Did Lisa Vanderpump Try to Set Lala Kent Up With Tom Sandoval?

Did Lisa Vanderpump Try to Set Lala Kent Up With Tom Sandoval?

Lala Kent is addressing claims that Lisa Vanderpump once tried to set her up with Tom Sandoval.

The Valley star, 35, was quizzed about the rumor, which former Vanderpump Rules costar Scheana Shay first alluded to on her podcast back in March, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Wednesday, May 13.

“Y’all are killing me right now,” Lala joked before laughing.

She continued, “I do not want to talk about this woman at all,” before adding, “Stuff happens, you know? Things are said. People ask questions.”

“I won’t confirm or deny that that did or did not happen,” the Vanderpump Rules alum teased. “You catch what I’m putting down?”

During a March episode of her “Scheananigans” podcast, Scheana, 41, claimed that Lisa, 65, encouraged Lala to hook up with Tom, 42, during season 11 of Vanderpump Rules.

“The same person who allegedly pushed the Dorit [Kemsley] dog storyline. The same person who tricked me into working a party at Sur one time,” Scheana said of Vanderpump, per Reality Tea. “The same person who tried to get Lala and Sandoval to hook up [in] season 11.”

“[Lisa] called Lala and suggested that. And Lala was like, ‘I would sleep with Ken [Todd] before I would sleep with Tom,’” Scheana claimed.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 followed the fallout of the “Scandoval” drama after Ariana Madix discovered Tom’s affair with costar Rachel Leviss.

While Scheana and Lala appeared to be on good terms after Vanderpump Rules was rebooted with a new cast in 2025, Scheana shared on her podcast in October 2025 that she and Lala had fallen out.

“After extending grace last week, I do feel the need to address it because Lala knows why our friendship is in the state that it’s in,” Scheana said, claiming Lala “did not take accountability” for their feud.

“This is not just about not posting my book for a week. It is about so much more than that,” Scheana added, referring to her memoir, My Good Side: A Memoir, which was published in July 2025.

According to Scheana, Lala told mutual friends about her husband Brock Davies’ infidelity, which she first revealed in her memoir and said she had privately disclosed to Lala before the book’s release. (Last year, Scheana said Brock cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer.)

“Not one — but two — of my closest friends repeated the Brock affair story to other people. One of those that it was repeated to was Brittany [Cartwright]. I know Brittany doesn’t have bad intentions. I wanted to tell her myself but I didn’t have a chance,” Scheana said. “That one that I can’t get over is Lala telling [our mutual friend] Jenna Willis, who I have not been on good terms with since last season.”

She continued: “Lala did it to humanize me because she said that Jenna was going so hard on me that she wanted to tell her about what I was actually going through. Now I understand the intent was not malicious. … I kept this to myself for two years and then I told one of my best, closest and dearest friends and you go and tell someone. That was extremely heartbreaking.”

Chris Rock Puts Another Spin On Will Smith’s Oscars Slap

Published

on

Chris Rock at the Los Angeles Premiere Of Netflix's 'Roommates'

Is there more to Will Smith‘s motive for getting physical with Chris Rock four years ago?

This rising question looms as the comedian’s recent words brew a connection from a previously unexplored angle about the unforgettable 2022 Oscars moment. The actor’s wife dropped a bombshell revelation years ago, highlighting a romantic attempt made by the comedian.

Will Smith’s hand met Chris Rock’s face after he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s condition, alopecia. Since then, the actor has shown remorse for his actions, apologizing publicly and trying to make amends, notwithstanding the ten-year Academy Awards ban.

Rock has disclosed that he has an age-old rift with Tupac Shakur over the women they dated, and this confession flips the switch on the 2022 resounding Oscar’s slap. The comedian shared the details on a recent episode of the “Fly On the Wall” podcast with David Spade and Dana Carvey during the Netflix Is a Joke Week.

Rock was asked to name his top 5 favorite rappers, which he did, including most of the heavy hitters who typically make the Mt. Rushmore of rap, but notably omitted Shakur. When pressed to shed more light on his ranking, the comedian confessed that he had beef with Shakur because they often dated the same woman, and the rapper usually won out.

