Andy Cohen Dishes on Amanda Batula’s Reunion Walk Off
Bravo recently aired part two of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion. It continued with the cast, including Ciara Miller, confronting Amanda Batula and West Wilson about their now-public affair. During it, Batula walked off, and now Andy Cohen is revealing how long she was absent from the stage.

Cohen took a call from a “Summer House” fan during the June 3 broadcast of his SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy.” During the chat, the person highlighted how entertaining part two of the reunion had been and asked the host how long Batula had been absent from the stage after declaring she needed a break.
The caller noted that it “seemed like a lot of time.” Cohen said, “That’s a good question.” After thinking for a bit, he went on, “At least 15 minutes, but I’m gonna say 20 or more. Yeah.”
Here’s Why Amanda Walked Off The Reunion Stage

Batula was in the hot seat for the majority of the first two parts of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion. During the most recent episode, she could be seen addressing feeling embarrassed about the circumstances surrounding her relationship with Wilson before leaving the stage.
Batula stated, “I felt embarrassed to have to say that I have feelings and have kissed West, and he’s seeing someone else. I felt embarrassed having to say that to Ciara.” After that, “Summer House” newbie Mia Calabrese chimed in, “I mean, yeah, it’s embarrassing.”
This then led Batula to say, tearfully, “I think I need to take a break for a second.” She could then be seen backstage saying she needed to “not be on camera for five minutes.” From there, the cast encouraged Wilson to go after her. Initially, he remained on stage, claiming there might be more he needed to answer to.
However, in the end, he went after Batula. Still, the cast called her out for not taking accountability at the reunion as they had done in prior years.
Fans Are Not On Amanda Batula And West Wilson’s Side

Following Cohen’s commentary about how long Batula was absent from the reunion, “Summer House” fans are weighing in. For the most part, the consensus is that it was weird for Wilson to need to be told to go after Batula. Additionally, many also think the time she needed backstage was a bit excessive.
One person said on X, “Why the F does she get that special treatment? Who else in reunion history has walked off the stage for that long? She did this.” Someone else said, “20 mins doing WHAT? No one has ever done that.”
On TikTok, a different “Summer House” fan noted, “He had not a single desire to go check in on Amanda. That’s wild.” Another social media user stated, “Not Kyle coaching West on how to show up for Amanda.” As fans know, Batula is currently going through a divorce from Kyle Cooke.
Someone else observed, “West not going after Amanda because he doesn’t want anyone to criticize him for leaving as well is really telling. That man wouldn’t put his image second to her feelings. Wild.”
Lastly, a different person highlighted Calabrese’s line delivery, stating, “The tempo in which Mia said ‘I mean yeah it’s embarrassing’ scratched an itch in my brain.”
Andy Cohen Recently Discussed His Process For The Reunion

As Bravo fans know, Cohen hosts all the reunions for the network’s several shows. Recently, in an interview with Vulture, he opened up not only about the “Summer House” season 10 reunion but also about how he prepares for hosting.
He stated about “Summer House”, “Everything will be discussed. Actually, you’re making me think maybe this will be our first three-part ‘Summer House’ reunion. We’ve never had one.”
Cohen continued, “The prep I do is organic. For ‘Summer House,’ I know what the fans are saying. The reunion is going to be about letting everyone speak their peace.”
He then added more detail, explaining, “We do a call with the producers who say, ‘The new thing you don’t know is that so-and-so is getting divorced and they’re mad at whoever.’ Those reunions kind of write themselves.”
‘Summer House’ Will Return For Season 11

Season 10 is perhaps the most talked-about in the history of “Summer House.” Of course, this is partly due to the love triangle among Wilson, Batula, and Miller. According to TV Insider, NBCUniversal announced at its May 2026 upfronts that the series will return for an 11th season.
Currently, it’s unknown who may return, but the cast typically begins filming in July.

