Chris Pratt Officially Returns to Prime Video’s ‘Reacher’ Meets ‘Lioness’ Thriller

When you spend your whole life chasing revenge, you’ll run out of people to kill. One of TV’s most relentless Navy SEALs suddenly doesn’t have a to-list left. Fortunately for anyone who enjoys a combination of delightfully picturesque locales and a lust for vengeance rivalled only by Arya Stark, retirement isn’t on the cards for this fella and one of Prime Video‘s biggest series is back for more.

Prime Video just dropped the trailer for The Terminal List Season 2, premiering on October 21, 2026. Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) returns as James Reece for a story based on Jack Carr’s True Believer. Season 2 takes Reece across the Indian Ocean, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe as he uncovers a conspiracy stretching from Moscow to Langley. Pratt, who also executive produces the series, said in a statement:

“This season is a love letter to the special operations community. I’m incredibly proud of the journey we went on and what we were able to put on screen. It was a monumental effort by a lot of people over the course of many years, and I think you can feel that commitment in every frame. Yes, it’s an action thriller, but there’s also real beauty and poetry in it. At its heart, this season is dedicated to the men and women who do this work—the people who operate in the shadows, make extraordinary sacrifices, and rarely ask for recognition. We wanted to honor them and get it right. I couldn’t be more proud of what we made.”

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Who Stars in ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2?

The cast is led by Pratt as James Reece, with Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy) returning as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians) as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim (The Covenant) as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth (Westworld) as Jules Landry.

Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us) joins the series as Freddy Strain, while Costa Ronin (The Americans), Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace), Yul Vazquez (Severance), Martin Sensmeier (1883), Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy), Jeremy Bobb (The Knick), and Shiraz Tzarfati are also among the growing and very international ensemble.

The Terminal List Season 2 premieres all eight episodes October 21 exclusively on Prime Video.

Ed Sheeran’s Music Pulled From Radio Amid Macklemore Fallout

Published

on

Ed Sheeran performs in Madrid

Ed Sheeran’s troubled Loop Tour has suffered another setback after an Irish radio station removed his music from its playlist amid the growing controversy surrounding Macklemore’s departure. Classic Hits Radio said the decision followed complaints from listeners and the withdrawal of several artists who had been scheduled to support Sheeran during the remaining tour dates. The station’s move intensifies the pressure surrounding Sheeran, who has insisted that the decision to remove Macklemore was made by the tour’s promoter and not by him.

Classic Hits Radio has removed Sheeran’s music for the “foreseeable future,” according to The Telegraph. Dave Kelly, group program director at Bay Broadcasting, which operates the station, said the decision was made after careful consideration.

“Our decision to remove Ed Sheeran’s music from the Classic Hits Radio playlist has been carefully considered,” Kelly said. “As an independent Irish-owned radio station, we believe it is important to listen to our audience and to stand alongside Irish artists who have made what is undoubtedly a significant professional decision based on their own convictions.”

Kelly explained that the reaction from listeners and the decisions made by artists associated with the tour ultimately influenced the station. “In light of the strength of feeling expressed by our listeners, and the decisions taken by Irish artists involved in the tour, we believe removing Ed Sheeran’s music from our playlist is the appropriate decision for Classic Hits Radio at this time,” he added.

The controversy began after Macklemore delivered a pro-Palestinian message during a performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The rapper reportedly told people in Gaza and the West Bank that they had not been forgotten. Macklemore was subsequently removed from the Loop Tour after several upcoming venues reportedly objected to his continued involvement.

Following his departure, Aaron Rowe, Finneas, Lukas Graham and Beoga, Sheeran’s backing band, withdrew from the remaining dates and shared messages supporting Macklemore. The departures left Sheeran’s tour facing major changes, with 17 scheduled performances remaining across North and South America.

Macklemore Donates His Tour Earnings

Macklemore announced that he would donate his $1 million in net earnings from the Loop Tour to six organizations supporting Palestinians. “With everything that has happened over the last 48 hours, I want to bring the conversation back to where it belongs: to the Palestinian people who are still being killed, still living under military occupation and still fighting for their freedom,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I will be donating the entire one million of my net earnings from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour to six organizations working directly to support the Palestinian people,” Macklemore added.

The rapper also publicly challenged Robert Kraft, the billionaire owner of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium, to match his donation. Addressing Kraft, Macklemore wrote that “whatever we disagree about, perhaps we can agree on this, Palestinian lives are worth protecting, a Palestinian life is no less valuable than any other life on this Earth”.

