Mike Sorrentino Opening His Own Addiction and Mental Health Treatment Centers

Another reality TV star is considering a career in politics.

“I’d like to save lives for the next three to five years, with Archangel centers,” Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino told local New Jersey news outlet News 12 on Thursday, May 28, while attending the VUE Magazine spring edition party in state’s Wall Township.

“I’d like to have an Archangels center in every 50 states [sic], and after that, you know, I will introduce everybody to Governor Situation,” the reality TV star added, seemingly announcing his plans to run for office sometime in the future.

When asked if he would enter the political arena as a Republican or a Democrat, Sorrentino, 43, played coy.

“If you had told me 10 years ago that the U.S. government would send me to prison, strip me of my passport and voting rights, and hit me with millions in penalties, I would have thought it was game over,” the reality TV star wrote via Instagram at the time. “But here I am — living proof that the comeback is always greater than the setback.”

(Sorrentino spent eight months in federal prison for tax evasion after failing to pay $8.9 million in taxes. He was released in 2019.)

He continued, “Against all odds, I turned my life around. Today, I’m happily married with three amazing kids, a published author, nine years sober, and about to launch my own treatment centers: @thearchangelcenters. What once seemed impossible is now my reality.”

Sorrentino, who married wife Lauren Sorrentino in November 2018, previously opened up to Us Weekly about his substance abuse struggles.

“I had an obsessive personality and everything I did was zero or a hundred,” he told Us in November 2023. “Once you get into that life of excess, whether it’s drugs, women, money, success, a lot of people don’t make it out.”

If Sorrentino should enter into politics, he will join a growing list of reality TV stars who have decided to run for office, including current President Donald Trump, Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and The Hills alum Spencer Pratt, who is currently running for mayor of Los Angeles.

“Not a reality star,” Lisa Rinna said of Pratt’s mayoral campaign, before evoking Trump and his presidency. “I love him [Pratt], but we’ve already done that. We’re not going to do that again. You got me, because listen, I’m a reality person. I wouldn’t want me as mayor, really. I mean, let’s just face it, I love him [Pratt]. I think he’s amazing. I just think we did that.”

While many have denounced Pratt’s campaign citing his reality TV background and lack of experience, others have thrown their weight behind the TV personality.

“I’m actually excited,” Audrina Patridge exclusively told Us on May 1 of her former castmate’s political ambitions. “He impressed me. I listened to some of his interviews, and at first when I heard, I was like, ‘Wait, is he really doing it? Is it a joke? Is it real?’ But he is, and he is very intelligent, and I think that he would make a lot of change to L.A. and he would follow through with what he said.”

Whitney posted a TikTok of her and her husband, Conner, dancing to a viral sound. Over top of the clip, the “SLOMW” reality star wrote, “Y’all keep asking for a Levitt reality show… careful what you wish for.” She also added several emojis—a smirking face, a pair of lurking eyeballs, and a video camera. Whitney captioned the clip: “Levitt Media House Productions has been busy,” followed by the same emojis as above.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Whitney announced that she was starting a production company. Right after that announcement, the mother of three said that the company was already “working on something big!!!!!”

Whitney rose to fame as part of the group MomTok and garnered even more attention as an original cast member of “SLOMW.” After five seasons, though, Whitney said it was time to say goodbye to the part of her life.

During her final performance as Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical “Chicago,” Whitney announced her exit. “Oh, what is that?” her character, Hart, said in the viral clip. “Whitney Leavitt announces she’s leaving ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.’”

Her exit didn’t come as much of a surprise, considering the fact that she teased her departure in March 2026. “Well, I’m figuring it out in real time,” she said at the time, according to The Blast. “We’re figuring it out together, but it feels like that’s the trajectory of where it’s going.”

While she’s turning the page on an important part of her story, Whitney said she feels confident about her decision to say goodbye.

“It’s been about four years of my life,” she said. “Every time I left, it wasn’t with gratitude. But this time it is. It just feels like a chapter that’s closing in my life. My cup is full, and it just feels like it’s time. So I’m excited.”

She opened up about her departure from the popular series with an Instagram post, saying, “We have been through so much together, even more than what you’ve seen. We’ve had really big highs, really big lows and no matter what happens with our relationships like that is something that will always be a part of our life, will always be a part of my life and I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Speaking with Kelly Clarkson on her show, Leavitt shared a similar message, telling the singer-songwriter that she feels “content.”

