Brooklyn Decker Shares Rare Family Pics for Andy Roddick’s B-Day
Brooklyn Decker is celebrating husband Andy Roddick’s most recent trip around the sun.
“It’s his birthday,” Decker, 39, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 30, in honor of her better half’s special day. “One of our friends says ‘You know whenever you’re with Andy, something amazing will happen and you’re going to leave with a story…’ And it’s true.”
Decker continued, “Andy’s very uncomfortable with gushy, sappy love. Everyone please go text him the mushiest thing you can think of. He’s on ESPN all day so let’s see how many times we can make him cringe on camera. 💃.”
Alongside the birthday message, Decker shared a series of rare family photos giving insight into the power couple’s private life.
In one image, Roddick, 44, posed in front of the Eiffel Tower with the pair’s two children while another clip showed him sleeping while snuggling a cat.
The couple have been together since 2007, nearly one year before Roddick popped the question. Decker and Roddick tied the knot in 2008 and have since welcomed son Hank and daughter Stevie in 2015 and 2017, respectively. In 2022, Decker got candid about how she and Roddick balance their marriage with parenthood.
“It does become hilariously transactional. You’re like, ‘I’ve got the kids, you go buy the tampons, go get the diapers,’” she told Us exclusively at the time. “It’s very [much] like making a game plan for a football game. You’re drawing the X’s and someone is going to tackle this job and the other one’s going to take care of this.”
Decker shared that “efficiency is key” when it comes to taking care of their two children.
“Hopefully, you can find a few laughs along the way,” Decker said, adding that the couple don’t have a “regular working date night” because their “lives are so erratic.”
She continued, “I do think it’s easy to get caught up in the management of life, home, children, all of it. However, we do set aside time. … We prioritize it, but I think we could all do a better job.”
From Decker’s perspective, she and Roddick are in a “good place” with their two children.
“You’re constantly, like, bent over for six months,” Decker told Us of having little ones. “They’re really exploratory, but they’re not sturdy enough to really do that independently. So you’re just basically playing bumper cars with your children. … I have two kids who can, like, get themselves dressed and ask me for what they need. It’d be hard [to have another].”

‘Unemployment Fears’ Anne Hathaway in Tom Cruise Sequel
Anne Hathaway simply doesn’t know how to slow down!
The actress, who won several accolades throughout her career, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award, is set to star in the follow-up film, “Days of Thunder,” alongside Tom Cruise.
Cruise shared the news on Instagram by posting a promotional photo and a video, featuring Hathaway, who is currently pregnant with her third child. The movie will hit theatres in “Summer 2028,” which is around two years from now, which means the actress will be working even shortly after giving birth. Fans reacted to the announcement with many emphasizing Hathaway’s busy work schedule.
“Anne is the enemy of unemployment, first lady of work,” one person wrote, while another commented, “Unemployment fears Anne Hathaway.”
British Fashion Illustrator, designer, and author Hayden Williams, who created a popular pop-culture illustration collection inspired by “The Devil Wears Prada,” jokingly asked the actress, “Anne when do you sleep sis?”
A fourth fan noted, “Anne Hathaway single handedly saving cinemas.”
More Movies For Fans To Anticipate

The “Princess Diaries” star has had a very busy 2026, having worked in four films, including, “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “Mother Mary,” “The Odyssey,” and “The End of Oak Street.” She will also appear on Coleen Hoover’s adaptation of “Verity.”
Recently, Hathaway wrapped production on the Adam Driver military drama “Alone at Dawn,” and is set to return for the third installment of “The Princess Diaries,” per Variety.
Pregnancy Announcement
In June, Hathaway, 43, announced her pregnancy by sharing a video on Instagram. Wearing a white crop top and a long, flowy skirt, the movie star walked into the frame with her arms covering her tummy. Smiling to the camera, she cradled her belly before running out of frame.
“x Baby, I’m yours x,” Hathaway wrote in the caption.
The “Odyssey” star already has two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, with her actor and producer husband Adam Shulman, 45.
Anne Hathaway Won’t Be Sharing Her Baby’s Gender

During an August 10 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, guest host Anthony Anderson guessed that Hathaway and Shulman would be having another boy. The actress neither confirmed nor denied, saying, “We know,” adding, “[But] we’re not saying.”
Hathaway thanked the audience, who cheered on her for not revealing her baby’s gender: “Thank you for the support. It always feels so rude saying that.”
The actress also shared that everyone, including her sons, are so excited for their new addition to the family.
“[They’re] over the moon,” she said. “It feels really beautiful. It feels like the family’s having a baby. I mean, it’ll feel like I’m having a baby while it’s happening, but the emotional feeling is that we’re all going to welcome this little one.”
Being Pregnant At 43

During the premiere of her movie, “The End of Oak Street,” Hathaway opened up about how pregnancy feels different in her 40s compared to her 30s.
“You know, I was in my 30s with my other two, and I’m so different now,” she told PEOPLE. “Something happened when I turned 40.”
Hathaway continued, “I just realized that this isn’t a dress rehearsal. It’s all real. I’m not, like, saving it up for my future self. It’s all happening right now. And so I think I’m just better at being present in the moment, living in gratitude, not taking anything for granted.”
She added, “So I think all of those things are coming together, and it’s a real time to enjoy.”