Robert Kraft Responds To Macklemore’s Challenge

Kraft said Sheeran had already contacted him about making a humanitarian contribution before Macklemore issued his public challenge. “I have dedicated much of my life to building bridges between all people. I believe deeply that all lives are worth protecting,” Kraft wrote on Instagram.

“Earlier today, before Macklemore challenged me to match his donation, Ed called me and asked me to commit two million to match his donation to aid in the region to fight this humanitarian crisis,” he continued.

Kraft said Sheeran planned to contact additional venue owners in an effort to raise more money. “Ed now plans to reach out to other venue owners, and our goal is to continue to work together to build bridges,” he explained.

Kraft also defended his record of supporting programs involving Palestinians and Israelis. “In addition, I’d like the people who are speaking in support of the Palestinian people to know that for decades, I have supported efforts that create opportunity for Palestinians and have brought young Palestinians and Israelis together to build businesses, create jobs and forge relationships,” he added.

Kraft previously said the decision to block Macklemore from appearing at Gillette Stadium was not solely related to his advocacy for Palestinians. Instead, he cited a “broader history of anti-Semitic rhetoric and imagery that we believe has been deeply offensive and hurtful to the Jewish community”.

Ed Sheeran Says He Did Not Remove Macklemore

Sheeran addressed the mounting backlash on social media, insisting that Macklemore’s departure was beyond his control. He said “upcoming tour dates had communicated that they would pull the shows if he was still supporting”.

Sheeran maintained that Macklemore’s removal was the promoter’s decision and denied personally ordering it. The 35-year-old singer insisted that he was “not complicit” and said he has his “personal views on this devastating conflict.”

Sheeran also said he was “appalled by the conflict between Israel and Palestine” and continued to respect Macklemore “as an artist.”

His next performance is scheduled for September 19 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Graham and Rowe had been expected to open the show before withdrawing.

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Tyra Banks is giving the girls something to talk about! The supermodel had social media doing a double-take after popping out with a fresh new look that instantly had fans sounding off. From the hair to the glam, Tyra clearly knew the assignment — but it was one detail in particular that had everybody asking, “Wait… is that Tyra?!”

RELATED: Tyra Banks Reportedly Files Lawsuit Against Netflix Following Release Of ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Documentary

Tyra’s New Look Has The Internet Doing Double Takes

The model shared a dump of photos to Instagram rocking a colorful dress, an ombré-style blonde ’do with dark roots, and a flawless face beat that had folks seeing a little Beyoncé resemblance. The new hairstyle came courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Arrogant Tae, and judging by the shots, Tyra was fully in her supermodel bag — serving pose after pose and proving she still knows exactly how to work a camera. The carousel was paired with the caption, “Hi, I’m Tyra, and I got something I gotta talk about.”

The Comment Section Was Gagged!

Fans quickly ran to The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section to share their thoughts on Tyra Banks’ new look. Some admitted they didn’t even realize it was Tyra at first, while others urged her to keep whoever is responsible for that hair on speed dial. Meanwhile, a few commenters said the supermodel looked like she stepped straight out of the ’90s with the throwback-inspired glam.

One Instagram user @candacenmack said, Whatever she did, give me two. She looks GOOD!”

What’s Tyra Been Up To?

For some context, the last major update involving Tyra Banks came back in June, when she reportedly took legal action against Netflix. As previously reported, Tyra filed a defamation lawsuit alleging that Netflix used only 16 minutes of her more-than-three-hour interview and manipulated the footage to push what she says was a false and defamatory narrative. The supermodel is reportedly seeking a jury trial to determine damages, with her lawsuit stating that she participated in the documentary because she wanted to candidly address both the successes and shortcomings of ‘America’s Next Top Model.’

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Roomies, Kandi Burruss is making it clear that there are some parts of her former marriage to Todd Tucker that she believes should have stayed behind closed doors. The singer and reality star is now speaking out after Tucker publicly discussed intimate details from their 11-year marriage.

RELATED: Todd Tucker Gets Real About Life After Divorce From Kandi Burruss & Reveals The One Thing Riley Wants From Him (VIDEOS)

Kandi Basically Said, “Play With Somebody Else!”

In a statement to PEOPLE, Kandi said Tucker’s recent actions have only reinforced her decision to end their marriage.

“A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” Burruss shared. “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that—private. His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”

How Did We Get Here?

Tucker recently dropped the trailer for the film, where he opened up about his relationship with Kandi and made a candid revelation about their sex life. In the trailer, Tucker was asked about whether the former couple had threesomes during their marriage. “We did. I would say for most of our marriage we did,” Tucker said. The comments caught attention online, prompting Kandi to address what she describes as a decision to publicly sensationalize something that was once private between husband and wife.

