Days of our Lives: Lexie’s Emotional Deathbed Plea to Paulina – Fans Left Heartbroken
Days of Our Lives saw Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) being cold as ice towards Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) since her resurrection. But things could take a major turn when Lexie is hospitalized soon after another scary collapse.
Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) wife is on her deathbed soon and that is going to change everything. Let’s talk about what Lexie may ask of Paulina as her last wish on her deathbed.
Days of our Lives: Lexie Carver Back from the Dead
So, Lexie has given Paulina nothing but grief since her brother EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and the family’s mad scientist Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) resurrected her. Honestly, it was pretty impressive to drag Lexie back from death after 15 years.
But Rolf and EJ were determined to bring Lexie back to life once science could combat the brain tumor that killed her. And remember, this was Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) dying wish. And of course, all of Salem was stunned to see Lexie among the living, most of all Abe and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews). We know that EJ kept Lexie’s resurrection hush hush for as long as he could.
DOOL: EJ Shocks Paulina
The problem was the secret state-of-the-art lab in the basement of University Hospital that EJ set up needed a ton of electricity and Paulina kept using her mayoral powers to try and shut down EJ and the lab. And then Paulina finally confronted EJ about the power grid, threatened to shut it all down.
So, he took Paulina down to the secret lab that she was threatening to have investigators tear apart. So, EJ decided to show Paulina his big secret project and that was a nuclear truth bomb that EJ dropped on Paulina. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw Abe’s beloved Lexie in the tube and then EJ put it off on her and told Paulina she could shut it down and it would end Lexie’s chance to resurrect.
And of course, Paulina was horrified and wasn’t going to play God with Lexie’s life hanging in the balance like that. So ultimately, Paulina let EJ and Rolf continue their work and Paulina agreed to keep it a secret from Abe and Theo because EJ wasn’t entirely sure the whole process would work.
Days of our Lives: Paulina Consumed with Guilt & Fear
Now, in that interim, Paulina was eaten up with guilt about keeping this from Abe and she was also worried what it would mean if Lexie really did come back to life. Not too long after that, EJ decided to show Theo that his mom, Lexie, was about to return to them. And of course, EJ does nothing without a motive in mind.
He knew if Theo was focused on Lexie and her resurrection, he would step aside as CEO and then Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) could take over the role. And that was made even better because Abe had asked EJ to help get Theo out of the CEO chair. EJ didn’t put him in. If you remember, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) brought him to town to make him CEO.
Abe’s World Turned Upside Down on Days
So, Abe was the last to find out that Lexie was coming back to them right before the rest of Salem found out. And Abe and Lexie’s reunion has been honestly bittersweet. Abe had moved on with Paulina many, many years after Lexie died. And he made this beautiful blended family with him and Paulina and Theo and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and now the grandbabies. But Paulina told Lexie that she would step back from Abe so that he and Lexie could have their happy reunion.
And even though Paulina showed grace, you know, Lexie was pretty wicked about the whole thing. I mean, it wasn’t like Paulina stole her husband or did Lexie dirty in any way, shape, or form. It’s like the writers forgot when Paulina was on her own deathbed. Do you remember Lexie Spirit came and told Paulina it wasn’t her time to go? And spirit Lexie told Paulina she had to live for Abe. Lexie said Abe couldn’t lose two wives, but non-spirit resurrected Lexie has been a lot more petty. It’s honestly been painful to watch Paulina mourn the end of her marriage on Days of our Lives.
Days of Our Lives: Lexie’s Terminal Decline and Deathbed Wishes