Howard Stern Makes Stunning Career Pivot
Howard Stern‘s longtime radio empire is taking a very different direction.
SiriusXM is set to remove Howard 101 on September 1, while Howard 100 remains and Stern’s new live programming drops to one show a week. At the same time, a new deal could bring his weekly material to HBO Max.
For Howard Stern, the shake-up looks less like a step back and more like a new way of reaching his audience. With his SiriusXM presence scaling down and his content reportedly heading to streaming, his next chapter could look very different from the one fans have known for decades.

Howard Stern has been at the center of a major SiriusXM shake-up, with Howard 101 set to disappear from the lineup on September 1. The channel, which has traditionally carried archived material, will be replaced by Andy Cohen’s Radio Andy, while Howard 100 will remain.
The change comes as Stern’s presence on the satellite platform is already being scaled back. After years of producing a much larger volume of programming, he is expected to return from his summer break with just one new live show each week, while older material fills the remaining days.
That smaller footprint follows a round of staff cuts that reportedly affected around a dozen employees, signaling just how much the long-running Stern operation has changed behind the scenes.
What Is Stern’s New Career Move?

The SiriusXM changes may look like a setback, but Stern is reportedly moving part of his show into a different media space. According to The Sun, HBO Max has secured a deal to turn material from his weekly live program into a condensed series.
Under the reported arrangement, his three-hour Monday broadcast would be edited into a roughly 60- or 90-minute program for the streaming service later in the week.
Sources said the strict Monday schedule is tied directly to producing that video content for HBO Max, effectively giving Stern another outlet for his work even as his SiriusXM presence becomes more limited.
The move could mark a notable shift for a radio personality whose career has long been built around live audio, especially as his SiriusXM operation undergoes layoffs and major programming changes.
Howard Stern Said His New Deal Lets Him ‘Have It All’

The lighter workload is not something Howard Stern has presented as a setback. Instead, he has framed the change as a way to keep his place on the radio while finally giving himself more freedom away from the microphone.
During a live broadcast, Stern said he had “figured out a way to have it all,” explaining that the new arrangement would allow him to continue broadcasting while giving him more personal time. That is a notable shift for someone whose schedule has traditionally revolved around producing hours of fresh material throughout the week.
Stern also made it clear that having more days off does not mean he plans to spend them doing nothing. “I do like my days off. You know me, I’m never bored. I’m busy every minute,” he told listeners, suggesting that the reduced workload is something he genuinely sees as a benefit rather than a sign that he is ready to disappear.
The New ‘Flexibility’ Came With A Painful Cost

The promise of more flexibility looked very different for the people who suddenly found themselves without a job. Around a dozen staffers were reportedly laid off as the show prepared to cut back to one new episode a week, with the announcement delivered during a Zoom call and employees sent home afterward.
The cuts also brought renewed attention to complaints from former staffers about their experiences working on the long-running show. Some former employees had previously accused the operation of poor pay and abrupt firings, while others described an atmosphere where job security could disappear with little warning.
Those concerns now sit alongside another major change in the show’s future, making the latest downsizing feel bigger than a simple programming adjustment.
The Blast reported that longtime employees were pushed out just as the operation enters a leaner era; the question is whether the new freedom behind the microphone is coming at too high a price behind the scenes.
Howard Stern’s Longtime Staffers Faced A Messy Exit

The shake-up did not end when the layoffs were announced. Several former staffers reportedly pushed back on the initial severance packages offered by SiriusXM, with some seeking better terms before officially closing the door on their time with the show.
The negotiations were reportedly about more than just the money. The first offers allegedly included nondisclosure agreements that would restrict what former employees could say publicly after leaving.
At the same time, some insiders suggested staffers had already seen the warning signs and knew cuts were coming. One longtime employee, Rahsaan Rogers, spent 16 years with the operation before confirming his departure and describing it as the start of a “new chapter.”
Another former staffer, Jon Blitt, took a lighter approach, joking in a video that he had landed a job at Old Navy after the layoffs. As reported by The Blast, the departures have added another unexpected chapter to the transformation of the show.
With the staff shrinking, the schedule changing, and the SiriusXM setup looking very different, what does the next chapter hold for Howard Stern?