Pamela Anderson’s Sexy, R-Rated Action Thriller Is An Unfairly Overlooked 90s Gem
By Robert Scucci
| Updated

Whenever the name Pamela Anderson comes up, general audiences often think about the infamous Tommy Lee tapes or her career with Playboy. Of course, we have to mention Baywatch and the infinitely superior, self-aware action dramedy V.I.P. I find this shameful because Anderson, when fully in her element, knows how to hold her own in action comedies, which we saw most recently when she starred alongside Liam Neeson in the 2025 Naked Gun reboot. Back in 1994, Anderson stole the show in a little action thriller called Raw Justice, which is currently streaming for free on Tubi under the title Good Cop, Bad Cop.
One thing I’ve always admired about Pamela Anderson’s work in this wheelhouse is how effortlessly charismatic she is and how well she plays off her co-stars. She’s self-aware enough to know she’s being cast as the blonde bombshell, but she can throw zingers with the best of them, always with a wink and a nod, as if to say, “I belong here, and I’m going to own it.”

And that’s exactly what you get with Good Cop, Bad Cop. It’s billed as an action thriller, but to me, it plays like a straight-up comedy. The mystery itself is boilerplate, but let’s be real here. When there’s a murder mystery involving a jaded bounty hunter, his primary suspect who maintains his innocence, and a sex worker played by Anderson who just so happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, nobody’s watching for the plot. They’re watching because they want a familiar narrative framework that allows the cast to lean into the genre conventions we all love and chew through the scenery with as much charisma and charm as the audience can handle.
The Mayor’s Daughter Is Dead, Now What?
When Good Cop, Bad Cop first introduces us to Mace (David Keith), we get a crash course on everything we need to know about him. He’s a rough-and-tumble bounty hunter and former cop who apprehends criminals by any means necessary, even if it means borrowing clothes from a sex worker named Sarah (Pamela Anderson) so he can gain access to a motel room where his suspect is laying low. Mace butts heads with Detectives Atkins (Leo Rossi) and Stiles (Charles Napier) whenever they cross paths, especially after he gets hauled into the station dressed like a woman of the night, complete with a black wig, frilly hot-pink top, and black miniskirt.

The real conflict, though, comes in the form of Donna Stiles’ (April Bogenschutz) murder. Donna was Mayor David Stiles’ (Charles Napier) daughter and Mace’s former lover, so this case hits close to home when the mayor pays him a visit asking for help. Broken up by Donna’s death, Mace takes the case, and the mayor instructs him to work closely with Deputy Mayor Bob Jenkins, portrayed by Stacy Keach, to get the job done. But there’s one thing you need to know about Mace in regard to his emotional connection to the murder mystery: he doesn’t take a “woe is me” approach, and he’s not out for revenge. He just wants to get the job done and move on with his life.
The primary suspect in Donna’s murder is her most recent romantic fling, Mitch McCallum (Robert Hays). Mitch gets locked up immediately, but his bail is posted anonymously just as quickly. We soon find out he was released so he could be murdered as well, meaning whoever is actually behind the crime can get away scot-free because the primary suspect has been eliminated.

When Mace tracks down Mitch, who maintains his innocence, the two team up buddy-cop style to find the real mastermind behind Donna’s death. Sarah gets involved in the case by accident when she angrily tracks Mace down to get her clothes back, and before you know it, we have a dream team of de facto sleuths who communicate almost entirely through one-liners and sexual innuendos. There may even be a love triangle forming, but despite that, they remain focused on the case.
Chewing Scenery For Sport
The dynamic between every principal character in Good Cop, Bad Cop is nothing short of fantastic because everybody here knows the assignment. We have a simple murder mystery, which would be boring on its own, but everything is elevated by the fact that this movie knows exactly what it is. The vibe lands somewhere between a trashy pulp mystery and an airboat-riding action thriller, with plenty of practical explosions thrown in for good measure.

While Anderson absolutely kills it in this role thanks to her willingness to go all in on the comic relief, the high-speed car chase immediately comes to mind, David Keith’s magnetic portrayal of Mace cannot be overstated. He’s cynical to a fault, but he knows a good lead when he sees one. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, but he’s going to pound a few road sodas first to get into the proper headspace. He looks world-weary, but he also knows he has a job to do, hangovers be damned.
Add Stacy Keach’s ever-menacing presence as a man who always seems to know more than he’s letting on, rival bail bondsmen with ties to Mitch’s botched murder attempt, and a handful of colorful side characters to the mix, and you have a mystery thriller with zero fat on it but more than enough going on to keep you interested; there are enough context clues to keep you in the know without the movie beating you over the head with them. You can just sit back, enjoy the action, and watch these characters interact with one another because that’s the real selling point here.

