Dua Lipa's Latest Social Post Sparks Speculation: 'Who Wants More?'

A couple of days ahead of Valentine’s Day, English singer-songwriter Dua Lipa has taken the time to answer some questions sent in by her fans to her lifestyle website, Service95.

After going through some of her fans’ love dilemmas, the singer pulled from her own experiences with life and relationships to offer thoughtful and practical advice.

On February 12, Service95 published an advice-focused post, sharing five questions Lipa chose to answer from a pool of questions her fans have been sending. One fan wanted to know the singer’s tips for making long-distance relationships work.

As the 30-year-old singer shared, she’s had some experience with that, especially during the times she’s away touring around the world. “I’ll start by saying this: it does get easier with time, but it never stops being hard,” she wrote.

Lipa added that one thing she avoids doing is being “constantly ‘in the know’,” instead, keeping conversations light. “I like to save big conversations for when you’re together in person and can really listen and be present,” she explained.

She also sprinkled in some words of wisdom, saying, “And yes, relationships do change with distance, but love doesn’t.”

Lipa just finished her year-long Radical Optimism Tour in December 2025, and it must have been a difficult time for her and her fiancé, English actor Callum Turner.

As part of her response to her fan, she shared what she does whenever they’re apart, including “sending small messages whenever something reminds me of them: a book they’d like, a song I’ve just found, a film recommendation.” Doing this, she said, gives them new things to talk about when they talk while away from each other.

Lipa has been spending quality time with Turner, and as previously reported by The Blast, the couple was spotted while on a date in Paris when Turner had a heated exchange with paparazzi who were trying to take photos of them.

One question had Lipa looking back at her past relationships. The fan asked how she could help her sister realize her self-worth and regain confidence after her break-up.

Lipa has had some high-profile relationships, most notably with model Anwar Hadid, rapper Jack Harlow, and French filmmaker Romain Gavras.

The singer said that at times, the best thing is to just be present for someone who is going through a break-up. “Let her say, ‘This makes me feel like shit,’ without trying to fix it or put a positive spin on it. Break-ups are disorienting and have the space to feel the weight of that can actually be really healing, IMO,” she advised.

Furthermore, she said, “confidence comes back with time,” telling the fan that it wasn’t her responsibility to “fix” her sister.

In an interview with British Vogue, the “Levitating” singer shared that she and Turner were briefly introduced to each other at a restaurant by the establishment’s co-founder. Lipa was dining with her father, while Turner was with friends.

Kelly Rowland Has Been Close With Beyoncé Since They Were Kids

Hearing about Rowland’s relationship with Beyoncé isn’t a surprise, considering the two women rose to fame together as part of the chart-topping girl group Destiny’s Child.

The two formed an unbreakable bond during their early years together—something that’s remained just as solid today as it did over three decades ago.

Rowland’s bond with Beyoncé doesn’t end with her. According to an earlier report from The Blast, Rowland has also grown extremely close with the “Single Ladies” singer’s mom, Tina Knowles, whom she calls her “bonus” mom.

During a podcast appearance, Rowland gushed about their close-knit relationship, stating that Mama T has known Rowland since she was a young girl. “You gotta remember, I’ve known my Mama T for that long,” she said. “She knows everything about me. My mannerisms, my tone when I call her. She knows when I’m happy just by one tone.”

For Rowland, her relationship with Tina means more to her than people likely realize. She called Tina, who used to design costumes for Destiny’s Child, her “safe space” before sharing how much having “two moms” means to her.

Is Adrianne Curry in America’s Next Top Model Documentary? Absence Explained

Published

on

Netflix will explore the most controversial moments from groundbreaking reality competition America’s Next Top Model in its new documentary Reality Check.

The three-part docuseries from American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden directors Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan pulls no punches as it examines the way America’s Next Top Model changed the fashion industry — for better and worse. While ANTM unquestionably opened up the fashion world to a more diverse talent base, there have been accusations that its reality format was exploitative at times.

The filmmakers have secured interviews from many of the key figures involved in the making of ANTM, from creator and original host Tyra Banks and producer Ken Mok to former judges J. Alexander and Nigel Barker.

Numerous ANTM contestants — including winners Dani Evans and Whitney Thompson — will look back at the legacy of the show too but the original breakout star will be missing. Season 1 winner Adrianne Curry announced in January 2026 that she’d rejected an offer to reflect on ANTM through “a woke lens,” calling the concept of the documentary “absurd.”

