Days of our Lives 2-Week Spoilers Feb 2-13: JJ Points Fingers in Confrontation & Kate Reaches Her Breaking Point

Published

on

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) - Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow)

Days of Our Lives two-week spoilers for February 2nd through the 13th divulge JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) making an accusation and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) being completely aggravated by something.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ and Gwen’s Plot to Frame Dimitri

Monday, February 2nd, we’ve got Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) telling EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) about her plot with Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) to get rid of Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte) by framing him for the kidnappings. That’ll work for EJ since Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and others are looking to pin it on him. So, Dimitri is a much better fall guy.

Rafe interrogates Liam for more information on the kidnappings. They have a money trail that goes from Peter Blake (Jason Brooks) right to Liam’s bank account, so they know he has answers. It looks like he is going to come clean because he is a single parent and cannot afford to go to prison.

Liam describes a guy with a scar on his face and some dirty kind of facial scruff to the Salem PD sketch artist. It doesn’t look like Peter Blake, though. Meanwhile, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is questioned by Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). I wonder if it’s about whether he’s going to go back to being CEO at DiMera or if she could be just checking in. I’m sure Theo will enjoy it no matter what because he’s got a crush on Gabi.

Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) listens to Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan) vent. He’s fed up with all these baseless accusations. But then JJ is there making accusations, saying Jeremy tried to kill Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) twice. Julie jumps in and says, “You cannot think that’s true.” JJ says he doesn’t want to think it’s true, but he is making those accusations.

There’s no evidence tying Jeremy to either attempt on Alex’s life. There were tons of other people at the Horton Festival for Halloween, and nobody witnessed the food tampering. Elsewhere, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) are arguing over what to do about Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) psychiatric treatment because they’re not seeing eye to eye on it at all.

DOOL Spoilers: Vivian Alamain Returns and the EJ DiMera Honey Trap

Tuesday, February 3rd, we’ve got Dimitri daring Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to give into his feelings and just let go. But will he give in to the devilishly handsome Dimitri, or will Leo run to Gwen and again ask her to please get Dimitri gone? EJ and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) share a tense moment. We know there is a kiss coming for them. I wonder if EJ thinks Cat is really into him or if she’s pulling a honey trap to get info for the ISA.

Rafe and Eli question Vivian Alamain in Alamainia. We’re going to have three episodes with Louise Sorel. Rafe shows up with Eli at Vivian’s place, and she does not look happy to see Rafe at all. That same day, Gwen and Vivian talk about their plan and kick it into high gear. Vivian reassures Gwen that everything is going according to their plan. Also, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) admits she made a mistake by saying that Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) was still alive.

Wednesday, February 4th, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) gets an apology from Liam. I’m sure it’s about kidnapping Theo. I wonder if Abe is going to tell Liam he is done tutoring him and he just needs to stay away from Theo, Abe, and everybody. Vivian tells a story that’s very convincing, probably about Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) death. Telling a tale to Rafe Hernandez and Eli will be what happens because they get new info while in Alamainia.

They want to confirm Stefan’s death and know if Vivian was the one conspiring with Peter. This may be when Vivian throws Dimitri under the bus. Back in Salem, Gabi is stunned by Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), and he may be taking their relationship to another level. It looks like they are heading out on a trip soon.

The Phoenix Rises on Days: Stefano DiMera’s Memorial Service

Thursday, February 5th, Gabi needs some comfort from Arianna Horton and Rafe Hernandez now that they have seemingly confirmed that Stefano is dead. Gabi may need to process those feelings. Plus, Rafe has questions for Kristen DiMera. I wonder if it’s about the Alamainia intel or her offer to help him take down EJ.

Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) play nice up at Bayview. Dr. Gregory is there. Sophia writes a note to Holly that seems nicer than her last hate note. Tate Black Leo Howard) helps Brady Black get through to his little sister, Rachel. We may find more about her sentence if she sees the judge this week.

Friday, February 6th, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) share a moment that is quite upsetting to Kate but hopefully, it’s nothing romantic. Theo has a request that stuns his dad, Abe and it may be something to do with Stefano’s memorial. We know that Theo is attending, and it may be over Abe’s protest.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad Tries to Keep the Peace

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) wants EJ and Kristen DiMera to stop their squabbling. It looks like they could make a scene before Stefano memorial. At the memorial, EJ says that despite his flaws, Stefano loved them all and they will not let the House of DiMera fall. It looks like EJ may put on Stefano’s infamous Phoenix ring.

