’s also perfect for anyone who likes a good binge-watch.
Fallout is refreshingly light on exposition, given that the worldbuilding within the games is fairly elaborate, but the series revolves around several key points of view. Each of the lead characters has been forced to question their reality in one way or another, and their individual paths of discovery make for interesting drama. Lucy learns that the Vaults she has spent her life in represent only a small portion of what the world has to offer, and that she has been lied to about what is outside of the bunkers. Similarly, Maximus has spent his entire life dedicated to the chivalrous ways of the Brotherhood, but begins to recognize that it isn’t quite the honorable organization that he had thought it might be. Cooper’s development is particularly fascinating because it’s set within two different timelines of 2077 and 2296; while the Cooper of the past learns that there are those in power who are benefiting from the disaster that has ravaged the Earth’s surface, the Ghoul is dead-set on finding his family and doesn’t care what lines he needs to cross to achieve that goal.
Prime Video’s 94% RT Sci-Fi Western Is Still a Colossal Hit on Streaming Charts
This post-apocalyptic adventure keeps getting better.
Fallout is one of the most ambitious shows on television when it comes to scale alone, featuring breathtaking visuals and some of the most action-packed storytelling on any streaming series. The style doesn’t simply copy video game cut scenes; the series feels lived-in, particularly in moments that observe the different cultures that emerged in locations across the surface. That being said, the most exhilarating set pieces would be worthless if Fallout didn’t have the writing to match it, and thankfully, the show has interesting ideas about both history and legacy. Lucy and Maximus discover that lies are no way to withstand societal infrastructure, no matter how comforting they may seem; conversely, the Ghoul has spent so much time without forging connections that he has become oblivious to the monster that he has become.
Fallout is the rare big-budget, buzzy show that has managed to get released on a consistent schedule, and as a result, it hasn’t lost momentum. While the first season was released as a binge-drop, Season 2 premiered new episodes weekly, in a decision that proved its staying power. There’s too much detail in each episode to fully appreciate it in a single sitting, and the gap between new releases has allowed fans to develop even more intricate theories. However, Fallout is still designed to be watched in quick succession because of how serialized the story is, so anyone trying to binge the series over the course of a single weekend could do so easily.
In an era where many shows hit a sophomore slump, Fallout only gets better, with a second installment that is funnier, weirder, and even more emotionally satisfying than its predecessor. It hasn’t yet become diluted by spin-offs or jumped the shark with its story, making now the perfect time to catch up with a show that is likely to continue for many more years. Escapism can often be a term that is used in a derogatory way, but Fallout is a series that provides maximum entertainment while also having much larger ideas on its mind.

Elon Musk is now one of the most famous and successful people in the history of the human race. He’s become a real-life Tony Stark, but he didn’t get that way overnight. It took a lot of work and a lot of reading.
These are the books that he says most influenced his life.

Musk met Thiel when Thiel was running PayPal and Musk was running a rival payment company. Musk wholeheartedly believes Thiel knows how to create and run “breakthrough” companies.

It doesn’t sound like beach reading, but apparently it’s “really fun.” Clark’s account of the history of rocket fuel draws on his background as a chemist and also explains the science and the politics behind the industry.

Another book Elon read to familiarize himself with rocketry and structural engineering.

It’s probably unsurprising that Musk cited the book Einstein: His Life and Universe as a formative read. Like Musk, Einstein overcame some difficult personal circumstances to become one of the most renowned scientists of all time. Isaacson’s biography of Benjamin Franklin was also formative for Musk, not just because Franklin was a scientist, but because he was an entrepreneur. He calls Franklin “one of his heroes.”

Worth reading Superintelligence by Bostrom. We need to be super careful with AI. Potentially more dangerous than nukes.
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 3, 2014
I’m happy to see Nick Bostrom’s Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies on the list. The book influenced Musk’s thinking about the dangers of AI, which is something all scientists and engineers need to keep in mind.
Musk reportedly had a rough early childhood in South Africa. He was runty and too smart for his own good, and kids called him “Muskrat.” So he’d do what a lot of people with rough childhoods (and adulthoods) do: he escaped into fantasy and science fiction.

Musk is a big Asimov fan and calls Foundation “one of the all-time best.”

The Lord of the Rings was one of the books Musk sought refuge in during childhood.

Musk infamously loves The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which helped him cope with what he calls an “existential crisis” during his early teenage years. Where Nietzsche and Schopenhauer failed to guide Musk through that time, Adams’ ridiculous romp succeeded.