Keep scrolling for more about Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model and why Curry refused to take part.

Why Isn’t Adrianne Curry in Netflix’s ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Documentary?

Multiple media outlets announced in May 2025 that America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks agreed to be interviewed for Netflix’s critical look at the series. Her involvement seemingly paved the way for many of the judges and contestants to take part in Reality Check too, though there was one notable holdout.

America’s Next Top Model season 1 winner Adrianne Curry confirmed in January 2026 that she had no intention of taking part in Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model.

“I am deeply grateful I won the first season of top model. I think people psychoanalyzing it over 20 years later with a woke lens is absurd,” she announced via X on January 26, 2026.

Curry argued that there was potential for any of the interviews to be manipulated to fit the filmmakers or Netflix’s agenda.

Tyra Banks Hosting Duties Through Years From ANTM to DWTS

All she needs is her signature smize! Tyra Banks got her start as a model, but she is perhaps more well-known as a TV host in this day and age. The businesswoman took the world by storm when she kicked off America’s Next Top Model in May 2003. She not only served as a host and mentor […]

“I don’t trust people to not manipulate things I say for tv, so i decline everything,” she added. “Also, the public is cult-like and cruel, so the last thing I want is a bunch of eyeballs on me. I hope the other girls do not have their words twisted in their netflix show.”

The retired model described Reality Check as a possible “cover up fest” and expressed concern for any former ANTM contestants who agreed to be interviewed.

“I worry about the girls from my season who agreed to do it,” she warned.

What Has Adrianne Curry Said About ‘America’s Next Top Model’ in the Past?

Adrianne Curry has not been shy about criticizing America’s Next Top Model since her win in 2003. She claimed on the “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” podcast in June 2025 that she was the only winner of ANTM to be paid “zero dollars.”

“[I] was the only winner that won no money. Zero dollars. … There was no money in my win. I got a title,” she told host Bethenny Frankel.

Per Curry, America’s Next Top Model recruited contestants with the possibility of a Revlon campaign but never really followed through.

“[Tyra Banks] was telling us we’re gonna be this huge Revlon-like superstar, because I don’t think any of us would have fought as hard as we did for what the prize really was, which is the title,” Curry said. “So I always joke because people are like, ‘You still call yourself America’s Next Top Model?’ I’m like, ‘It’s the only f***ing thing I won.’ I’m gonna put it on my tombstone.”

Curry offered a different version of events to Entertainment Weekly in May 2023 when she said she was paid $15,000 to attend one Revlon corporate event.

“What I won was to go to Revlon corporate, sit in a back room, have a makeup artist put makeup on my face for a team of about seven people watching me. Who the f*** would fight as hard as we fought for that?” she complained.

Banks announced during the America’s Next Top Model season 1 finale that the winner would receive “a contract with Revlon, a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine and representation by top modeling agency Wilhelmina.” Curry confirmed she was given a contract with Wilhelmina, though that relationship allegedly soured when ANTM switched to rival modeling agency IMG in season 2.

“[The agents] wanted me to fail. They straight-up told me,” she alleged. “They were pissed off because Top Model made them a bunch of promises they didn’t keep because no agency wanted to be part of the show when it first came out.”

In response to Curry’s accusations, then-current Wilhelmina Vice President Ray Lata told Entertainment Weekly in 2023, “Twenty years ago, Wilhelmina had different owners and staff. Wilhelmina is now a public company. It seems unlikely there would be sufficient motivation to harm Tyra and not try to maximize a model’s earning potential.”

Curry also claimed that she still bears the physical effects of a disastrous makeover challenge from ANTM in 2002. In an October 2025 Instagram video, Curry blamed a botched hair weave on the show for leaving her “partially bald.”

“I wanted to discuss why I’m partially bald right here. The reason is, when I was on Top Model, Tyra Banks told them to put a weave in my hair. The Black stylists that were putting it in pulled her aside, and I heard them tell her, like, ‘This white chick’s hair is too fragile for this,’ and [Banks was], like, ‘Oh, no, no, just do it,’” she alleged.

Curry went on, “I had an oozing wound from the braids. Half my hair had been ripped out here. The little bit of hair that grows here, that’s it.”

The model alleged that ANTM’s hairstylists “didn’t even take the weave out” when filming wrapped so she “had to go to a Black salon in Illinois” to get the procedure reversed. Curry said that she was left with “horrific, moist scabs all over [her] head.”