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) gets a warning from Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), possibly to skip the memorial because she doesn’t want Stefano’s death to make Johnny vulnerable to getting closer to EJ again.  At the memorial, we’re going to see Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), EJ, Kristen, and Theo all there at the DiMera mansion.

It looks like Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) may be there as well, as she is back in Salem. EJ tells Johnny that Chanel is carrying a DiMera. Johnny claps back that he has a son who is already a DiMera. I don’t know if EJ is discounting adopted DiMeras like Kristen, Peter Blake, and Tony.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Brady Black and Sarah Horton Commit While Alex Kiriakis and Stephanie Johnson Elope

During the week of February 9th through the 13th, we’ve got Brady and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) deciding they’re going to push forward and be together. They want to start a real relationship despite Kristen pushing them apart and despite knowing Rachel going to have a tough time with it. To be fair, Brady is following doctor’s orders, who said, “Don’t let Rachel run your love life.”

Alex and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) make a stunning decision about their wedding. I wonder if they’re going to decide to actually elope. We are also seeing Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) plan to help trap the stalker on Days of our Lives. Gabi and Philip are heading to Miami soon, and things are going to get more intense on their trip.

Cat could catch true feelings for EJ. He is in a really vulnerable spot because of Stefano DiMera’s confirmed death, the memorial, Johnny rejecting him, and all the kidnappings. I feel like EJ is in a tough spot in his life, and Cat could really leverage that. Johnny may quit DiMera because of EJ’s comments about Trey. I think that’s going to depend if Theo is ready to take back the CEO reins.

February DOOL Sweeps: A Shocking Resurrection and Mean Girl Holly Jonas

Gwen is desperate to get Dimitri either locked up for those kidnappings or exiled back to Alamainia. We’ll find out more about Gwen and Vivian’s plan as it unfolds the following week. Sophia lied about making up with Holly Jonas, and we’re going to see Sophia running amuck soon in Salem, targeting Holly, Tate, baby Trey, Chanel, and Johnny.

Kate continues to grieve Stefano, which puts Roman Brady in a tight spot. He is happy that Stefano is truly deceased, but he’s trying to be understanding to Kate. The countdown to the test tube pod person’s resurrection is coming soon. Watch for Gwen and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to heat up and hit the sheets during February sweeps.

Plus, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve are celebrating their Valentine’s Day wedding anniversary very soon. Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and Abe are also celebrating Valentine’s Day, but their happiness may be short-lived because of what EJ and Rafe are plotting to do to their marriage via this resurrection.

Arianna is going to kiss bad boy Liam. She seems to have a type. Meanwhile, Holly is about to turn into a sorority sister nightmare—blonder, with way too much makeup and way too much attitude. Ari and Tate are not going to appreciate Holly’s new mean girl vibe that’s coming soon.

Hulu’s Hitman Crime Thriller Is Officially Returning For Another Season

Published

on

03268427_poster_w780.jpg

Patrick Dempsey has been around in movies and TV shows for almost 40 years now, following his early breakout role in the 1987 teen romantic comedy, Can’t Buy Me Love, but he also has plenty of other notable roles under his belt. One of his most famous performances that immediately comes to mind is playing Dr. Derek Shepherd in 247 episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, the beloved medical procedural starring Ellen Pompeo that’s been on the air for over 20 years. He first played the character in 2005 before suiting up for the final time in 2021. He’s also famous for playing Dylan in the 2011 sci-fi blockbuster, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, which grossed over $1.1 billion at the box office. He even made his Dexter debut in the now-canceled prequel, Original Sin, which is streaming on Paramount+.

