After years — if not decades — of rumors and conjecture, there is increased speculation that Taylor Swift could finally play the Super Bowl Halftime Show thanks to some major news announced by the NFL.

The league announced on Tuesday, May 19, that Super Bowl 64, set for 2030, will be held in Nashville’s new Nissan Stadium, which is scheduled for completion in February 2027.

Swift, 36, is a Pennsylvania native, but her career got started in Nashville as a teenager and aspiring country music singer. In a town dubbed “Music City,” which champions its myriad of artists that have come through over the years, it only makes sense that fans would guess that Swift’s long-awaited Super Bowl debut could come at the soon-to-open Nissan Stadium.

While there is no direct evidence that Swift will perform on American sports’ biggest stage in 2030 — or any time before that — the idea seems to suit her particularly well as someone who constantly gives nods to her loved ones and favorite things through easter eggs in her songs, interviews and social media posts.

“The idea of the global superstar returning to the city where her career began for one of the biggest entertainment spectacles on Earth feels almost too perfect,” The Tennessean’s Bryan West wrote on Tuesday.

Swift has addressed possibly headlining the Super Bowl halftime show in the past, including last October when she had to shut down rumors that she turned down the gig for February 2026’s Super Bowl LX.

“Here’s the thing. Jay-Z has always been very good to me. Our teams are really close,” she explained in an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. (Jay-Z’s Roc Nation produces the halftime show.)

She continued, “They sometimes will call and say, ‘How does she feel about [mumbles]?’ And that’s not, like, an official offer or a conference room conversation. Our teams are really close. ‘How does she feel about it in general?’ And we’re always able to tell him the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.”

Swift also joked that it didn’t make as much sense to perform at halftime while her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is still active.

“Can you imagine if, like, he’s out there every single week putting his life on the line doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be,’” she joked“‘I think we should do two verses of ‘Shake It Off’ into ‘Blank Space’ into ‘Cruel Summer.’”

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has also weighed in on the possibility, calling Swift “a special, special talent.”

“Obviously she would be welcome at any time” Goodell, 67, said during a September 2025 appearance on Today.

“I can’t tell you anything about that,” he said, when asked if the league was planning something with her. “It’s a maybe.”

When asked about potential halftime show performers on Tuesday, Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp CEO Deana Ivey said she “might get in trouble if I start naming people.”

“We are a city full of entertainers in all kinds of music,” Ivey added. “Not just country music, even though that’s what we’re known for. So I would hope to have a good, diverse lineup for the halftime show. And all Nashville locals.”

Nick Lachey recently opened up about his encounter with his ex Jessica Simpson while on a plane. However, what got many talking was his statement that she was in first class while her three children were in coach. Now, the “Sweetest Sin” singer is revealing the difference in travel between her and her kids.

According to Page Six, the paparazzi spoke to Simpson at LAX on May 20. When asked about her children flying in a different part of the plane, the singer confirmed that it was, in fact, true. However, regarding the reasoning, she stated that she wasn’t the person who purchased the plane tickets.

She revealed, “My mom bought those tickets.” Simpson then added context, stating, “It was my mom’s treat for us to go to Hawaii.” After that, the interviewer asked the mom of three if they would have all flown in the same class had she purchased the tickets.

The former MTV star replied, “Of course!” Regarding her kids, she shares three with ex-husband Eric Johnson. Their ages are 7, 12, and 14.

Lachey appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” in May 2026. While on, host Andy Cohen mentioned the rumors that he and Simpson had bumped into each other while traveling. The “Love Is Blind” host confirmed that this was the case.

General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, May 20th:

On Wednesday, May 20th, it is the final episode of May Sweeps. So we’ve got some good stuff happening. Britt makes a critical decision. Of course, Rocco ran to Britt. He’s worried sick about Charlotte and Danny heading out to Spoon Island. And Britt tells Rocco that she knows how to make things better for everybody. So, I feel like Britt’s going to try and intervene somehow to help the kids.

Talking with her mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), we’re going to see Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) saying that she’s got to find a way to do that on her own. So, something she’s taken care of from this whole mess she’s created. I think that Willow’s trying to buy some time to sort this mess out so Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) doesn’t lose it on her. And Nina is in for a shock on Wednesday. She’s up at Willow’s congressional office and it looks like she gives Nina a syringe and she wants her to go inject Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) at General Hospital to keep him locked in, at least for now.