“[The hair has] never grown, this entire area. It’s permanently damaged from that weave. It was so painful,” she recalled. “I was crawling out of my skin every second. All my friends were like, ‘Are you bald there?’ I think most of those makeovers were done just to torture us, honestly.”

Banks did not respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment at the time.

Despite her complaints, Curry told Entertainment Weekly in 2023 that she had no hard feelings toward Banks for the way her ANTM experience turned out.

“Tyra Banks learned to look out for Tyra Banks. She’s a product of her environment, and I don’t blame her,” Curry said. “For her to be as successful as she is, bravo. She didn’t owe me s***. I know there are a lot of bitter contestants. I’m not at all. I’m glad that happened: the good, the bad, the ugly, because it really molded my life.”

Who Is Interviewed in Netflix’s ‘America’s Next Top Model’ Documentary?

The most intriguing interview participant on Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model is Tyra Banks, who created the competition series and served as host for 23 of its 24 seasons. (Rita Ora came on board for season 23 but only lasted for a single cycle before Banks was brought back.)

“I haven’t really said much but now it’s time,” Banks slyly says in the trailer.

The supermodel insists in Netflix’s documentary that America’s Next Top Model was her way to “fight against the fashion industry” though she admits that the atmosphere on ANTM could be “very, very intense.”

“But, you guys [viewers] were demanding it, so and so we kept pushing more and more and more,” Banks explains in the show.

Former America’s Next Top Model creative director Jay Manuel and judges Nigel Barker and J. Alexander have given interviews for Reality Check, too. The trio will address the behind-the-scenes conflicts that led to them all being fired from ANTM in 2012. (A rebrand of the show for cycle 19 saw Banks joined by fashion blogger Bryanboy, model Rob Evans and designer Kelly Cutrone as judges, plus photographer Johnny Wujek as new creative director.)

“I realized Tyra would do anything for the success of her show,” Manuel alleges in the teaser.

Barker admits in the Reality Check trailer that he felt “betrayed” by his highly-publicized firing, whereas Manuel likened the divisive ANTM cycle 19 refresh to being “slapped across the face.”

Reality Check will include testimonials from numerous ANTM contestants and winners, including Whitney Thompson (season 10 winner), Dani Evans (season 6 winner), Giselle Samson (season 1 contestant), Shandi Sullivan (season 2 contestant), Keenyah Hill (season 4 contestant) and Shannon Stewart (season 1 runner-up).

Bold and the Beautiful: Will Quits Forrester & Teams Up with Dad Bill for Ultimate Revenge Plot?

Published

on

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) - Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is raging by the end of this week, and I don’t think it’s going to be too long until Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) adds a new player in his revenge game that he’s plotting against Forrester Creations.

Today, we’re going to get into why Will Spencer may quit his job at Forrester Creations and join his parents over at Logan Designs. Of course, Bill might recruit Will as part of his revenge plan on the Forresters, specifically on Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Will Spencer Champions Dylan Against Ivy Forrester on Bold and the Beautiful

It’s pretty clear that Will Spencer is team Dylan (Sydney Bullock) in this messy situation. He doesn’t like that Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) bullied and harassed Dylan to the point that she’s back to living in her car. Will had to practically drag Dylan back to the house with him. She’s so scared of Ivy that she didn’t even want to be at Will’s place.

Appropriately, he pinged Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and said, “Come home. Come over to my place right away.” She joined the conversation and, of course, she was stunned to hear that Ivy told Dylan to lie to her and Will and leave town or else. After that reveal, Will decided to invite Ivy to the party because he wants to know why she did this to Dylan. Ivy is not going to hold back.

The Big Bold Reveal: Ivy Forrester’s Accusations and the Lap Incident

By the end of the week, Electra is asking why her aunt Ivy would order Dylan to leave town and basically put her back on the street. In that moment, Electra is feeling bad for Dylan. Electra already noticed that Ivy was acting weird at Forrester when she was bringing up Dylan and talking about her.

However, I think Electra’s attitude is going to shift fast on Friday once Ivy tells Electra that she needs to hear the truth about Dylan and Will and what they were up to when she was out of town. Ivy’s take on it is that Dylan was in Will’s lap and they were about to kiss after spending the day together, which Electra had specifically told Dylan not to do.

Electra told Dylan, “You are not to be alone with Will.” To be fair, Dylan tried not to be, but Will insisted they hang out. Then he insisted she help him babysit Hayes Forrester (Bryan Garlick), and then he asked her to dance. From Ivy’s perspective, Dylan is trying to steal Electra’s man.

