Kelly Clarkson Opens Up About Love Life In Rare Confession
Kelly Clarkson is giving fans a peek into her life as she navigates love, independence, and singlehood.
The singer recently opened up about her perspective on modern romance and the challenges of maintaining a meaningful partnership, noting that in relationships, it’s often difficult to keep the sparks going.
This comes months after the talk show host confirmed the end of “The Kelly Clarkson” show after seven successful seasons.

During a performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Clarkson offered fans a candid perspective on remaining single. Responding to ongoing public curiosity about her romantic life, the talk show host jokingly explained that witnessing the struggles of other couples often makes her appreciate returning home alone.
“People are like, Oh, why are you single?’ And I’m like, ‘First of all, there are a lot of people out here making single look real good,” she said.
Clarkson defended her current lifestyle choices to the audience, noting that maintaining a successful partnership requires constant effort. “If you are in a relationship, the hardest part I feel like is just keeping that fire alive and still dating… and, like, still making it feel magical and not monotonous,” she added, per Page Six.
Notably, the 44-year-old artist has maintained a low-profile personal life following the finalization of her divorce from late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock in 2022, with whom she shares two children.
Blackstock sadly passed away in August 2025 following a battle with melanoma.
The Singer Has Been Focused On Her Children
Following the passing of her ex-husband, Blackstock, reports indicate that the “Stronger” singer’s primary focus remains on supporting her two young children. Even as she strives to balance her career commitments with her home life, insiders share that she maintains a very tight-knit inner circle.
The Blast reported that sources note that while Clarkson remains open to finding love again when the time is right, bringing a new partner into her family’s routine isn’t currently on her horizon.
Additionally, she has no intention of walking down the aisle again, often joking that she never wanted to marry the first time.
Kelly Clarkson Is Prioritizing Her Family After Ending Her Daytime Show

Clarkson’s decision to focus on her children while remaining open to finding love again coincides with her decision to walk away from her daytime talk show.
Weeks ago, she addressed her decision to conclude her popular daytime program after seven successful seasons. The singer clarified that stepping away from the talk show was a conscious choice made on her own terms to focus on her home life, according to The Blast.
Clarkson acknowledged that the shift in family dynamics following the passing of her ex-husband changed her perspective on what matters most. This shift essentially made her realize that life is precious, pushing her to step more into her role as a mother.
The artist reassured fans that walking away from daytime television does not mean she is stepping away from her career entirely. She explained that she still maintains several professional commitments and projects, but reducing her overall workload felt necessary.
Pink Stepped In As A Guest Host For The ‘Kelly Clarkson’ Show

As Clarkson’s show prepares to conclude its final season, pop icon Pink stepped in as a special guest host to launch Women’s History Month in early March.
The Blast reported that to mark the occasion, the show’s official social media accounts offered fans a glimpse of the singer dropping in on set wearing a shimmering silver bodysuit and holding a host’s clipboard.
The temporary takeover was teased in a playful video featuring the two longtime friends sharing an embrace on stage. While the announcement sparked enthusiasm among fans hoping to see Pink transition into daytime television permanently, her appearance was slated as a special one-week event.
Kelly Clarkson Shared An Unfiltered Confession During Her Residency

Even as the “Kelly Clarkson” show draws to a close, Clarkson has continued to invest her energy into connecting with fans at her Las Vegas residency.
During a recent show at Caesars Palace, the talk show host shared a humorous, overly detailed story about a severe hotel bathroom experience. She prefaced it by saying, “This is TMI, but I’m gonna go ahead and say it,” per The Blast.
Wondering aloud whether she had contracted a widespread foodborne infection, she clarified that she had not been officially diagnosed.
The musician recounted the physical toll the ordeal took after she returned to her hotel room, lightheartedly comparing her situation to the iconic food poisoning sequence in the comedy film “Bridesmaids.”
