Carrie Julier of SEV Reveals How to Put Your Razor Into Retirement With Laser Hair Removal Tips
Silky smooth! Carrie Julier, Chief Executive Officer of SEV Laser, sat down with ET to reveal the biggest mistakes you might be making before and after your laser hair removal appointments.
While sleek skin from head to toe may be the goal, getting there is easier than you might think.
“Each appointment at SEV is smooth, quick, and comfortable. … Most appointments are completed in 15 minutes or less, though larger treatment areas and full-body sessions typically require additional time. Many clients describe the laser pulse as a quick snap, similar to feeling a rubber band pop against the skin,” Julier notes.
For an extra dose of chill, the celeb-loved aesthetic destination launched Cool Factor, a cryo-cooling technology that delivers air as cold as -22°F with each laser pulse to soothe the skin and take some of the sting out of a summer appointment.
“It takes on one of the biggest myths around laser hair removal: that it has to hurt. In summer, that perception can feel even stronger. It’s hot outside, you’re already warm, and the idea of adding a laser to the mix can sound uncomfortable. But the reality is that laser hair removal discomfort is typically mild and very manageable. … The use of this technology not only provides a more comfortable laser experience, but it minimizes swelling and redness afterwards,” she explains.
SEV is keeping things cool outside the treatment room too. To celebrate the new campaign, the brand is hosting a pop-up experience at its West Hollywood, California and Williamsburg, New York locations on Saturday, Aug. 16, where guests can stop by for frozen yogurt from Go Greek.
When it comes to getting the best results, consistency is key. Julier recommends eight treatments spaced around four weeks apart.
“It’s common for clients to see noticeable differences in the thickness, darkness, and amount of hair that grows back on a treated area after their first or second session, but multiple treatments are required for full hair reduction.”
Committing to the process can pay off long after you leave the laser room, though, with less time spent reaching for a razor or booking a wax.
“Earlier this year, we launched Calcu-laser, a proprietary tool that calculates the real-time money and time savings offered to clients who choose laser over traditional hair removal methods like shaving and waxing. It shows that over a 10-year period, laser hair removal can save up to 50 days and thousands of dollars. … It delivers long-lasting hair reduction, meaning less time spent maintaining unwanted hair and more time focused on everything else.”
Before getting zapped, there are a few beauty rules to follow. Make sure you’ve avoided tanning for two to four weeks beforehand, shaved the treatment area 24 to 48 hours before your appointment, and arrive with clean, product-free skin.
And if your skin is naturally sun-kissed, there’s no need to count yourself out.
“Every treatment is customized to the individual, taking into account each client’s skin tone, hair type, and treatment goals. Making aesthetics more accessible has always been central to SEV, so we continue to invest in innovations that remove the barriers people have traditionally associated with laser hair removal, whether that’s skin tone, comfort, or cost,” the entrepreneur says.
Once your appointment is over, give your skin some time to recover with the proper aftercare, and you’ll be that much closer to putting your razor into retirement.
“For the first 24–72 hours after treatment, avoid saunas, hot tubs, shaving, exfoliating, and using harsh skincare products for one week,” Julier suggests.