“I feel like this is a chapter that’s closing in my life and honestly, I believe that’s how it was always meant to be. I’m so grateful for ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.’ It’s got me where I am today. It’s given me the opportunities that you all have seen but I’m ready. I’m ready for the next chapter and I cannot wait to share with you guys what’s next,” she explained.

Some of Whitney and Conner’s fans have reacted to the news of a possible Leavitt family reality show with glee.

One user posted, “Honestly, this potential New York series seems way more fun. ‘SLOMW’ really dropped the ball when they stopped filming she had so much going on since moving there that people wanted to see.”

Another said, “Yayy, I love this couple! From someone who doesn’t have social media, thanks for posting OP!”

“I will be seated,” said another. “I want to know more about her relationship with Mormonism now.”

“I’m not saying this in a hating way, genuinely curious if they would have enough content for a show that would be interesting of just her since the slomw is based on like 6 peoples lives and how they interact aka much more content, interesting dynamics, and drama which is largely why people watch,” someone posted.

“A reality show if just them two = boringgggg. A reality show where she is on there with other cast members. Like a slomv nyc spinoff.. sure why not. She can’t hold a show though. She is performative and too animated which screams fake for cameras. If she can’t be vulnerable and REAL, then it won’t go anywhere after 1 season,” said another.

Looks like viewers will just have to wait and see.

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Roomies, a group of friends in Pennsylvania reportedly spent part of the evening hanging out in a bedroom, but what authorities say unfolded next has now left one young man dead and two others facing criminal charges. The incident involves Xavier Jeffers and his friends, Denajah Bailey and Amaury Sahad. Investigators say it all started when friends passed around a stolen firearm. Now, details from the investigation are shedding light on the moments leading up to the tragic situation.

What Started As Friends Hanging Out Ended Tragically

According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, prosecutors charge 20-year-old Denajah Bailey with third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, possessing an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering another person in connection with the death of 21-year-old Xavier Jeffers.

Authorities allege that on May 20, Bailey, Jeffers, and Amaury Sahad sat inside Bailey’s bedroom in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and handled a firearm that investigators say Sahad illegally obtained. Prosecutors claim that after Bailey got possession of the weapon, she pointed it at Jeffers while the two were sitting on her bed and pulled the trigger, striking him in the head.

Authorities Say A Witness Was Watching Through FaceTime

Investigators also revealed that a fourth individual was reportedly witnessing parts of the evening through a FaceTime call with Jeffers. According to court documents, the caller allegedly saw the group passing the firearm around and pretending to shoot one another before hearing a gunshot. Reports state that moments later, the phone fell to the floor, and someone could allegedly be heard asking, “What did you do?” Authorities say a 911 call was then placed reporting an accidental shooting.

10 Greatest Documentaries of the Last 10 Years, Ranked

Published

on

JR and Agnès Varda making silly faces while posing in front of a wall with a goat print in it in Faces Places

Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. And sometimes it’s more fascinating, too. While we often seek out scripted movies to escape, documentaries serve as our way of learning the truth about a specific moment, movement, or person — something so richly worth telling that a dramatized depiction wouldn’t do it justice. While documentaries never reach the same level as blockbusters, they can be just as important and profound.

Over the last 10 years, the world of documentaries has taken audiences to daring and risky places, as they told stories some have never dared to tell. From individuals who fought for freedom and rights to those who helped shape who we are today, the topics on this list are wide-ranging and unique. What they have in common is that they are great. If you’re not a documentary person, these 10 films might change that.

Sometimes it’s just a human connection through art that is the most profound. The French film Faces Places follows legendary French New Wave filmmaker Agnès Varda and renowned street artist/photographer JR as they journey through the French countryside in a van equipped with a portable photo booth. Along the way, colossal black-and-white portraits of everyday people are plastered on the sides of barns, houses, and water towers. While honoring the forgotten, the film’s core theme is the intergenerational bond between a young, camera-obsessed JR and the aging, visually impaired cinematic icon Varda.

Faces Places is a memory film that is nothing short of charming. The duo is on a mission to celebrate the ordinary, but in the process, it’s their bond that becomes the allure. While their heroic acts turn the mundane into something extraordinary, Varda and JR push one another creatively and emotionally. Faces Places serves as a touching meditation on aging and memory, grounded in hope and joy. The profound beauty of humanity is alive and well in Faces Places. This documentary proves there is still good in this world.

‘Summer of Soul’ (2021)

A man performing on stage before a large crowd in Summer of Soul Image via Searchlight Pictures

Perhaps one of the more recognizable titles on this list is Summer of Soul. A documentary that’s more than a celebration of music, Summer of Soul is an unprecedented exploration of the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival. Directed by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, the electrifying film restores archival footage of the six-week festival to celebrate Black joy, culture, and the healing power of music. Rescuing legendary performances by artists like Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, and Sly and the Family Stone, Summer of Soul gave audiences a chance to witness a significant cultural event.