Electra Forrester’s Ultimatum and Will Spencer’s Breaking Point on B&B

When Ivy lays it all out, Will is going to snap. He’s going to lose it on Electra’s aunt. By the end of the week, Will is all up in Ivy’s face and he’s yelling at her. I’m guessing she’s going to give it back. He’s clearly offended by Ivy’s read that he was trying to get with Dylan while Electra was out of town. Also on Friday, Will is stunned as Electra hits him with an ultimatum.

I suspect it might be about a couple of things. First, Electra may demand that Will apologize to her aunt Ivy, who was just watching out for Electra and caught Will doing something inappropriate. Second, I think Electra will mandate that Will can’t talk to Dylan anymore, can’t see her, and certainly cannot offer her the guest house again, even if that means the girl is going to be sleeping in her car.

Once Electra hears that Dylan was in Will’s lap, that’s likely a dealbreaker. I don’t think any explanation will do, even though Will feels this was innocent. Let’s be real; most women would not take it well. You hear that while you were gone on a business trip, your man had another woman on his lap at his place. That’s problematic.

Mixed Signals and Past Drama with Luna Nozawa on Bold and the Beautiful

I agree that Will shouldn’t have asked Dylan to put on her ballet gear and dance for him. It’s not “proper,” as uptight Ivy would say. Of course, viewers know that Will was daydreaming about Dylan recently, but Electra and Ivy don’t know that. Even if Will has no interest in Dylan, it is fair to say he is sending some mixed signals.

If you remember, Will kissed Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and was letting her paw all over him while he was undercover trying to help Chief Baker (Dan Martin) get a confession out of her. We saw Electra was mad about how far Will let that go. Understandably, I get where Electra is coming from on Bold and the Beautiful.

Also, Will is a young guy in his 20s. They don’t always think with their brains. Maybe deep down he enjoys the attention from Dylan even though he says he loves Electra. I do believe that he does love her.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Will Spencer – Bill Spencer

Will Spencer Considers Leaving Forrester Creations for Logan Designs on B&B

After this screaming match with Ivy and Electra hitting Will with an ultimatum, I think he may go to his parents, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Bill, for their take on things. They may agree that Ivy is awful and that Electra should have given Will the benefit of the doubt. Katie may reiterate that she thinks Will’s a good boy for being charitable and helping Dylan when she had nothing and nobody.

Will told Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) the other day that he thinks his time at Forrester Creations is almost done. Will is in that mindset at this point, although he didn’t really explain to Deke why. From there, I can see Bill telling Will that he needs to come work with them—his mom, his dad, and his brother—and just forget Ivy and Forrester Creations.

I know Katie and Bill would love to have Will ditch Forrester and come to Logan Designs or Spencer Publications. Plus, I’m sure that Ivy and Electra are going to tell Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) what happened.

She, Ridge Forrester, and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) may make it uncomfortable for Will to stay at Forrester because everybody’s all up in each other’s business and being judgmental. I doubt he wants to see Ivy every day at work either, because she’s not going to let up.

Bill’s Revenge Plan Against Ridge on Bold

It would make sense if Will bailed on Forrester and headed over to Logan. Once he’s there, I absolutely expect Bill to get Will involved with his revenge plan on the Forresters. If he quits because of Ivy, Bill is going to feel like the Forresters have dissed Eric Forrester (John McCook), Katie, and Will.

We know that Bill is planning to humiliate Ridge by making a big, splashy reveal in Eye on Fashion about Eric being the new lead designer at Logan. The story will be that it came about because Ridge forced his iconic designer dad, Eric, out of the company that he founded. That’s not good optics. It’s going to make Ridge look like a real creep.

This issue with Will, Dylan, Electra, and Ivy could have ripple effects that leak over into other storylines. I felt for a while that it was inevitable that Will was going to wind up over at Spencer or Logan. We could absolutely see that manifest by the end of February sweeps, which wraps up on the 25th.

I don’t think we’re going to see Electra and Will break up, at least not yet, but I think things are going to get rocky. Between Ivy’s aggressive attitude, Electra’s ultimatum, and Bill tempting his son, I feel like Will is going to go work somewhere else that’s a lot less hassle where he can be appreciated.

Young and the Restless Next Week: Nick Gets Caught Red-Handed & Billy Unleashes His Fury!

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) - Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)

Young and the Restless spoilers for next week indicate Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is getting busted doing something really bad, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) loses it and lashes out after a big win that might cost him things that are near and dear to his heart.