Paramount+’s 7-Part Military Drama Is Hiding a Secret Weapon
It’s not often that TV shows about first responders or military officers actually cast folks with real-life experience in those roles. It makes sense, though, as actors can best convey the emotions necessary to carry a story and develop a character. But what if an actor actually had those experiences themselves? Taylor Sheridan does this with his character Travis Wheatley on Yellowstone (Sheridan himself was a cowboy before he was a filmmaker), proving that this is entirely possible. But before Sheridan showed up in a cowboy hat on Yellowstone, SEAL Team gained traction for casting a real-life Navy SEAL as a part of the show.
What Is ‘SEAL Team’ Really About?
Developed for television by Benjamin Cavell, SEAL Team is based on an idea brought to CBS by former Navy SEAL and executive producer on the series, Mark Owen, the same man whose helmet lead star David Boreanaz sports in honor of the real SEALs they represent. The series details the lives of the members of Bravo Team, both on and off the battlefield. One of the most impressive parts of the CBS-turned-Paramount+ series is its commitment to accurately portraying the complicated lives of the men and women who serve in the U.S. military — particularly how it deals with the hardship and trauma of combat and how soldiers can bring that home with them.
“One thing that makes our show a little more interesting is the fact that it follows the family lives,” Owen explained in a SEAL Team special feature. “As many friends as I’ve lost in combat, I’ve lost a lot to suicide and dealing with things when they get home. It takes a lot to sacrifice so much, and that’s really why I think this show does so well…” It’s these struggles that SEAL Team is committed to highlighting, and is part of the reason for Clay Spenser’s (Max Theriot‘s character) complex and heartbreaking arc in Season 6.
‘SEAL Team’s Mark Semos and Tyler Grey Are the Perfect Men for the Job
SEAL Team‘s commitment to authenticity shows itself in a variety of ways, one of them being hiring actual military veterans as cast members who can help navigate the subtleties of combat on set. One such cast member is Mark Semos, a former Navy SEAL who played John “TJ” Monero during the second season of the long-running series. Starting in Hollywood as a stuntman, Semos landed work as the stunt coordinator for the Peter Berg film Lone Survivor, which opened the door for a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity. “A few years later, I had the opportunity to work on the pilot episode of the TV show SEAL Team, the production brought me on as a Consulting Producer at first and now I am a Writing Producer on the show,” Semos told ATRG in 2020.
Serving behind the scenes as a writer and producer on the series, Semos helps guide the story of Bravo Team based on his own experience as a SEAL. He even returned to the screen in the Season 6 episode “Fair Winds and Following Seas” as Devgru OP #6, albeit briefly. “The authenticity level of SEAL Team is truly a team effort,” Semos later elaborated. “It starts in the writers’ room, and every single screenwriter works hard to maintain the standard and still tell the stories we need to tell. Then, on set, the effort continues with our directors and actors all striving to maintain the standards. Tyler Grey usually holds down the fort on set.”
That other guy Semos mentions, Tyler Grey, is a former U.S. Army Delta Force operator and Army Ranger sniper who ended up finding his way to SEAL Team as well. Though not a former Navy SEAL, Grey has plenty of combat experience himself, and after being injured in the field, he was forced to go on medical leave, leading him ultimately to Hollywood. “It completely changed who I thought I was,” Grey told Los Angeles’ CBS affiliate. “I didn’t know what I wanted to do in the industry; I just knew I wanted to work in the industry.” Eventually, Grey moved on from being an advisor on the show to playing the recurring Bravo Team member Trent Sawyer, who has appeared in all six seasons. From there, he even graduated to the role of director with the Season 3 episode “Unbecoming an Officer.”
‘SEAL Team’ Is Known For Hiring U.S. Military Veterans
In addition to Semos and Grey, not to mention Mark Owen himself, SEAL Team is known for hiring a host of other veterans to make their story possible and believable. “What we’re trying to do as a group is make something that’s not real, obviously, but make something that’s authentic,” Grey explained on a 2017 edition of CBS This Morning. And he’s right. Of all the military shows that have aired on network television and on streaming, SEAL Team is often considered one of the most authentic, and that’s largely due to the folks they’ve hired to tie it all together.
“We’ve hired almost 100 veterans… that have been a part of our show, and we relish that,” David Boreanaz once told Rachael Ray. “The people—we don’t like to call them technical advisers; we like to call them producers—[are there] from the concept of the story all the way through to the finish.” Without people like Owen, Semos, and Grey–not to mention the countless others who are always on set–SEAL Team would be just another run-of-the-mill military show that doesn’t bother to double-check their work. Thankfully, that’s not the case here.