Rather than depict the dark times of the decade, Summer of Soul opts for a genuine celebration of pride and community. It serves as a reminder that there were significant moments beyond the moon landing and Woodstock in 1969. With a DJ and music producer at the helm, it infuses its storytelling with a toe-tapping rhythm and cadence that match the film’s tight pacing. With contemporary interviews from both festival attendees and the artists themselves, Summer of Soul puts the moment in the context of the broader Civil Rights movement and the era’s shifting cultural attitudes. A masterpiece for its technical achievements and historical storytelling, Summer of Soul deserved the Oscar.

‘Collective’ (2019)

Collective - 2019 (1) Image via Magnolia Pictures

Perhaps one of the most devastating documentaries about a harrowing event, Collective, directed, written, produced, shot, and edited by Alexander Nanau, follows the aftermath of a 2015 Bucharest nightclub fire that killed 64 people. Nanau’s film exposes systemic corruption within the Romanian healthcare system, detailing how diluted hospital disinfectants led to the deaths of burn victims who otherwise would have survived. Through parallel tracks — investigative journalists at the Gazeta Sporturilor newspaper and whistleblower, Vlad Voiculescu, the newly appointed, reform-minded Health Minister — the film serves as a real-life, gripping look at the importance of a free press, the dangers of political greed, and how everyday citizens suffer when governments prioritize profit over human lives.

A heavily acclaimed near-perfect film, Collective transcends standard true-crime or tragedy coverage, instead delivering a blistering examination of institutional corruption and the mechanics of democracy. Through a strict fly-on-the-wall approach with no manipulative musical score or talking-head interviews, Collective puts the power in the viewer’s hands. In turn, it creates a powerful display of how journalists, medical informants, and the surviving victims who refused to stay silent activated a social change.

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

Don’t let the title fool you — My Octopus Teacher is a delightful documentary. Directed by Pippa Ehrlich and James Reed, My Octopus Teacher chronicles filmmaker Craig Foster as he begins daily freediving in a South African kelp forest, experiencing burnout and depression. In the process, Foster fosters a profound, year-long friendship with a wild octopus, which teaches him about the fragility of life and our connection to nature. The film is meant to challenge our traditional boundaries between humans and wild animals while also depicting the harsh realities of ocean life.

If My Octopus Teacher didn’t give you a desire to dive deep into the conservation conversation, nothing will. A profound human journey through the octopus’s world, the documentary is not only emotionally remarkable but cinematically brilliant. The underwater film work is sensational. My Octopus Teacher’s greatest gift is the philosophical lessons that Foster finds. The film is a visual meditation on life, death, and nature’s resilience. It’s a story of personal healing, but also a reminder that nature holds life-altering lessons for humanity.

Many of us grew up with the iconic children’s television program Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, but nary did we think about the man behind the hero: Fred Rogers. In Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, director Morgan Neville brings viewers on a journey through the life, philosophy, and legacy of the beloved creator. An ultimate call for compassion, Won’t You Be My Neighbor? touches on the man behind the sweater who spent his life tackling the world’s toughest topics through his radical, unwavering message that every child is special and worthy of love exactly as they are. Won’t You Be My Neighbor? blends archival footage and interviews with family, friends, and colleagues, serving as an emotional journey through nostalgia that makes Rogers an even more beloved icon.

Perhaps the most profound discovery the documentary highlights is that there was more to the soft-spoken television personality: Rogers was an ordained Presbyterian minister who possessed deep creativity, immense empathy, and occasional moments of self-doubt. Everything you believed about him was genuine, and yet, he was even bigger than we could imagine. Won’t You Be My Neighbor? is an emotionally resonant masterpiece that serves as a rainbow after the storm of our current society.

You most certainly have heard of Alexei Navalny; now his story is brought to life in an extraordinary way. Met with critical acclaim, Navalny, directed by Daniel Roher, chronicles the life, near-fatal assassination attempt, and investigation surrounding the late Russian opposition leader. Winning the Academy Award, Navalny is a gripping, tense real-life political thriller that puts viewers in the midst of the battle between Navalny and his fierce opposition to Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin. A genuine hero’s journey, Navalny provides striking scenes of spy work, a fight for democratic reform, and the grave decision to fly home to take a stand.

