Eric Dane’s Ex-Girlfriend Makes Rare Comment on His Death
Eric Dane’s ex-girlfriend Priya Jain has opened up about her grief over the late actor’s death at age 53 following a battle with ALS.
“I’m processing,” Jain, 28, told TMZ outside West Hollywood hotspot The Abbey on Friday, March 13,
When asked to share her favorite memory with Dane, Jain replied, “All of them!”
“Eric was a great guy … I’m glad his kids are there to keep his legacy alive,” she added. “He was a great guy. It’s just awful.”
Dane’s family confirmed on February 19 that the former Grey’s Anatomy star had died nearly a year after publicly announcing his ALS diagnosis. (Per the Mayo Clinic, ALS is a “nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord,” causing a progressive loss of muscle control over time.)
“With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS,” his family told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world.”

The statement went on, “Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he’s received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time.”
Us exclusively reported on February 24 that Jain made a $10,000 donation to a GoFundMe fundraiser started by “friends of the Dane family,” which lists his wife Rebecca Gayheart as his “Beneficiary.” The fundraiser has raised more than $489,000 for Dane’s family, as of publication. (Dane and Gayheart separated in February 2018 but never followed through with a divorce. Dane was dating filmmaker and photographer Janell Shirtcliff at the time of his death, while Gayheart has been spotted with billionaire Peter Morton in recent years.)
Jain — an actress who costarred with Josh Duhamel in the 2025 movie Not Without Hope — was with Dane for nearly a year, after initially being linked in November 2024. Us confirmed in February that the exes were on good terms at the time of Dane’s death.

“In the months leading up to Eric’s passing Priya and Eric reconnected their relationship as friends,” a source told Us. “It was more important for them to remain friends [following their split].”
Us learned that Priya didn’t think Dane’s death “would happen this quickly” since he only went public with his ALS diagnosis in April 2025. An insider shared that Priya had “so much love” for Dane following his diagnosis and she “knows how hard this is for his daughters.”
“She has a lot of love for his family,” the source added.
Earlier this week, Dane’s wife Gayheart, 54, admitted that her family was still in “a state of shock” over losing him.
“It’s been challenging and meaningful, and people are kind,” she told Variety on Wednesday, March 11. “I’m having trouble receiving all of the support and love coming at me from every which way because of Eric and the [entertainment] community that’s so generous with their time.”
Gayheart went on, “[Friends and family have] been holding me and the girls up the last two weeks, and I don’t think they’re going anywhere. I think they’re in it for the long haul. Hollywood gets a bad rap. That kind of makes me mad, because we have a lovely community of people, and I’m so grateful for them.”

Gucci Mane Case Surveillance, Lawyer Responds
Gucci’s Kidnapping Lasted About An 1 Hour, Here’s What Happened
Gucci Mane’s January 10 encounter with Pooh Shiesty and his team in Dallas sounds straight out of a movie. According to the criminal complaint, the victims—including Gucci, his head of security, another guard, and two other victims—reportedly flew into the city for a “business meeting.” Pooh called the meeting to request release from his 2021 contract. Gucci and his people arrived at the studio at 1:45 p.m., but after realizing it was closed, they traveled to a liquor store, grabbing liquor and cups. The owner opened the studio around 3:15 p.m., after Pooh Shiesty’s dad made contact, attempting to book a session for Gucci and Pooh.
Surveillance shows Pooh’s dad outside at 3:27 p.m. on the phone, and entering the building about one minute later. A studio employee arrived at about 3:39 p.m. Pooh and his dad were standing outside. A couple of minutes later, at 3:43 p.m., the dad, son, and seven others accused in the criminal complaint walked into the building. One of the accused left and came back with a bag over his shoulder. Then, they all went to the control room, where Gucci and two victims were watching a football game. Head of security was in the studio lobby, and the other guard was in Gucci’s vehicle.
Gucci and two others allegedly overheard Pooh Shiesty talking on his cellphone—possibly with a probation or parole officer. He allegedly claimed he had permission to be out for “rec time,” though he was promptly told to return immediately. Pooh, who was wearing an ankle monitor, agreed.