Laughing off the experience, Clarkson joked that she was glad to be single in that moment, as no potential partner would want to witness such an ordeal.

Macaulay Culkin Has Disney ‘Salivating’ For ‘Home Alone’ Reboot
Macaulay Culkin might have already started laying the blueprint for his return to the Holiday blockbuster!
The iconic actor rose to fame for playing Kevin McCallister in the 1990 family Christmas film, “Home Alone,” and stole the hearts of millions around the globe. Behind-the-scenes arrangements may already be in the works for a reboot of the classic film.
Macaulay Culkin, in recent years, has expressed that he is open to returning to the nostalgic franchise that put his name in lights globally even after over three decades.

Culkin was reportedly seen at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, to meet up with executives amd discuss a potential new “Home Alone” movie.
According to veteran entertainment journalist Matthew Belloni, who reportedly received a tip about the actor’s presence at the studio, Disney is beyond thrilled about Culkin’s ideas.
“I got a tip the other day that there was a very interesting sighting on the Disney lot: Macaulay Culkin was there. He’s talked about having an idea for a new ‘Home Alone,’ and Disney is like salivating,” Belloni shared on a recent episode of his “The Town” podcast.
He also claimed that Disney is going out of its way to offer Culkin another movie in addition to the holiday classic film. “They’re offering him another movie, like, he could do his own passion project if he could also do another ‘Home Alone’ and they have a good idea,” the podcaster shared.
A Reboot Is Still In Doubt
Speaking further on his podcast, Belloni, who is a founding partner of the digital media company Puck, shared that a reboot of the classic film may not happen; however, he personally thinks it will, adding, “They are courting him like nobody’s business.”
Belloni also remarked that “Home Alone” is one of the top-streamed franchises every holiday season; hence, a reboot “would be gigantic” for the studio. In addition to his comments, the podcaster revealed that he had insider information about the ideas on the table for the reboot.
“I’ve talked to people who have heard it, and it’s a really good idea for a ‘Home Alone’ reboot with Macaulay Culkin,” he said after joking that the former child star’s brother, Kieran Culkin, should be “the hot one” in Hollywood currently. Belloni’s comment stemmed from the fact that Kieran just won an Oscar for his role in “A Real Pain” last year.
The Actor Previously Said Terms And Conditions Apply To His Return To The ‘Home Alone’ Franchise

Last year, during his event “A Nostalgic Night With Macaulay Culkin,” the TV star got candid about the possibility of returning to his iconic onscreen role after more than three decades.
He admitted to his fans that he is open to reprise his role as Kevin McCallister in another “Home Alone” sequel; however, there are conditions his return would largely depend on.
Culkin shared that the supposed sequel would have to meet a very high standard and “would have to be just right,” teasing one of his iconic lines in the film. As reported by The Blast, the actor disclosed some of his personal ideas for the film.
The 45-year-old shared that for his envisioned sequel, since Kevin is all grown up, he isn’t the one doing the locking out; rather, he is the one locked out of the house.
“I’m either a widower or a divorcé. I’m raising a kid… I’m working really hard, and I’m not paying enough attention, and the kid is getting miffed at me, and then I get locked out,” Culkin explained.
The Actor Keeps His Iconic Character A Secret From His Kids
Culkin, who shares sons Dakota and Carson with his longtime partner, Brenda Song, revealed that his kids are still in the dark about his role as Kevin that made him a star.
This is not to say that they do not watch the movies, as he shared they watch them as a family and he enjoys seeing the films through his children’s eyes.
However, he is yet to drop the bombshell on them that their dad played Kevin in the classic films. “I try to keep the magic alive,” he said after sharing an instance of their conversation around the film as shared by The Blast.
“They don’t even call it ‘Home Alone,’ they just say ‘Kevin. They’re like, ‘Wow, Kevin’s really funny.’ I go, ‘He’s also handsome, somebody that your mom might be into,’” Culkin recalled.