20 Years Later, the 10/10 Harlan Coben Adaptation You’ve Never Seen Is Officially Streaming
To modern audiences, the name Harlan Coben is synonymous with thrilling storytelling, both in his many bestselling novels and in the numerous hit TV series based on them. Shows such like The Stranger, Fool Me Once, and the recent I Will Find You have established him as the master of stories that keep you guessing right up to the end. However, what you might not know is that one of his novels has been adapted for the big screen — in fact, it was the author’s first-ever adaptation. And that film is now streaming for free on Tubi.
French drama-thriller Tell No One is a roller-coaster of suspense, wrapping a nightmare scenario around a race against the clock to create a cinematic encounter that will stay with you for a long time.
‘Tell No One’ Brings Harlan Coben’s Novel to Life
Based on the author’s 2001 book of the same name, Tell No One stars François Cluzet as pediatrician Alexandre Beck, a man still grieving the death of his wife eight years ago. His world is shattered when he learns that he is implicated in the murder of two people, while at the same time receiving a mysterious email telling him his wife may in fact be alive. Embarking on a frantic chase through the streets of Paris, he must avoid police detection and criminal violence in order to uncover a shocking conspiracy.
A huge hit in its native France and popular internationally, Guillaume Canet showed Hollywood how it’s done with an enticing mystery that takes ordinary people and puts them in extraordinary situations. The 2000s would produce a number of revenge or rescue thrillers such as Taken. However, it’s difficult to think of one that managed to be so unique.
‘Tell No One’ Side-Steps Every Expectation
Everyone’s watched a movie where you can tell what’s coming next – the shifty-looking character is obviously the killer, or the government operative was a double agent this whole time. There’s nothing wrong with formula as a concept, but there’s something so exciting about a film that decides to take you on a different path.
Canet resolutely refuses to follow your expectations, avoiding the obvious solution at every turn without offering twists for the sake of it. Every revelation Alexandre encounters feeds back into his grief, his guilt, and his regrets. Seemingly innocent moments become the keys to later understanding, as everything and everyone we see on screen becomes implicated. Furthermore, he’s the point of view character for the audience, asking us to think about what we might do in such circumstances, only to have reality flipped on us. It’s the kind of tension and paranoia that would make Alfred Hitchcock proud, and works wonderfully even two decades after its release.
It’s the One Foreign Language Movie Hollywood Didn’t Try to Remake
If a foreign language film becomes a hit, there’s usually a strong chance that American studios will attempt to remake it. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’s original Swedish trilogy’s success was somewhat marred by lackluster American remakes, while movies such as Let Me In, The Upside, and Ghost in the Shell all took foreign-made classics and failed to improve on them. Incredibly, with Tell No One, Hollywood had met their match. The rights for an American remake were optioned, but a project never came to light, underlining just how hard it is to follow in Cluzet’s frantic footsteps.
The pacing, sideswiping twists, and excellent performances set a template that was perhaps too intimidating for American filmmakers. It’s an adult-skewed story with moral ambiguity and stakes centered around people rather than supervillains, making it a refreshing change for those who have been on a franchise-heavy diet for many years. When a story is told the right way, it takes a brave or foolhardy filmmaker to offer their own take on it. Tell No One remains such a film, and two decades on, it still feels untouchable.
Tell No One might feel foreboding if you are not used to straying outside of American cinema, but Canet’s film brings the best of both worlds, combining Hollywood-style action with French cinema’s love of suspense, internal performances, and psychological trauma. The only thing that may distract you from this pulse-pounding thriller is the sound of gasps from everyone watching.Tell No One is streaming free on Tubi.