Gucci suggested they reschedule the studio session, and Pooh Shiesty asked to speak to him privately in the attached recording room. Gucci agreed, entering the room alongside Pooh’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr., and rapper Big30. Meanwhile, the other victims stayed behind in the control room with six more crew members, still watching the game.
In the recording room, Pooh Shiesty pulled out the contract release and told Gucci Mane to sign them. He refused, and amid an argument, Pooh told Big30 to get his bag. When Big30 returned, Pooh allegedly pulled out and pointed an AK-style pistol at Gucci. Big 30 allegedly recording Gucci signing the papers and being forced to say Pooh Shiesty is “released.” After Gucci signed, Pooh took his wedding ring, watch, earrings and cash. He then forced the rapper to add the date on the contract at his father’s suggestion.
As Pooh, his dad, Big 30, and Gucci walked out of the recording room, the other crew members blocked exits and held the remaining victims at gunpoint. They stole watches, jewelry, and cash. The nine accused left the building at around 4:48 p.m.

5 Great Action Movies That Marked the End of an Era
Action movies, like any major genre, have gone through many different phases and eras. Changing sensibilities, rising and falling stars, and developing technologies have all contributed to the many shifts the genre has seen. As with all trends, the divisional lines aren’t always easy to draw. The styles and themes of one era can bleed over into another, while stars and directors can transition as well. It’s often easier to spot the films that are the beginning of an era rather than the end of one, especially since the rise of post-modern cinema, where movies are in constant conversation with their influences. In retrospect, though, there are those movies that can be looked at as the last of their kind.
From the ends of two different eras of action heroes to those final films in franchises that will never be the same, some of these movies were designed to be final statements, while others were made blissfully ignorant of the place in history they would hold. That doesn’t have any effect on the quality of the individual films themselves, as they are all, in their own ways, great action movies. They represent some of the most major blockbusters and influential films featuring some of the biggest stars and iconic characters of the genre. Every era must come to an end, and these action movies all ended theirs in style.
‘First Blood’ (1982)
The Hollywood action heroes of the ’70s were gritty, cynical, and often damaged, while the ones from the ’80s were musclebound, indestructible superhumans; you can see the transition in one film and one character. First Blood introduced audiences to John Rambo, the Vietnam vet protagonist from David Morrell‘s novel, whose harassment at the hands of some small-town cops triggers his post-traumatic stress response and leads him to wage a one-man war against them. As played by Sylvester Stallone, Rambo embodies all the physicality that would define ’80s action heroes but represents the broken, disenfranchised, anti-authority attitude of the ’70s. The film itself is likewise of a grittier and more grounded nature, more indicative of the ’70s action era. Rambo doesn’t rack up a high body count, only inadvertently causing a single death, and he doesn’t end the film with explosive triumph. He’s led away in handcuffs and covered with a blanket after suffering a mental breakdown.
By the time Rambo returned for his first sequel, his vulnerability had vanished. Stallone was even bigger and bulkier than before, and the character was sent back to Vietnam to save some POWs and win the war that had haunted American conservatives. It’s the same transition that many anti-heroes from the ’70s went through in the Reagan-era ’80s. Charles Bronson went from a violent vigilante in Death Wish to an avenging action hero in its first sequel, and Stallone’s other iconic character, Rocky, went from scrappy underdog to winning the Cold War. The ’80s were all about optimism, excess and unstoppable action heroes. Rambo was the poster child for ’80s action, but his origin story marked the end of the gritty action hero era.
‘Hard Boiled’ (1992)
John Woo helped to build the Heroic Bloodshed action era, with his film A Better Tomorrow often cited as its beginning. This specific brand of Hong Kong action movie featured glorious gun battles, gangsters versus cops narratives, and themes of honor and brotherhood. Woo didn’t just start the era; he also delivered its definitive statement with Hard Boiled. Technically, this action masterpiece isn’t the last Heroic Bloodshed movie ever made, but it definitely marked the end of its original era. Filmmakers like Johnnie To would carry the action torch well into the ’90s and 2000s, while the subgenre’s most major filmmakers, like Woo, Ringo Lam, and Tsui Hark, all made brief transitions to Hollywood, where they continued to make films featuring many of the techniques and trademarks they had pioneered. Other filmmakers, like Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, also adopted many of the signatures of Heroic Bloodshed into their filmographies, making the transition all the murkier, but Hard Boiled is a proper exclamation point.
Chow Yun-fat, who starred in the majority of Woo’s Hong Kong action films, stars as Tequila, a cop with a penchant for dual-wielding pistols and causing maximum carnage. He’s the counterpoint to Tony Leung‘s tortured undercover officer, with the two fighting from opposite ends to take down a dangerous Triad leader. It’s on that plot that Woo hangs his greatest action sequences, with an opening tea house shootout, a warehouse gunfight, and the extended finale set within a hospital. Hard Boiled is as good as action movies get, and Woo and the Heroic Bloodshed subgenre were never as good again. It marked the end of one of the greatest eras in all of action cinema.