The actor’s oldest son is beginning to catch on, as Culkin recalled showing him an old family photo where Dakota pointed his young dad out and said, “That looks like Kevin.”
Macaulay Culkin Recently Mourned His ‘Home Alone’ Mom
The ‘Home Alone’ reboot would definitely be missing an OG character, Kevin’s mother, played by Sara O’Hara. O’Hara passed away on January 30, 2026, after a brief illness at the age of 71.
After her death, Culkin took to social media, sharing an emotional tribute where he honored her legacy and the memories they shared during her lifetime.
The actor uploaded a throwback photo of himself and his on-screen “mama” from “Home Alone,” writing how much he wished they had more time to spend together. In a separate interview, the father of two shared that O’Hara’s death came as a shock to him because they had “unfinished business” to handle.
Even though he did not detail what the business entailed, he admitted that the news of her death hit him hard and close to home. The Blast also reported that Culkin remembered O’Hara for being supportive from the beginning of his career in the industry.
Will Macaulay Culkin’s plans result in another blockbuster film?

The Perfect ‘Friends’ Cast if the Sitcom Were Made in 2026
Fancasting is a popular pastime. Don’t you love to look at classic shows, wonder what the characters might look like if the show were made today, then picture current celebrities in the key and supporting roles? Friends is the perfect show to do this with. The iconic sitcom features a mixed bag of personalities. It’s famously known for lacking diversity, and you can’t help but wonder who might play each of the characters in a modern-day version.
The way the characters look might change, but with the right actors playing them, their essence would remain. Consider that while most of the cast was in their mid-to-late 20s and early 30s when the series started, celebrities today tend to look younger than ever. That means casting a 35-to-40-year-old wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. When you consider who’s hot right now, a few names stand out as actors who could nail these characters in a modern-day dream casting scenario.
1
Rachel Green: Sydney Sweeney
Sydney Sweeney is this generation’s “it” girl — a status that Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green, understood all too well at the height of Friends‘ success. Sweeney has proven herself capable of handling both drama and comedy in shows like Euphoria. Though that HBO series has some of the heaviest TV episodes of the last 20 years, there are also lighter moments. Sweeney’s whiny and at times insufferable character Cassie sometimes delivers laughs, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Sweeney also starred in the romantic comedy Anyone But You, where she showed off more of her comedy talents.
She has the same distinct look Aniston does — a beauty that stands out from others. We could totally see whoever plays Ross having pined for her since they were in high school. And Sweeney would be believable as the runaway bride who works as a waitress in a coffee shop until pursuing a career in fashion.
Honorable mentions: Jenna Ortega (her comedic timing is brilliant); Zendaya (she’s a consummate pro who can tackle any role).
2
Ross Geller: Jesse Eisenberg
Fans either loved or hated Ross, played by David Schwimmer, who came across as annoying and complaining at times. But deep down, he was a good guy who not everyone understood. He lacked confidence in himself and couldn’t seem to figure out his love life until the bitter end of the show.
Jesse Eisenberg is a perfect actor to play him. He’s known for playing anxious characters, which fits right into the Ross wheelhouse. His characters are often intelligent, but also socially awkward like Ross. From portraying Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network to the illusionist in Now You See Me, one of those perfect action movies anyone can enjoy, his resume speaks for itself. While he’s already in his 40s, Eisenberg still has a boyish face, so he could pull off early 30s.
Honorable mentions: Jay Baruchel (he plays the awkwardly confident nerd so well); Tyler James Williams (his uptight and awkward character in Abbott Elementary proves he has what it takes).
3
Chandler Bing: Daniel Radcliffe
It would take a huge actor to tackle the role of Chandler Bing, and Daniel Radcliffe could be a good fit. While he’s best known for playing Harry Potter in that massive franchise, it’s easy to forget that he also portrayed “Weird Al” Yankovic in the musical parody Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. He’s also currently killing it in the sitcom The Rise and Fall of Reggie Dinkins. He knows how to command a screen like the late Matthew Perry does, and he has demonstrated his skill for comedic timing as well.