‘The Walking Dead’s Emily Kinney Speaks Out About Finally Returning as Beth in ‘Dead City’ Season 3
Editor’s note: The following contains major spoilers for The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3, Episode 6.
Summary
When Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) unexpectedly died in Season 5 of The Walking Dead, it seemed likely that would be the last time she’d appear in the franchise. That is, until Episode 306 of The Walking Dead: Dead City, when showrunner Seth Hoffman created an alternate reality that brought Beth back into Maggie’s (Lauren Cohan) life. From sharing a hot chocolate on a chilly stroll in Central Park in New York City to singing in a bar for a crowd, it was nice to see a Beth that was happy about her life and hopeful for the future. She’s even left in a place of possibilities of what could come next.
Collider recently got the opportunity to chat with Kinney about why she loved the idea of returning to the character and what made the experience so memorable. During the interview, she discussed how cool it was to see who Beth might have been as an adult in a world without Walkers, why it was easy to slip into the character again, what made her so emotional when she read the script, the ease of working with Cohan, getting to perform one of her own original songs in the episode, and that she hopes the Beth fans will have a better sense of satisfaction with where things are left.
Emily Kinney Had a Great Time Revisiting Her ‘The Walking Dead’ Character in ‘Dead City’ Season 3
“It was cool to get to explore that. I loved it.”
COLLIDER: What was your reaction to learning about this episode and what they wanted you to come do for this? Was it an immediate yes, or did you need some clarification as to what this would be?
EMILY KINNEY: When I got the offer, I think it was first, “Are you interested? If so, we’ll send you the script.” And so, I did get to read the script pretty quickly, before officially deciding, and I loved it. It’s been so much time since I’ve gotten to revisit Beth. I thought it was really, really fun, the idea of getting to work with Lauren [Cohan] again. I’ve seen her throughout the years at conventions and things like that, but I love getting to spend time with her and work with her. So, it was a little bit of an immediate yes. I was like, “Yes, of course, I want to come say hello to everyone again.” They’re people I care about. But then, I also thought it was just a really smart way to see Beth again. Rather than it just being a dream, it was like, “In this alternate reality, she hasn’t died, so who would she be now, in her 30s?” As opposed to me trying to play a teenager, I could play her as an adult and what kind of person she would have turned into. It was the questions that I had, as the actor and when I was playing Beth of, “What kind of adult will she turn into?” It was cool to get to explore that. I loved it.
What was it like to actually walk onto the set as this character? Did it feel like you had to find her again, especially because this is the happy version of her in this alternate reality? Were there pieces of her that you still drew from?
KINNEY: I felt like a lot of it was still there pretty automatically, which is crazy because it has been so many years since I played her. It’s the longest I’ve ever played a role. I was on the show for maybe four or five years, so it did become a big part of me. Honestly, I felt like it was easy to tap into who she would be as an adult. We had done so much work so many years ago, about things like her styling, so going, “Okay, if there wasn’t a zombie apocalypse, what would she be wearing?,” came pretty naturally. We did, so many years ago, set up a certain style that she had, with her braids and the necklaces she would wear and all her bracelets. Tapping into that seemed pretty obvious. She loved music, and now she’s doing music in New York City. It all made sense to me. It wasn’t a struggle to figure out who she was.
It’s funny because we sometimes sit around and wonder what it might be like to find yourself in a zombie apocalypse, but that’s the only way you know this character, and you had to think about what she was like in normal life.
KINNEY: Yeah, that’s a good point.
Lauren told me that you guys shot the scene at the fountain together first. What was it like to shoot that scene and to have that be that first moment that you guys were back together? She said it was really moving for her to work with you again and especially to do that scene. How was it to find that moment? Was it also emotional for you?
KINNEY: It really was. I’m not trying to be dramatic when I say this, but when I read the script, I started crying. I think the show has just played such a huge part in my career and in my life and in all of our lives. Me and Lauren started the same day. We met at the hotel. It has always been so easy to do scenes with her. There’s a real natural ease to the scenes. If we have to do something emotional or do something, like in the past, that’s very violent, it has always come in a very calm, easy way. I don’t know why that is. It does naturally feel like a sister vibe. They did amazing with the casting. It’s just something that came naturally. So, honestly, reading it was emotional. And then, filming those scenes was easy. It felt natural.
Emily Kinney Got To Perform One of Her Own Songs As Beth in ‘Dead City’
“It just seemed to fit so well.”
What was it like to sing and perform in this episode? How was it to shoot all of that with Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, just hanging out and listening to you performing music?
KINNEY: Honestly, I loved it. I got to sing one of the songs I wrote, which is the first song I’m singing before the Christmas song. It’s a song called “Reasons to Stay Alive.” In the script, originally, it just said, “Beth sings a folk song.” And so, when they were planning the episode and I first met with the writers, they were like, “Do you have thoughts?” And I was like, “I do have thoughts,” and I pitched my own song. It just seemed to fit so well. The first thing I thought of was that song. So, it was really satisfying to get to sing that song and incorporate that part of my life. That was one thing I always shared with Beth. We both sang and loved music. In my real life, I’m a musician and songwriter, so it was cool to be able to incorporate that into her, as well.
My favorite moment in the episode is when you and Lauren are walking down the street singing “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear” together. That was such a special moment for those characters. What was that moment like to do?
KINNEY: I think that made the moments on stage make even more sense and gave them even more power to realize, “This is something Maggie knows is important to Beth, and it’s something they grew up doing.” It called back to long ago when we found the prison and everyone was sitting and singing around the campfire. It was a moment of rest. It’s not just, “Oh, why don’t me and Maggie sing?” It’s something that is a throughline, back from The Walking Dead and into now. Clearly, part of how they grew up was singing together.
I love that we got that little moment with Beth and Luis (Raúl Castillo). It was fun to think of what could be for Beth. Was it nice to leave her in a place of future possibilities, instead of where you had to leave her before?
KINNEY: Totally. I feel like it was very satisfying for me, as an actor, to be like, “Okay, she’s okay somewhere in some other timeline. She got to grow up and live a life and be an adult and follow her dreams.” It was very satisfying. That’s one thing that was so cool about this episode. If it’s the apocalypse and you’re running from zombies, the little moments of life that are normally so fun and special maybe get steamrolled over because you’re trying to survive.
They thankfully didn’t kill Beth again, so what was it like to finish the episode and say goodbye to her again?
KINNEY: It was so cool to come back. It felt like such a celebration, the whole shooting experience. We shot near Boston, and then also in New York City. I used to live in New York and now I live in L.A. And when I was shooting The Walking Dead, I lived in L.A. It just felt like a celebration of Beth, so it was really, really fun. Of course, in my mind, I’m going, “In this timeline, the zombie apocalypse hasn’t happened yet. Let’s keep going with a new spinoff.” There are always those questions in my mind. But mostly, I just thought it was a really cool way to get to celebrate that character. The Beth fans online have always been so supportive. I knew because of being on Instagram that people were going to be excited to get a moment with her again.
The thing that stood out the most with this episode was not hearing the sound of the Walkers. It’s so glaringly obvious that you’re not hearing that noise.
KINNEY: That’s funny. When I was watching it, I was like, “Oh, the sound design feels different in this episode.” It’s so interesting.
Emily Kinney Hopes Beth Fans Will Be Satisfied With Her ‘Dead City’ Story Arc
“There’s possibility and hope.”
What do you hope fans take from this episode and from getting to see Beth again?
KINNEY: I hope the Beth fans will feel a little more satisfied with seeing who she would have been. People would be like, “But she was just becoming this kind of person.” So, hopefully, they’ll get a little more satisfaction of getting a window into who she could have become. I also think there’s possibility and hope. You’re getting to see a different side of Maggie, and the possibility of who Maggie and Negan could still become. There was a core message in this too, with the idea of there being certain lessons to be learned in life and fate and things being a little bit out of your hands, so you have to take the leap. I really liked that about this episode. It’s that idea, not just for the show but in the world of, how much can you control? What can you be learning from our time on earth as humans?