Matt Bellamy Files for Divorce From Elle Evans, Seeks Custody
Muse singer Matt Bellamy has filed for divorce from wife Elle Evans after seven years of marriage.
According to court documents obtained by Us, Bellamy, 48, submitted a dissolution of marriage on Wednesday, August 12. The rock star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. A date of separation was not listed but Bellamy and Evans, 36, reportedly broke up last year.
Bellamy is seeking legal and physical custody of his and Evans’ two children: daughter Lovella, 6, and son George, 2, per the filing. (The Grammy winner is also father to son Bingham, 15, whom he welcomed with ex-fiancée Kate Hudson.)
The docs also stated that spousal support will be pursuant to Bellamy and Evans’ prenuptial agreement. Bellamy asked the court to terminate his ability to receive spousal support.
Evans told TMZ in a Wednesday statement that she plans on fighting for custody of her and Bellamy’s kids and that the divorce filing was “a long time coming.”
Us has reached out to Bellamy’s lawyers and Evans’ spokesperson for comment.
Bellamy and Evans tied the knot in August 2019 after four years of dating.
“Mr. & Mrs. Bellamy 💕😊💕,” the singer wrote via Instagram at the time alongside photos from the pair’s seaside nuptials.
Last year, Bellamy and Evans called it quits, but never publicly acknowledged their decision to part ways until earlier this year. During a June interview with The i Paper, Bellamy opened up about his split from the model.
“It’s one of those situations that involves something that people wouldn’t normally think it is,” he told the outlet. “It was a set of really unexpected circumstances. It’s the kind of thing no one really prepares for in life. It threw me off, and I had to prioritize looking after the kids and creating stability at home.”
Bellamy added that the “ life-changing experience” served as inspiration for Muse’s latest album, The Wow! Signal.
“It was just, ‘Boom.’ It would just pour out of me,” he recalled of the writing process. “It might have been the easiest album for me to make because it was such a catharsis. It became a lifeline for me.”
Although Bellamy is moving on, he admitted some tracks still can get an emotional reaction out of him.
“‘Shimmering Scars’ is tricky. I think ‘Space Debris’ is one of my most personal tunes, but it’s not all darkness. [‘Nightshift Superstar’ is about] how me and my ex used to go to Burning Man and just dance all night long,” he shared. “The whole album isn’t just whining.”

Trooper Accused Of Throwing Teen, Punching Her
Things took a serious turn during what was reportedly supposed to be a routine traffic stop involving 18-year-old Alisa Hackett. Now, a newly released video and allegations outlined in a federal lawsuit have put the encounter under a much bigger spotlight—and Hackett is accusing an Arkansas State Police trooper of using excessive force against her.

Lawsuit Details Alleged Force During Traffic Stop
According to the lawsuit filed Monday, Hackett was stopped in Mississippi County, Arkansas, on Aug. 1 by trooper Moisses Arellano. The lawsuit says Hackett was unarmed and did not pose a threat when the stop turned physical. It claims Arellano “slammed her to the ground and struck her in the face.” The lawsuit says Hackett was stopped for what was, at most, a minor traffic offense. Her attorneys say the trooper hit her after she questioned and objected to what was happening.
Her attorneys also say Hackett pulled her arm away while Arellano was trying to handcuff her. They argue that this did not justify hitting her in the face. According to CBS News, Arellano’s own use-of-force report says he struck Hackett. The report says he gave her several orders to roll over before delivering one closed-fist strike to the left side of her face. Arellano wrote that Hackett continued to resist by pulling her wrists away and refusing to roll over.
Benjamin Crump Calls For Investigation After Arrest
Hackett’s attorney, Benjamin Crump, is calling for an investigation into the trooper’s use of force. Crump also spoke out about what happened. He said officers should be able to handle a traffic stop involving a teen without taking her to the ground or hitting her. The Arkansas State Police did not respond to a request for comment. NBC News also said it could not reach Arellano for comment.
“Arkansas State Police have to explain to the public how that is a reasonable response to a teenager at a traffic stop,” Crump shared in a statement. “If you cannot handle a teenage girl without taking her to the ground, cursing at her, and punching her in the face, you should not be wearing a badge.”
The lawsuit also questions what happened after the physical encounter. According to Hackett’s attorneys, the trooper filed criminal charges against her in a way they say was meant to justify the force used during the stop and keep her from speaking out about what happened. Hackett was booked at the Mississippi County jail shortly after midnight on Aug. 2. She faced five charges, including improper display of tags, a vehicle-lamp violation, not wearing a seatbelt, buying or having alcohol as a minor, and refusing to submit to arrest.

Aaron Sorkin Says Facebook Has Become ‘Very Dangerous’
Aaron Sorkin is revisiting Facebook with his upcoming film, “The Social Reckoning,” 16 years after the Oscar-winning movie “The Social Network” explored the company’s origins. This time, Sorkin is taking a closer look at the social media giant’s impact. Ahead of the film’s release, the director has shared some candid thoughts about Facebook and its influence.