Chandler often used sarcasm and self-deprecation to hide his insecurities, and we could totally see Radcliffe doing the same. He isn’t afraid to be silly either, playing everything from a flatulent dead body in Swiss Army Man to several humorous characters in Miracle Workers. Though older than Perry was when he started on Friends, Radcliffe forever has that youthful look.
Honorable mentions: Skylar Astin (he has a similar look and a reputation for playing sweet and likable characters); Joe Keery (the flowing hair and talent for sarcasm in Stranger Things make him a viable candidate).
4
Monica Geller: Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy is one of the most sought-after young actors of this generation. Rising to fame in The Queen’s Gambit, one of the greatest miniseries masterpieces of the 21st century, then the movie The Menu, and now most recently starring in the Apple TV series Lucky, she has taken on diverse characters. While many have a certain sex appeal, Monica, originally played by Courteney Cox, is more upright. But Taylor-Joy is the type of actor you know could handle any type of character that’s thrown at her.
This version of Monica might have to change slightly, but we could see it working. She could be a cute pairing with Radcliffe, Astin, or Keery, and I could see Eisenberg as her annoying older brother. It would be a role out of Taylor-Joy’s usual darker, more intense shows and movies, but she could be convincing as the uptight, neat-freak, hard-working chef.
Honorable mentions: Hailee Steinfeld (she has the same adorably magnetic quality); Millie Bobby Brown (she has a sweet innocence about her like Monica); Ayo Edebiri (she’d taps into Monica’s sarcastic side); Chase Infiniti (she has the same classic beauty and tremendous acting talent); Maude Apatow (she’s an up-and-comer whose Euphoria character you could imagine as being a younger Monica).
5
Joey Tribbiani: Dave Franco
Matt LeBlanc beautifully portrayed the handsome but goofy and not very academically intelligent friend. This is a character type Dave Franco knows all too well and could play to a T. He leaned into the comedy angle in movies like Superbad and the Now You See Me films, as well as in shows like The Afterparty and The Studio, the latter of which he played an embellished version of himself.
While Franco is already 40, his boyish face would fit with a more mature version of the character. He could easily replicate Joey’s doe-eyed look, womanizing ways, and adorably naïve personality.
Honorable mentions: Zac Efron (he fits the hunky persona and knows comedy); Timothée Chalamet (he’s a versatile young actor who can take on any role); Robbie Amell (he’s dabbled in comedy with Upload, showing he can handle goofy, macho roles).
6
Phoebe Buffay: Haley Lu Richardson
It’s tough to imagine anyone but Lisa Kudrow embodying Phoebe. But when considering the younger generation of actors, Haley Lu Richardson is easy to picture in a boho outfit, playing her guitar in the coffee shop, singing about her smelly cat, and playing up the eccentric, kooky personality.
Richardson has shown her range in roles like The White Lotus, one of the most perfect HBO shows of the last 15 years, where she played a young assistant trying to find herself. She more recently appeared in the Peacock series Ponies as a confident and rebellious wife of a CIA agent in the ’70s. There’s no doubt she’d tackle Phoebe with a modern 21st-century twist.
Honorable mentions: Elle Fanning (she’s one of the most versatile young actors of this generation); Sadie Sink (the sarcastic slant of Max in Stranger Things would be perfect for the character); Hunter Schafer (her nuanced performance in Euphoria included some comedy as well); Emma Myers (her upbeat character in Wednesday has hints of Phoebe).
7
Gunther: Suraj Sharma
The late James Michael Tyler quietly played Gunther, the manager of Central Perk who not-so-secretly pined for Rachel. He quietly puts up with the antics of the group and keeps their favorite couch perpetually reserved so it’s always available to them when they want it. For a time, he was Rachel’s boss when she worked there as a waitress.