Lastly, Musk was a huge fan of Robert Heinlein, specifically The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress and Stranger in a Strange Land, even though according to Musk, the latter “kind of goes off the rails at the end.” True. However, he named his AI Grok after a term used by Heinlein in Stranger in a Strange Land.

Gwyneth Paltrow has long been a fan of keeping her routine streamlined, and the Goop Beauty Microderm Body Polish is proof. The two-in-one formula — which is currently discounted during Amazon’s Summer Beauty Event — is one of the first products she reaches for in the shower, setting the foundation for the pared-down routine she shared in her “everything shower” breakdown on Goop. There, she explained how this “two-in-one trick” helps her focus on fewer, high-performing steps that make a bigger impact.
The formula functions as both a cleanser and an exfoliator — and that combination matters more than it sounds. Cleansing helps remove sweat, oil and daily buildup sitting on the surface of the skin, while exfoliation goes a step further by lifting away dead skin cells that can make skin feel rough or look dull. Combining the two in one step means you’re addressing both every time you shower, which helps keep skin clearer, softer and more even-feeling overall.
Get the Goop Beauty Microderm Body Polish for $38 (was $48) at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate as of the publishing date but are subject to change.
As far as exfoliation, this body polish is thorough without feeling aggressive. Finely milled mineral particles work across the skin to loosen and lift dead skin cells, buildup and residue from things like sunscreen or self-tanner. As it’s massaged, you’ll feel it actively smoothing the texture in real time (you know, that slightly gritty, satisfying polish that leaves skin immediately softer once rinsed). With consistent use, that surface-level smoothing adds up, helping skin look more even and less dull over time.
The texture plays a major role in its performance. It has a creamy, dense base that spreads easily over damp skin, allowing the exfoliating particles to glide instead of drag. That cushion keeps it from feeling harsh, even if you spend a little extra time working it into rougher areas. It rinses clean without leaving behind a heavy film, but it also doesn’t strip the skin, so you’re left with a balanced, comfortable finish rather than tightness.
One Amazon shopper who called the polish “incredible” said it leaves “skin feeling so soft,” while another deemed it the “best scrub ever.”
If your routine feels like too many steps for not enough payoff, this is an easy place to streamline. Shop the Goop Beauty Microderm Body Polish now while it’s 20% off!

Roomies, the internet is side-eyeing The Game after they caught him in the comment section of Evelyn Lozada’s latest post. Evelyn was glowing and showing off her self-care vibes, but Game seemed to think she was showing a lil’ too much skin to be his son’s grandmother.
Chileeeeee, the internet is trying to figure out whether The Game wants to be the son-in-law or MORE after he commented on Evelyn Lozada’s video. Evelyn popped out looking good, rocking a black blazer, a deep V-cut bodysuit, and leather pants. She made it clear that “mom’s out” and ready for a time. Game caught the video and wasted no time telling her about herself. He straight-up told her she’s somebody’s grandmother and needed to cover up. “You’re someone’s grandmother… cover up for Christ’s sake.”
Evelyn hasn’t responded yet, but folks online are definitely speaking for her. Plenty of people are saying Game’s comment felt more flirty than corrective, like he was shooting his shot instead of checking her.
Reactions kept rolling in The Shade Room’s comment section, with some folks saying Evelyn is aging backwards, while others called out The Game and said he was in fact flirting with his son’s grandmother.
Instagram user @nodiggity__ wrote, “they flirting.”
Instagram user @king.onyx1 wrote, “This is so weird.”

Finally, Instagram user @bornjustright wrote, “His comment just gave me the heebie-jeebies 🥹🫤🫤🫤😽”
Folks online stay eyeing The Game and Evelyn, wondering if there’s more to them than what they’re presenting. A lot of the speculation comes from the fact that Evelyn is actually his son Blaze Taylor’s grandmother since the rapper welcomed him with Evelyn’s daughter, Shaniece Hairston.
Game’s comment on Evelyn’s video isn’t the first time they’ve raised eyebrows. Back in February, folks thought they were doing too much while having a lil’ kiii on Evelyn and Shaniece’s podcast. At one point, Game gave Evelyn props for being one of the “best looking grandmas on earth.” He even admitted he always tells her “how good she looks at 50.” Viewers who watched the podcast clocked those remarks and started wondering if they were doing too much right in front of Shaniece. Peep the video below.