We’ve got the latest Y&R spoilers for the week of February 16th. And we’re going to talk about Nick and Billy, plus some action with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), and lots more.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Abbott’s Dark Road to Revenge and Sally Spectra’s Growing Fears

All right, let’s kick things off with Billy Abbott, who seems to be heading down the dark road of revenge, as he has done in the past. And the person that’s been keeping him in check, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), is not going to be there to make sure Billy doesn’t spiral out again.

So, hot on the heels of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) signing Chancellor over to Billy and folding Newman Media into Abbottcom, we see that Billy decided to surprise Sally with a romantic candlelight dinner and flowers for Valentine’s Day. Billy wants to put aside their issues for the night and just be together. But Sally is not having it. Even when Billy reminds her that it’s Valentine’s Day, Sally Spectra says the romance is nice and all. But it doesn’t solve anything.

And Billy talks about wanting to see Sally on top of the world and for them both to succeed. But then Billy drops the bombshell that Chancellor now belongs to him. And great news, Newman Media now belongs to Sally—or specifically to Abbottcom.

Billy tries to say his hands are clean because it was Phyllis who double-crossed Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), took all the Newman assets, and signed Newman Media and Chancellor over to them. And of course, Sally Spectra is shocked. She doesn’t want this.

She said, “Now Billy has Cane as an enemy in addition to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as his enemy.” And then Sally tells Billy this is exactly what she was scared would happen and it’s manifesting. And Sally Spectra said she does not want to be collateral damage in this mess that he’s created.

Billy Abbott Confronts Jack Abbott Over Besting Victor Newman on Y&R

And then Billy just snaps. I don’t know what he was expecting. I was expecting exactly this reaction. But he loses it on Sally Spectra and is kind of getting confrontational asking what she’s afraid of and gripes about what’s wrong with being ambitious. There’s ambitious and then there’s theft, you know.

So, Billy Abbott says he can’t live like this and he actually has the cojones to storm out on Sally as if she’s the one in the wrong. So, next week, looks like Billy continues his tour, showing off his bad attitude, and this time it’s with his big brother.

Young and the Restless spoilers for next week have Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) dealing with an irate Billy who asks Jack, is he really concerned about Billy or is Jack just ticked off because Billy is the Abbott who finally bested Victor?

I mean, I’m sorry. Exactly how did Billy do anything? Cane bested Victor and then Phyllis bested Cane. The contribution Billy made was to go over to the Newman ranch and distract them for five minutes saying Cane’s going to betray them.

I mean, Phyllis stole the AI, gave it to Victor, and then he betrayed her, and then Phyllis chloroformed Cane after he beat Victor because he was going to give everything back and betray her. And so Phyllis took it all so that Cane and Victor both lost. The only thing Billy has done is ride Phyllis Summers’s coattails. And he doesn’t even like her.

Noah Newman and Sienna Bacall’s Emotional Reunion in Los Angeles

And we also have more Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) action coming. As I’ve been saying here for a while, I did not think he was gone because he exited offscreen and in a very undramatic fashion. And yeah, he is now confirmed to be back. More on that in a second.

So, as this week ended, we had Noah going out to Los Angeles trying to win back Sienna who has dumped him, left him a note, and she tells Noah that she feels like a stranger in her own life and feels alone.

And strangely, she says it surprised her. But Sienna admits that she misses Mitch Bacall a lot. And of course, you know, Mitch was her husband forever. She had no idea about the Matt Clark stuff, even though Mitch himself wasn’t a nice guy either.

But Noah is still very understanding. But he wants Sienna to come back and start a new life with him in Genoa City. She tells Noah she loves him. But that doesn’t mean they have a future. And Sienna kisses him.

You know, Noah is bringing up that it’s Valentine’s Day, talks about a fresh start and more kissing. But I don’t think he’s going to convince Sienna to come back with him. First of all, it seems unlikely that she would come back to Genoa City at all.

And second, if she does, I don’t think Sienna is going to be around long term. Third, Matt is back in March. And if Sienna is back in Genoa City by then, Matt just might kill her. So, even if Noah brings her back, I don’t think it’ll go well.

Nick Newman Busted? Sharon Newman Catches Nick with Fentanyl Pills on Young and the Restless

And it turns out Sienna isn’t the only one with Matt Clark on her mind. Nick’s thinking about the villain, too. So, this past week when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) were asking him about his injuries and the surgery and all that, Nick admitted that he’s still in a whole lot of pain and Victoria warned him about medication.