Suraj Sharma feels like a good actor for this role, perhaps because of his role as Sid in the short-lived How I Met Your Mother spin-off, How I Met Your Father. On that show, he’s a member of the core group who happens to own a bar. Even though he’s part of the friend group, they often visit the bar while he’s working. Beyond that, he could lend more personality to the role, since Tyler was mostly a background character with a few lines here and there. Sharma has great comedic timing, so even with a single line, he’d command attention and garner laughs.
Honorable mention: Reba McEntire (she would bring loads more comedy to the role with some good one-liners).
8
Jacob Elordi: Richard Burke
For some time, Monica dated the handsome Richard, played by the handsome Tom Selleck. He was tall, suave, wealthy, and much older. Unsurprisingly, Chandler was threatened by Richard when he felt like the old beau might return to Monica’s life. In this generation, I could easily see Jacob Elordi playing Richard. He’s tall and handsome as well, and while young, there’s no reason Richard couldn’t be switched to a young, successful businessman instead of an older one.
Given the shift to female empowerment nowadays, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to have Monica dating a younger man and swapping the story angle. Elordi, for his part, knows how to play the prince charming type, having done so in projects like The Kissing Booth and Wuthering Heights.
Honorable mentions: Liam Hemsworth (has the same classic handsome look); Robert Pattinson (his characters often have an air of mystery about them); Glen Powell (his smile lights a room, and he’d easily fit as the ex that makes Chandler jealous).
9
Isabela Merced: Janice Hosenstein
Aside from Monica, Chandler had one other major girlfriend through the show’s run. Janice (Maggie Wheeler) is best known for her distinct accent, loud personality, bold clothing choices, and obnoxious cries of, “Oh my god!” Isabela Merced is an up-and-coming young actor who is best known for her role in The Last of Us. But her experience from Nickelodeon shows, as well as more serious ones like in Alien: Romulus, suggest this could be a fun role to show her comedic side, too.
Janice appears in multiple seasons of Friends, coming back into Chandler’s life more than once. Sometimes, the group just runs into her in various scenarios. Merced proved in Season 2 of The Last of Us that she could dominate scenes. That’s something Wheeler did whenever the camera was on her as Janice, oozing main character energy even though she wasn’t one.
Honorable mentions: Joey King (her range is tremendous, and though she mostly does serious roles, she’d ace this one); Melissa Rauch (she perfected the nasally, squeaky voice for Bernadette on The Big Bang Theory).
10
Paul Rudd: Mike Hannigan
I mean, could anyone else possibly play Mike, Phoebe’s long-term boyfriend and eventual husband, other than Paul Rudd himself? Sure, decades have passed since he last played the role, but as many joke, Rudd doesn’t seem to age. He still looks like he did back then, so it would be hilarious to have Rudd return in this same role.
The age difference might be a little unsettling, depending on who’s playing Phoebe, but would it really be any different than when Selleck played the older Richard dating Monica? Rudd has such a boyish charm that he’d slink so easily back into the role that everyone would forget he’s pushing 60 and totally believe that Phoebe has fallen head over heels for the weirdly wonderful pianist and former lawyer.

Stephani Sosa Accidentally Injures DWTS: Next Pro Contestant
Ezra Sosa‘s sister, Stephani Sosa, was involved in an incident on Dancing With the Stars: Next Pro that resulted in a contestant’s abrupt exit.
During the Monday, July 27, episode of the ABC show, Stephani accidentally hit Natalie Jolley in the face while they were practicing choreography as a group. Stephani didn’t notice that she swung her arm in Natalie’s face until the latter started to cry.
Natalie said she felt dizzy as one of her eyes started to swell shut. Stephani explained in a confessional that she didn’t even realize she had hurt Natalie.
“I don’t know what happened. The dance was moving so quickly, and Natalie got hit in the face,” she explained. “I just hate being the one that caused that. Like, I just feel horrible. I know she’s worked really hard to be here, and I hope she’s OK. … Sorry, I just care.”
