Mary Cosby’s Son Died A Day Before Filming Season 7
“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Lisa Barlow revealed Mary Cosby‘s son, Robert Cosby Jr., died the day before filming was scheduled to begin for season 7. During her appearance on Andy Cohen‘s “Radio Andy,” the outspoken reality star praised Mary for how she’s handled the difficult loss and spoke about how the tragic event shaped the season.
Barlow, an “RHOSLC” OG, spoke with Dorina Medley on “Radio Andy” and said Robert Jr.’s death was the “hardest thing” to experience. She said that the unfortunate event was a “bonding moment” for the entire cast.
Elsewhere during the conversation, Barlow highlighted Mary’s strength, noting that the 53-year-old lost her son “literally the night before we started filming.”
According to Barlow, Mary, who has also been part of the “RHOSLC” cast since season 1 aired in 2020, has “handled things so incredibly well,” noting that her strong relationship with God is what’s gotten her through the storm.
Barlow Opens Up About Robert Cosby Jr.’s Funeral Service

Viewers will see Mary and the rest of the cast processing Robert Jr.’s death in the upcoming episodes. While a previous report from The Blast states that cameras weren’t allowed at his funeral service, Barlow said the event was “probably the most beautiful experience.”
And Barlow isn’t the only “Real Housewives” star who spoke about the funeral service. “Beverly Hills” staple Kyle Richards also attended the event, per The Blast, and said she showed up to support Mary during the challenging time.
“I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to be there and support her and experience something like that. Like I said, I will never forget that day ever in my life,” Richards said. “I appreciated her having me there because I just, like I said, I was so touched by it. I just can’t imagine what she’s going through.”
Other ‘Real Housewives’ Stars Showed Up To Support Mary Cosby During Her Son’s Funeral

Another report from The Blast revealed that other “Real Housewives” stars rallied around Mary during her son’s funeral, including her co-stars, Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Bronwyn Newport, Angie Katsanevas, and Britani Bateman.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” vets Sheree Whitfield and Cynthia Bailey were also in attendance, along with Cohen.
Speaking of Cohen, the Bravo figurehead showed support for Mary during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” saying, “Before we go, I want to send all my love and heartfelt condolences to Mary Cosby and her family.”
He said his “heart” was breaking for Mary after learning of the “devastatingly sad news.”
Cohen touched on Mary’s commitment to supporting her son throughout his addiction struggles, sharing, “Mary, you did such a great job. I know their bravery and their vulnerability in sharing their story has helped and will continue to help countless people who are struggling. Rest in peace, Robert Jr., and thanks.”
Robert Cosby Jr. Told Mary That He Was Struggling With Drug Use During An Emotional Conversation
“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” viewers were aware of Robert Jr.’s addiction struggles, given that he had an emotional and vulnerable conversation with Mary about his drug use during season 5.
While in tears, Robert told Mary that he had been using Xanax and other drugs for years. “I just took half to chill me out, and then I had an Adderall to balance out the Xanax. … When I get high, it’s like adding seasoning to [my life],” he confessed.
Robert Jr. said he noticed things were reaching the point of no return when he began feeling unfazed after taking a combination of drugs. “You know the regular 30mg Oxys? I noticed … this was, like, a turning point for me. I was taking 10 at once, and I couldn’t even feel it,” he said.
Mary Broke Her Silence After Her Son’s Death, Thanked Her Fans For Their Prayers And Support
Robert Jr. died in February 2026. He was 23. Mary broke her silence following the tragic loss, revealing he had been “called home to the Lord.”
She added, “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”