The flowers that Abe gave her on their Juneteenth anniversary was a gut punch for Paulina. And then Abe had to tell her Lexie’s death certificate was revoked and that meant his and Paulina’s marriage license was revoked.
So, it was like Abe and Paulina had never married. But now, Lexie’s taken a turn for the worse. And you know she was already worried when she had some tremors and symptoms.
Then they found out some of the test rats that had gotten the same serum formula as her had died. But Rolf gave Lexie another hit of the serum, a new batch that he had finessed, and it helped her. But then her symptoms came back even worse.
And when Rolf tried again with another batch of serum, it didn’t help Lexie at all. So, now that’s it. No other options. Rolf left town because the cops are looking for him. And he let Rita know to tell EJ that there was nothing more he could do for Lexie.
Lexie Isn’t Ready to Give Up Her Second Chance on DOOL
Plus, we know Nikki Crawford’s only had a six-month run as Lexie. That’s just about up. Theo and Abe are about to lose Lexie again, and she just confided in Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that she’s dying. Of course, Marlena is super sad to hear what’s happening to Lexie.
And Marlena, of course, has to keep this conversation secret. And Lexie needs to tell Abe and Theo herself. But the thing is, Lexie isn’t ready to do that right now. She loves the second chance she’s gotten and she really told off EJ for bringing her back before the science was more sure. And then when Lexie was at the DiMera mansion, she just dropped unconscious.
EJ put her on the sofa and then Rita reminded EJ. Rolf said that Lexie would be falling unconscious more and more and then she would just be gone. And that’s getting closer by the day. So, EJ’s distraught. And I suspect that Lexie is going to collapse again when she’s with Theo and Abe or they come home and find her collapsed and they rush her to the hospital.
Days of our Lives: Lexie’s Time Is Almost Up
We know from the summer promo that Lexie is in a hospital bed soon, conscious but looking ill and Theo and Abe are at her side and EJ shows up to see his sister and Abe’s raging at him to get out. However, I’m sure Lexie is going to want to see her brother EJ before she dies again.
And I also suspect that Lexie may want to talk to Paulina now that she knows her time’s running out and that she will be dead for good. Lexie’s not going to get a third chance. And she already knows how much Abe grieved her death.
He told Lexie he didn’t move on for a very long time. Then he met Paulina and finally did after a decade of mourning. So I think Lexie isn’t going to want Abe to be alone grieving her death again. There’s not a whole lot that Lexie can do for Theo, but she can do something for Abe.
So, I suspect Lexie makes a deathbed request to Paulina. But first, you know, we’ll see Lexie may ask Paulina to forgive the way that she’s behaved. And then I think Lexie will ask Paulina to be there and to reconcile with Abe once Lexie transitions.
Lexie Asks Paulina to Take Care of Abe on Days
So, I think she doesn’t want Abe to be lost in grief and stuck all alone again for another decade. And Lexie knows that Paulina loves Abe and vice versa. At least Lexie got the chance to love Abe again for a while. And she got the chance to know Theo is a grown man. But I do think Lexie asks Paulina to be there for Abe to stick close and take him in her arms once Lexie passes.
Given the way that things are going for her right now, Lexie should probably speak to Paulina sooner rather than later because I’m not sure how much time Lexie has left, but it doesn’t look like a lot. And Lexie may also tell Abe that she has a deathbed request for him, too. Lexie may tell Abe that he has her blessing and that he should be with Paulina once she’s gone.
Days of our Lives: Lexie Tells Abe to Move on
Now, I’m sure Abe’s not going to want to have that conversation, but I think Lexie will be pragmatic and tell Abe, “I don’t want you to be alone. Promise me that you will go back to Paulina,” and she may ask the same of Abe’s sort of ex-wife. I don’t even know if she’s an ex-wife now because their marriage basically evaporated. But I think that’s what Lexie is going to ask Paulina for as well on her deathbed.