Going into Good Cop, Bad Cop knowing it’s going to have the standard “good guy wins, bad guy loses” kind of arc, there’s nothing you need to do other than sit back and enjoy the show. That’s really all there is to it, and I cannot stress enough how fun this movie is if you watch it without any pretension.

As of this writing, you can stream Good Cop, Bad Cop for free on Tubi.

R-Rated 80s Action Thriller Shoots First, Asks Questions Later, And Operates Outside Of The Law
By Robert Scucci
| Updated

I’m on a trashy action thriller kick this week, and I’m having a blast unpacking movies like 1989’s Terminal Force, directed by the infamous Fred Olen Ray and starring Richard Harrison. It’s your typical story about a trigger-happy detective who immediately gets suspended for acting like a psycho, but just so happens to be the right guy to solve a high-profile kidnapping case because he’s the only person willing to operate outside the law to get the job done.
Movies like Terminal Force don’t exist to be thought-provoking. They exist to be endlessly entertaining through the use of completely unhinged side characters and comically evil villains who are just as insane as the protagonist. It’s good, schlocky, violent, low-budget fun that any action fan can get behind when they don’t want to take anything too seriously, but still need a complete story with a neat resolution to feel satisfied.
A Man Without A Badge

Detective Nick Tyree immediately gets into trouble in Terminal Force when he stops at a liquor store right before a thug comes in to rob the place. After apprehending the criminal, he takes things one step too far and straight-up shoots him to death before backup arrives. Rightfully incensed, Captain Pepper (James R. Sweeney) suspends him from the force, and that’s the last we’ll ever hear from Nick… right?
Wrong!
Nick’s very particular set of skills (read: getting drunk and shooting people indiscriminately) are called upon when Christin Gale (Angela Porcell) is kidnapped by mob boss Johnny Ventura (John Henry Richardson) and used as leverage against her father, Harry Gale (Jimmy Williams), a key witness in a case against the crime lord.

Itching to get his badge back and fully aware that he’ll be used as a fall guy if the mission goes terribly wrong, Nick has his back against the wall, but says “screw it” and gets to work. He recruits help from a nightclub dancer named Delilah (Dawn Wildsmith), and the chase is on. Through sheer grit, determination, old-fashioned police intuition, and a seemingly endless bottle of Stoli, our hero pounds the pavement (and lots of booze), but not without obstacles, like Johnny Ventura’s gothic henchman, Leonard (Cleve Hall), who seems just a little too eager to torture his subjects, yet always disappointed when he pulls the knife out, only to be summoned for some mindless busywork.
Nick Tyree Is A Total Chad
The reason movies like Terminal Force work so well is because of their characterization. It doesn’t matter how comically evil or downright stupid the antagonists are because Nick Tyree plays everything completely straight and gets right to business. His deadpan delivery is the perfect foil to his more animated counterparts, and it works so well because he simply cannot be bothered with anything other than his primary objective: reuniting Christin with her father and getting his job back.

He’s also reliably badass in a way that seems counterintuitive. He chugs Stoli straight from the bottle, while driving, is way too trigger-happy, and doesn’t really think his plans through before acting on them, which is exactly why he was suspended from the force in the first place. But if I’m being 100 percent honest here, if I were in Christin’s position, I’d trust the man with my life. Hell, if he runs out of bullets, he probably has enough liquor on him at any given moment to whip up a quick Molotov cocktail.
Terminal Force shamelessly leans into the idea of a bad cop taking an opportunity to win back his captain’s good graces. He’s very much going through the motions, and he’s clearly not going to learn any lessons when all is said and done. If he succeeds, he’s back on the force as if nothing happened. If he fails, it means he went out in a blaze of glory on an unsanctioned mission that was bigger than himself. It’s inherently fun to watch, and since he’s technically doing the right thing within the movie’s fiction, you’ll have no trouble rooting for him.

As of this writing, you can stream Terminal Force for free on Tubi.