‘Eraser’ (1996)
Where First Blood was the clear pivot from gritty to hulking action heroes, the end of that muscular action era is slightly harder to pinpoint. Many point to Tango & Cash as the last of the over-the-top ’80s action movies, but it’s hard to count it as the end of the era when its most major stars still had their biggest action hits coming. Last Action Hero also often gets listed as the seemingly most appropriate final film of the era, as a full parody of a genre that had already grown into self-parody, but star Arnold Schwarzenegger still had two more earnest big-budget action blockbusters in him. He would re-team with James Cameron for the utterly ridiculous and ridiculously entertaining True Lies, and then, in 1996, he closed out the action hero era with the underrated Eraser. Coming from steady-handed genre director Chuck Russell, this old-school action movie features a little bit of everything from its predecessors.
The film has a high-concept plot that features Schwarzenegger as a U.S. Marshal whose special skill is making witnesses disappear, a villain played by an acclaimed actor (James Caan), and some of the slick CGI that had begun to creep into the genre in the ’90s and has not aged well. Eraser may not be top-tier Schwarzenegger, but it’s certainly the last time audiences could enjoy the larger-than-life action hero in a larger-than-life action movie that wasn’t produced as some nostalgic throwback. There’s a sincerity to it that later movies like The Expendables have never been able to replicate, which is why it’s often considered the end of Schwarzenegger’s golden age of movie stardom and the action hero era as a whole.
‘Avengers: Endgame’ (2019)
No matter how you feel about the MCU, there’s no arguing that it represented a paradigm shift for blockbusters. Thanks to the success of the superhero mega-franchise, every studio and streamer tried to turn every IP they had into a cinematic universe, but despite all their efforts, none came close to the consistency or success of what Marvel accomplished. After the first era of the MCU, dubbed the Infinity Saga, came to an end a mere eleven years after Iron Man premiered with the undeniably epic Avengers: Endgame, it represented the culmination of one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood history, and it will likely never be replicated. The DCEU imploded in on itself, and even the MCU hasn’t been able to maintain the cultural foothold it once held in a post-COVID, streaming-dominated film landscape.
Bringing the original Avengers back together after they’d been split up and separated in their last film, Endgame is all about giving a proper send-off to the characters that had formed the foundations of the MCU. Black Widow and Iron Man both sacrifice themselves, while Captain America gets to live out the rest of his life slow dancing with Peggy Carter. Even though Scarlett Johansson came back for a spin-off two years later, and Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are returning to the fold, along with seemingly every other actor to ever appear in a Marvel property, for Avengers: Doomsday, there’s something effectively emotional in Endgame’s finale that felt satisfying in 2019. It’s a crowd-pleasing blockbuster, and even if it ends up being relatively minor as a singular film in the grand scheme of action cinema, Endgame was still the end of the biggest cinematic superhero era audiences will likely ever see.
‘No Time to Die’ (2021)
The James Bond franchise has gone through many eras. With every new iteration of the secret agent played by a new actor, the franchise evolved into something different. George Lazenby brought Bond emotional poignancy and tragedy in his one-film stint before Sean Connery returned to the role he originated. Then Roger Moore took over and brought all kinds of humor and outlandish antics to the character before Timothy Dalton brought him back down to earth with a gritty pair of much angrier Bond films. Pierce Brosnan found a solid balance between those tones before eventually getting swallowed up in CGI and gadgetry, and then Daniel Craig rebooted the character for the 21st century with the toughest, gloomiest Bond yet. Every one of those Bond actors’ final films could be considered the end of an era, but Craig’s final bow in No Time to Die is easily the most definitive.
With a convoluted plot that brings together disparate threads from the previous four films, No Time to Die pushes Bond to his limits as he must reckon with his past and that of his paramour, Madeleine Swann. The lengthy movie makes room for lots of emotional character beats as well as some solid action setpieces set all across the globe before it culminates in a controversial ending where Bond does the one thing he’d never done before: die. By the time the credits roll, Bond is definitively dead, and while the filmmakers knew it would be Craig’s swan song, which likely contributed to the decision to end it this way, they couldn’t have known how fitting it would become. Amazon’s purchase of the Bond franchise effectively ended the legacy of EON Productions’ creative control, a legacy that had begun with the very first film. There’s no telling what the future of Bond will look like now that he’s under the umbrella of a real-life Blofeld, but it’s safe to say that No Time to Die, for better or worse, was the end of an era for the character.