8 Sci-Fi Show Endings That Are Genuine Masterpieces
Spoiler Alert: This list contains spoilers for multiple shows.Sci-fi shows tend to take years building up complicated worlds, fascinating mysteries, deeply emotional character journeys, and strange technologies, which can make sticking the landing at the series’ end a bit difficult. A great ending has to do more than simply wrap up a story; it should feel like a natural payoff, a satisfying closer to everything the show explored, whether that means completing character arcs, answering major questions, or leaving viewers with one final idea that changes how they see the entire journey up until that point.
The best sci-fi shows which wield masterful endings, like the underrated icon Dark, which brings an incredibly tangled web of families, timelines and repeated tragedies toward a deeply emotional conclusion, and The Leftovers, an HBO gem that uses belief, uncertainty and human connection to bring its story to a close, are works of fiction that manage to feel satisfying, giving their tales a sense of completion that stays with audiences long after those finale credits roll. Compiled on this list are the sci-fi shows that wield fantastic endings that genuinely stand as true masterpieces.
‘Battlestar Galactica’ (2004–2009)
This sci-fi cult classic is one of the finest in the genre, and its ending remains one of the most ambitious. The 2004 remake, Battlestar Galactica, follows the aftermath of the annihilation of humanity’s Twelve Colonies by robotic enemies, centering on a ragtag group of survivors aboard the remaining fleet led by the last Battlestar, Galactica.
Battlestar Galactica‘s finale comes after the transformation of the war between humans and Cylons into a much larger meditation on destiny, identity, and whether civilization is doomed to repeat itself. It’s a heavily debated finale that remains influential to this day. Battlestar Galactica‘s conclusion is fantastically bold and dramatic, with characters like Adama (Edward James Olmos) and Roslin (Mary McDonnell) finding closure, and humanity settling on a new Earth with conflicts resolved. Most fans find the ending to be perfect, one that fits the overall theme of the show and delivers a fantastic bittersweet resolution and mythic resonance that has cemented its legacy.
‘Lost’ (2004–2010)
This six-season sci-fi beauty brilliantly wraps up every unexplained detail which might have held the key to its entire mystery. Lost follows the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 who crash-land on a mysterious island rife with secrets and untold dangers.
Lost is quite famous for supernatural elements and cunning flashbacks, marking it as a well-crafted and highly entertaining viewing experience. The show’s finale only adds to its brilliance, as it remains one of television’s most-discussed endings. Lost‘s mind-bending conclusion is well known as the finale of all finales, as it both ties up characters’ arcs with a spiritual focus and reframes the series as a story about redemption, love, forgiveness, and the individuals who, along the way, managed to shape their lives.
‘Dark’ (2017–2020)
Dark is a fantastically addictive German sci-fi series that offers viewers a masterful and truly complex story. The show centers around teenager Jonas Kahnwald (Louis Hofmann), who, after two children go missing in their hometown of Winden, becomes caught in a conspiracy spanning several generations.
Dark may be uniquely underrated, but it’s a series that is well-loved by its devoted fanbase. Its finale is actually highly hailed as a true masterpiece that beautifully resolves its labyrinthine plot in one stroke. With Jonas discovering the origin of the time loop and ending the cycle by making the ultimate sacrifice, fans appreciate just how far Dark goes when forcing characters to confront fate and free will. The series as a whole is a genuine masterpiece that often rewards viewers for paying close attention, and by the show’s carefully plotted end, Dark delivers something truly epic that leaves its audience marveling at its emotional weight and ambition.
‘Sense8’ (2015–2018)
Sense8 is a wonder that is horrendously underrated and stands as one of the few shows that somehow succeeded when it was on the cusp of cancellation. The series centers on eight strangers around the world who discover they are emotionally and mentally tied, their lives gradually merging as danger finds them all.
Sense8 as a whole is a pretty entertaining series, but unfortunately, that entertainment came at a pretty high cost, with too few viewers to keep it going. What makes it the sci-fi watch that wields a genuinely masterful finale is not only the fantastic and spicy end that showcases action, drama, and the celebration of connection, but also the fact that the conclusion itself was desperately fought for by the fans of its story. Sense8‘s two-hour finale nicely wraps up its story with one more bout of emotional intensity, cluster action, the defeat of a chilling villain, and the explicit, yet stunningly artful love scenes that fans adore. It’s a watch to remember and is still regarded as a hard-won masterpiece of a conclusion that fans genuinely love.
‘Orphan Black’ (2013–2017)
This Canadian sci-fi thriller delivers a fantastic ending that masterfully honors its core story about women treated as experiments who gradually become a family, reclaiming the right to define themselves and ensuring every moment of that epic journey truly matters. Orphan Black follows the con artist Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany), a woman who discovers she is one of the many genetically identical “sisters.”
Orphan Black is a star quality series with a finale that only elevates its status. The show’s conclusion is both satisfying and emotional, a marvelous ending that gives each clone a fitting resolution while celebrating the success of the family they fought to build. From central threads like Alison’s (Maslany) domestic life gaining stability and Cosima’s (Maslany) cure being found, to Sarah securing a future for her daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler), Orphan Black‘s finale brings every emotional arc together quite wonderfully, marking it as a masterful conclusion that gifts fans a quieter form of victory that feels right for the entire story
‘Astra Lost in Space’ (2019)
Astra Lost in Space is one of the finest sci-fi anime shows to ever exist, and unfortunately, most lovers of the genre have yet to find the impeccable series. The show focuses on a group of students who head to space, only to become stranded thousands of light-years away from home.
Astra Lost in Space is beautifully animated and wields an equally beautiful story. Its bright colors can be a bit misleading, as the story is much deeper than it seems, and by the end of the series, viewers are likely to be sobbing at the sheer emotional intensity the show delivers. The series is so much more than one may initially interpret—an overall mystery—sci-fi-heavy good time that wraps up neatly and truly feels rewarding. Astra Lost in Space is no doubt one of the most overlooked series on this list, but its masterpiece of a conclusion marks it as a quality watch that resolves a haunting mystery and genuinely lovable characters’ journeys.
‘The Leftovers’ (2014–2017)
This HBO masterpiece may have a rather short runtime, but it effectively leaves its mark on devoted fans’ hearts. The Leftovers is set after 2% of the world inexplicably vanishes in the “Sudden Departure,” and centers on the lives of those unfortunately left behind.
The Leftovers‘ finale definitely warrants attention because it is so often revered as one of TV’s most immaculate endings. The conclusion delivers a deeply personal resolution without tying everything in a neat bow, mirroring the show’s themes of mystery and faith. It secures the series’ status as a genuine masterpiece, and with its themes of ambiguity and humanity heavily showcased in its conclusion —a fantastic story that definitely rewards its viewers.
‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’ (2018–2020)
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power may be a fantasy whirlwind, but its showcasing of giant mechas, high-tech swords, and alien foes makes it the perfect sci-fi genre mixture to add to this list. The animated reboot follows ex-Horde soldier Adora (Aimee Carrero), who discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the hero She-Ra.
After five intense seasons, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power comes to a close with a glorious finale. Adora finally defeats the Horde and saves the home she has come to know, and there is a major reconciliation with her childhood friend Catra (AJ Michalka) that truly sweetens the hard-won battle. Fans and critics alike have consistently praised the animation banger for its last episode, which gifts its audience with an emphasis on love and redemption in a truly masterful way. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power has been deemed “literally perfect” because its finale is such a masterpiece, making it the perfect addition to this list of finales done exceptionally well.