More recently, however, Dempsey has returned to TV with his new network crime thriller, Memory of a Killer, which co-stars Michael Imperioli, a long-time actor on The Sopranos. The first two episodes of Memory of a Killer premiered back at the end of January, and the show just wrapped up with an explosive finale a few days ago that has fans around the world questioning what could happen next. In the finale, Angelo’s work and personal life, which he’s been working all season to keep separate, finally collide in one final confrontation with The Ferryman. Less than three days removed from the Season 1 finale of Memory of a Killer, news broke yesterday evening that the show has been renewed for Season 2. The premiere of the show has scored over 16 million viewers over the last few months, making it one of Fox’s biggest premieres in history, so the decision to renew was likely an easy one.

Your Assignment Has Been Made
You Belong In…

Your answers have pointed to one fictional hospital above all others. This is the ward your instincts, your temperament, and your particular brand of dysfunction were built for.

Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center

The Pitt

You are built for the most unsparing version of emergency medicine television has ever shown — one that puts you inside a single fifteen-hour shift and doesn’t let you look away.

  • You need your work to be real, not romanticised — meaning over drama, honesty over aesthetics.
  • You find purpose inside the work itself, not in the chaos surrounding it.
  • You’ve made peace with the fact that this job takes from you constantly, and gives back in ways that are harder to name.
  • Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center demands exactly that kind of person — and you would not want to be anywhere else.

County General Hospital, Chicago

ER

You are the person who keeps the whole floor running — not the most brilliant in the room, but possibly the most essential.

  • You show up, do the work, absorb the losses, and come back the next day without needing the job to be anything other than what it is.
  • You care about patients as individual human beings, not as cases to solve or dramas to live through.
  • You believe in the system even when it fails you — and you understand that emergency medicine is about holding the line just long enough.
  • ER is television about endurance. You have it.

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Seattle

Grey’s Anatomy

You came to medicine with your whole self — your ambition, your emotions, your relationships, your history — and you have never quite managed to leave any of it at the door.

  • You feel things fully and form deep attachments to the people you work with.
  • Your personal and professional lives are permanently, chaotically entangled — and that entanglement drives both your greatest disasters and your most remarkable saves.
  • You understand that extraordinary medicine often happens at the intersection of clinical skill and profound human connection.
  • It’s messy at Grey Sloan. You would not have it any other way.

Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, NJ

House

You are drawn to the problem above everything else — the symptom that doesn’t fit, the diagnosis hiding underneath the obvious one.

  • You’re not primarily motivated by the patient as a person — though you are capable of caring, even if you’d deny it.
  • You work best when the stakes are highest and the standard answer is wrong.
  • Princeton-Plainsboro exists to house one extraordinary, impossible mind — and everyone around that mind is there because they’re smart enough to keep up.
  • The only way forward here is to think harder than everyone else in the room. That is exactly what you do.

Sacred Heart Hospital, California

Scrubs

You understand that medicine is tragic and absurd in almost equal measure — and that the only sane response is to hold both of those things at the same time.

  • You are warm, self-aware, and funnier than most people in your field.
  • You use humour to get through terrible moments — and at Sacred Heart, that’s not a flaw, it’s a survival strategy.
  • You lean on the people around you and let them lean back. The laughter and the grief are genuinely inseparable here.
  • Scrubs is a show about learning to become someone worthy of the job. You are still very much in the middle of that process — which is exactly right.

What is ‘Memory of a Killer’ About?

The official synopsis for Memory of a Killer reads as follows:

“When hitman Angelo is hit with early-onset Alzheimer’s, his worlds collide, putting his family in danger.”

Memory of a Killer is based on the novel De zaak Alzheimer’s by Jeff Geeraerts and Carl Joos, and it was written and created for TV by Tracey Malone and Ed Whitmore. Plot details about Season 2 are being kept under wraps for now, but after such a strong debut season on Fox, it’s a safe bet the network wants to see the show return as quickly as possible.

‘Dune 3’ Is Already Sold Out 9 Months Before Release

Published

on

dune-part-three-poster.jpg

The 2026 box office is already having a much healthier year than the last one, and that’s made the looming December showdown between Dune: Part Three and Avengers: Doomsday feel even bigger. According to Box Office Mojo’s year-to-date chart, the domestic box office has already climbed past $2 billion as of April 7, reaching about $2.01 billion. That’s well ahead of where 2025 was at the same point, when the domestic total sat at roughly $1.65 billion.