Scientists discover hundreds of one-dimensional filaments in space.
By Zack Zagranis
| Published

It turns out those stretched-out hyperspace lines from Star Wars are real. Sort of. In 2023, a team of astrophysicists discovered a bunch of one-dimensional filaments, 5-10 light-years long, chilling in the middle of our galaxy, the Milky Way. Years later, they’re still investigating, and the mystery is only growing.
While the long white lines that appear when Han Solo throws the hyperspace lever on the Falcon are actually stars, these new filaments are thought to be some kind of outflow from Sagittarius A, a supermassive black hole that lies at the center of the Milky Way. Essentially, the filaments are exceptionally long strings of electrons interacting with a magnetic field. These new filaments run horizontally and appear on only one side of Sag A, leading scientists to believe they formed from the black hole millions of years ago.

That’s right; these one-dimensional space strings aren’t exactly new. Even if we set aside their age, the existence of gigantic one-dimensional filaments in the Milky Way was discovered back in the early ’80s by astrophysicist Farhad Yusef-Zadeh. The filaments Yusef-Zadeh discovered, however, were huge vertical monoliths measuring up to 150 light-years high. It’s the horizontal orientation of the new filaments that makes them so interesting.
“I’m used to them being vertical,” Yusef-Zadeh confessed in the new paper released by Northwestern University. “I never considered there might be others along the plane.” Yusef-Zadeh went on to explain that studying the Milky Way’s filaments could help scientists learn more about the way Sag A spins and its orientation relative to the rest of the Milky Way.
The old vertical filaments first discovered hanging around the Milky Way in 1984 run perpendicular to the galactic plane. The new horizontal filaments, however, are parallel to the plane and point radially toward the black hole at the center of our galaxy. Another difference between the two types of filaments is how they behave.