3 More Classic Franchises That Could Return If Voltron And Masters of the Universe Succeed : Coastal House Media
With Amazon MGM betting big on both Voltron and Masters of the Universe, the success of these long-dormant franchises could open the door for even more beloved properties from the 1980s and beyond to make the jump back to live action.
If audiences embrace Henry Cavill’s Voltron and Nicholas Galitzine’s turn as He-Man, Hollywood may finally have proof that there is still demand for large-scale adaptations of classic animated franchises.
Here are three projects that could benefit the most.
ThunderCats
Of all the dormant franchises waiting in the wings, ThunderCats may be the closest to becoming a reality.
Director Adam Wingard, known for Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, remains attached to the project and has repeatedly reassured fans that development is still ongoing. Wingard previously revealed that he and collaborator Simon Barrett were actively working on the screenplay, stating:
“Simon and I are still actively working on the script.”
Wingard has also made it clear that he wants to stay true to the iconic designs fans remember from the original animated series. In an earlier interview, he explained:
“I don’t want to reinvent the way they look.”
With its rich mythology, fantasy setting, and memorable characters like Lion-O, Mumm-Ra, and Panthro, ThunderCatsfeels like a natural next step if audiences prove they are hungry for large-scale fantasy adventures again.
ThunderCats
Akira
Few projects have spent more time in development hell than a live-action adaptation of Akira.
The legendary cyberpunk manga and anime has been the subject of Hollywood interest for more than two decades. Most recently, Taika Waititi was attached to direct a live-action version, but the project never moved forward. In 2025, Warner Bros. allowed the rights to lapse, returning them to publisher Kodansha and effectively resetting the project.
The good news for fans is that the story may finally have a new path forward. Reports indicate that multiple producers and studios have expressed interest in acquiring the rights and developing a fresh adaptation.
Set in the futuristic city of Neo-Tokyo, Akira follows biker gang leader Kaneda and his friend Tetsuo after a mysterious government experiment unlocks devastating psychic abilities. The original film remains one of the most influential science fiction stories ever created and could become a major event film if the right creative team finally cracks the code.
Akira
She-Ra
While He-Man is preparing for his big-screen return, his twin sister may not be far behind.
Amazon MGM is actively developing a live-action She-Ra series and recently brought acclaimed writer Heidi Schreckaboard to write the project.
Interest in the character has only grown following the success of Netflix’s animated She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and the timing could be perfect if Masters of the Universe connects with audiences.
In fact, Masters of the Universe director Travis Knight recently hinted that She-Ra could become a major part of the franchise’s future, saying she would play:
“a huge part” in potential sequels.
For those unfamiliar with the mythology, She-Ra, also known as Princess Adora, is the long-lost twin sister of Prince Adam. Her adventures on the world of Etheria have often been just as beloved as He-Man’s battles on Eternia.
She-Ra
The Bottom Line
Hollywood has spent years trying to revive classic animated franchises, but many projects have struggled to get beyond the development stage. If Voltron and Masters of the Universe prove successful, that could finally change.
Whether it’s Adam Wingard’s long-awaited ThunderCats, a fresh take on Akira, or Amazon’s developing She-Ra series, the next wave of nostalgic franchise adaptations may already be waiting in the shadows.

Jennifer Lopez Reveals Her Twins’ 5-College Acceptance Record
Jennifer Lopez is so proud of the giant strides her teenage twins Emme and Max are making in life, as she revealed they got into all five colleges they applied for with scholarships.
The singer previously revealed that she has been moved to tears as they prepare to leave her with an empty nest to pursue their freshman college year.
Emme appears to have debuted a new name as well as their preferred college destination in a compilation of graduating seniors from L.A.’s Windward School, where they graduated.