The Internet Can’t Mind Its Business

Meanwhile, Roomies wasted no time running to TSR’s Instagram comment section and running it UP with their thoughts on the situation. Some folks pointed out that Kandi has previously spoken about the couple’s intimate life publicly, while others argued that Todd was also part of the marriage and has the right to share his own experiences, with some saying women should be careful about building up a man only to later deal with the fallout after the relationship ends.

Hans Zimmer Reveals the A-List Stars Who “Bullied” Him Into Going on Tour [Exclusive]

Published

on

Hans Zimmer featured image

It’s hard to believe, given that the man now regularly fills some of the world’s biggest arenas, but Hans Zimmer, one of the greatest composers of our time, may actually have a touch of stage fright. The composer behind some of the most famous scores to ever grace the big screen was perfectly comfortable letting his music speak for itself in multiplexes, but when it came to performing for audiences? That was a different matter entirely. In fact, getting him onto a stage required something approaching an intervention, and two of his extremely famous friends had some ideas.

Speaking exclusively with Collider, Zimmer revealed that Johnny Marr and Pharrell Williams effectively cornered him in his own studio and playfully “bullied” him into performing, arguing that it was time he shared his music directly with his audience. Stubborn as ever, Zimmer spent the next hour simply refusing until he was given a proposition that was too good to say no. He told Collider:

“I think I might have to drop some names here. It was probably about 12 years ago. Johnny Marr, the great Johnny Marr, and Pharrell Williams, two of my best friends, sat me down in this room on this red couch behind me. They sat a bit too close, so I couldn’t get up and I couldn’t escape. They said, ‘Hans, you’ve been sitting in this room for long enough. I think it’s time you actually looked the audience in the eye, did things in real time, and stopped hiding behind the screen.’ I said, ‘No, I can’t do that. I’ve got stage fright.’ But they kept pushing. Those two are quite powerful, persuasive guys. I kept saying no, and after an hour, they sort of gave up.”

Marr left the room. Williams, however, had one final trick up his sleeve: “Johnny walked out the door, and Pharrell leaned in and said, ‘I’m doing the Grammys this year. Why don’t you come and play guitar for me?’ Only an idiot is going to say no,” laughed Zimmer. “So I played guitar for Pharrell at the Grammys, and it was really good fun. After that, I went to Johnny and Pharrell and said, ‘Okay, I’ll go out there. I’ll do it. But for the first few shows, you have to come along and babysit me.’ So for those first few shows, I had Pharrell and Johnny with me.”

More than a decade later, there’s even a lovely bit of continuity. Zimmer now performs with Marr’s son, Nile Marr. “Now I have Nile Marr, Johnny’s son, with me, which is great, so it all stays in the family. We’re very international, and it’s people playing on these scores who know them intimately. Because they know them so well, they have the courage to throw a few things out, change a few things, and experiment. There’s something so different about standing in front of people, and they were right. It’s great. It’s important that you actually look an audience in the eye. At the same time, I have no safeguards, so it feels like we’re just having dinner and a bit of a chat.”

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Hans Zimmer’s Audience Has Become Part of the Band

When Collider asked what audiences gain from seeing the music performed rather than simply hearing it in a movie theater, Zimmer explained that his current ensemble is a lot smaller — intentionally so — than the orchestras he’s previously used for scores, but crucially, it’s filled with musicians he trusts. He explained:

“I don’t have the sheer number that I’ve used on some of these scores. I’ve got 19 people on stage at the moment, whereas my scores can be anything from just me playing the piano to 100 people in an orchestra. But I have 19 extraordinary musicians who I love. Lisa Gerrard, who I adore, and my friend Lebo M, who is the voice of The Lion King. I mean, he is The Lion King. Then there’s Guthrie Govan, who happens to be, to my mind, the best guitarist in the world. Being surrounded by friends and making music is wonderful, and at the same time, it feels like the audience becomes part of the band and part of the group of friends.”

That’s particularly fitting now. Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level has become one of the biggest productions of Zimmer’s touring career, with 50 sold-out European shows across 17 countries drawing around 600,000 people. Zimmer will bring the production to North America for the first time beginning February 17, 2027, in Hartford, Connecticut, before traveling across the United States and Canada through April.

Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level begins its North American run on February 17, 2027. Tickets go on general sale September 25 at 10 a.m. local time. Stay tuned at Collider for more.

Car Influencer James Wehr Was Driving During Crash, Pulled Over Hours Before

Car influencer James Wehr was caught in an “extremely hazardous condition” when he crashed his 2019 McLaren, killing him and Alexis “Lexi” Kramer, an attorney for his widow claims.