So, we’ve seen Nick Newman in the past looking at that little baggie of pills that Matt Clark gave him, and we know it’s fentanyl. Next week, we’re going to see Nick at Crimson Lights, and he’s fiddling with the baggie of fentanyl pills under the table while Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) back is turned.

And then she comes back to the table and sees Nick shoving the baggie into his pocket. And Sharon says she’s sorry she startled him. But then she wants to know what is Nick hiding from her.

I am quite certain he is going to lie to Sharon Newman so she doesn’t realize that Nick has illegal street drugs on him. Worst of all that he got from Matt Clark. And if those are in Nick’s hands, that’s a red flag that Nick probably ran out of pills from the doctor visit that Sharon took him to.

Roger Howarth Return Confirmed and Mariah Copeland’s Legal Trouble Spoilers

I just hope when Matt Clark’s back on the scene in March—and that is confirmed, by the way, that Roger Howarth is back. He’s filming. So about four weeks we’ll see him on air. So, I hope that Nick doesn’t wind up scoring more fentanyl from Matt.

Also, next week, Daniel is worried about what’ll happen now that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was arrested and carted back to Genoa City. Tessa Porter says she wants to be with Daniel and is going to push forward with her divorce, but Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) is back in Genoa City, and Daniel’s telling his dad he has no idea what’ll happen with him and Tessa.

And Danny’s asking Daniel, does he think Mariah will let Tessa back in now that it’s all out in the open and over and done, but it’s really not. We know Mariah Copeland’s got a long road. But it sounds like Daniel’s worried that Tessa Porter might reconcile with Mariah. I don’t think so. At least not anytime soon.

Kyle Abbott’s Audra Charles Kiss and Victor Newman’s Asset Recovery Plot on Young and the Restless

I also expect to see more on that kiss between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) that we saw on Friday’s episode. Kyle kissed her and then he dissed her, but I don’t think he’s nearly done with Audra. Look for more of that.

And also Victor and the Newmans plotting to get their assets back from Phyllis and Billy. And I’m sure Sally would rather give back Newman Media, but Billy might be able to block that move.

Social Thinks She Shaded NBA YoungBoy

Yaya Mayweather Seemingly Shades Ex NBA YoungBoy While Reflecting On Love And How People Change After Incarceration

Yaya Mayweather has been feeling nostalgic about her past, especially when it comes to the time she dated NBA YoungBoy. She recently shared videos of herself singing along to his songs and even reposted old photos from that era. With all the love in the air, it seemingly brought back old feelings. She previously wrote, “Man all these proposals… and here I am. I haven’t been in a relationship or talked to anybody since the only relationship I’ve been in and that was five years ago.”

However, it looks like Yaya may be in a different space now. After reminiscing on her past, she seemingly shifted gears with a message about how people change after being locked up, leaving fans to wonder if she’s ready to move on to something new.

Yaya Mayweather Shares Cryptic Messages On X

On Thursday night, Yaya Mayweather took to X with a series of emotional tweets reflecting on how people change after incarceration. She suggested that some individuals act like completely different people once they regain their freedom and often forget those who held them down.

She wrote, “People act totally different when they’re incarcerated than when they have their freedom, you would think it’s 2 completely different people you’re dealing with… When they come around you’ll be forgotten and so will everything you did for them. Instead, they’ll choose the people who were nowhere to be found, ain’t never answered a call, or wrote a d**** letter.”

Her tweets led many to believe she was referring to her ex and the father of her son, NBA YoungBoy, who has been incarcerated on multiple occasions.

Yaya also offered advice, writing,My advice is walk out on people, turn your back on them even at their lowest… f**** em.” She added, “My heart then turned so cold you can’t even reach me.”

However, despite the tone, love still seemed to be on her mind. She later tweeted, “I’ll probably end up marrying a boxer,” adding, “Love a man that can fight,” along with heart-eyes emojis.

Social Media Reacts

Social media users gathered under The Shade Room Teens to react to Yaya’s recent tweets. Many shared advice, saying they sympathize with her hurt and are praying for healing. Some feel it is time for her to move on from NBA YoungBoy. Others played matchmaker, suggesting boxers like Gervonta and others she could consider next.