There’s still a whole summer movie season to get through first, obviously, but December 18 is already shaping up to be one of the wildest release dates Hollywood has booked in years. Warner Bros. lists Dune: Part Three for a December 18, 2026 theatrical release, while Disney has also confirmed Avengers: Doomsday for the exact same day.

And even though both films are still eight months away, Dune: Part Three has already started making noise in a very real way. IMAX has put tickets on sale for its 70mm film screenings of the movie, and the official listing already shows multiple sold-out locations, including major venues in Los Angeles and New York. ComicBook also reported that one resale ticket on eBay reached $999.99, which says a lot about how badly some fans want to lock in that format early.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

How Good Is ‘Dune’?

The series is acclaimed for a reason. Villeneuve’s masterful direction, pitch-perfect CGI, and outstanding performances by the cast have made these more than just niche sci-fi. Collider’s Therese Lacson backed this up, stating:

“Villeneuve has set up a lot and I left Dune: Part Two excited for more of this story, especially with surprising cameos that hint at a fantastic future. I’ve criticized a lot of this movie, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a joy to watch on screen. Villeneuve has achieved the impossible, and I’m sure he’s converted many people into becoming Dune fans. But, I can’t help but think that this is how I felt in 2021 when I first saw Part One. Will Dune: Part Two become a pivotal part of a movie franchise or a harbinger of worse things to come?”

Dune: Part Three is due to release on December 18, 2026.

Amazon MGM Developing RoboCop Reboot With Big Franchise Plans : Coastal House Media

Amazon MGM Developing RoboCop Reboot With Big Franchise Plans : Coastal House Media

The internet’s most unsettling nightmare is about to step fully into the spotlight.

A brand-new trailer for Backrooms, A24’s upcoming horror film based on the viral creepypasta phenomenon, is set to drop tomorrow and fans are already bracing for what could be one of the most disturbing films of the year.

From YouTube Horror to the Big Screen

Backrooms isn’t just another horror movie. It’s the evolution of a digital legend.

The film is directed by Kane Parsons, the creator behind the massively popular Backrooms found-footage series that exploded on YouTube. What started as a low-budget analog horror concept quickly turned into a global phenomenon, with millions drawn to its eerie liminal space aesthetic and unsettling sense of isolation.

Now, A24 is bringing that same nightmare fuel to theaters.

What the Movie Is About

While details remain intentionally cryptic, the story follows a therapist who ventures into a strange alternate dimension after her patient mysteriously disappears.

That dimension is the Backrooms, an endless maze of empty office-like spaces filled with flickering lights, yellow walls, and something far more sinister lurking just out of sight.

If the original concept taught fans anything, it’s this:
you are not supposed to be there.

Backrooms [credit: A24]

Stacked Cast and Big Studio Backing

The film features a strong cast for such an experimental horror concept, including:

  • Chiwetel Ejiofor
  • Renate Reinsve
  • Mark Duplass
  • Finn Bennett
  • Lukita Maxwell
  • Avan Jogia

Behind the scenes, the project is backed by A24 along with major production companies like Atomic Monster, signaling that this isn’t just a niche internet adaptation, it’s a full-scale cinematic event.

Release Date and What to Expect

Backrooms is officially set to hit theaters on May 29, 2026, positioning it as one of A24’s most anticipated horror releases of the year.

The teaser already gave fans a glimpse of its unsettling tone, but tomorrow’s trailer is expected to dive deeper into the story and possibly reveal the creatures and deeper lore that made the original series so terrifying.

Why This Could Be Huge

This isn’t just another horror release. It’s part of a growing trend where internet-born stories are evolving into mainstream cinema.

But Backrooms stands out.

It taps into a very specific kind of fear, the uncanny feeling of being somewhere familiar yet completely wrong. Early footage suggests the film is leaning heavily into psychological dread rather than relying on traditional jump scares.

If it lands, it could become the next breakout horror hit in A24’s lineup.

Final Thoughts

With the full trailer dropping tomorrow, Backrooms is about to go from online legend to mainstream obsession.

And if the studio nails the tone, don’t be surprised if this becomes the horror movie everyone’s talking about heading into summer.