Lawyer Corey Higgins from iAccidentLawyer released an Instagram video on Wednesday, September 16, announcing that he is representing James’ wife, Emma Wehr, following the influencer’s death in a motor accident in Irvine, California, on Sunday, September 13.

“At the time of the collision, a significant amount of water was present on the roadway on an otherwise clear night, creating an extremely hazardous condition for any motorist,” Higgins claimed in the video. “The source of that water is yet to be identified, and our firm is actively investigating how that water came to be there, how long that condition had existed and who may ultimately bear responsibility.”

Higgins continued, “As part of that investigation, we are also examining the crashworthiness of the vehicle that James was driving, including how that vehicle and its safety systems performed during the collision and whether the vehicle provided the level of occupant protection that should be reasonably expected under the circumstances.”

Resident Evil First Reactions Praise Zach Cregger’s “Gloriously Gory” Reboot

The first reactions to Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil have arrived, and the filmmaker behind Barbarian and Weapons may have another horror hit on his hands.

Early reactions to Sony Pictures’ latest attempt at bringing the iconic video game franchise to the big screen are overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with critics praising the film’s gore, humor, scares and commitment to the survival-horror atmosphere of the games.

Cregger’s Resident Evil follows Austin Abrams as a medical courier who finds himself caught in a zombie outbreak while attempting to make a delivery to Raccoon City General Hospital. Cregger co-wrote the screenplay alongside Shay Hatten, with Zach Cherry, Kali Reis and Paul Walter Hauser also starring.

While the film tells an original story rather than adapting one of the games directly, the early word suggests Cregger has captured what makes Resident Evil work.

Flickering Myth critic EJ Moreno called the movie a “true horror blockbuster,” adding:

“Zach Cregger goes bigger, scarier, and at his most fun.”

Moreno also said Resident Evil is the type of movie that should be experienced “on the biggest screen with a big crowd.”

Mark Cassidy offered similarly strong praise, arguing that despite not featuring familiar characters or storylines from the games, the movie successfully taps into their relentless tension.

“Zach Cregger has actually delivered the most faithful take yet.”

Cassidy described the film as “very bloody, very funny” and revealed that it managed to make him jump three times.

Kellvin Chavez was even more enthusiastic, praising a movie that apparently wastes little time getting started.

“Zach Cregger delivers relentless suspense, gloriously gory action.”

Chavez also highlighted what he described as twisted, The Thing-like creature designs and called the movie “pure survival horror.”

Film critic Tristian Circa ‘89 praised the balance between horror and comedy, saying the movie is “just as intense and horrifying as you’d expect” while still incorporating humor. He also singled out Abrams as an everyman protagonist whose natural charm makes him easy to root for.

Variety’s Jordan Moreau delivered perhaps the strongest reaction of the bunch, calling Resident Evil:

“One of the best video game adaptations ever made.”

Moreau also called it one of the best recent horror movies and praised Abrams’ performance as he stumbles his way through the zombie outbreak.

One of the biggest questions surrounding Cregger’s take on the franchise has been his decision to tell an original story.

The new movie does not center on established Resident Evil characters such as Leon S. Kennedy or Jill Valentine. Cregger has previously acknowledged the criticism surrounding that decision, but these early reactions suggest his film may compensate by remaining faithful to the atmosphere, tension and survival-horror experience of the games.

The franchise has already produced seven live-action theatrical films, beginning with the Milla Jovovich-led Resident Evil in 2002 and most recently returning to theaters with Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City in 2021. The films have collectively earned more than $1.2 billion worldwide.

Now Cregger gets his opportunity to take audiences back to Raccoon City.

Resident Evil hits theaters September 18.

Jelly Roll Says He Could Walk Away From Music For Good

CRS 2026 - CRS Presents Jelly Roll With Humanitarian Award

For many artists, reaching the pinnacle of success only fuels the desire for more. For Jelly Roll, however, the opposite may be true.

The country star is at a career high, collecting major awards, earning industry recognition, and securing a place among Nashville’s most celebrated performers.

Yet instead of focusing on what comes next in music, the singer is openly contemplating whether his future could lie somewhere entirely different.

Jelly Roll surprised fans with a candid reflection on his future while speaking backstage at the Grand Ole Opry during an interview with Y’all Access Radio’s Kelly Sutton

Rather than discussing new goals or career milestones, the Grammy-winning performer revealed that he felt he had already accomplished everything he once hoped to achieve in the music industry.

The 41-year-old artist explained that he was now looking beyond personal ambition and focusing on spiritual direction.