Natalie was pulled out of rehearsals by production to get medical attention. An ambulance was eventually called once Natalie mentioned she couldn’t breathe through her nose.
“It hurts really bad,” she said before producers reassured her that the medical team would help, adding, “They’re going to give you some pain relief, OK? Just try to slow your breathing down.”

Natalie never returned to perform her group dance on DWTS: Next Pro. Instead, judge Shirley Ballas told the group that no one was going to be eliminated because Natalie’s health scare prevented her from continuing on the show.
“Tonight was the last dance for … neither of you,” she announced. “Following Natalie’s injury, she was not medically cleared to compete, and so she has been eliminated. This means you will all live to dance another day.”
Despite her abrupt exit, Natalie was given the chance to say goodbye.
“I’m really sad and disappointed that I won’t be able to continue in this competition, but the most important thing is just to take care of my body so that I can dance again,” she said. “I love all of you so, so, so much and I’m going to miss you all. Thank you so much.”
Before DWTS: Next Pro premiered on ABC, Stephani spoke exclusively to Us about the pressure of competing on the show while her brother is already a pro on Dancing With the Stars. (Stephani was previously part of the DWTS troupe during season 33.)
“I honestly felt like I was treated like everyone else,” she shared earlier this month. “I definitely feel like the experience for me wasn’t easy. It was very hard, and I definitely feel like they expected a lot more from me because I was Ezra’s sister.”
Stephani noted she “had a lot more to prove,” adding, “I went in being like, ‘Yeah, I’ve done this. I am Ezra’s sister, but this is a new chapter.’ This is me proving myself fully and there are no excuses.”
Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. Stream new episodes the next day on Hulu.

‘Stargate’ Creator’s New Sci-Fi Series Returns for Season 3 Tomorrow
Just last month, Stargate fans were dealt another major disappointment when Amazon reportedly scrapped its planned revival of the beloved sci-fi franchise. The series was set to be led by franchise veteran Martin Gero, who wrote for all three previous live-action Stargate shows. Reports initially suggested Amazon executives were concerned the project wouldn’t appeal beyond the franchise’s existing fanbase, although later reports indicated the cancellation stemmed from leadership changes within the company. The decision sparked an immediate backlash, with fans launching online campaigns urging Amazon to reverse course and reinstate Gero’s project.
While fans continue to hope for good news about Stargate‘s future, another ambitious space-set sci-fi series deserves their attention, especially since it comes from one of the franchise’s original creative minds. Long before the cancelled Amazon revival, Dean Devlin, who co-wrote and co-produced the 1994 Stargate film alongside Roland Emmerich, helped launch the franchise. Nearly three decades later, Devlin returned to science fiction with The Ark, which he created alongside fellow Stargate veteran Jonathan Glassner.
Premiering on February 1, 2023, The Ark returns for its third season in just 24 hours, nearly two years after the Season 2 finale. Set 100 years in the future, the Syfy series follows the crew of Ark One, a spacecraft carrying humanity’s hopes of survival after Earth becomes increasingly uninhabitable. When disaster strikes en route, the surviving crew must overcome impossible odds to find a new home for the human race.
Season 3 Looks Like ‘The Ark’s Strongest Yet
With just one day until The Ark returns, anticipation is building for Captain Sharon Garnet (Christie Burke) and the crew of Ark One as they continue humanity’s fight for survival. Season 2 concluded with Garnet receiving a mysterious distress signal from the Ross 128 system, while another cliffhanger viewers were left with was what the mysterious alien stone tablet discovered by Angus Medford (Ryan Adams) could mean for the colony’s future.