GH Spoilers: Ethan Steps Up for Lulu

Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) makes Lulu a promise. She’s telling Ethan that she and Rocco may have to leave town and stay gone. And it looks like Ethan might help Lulu get fake IDs in her and Rocco’s name. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine‘s (James Patrick Stuart) disagreement from Tuesday continues. So, looks like Carly really doesn’t want Valentin to go to France to break Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) out. And Carly tells Valentin she’s trying to stop him from making the biggest mistake. So, Carly may be certain that Valentin will get caught if he goes to France to try and help Anna escape, but I wonder if Valentin will listen to her.

Cullum tells Danny, “Move now.” Looks like he wants to take them to a secondary location. You never go voluntarily to the secondary location. We all watch Dateline, right? So it looks like Cullum is trying to take Charlotte and Danny captive. And I wonder if he plans to stash them downstairs near where Josslyn is being held. Of course, he doesn’t know she’s down there. Cullum is convinced Danny shot him. So, this could be really bad. Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) tells Alexis she’d like to know what she knows. So, I wonder if Rocco tattled about Danny and Charlotte going to Wyndemere to one of them.

Of course, they may be talking about the Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) incident and Alexis may be representing Curtis on these possible assault charges. Alexis also asks Ava Jerome (Maura West) for some help. So, this may be about Danny and Charlotte sneaking into Wyndemere because this week Sidwell and Ava are taken aback when they walk in the door at Wyndemere and they may come across Cullum taking Danny and Charlotte captive.

Thursday, May 21st on General Hospital

On Thursday, May 21st, Alexis wants answers. Could be from Danny about sneaking into Wyndemere or it could be from Curtis. Britt has a brand new reason to worry. She may now feel like she’s also got to protect Charlotte and Danny as well. I wonder if Britt will circle back around to Lulu with a warning.

Speaking of, Lulu prepares to make a big move if necessary. She’s got bags packed and fake passports for her and Rocco. Maybe Charlotte, but I know at least for them, two. And then Lulu says she may have to run, but Dante tells Lulu that she will make their son a fugitive over his dead body. Meanwhile, Rocco is completely stunned to see a fake passport in another name.

Ethan drops in on Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott). Now, we know Ethan’s got some sort of secret agenda, but also he knows Tracy loves Lulu. Might be about her, or Ethan’s visit could involve baby Phoebe because actor Nathan Dean says Ethan is looking for any excuse to go spend time with Delilah’s daughter.

Dante wants a word with not-Nathan. And I wonder if Dante is going to reveal he destroyed the evidence against Rocco. Dante may chew out Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) for putting the idea in Lulu’s head that she should take Rocco and run. Cassius is probably in the dark about this because Lulu told him to kick rocks and basically dumped him on General Hospital.

General Hospital Spoilers Friday, May 22nd: Britt Makes a Move

Friday, May 22nd. Willow shares some good news with somebody. And Britt is spilling new information to somebody. So she may tell Sidwell that Cullum murdered Marco and stole his phone and that’s how he knew to find her and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on the docks.

If she does this, of course, you know, this is bad because Britt would lose access to her meds. However, Britt and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) assume that Sidwell would kill Cullum, which should save Rocco because no one’s going to be looking for the shooter if Cullum just up and evaporates. Cassius is begging somebody on Friday. He may be asking Lulu to take him back.

You know, Dante may have told him Lulu is planning to run. Cassius may beg her to stay and tell her that things have changed and Rocco’s safe. Plus, Laura’s reaction stuns Lulu. So, if Lulu goes to Laura and tells her she may be running off with Rocco, you know, Laura may agree, especially if Lulu tells her mom the whole truth about what Rocco did this week.

Josslyn says she got herself into this room and she’s going to get herself out, and she bashes Cassius with a chair when he enters the bedroom area of the room she’s in. I’m sure Joss is going to make a run for it. Question is, how far does she get?

Week of May 25th-29th on General Hospital

The week of May 25th through the 29th, we’ve got Lulu going to great lengths to protect Rocco, and Britt is doing the same thing. Now, Lulu and Britt don’t like each other at all, but they do have the same end goal in mind where Rocco is concerned. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is going to find out more about the prognosis for his badly injured hand. I suspect that Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) is going to have no choice but to press charges on Curtis or look corrupt or biased since her friendship with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is widely known.

New cop Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) is going to say something if she tries to drop this. I mean, Curtis was clearly in the wrong despite what Isaiah said to him, and Curtis might have just destroyed the hand of a renowned transplant surgeon. Plus, there’s zero evidence against Isaiah in the car crash that Jordan caused. Curtis should be arraigned soon. We’ll see how that goes. And thanks to Curtis, we know Isaiah’s facing multiple surgeries.