Pop singer Kesha has been open about many of the struggles she’s faced in her career. This is especially true regarding the previous recording contract with Dr. Luke, which she was bound to until 2023. Now, the “Praying” singer is discussing her “Gag Order” album and how it ultimately led to her freedom.
Kesha appeared on the “Las Culturistas” podcast in July 2026, speaking with hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang for over an hour in an episode titled “The Gospel of the Goose.” During the conversation, she brought up her fifth studio album, “Gag Order.”
According to her, “And that performed so badly, that album, performed on the charts so poorly, that it led to my freedom.” After that, she mused on the idea of failure and how it can often lead to what a person ultimately needs.
She added, “You really don’t know what your story is doing for you.”
The Singer Noted That All Her Previous Albums Had Been Successes
Kesha continued discussing her failed fifth studio album by comparing it to her past chart success. She said, “Like at the time I was like, ‘That’s so interesting.’ Like every album I’d put out before that had been like a top 10 or something, and then this came out, and I was like, ‘Oh, d-mn.’”
From there, she admitted that she didn’t initially think fans would love the music from “Gag Order” as they did some of her earlier hits like “TikTok,” but the failure still came as a surprise, one she later welcomed. Kesha went on to say, “But I always loved the album, and I loved the process of making it.”
In revealing her attitude toward the album at the time, she joked, “I was like, ‘If people don’t get it, it’s because they’re not that cool.’ Like it’s so good.”
Kesha Left Her Record Label Following The Album
Kesha signed with Kemosabe Records, Dr. Luke’s record label, which is distributed by RCA, in 2005. However, things took a dark turn with their professional relationship, and the singer accused him of sexual assault, battery, and emotional abuse in October 2014. This came after, according to Vulture, she filed a lawsuit, claiming her druged and sexually assaulted her in 2005.
However, despite the accusation, Kesha remained legally bound to the contract, releasing multiple albums signed to the record label owned by her alleged abuser. Regarding her exit from the company, “Gag Order” served as her final obligation, and she was released from the contract in December 2023.
A representative for the singer released a statement to Variety confirming that she also parted ways with her longtime manager, Jack Rovner: “Jack Rovner confirms, after 16 years, Kesha and Vector Management have agreed amicably to part ways, with much love and respect.”
Kesha also released a statement, saying, “My manager has been an unwavering supporter of helping me get through the lengthy legal battle I have been embroiled in for almost a decade.”
She continued, “We have achieved many great successes and have shared a magnificent part of my life with me. I am so grateful to them and always will be. In need of a fresh start in my life, we have parted ways, but I will remain forever grateful for the run we had.”
The Singer Released Her Latest Album In 2025
Nearly two years after parting ways with both her label and management company, Kesha released her sixth studio album, “. [Period]” in July 2025. Notably, this marked her first independent project under her own Kesha Records. The album consisted of 11 tracks and, according to Pitchfork, marked a return to her high-energy roots while embracing new musical trends.
The album debuted at number 17 on the Billboard Top 200 and number 1 on the Top Album Sales, Vinyl Sales, and Top Dance/Electronic album charts. The new LP was preceded by the lead single, “The One,” which shot to number 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
Kesha Is On Tour… Again
Kesha announced the “Freedom Tour” in March 2026, with dates beginning in May and going until August 30. The tour includes special guests such as Chromeo, Meek, Erika Jayne, and Sizzy Rocket.
Per LiveNation, she said in a press release, “This summer we are reclaiming our bodies, our voices, and our joy. We have survived. Now we get to be free. Let’s be free together. I want to know what freedom feels like, with all of you.”
It continued, “I’ve lived through the fire. This tour is about what comes after. Freedom isn’t just leaving something behind—it’s discovering that what you have lived through has made you magnificently who you are.”
Before the “Freedom Tour,” Kesha embarked on the “T-ts Out” tour from mid 2025 until March 2026.
Tyler Hubbard is opening up about whether he and Brian Kelley plan to do more Florida Georgia Line shows after reuniting a handful of times this year.
“I would say we’ve got some things in the works for next year,” Hubbard, 39, teased during a July appearance on Chicago’s US999 country radio station. “We’re excited.”
Hubbard revealed that he and Kelley, 40, have “been hanging” and “having a good time” so the wheels have been set in motion for more performances.
“[We’re] kinda itching to get back on stage. So we’ll probably put some shows together next year,” he shared.