Nolan Xavier Wells’ Update Has Ben Crump Watching Closely
Recently, social media users began sharing claims about a photo they say shows Nolan at a land-based pool party. This, allegedly in Jackson County, before 1 a.m. on July 5. The image, reposted by Attorney Crump, allegedly shows Nolan standing in a pool with several people nearby, with what appears to be a male friend’s arm around his shoulder as he looks back toward the camera. The photo also appears to show bottles and cans near the edge of the pool while others pose for the picture. However, no official statements have confirmed the details surrounding the image, and online claims should be treated as unverified while the investigation continues.
“Repost from @shanneltarottv :(Nolan Wells investigation update: The streets are talking! Now listen, I don’t know if these are facts or rumors because no official statements have been confirmed. We sometimes have to follow all clues until the truth is found. Here is what was discovered on social media last night. Social media allegations claim a photo exists of Nolan at a land-based pool party in Jackson County before 1:00 AM on July 5th,” the photo’s caption reads.
To note, a Google Image search shows the photo was initially shared on teen Evan Noel’s Instagram page. This, with a screenshotted timestamp of “21 hours ago” and with the caption, “Summer 26′”
New Claims Emerge Surrounding Nolan Wells’ Final Moments
New details are continuing to surface surrounding the viral video that has fueled conversations about the tragic death of 18-year-old Mississippi football player Nolan Wells. The clip, which spread widely online after Wells’ disappearance and death, led many people to question what happened during the moments captured on camera. Now, Tracestin Shepherd, one of the people allegedly seen in the video, is sharing his account of what he says actually happened that day, while attorney Ben Crump continues to advocate for answers on behalf of Wells’ family.
According to Shepherd, the video does not show Nolan involved in the confrontation. However, online speculation quickly linked Nolan to the group seen during the heated exchange, though no official confirmation has supported those claims. Shepherd says he argued with his girlfriend before another person confronted him, escalating the situation into a physical altercation. He also shared that family members and friends stepped in to calm things down. And, that the person some believe was Nolan in the footage was actually someone else. Shepherd also says he has spoken with law enforcement and provided his account of the events surrounding July 4.
Ben Crump’s Claim Faces Pushback Online
Previously, Ben Crump highlighted the video during case discussions and said he hears what he believes is Nolan’s voice in the footage. However, alsot recently, another friend of Wells, Jayvon Williams, disputed that claim, saying the audio did not sound like Nolan and that the argument appeared to involve Shepherd instead. As conversations continue online, the viral video remains a major point of discussion while officials work to determine the full circumstances surrounding Nolan Wells’ death.