Supergirl Star Claims People Are Upset She’s A Woman
By Jennifer Asencio
| Published

Supergirl star Milly Alcock is already worried about her movie. The actress told Variety that she’s already expecting “backlash” for playing the character, given that she’s a woman in a superhero role.
“It definitely made me aware that simply existing as a woman in that space is something that people comment on,” she said in the interview. “We have become very comfortable having this weird ownership of women’s bodies. I can’t really stop them. I can only be myself.”
Alcock was a little more fair to classic directors Ridley Scott and Martin Scorsese for their derisive comments about superhero films, offering a nod to their “phenomenal films” and admitting that “Not every film is for everyone.”
Variety Is Not A Trustworthy Source

As much as Alcock’s statement about women in superhero films has faced backlash of its own, I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt here. After all, the story was presented by Variety, who recently attacked both Chuck Norris and Brigitte Bardot after their deaths with posthumous hit pieces.
The magazine has also been happy to amplify and invent accusations of bigotry against detractors of bad shows from popular franchises like The Acolyte and Starfleet Academy. So, I’m not sure how much of the interview was arranged to give the impression that Alcock was making the activist statement the publication is eager to imply.
Milly Alcock Should Be Used To Body Scrutiny

After all, Milly Alcock is a veteran of the Game of Thrones franchise, known for its graphic sex and nudity. The actress did have a few racy scenes on the show. Being associated with that character would organically subject the actress to scrutiny. In that respect, women’s bodies are definitely “commented on.”
However, so are men’s. The most recent addition to the Game of Thrones franchise, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, shows men in various states of undress, even graphically waving around parts that only Game of Thrones fans can tolerate.
As much as we comment on how sexy women might be, we comment on men just as often for six-pack abs and handsome faces. The superhero space is full of peak-fitness characters like Thor, Wolverine, and Superman himself. A well-dressed, well-groomed man is lusted over just as much as a sexy starlet. When it comes to actors, audiences, and even the productions themselves do “claim ownership of… bodies,” but Alcock is wrong to suggest that it is exclusively women’s bodies.
The Difference Between Catwoman And Storm