“The Social Reckoning,” the follow-up to 2010’s “The Social Network,” will be released in a couple of months, and writer and director Aaron Sorkin is sharing his thoughts about how Facebook has changed since its inception.
The first movie centered on the founding of Facebook and the lawsuits that followed, while the upcoming film shifts the focus to the platform’s evolution and the consequences of its influence on society.
Sorkin acknowledged Facebook’s growth in terms of its user base and noted how many people now rely on the platform for news.
“About a third of American adults get their news from Facebook. That is very dangerous. We’re no longer agreeing that the sky is blue and two plus two equals four,” Sorkin said in an Esquire interview.
The Director Blamed The Capitol Insurrection On Facebook
Elsewhere in the conversation, Sorkin was asked about a previous comment he made, blaming the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol attack on the social media network. In a podcast interview in 2024, he blatantly said, “I blame Facebook for January 6,” adding that he would be writing about it.
Sorkin expanded on his previous statement, mentioning Facebook’s 2018 crisis involving Cambridge Analytica, in which millions of private user data were improperly collected. The filmmaker said the social network’s engagement went down following the incident, and they “returned the algorithm.”
“A comment was worth five times as much as a like; an emoji was worth fifteen times as much as a like. A reshare would be worth thirty times a like,” Sorkin explained, adding that the company “knew that the things that get reshared the most are rage bait.”
“They began pumping into the air supply all this stuff intended to make you mad. Certainly, you can draw a line from that to January 6,” he concluded.
Aaron Sorkin Believes The Platform Has Gone ‘Out Of Control’
Sorkin acknowledged Mark Zuckerberg’s brilliance of mind. However, he also noted Facebook has “gone completely out of control.”
Over the years, Facebook has faced multiple controversies. Beyond privacy leaks, the platform has been accused of spreading political misinformation, viral health hoaxes, and hate speech. Moreover, the leaked documents showed that executives knew Facebook harmed the mental health of teen users, yet chose business over safety.
Despite what Facebook has become, Sorkin believes what’s happening now was not part of Zuckerberg’s plan when he created and launched Facebook.
“I don’t think Mark Zuckerberg ever intended for it to have a corrosive effect. I think his intentions were good,” Sorkin said, adding that it just “got way out of hand.”
The Filmmaker On The Challenge Of Writing About Mark Zuckerberg

Sorkin, who won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for his writing on “The Social Network,” said Zuckerberg was not involved in both movies. While he did reach out before filming the first movie, he said the CEO did not cooperate, but they met with “a bunch of his lieutenants.” Despite Zuckerberg’s refusal, Sorkin said he was satisfied with the outcome, as he didn’t want to make a film that was a “Mark Zuckerberg-approved version” anyway.
In June, the filmmaker shared one of the challenges of writing the script for “The Social Reckoning” and mentioned how he approached writing Zuckerberg. In 2019, Sorkin slammed the CEO in an open letter in The New York Times.
Despite Sorkin’s feelings toward him, he said he put his judgments aside while writing “The Social Reckoning.”
“You’ve got to write that character like they’re making their case to God why they should be allowed into heaven,” Sorkin told Vanity Fair.
Inside ‘The Social Reckoning’
“The Social Reckoning” centers on the Facebook whistleblower leaks that came to light in 2021. Former Facebook employee Frances Haugen shared internal documents with Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, which contained evidence suggesting that the company prioritized profits over the safety and well-being of its users.
The movie features Mikey Madison (Frances Haugen), Jeremy Allen White (Jeff Horwitz), and Jeremy Strong (Mark Zuckerberg), alongside Bill Burr, Wunmi Mosaku, and Billy Magnussen.
“The Social Reckoning” is scheduled for release on October 9.