Taylor Sheridan Officially Brings ‘Justified’ Into the ‘Yellowstone’ Universe
Editor’s Note: The following article contains spoilers for the Season 1 finale of Dutton Ranch.
If you need any proof that Yellowstone is the gift that keeps on giving, just look at Dutton Ranch. The Paramount+ spin-off is taking off in its debut season, having been renewed for a second season right before its Season 1 finale aired, and gaining some of the strongest reviews of any Yellowstone project with an 89% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing. To put this into perspective: Yellowstone‘s massive success didn’t come overnight; its first season received a mixed reception. Fellow spinoff Marshals is off to a rough start, with its debut season being dinged for feeling like a cookie-cutter procedural. Dutton Ranch is about to undergo a major change in Season 2, which could potentially increase its audience goodwill.
This change concerns the showrunner position, which is being filled by Benjamin Clavell. Clavell is replacing series creator and Season 1 showrunner Chad Feehan, who departed Dutton Ranch before the series even premiered, due to creative conflicts with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan and the rest of the cast. A look at Clavell’s resume also shows he’s no stranger to neo-Western shows grappling with thorny moral questions, as he served as an executive producer on Justified. Clavell’s Justified experience should come in handy, given where the Season 1 finale of Dutton Ranch left Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser).
‘Dutton Ranch’s Season 1 Finale Is The Perfect Place to Inject ‘Justified’ Vibes Into The Series
When Dutton Ranch‘s Season 1 finale, “El Padrino,” ends, Beth and Rip are not in a good spot. The duo has run afoul of Mariano Reyes (Raoul Max Trujillo), a cartel boss with connections to rival ranch 10 Petal, particularly as he’s the father of Joaquin Jackson Reyes (Juan Pablo Raba) and partner to Belulah Jackson (Annette Bening). Mariano quickly shows that he’s not to be trifled with when he kidnaps Beth and Rip’s adopted son, Carter (Finn Little). Anyone who’s watched Yellowstone knows that the Duttons aren’t to be trifled with, and Kelly Reilly confirmed that Season 2 of Dutton Ranch will be an all-out war as Beth and Rip fight to get their son back.
“We’re going to see them tear up Texas to get him back. When Beth says, “They want us, then they’re going to have us,” I think all of the audience knows what she means.”
Reilly also confirmed that Beth and Rip will have to work with Belulah in order to save Carter, which is where Clavell can bring some of his Justified experience to the table. Throughout Justified‘s six-season run, U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) was forever at odds with his childhood friend-turned-criminal Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins), though there were times when the two had to work together. With a similar dynamic fueling Dutton Ranch, Clavell has the chance to further push the rivalry between Beth and Beluah to a new level while still keeping the bloody frontier justice that Yellowstone is known for.
Benjamin Clavell Is No Stranger To Giving Paramount+ a Hit Show
In addition to his work on Justified, Benjamin Clavell has a history with Paramount+, as he created SEAL Team, the David Boreanaz-led military thriller that started life on CBS before moving to the streamer. SEAL Team follows the exploits of a group of Navy SEALs as they carry out extremely dangerous missions, while also exploring the toll warfare takes on them and their families. Again, we have a Clavell-helmed series that focuses on family bonds and the difficult moral choices one must make in certain situations, which makes him a perfect fit for Dutton Ranch.
While Dutton Ranch may have lost its creator, having Benjamin Clavell come in as showrunner could prove a boost for the show. Not only is the show receiving one of the creative forces behind Justified, but it is also getting a television veteran who knows how to create compelling shows.