This revelation is important because Shakur’s most famous girlfriend is none other than Jada, Will’s wife. Although over the years, Jada has vehemently denied dating the iconic rapper, saying they were platonic “soulmates” instead, as reported by TMZ.

This new confession raises the question of whether Rock also dated Jada back in the day, leading to an outpour of overwhelming emotions from Will at the Oscars four years ago.  In 2023, however, the actress revealed that Rock had asked her out on a date years ago when rumors of her supposed divorce arose.

She claimed that Rock called her, saying, “I’d love to take you out,” a statement which left her stunned. When she asked where his request for a date stemmed from, the award-winning comedian pointed out that he was shooting his shot because he thought she was getting a divorce from Will.

Jada continued, revealing that she quickly debunked the whispers, which left Rock “appalled” as he “profusely apologized” for his misunderstanding and approach. The Blast reported that, according to the “Girls Trip” actress, Rock also approached her after the Oscars incident to apologize for the joke he made onstage, which ignited the whole debacle.

Jada Thought The Slap Was A Skit

Reflecting on the viral incident, Jada admitted she has a limited understanding of the art of comedy, stressing that she does not judge how people express their art.

However, this understanding does not come with a shield on her feelings, as she previously confessed, “I’ll say that several times I’ve had my feelings hurt, for sure. I’ve had my feelings hurt a lot by Chris.”

The “Red Table Talk” podcast host also shared that in the moment, she thought Will going to slap Rock was all part of a skit, but the reality dawned on her after her husband returned to his seat and yelled, “Keep my wife’s name out of your fu-king mouth!”

The action brought a 10-year ban from attending any Academy Awards for the “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” actor.

Even though the famous couple has yet to divorce, they have been separated since 2016, but still express care and affection for each other.

After the incident, Jada said, “I’m going to be by his side but also allow him to figure this out for himself.”

Will previously claimed that he reached out to the comedian months after the infamous slap incident to try to make amends for his actions on a personal level.

He also made videos posted on social media in which he accepted his fault and said he was ready to talk it out with Rock. In one of the videos, Will can be heard saying, “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line, and I was wrong.”

On the other hand, Tony, the award-winning comedian’s brother, claims that Will did not reach out to Rock after the incident. He stated that the actor’s claims that he tried to make amends by directly contacting his brother were false.

As shared by The Blast in a previous release, Tony also noted that Will did not contact him to discuss the incident, and he does not think he ever will.

“My phone number has never changed. So, I just thought I’d get a phone call one day like, ‘Ay, let’s just you and I just talk.’ It hasn’t happened, so I guess it’s not going to happen,” Tony said in an interview.

It might remain uncertain whether Jada was in Rock’s past, but certainly, she is not in his present. The comedian made headlines last month after he was spotted with a mystery woman in New York City, doubling down on heavy PDA.

The woman, later identified as Simone Henault, was spotted with the comedian during an afternoon outing in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. The pair walked through a park before sitting on a bench where they locked lips.

This cozy outing marked a rare public appearance for Rock, who is known to keep his romantic life out of the spotlight following his divorce from Malaak Compton-Rock in 2016.

Henault is not the first woman rock has been linked to since his status changed to single. He was spotted with popular actress Lake Bell in 2022 and Amber Rose in 2023.

The Blast covered that Rose shut down the speculations shortly after photos of them began circulating online. She stressed that they were “just friends” who simply enjoyed each other’s company.

Brad Pitt Paid An Overlooked Star Trek Actor To Beat Him Up

Brad Pitt Paid An Overlooked Star Trek Actor To Beat Him Up

By Chris Snellgrove
| Published

While both are highly acclaimed actors, Brad Pitt and Eric Bana haven’t spent much time onscreen together. The major exception is the 2004 sword-and-sandals epic Troy, which portrayed the brutal clash between Greek and Trojan forces. To make it as real as possible, Brad Pitt and Eric Bana made a bet with each other.

While the film (especially the director’s cut) has plenty of larger battle scenes, much of the violence in this movie is very intimate. The best example of this is when Pitt and Bana’s characters have an onscreen duel that recreates one of the most exciting conflicts in literary history. It’s a cinematic clash of the titans that happened well before Bana appeared in Star Trek (2009) and Pitt appeared (blink, and you’ll miss him!) in Deadpool 2.