Instagram user @minniexbby wrote, “I hate this for yaya 😢 everybody has something to say or jokes to crack but we all been in love before and love different! I don’t think nobody deserves to be put down or feelings and heart played with prayers for your healing journey 🙏🏾

Yaya Also Sets The Record Straight Following NBA YoungBoy’s Tweets

While Yaya was tweeting, NBA YoungBoy was on the other side of X, posting about one of the mothers of his children. The rapper wrote, “Powder head b**** oh tell them what I found out during that time since you picking at me.”

As social media users began speculating about who he was referring to, some pointed fingers at Yaya. However, Yaya quickly entered the chat to shut down any assumptions.

She wrote, “Wrong bm. He ain’t talking about me did you forget I’m on probation and have to do weekly drops boo.She added, “Y’all hate me so much y’all wanted it to be true so bad sorry try again.”

All 3 Emerald Fennell Movies, Ranked

Published

on

Jacob Elordi as Felix in 'Saltburn'

If you were only allowed one word, and you had to summarize Emerald Fennell’s directorial work to date, it would probably be “controversial.” “Divisive” is the runner-up word, but “controversial” feels more appropriate because her films really get under the skin of certain viewers. When you dig through what she’s directed, and try to break down what she’s going for with each movie, the whole pushing buttons thing is usually done in a good or purposeful way, but sometimes done in a more haphazard manner. And then going back to the word “divisive,” some detractors will argue she’s actually being shocking for the sake of it more often than not, but this isn’t being written by a detractor. This is someone who thought she was two for two, for a while, then might be two-and-a-half for three after her third film, but that’s not the worst thing in the world, and things could indeed go in interesting directions from here. That’s also giving away that yep, of her first three movies, Wuthering Heights is quite comfortably the weakest. It might be poor form to ruin a ranking in the introduction usually, but for as divisive as Fennell’s films have been, there really is only one way to rank her first three movies.

You probably won’t be as surprised by the order of this ranking as you will be by the content of the films themselves.

You might not be positive on the other two, but you’re probably least negative on the one that most detractors are least negative on, and most conflicted about the one that most people are most conflicted about. But quality aside, Emerald Fennell is very much doing her own thing, as a filmmaker, and has established a recognizable style with just three movies (hell, after her first two, really), and to have that kind of voice be so fully formed so soon, even if you don’t particularly like that voice, is something that can be admired. She’d done some movie and TV work before becoming a director, like acting some supporting roles in films like Anna Karenina (2012) and The Danish Girl (2015), and writing the second season of Killing Eve, but it’s just her directorial work that’s focused on below. You won’t be as surprised by the order of such a ranking as you will probably be with the content of the films themselves (again, it wouldn’t be surprising if Fennell’s favorite Prince album was his fourth one), but such is the nature of a short ranking, and so too is the nature of this particular filmography to date.

‘Wuthering Heights’ (2026)

Wuthering Heights (2026) is very much a flawed adaptation of the novel of the same name, written almost 180 years ago by Emily Brontë, but it is a fairly good movie (there’s another Wuthering Heights from 2011 that’s probably better if you want something more directly in line with the book). And yes, that is positivity about a movie people were already up in arms about before it came out. You can kind of approach this with as open a mind as possible and find a good deal to like. Even as an adaptation, it really only lets itself down near the end, and more in terms of what it leaves out, rather than what it changes or adds. People have already been focusing more on what is there rather than what isn’t there, but the big issue here, which makes it less interesting than the novel, is that it ends so much earlier than the book does. Further, it doesn’t even attempt to get what’s almost the last half of the novel crammed into an epilogue or something. The ending is sudden and strange enough that it’s enough to make you turn on the whole movie. For so much of Wuthering Heights, it does feel like Fennell gets the text, and how miserable and intense it all is (timelessly so, which is why the book’s a classic), but then by choosing to end it where it does end, it’s like… wait, did she actually not get it?