Olivia Dunne Shows ‘Awkward’ Gymnast Recruiting Pics At LSU
Olivia Dunne revisited the time before she became an LSU Tiger!
The retired gymnast took a trip down memory lane by sharing pictures from her recruiting days at Louisiana State University. She shared the throwback snaps in a TikTok carousel, offering her 7.9 million followers a look at her journey before joining the collegiate gymnastics team.

Dunne posted the pics in response to a fan who asked if she was ever “awkward.” The first slide showed the athlete rocking her natural brunette hair standing in front of the LSU wall, dressed in a gray tank top, purple knee-length leggings, and flat white sandals with light brown soles. A swipe to the right saw Dunne in a dark gray sweater, along with black leggings, and sneakers.
In the third pic, Dunne flaunted her flashy diamond rings while clad in a royal blue hoodie. She was then seen flashing a big smile while at the LSU Tigers’ gymnasium, followed by an image of the former gymnast sitting on an alligator statue in her black top and shorts. She ended the carousel with a photo of her at the stands.
In the caption, Dunne noted she was “homeschooled.”
Fan Reactions

The update racked up over 1.5 million views, in addition to nearly 100,000 likes. One follower commented, “It’s crazy how these photos were taken 20 years ago,” which Dunne liked.
Another person wrote, “These are legendary pulls from the archive,” a third user added, “Girrlllllllll you were so adorable you probs just thought you were awkward.”
Olivia Dunne’s Road To Becoming An LSU Tiger
Dunne announced her verbal commitment to LSU in 2017, as seen in an old but gold Instagram post. Rocking the school’s LSU shirt, a cap, and black leggings, the content creator held three round purple balloons as she stood next to gold balloons spelling out, “LSU.”
“I am very excited to announce I have verbally committed to LSU on a full athletic scholarship!” she wrote in the caption. “I can’t wait to join such an amazing team. GEAUX TIGERS!”
Dunne arrived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the summer of 2020 during the pandemic. She was as a former junior national team member with a sizable social media following, which only grew during her time at LSU. Due to her fame, the former gymnast didn’t have a normal college experience.
“I struggled, especially at first, with the amount of eyes on me,” Dunne told ESPN. “I was 18 years old when everything changed, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe, I felt like I couldn’t make a mistake. But something you learn on social media is you will get hate and you will get people that are bitter towards you, especially when you have success.”
While she “struggled” with her social media fame at first, Dunne eventually saw it as a “blessing.”
“I think that having the eyes on me has been such a blessing in my life, and I feel like it’s translated over into eyes on the sport of gymnastics, which was a huge deal to me and a huge reason why I kept coming back for more,” she said. “Watching the growth of the sport, and women’s sports overall, has meant so much to me.”
Remembering Her Freshman Year
Dunne earned All-America honors on bars during her freshman season. Just like today, she loves posting photos and videos of her life. At the time, it was about her life in college.
“I love to use my platform to give LSU the hype,” Dunne said February 2021to Baton Rouge-area publication InRegister. “They deserve it. This is truly the best school ever, and I always get so many likes whenever I post about LSU.”
On July 1, 2021, after Dunne’s freshman year, things changed for college athletes. The NCAA’s NIL rules officially went into effect, allowing athletes across sports and the country to profit from their name, image, and likeness. Many wasted no time, signing endorsement deals as soon as the rule took effect, which was at midnight.
At the time, Dunne, who was and still the most followed NCAA athlete on social media, was featured on a billboard sponsored by LSU in Times Square. Her TikTok video she posted of herself with the billboard has 19 million views.
Due to her popularity, she received countless sponsorship offers and deals. Although, she admitted to having a “super hard time” as she has no one she could go to for advice.
“There definitely were some learning curves, and it took a long time to learn how to balance it all,” Dunne recalled. “Especially between my sophomore and junior year, that was a super hard time because I just didn’t know what to do and there were nobody’s footsteps to follow in. So I kind of had to learn on my own how to navigate all this.”
In April of last year, Dunne’s college career came to an end when the Tigers finished third in the NCAA semifinals. She had been injured at the time and unable to compete. Sharing a message on X, Dunne bid her favorite sport goodbye.
“Couldn’t have asked for a better 5 years! Thank you, LSU,” she wrote shortly after the meet. She made a second update, saying “[peace] out gymnastics it’s been real… and of course forever LSU!”