That onscreen duel is arguably the best part of the film, and one that fans still fondly remember over two decades later. Pitt and Bana certainly remember it, but not for the reasons you might think.

Instead of using stunt doubles, the two did the whole fight for themselves, and they made things interesting with a bet: if one person accidentally hit the other, they’d pay $50 for smaller hits and $100 for larger hits. By the time it was over, one star paid several hundred dollars, and the other paid hardly anything!

Duel Or Duel Not: There Is No Try

For context, Eric Bana plays Hector, the crown prince of Troy, while Brad Pitt plays Achilles, the Greeks’ most powerful warrior. During the Greeks’ prolonged attack against the Trojans, Hector ends up killing Patroclus, Achilles’ beloved cousin.

An enraged Achilles challenges Hector to a duel outside of the city, and they engage in a fierce battle that lasts for nearly three minutes of tense, nail-biting screentime. Eventually, Achilles wins, dragging Hector’s body back to his camp as a kind of grisly trophy of his victory.

Eruc Bana And Brad Pitt Paid Each Other For Hits

Going into this Troy fight scene, Bana and Pitt made the bold decision to do all the stunts themselves. This made it easier for director Wolfgang Petersen to bring this epic conflict to life, but it also made it far easier for the two actors to accidentally hurt each other.

To make things interesting, Bana and Pitt made a gentleman’s wager regarding accidental hits: every time someone landed a smaller tap, they’d pay the other $50. For each larger hit, they’d pay $100. When it was all said and done, Pitt was the real loser here. His character may have won onscreen, but the actor had to shell out $750 for repeatedly hitting Bana.

What about Bana, though? Some versions of this tale claim that he didn’t pay anything at all. But when news of this wager was first reported, the Chicago Tribune claimed that he paid $200 to Pitt for his own accidental hits.

That means that he came out over half a grand ahead of his costar simply by demonstrating a little self-control. There’s some irony there, of course: previously, Bana’s biggest role was the lead actor in Ang Lee’s Hulk, so everyone on set was likely very concerned about making him angry.

After all, you wouldn’t like him when he’s angry!

Mormon Wives’ Jessi Explains Why Chase Kiss ‘Was Awful’

Mormon Wives' Chase McWhorter Reveals What Actually Happened Between Him and Jessi Draper

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper is reflecting on her now-viral kiss with costar Chase McWhorter.

“It was awful. I mean, it wasn’t an awful kiss, that sounded bad, but it was just an awful situation,” Draper, 33, said on the Thursday, May 14, episode of Hulu’s “Get Real” podcast, noting the kiss happened “one time” at a party. “The thing with Chase is we had a connection, and I was in a vulnerable state and he was really there for me after [my] divorce.”

She continued, “Honestly, it was kind of like MomTok was falling apart during that time. This was right when all the news was breaking, and none of the girls were really talking. I was leaning on him, which was the wrong idea. I had just left Jordan [Ngatikaura] and my emotions were so heightened. We were drunk.”

Us Weekly confirmed in March that Draper and McWhorter, 31, briefly kissed during a mutual friend’s party. Draper was newly separated from Ngatikaura, 28, at the time. Chase, meanwhile, was previously married to Draper’s Mormon Wives costar Miranda McWhorter.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Chase McWhorter spilled all the details on what really went down between him and Jessi Draper. “We just kissed,” McWhorter, 30, said of him and Draper, 33, during the Tuesday, April 7, episode of Harry Jowsey’s “Boyfriend Material” podcast. “That one got spun out of control, but we just […]

“I screwed that up, and I’m Team Miranda, I just have to say,” Draper said on Thursday, revealing where she stands with Miranda, 28, after the incident. “We haven’t talked about [the kiss] really.”

According to Draper, both she and Chase instantly “regretted” locking lips.

“He’s really, really great,” Draper added of Chase, noting Miranda would likely say the same. “He’s a good guy. He is the best at giving advice, and I think I was just in the wrong place in time to feel vulnerable to that. It was both of us. We both regretted it, said sorry.”