If you feel blindsided, you probably went in with an open mind. If you went in wanting to hate this, you’ll feel it was unfaithful to the text all the way through. But there’s a discomfort to so much of Wuthering Heights and a real visceral feeling as a piece of cinema that does line up with the novel. There should be more credit given to the parts that are very much Wuthering Heights. What’s covered here doesn’t so much fail to go deep, but more fails to go the whole distance, and the stuff that feels subversive and particularly ahead of its time, in the novel, isn’t really covered, or it’s shaken up a bit in the chronology of the story to mixed effect. It is a fascinating attempt at an adaptation, and ultimately frustrating. But again… the good. There’s good. Margot Robbie feels miscast at first, because while Robbie can pass as someone maybe 10 or so years younger than she really is (impressive, considering she played someone older than herself in real life incredibly well back in 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street), but not someone who’s a teenager, and Cathy here does feel like a teenager in the earliest post-childhood scenes in the movie. But she does impress later on, and Jacob Elordi (the most controversial casting choice) is excellent. Most of the supporting performances are good, the film looks spectacular and stylized, and the use of music throughout is also interesting; takes a bit of time getting used to, but the Charli XCX songs kind of work. And no Kate Bush, which is honestly kind of surprising, because Fennell used some very on-the-nose needle drops in her other movies, and so the restraint at not having Bush’s “Wuthering Heights” show up (possibly ironically) at some point is almost surprising. Anyway, discourse about this will be inescapable for a while, so if you’re reading this around the time this article was published, buckle the f**kle up. Might lead to a good box office haul, if people want to see what the fuss was all about. And speaking of Emerald Fennell movies that were watched by many because people wanted to see what the fuss was all about…

‘Saltburn’ (2023)

…Here’s Saltburn, which had a lot of discourse around it back in 2023, but now it stands to be overtaken hysteria-wise with Wuthering Heights. I’m gonna break the whole objective reporting thing and just say it. I don’t get why people don’t like Saltburn. I think Saltburn’s great. It’s baby’s first transgressive film, which is to say that if Saltburn really freaked you out or made you too uncomfortable, then you need to watch more movies, preferably non-English-language ones that are trying to be boundary-pushing. Saltburn is a comfort movie compared to a lot of genuine exploitation films or, like, the New French Extremity (a real film movement, look it up). Saltburn is supposed to make you feel uneasy, and parts are indeed gross, but that people seemed to get so shocked was weird.

And it was a misunderstood movie. People either thought it was overly complicated or too simplistic, but I thought it hit the sweet spot. Again, a good entry-level transgressive movie. A bit challenging and out-there, but also incredibly well-paced and easy to get into. It’s also got a little more nuance, or at least a more interesting angle, than some of the other late 2010s or early 2020s movies that tackled class conflict, probably doing a better job at it than The Menu or Glass Onion (it’s no Parasite, if you want to highlight the best within that sub-genre, but that’s a high bar to clear). Saltburn probably benefited from dropping on a streaming service that lots of people had, because everyone checked it out, and some people were not ready for it. And then some people who have seen more shocking movies probably checked it out and found it all a bit mild. So you have two major groups of people disliking Saltburn for different reasons, and maybe that means it’s objectively messy, but it worked for me. I found it to be a blast, with a good mix of inevitability and shock found in the story that was told, and aesthetically, it scratched an itch so thoroughly, just the way it looked and sounded. Also, Barry Keoghan might well have given the performance of 2023. In the interest of offending people while talking about a movie like this, Keoghan deserved the Best Actor Oscar over Cillian Murphy in Oppenheimer, and it wasn’t even close, even though he wasn’t nominated. If that makes you angry, GOOD. It is spiritually in line with Saltburn or whatever.

‘Promising Young Woman’ (2020)

Carey Mulligan as Cassie Thomas dressed as a nurse in 'Promising-Young-Woman' Image via Focus Features

Still controversial in some ways (mostly regarding the ending), but not to the same extent as Wuthering Heights or Saltburn, here’s Promising Young Woman. It was Fennell’s first film, it still stands as her most direct/straightforward, and it’s also probably – as of 2026, at least – her best film. It’s about a woman who has a unique approach toward being a vigilante of sorts, targeting men who target or try to take advantage of her sexually, and then there are some further reveals about what’s pushed her to do these things. Also, the whole endeavor becomes riskier the deeper she goes with what she’s ultimately trying to do, and Promising Young Woman really gets unnerving, as a result. That’s an understatement, but also, overstating things feels like it runs the risk of ruining what’s probably Fennell’s least-discussed film.

And Promising Young Woman does benefit immensely from going in without knowing too much, which is the case for a great many thrillers, of course. It might not be a perfect movie, and people have brought up valid criticisms of parts of it, but it is incredibly well-written and unique, all the while also having what might well be a career-best performance by Carey Mulligan in the central role. Of all the Emerald Fennell films, it does the most things right and the fewest things wrong, all the while still managing to provoke and unsettle in largely appropriate/justified ways. It feels weird to call something the right kind of boundary-pushing, since that’s subjective and hard to really explain one way or another, but that’s the feeling I guess I get from Promising Young Woman.