Hubbard and Kelley formed the country duo Florida Georgia Line in 2010. The musicians went their separate ways in 2022 after 12 years of working together and have since released solo projects.
Fans, however, haven’t forgotten the magic Hubbard and Kelley have created when they are on stage together, especially after they reunited at the 2025 CMA Awards that November for an in-show performance.

The duo have kept the good times rolling in 2026, performing together at BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS) bash in Nashville to honor Jason Aldean in March.
Three months later, Hubbard and Kelley returned to their biggest stage yet for CMA Fest. They performed shows in early June, including gigs at Nissan Stadium and at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Nashville.
The back-to-back shows at CMA Fest marked the first time their fans could really see them back as Florida Georgia Line and seemingly inspired them to want to work side by side more often.
“It was cool. It was a great moment,” Hubbard said during his Chicago radio appearance in July, revealing how special it was to be announced as Florida Georgia Line to a screaming crowd again after his and Kelley’s break.

The “Park” singer shared a separate post via Instagram that month, explaining that CMA Fest was “more than just six shows in four days for me.”
“Last week was about something bigger than just music. Florida Georgia Line’s Instagram account was also refreshed in June to promote the duo’s reunion and seemingly mark the start of their second act.

Carmen Electra is opening up about love and the lessons she’s learned over the years.
In a recent interview with Playboy, the actress and model shared her thoughts on dating later in life, offered advice to divorced women, and revealed what she considers a major dating turnoff.
She also reflected on her past marriages, her long-running connection to Playboy, and the decision to officially adopt the name Carmen Electra, a move inspired by music legend Prince early in her career.
During a recent interview with Playboy, Carmen Electra answered fan questions about relationships, sharing her thoughts on dating later in life and what catches, or immediately loses, her interest.
According to the 54-year-old actress and model, good communication goes a long way. She advised men to avoid last-minute late-night invitations, explaining that calling a woman at midnight and expecting her to meet up on the spot is unlikely to make a good impression.
“We do appreciate texting or calling appropriately,” she said, per Fox News Digital. “What you really need to do is make sure you don’t call her and say, ‘Hey, come meet me at a bar right now,’ when it’s midnight. That’s a huge no-no.”
Electra also offered words of encouragement to women navigating life after divorce, reminding them that their 40s are still a time to enjoy new experiences, have fun, and remain open to opportunities, adding that they “need to go have fun, keep having fun and live your life.”

Interestingly enough, Apocalypse was played by Oscar Isaac in the 2016 film “X-Men: Apocalypse.” Isaac first co-starred with Adam Driver in 2013’s “Inside Llewyn Davis.” He later appeared in all three films of the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy as Resistance pilot Poe Dameron, although he mostly only shared scenes opposite Driver in 2015’s “The Force Awakens.”
Will Oscar Isaac Return To The MCU?
In addition to playing Apocalypse, Isaac also starred as “Moon Knight” in the Disney+ series of the same name. Although it lasted only one season, many fans were hopeful for a second. However, in November 2025, Isaac seemed to cast doubt on his return not only to Marvel but to “Star Wars” as well, given his qualms with Disney at the time.
While speaking to GQ to promote “Frankenstein,” the actor said that he would be “open to” returning to a galaxy far, far away, although he went on to say, “Although right now I’m not so open to working with Disney.”
He continued, “But if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great… if that happens, then yeah, I’d be open to having a conversation about a galaxy far away.”
It remains to be seen if Driver and Isaac will reunite in any future projects, whether it’s in the MCU or a galaxy far, far away.

The Lord of the Rings’ Biggest Issue Finally Addressed by Andy Serkis Ahead of ‘The Hunt for Gollum’
As far as fantasy worlds go, Middle-earth is right up there with the very best of them. Without much doubt, J.R.R. Tolkien‘s The Lord of the Rings is the most influential work of high fantasy ever created, and the same can be said of Peter Jackson‘s trilogy as well. The trilogy’s depiction of Middle-earth was elite, setting the bar for modern fantasy and is seen as the genre’s peak. After years of different attempts to expand The Lord of the Rings beyond the confines of Jackson’s original trilogy, a return to Middle-earth is fast approaching. Warner Bros.’ long-awaited return to Middle-earth will soon be attained with The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, which is set to arrive on December 17, 2027.
A return to the magnetic and ethereal surroundings of that world would be brilliant to say the list even as the film chronicles a story we are familiar with. Detailing the events before The Fellowship of the Ring, the film is expected to follow Aragorn’s search for Gollum after the wizard, Gandalf, perceives that his friend, Bilbo’s old ring could potentially be a lot more dangerous than it looks. The upcoming fantasy film is directed by Andy Serkis, who also returns to play Gollum through motion capture and the actor was quizzed on a particular subject in a recent interview. Overall, one thing is certain. Tolkien is for everyone. Has been and always will be.
So, it is not surprising that The Lord of the Rings‘ perceived lack of diversity has been a subject to quiz Serkis on ahead of his Lord of the Rings film, The Hunt For Gollum. In an interview with the BBC, the director was questioned on some fan criticism of Serkis’ Hunt for Gollum cast, which so far only consists of white actors. Serkis himself, according to the BBC itself, who has been a campaigner for equality across his decades-spanning career, says his film will address diversity “where relevant” and without just “ticking boxes.” “Tolkien himself was influenced a lot by Norse mythology; there’s a lot of that feeling,” Serkis told the BBC. “The Shire feels very, very much like a very, a very white, you know…” Adding: “They’re not very concerned about what goes on beyond the borders of The Shire, but they know they don’t want people coming in.” He does concede that there “have been criticisms,” adding that: “This particular film is somewhat acknowledging that. But we don’t think we will be doing a politically correct just-casting-for-the sake-of-casting-and-ticking-boxes version of the film. So, it’s only where relevant basically.”
Who Is Involved in ‘The Hunt for Gollum’?
Serkis’ comments come amidst a storm of criticism within certain quarters for Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming epic, The Odyssey, whose casting choices have been questioned for different reasons. Besides Serkis, the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum also includes Ian McKellen (X-Men) as Gandalf the Grey, Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Thranduil, and Jamie Dornan (Belfast) as Aragorn, replacing the beloved Viggo Mortensen. Kate Winslet (Titanic), Leo Woodall (The White Lotus), and Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit) as Seren have also been cast. Serkis directs from a screenplay by Phoebe Gittins and Arty Papageorgiou and the original creative team behind Jackson’s trilogy: Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh. Jackson, Walsh, and Boyens are also producing.
The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 17, 2027.