CNN Addresses Scott Jennings’ Mitch McConnell Claims
CNN is addressing political commentator Scott Jennings’ recent claim he spoke with Mitch McConnell at length amid the senator’s ongoing and undisclosed health issue.
“As a CNN Political Commentator, Scott Jennings is not a full-time employee or journalist for the network,” a spokesperson for the network told The Daily Beast on Friday, July 10. “His account of a personal conversation with Senator McConnell reflects his experience and is not CNN reporting.”
Jennings, 48, alleged on a Tuesday, July 7, broadcast of CNN that he spoke to McConnell, 84, earlier that day for “about 17 minutes” while the senator was in the hospital. He further claimed that McConnell was “preparing, at some point, to go back to work” and denied reports that he was comatose or a “vegetable.”
Jennings had also tweeted about his alleged conversation with McConnell.
“He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes … about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the TR Presidential Library and even a little bit of Senate history,” Jennings wrote via X at the time. “I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.”
McConnell was reportedly found unconscious in June after suffering a suspected heart attack.
“Senator McConnell is still working closely with staff on Senate business and Kentucky matters as he continues his recovery,” his spokesperson, Stephanie Penn, later told People via email on July 1. “However, he will not be voting this week.”
Days later, reports swirled that McConnell was brain dead amid his mysterious condition.
“Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he’s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital,” McConnell’s office said in a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, shutting down the speculation. “The senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session.”
McConnell, who has not further addressed his health scare, was previously hospitalized in February.
“In an abundance of caution, after experiencing flu-like symptoms over the weekend, Senator McConnell checked himself into a local hospital for evaluation [on Monday, February 2],” his rep told Us at the time. “His prognosis is positive and he is grateful for the excellent care he is receiving. He is in regular contact with his staff and looks forward to returning to Senate business.”
McConnell has represented Kentucky in the United States Senate since 1985. Currently in his seventh term, the politician announced in 2025 that he didn’t plan to seek reelection the next year.

What Allie Eklund Wants in a BF After Steven McBee Jr. Split
Allie Eklund is in no hurry to jump back into the dating pool following her messy and very public split from The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys star Steven McBee Jr.
“For me, at this point in my life, you know, it would be really hard to randomly date and get back out there,” Eklund exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, July 10, while discussing her personal business venture Triple E Mercantile, a collection of goods inspired by her family’s private Texas Hill country ranch, home to more than 100 animals.
“I just turned 29 this year, and catching someone up to speed on everything that has happened in my life just seems pretty daunting, to be honest,” she continued. “I can’t even imagine, you know, first date conversations. And whenever I was dating Steven, you know, I didn’t think that I was going to have first dates again. So, I’ve been wrapping my head around that.”
Eklund famously split from McBee Jr., 33, in April, after the reality TV star accused her of cheating on him after attending Stagecoach. Eklund vehemently denied the allegations, and Mcbee Jr. eventually issued a public apology, vowing to do “better” while revealing he would be seeking mental health care at a wellness retreat.
While Eklund isn’t rushing to jump into another romance, she does know what she is looking for in a potential, future partner.

“I really would prefer to date someone that’s been in my life before, is what I am thinking,” she revealed to us. “[Someone] that I know has a proven track record of supporting me. I think with men, it’s really easy — in my experience — for them to say that they love all the things that I’m doing and admire it, but then they end up resenting me for it and wanting to change me and my experience with dating. That’s what I’ve seen play [out] over and over and over again.”
She added, “So, maybe dating someone that’s already been in my life or from my past that I know supports me and loves me and my career and my family, and I have a proven track record of, that is who I’m interested in being with.”
While Eklund and McBee Jr. are no longer a romantic item, fans of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys have been watching their relationship play out on season 3 of the hit reality TV series.
Eklund told Us that some of the tensions fans will witness between the former couple and prior to their split revolved around her desire to move to Texas while Steven’s family resides in Missouri.
“I had plans to go back to Texas before I met him and I was sticking to my word on that,” she explained to Us. “And he wanted to be together, and was, you know, wanting to come to Texas, [while] I wanted him to stay in Missouri and we would, you know, find time to continue getting to know each other. You know, there was no rush to move states so quickly.”
She continued, “Having someone in Texas would obviously be amazing, because my family is here and I would love to stay in Texas long-term and raise a family here the way that I was raised here. So I would love to find someone in Texas, and a lot of Texas boys are cowboys. So they are not off the table for me. We’ll see.”
The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.