Because of the subject’s notoriety, Navalny had an automatic draw for the film. Fortunately, the exceptional execution made the film bigger than anyone could have imagined. Watching him in action is remarkable, but knowing his untimely fate, the heartbreaking climax remains a profound symbol of resilience. It’s inevitable that someone will try to dramatize Navalny’s story for a Hollywood blockbuster, but the fact of the matter is, Roher’s is already as perfect as it’s going to get. Navalny is equally enthralling as it is terrifying.

If you were a fan of the hit Hulu miniseries Dopesick, you’ll most certainly be enamored with Nan Goldin’s remarkable story in the documentary All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, as it puts a face to a fighter. The Oscar-nominated film directed by Laura Poitras chronicles the life of the renowned photographer. Across two timelines, the film is structured into distinct chapters: weaving her personal journey through trauma, addiction, and New York’s underground art scene, and her relentless activist campaign to hold the billionaire Sackler family accountable for the opioid crisis. Together, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed encapsulates Goldin’s belief in the intersection of art and political struggle.

From her present leading the fierce activist group called P.A.I.N. (Prescription Addiction Intervention Now) to her past rebelling and immersing herself in the LGBTQ+, drag, and bohemian communities while fighting against the AIDS epidemic, Poitras brings both times together. The film’s thematic parallel acts as a brilliant argument about how personal trauma and a fervent call to action can be channeled into systemic change. An intensely intimate and private use of storytelling, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed is filled with gravitas and inspiration. The power of the documentary is how it pushed impassioned viewers into taking a stand for themselves.

Sometimes the best subject for a documentary is yourself. Called an autobiographical collage documentary, Cameraperson strips away the traditional narrative to weave together outtakes from Kirsten Johnson’s 25-year career shooting major documentaries, intercutting them with intimate personal footage and exploring the ethical responsibilities of filmmaking and how the camera shapes our memory. More than just a film for film people, Cameraperson goes from epic locales, including postwar Bosnia, Nigeria, and Yemen, to quiet moments with her two young twins, her father, and poignant footage of her mother as she succumbs to Alzheimer’s disease. A simply splendid film, Cameraperson is a love letter to herself.

Cameraperson provides a new perspective on filmmaking. In the process, Johnson questions the emotional and psychological toll placed on the cameraperson who documents the trauma and suffering of others. From there, the ethics of the person behind the lens and the subject are explored as Johnson shares the morality of what’s allowed to be shown. Cameraperson serves as a visual diary of Johnson’s life and career — one she can share with the world. It’s a highlight reel, if you will, but more importantly, Cameraperson is a memory film.

An animated documentary? How can that be? Watch Flee, and you’ll understand. In this international collaboration, Flee tells the true story of “Amin Nawabi,” an Afghan refugee who reveals his traumatic journey to Denmark to his close friend, director Jonas Poher Rasmussen. The film chronicles Amin, who confronts a 20-year secret — that his family was separated while fleeing — to finally build a future with his partner, creating a powerful look at trauma, memory, and the true meaning of “home.” By using animation to protect the subject’s identity while visually recreating his memories, Flee pairs this unique form of art with archival footage to craft a deeply personal account. Flee is a powerful film that bravely explores the multifaceted identity of a refugee, navigating displacement, the loss of a home country, and coming of age as a gay man in Europe.

Through this standout technique, Flee‘s innovative approach invites the audience into Amin’s memory in a way that sparks something universal. It gives Amin an identity beyond “refugee,” painting a grand portrait of a brave man navigating identity. His harrowing, suppressed accounts are captured through this filmmaking technique, which captures the emotional essence of the traumatic events. The film is grounded and rooted in vulnerability. If you were curious as to just how historic Flee is, it marked the first time a film was nominated for Best Documentary, Best Animated Feature, and Best International Feature Film at the Oscars. That’s the mark of something uniquely special.

Perhaps one of the most harrowing and fascinating films, and one that also helped shape Netflix as a streamer, is 13th. Directed by Ava DuVernay, the award-winning documentary examines the history of racial inequality in the United States, arguing that the nation’s prison system is a modern extension of slavery. The title refers to the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery but contains a loophole allowing forced labor as a punishment for a crime. Highlighting alarming statistics and tracing how different administrations, from Nixon, Reagan, and Clinton, shaped mass incarceration, 13th invites viewers in as activists, politicians, historians, and formerly incarcerated individuals educate on the amendment’s history in the face of the modern Black Lives Matter movement.