What Do You Think Roomies?
Tom Holland has offered a mysterious new tease about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, revealing that the true meaning behind the film’s title may not become clear until its final shot.
Speaking in the new Disney+ documentary Generations: The Evolution of Spider-Man, Holland suggested that the “brand new day” referenced in the title is not where Peter Parker’s latest story begins.
“The ‘Brand New Day’ of this movie, it isn’t the beginning,” Holland said. “It’s the last frame of this movie.”
The cryptic comment has immediately sparked theories about how the upcoming Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures film could end. While the title initially appeared to reference Peter beginning a new life following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland’s statement suggests the movie may instead conclude with a major transformation or new beginning for the character.
At the end of No Way Home, Doctor Strange’s spell caused the entire world to forget Peter Parker. Peter was left completely alone, separated from MJ and Ned while continuing to protect New York City as Spider-Man.
Some fans believe the final frame could show Peter finally accepting his new life and moving forward from everything he lost. Others think the ending may reveal that the physical changes and evolving powers teased in the film are permanent, creating a dramatically different version of Spider-Man moving forward.
A more extreme theory connects Holland’s comments to unconfirmed rumors involving the symbiote and Peter potentially being brought back from the dead. Other fans have suggested the “brand new day” could introduce another Spider-Man, including the long-awaited arrival of Miles Morales in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
None of those theories have been confirmed, and Holland’s carefully worded tease could ultimately point toward a more emotional conclusion rather than a massive franchise changing twist.

Aside from Taylor Sheridan‘s shows, MobLand remains one of the most popular Paramount+ dramas, occasionally appearing in the top ten. Ahead of a new season this September, MobLand is once again back on the charts. The series recently returned to Paramount+’s top ten after the streamer announced its return date and shared a new trailer. It’s not uncommon for news like a premiere date to inspire people to revisit their watchlist and catch up before a new season, giving the show a viewership boost. Meanwhile, MobLand Season 1 has also been licensed to Netflix for international viewers, pushing it up the charts as a bigger second season looms.

Kris Jenner is mourning the loss of one of the most important figures in her life and the Kardashian-Jenner family legacy. The reality TV matriarch announced Thursday that her mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, has died at age 91.
While fans came to know MJ through her frequent appearances on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and the family’s subsequent reality shows, her influence on the Kardashian-Jenner empire stretched back decades before the cameras ever arrived.
In a lengthy and emotional tribute shared on social media, Jenner reflected on the lessons, love, and values her mother passed down through generations of the family.
“Today, we said goodbye to my beautiful Mommy MJ,” Jenner wrote on Instagram. “There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye.”
The 70-year-old described her mother as “the heart of our family” and credited her with teaching the values that would become central to the Kardashian-Jenner family’s close-knit bond. “She taught us that family is everything. She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments,” Jenner continued.
The reality star also reflected on the lasting impact her mother had on her children and grandchildren, writing that she sees pieces of MJ in every generation of the family. “My heart is broken into a million pieces,” Jenner concluded. “I love you forever Mommy.”

“My dad was in a car accident in 2003, and when he was in the hospital, my mom wanted to close the store, but I said I would run it for her,” Kris recalled in a 2015 interview with Haute Living. “I was exhausted trying to make it all work from San Diego, but I knew my mom and dad needed me.”
Harry later died from a staph infection contracted while hospitalized, a loss Kris described as “so devastating” for the family. In the years that followed, she threw herself into new business ventures, including opening a children’s boutique with her daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, before eventually agreeing to star on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
MJ Frequently Stole The Show With Her Unfiltered Advice