Britney Spears Makes Strange Age Claim After Freeway Stunt
Britney Spears is continuing to tell her story on her own terms. Just hours after insisting that critics misunderstood her headline-making freeway stunt, the pop icon returned to Instagram with another deeply personal message, this time reflecting on mythology, mysterious worlds beneath the ocean, the power of fiction, and even whether people can somehow age backwards.
The post, accompanied by a video of Spears dancing around her living room in a peplum top, black mini skirt, and knee-high boots, arrived after she defended photos showing her standing through the sunroof of a moving SUV on a Los Angeles freeway.
Rather than distancing herself from the attention, Spears instead invited followers into the stream of thoughts occupying her mind.
Spears opened her lengthy Instagram caption by diving into subjects that have fascinated people for generations.
“Does anyone believe in mythology.. vampires, ghost, mermaids the things ur not supposed to talk about,” she wrote before wondering why those very topics continue to capture so much curiosity.
The Grammy winner then shifted her attention beneath the ocean’s surface, describing the sea as one of Earth’s greatest mysteries.
She reflected on documentaries she had watched and noted that only a small number of people have explored the deepest parts of the ocean because of the dangers involved.
“So much has not been seen,” she wrote, adding that she sometimes wonders whether there could be “different worlds” hidden below the surface.
Rather than presenting those ideas as facts, Spears framed them as part of her imagination, explaining that she’s always been “a dreamer.”
Britney Spears Says Books Let Her Escape Reality

From there, Spears revealed that reading has become one of her favorite ways to disconnect from everyday life.
She described becoming so absorbed in novels that she races through them almost without stopping.
“I’ve read millions of books about it in fiction but it’s fun to escape realities,” she wrote, before joking about “the gift of literally destroying a book in 20 minutes almost eating the pages with your teeth cus your so f-cking into is why I’m here.”
For Spears, the appeal goes beyond entertainment. She described reading as an emotional experience that allows people to become completely invested in fictional characters and worlds.
Calling that ability “such a gift,” the singer explained that readers can scream, laugh, cry, and even fall in love with characters who don’t actually exist.
She then revealed she is currently reading a novel that reminds her of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” the famous story centered on a man who ages in reverse.
Although Spears admitted the writing felt “a bit slow,” she said she wanted to keep reading to discover where the story ultimately leads.
Spears Says She Suddenly Looked ‘6 Or 7 Years Old’

The book unexpectedly led Britney Spears to reflect on something she says happened after finishing several chapters the night before.
According to the singer, she suddenly decided to put on the outfit featured in the video accompanying her post simply to see herself wearing a skirt.
What happened next left her genuinely surprised. “It was extremely weird cus I all of a sudden look 6 or 7 years old yet the next day I’m 40 again,” Spears wrote.
The observation prompted her to wonder whether people could somehow appear to age backwards “at the drop of a hat out of nowhere.”
She admitted the experience was difficult to explain, concluding that “the mysteries of the universe are beyond my comprehension,” while saying the video itself “tripped me out.”
Before ending the post, Spears returned to the subject of the ocean, recalling a conversation with a friend who told her about the intense air pressure involved in exploring its deepest regions.
“He told me he was certified as someone who supposedly explored the deepest and rarest parts,” she wrote before adding, “I mean who knows…”
The New Post Follows Britney Spears’ Freeway Stunt

The philosophical message came only hours after Spears addressed another topic dominating headlines.
Days earlier, photographers captured the singer standing through the sunroof of a black Mercedes SUV while traveling along Los Angeles’ 101 Freeway.
The images quickly spread online, with many questioning whether the moment had been unnecessarily risky.
Spears Explains Freeway Stunt
Britney Spears later responded on Instagram, dismissing the assumptions people had drawn from the photographs.
“What people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords !!!!!” she wrote.
She followed that by insisting, “yet the days and hours of my reality !!!!!! Nothing is what it seems.”
Rather than apologizing, Spears jokingly added, “Psss I think I need to come out of the roof quite a bit more.”
Before Spears commented herself, a source close to the singer had told the Daily Mail that she briefly emerged through the sunroof simply to see what was causing traffic ahead and had no intention of doing anything dangerous.