“Everything that Jason or Jelly Roll wanted to do in the music business, I’ve done now, so at this point I really need to go talk to God and see if he wants me to stick around, or what he wants me to do next,” he said.

Jelly Roll suggested that if he felt called to a completely different purpose, he would have no problem walking away from fame altogether.

“If God tells me to go work at a homeless shelter in Paducah, Ky., I’m outta here,” added Jelly. “Y’all will never see me again.”

The singer pointed to the remarkable list of achievements he has already checked off, saying, “He gave me everything I ever wanted, man — Grammys, ACMs, CMAs, I’m a member of the Grand Ole Opry, like — God has done it.”

Jelly Roll’s comments quickly sparked an emotional reaction online, with many Facebook fans encouraging the singer to remain in music even as he considers what comes next.

While supporters respected his desire to follow his faith, many argued that his impact on people’s lives is evidence that he is already fulfilling a greater purpose through his work.

Several fans pointed to Jelly Roll’s longstanding belief in God, agreeing that he should continue seeking spiritual guidance while reminding him of the influence he has on others.

One supporter wrote, “You can do anything as long as you keep God in your heart. He will direct you what to do for what he wants you to do.”

Others focused on the connection he has built with his audience over the years. One fan urged the country star not to view awards and career milestones as a reason to step away, writing, “He wants you to keep performing for the thousands of FANS that love you so much. Don’t quit because you have awards etc…. do it for you but please don’t leave your fans.”

Among the most heartfelt responses was a plea that reflected what many fans appeared to be feeling. “Please stay. You’ve made such an impact on so many people. Of course, follow God’s will..” another commenter wrote.

For fans hoping Jelly Roll’s comments about walking away from music were simply a moment of reflection, the 41-year-old had already revealed plans that point toward a significant step back from the spotlight.

During a concert in Salt Lake City, Jelly Roll stunned the crowd by explaining that his Colorado Springs performance would be his last show for quite some time.

Rather than talking about new tour dates or future appearances, he spoke candidly about the need to slow down after years of nonstop work.

“This has truly been a lifetime experience for me,” he told fans per PEOPLE. “And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two. I’m fixing to take some time off and heal. Thank you for the opportunity.”

The announcement followed one of the busiest periods of his career. Since breaking into the country mainstream, Jelly Roll has earned Grammy Awards, ACM Awards, CMA honors, multi-platinum singles, and a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Beautifully Broken

Jelly Roll Says Donald Trump Jokes ‘Messed With People’s Heads’

Just as discussion about his future intensified, Jelly Roll found himself responding to backlash over jokes he made while guest-hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

As The Blast reported, the controversy began after Jelly Roll referred to President Donald Trump as “full of sh-t” while discussing the president’s public statements.

He also mocked Trump’s weight and joked about the president’s involvement in plans surrounding an IndyCar race in Washington, D.C., comments that quickly spread across social media and conservative media circles.

The reaction was immediate. Some viewers applauded Jelly Roll for treating politicians like any other public figure ripe for late-night comedy, while others slammed his comments.

When Jelly Roll eventually addressed the controversy, he made it clear that nobody had pressured him into making the jokes.

“I was just telling it like it is,” he said per EW, rejecting suggestions that he had been fed lines or forced to take a political position.

The singer also admitted he was genuinely surprised by the intensity of the response. “It messed with people’s heads,” Jelly Roll added, later describing the uproar as “the weirdest thing I’ve ever done to stun people” considering his history as a former felon, recovering addict, and heavily tattooed performer who has spent years defying expectations.

Bunnie Xo Revealed Just How Deeply Her Split From Jelly Roll Affected Her

While Jelly Roll was dealing with public criticism, his ex-wife Bunnie Xo was opening up about the painful reality of life after their divorce.

Appearing on Jenna Bush Hager’s “Open Book” podcast on September 3, Bunnie revealed that the breakup affected far more than her emotions.

The podcast host said the split took such a severe physical toll on her that members of her team were forced to step in during some of her lowest moments.

“There was moments when my team had to pick me up off the floor and give me IVs,” she noted, explaining that she struggled to eat after the couple separated.

The weight loss that followed was dramatic. “I was eating baby food to get by. I lost 20 pounds,” Bunnie revealed before adding, “Heartbreak, man, it’s the best freaking diet.”

The former couple had been married for nearly a decade before Jelly Roll filed for divorce in May, with the proceedings finalized in July. According to Bunnie, however, she has no interest in allowing the breakup to define the rest of her life.

“That’s all you can do. When life hands you lemons, make freaking lemonade,” she said while discussing her efforts to move forward.