Khloé Kardashian’s One Reason For Turning Down Acting Roles
Khloé Kardashian may be heading back to the small screen on “The Kardashians,” but she isn’t looking to make a return to acting any time soon! She recently served as an executive producer on “The Girls,” which is a new Hulu reality series focused on some of her best friends: Nicole Williams English, Olivia Pierson, Khadijah Haqq-McCray, Natalie Halcro, Malika Haqq and Yris Palmer. While promoting the series, she was asked whether she would ever return to acting, and she surprised fans by revealing that she gets asked to be in movies all the time!

Although her sister Kim Kardashian has a growing acting career, Khloé isn’t looking to get in front of the camera any time soon.
In 2010, she played a fictional character named Dannii Hillman in a short video production called “Psychotherapist.”
That being said, she has made several cameos and guest appearances as herself. In 2010, she guest-starred as herself alongside her sisters in the season 3 episode of “90210” titled “Senior Year, Baby.”
In 2013, she appeared as herself in Kevin Hart’s satirical comedy series “Real Husbands of Hollywood.” The following year, she made a brief cameo appearance as herself in “Royal Pains.” She has also appeared in several “MADtv” sketch comedy hits.
That being said, she is best known for appearing on screen as herself in “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” from 2007 to 2021 and “The Kardashians” from 2022 to the present.
She has appeared in the spin-offs “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami,” “Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons,” and “Khloé & Lamar.” She was also co-host of “The X Factor,” host of “Kocktails with Khloé,” Host and EP of “Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian,” and executive producer of “The Girls.”
Why Khloé Is Not Interested In Acting

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about her new series, she was asked about the time in season three of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” when she took an acting class. Khloé admitted that she was “literally traumatized” from that whole experience and blamed “season three for why I am so traumatized when it comes to acting.”
“But I get asked to act all the time and to do these roles. I’m never gonna say never, but currently it’s not something I feel like makes my heart happy,” she revealed. “It’s not like where my passion is with anything.”
However, she did express support for Kim and Kylie’s “acting era.”
Someone Wants To See Khloé In A Movie

When she was asked to name a specific project that she was approached for, Khloé said, “I don’t know anything specific, but I get asked all the time: ‘Would you ever do a movie?’”
“People will say someone wants you for a movie, and I’m like, no, no, no. I have taken meetings with people who wanted to do a scripted series with me, and I just don’t know if it’s my thing,” she continued, adding that she is so “honored” and “flattered” to be asked.
“But I also don’t want to do something that I don’t feel like I could give 100 percent with. I don’t think it’s fair to any production, any people that are working their butts off,” she continued. “It would have to be something I take classes in, really study and try to be the best I can be at it.”
She went on to say, “It’s not something I would ever do, like, OK, acting sounds cool today. That’s just not who I am. I would have to take it seriously, and right now, I don’t know if I have the bandwidth to do all that extra stuff to give another workplace what they deserve out of me.”
Khloé Loved How ‘Green’ She Was First Starting Out

Khloé has been doing reality TV for almost twenty years now. When asked about the experience, Khloé said she appreciated “how green” she was at the time. Before filming, she and her famous family were warned they might not get a second season, which gave her a sense of freedom while filming.
“Kourtney and I specifically did not think about it,” she recalled. “We just were like, ‘F-ck it, we’re gonna film whatever we want to do.’”
“We were just goofs. We weren’t overthinking. We never thought we were gonna be famous or be a star — nothing like that,” she continued. “And that’s what made everything work the way it did because you could smell that stuff. You know when someone’s putting on. You know when someone’s contrived.”
“We were just who we were. I was 22 years old,” she added. “And to be green, naive and not overthink anything. What a blessing.”
All six episodes of “The Girls” are currently available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu. THR was also the first to reveal that season 8 of “The Kardashians” will premiere on Hulu in October 2026.