More On Pooh Shiesty Recently Going Back To Jail

Furthermore, the lawyers seem to imply that the alleged events are “not what they seem.” Amid this, 21 Savage has turned heads for what some believe is his apparent support of Pooh Shiesty.

‘Bob’s Burgers’ Celebrates 300 Episodes With Must-See New Loungefly Collection [Exclusive]

Published

on

When Bob’s Burgers returned for Season 16 last fall, it officially crossed the 300th episode milestone, an incredible feat for any series. Today, Collider is thrilled to team with Loungefly as the foremost fandom-merch brand launches a stunning new Bob’s Burgers collection to celebrate over 300 delicious episodes of erotic friend fiction, wonderfully punny burger specials of the day (“Baby You Can Chive My Car” is still a classic), Teddy hoping to desperately become Bob and Linda’s third, Gene’s keyboard skills, Louise’s adventures with Kuchi Kopi, and some seriously unexpected tears.

Launching today, Loungefly’s Bob’s Burgers collection is filled with easter eggs and must-haves for fans of the beloved sitcom. Today we’re delighted to bring you a first look at the new items, which include a classic mini-backpack, an over the shoulder bag, and a blind box selection of minibackpack charms. The true showstopper of the collection is the mini backpack shaped like everyone’s favorite burger restaurant, which retails at $90 USD. Loungefly packed the front and back full of iconic Bob’s Burgers imagery, from the lime green and yellow exterior, to the classic sign, to the family gathered out from. Take a peek at the back of the restaurant, where two raccoons (perhaps Little King Trash Mouth and his husband, Gary, or even Linda’s frenemy, Big Baby Pudding Snatcher) can be seen snacking away on top of the alley dumpster. Mini flying burgers — a nod to a painting displayed in the restaurant — decorate the straps, too!

Remember Big Bob and Little Bob? Well, Loungefly has their own version: Mini backpacks and even mini-er backpacks! You can now accessorize your accessories (a concept Gene would no doubt be a fan of) with your favorite Bob’s Burgers characters in bag charm form. Each mini backpack keychain charm is a mystery — you never know which one you’re going to get! Who needs a Labubu when you can dangle one of these bad boys off your bag. There are six in total to collect: Tina, Louise, Linda, Gene, Bob, and Teddy, and each bagcharm costs $20. Last, but certaily not least, the collection features a gorgeous Louise-themed crossbody bag. Retailing for $65, the bag is a happy medium of sorts between the other options in the collection, offering the perfect size to hold all your essentials while repping your favorite series. The bag features Louise’s signature look including her green fit and her pink bunny-eared hat; details like an image of Louise sitting on Bob’s shoulders on the back of the bag and a glow in the dark Kuchi Kopi coin purse truly take this piece over the top.

When Will ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Season 16 Return?

After a four-month hiatus, fans are eagerly awaiting more Bob’s Burgers, though a return date for Season 16 has yet to be confirmed by the network. Having crossed the 300th-episode milestone when the show returned for Season 16 last year, the animated sitcom is stronger than ever. The series has no plans for stopping anytime soon either. Back in April of 2025, Bob’s Burgers recieved a massive renewal for four seasons at once, taking the series through Season 19 on Fox and Hulu. The series is expected to return sometime this spring.

Bob’s Burgers airs on Fox. Order your favorite piece from the Loungefly collection today and stay tuned at Collider for more.

Taylor Swift Vegas Plans Trigger Showgirl Lawsuit

Taylor Swift’s latest era may be heading toward Las Vegas, but not without controversy.

As rumors swirl about a potential residency tied to her “Life of a Showgirl” project, the pop superstar has been pulled into a legal dispute with a longtime Vegas performer.

What began as speculation about a Sin City run has now escalated into a trademark battle, with questions over branding, ownership, and whether two “showgirl” concepts can coexist.

Taylor Swift’s legal clash with Las Vegas performer Maren Wade reportedly caught many people off guard.

According to an insider, the move was unexpected, especially given Wade’s personality and background.

“It was definitely shocking to friends when the news came out,” the source told the Daily Mail, noting that Wade has spent years building her identity around Confessions of a Showgirl.