Jennifer Lopez may be an international pop star, acclaimed actress, and seasoned entrepreneur, but one title she remains mostly proud of is mom to her twins Emme and Max, whom she shares with Marc Anthony.
In a recent chat with Extra, the “Maid In Manhattan” star was ecstatic as she revealed that both of her children were accepted into every single one of the five universities they applied to.
They didn’t stop there, as every acceptance came with merit-based scholarship offers, making the singer beam with pride.
“I am so proud that they set goals for themselves,” she said, per People Magazine. “They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. They both got a scholarship to each, you know, one scholarship to each. Each one got a scholarship to a school. And I just felt like they work so hard.”
The Twins Achieved The Feat Despite Battling ADHD
What seemingly touched Lopez the most is how much work they put into achieving the record despite battling ADHD and constantly being in the public eye due to their mom’s superstar status.
“I watched how hard they worked, from the time they were like… when school gets serious in the fifth grade, and they just worked hard,” she continued. “They have ADHD, and so they need to learn differently, and there were struggles and times, and I’m just so proud of them because they did what they said they were going to do, and they’re good people.”
The “Office Romance” star went further to gush over the 18-year-olds, saying they’re “loving, good-hearted people.”
“And they always said that. I always say to them, ‘What do I say?’ And they say, ‘Doesn’t matter if we get good grades so long as we’re good people.’ And I was like, ‘That’s right.’ And they still sometimes will quote that back to me. So I’m very proud of both of them,” she added.
Jennifer Lopez Reveals How She’s Been Help Them Prepare For College

As the twins prepare to head off to college, Lopez opened up about the supportive role she has been playing during a May 27 appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!“
She told host Jimmy Kimmel that she’ll “absolutely” be a major presence in their transition to dorm life and has been helping them arrange their stuff.
“I do all the things,” she said. “We have sheets at the house. We’re gonna pack up their rooms here, and they’re going to take all the things that they want to take to their dorms.”
However, she stated her desire for them not to stay away for too long and wished they could come home almost immediately after they hit campus.
“Then, they’re gonna get there and realize their dorms are too small,” she stated. “They’re going to miss home, I hope and want to come back real soon. That’s my plan.”
Emme Could Be Going To New York

While she’ll have to learn to make do with an empty nest, Lopez is excited for her children’s new chapter as she reminisces about being their age and also experiencing their new reality.
“I remember being that age and thinking I couldn’t wait to get out in the world and do my thing,” she explained. “I really wanted that. All year, people are asking me, ‘Oh, they’re going away to college, it’s going to be terrible.’ No, it’s going to be great. I want them to go out there and do what they want to do. They have dreams. They have things they want to do. It’s going to be great.”
Meanwhile, Lopez’s child, born Emme Muñiz, seems to have debuted a new name as well as revealed their preferred college choice.
According to Page Six, a now-deleted Instagram post from an account dedicated to compiling college decisions of graduating seniors from L.A.’s Windward School, where Emme graduated from, identified a student as “Oskar Muñiz.”
More About Jennifer Lopez’s Teen Child’s New Identity

The post, which drew attention to Emme’s new identity, also featured childhood photos of the teenager, a logo for Sarah Lawrence College, and the teenager’s plans to study theater and studio arts there.
“Oskar to Sarah Lawrence!” Windward26College captioned the post about Emme. “No more impromptu NYC trips because he’ll be living there! Good thing it’s only a few hours away from Stagedoor. Go gryphons!! Congrats!!!”
As reported by The Blast, an account that seems to belong to Lopez’s child was tagged in the caption, with the post about their college receiving a “Like” reaction from Jennifer Garner, who was once married to their former stepdad, Ben Affleck.

Gypsy Rose Jokes About “Playing Crazy”
The circulating video of Gypsy Rose Blanchard shows her sitting in a bed, delivering an eight-second voiceover. Her caption on the clip reads, “POV: Story of my life.” She’s seen looking into the camera and making hand gestures to match the audio’s energy.
“And everybody wanna play crazy until I wanna play crazy. Soon as I’m ready to play crazy, don’t nobody want to play crazy anymore,” the voiceover says.
This Is Why Gypsy’s Comment Section Is In Shambles
For context, Gypsy accepted a plea deal in 2016 for second-degree murder and got a 10-year sentence. Throughout her childhood, Rose’s mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, falsely claimed that she suffered from multiple diseases, including cancer and developmental disabilities. Dee Dee forced her daughter to use a wheelchair, lie about her age and take unneeded medications and undergo procedures. In 2015, Gypsy and her internet boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, planned to kill Dee Dee. He later stabbed her with Gypsy present in the home and they both fled, but police later arrested them. Rose was granted parole on December 28, 2023, after serving about 8.5 years of her sentence. Since then, she’s given interviews about her life, including publishing, divorced from Ryan Anderson and married Ken Urker. She and Urker welcomed a daughter name Aurora in late 2024. As of June 2025, her parole has ended, marking the completion of her sentence.