It’s also not like other superhero roles haven’t been played by women. The X-Men and The Avengers movies feature lots of female superheroes, like Jean Grey, Black Widow, and Storm. Actresses like Famke Janning, Sophie Turner, Scarlett Johannsen, and Halle Berry never received unusual scrutiny from those roles that Alcock is projecting about; Berry did receive it for another superhero role she played: Catwoman.
What was the difference between Catwoman and Storm? The Catwoman movie was a critical failure because it had a weak story that didn’t resonate with fans. That’s not the fault of the actress, either.
Wonder Woman didn’t have that problem, but Wonder Woman 1984 did, so the first was a critical success and the second a critical failure. Since Gal Gadot played the role both times, what made it different? The same things that made Halle Berry’s roles different: Wonder Woman 1984 was just not a good movie.
The Real Reason Milly Alcock Faces Scrutiny

The main reason Alcock’s rendition of Supergirl is receiving so much “commentary” isn’t really because of Alcock herself. The first trailer introduced a character who was gratuitously dysfunctional and literally urinated all over what the Superman franchise represents. The movie’s slogan, “Truth. Justice. Whatever,” also spits in the face of Superman lore because the character is like an alien paladin with a strong moral compass.
To top it off, the recent Superman movie was also not well received by many fans, who felt the character was subjected to presentism and modern identity politics; the initial Supergirl trailer hinted at more of the things fans hated about the Superman movie and none of the things they liked.
There’s Hope For Supergirl

After the release of the second trailer, some of these concerns seem to have been dispelled. What seemed to be a gratuitously absurd take is shaping up to be a strong story that has the potential to offset the concerns left over from Superman. I’ve been told it follows the canon storyline and introduces a Kara Jor-El who is dealing with consequences that the Melissa Benoist, Sasha Calle, or even Helen Slater renditions never really addressed.
Kara was a young adolescent when Krypton was destroyed, unlike Clark, who was an infant. She remembers what she lost. A portrayal of her as something other than a plucky female version of Clark’s optimism is deeply within the realm of the comics.
If the movie is good, Alcock will probably enjoy the “ownership” fans think they have over her body, as she seems to have with House of the Dragon. If it sucks, it probably won’t be blamed entirely on Alcock, even if she takes it the same way the Starfleet Academy cast who have invented “other reasons” their show wasn’t a hit.
However, given the unreliable source, potential viewers should remain skeptical that Milly Alocock’s words were printed as she intended and not presented in a way that makes her look more controversial than she is.

The Hottest Sci-Fi Book Series Is Officially Getting A TV Show, From The Orville’s Creator
By Chris Snellgrove
| Published

If you’re a fan of sci-fi TV, it can be very difficult to find something that feels new and refreshing. After all, most sci-fi shows are trying to be like Star Trek, except for Star Trek, which is doing its best Star Wars impression. Star Wars, meanwhile, has no idea what it wants to do, which is why the last few years of TV shows have felt like an absolute fever dream.
Fortunately, the TV landscape is about to get a sci-fi show unlike any we have seen before. Peacock is adapting Matt Dinniman’s popular Dungeon Crawler Carl series of books into a new show that will be written by Chris Yost and executive-produced by Seth McFarlane. With the author planning to release 10 books (seven have been released so far), Dungeon Crawler Carl is poised to be one of the longest and most innovative sci-fi shows of the modern entertainment age.
Into The Dungeon

What is Dungeon Crawler Carl about, exactly? In the first book, aliens invade the Earth, flattening structures and killing most of the population. Survivors are encouraged to enter a video game-style dungeon in which they can level up, develop special skills, and employ any number of colorful powerups. Carl enters the dungeon with his pet cat, Princess Donut, who is transformed into an intelligent warrior thanks to an enhanced pet biscuit. Together, they fight exotic creatures, complete bizarre quests, and seek sponsors from a galaxy of eager viewers. Descending one floor at a time, this deadly duo has a simple mission: to get out or die trying.
Universal International Studios snagged the TV rights to Dungeon Crawler Carl in 2025, but there have been very few announcements about the show (including what network streaming platform it might appear on) for over a year. Now, it is confirmed that the show will stream on Peacock, and its creative pedigree should make sci-fi fans quite excited. Chris Yost has previously written fan-favorite movies like Thor: Ragnarok and shows like The Mandalorian. Seth McFarlane, meanwhile, is the showrunner for The Orville, which many consider a better Star Trek show than anything in NuTrek. McFarlane’s production company, Fuzzy Door, also has extensive experience in bringing talking critters like Princess Donut to life.
Matt Dinniman’s Own Platinum Awards Box