They clarified the distinction between the two concepts, adding, “Her show is Confessions of a Showgirl, not The Life of a Showgirl. It’s a little confusing, but she has been building this brand for over a decade.”

Wade’s lawsuit claims Swift’s Life of a Showgirl branding overlaps too closely with her own, potentially creating confusion.

She is now seeking to block Swift’s use of the name while also pursuing damages tied to the alleged impact on her business and reputation.

Swift’s Vegas Rumors May Have Triggered Legal Action

The timing of the lawsuit appears closely tied to growing speculation about Taylor Swift heading to Las Vegas.

Insiders have suggested that discussions about a residency are happening, even if nothing has been finalized.

“The rumors of a residency in Vegas are true, but nothing is set in stone when it comes to whether she will do anything at The Sphere, Caesars, Park MGM,” the source shared, adding that planning is still ongoing.

They explained that Swift is considering a limited number of performances rather than a traditional long-term residency, saying she is “eyeing seven dates” while keeping touring as her main priority.

For Wade, this buzz may have raised concerns about timing and visibility. As the insider put it, “If you can have a steady gig in Vegas, everyone’s going to want [a residency],” highlighting just how competitive the space has become.

Taylor Swift Branding Clash Raises Questions About Protection

Beyond the headlines, insiders suggest the lawsuit may not be about money at all. Instead, it could be a strategic move to safeguard Wade’s long-established brand before the Grammy Award winner potentially enters the same space.

“What she could be hoping to get out of this is to protect her brand, that she can continue,” the source explained.

They also hinted that the filing may have been preemptive, adding, “And maybe it was pre-emptive because obviously there are all these rumors that Taylor is coming to do a residency.”

The insider went further, suggesting Wade may be trying to secure her footing early, saying it could be her way of declaring, “Look, I need to protect my brand in my city.”

The legal filing itself echoes these concerns, arguing that Swift’s branding could confuse audiences and overshadow a concept the Las Vegas performer has been developing since 2014.

Swift’s Case Highlights Concerns Over Brand Confusion

At the center of the dispute is the potential overlap between “Confessions of a Showgirl” and “Life of a Showgirl”

Wade had already trademarked her concept years ago, and Taylor Swift’s later application was reportedly rejected due to similarities.

Despite that, the lawsuit claims the 36-year-old’s team continued using the branding. It states they “continued using it anyway, expanding it across a coordinated commercial program and distributing it through retail channels reaching millions of consumers.”

Wade also alleges that she was never contacted about the name, further fueling her argument that her work is being encroached upon.

Her legal team maintains that both projects are targeting the same audience, increasing the risk that her brand could be mistaken for Swift’s or overshadowed entirely due to Swift’s global reach.

Taylor Swift Gains Support As Maren Wade’s Intentions Are Debated

While the lawsuit has sparked debate, insiders insist Wade is not acting out of financial desperation.

Instead, they describe her as someone who is financially secure and not driven by a desire for a payout.

“It’s a surprise that she’s even going down this road. It doesn’t seem like her,” the source said, suggesting the decision may have come after outside influence.

They added, “It’s probably just someone said something to her like ‘people are going to start confusing you.’”

The insider was clear about Wade’s character, stating, “She’s not the type to be like, ‘I want to get millions out of Taylor Swift.’”

They continued, “She’s not a malicious person and she’s not a money grabber…”

Taylor Swift, who has built an extensive trademark portfolio, has not publicly responded to the lawsuit.

However, she has received support from Gayle King, who said she was “Team Taylor” and added, “I don’t believe Taylor Swift looked at that album cover and thought ‘I’m going to do something with that.’”

Meanwhile, Wade continues to stand by her claim that her brand is worth protecting as both women remain tied to the same “showgirl” spotlight.

Melissa Gilbert Explains Gifts to Boys in Timothy Busfield Case

Published

on

Melissa Gilbert is continuing to share what she claims is her side of the story three months after her husband, Timothy Busfield, was arrested amid allegations of child sexual abuse.

In an interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on Nightline Monday, April 6, Gilbert, 61, was asked about reports that she and Busfield, 68, gave Christmas gifts to the two boys at the center of Busfield’s case.