The upcoming season promises to expand the sci-fi mystery’s mythology even further. Speaking about Season 3 in a recent interview, Burke teased new technologies, deeper explorations of The Ark‘s origins, and “incredibly complicated” new villains. She also revealed that viewers will learn much more about Garnet’s backstory, while every major character will receive meaningful development. Perhaps most encouraging of all, she believes the new episodes surpass everything the sci-fi drama has done so far, saying that Season 3 “is genuinely our best season.”
The Ark Season 3 premieres on Syfy on July 29, 2026.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day First Reviews Are In, Critics Are Calling It Tom Holland’s Best Yet : Coastal House Media
Marvel Studios has managed to pull off something that feels almost impossible in today’s internet age: keeping one of the biggest casting secrets completely under wraps.
As Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters this week, fans are still asking the same question they’ve been debating for more than a year:
Who is Sadie Sink actually playing?
The speculation reached another level after Sony released a new promotional clip featuring Sink, where her answer about her character is intentionally bleeped out, instantly sending social media into detective mode once again. While the clip offers no definitive answers, it is the latest example of Marvel leaning into one of the film’s biggest mysteries.
Marvel Isn’t Hiding It by Accident
Director Destin Daniel Cretton recently explained that the secrecy is completely intentional and for good reason.
“There is a very real reason” the role hasn’t been revealed, Cretton said, adding that audiences will understand why once they have seen the movie. He also noted that while some fans enjoy knowing every detail ahead of release, preserving surprises is part of the experience.
That comment alone has convinced many fans that Sink’s character is not simply another supporting role, but someone whose identity could reshape the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Biggest Fan Theories
Gwen Stacy
Perhaps the safest prediction is Gwen Stacy.
Peter Parker is beginning a brand new chapter following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, making this an ideal opportunity to introduce one of Spider Man’s most iconic comic book characters.
With MJ and Ned moving on with their lives and no longer remembering Peter, a new relationship could naturally fit into this next phase of the franchise.
Jean Grey
For months, the internet was convinced Sink would make her MCU debut as Jean Grey, finally bringing one of Marvel’s most powerful mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The theory made sense on paper. Sink has the look, the acting range, and Marvel is steadily building toward introducing the X Men.
However, Tom Holland recently appeared to pour cold water on that idea, saying, “Well, she’s not in this movie, but it would be pretty cool.” Whether fans believe Holland, or think he is simply protecting another Marvel secret, is another story entirely.
Jean Grey [Marvel Comics]
Mayday Parker
Another increasingly popular theory suggests Sink could be playing Mayday Parker, Peter Parker’s daughter from an alternate universe.
Given Marvel’s continued use of multiverse storytelling, introducing Mayday now could open the door for future Spider Man stories while expanding the Parker family legacy beyond Peter himself.
Rachel Summers
Some fans have gone even deeper into Marvel lore by predicting Rachel Summers, the daughter of Jean Grey and Cyclops from an alternate timeline.
If Marvel plans to merge Spider Man’s street level adventures with the arrival of mutants, Rachel could serve as an unexpected bridge between those worlds.
Rachel Summers [Marvel Comics]
Why the Secret Matters
Marvel has spent years trying to preserve genuine surprises in an era dominated by leaks and spoilers.
The studio has kept Sadie Sink largely absent from trailers, TV spots, and promotional materials, making her one of the few major MCU characters whose identity has remained completely unknown leading up to release.
With Brand New Day positioned as a fresh beginning for Peter Parker after the world forgot his identity, introducing a significant new character makes perfect narrative sense.
Whether that character is Gwen Stacy, an X Men icon, or someone fans have not even considered yet, Marvel clearly believes the reveal is worth protecting.
The Wait Is Almost Over
Fortunately, fans will not have to speculate much longer.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters July 31, meaning the internet’s biggest MCU mystery is only days away from being solved. Until then, every new promotional clip, including the latest bleeped out interview with Sadie Sink, is only fueling the excitement.
One thing is certain: if Marvel has gone to these lengths to keep her character secret, the reveal is likely to be one of the film’s biggest moments.