So far, that’s all we know about the Dungeon Crawler Carl show. There is no release date, and we don’t yet know who will play voice Princess Donut, play Carl, or otherwise bring this bizarre sci-fi universe to life. Fortunately, in between casting for this upcoming show, fans have plenty to keep them busy. The eighth Dungeon Crawler Carl book is coming out on May 12, and Renegade Studios is releasing both Dungeon Crawler Carl: Unstoppable (a 1-2 player card builder) and Dungeon Crawler Carl: The Roleplaying Game for fans who want to explore the World Dungeon in tabletop form.
We can only assume that Dungeon Crawler Carl creator Matt Dinniman is, like Princess Donut before him, pretty happy to have his own merch, including an upcoming series of toys that can’t get here quickly enough. But a television adaptation is certainly the biggest indicator that his ambitious storytelling has made it to the big time. With the latest Star Trek show getting canceled and Star Wars still reeling from the failure of the Sequel Trilogy, Dungeon Crawler Carl also has the chance to give hungry sci-fi fans something they’ve been asking for for years: something original and new.
Hopefully, he can avoid encouraging the upcoming swarm of new fans with the vulgar catchphrase of his most notorious character: “glurp glurp, motherf*ckers!”

Which The Pitt Stars Are, Aren’t Returning for Season 3 After Exits?
The Pitt has been renewed for season 3, but the news has been overshadowed about who is — and isn’t — coming back after multiple cast exits.
When the medical drama premiered on HBO Max in January 2025, viewers were excited to see Noah Wyle play a doctor again more than after ER. It didn’t take long for Us to fall in love with the entire cast, including Dr. Robby (Wyle), Dr. Collins (Tracy Ifeachor), Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball), charge nurse Dana (Katherine LaNasa), Dr. Mohan (Supriya Ganesh), Dr. McKay (Fiona Dourif), Dr. King (Taylor Dearden), Dr. Santos (Isa Briones), Whitaker (Gerran Howell) and Javadi (Shabana Azeez).
Season 2 looked a little different when most of the cast returned — except Ifeachor. A source told Us Weekly in July 2025 that it was always the plan for Ifeachor’s character — who was a fourth-year resident in the first season — to go on and be a doctor in future installments of the show.
The insider noted that due to the nature of The Pitt, Dr. Collins wouldn’t be in season 2, but Ifeachor “didn’t choose to leave the show” and isn’t aware of “any doors being closed” on a possible return.
The same reasoning was used when news broke that Ganesh wouldn’t reprise her role in season 3. Off screen, fans have expressed frustration at multiple beloved characters not returning for more episodes.
Keep scrolling to see which The Pitt stars are returning for season 3 — and which aren’t:

After leaving the show, Tracy Ifeachor addressed whether she could be back in the future.
“It was just such a joy and a pleasure to play Dr. Heather Collins and to know that my character has been so phenomenally well-received. It just blew me away,” Ifeachor told Us in September 2025. “I don’t know where she will be on the weekend of next season, but I know where I’m going to be, which is on my next project, which is just so amazing. But I take the lessons that I’ve learned from playing Dr. Heather Collins — playing this character who goes through such a traumatic event and still shows up every day for other people.”
She continued: “[No one] stops to ask if she’s OK, if she needs time out, if she needs to run away. I think as a woman, sometimes we carry a lot of emotional labor without even knowing it. I’ve learned that through this character, so I wouldn’t change that. This experience has been so life-changing, really.”
Patrick Ball

Season 2 showed Langdon returning to work after struggling with drug addiction, which presumably will continue to be explored.