Who Was Nick Pasqual on HIMYM? What to Know About the Actor
Nick Pasqual had a small role on How I Met Your Mother before he made headlines for being convicted of attempted murder.
Pasqual was accused of stabbing ex-girlfriend Allie Shehorn multiple times in her home back in May 2024. During the actor’s trial, Shehorn took the stand and claimed that she had broken up with him after their relationship allegedly turned abusive. The makeup artist also claimed that she took out a restraining order against Pasqual prior to the attack.
In May 2026, a jury found Pasqual guilty of attempted murder, first-degree burglary, forcible rape and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or a child’s parent. He was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison. Pasqual told Entertainment Weekly in June 2026 that he planned on filing an appeal.
“I remain deeply saddened by everything surrounding this case, and I continue to wish healing and peace for everyone affected,” Pasqual told the outlet. “I am grateful to those who have supported me during this process, and I intend to remain focused on sobriety, recovery, accountability, and a respectful appellate process moving forward.”
Keep scrolling for everything to know about Pascal:
Nick Pasqual Was on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 7
Before his legal woes, Pasqual was best known for his role on How I Met Your Mother. The actor appeared in one episode during season 7, which aired in 2011. Pasqual played the character Will, a student of Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor), in the episode titled “Field Trip.”
Nick Pasqual Had Additional Acting Roles
In addition to How I Met Your Mother, Pasqual acted in various other projects. His first ever role was in the 2007 short Remember the Days. He made his film debut in the 2009 thriller Homecoming, which starred Mischa Barton, Matt Long and Jessica Stroup.
Pasqual had a starring role in the 2010 series A Demon’s Destiny: The Lone Warrior. His credits also include 1000 Ways to Die, Jobs, Gone, America’s Most Wanted and more. His last role was in the 2023 film Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire.
Nick Pasqual Previously Worked at Universal Studios
According to his LinkedIn page, Pasqual worked as a scare actor during Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights from 2008 to 2013.
Nick Pasqual Is Serving Life in Prison for Attempted Murder
After being convicted of the attempted murder of Shehorn, Pasqual was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison. Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman addressed Pasqual’s sentencing in a statement to Us Weekly in May 2026.
“Nick Pasqual’s 32 years to life in prison sentence holds him accountable for the horrific crimes he committed against someone who once loved and trusted him. He was found guilty of multiple felonies, including attempted murder and rape, spanning from January 2024 to May 23, 2024, when Mr. Pasqual broke into his estranged girlfriend’s home and stabbed her over 20 times,” he said. “Allie Shehorn miraculously survived and courageously stood before her abuser in court to testify about the brutality she endured. Her trial testimony was crucial in securing a guilty verdict so Mr. Pasqual could no longer be free to hurt anyone else.”
Hochman continued, “At his sentencing on June 2, she gave a powerful victim impact statement. This case underscores the painful reality that domestic violence thrives when its victims live in fear and stay silent. It can erupt into life-threatening violence, and far too many victims never get the chance to see their abusers brought to justice. I want to recognize and thank Deputy District Attorneys Sam Abourched and Chelsea Blatt for their exceptional diligence, hard work and dedication to justice. Because of prosecutors like them, survivors are heard and accountability is more than a promise, it’s a reality.”

The actress is now adding producer to her growing résumé as her newly launched production company, Honey Trap, lands its first major feature project, and the plans are unfolding.
Sydney Sweeney’s latest business venture comes amid the uproar that trailed her controversial performance on the third season of “Euphoria,” where she explored marriage, online content creation, and many more.

The actress has been signed up to star in and produce a forthcoming adaptation of filmmaker and author Lindsey Anderson Beer’s debut novel, “Hollow.” Beer will also direct and adapt the screenplay for the movie.
The project is a groundbreaking step for Honey Trap since launching their business recently. LuckyChap Entertainment and Beer’s Lab Brew will also be on the production.
The novel is a competitive acquisition by Penguin Random House under the Putnam imprint. It is a reimagining of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” through the perspective of Katrina Van Tassel.
Katrina is no mere background character, but the focus of a suspenseful narrative that blends gothic elements with a touch of romance and psychological thriller.
The book is now on the fast track and is currently scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2027 in concert with the film’s production schedule, with the adaptation slated to star Sweeney as Katrina.
As stated by Deadline, as the project evolved, industry interest is said to have quickly risen for both the novel and film package, with studios racing to sign on their involvement as the project began to take shape.
More Details About The ‘Euphoria’ Star’s New Company