Draper further stressed that she and Chase told Miranda about their antics “the next morning,” two weeks before sending her fellow MomTokker a floral arrangement apology.

“I completely understood why [Miranda and Kate Racker, Chase’s ex] were both mad,” Draper acknowledged of telling the truth. “I was like, ‘I get it.’ I screwed up, I’m so sorry, I’m not in the right headspace.”

During her Hulu podcast appearance, Draper shared another “public apology” for her actions.

Miranda, for her part, issued a statement after the kissing scandal.

“I knew there had been communication between Chase and Jessi but not to what extent,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “Chase was upfront and told me that they were talking and that they kissed. Jessi reached out only after she knew Chase had told me something was going on with them.”

Miranda continued, “What I never want to get misconstrued is that there is not any emotional attachment to Chase. He is my coparent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend. Chase and I are no longer partners and while I have a high expectation of him as a coparent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code.”

‘Underworld’s Kate Beckinsale Officially Starring in George A. Romero’s Final Zombie Movie

Published

on

Kate Beckinsale as Selene in Underworld: Blood Wars.

This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

One of the most influential franchises in horror history is rising from the grave. George A. Romero‘s decades-spanning zombie movie saga is finally coming to an end, almost ten years after Romero’s own passing. The film is set to star a horror icon of a different stripe in the form of Kate Beckinsale.

According to reports, Beckinsale has been tapped to star in Twilight of the Dead, the final film in the saga that Romero kicked off in 1968’s Night of the Living Dead. The project has been in the works for some time: it was previously to have starred Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil), and be directed by Brad Anderson (Session 9). Directing duties will now be taken over by brotherly duo Doron and Yoav Paz (The Golem). The film is based on a treatment Romero wrote before his 2017 death from lung cancer; it is the conclusion to his zombie saga, which took place over the course of six films, and will center around the last remnants of humanity dealing with both internecine conflict and the evolving threat of the undead.

What Zombie Movies Did George A. Romero Make?

In 1968, Romero directed and co-wrote (with John Russo) Night of the Living Dead; shot for a pittance in the Pennsylvania countryside, the film redefined terror for a horror-hungry audience, and served as a template for every zombie movie, TV show, and novel that followed it. It became a massive success, but thanks to a typographical error in the film’s credits, it immediately went into the public domain, ensuring that Romero saw little reward for his efforts. He returned to the genre in 1978’s Dawn of the Dead, a satire on consumerism that saw a band of survivors holing up inside a shopping mall; a follow-up, 1985’s Day of the Dead, criticized the military-industrial complex and also showed the undead (who are never referred to as “zombies” in Romero’s works) begin to evolve out of their mindless state. After a lengthy break from the genre, Romero returned with a bang in 2005’s Land of the Dead, a commentary on the stratification of society. Two more zombie films followed: 2007’s Diary of the Dead, a found-footage horror film, and 2009’s little-loved Survival of the Dead, which would prove to be Romero’s last film.

Zara Larsson Has Blunt Response To Chris Brown Diss

Published

on

Zara Larrson at 2026 Billboard Women in Music

Zara Larsson is clapping back after Chris Brown unexpectedly dragged her name into his latest social media rant over criticism surrounding his new album. The pop singer responded after Brown referenced her while venting about Pitchfork’s brutal review of his latest project, Brown, which the outlet famously scored a dismal 1.3 out of 10. During his Instagram Stories rant, Brown told critics unhappy with the album, “If you not my fan, I don’t want you to listen to my sh-t. Go listen to motherf-ckin’ Zara Larsson or somebody.”

Larsson did not stay quiet for long. After Brown’s comments began circulating online, the Swedish pop star responded bluntly. “Who the f-ck are you?” Larsson reportedly said while reacting to the unexpected name-drop.

Larsson has been openly critical of Brown for years, particularly due to his history of abuse allegations and controversies. Earlier this year, she revealed during an interview with Cosmopolitan that she intentionally blocks certain artists from appearing in her Spotify playlists.

“There are so many artists I have blocked on Spotify, and all of them are, like, abusers,” Larsson explained in the February interview. “You certainly wouldn’t find, like, a Chris Brown song.”