‘Abbott Elementary’s Heaviest Episode Shows an Entirely New Side to the ABC Sitcom
Abbott Elementary has never shied away from taking on real-world struggles. Part of what makes the show so appealing is its dedication to tackling daily issues and resolving them in creative, unexpected ways. But one of those showed a brand new side to the dynamic between teachers and students in Season 4, Episode 5’s “Dad Fight”. The outing sees Gregory (Tyler James Williams) challenged to a physical fight by a student’s father, Darnell (English Teacher‘s Langston Kerman) after Gregory forms a special bond with said student. While the idea of a peacekeeper like Gregory getting into a fist fight makes for great comedy, the show takes a surprising turn when he seems to have no choice but to participate. The episode is a perfect example of how Abbott Elementary tackles real-world issues both with humor and honesty, showing just how deep the show can be when it’s at its best.
Gregory’s Fight Is a Surprising Turn for ‘Abbott Elementary’
Abbott Elementary has certainly taken on nuanced and difficult topics before, but Gregory’s feud with Darnell is its heaviest by far. It begins with a simple act of kindness on Gregory’s part, when his student, Jabari (Seven John Singleton), admires a pencil in the container on Gregory’s desk. Gregory gives Jabari the pencil, which Darnell, who is largely absent from Jabari’s life, perceives as a threat, and challenges Gregory to a fight after school. To say it’s a bit extreme would be an understatement, but what makes the episode so jarring is how quick his fellow Abbott staffers are to place wages on the duel.
To no one’s surprise, Ava (Janelle James) organizes the bets, and everyone outside of Janine (Quinta Brunson) has ideas on how Gregory should fight. It’s certainly funny, and with characters like Mr. Johnson (William Standford Davis) and Tariq (Zack Fox) stepping up to coach Gregory, one can’t say his friends aren’t supportive. However, it’s astonishing as it seems the fight is going forth without anyone trying to stop it. Shocking as it may be, though, it’s not all that surprising when one considers a very real-world issue teachers face in public education.
Gregory’s Feud on ‘Abbott Elementary’ Reflects Teachers’ Everyday Issues
Abbott’s faculty have never backed down from a challenge. Whether it’s ringworm or turf wars, the staff always goes above and beyond to save the day. However, Gregory’s impending battle with Darnell represents an issue that has plagued the public school system for quite some time. According to EdSurge, the discourse between educators and parents has never been more intense. Hostile school board meetings and curriculum strip-downs have led to a divide between the two sides, something that is reflected in Gregory’s dilemma.
Gregory’s kindness and his deep care for Jabari should be celebrated. Instead, Darnell treats Gregory like some sort of threat to his relationship with his son. While Darnell’s threat of physical violence may seem extreme to viewers, the other teacher’s passive and even excited reactions only reflect how desensitized they’ve become to such altercations. Heck, Darnell’s mother, Lisa (X Mayo), later reveals that Barbara (Sheryl Lee Ralph) even took a swing at Darnell the previous year. Sure, the idea of Barbara getting into a fight is hilarious, but it’s sad that the teachers have to deal with so much distrust and upset. Abbott’s group has always gone above and beyond for their students, a characteristic that is perhaps at its most beautiful when it comes to Gregory. It may not have always been his “dream job,” but his relationship with Jabari exemplifies what a spectacular educator he’s become. He certainly doesn’t deserve the fury he incurs from Darnell, but, in true Abbott fashion, Gregory’s solution is both innovative and important.
Gregory Solves His Problem in the Most ‘Abbott’ Way Possible
As Gregory’s fight with Darnell approaches, no one has offered him any sort of help. Initially, he decides to use Jacob (Chris Perfetti) as a distraction. However, Jacob’s approach isn’t one of his more innovative ideas, thus it seems like Gregory may actually have to go through with the brawl. But Gregory shows just what kind of man he is when he refuses to fight, not for his sake but for Jabari’s. He gives a riveting speech, explaining how engaging in the fight would sever the trust he’s built with Jabari.
It’s a wonderful moment that serves as a wonderful example of what makes Abbott Elementary the wonderful show it is. It’s not necessarily a peaceful ending for the two. They’re certainly not friends, but they don’t have to be; what they do is put Jabari first. It not only ends the episode’s issue, but it also serves as a reminder that kids should always come first in parent/teacher relationships. No show has ever really solidified this as well as Abbott has, and Gregory’s near battle should serve as a reminder for all those who deal with similar difficulties.
Abbott Elementary is available to stream on Hulu in the U.S.

Jim Curtis Gives Jennifer Aniston What She’s ‘Never Had Before’
Jennifer Aniston’s romance with Jim Curtis seems to be all that she has been looking for all this time.
The actress and the life coach became an item last July and have been going strong ever since, with Curtis blending seamlessly into her high-profile world.
Aniston is said to be fulfilled with her choice of partner, especially after two failed marriages with fellow Hollywood actors.

Months after passing the one-year anniversary milestone, insiders dished on how Aniston and Curtis are faring, saying the actress is so proud to flaunt him.
As her first major relationship since her 2018 divorce, the “Friends” star can’t help but enjoy how different the ride has been compared to her past relationships.
“This relationship is succeeding on so many levels because it’s got things that Jen’s never had before,” the informant told Page Six. “She doesn’t feel like she has to work to impress him or keep him [like she did with Theroux, 55].”
Aniston was married to Justin Theroux for three years, from 2015. She first tied the knot with Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. Pitt and Aniston went their separate ways after his affair with his “Mr & Mrs Smith” co-star, Angelina Jolie.
“She doesn’t feel like she has to compete with other, more famous women who are after him. And most of all, she never ever questions where she stands with him,” added the source.
The hypnotherapist is said to be devoted to Aniston, making her the center of his world.
No Marriage For Jennifer Aniston And Jim Curtis
Despite the commitment and devotion from Curtis, the “We’re The Millers” star reportedly has no intention of ever walking down the aisle a third time.
“They’re still very, very happy,” explained the insider. “But they have no intention of ever getting married — Jen swears she will never get married again.”
Nevertheless, the Hollywood star is not afraid to give Curtis the special treatment, introducing him to her bevy of A-lister friends.
He has been spotted on lavish vacations with Aniston’s pals like Jason Bateman, Courteney Cox and more.
The award-winning star is boosting Curtis’ career by giving her support. She is set to interview her man at an upcoming New York event titled “An Evening with Jim Curtis,” in promotion of his new book.
A ‘Goddess Circle’ Ritual For Manifestation