The actress recently revealed the establishment of her production firm, Honey Trap, on Instagram, announcing the news alongside a screenshot of a Deadline report of the first-look deal with Sony Pictures.
As stated by The Blast, Sweeney also gave followers a closer look at the company’s vision by posting part of its mission statement.
Honey Trap described its goal as creating stories built around contrasts, exploring themes of beauty and danger, power and vulnerability, while delivering projects that challenge audiences and leave a lasting emotional impact.
The company also reaffirmed its dedication to bold creativity, complex characters, and film storytelling in film and television. Sweeney’s new company was founded alongside her longtime creative collaborator, Kaylee McGregor, who serves as president of production and development.
The company is already on the fast track and working on a couple of projects in partnership with Sony, such as the upcoming remake of “Barbarella”, based on a French comic series written by Jean-Claude Forest.
Sweeney is also a producer on “The Registration,” an adaptation of a novel written by Madison Lawson. In addition to developing her producing career, Sweeney remains active in front of the camera as well and is currently filming in “Gundam” in Australia with director Jim Mickle for Netflix and Legendary Entertainment.
Sydney Sweeney Did Not Hold Back On Her ‘Euphoria’ Character

The Blast previously noted that “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson straightens up the record on Sweeney’s controversial final-season storyline, and gives credit where credit is due.
The show also followed Sweeney’s character, Cassie, as she uses OnlyFans to fund her lavish lifestyle and dreams of a future with OnlyFans star Jacob Elordi (as Nate Jacobs) throughout the season.
The narrative was subject to online criticism due to some fans’ doubts about whether the actress had been pushed too much with the more revealing scenes. However, in a recent appearance on The New York Times’ Popcast podcast, Levinson challenged that notion.
He disclosed that while developing the storyline, he had thought about shooting the scenes with as little nudity as possible or without any nudity at all. However, Sweeney kicked against that proposition, informing Levinson that if he avoided them, it would not make sense for the character to exist in that reality.
He pointed out that if Cassie is playing a character who is making a career on OnlyFans, the show should go 100% into that fashion and not tone it down. The comments follow Sweeney’s earlier remarks on backlash against the season and her own defense of her work on social media after the season ended.
Sweeney And Sam Levinson Have A Lot Of Trust For Each Other

Levinson and Sweeney have built a formidable relationship over the years since she debuted on “Euphoria” years ago. He has not failed to defend her choices and approach to storyline during the course of production, stressing that Sweeney was willing to commit to challenging material fully.
The filmmaker continued that he takes great pride in working closely with actors and getting to know their headspace before shooting, and in Sweeney’s case, she came to the job with confidence bursting through.
He added that the model was not afraid to look into difficult or unconventional creative ideas, in addition to her risk-taking appetite. Shining a light on Sweeney’s versatility, Levinson added that their bond from 2019 allowed them to explore different directions, whether comedic, intense, or emotional.
As regards the OnlyFans bit of the story, Levinson revealed that the grand purpose of “Euphoria” was to explore some of the strange parts of online culture, and some scenes were created to emit absurdity and dark humor.
It Has Not Been All Wins For Sydney Sweeney

Despite the endless buzz surrounding the actress’s rise in the industry, she actually suffered a major blow when her scene got cut from the finished version of the iconic movie. According to reports, the sequence, said to run for about three minutes, was removed shortly before the film’s release.
Sources close to production said it was a creative move and reported that they appreciated Sweeney’s involvement in the film despite her scenes being cut.
Later, there were more rumors floating around online about the move, some speculation pointing to renewed interest in the actress’s politics about her allegedly being a registered Republican.
Others who have been close to Sweeney seem to have resisted this line of thinking, with some suggesting that the negative backlash to her public demeanor might have played a role in the interpretation of the decision.
Meanwhile, other reports cited a much more conventional motive: David Frankel’s and the editing team’s dissatisfaction with the fit of the scene into the film’s final form. Some sources have also speculated Sweeney’s rising profile in Hollywood may have been a factor in discussions about the cut.