“I’ll let Larry get into the specifics of what happened with that part of the complaint,” Gilbert responded, turning to Busfield’s attorney, Larry Stein, who was interviewed alongside her.

“Tim did not give the boys gifts. Melissa gave them gifts,” Stein said. “Melissa gave them and every other child at a Christmas party a gift. Every child at the Christmas party. Not treating them special or different than anyone.”

Melissa Gilbert is standing by her decision to defend husband Timothy Busfield after he was arrested on allegations of child sexual abuse. In a clip from her upcoming interview with Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos, Gilbert, 61, called Busfield’s arrest “the most traumatizing experience of our lives.” “Our life as we knew it is done,” […]

According to Stein, the twin brothers accusing Busfield of inappropriate touching on the set of Fox’s The Cleaning Lady are “victims in this case,” and the allegations were orchestrated by the boys’ parents after their roles were recast on the show.

“They are victims of the parents, not victims of Tim. … The boys were the parents’ meal ticket, and when they were fired, they assumed Tim was responsible for it. The truth is he was not,” Stein alleged.

Stephanopoulos said that the family of the alleged victims did not respond for comment prior to the interview airing.

In the first part of the interview that aired during the Monday episode of Good Morning America, Gilbert was asked about prior accusations made against Busfield from 1994 and 2012.

Melissa Gilbert is standing by her husband, Timothy Busfield, despite his child sex abuse charges, calling his arrest “the most traumatizing experience of our lives” while maintaining her belief in his innocence. The Little House on the Prairie alum broke her silence in a candid interview with George Stephanopoulos that aired during the April 6, […]

“I need to make something really abundantly clear,” she said. “These allegations have been out in the ether for a really long time. When Tim and I got together, the internet existed. I didn’t go into my relationship with him blind. I am neither naive nor am I complicit. I talked to him about it, I asked him questions about it. I heard his side of the story — which no one has ever heard — which is the truth. And when the time is right, and that is not now, Tim will tell the truth of all of these past allegations when he needs to.”

Gilbert shared that she is “100 percent confident” that Busfield will be exonerated, but said that the pair “have to be prepared for all scenarios.”

“We’ve had a lot of ups and downs, we’ve been through struggles, we’ve had our own issues to deal with and we’ve worked through everything,” she said. “He is nothing if not completely honest with me. I trust him with my children’s lives, with my grandchildren’s lives, my nieces and nephews. He is an honorable, caring, generous human being.”

Gilbert became emotional when detailing what “justice” would look like for her and Busfield, replying, “Exoneration, an apology, free him from this cloud.” After the broadcast, Busfield’s civil lawyer, Stein, shared his appreciation for Stephanopoulos for “taking the time to clarify some important facts in this case.”

UPDATE 1/21/26, 11:45 a.m. ET: Timothy Busfield‘s wife, Melissa Gilbert, is celebrating his release from jail before his child sex abuse trial. Following the judge’s decision on Tuesday, January 20, Busfield’s civil attorney Larry Stein told People that the actor “feels wonderful,” as does his wife, who is “very, very excited.” Gilbert was seen in […]

“We hope the remainder of the interview airing on tonight’s Nightline will make clear that the parents are criminals: one served more than three years in jail and lost their license to practice law for defrauding 1,500 people of $6,000,000, and the other for writing bad checks and stealing cars,” the statement continued.

Us Weekly confirmed in January that an arrest warrant was issued for Busfield after he was accused of child sexual abuse by two twin brothers on the set of The Cleaning Lady. Busfield turned himself into law enforcement days later and denied the allegations.

Gilbert, for her part, came to Busfield’s defense in a statement at the time. (Gilbert and Busfield have been married for 12 years.)

“During this period, her focus is on supporting and caring for their very large family as they navigate this moment,” her rep told Us. “Melissa stands with and supports her husband and will address the public at an appropriate time.”

Busfield’s attorney, Stein, told Us in a statement that the actor was “innocent,” claiming that the accusers’ mother made the allegations in an effort to “get her revenge against Timothy” after her son was fired from the production.

Busfield was released from police custody in January and was indicted by a grand jury in New Mexico on four counts of criminal sexual contact of a child the next month. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is set to begin trial in May 2027.