The up-and-down lines are magnetic and relativistic, while the left-and-right lines appear to emit thermal radiation. The Milky Way’s vertical filaments contain particles moving at close to the speed of light; the horizontal ones accelerate thermal material in a molecular cloud. Comparing the two is like the celestial equivalent of comparing apples to oranges.
Yusef-Zadeh credits enhanced radio astronomy technology, specifically the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory’s MeerKAT telescope. The scientist used a specialized technique to remove the background from MeerKAT images while also smoothing out noise to isolate the filaments from the surrounding environment. Yusef-Zadeh called the new MeerKAT images a “game changer.”
As scientists well know, every new discovery brings with it a million new questions, and these horizontal filaments are no exception. Yusef Zadeh is hard at work unraveling all of the new Milky Way mysteries that come with the new filaments. “Our work is never complete.” confessed Yusef-Zadeh. The astrophysicist went on to stress the importance of always making “new observations,” constantly challenging existing ideas, and refining analysis.
These filaments are just one more clue that points toward the center of the Milky Way and the black hole that sits there as the key to understanding our whole galaxy better. Sag A is a swirling black mass of curiosities like these horizontal filaments, waiting for scientists to discover them.
General Hospital sees that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is torn between women, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) being set up, and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about to get a new lease on life, the stage is set for some big couple shakeups, a whole bunch of them.
As we slide deeper into May sweeps, we expect to see some couples splitting and some new pairings that honestly seem plausible.
So, right now we’ve already got two couples on the rocks, one that has kind of been done for a while, but one of the people didn’t know. And another where they don’t realize yet they’re on the rocks, but they’re about to be. So, first, of course, there’s Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
And as far as Carly is concerned, they’ve been over for a while, but he doesn’t know it. Because she’s still sleeping with Jack and pretending that they are still a couple while she and Valentin plot to destroy him. And when Carly’s sleeping with Jack, she’s actually pretending that he’s Valentin in her head.
But this week, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is up to some serious shenanigans and she told Brennan that Carly is cheating on him and that their relationship is already over. He just doesn’t know it. Josslyn says that Brennan has already lost her mother. So, the only upside is Joss didn’t tell Brennan that Carly is cheating with Valentin. That would push him over the edge.
This week, looks like Brennan barges into Carly’s bedroom after he grills Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about his ex-wife. And Carly’s in bed in a sheet looking undressed, unsettled, maybe postcoital. But we don’t know if Jack actually catches her red-handed with Valentin.
Even if Brennan doesn’t catch them in the act, he and Carly seem destined to officially explode soon now that Joss has revealed this. I’m also curious if Jack will tell Carly that Joss busted her out. So, we’ve heard from our leaker that Brennan could die soon and goes out a hero. So, either way, he and Carly seem doomed and Valentin and Carly may be an official couple after Jack dies or even sooner once she’s outed.
And we may see more of Valentin being torn. Because his longtime love and obsession, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), is in trouble in France and he’s been calling to check on her. So, Valentin may wind up completely torn between Carly and Anna, but fans seem to want him with Carly, and honestly, I do, too. It’s the most I’ve liked her in a good long time in terms of romantic pairings.
Also, Cynthia Watros talked in an interview about the possibility of a romance between Brennan and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), given his recent change in tone with her. Cynthia said, “Even though Brennan and Nina are at odds, they have a lot in common, neither of them has a lot of friends or family,” she more than him. Plus, Jack is about to be big mad at Carly, and that’s something Nina can sympathize with since she is constantly at odds with Carly.” Cynthia Watros also said she loves the idea of Jack and Nina trying to come together and work to get out of the mess that has been going on between them. Plus, it’s been a hot minute since she’s had any romance.
The actress also addressed what happens when Brennan and Nina find out it’s Valentin that Carly’s cheating with. When they find out, Cynthia Watros says that she thinks it’ll trigger Nina and said she doesn’t know if Valentin and Nina would ever reunite, but that Nina has a love for Valentin and probably won’t like the idea of him being with Carly. So, the actress said she thinks Nina will be really hurt by that. So, if Jack does not die, like our leaker said he might, you know, maybe he’s got a future with Nina.
All right. Another couple in jeopardy, although they don’t really know it right now, is Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Chase. Because if Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) gets his way, we’re going to see Chase hooking up with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
And it was Chase showing up with flowers for Willow when Michael was at Willow’s office that had him having this aha moment. So, we know that Michael thinks pushing Chase over to her and getting them to cheat means he’ll be able to take Willow down. Michael also thinks Brook Lynn is better off without Chase.
So, if Brooklyn and Chase do end up splitting, we could see Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) winding up with, you know, his other baby mama, Brooklyn. That would be interesting. They have put them a lot together over the past like six months or so. But Michael’s meddling could result in a bit of karma slapping him and his own relationship getting problematic.
So, our leaker recently told us that Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) may be connected to Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean). I mean, that’s plausible. Because Justine ran off to Australia after Nina and Portia paid her to target Drew. And if you remember, Ethan was raised in Australia.
So, our source says Jacinda and Ethan may have a thing where they collaborate on scams like he used to do with Rebecca Shaw (Natalia Livingston) back in the day, who was Emily Quartermaine’s (also Natalia Livingston) sketchy twin sister and Ethan’s lover and his partner in crime. So, there’s a chance Jacinda might have a similar arrangement with him.
Now, we all know Michael has a cursed love life. Three dead, actually, no, four dead girlfriends and exes. Abby Haver (Andrea Bogart) died, Kiki Jerome (Haley Erin) died, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) died, and Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) died. Not all while they were with him, but it’s like you date him, you’re going to be dead. Willow cheated. He can’t keep a good woman.
So, if Michael’s heart is broken. Because Jacinda’s a schemer plotting with Ethan, I mean, that would kind of line up to his history. And Michael and Jacinda could be over and done, and she might wind up with Ethan, who may be her secret boyfriend. So, some fans also expect Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) might try and steal Jacinda from Michael. Either way, I wouldn’t be shocked if his romance is doomed.

And next, our leaker mentioned Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) may have a medical crisis that could kill him. Even if that doesn’t manifest, odds are he’s going to screw things up with Elizabeth at some point. And they’ve also been chemistry testing her in scenes with Dante.
And our leaker also hinted that Elizabeth and Drew might get another chance at romance this summer after he’s back on his feet and no longer locked in. Because it seems like Elizabeth is going to play a role in Drew getting out of that state and you know back to his life. So, obviously he and Willow are already done. They’re just not officially divorced. So yeah, he might end up with Liz. She used to love him.
So, now let’s talk about Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) who’s grieving his dead boyfriend Marco Rios (Adrian Anchando). We have a new guy coming. The character’s name is Joe Fitzpatrick He is going to be on General Hospital in May. And the actor who plays him, Jonathan Bennett, is gay. And there are rumors he may be Lucas’ next love interest to help him heal and move on from Marco.
And last, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) are rumored to be over when he is back. We’ve been hearing chatter for a while that Steve Burton wasn’t happy with the storyline or that Britt was Jason’s love interest. Of course, that’s backstage chatter rumor, not spoiler. Now, we know Burton’s back filming in June. That’s straight from him.
And that means he should be back as Jason middle of summer. I would guess in time for July sweeps. So, supposedly Britt and Jason won’t stick together and he gets a new storyline. So, GH may soon be looking for new love interest for both Britt and Jason. We’ll see what pans out and what doesn’t, but things are getting dicey for a bunch of couples in Port Charles.