The reports of no marriage are a far cry from what a separate source said about Aniston and Curtis’ future.
As The Blast previously reported, the actress was said to be dreaming up a proposal on the heels of their anniversary celebration.
The insider noted that Aniston used spiritual means to manifest her wants, particularly participating in “spiritual goddess circle talks” with her close pals. She reportedly sees Curtis as her “soulmate.”
Inside Aniston’s Alleged Secret Lunch With Ex, Brad Pitt

Despite her deep connection with the wellness coach, Aniston still seems to share a special bond with ex Brad Pitt.
Despite the painful circumstances of their breakup, the former couple, who publicly reunited at the 2020 SAG Awards, are said to keep in touch regularly.
According to The Blast, the “Fight Club” actor reportedly made it a weekly habit to visit his former wife while she filmed the second season of Apple TV’s “The Morning Show.”
“Brad would come to set at least once a week. Some crew knew but had no idea who or how many. It was a standing lunch date, and he stuck to it,” alleged the source.
Pitt Sparks Tension For Aniston And Curtis’ Romance

Prior to the revelation of Aniston and Pitt’s secret meetings, rumors suggested the actress’ boyfriend was feeling tensioned by the mention of the Hollywood hunk.
Per The Blast, the author felt uncomfortable after the “Murder Mystery” actress reflected on guest appearances on “Friends.” She particularly praised her ex-husband’s episode and his vulnerability to be nervous on set despite already being famous.
Curtis allegedly found the comment unnecessary because he believes “some relationships are better left in the past.”

Steven Spielberg Sci-Fi Epic Publicly Defended by James Cameron Officially Finds New Streaming Home
It took almost a decade for him to return, but the king of sci-fi himself, Steven Spielberg, finally found his way back to the genre earlier this year, eight years after making 2018’s Ready Player One. The first contact tale with a twist, Disclosure Day, earned almost $250 million in global revenue during a somewhat underwhelming box office run, against a reported budget of $115 million. Spielberg brought together a stellar cast for his latest venture, led by Emily Blunt (A Quiet Place), Josh O’Connor (Challengers), and Colin Firth (The King’s Speech).
Unlike his many classics in the genre, such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Spielberg’s latest sci-fi was met with backlash from some audiences and critics. Collider’s Nate Richard was a fan, scoring the film an 8/10 in his review, but admitted it might not be “everybody’s cup of tea.” But this is far from Spielberg’s first rodeo in the divisive sci-fi department, with one of his most contentious modern movies coming over two decades ago as he adapted H.G. Wells‘ iconic 1898 novel, War of the Worlds.
War of the Worlds stars the ever-brilliant Tom Cruise alongside Dakota Fanning and Justin Chatwin, as they fight against an invading alien threat intent on conquering the Earth. Much of the story was well-received by critics and audiences, except the ending, which held much of the widespread criticism. Jumping to the ending’s defense was another veteran Hollywood director, James Cameron, who said, “I don’t think H.G. Wells could figure it out.” Whether you love the ending or not, there’s enough in War of the Worlds to keep you entertained next month, as the film officially joins the ranks of HBO Max, starting September 1.
How Much Did ‘War of the Worlds’ Make at the Box Office?
Although its reception was as mixed as Disclosure Day, War of the Worlds was much more successful at the box office. Against a reported budget of $132 million, the movie earned just over $600 million worldwide, split between a domestic haul of $234 million and a further $372 million from overseas markets. The film opened on July 1, 2005, and instantly topped the domestic box office charts. However, it quickly dropped to second in its second weekend, losing to Tim Story‘s Fantastic Four.
War of the Worlds is streaming on HBO Max next month. Stay tuned to Collider for the latest stories.

George Clooney And Amal Look More In Love After Fleeing France
A wildfire is not strong enough to compete with the flames of George Clooney and Amal’s burning love.
The power couple recently faced difficult times after their home in France was victim to the dangerous wildfires that plagued the southern region.
Luckily, the Clooneys were able to make it out in time, months after the veteran actor turned 65 in a lavish celebration.

About a month after George and Amal were forced to evacuate their property in Brignoles, France, the duo were spotted in Lake Como, Italy.
The lovebirds looked radiant during their date night in matching white outfits while attending an event at Villa Passalacqua.
The “Ocean’s Twelve” actor defied his older age in a smart casual monochrome look comprising a simple tee and matching pants and loafers. He accessorized with a silver watch and a pair of aviator glasses, letting his signature grey roots complete the style.
The human rights activist, however, stole the show in a slinky silk gown with a plunging neckline that teased her cleavage. Amal styled her full tresses into a side part, accessorizing with dangling statement earrings and chunky bracelets
As seen in photos obtained by the Daily Mail, George and Amal looked every bit the happy couple with the lawyer holding a small bouquet handed to her upon disembarking the boat. At some point, the pair held hands while interacting with guests.
George And Amal Clooney Confirm France Departure In Emotional Letter

The stylish evening out is a breath of fresh air for the Clooneys after they evacuated their Brignoles home, where they raise their 9-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.
According to The Blast, George and Amal were displaced from their luxury estate in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and wrote to the mayor about the situation.
Mourning the possible loss of their home amid their departure, the letter read, “At this point, we have no idea whether our beautiful home makes it through this terrible moment.”
Nevertheless, the couple stated that their priority remains the safety of their community and helping whichever way they can. “We love Brignoles and our friends who live there,” they concluded.
Inside George Clooney’s Surprise Birthday Celebration