Following the exchange, fans quickly flooded social media with reactions, with many claiming Brown’s attempt to mock Larsson actually boosted support for the singer instead. Several users began comparing streaming numbers, album reviews, and Spotify listeners between the two artists. “Trust me Sh-t Brown….we ARE listening to Zara Larsson,” one user wrote online while pointing out that Larsson currently has more monthly Spotify listeners than Brown.

Brown’s comments toward Larsson came shortly after Pitchfork’s review of Brown went massively viral online, reportedly earning more than 10 million views across X within a single day. “[Brown] isn’t romantic or funny or sexy or sultry or dancey or soulful or vulnerable or honest or creative or inspired whatsoever,” Pierre wrote. “It’s soulless, hit-chasing music with nothing going for it if you aren’t personally invested in the Chris Brown culture wars.”

Despite the backlash and harsh reviews, Brown’s album is still projected to debut at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Pitchfork’s now-viral review labeled the project “soulless” and accused Brown of making “hit-chasing music,” further fueling debate online over the singer’s career and continued popularity.

Still, Brown has insisted he remains unfazed by the criticism and previously told fans he knows exactly who his audience is.

The online drama surrounding Larsson and Brown comes just days after the pop singer made headlines for an unexpected wardrobe malfunction during her performance on NBC’s “Today” show. Larsson helped kick off the morning show’s Summer Concert Series on May 8, performing several of her hits, including “Midnight Sun,” “Pretty Ugly,” and “Stateside,” in front of fans gathered at Rockefeller Plaza.

However, things took a chaotic turn during her performance of “Lush Life” when one of her sparkly silver heels reportedly broke mid-dance routine. The moment happened shortly after Larsson invited “Today” co-host Sheinelle Jones onstage to participate in the viral “Lush Life” dance, something the singer often does with fans during concerts. “

We gotta dance extra hard because I lost my heel!” Larsson joked while lifting her foot to reveal the broken stiletto heel, and that she did. Later, when she returned during the “3rd Hour of Today” to perform her song “Blue Moon,” the damaged shoe had been swapped out for a fresh pair.

Just weeks before finding herself at the center of the Chris Brown drama, Larsson opened up about the legendary artists who inspired her own music career. While attending the Billboard Women in Music event at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on April 29, the Swedish singer was honored as this year’s Breakthrough Artist.

During the event, Larsson revealed which four artists she believes belong on her personal “Mount Rushmore” of pop music. “My four are the people that raised me,” the “Midnight Sun” singer said before naming Christina Aguilera, Céline Dion, Beyoncé, and Whitney Houston.

Prime Video’s Next Major Romance Series Gets Perfect First Look Just in Time for Summer Release [Exclusive]

The summer of 2025 came to a screeching halt last September when fans held watch parties and kept their tissue boxes close for the series finale of Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty. The good news is that we know we’ll be heading back to Cousin’s Beach one way or another, thanks to a feature-length film that will pick up where we last left off with the beloved characters at the center of the string of novels penned by Jenny Han. In the months since the Lola Tung-led series came to an end, the streamer has been cooking up several new treats for YA romance. Thanks to the impending arrival of Every Year After, which will serve as an adaptation of Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel, Every Summer After, our next genre favorite is just right around the corner. Today, as part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, we’ve got a first look at the project that will hit screens just in time for summer break on June 10.

Starring Sadie Soverall (Fate: The Winx Saga) and Matt Cornett (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), the story follows Percy (Soverall) and Sam (Cornett), two childhood best friends who see one another every summer at the popular lake town of Barry’s Bay. Over six years, viewers will follow the pair and their loved ones as they navigate life, relationships, and love. Additionally, the ensemble lineup also features the talents of Abigail Cowen (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Aurora Perrineau (When They See Us), Joseph Chiu (Fear Street: Prom Queen), Michael Bradway (Chicago Fire), and Elisha Cuthbert (House of Wax).

Our exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming series showcases the relationship between both Percy and Sam as well as Percy and her mother, Sue (Cuthbert). The first shot captures a loving moment between the couple at the center of the tale, with Sam and Percy taking a break from cooking up a storm to stare into one another’s eyes. The other image depicts the tight-knit bond between daughter and mother, as Percy and Sue share some laughs while shooting some pool.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.