General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Has Her Hands Full

Alexis may be in over her head with Danny. He and Charlotte put themselves in serious danger and Alexis is going to be furious that Danny is being very cavalier with his life. Dante may thwart Lulu’s plans to run. And I wonder if Rocco agrees. Maybe it is best if they go because then he won’t have to keep facing Danny and feeling constantly guilty.

Brooklyn may talk again about turning herself in when she hears about what happened to Isaiah. Of course, when it finally comes out that it was likely her and not Isaiah, of course, Curtis is going to owe Isaiah one heck of an apology, but I doubt Curtis’s ego would let that happen. Willow scrambles to cover her butt. And when Nina tries to give the shot to Jack this week, it looks like he is kind of waking up. So, this is about to get really problematic and we should get a glimpse of Anna soon.

On Instagram, the father of one opened up about what the last several months of his life have looked like since admitting himself into a recovery facility. While part of his journey was showcased on Bravo’s “The Valley,” Taylor is giving fans a glimpse into his life since departing the show in 2025.

On Instagram, Taylor shared a carousel of images of himself at a 5K run for a program called “Recovery Through Repetition.”

He captioned the post, “Late last summer, I checked myself back into treatment for 90 days to focus on my recovery and mental health.”

Taylor went on to say that he returned to the program in May 2026 as an alumnus in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.

In March 2025, Taylor admitted to being “an addict” while discussing his decades-long cocaine use on Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast.

“I have substance issues—primarily with cocaine. It’s hard to say out loud,” he said before revealing he’s been using “since I was 23 and now I’m 45.”

Taylor explained that he had an up-and-down relationship with the substance, saying there were many times “where I’d go heavy on it.”

“I’ve never said this in my life,” he said. “So, to come out and say that I have an addiction [and] that I have a sickness that I have to work on the rest of my life is a really big deal for me.”

According to a previous report from The Blast, Taylor opened up about one of the primary reasons he used drugs.

“I will say drugs and alcohol are not the problem,” he said. “The problem was I just didn’t address my mental health at all and used drugs and alcohol [to] mask it.”

Taylor said that using drugs allowed him a way to find an escape from the pressures of his everyday life and issues, such as his divorce from his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.

“It’s just so overwhelming, so drinking and substances just helped,” he said.

Other Reality Stars Post In Support Of Mental Health Awareness Month

Taylor isn’t the only public figure using his platform to shine a light on Mental Health Awareness month.

“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul shared an AI-generated picture of herself on her Instagram account on May 6.

The photo showed a flawed Paul looking into the mirror, only to see a put-together version of herself.

“It’s mental health awareness month. I’ve had to be humbled to learn some experiences need to be lived through to understand. Which category should we start with?” she captioned the post.

While the post received a bit of backlash, one of her co-stars, Jessi Draper, offered her support, commenting, “This 100%.”

A ‘Jersey Shore’ OG Shared His Thoughts On Mental Health Awareness Month

“Jersey Shore” OG Ronnie Ortiz-Magro also posted about Mental Health Awareness Month in May after his behavior during an interview sparked concern.

In his Instagram post, Ortiz-Magro revealed that he was battling “high-functioning depression,” adding that most days feel like he’s “trapped” but “forced to keep moving.”

He shared another post that highlighted facts about mental health, like the fact that one in four people will suffer from a form of mental Illness in any given year.

“Break the silence,” the words on the photo read. “Not all pain is physical, and not all wounds are visible.”

In a few weeks, fans of the iconic Beavis and Butt-Head will have the best treat ever, thanks to Netflix. Originally broadcast on MTV from March 8, 1993, to November 28, 1997, the slapstick hit has been rebooted twice: first in 2011 on its home network from October 27 to December 29, 2011, and again for Paramount+ from August 4, 2022, to June 29, 2023. Starting September 3, 2025, the second reboot moved to Comedy Central for its eleventh season, with the sitcom now expected to return for Season 12 soon.

Per reports, Netflix US is picking up multiple seasons of Beavis and Butt-Head next month for the very first time, with it expected to be the revival seasons. The number of seasons arriving on the streamer remains unclear as of this publication, as does the possibility that the show will also land in international territories, including the U.K., Canada, or Australia. With that said, Beavis and Butt-Head is currently scheduled to hit Netflix US on June 16, 2026, with the streamer labeling what’s to come as “New volumes.”