The heartbreaking evacuation followed a happy time for the couple after the actor marked quite the milestone, turning 65.
During their attendance at the King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Royal Albert Hall in London, George dished on how Amal made his special day memorable.
As The Blast reported, the attorney went all out, even surprising George by making some of his famous friends pose as waiters.
Reflecting on the celebration with humor, the “Jay Kelly” actor joked, “It’s a dangerous thing to surprise someone when they turn 65 because you could drop. You know, that could be the end of you, so you have to be very careful when you surprise people.
The Actor Made A Career Vow After Discussing With His Wife

After being Hollywood’s leading bachelor for decades, George dropped the crown in 2014 when he tied the knot with Amal. Ever since, the pair has been growing strong, influencing even what roles the actor takes.
Last year, George rocked the media waves when he revealed his decision to no longer kiss women on screen, in devotion to his family life, after reaching heights in his career.
“I’ve been trying to go the route Paul Newman did: ‘OK, well, I’m not kissing a girl anymore,” he said, per The Blast. “When I turned 60, I had a conversation with my wife.”
George recalled that the discussion centered around him aging maturely and having the financial security to be picky with roles.
George Clooney Names His Next James Bond Pick

Away from his personal life, the award-winning actor stirred waters when he joined the conversation about who should be the next 007.
As reported by The Blast, Clooney revealed he is pitching Callum Turner, singer Dua Lipa’s husband, to be the next James Bond.
Defending his choice, the four-time Golden Globe winner praised Turner’s acting skills in “The Boys in the Boat,” a 2023 movie produced and directed by George.
“I hope Callum ends up being the next Bond. I think he would be a great Bond. He’s tall and handsome and charming and British, so he’s the perfect guy to do it,” he said.

Breckie Hill’s Surprising History With Netflix’s Newest Reality Star
The internet has a funny way of making a very big world feel tiny. Breckie Hill and Alix Earle are a pretty good example. Years before millions of people were following their lives online, both creators were students at the University of Miami. Now, according to Hill, they have somehow ended up under the same roof.

“It’s honestly so random,” the 23-year-old said in a statement sent to The Blast. “Alix and I were at UMiami at the same time, and now we live in the same building. It’s funny how that worked out.”
At Miami, Earle was studying business, while Hill had an entirely different future in mind. “I was going to be a doctor,” she recently told Adam22 during an August 20 appearance on “No Jumper,” adding that internet fame “never crossed my mind.”
Fame found her anyway. A few unexpectedly viral TikToks eventually became a full-time career, with Hill building an audience of millions across social media. Not that the influencer necessarily sees it that way. “I use the term famous lightly,” she said. “I don’t think I’m famous.”
Breckie Hill Reflects On Watching The ‘Alix Earle Effect’ Take Shape

As for Earle, she graduated from Miami in 2023 with considerably more than a business degree. By then, the New Jersey native had built a massive following with her candid “Get Ready With Me” videos, eventually turning what became known as the “Alix Earle Effect” into a full-fledged business empire.
“Alix was a little ahead of me, so it was cool watching her figure out social media while I was still figuring out what I even wanted to do,” Hill said. “She had a way of making everything feel really natural, and I think that’s a big part of why so many people gravitated toward her.”
Since then, Earle, now 25, has grown her audience to more than 13 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, finished second on “Dancing with the Stars,” launched Reale Actives, and landed a spot on the cover of the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Netflix is next.
Breckie Hill Shares Her Thoughts On Alix Earle’s Upcoming Netflix Series

“Earle Meets World,” an eight-episode unscripted series premiering September 4, follows Earle through the “real-time messiness” of work, travel, relationships and family life, with sister Ashtin, their blended family and close friends along for the ride. The project was first announced by Netflix on January 21 and comes from Fulwell Entertainment, the Emmy-winning production company behind Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
“There’s only so much you can show online before it starts feeling like a highlight reel,” Hill said. “So I think it’ll be fun to see more of Alix when everything isn’t edited down to 30 seconds.”
Their unexpected connection also highlights how quickly social media can reshape a person’s plans. Neither woman appears to have entered college with the career she ultimately built, yet both found an audience while still navigating what came next. For Hill, the shift was dramatic. Her original plan involved medicine, not viral videos, brand opportunities or potential entertainment projects.
Earle, meanwhile, turned an approachable online presence into a career that now extends across television, fashion and unscripted entertainment.
Hill’s Own Next Chapter Could Be Just As Unpredictable

Living in the same building adds another surprising chapter to a story that began before either creator reached her level of visibility. Their paths are not identical, but the overlap gives Hill a rare perspective on Earle’s rise. She saw part of the process before the follower counts, major partnerships, and Netflix cameras became central to the conversation.
The timing also makes Hill’s comments particularly relevant as Earle prepares to offer viewers a more expansive look at her life. Short-form videos helped introduce both women to enormous audiences, but a reality series gives Earle far more room to show the relationships, routines and complications that cannot fit neatly into a brief social media post.
For Hill, her own next chapter may prove unpredictable.
Breckie Hill Has Her Sights Set On Hollywood
Hill may not have a Netflix crew following her around, but Hollywood doesn’t appear completely out of the question. Sydney Sweeney reposted her Euphoria-inspired Cassie Howard recreation earlier this year, and a Venice Beach lifeguard shoot this summer set off calls for her to join the Baywatch reboot.
Whether a red swimsuit actually turns into a call sheet remains to be seen. Hill, however, has already floated “acting or singing” when asked what might be next.