Perez Hilton Makes Major Move For 3 Kids Amid Recovery
Perez Hilton has made a major decision involving his three children as his family continues navigating the aftermath of his hospitalization.
The 48-year-old celebrity blogger has voluntarily agreed to give his mother, Teresita Lavandeira, temporary legal custody of Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8.
The new court filing gives Lavandeira significant authority over the children’s care while Hilton remains hospitalized, but another request from his mother reveals just how determined the family is to shield the kids as he faces what his team has described as a long recovery.

Hilton’s mother filed for temporary custody of his three children in Miami on August 7, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
Importantly, the filing does not appear to represent a custody fight between Hilton and his mother. The blogger signed the documents and “voluntarily consented” to the arrangement.
In the filing, Hilton acknowledged that temporarily placing the children in Lavandeira’s legal custody was in their “best interest.”
The arrangement gives his mother the ability to make important decisions while Hilton concentrates on his recovery, including consenting to necessary medical and dental care and accessing the children’s medical, educational, and vital records.
She can also make educational decisions and handle other matters necessary for Mario, Mia, and Mayte’s care.
However, the arrangement is temporary. Hilton acknowledged in the documents that he can eventually petition the court to return legal custody to him, although he may first have to complete a “reasonable transition plan.”
Hilton’s Mother Wants To Protect The Children From ‘Further Trauma’

Lavandeira is also asking the court to keep the family’s legal proceedings away from public scrutiny.
In a separate filing, she requested that the custody case be sealed because of the extraordinary attention surrounding her son’s hospitalization.
“The children in this case should not be subjected to any further trauma related to the incidents that are the basis for the Petition,” the filing states.
Lavandeira argued that sealing the records would give the family an opportunity to “privately heal and move forward” following what she described as a “very unfortunate incident.”
The request follows earlier efforts by Hilton’s relatives to shield his children from the situation.
Earlier, his family confirmed that the three children were safe and being cared for by immediate relatives while asking photographers and media outlets not to follow or photograph them.
Perez Hilton Remains On A Long Road To Recovery

The custody development comes as Hilton continues receiving treatment following the August 4 crisis at his Miami home.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said it received multiple calls about an individual livestreaming acts of self-harm. Authorities subsequently transported Hilton to a hospital for medical attention, while crisis-response professionals also provided support to his family.
His family later confirmed that he remained hospitalized under Florida’s Baker Act and described his condition as “serious but stable.”
As The Blast previously reported, Hilton’s team revealed that he suffered “significant blood loss” and additional injuries requiring surgery.
His relatives also cautioned that his “treatment and recovery will be a long process,” while communication with him remained extremely limited and primarily restricted to immediate family and those involved in his medical care.
Still, one of the most significant developments came when Hilton was able to communicate with his mother.
According to a longtime family friend, he told her, “I need help,” while recovering in the hospital, as The Blast reported.
Hilton Had Already Moved His Kids Closer To Family

The decision to temporarily entrust his children to Lavandeira also comes just months after Hilton made a major life change partly motivated by family.
Earlier this year, the blogger relocated from Las Vegas to his native Miami with his three children following an alarming medical ordeal.
In March, Hilton spent 21 days hospitalized after developing severe sepsis stemming from a perforated ulcer. His recovery was later complicated by a deep vein thrombosis in his leg.
The near-death experience appeared to change his priorities.
Hilton subsequently explained that being closer to extended family had become more important, prompting the move back to Florida. However, he acknowledged weeks before his latest hospitalization that the transition had been emotionally challenging, describing himself as “overwhelmed” and “in a bit of a spiral.”
Perez Hilton Has Long Made Fatherhood Central To His Life
The temporary custody decision is particularly significant given how prominently fatherhood has featured in Hilton’s public life.
Hilton became a father to Mario in 2013 and later welcomed daughters Mia and Mayte, building his family through surrogacy.
His mother has also been a visible presence throughout that journey. When Hilton announced Mayte’s arrival in 2017, he shared a hospital photograph featuring both his newborn daughter and Lavandeira.
Now, the woman who has been alongside him through major chapters of his family life is assuming a more formal role while he recovers.
For the moment, the court documents make the family’s priorities clear: Hilton is focusing on treatment, his mother is taking responsibility for the children, and relatives are seeking the privacy they believe Mario, Mia, and Mayte need while their father works toward recovery.