28 Years Later, Steven Spielberg’s WWII Masterpiece Returns to Streaming
Every other week, streaming platforms release content aimed directly at dads, be it shows such as Reacher and Bosch, or new spin-offs in Taylor Sheridan‘s Yellowstone universe. Recently, the same demographic has enjoyed the Russell Crowe-led historical drama Nuremberg, which grossed nearly $50 million at the worldwide box office in its theatrical run and then became a word-of-mouth hit at home. The movie holds a phenomenal 95% audience score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. Older male audiences are typically drawn to procedurals and period dramas, which is why movies and shows in which men get the job done perform well on streaming. There is no better example of this sub-category than Steven Spielberg‘s celebrated World War II epic Saving Private Ryan, the ultimate dudes-rock movie.
Released in 1998, the film redefined the genre with its gritty camerawork and sweeping anti-war sentiment. Saving Private Ryan is widely regarded as the greatest World War II movie ever made; it won Spielberg the Best Director Oscar and was nominated alongside fellow WWII epic The Thin Red Line in the Best Picture category. The movie now holds a 94% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the critics’ consensus reads, “Anchored by another winning performance from Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg’s unflinchingly realistic war film virtually redefines the genre.” In addition to Hanks, the movie featured a sprawling ensemble including Matt Damon, Edward Burns, and Tom Sizemore.

Here’s Where You Can Watch ‘Saving Private Ryan’
Saving Private Ryan was a massive box-office hit, grossing more than $480 million worldwide against a reported budget of $70 million. This was nearly five times as much as The Thin Red Line. Saving Private Ryan remained the top-grossing WWII movie of all time until it was overtaken by Christopher Nolan‘s Dunkirk, which was subsequently overtaken by Nolan’s own Oppenheimer. Spielberg and Hanks reunited as executive producers on a trio of WWII drama shows inspired by Saving Private Ryan — Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and Masters of the Air. Hanks also co-produced and starred in the WWII thriller Greyhound, which is set to receive a sequel. You can watch Saving Private Ryan on Paramount+ this month. Claressa Shields Drops Steamy Response To Papoose’s Comment
Roommates, y’all already know Claressa Shields does NOT play about Papoose. She dropped some new flicks on social media, and the comments went crazy — but once Papoose slid in with some words, chileeee, everything paused! And of course, Claressa came right back at him with some spicy energy — no filter and no holding back!

Papoose Speaks Up & Claressa Shields Responds With Some HEAT
On Friday, April 3, Claressa Shields popped out on Instagram in some fresh flicks. The Gwoat showed off two looks and had the timeline locked in. Pap clearly felt the vibe, sliding into her comment section and showing love with fire and heart-eye emojis. Claressa made sure to hit reply, telling her man, “ofc you love my pics the most, you got the special ones earlier (.) (.). Love you.” Claressa didn’t stop at showing love to her man in her own comments. She pulled up To The Shade Room and doubled down on him being her number one writing, “My man My man, my man, everyday and 2x on Sunday 🔥 ❤️✌🏾”
Claressa Handles The Comments & Claps Back At Critics
Even though Claressa stayed locked in on the love from Papoose, she still peeped a few other comments. She wasted no time clapping back when one Instagram user wrote, “You and @meekmill can be a power couple,” and she hit them right back with, “that’s my uncle chill out n****h.” When another social media user tried to come for her shoes, Claressa wasn’t having it. She responded back saying, “I’m not gone lie both shoes ate with this fit to me. No shade.”
The Gwoat Shuts Down Narratives That Papoose Is After Her Money
Claressa clapping back and shutting down rumors is nothing new. She recently put the speculation to rest about Pap being with her for her money. During a recent chat with The Breakfast Club, Shields doubled down on her man being solid, saying when it comes to cash, he always has her back. Bills paid, flights booked, hotels secured–nobody is topping him.
“That’s how they paint out narratives. But I will tell you something, though. Pap pays my mortgage. Pap pays my car insurance, and my car note. And what else does he do? I haven’t paid for a flight or for a hotel in I don’t know how long […] that’s a man right there!”