Through DuVernay’s masterful storytelling, 13th traces the history of racial inequality in the United States, where no one is off the hook. Accountability comes to all sides of the political aisle. Through sobering historical footage and gut-wrenching personal accounts, 13th’s complex academic theory is proven in an accessible and emotional manner. The diverse composition of experts, scholars, and victims gives viewers a necessary multi-faceted view of the crisis without becoming overtly overwhelming. 13th is a documentary that still resonates 10 years later. Perhaps it’s time to revisit it, as much has occurred over this past decade.

Trace Cyrus is calling out his sister, Brandi Cyrus, and accusing her of pulling the wool over his eyes. In his fiery social media post, Trace slammed Brandi for allegedly renting him a “mold-infested” home and refusing to return his money. In his post, Trace said he’s been weighed down by the latest family drama and promised to set firmer boundaries with those closest to him moving forward.

“Alright, story time guys. I’ve tried to be really f-cking nice,” Trace began in one of his IG videos. “So, I was renting this house from my lovely sister Brandi — happy belated birthday — a mold infested f-cking home. This is just one of the many problems since I moved into this house.”

He didn’t stop there. Trace went further, claiming that he “just got clean water f-cking recently” before claiming he’s been “sleeping on a f-cking air mattress downstairs.”

Jennifer Lopez‘s 18-year-old child, Emme, has seemingly ditched their name for a new identity.

The discovery was made after a social media account that highlights college decisions made by graduating seniors at Windward School in Los Angeles addressed Emme by a brand new name and pronouns.

The shocking change comes almost a year after Jennifer Lopez and the teenager went viral for their striking resemblance in a photo.

Lopez is the mother to twin teenagers, Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximilian David Muñiz, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

However, one of her kids stunned fans after it was quietly revealed that they had changed their identity.

Emme, who was once known as the singer’s daughter, now seemingly goes by “Oskar Muñiz,” as seen in a recent Instagram post from an account linked to their LA High School.

The account used a new name and he/him pronouns while talking about the college Emme will be attending after their graduation.

“Oskar to Sarah Lawrence! No more impromptu NYC trips because he’ll be living there! Good thing it’s only a few hours away from Stagedoor. Go gryphons!! Congrats!!” the post read.

It also featured a childhood photo of Emme smiling and linked out to their private Instagram page, which seemed to have an image of Emme on the locked profile.

Unsurprisingly, there was a mix of comments from people reacting to the discovery of Emme’s new identity.

“Oskar? I thought her name was Emme, and she’s a girl, not a boy!” one individual asked, while another said, “Wow, a little confused here? Must be a hard life.”

However, a lot of the comments were very positive and praised for their graduation milestone.

One person stated, “Congrats, Oskar! We love you,” while another wrote, “Congrats! Onward and upward!”

The graduation post was also liked by Jennifer Garner, who was previously married to Lopez’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck.

The recent name change discovery came after Lopez made an appearance at Emme’s high school graduation, alongside her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, and former stepson, Samuel Affleck.

Emme’s twin brother, Max, was also at the ceremony. They were all seen smiling on the happy occasion, with Emme and Samuel, at one point, seen having a conversation, according to the photos obtained by Page Six.

Notably absent from the graduation event was Emme and Max’s father, Marc Anthony.

While it’s unclear why he was a no-show, the musician revealed back in January that he and his wife, Nadia Ferriera, were expecting their second child together, three years after welcoming a son.

During a recent appearance on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show, Lopez got candid about her kids leaving home and becoming an empty nester.

The actress admitted that she has been very emotional over the thought of her kids going to college, telling host Jimmy Kimmel, “Tomorrow one of them graduates [high school]” Lopez noted, before saying, “Don’t talk about it ’cause we start crying.”

After being asked if she would cry at the graduation, Lopez said, “I’ve been crying for two months.”

She then talked about being “fine” with Max and Emme attending different schools, noting she would rather be happy and go where they want to go, instead of forcing them to attend the same college.

“It’s fine. I want them to be happy, go where they want to go and do what they want to do,” the singer explained.

Before Emme’s recent name change, the teenager went viral after a photo of them and Lopez hit the internet, which highlighted their resemblance.

The image was taken during the singer’s time in the Hamptons during Lopez’s summer getaway after her split from Affleck.

It featured Lopez and Emme beaming with smiles in the back seat of a convertible, with the singer’s vocal coach, Stevie Mackey, in the front seat.

In the photo, Emme went for a casual look in a blue plaid shirt and khaki shorts, while Lopez looked effortlessly chic in a crisp white button-down.

At the time, the mother-child duo was flooded with sweet comments from fans commenting on how similar they looked, with some even branding Emme a “carbon copy” of Lopez.