Ryan Lochte’s Ex Shares Painful Memories After Divorce
Kayla Reid and Ryan Lochte spent the last year speaking negatively about each other in the press after announcing their plans to divorce.
Kayla alleged that the 12x Olympic medalist cheated on her, while Ryan accused the former Playboy Playmate of tearing him down so much that it affected his mental health.
After finalizing their split, Ryan has moved on with a new lover, Molly, and Kayla is shedding more light on what she says were some of the darkest years of her life when they were together.
Reid and Lochte married in 2018 after dating for two years. Despite their years together in the spotlight and their image as a polished, well-mannered couple, Reid said their relationship was far from perfect behind closed doors.
Speaking with PEOPLE, Reid reflected on her marriage with Lochte and pointed back to a journal she kept while they were together. She recalled writing a specific note in that journal that read, “Our marriage is a ticking time bomb.”
After finalizing their divorce in July 2026, Reid told the outlet that she’s grateful to be in a better place. “I don’t think it was a love anyone deserved,” she said.
Kayla Reid Said She Was Confused During Her Relationship With Ryan Lochte

Lochte and Reid’s marriage struggles were spotlighted on social media over the last year, according to several reports from The Blast. During Reid’s chat with PEOPLE, she told the outlet that there were several things in her marriage with Lochte that she didn’t approve of, including his alleged drinking problems, drug use, and incessant cheating.
Reid stated that the chaos was so constant that she sometimes thought she was living in an “alternate universe” and could never tell whether her perception was reality. Reid explained that, at times, she thought she was living a “good” life. “But there were a lot of things that I didn’t know were happening. It’s a question that I actually have: What was real? What wasn’t?” she added.
Ryan Lochte Admits To Making ‘Mistakes’ In His Marriage With Reid

In response to Reid’s latest statements, Lochte admitted to making “mistakes” in his marriage and said he previously spoke out about them to help him move forward. “Looking back, I wasn’t ready to be a husband or the man my family deserved at that point in my life,” he said.
While he admitted he’s “incredibly grateful” for his children, calling them the “greatest gift to come from that chapter of my life,” he vowed not to engage in the “back-and-forth” about his divorce with his ex-wife.
Reid Previously Said She Was Not In A ‘Good Place’ With Lochte

According to a previous report from The Blast, Reid slammed Lochte in the media over his alleged affair with his “mistress.” She also said that her relationship with Lochte following their divorce announcement left them in a bad place.
“I really pray that he becomes the father our kids deserve,” she said candidly, adding that she tries to avoid all communication with Lochte unless it’s absolutely necessary.
Reid’s statement came months after she posted on Instagram about her plans to divorce Lochte. In that post, the Florida-based real estate agent said that deciding to split was a “hard decision” she reached after much prayer and reflection. “I’ve been hesitant to share until I could do so from a place of healing; not from fresh, open wounds,” she said.
Lochte Said ‘Bigger And Better Things’ Are Coming After Getting Engaged To His New Partner
Weeks before finalizing his divorce from Reid, Lochte became engaged to his fiancée, Molly Gillihan. The special moment occurred on June 19, 2026, at a Florida eatery, according to The Blast.
Lochte said that “bigger and better things” were coming to his life following the engagement, including his and Gillihan’s big move to Missouri and his new coaching job as an assistant at a state university.
“We needed a bigger home to support our blended family, and we’re focused on creating a loving, stable environment for all of our children,” Lochte said about the move, adding that his new connection with Gillihan felt natural.
“Everything happens for a reason,” he shared. “And it was God’s way of saying enough is enough between both of you, between me and Kayla, of just being miserable and not happy and not living our best life. So we got separated and now I’m living my best life.”

One reviewer called it a “must-have for everyone’s closet,” adding that it “hugs all the right areas” and “stretches where needed and hugs where the curves are.” Another buyer shared that they receive “compliments all the time,” saying it makes their “waist look smaller” and gives “an illusion of a true waist.”