Sydney Sweeney’s R-Rated Sleeper Hit Officially Returns With New Release This Month
This week has been dominated by talk of physical media dying out for good, after Sony announced it would stop manufacturing physical video game discs starting in 2028. The news shook up the entire entertainment industry. And it wasn’t just a gaming problem either, since Sony also happens to be one of the biggest manufacturers of Blu-rays on the market.
But it looks like there’s finally some good news for physical media, because one of the most underrated and slept-on rom-coms of recent years is about to get a major physical media upgrade. The film in question opened to a lackluster $6 million in the United States and Canada during its December 2023 debut, and critics weren’t exactly kind to it either. Still, a rom-com led by two of Hollywood’s most beautiful, charismatic new stars was always going to find its audience, and it did exactly that.
That film is Anyone But You, starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, and it went on to gross $220 million worldwide on a modest $25 million budget. The movie already got a Blu-ray release back in March 2024, and has continued performing well on streaming and PVOD platforms ever since. Now, it looks like those original Blu-rays have been flying off shelves, because Sony has decided to give the film a proper 4K upgrade. A new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray is currently up for pre-order at $34.99, with a release date set for July 21.
‘Anyone But You’ Remains One of the Most Divisive Rom-Coms in Recent Memory
Anyone But You holds a rotten 53% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, but general audiences clearly disagreed, handing it a stellar 87% score of their own. That gap is unusual, since critics tend to be more forgiving toward the rom-com genre as a whole. Jennifer Lawrence‘s No Hard Feelings, released that same year, managed to score a much better 71% critics’ score by comparison. Critics were tougher on Anyone But You largely because it leaned on familiar rom-com tropes instead of putting a fresh spin on them.
For general audiences, though, that familiarity was part of the charm. It delivered exactly the kind of wholesome yet raunchy rom-com experience people had been craving to see on the big screen, packed with flirty banter, ridiculous misunderstandings, and of course, plenty of butts and boobs. The cliffside spider scene, where Sweeney’s character has to reach into Powell’s shorts to remove a spider, is worth the price of admission alone. With a 4K release now locked in, fans finally get the chance to revisit the movie in the best quality yet.
Anyone But You is available to stream on Hulu.

Amazon’s Best Book of the Year So Far Is Perfect for ‘His & Hers’ Fans
Netflix hasn’t missed a step in 2026, consistently releasing some of the biggest TV titles in the world, from cozy sitcoms and reality shows to true-crime docs and sci-fi favorites. One of the most popular shows of the year arrived back in January, becoming an unlikely smash hit at the start of the year. Based on Alice Feeney‘s 2020 mystery thriller of the same name, His & Hers took viewers on a twisting tale of murder and deceit starring the pitch-perfect duo of Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson.
The series proved an enormous hit for Netflix, earning 428.9 million hours viewed and becoming the 10th most popular English-language TV title of all time on the streamer. “Bernthal and Thompson lead the viewer through a twisty narrative that surprisingly tugs at your heartstrings and leaves you wondering if there’s anyone — anywhere — that you can actually trust,” wrote Emily Bernard in her review of the series for Collider, with many critics praising the show for its tackling of themes such as complex female relationships and the effects of growing up without a mother.
But this isn’t the only brilliant story to tackle these themes successfully in 2026. Recently, Amazon announced its annual best books of the year so far list, with bestselling author Tyari Jones‘s novel Kin topping the charts. Described by Al Woodworth, senior editor for Amazon Books, as “unforgettable, heartbreaking, and redemptive,” this novel is the perfect option for anyone who loved His & Hers on Netflix. “It’s one of those books that hits you and then just stays with you,” Woodworth continued. “It made it a really obvious choice for No. 1 because it’s just a book that we want to talk about all the time.“
Another Novel Adaptation Is a Big Netflix Hit Right Now
Adaptations of popular novels have perhaps not been more popular this decade than today, with the Netflix top ten rarely missing at least one. The latest to prove a massive hit is I Will Find You, yet another Netflix collaboration with acclaimed crime author Harlan Coben. Already one of the most-watched Netflix shows of the last few years, thanks to earning over 85 million views as of last week, this Britt Lower and Sam Worthington-led series is a firm favorite.
Stay tuned to Collider for the latest stories, and check out His & Hers on Netflix.

Donald Trump Spoke to Lindsey Graham Hours Before Death
President Donald Trump is giving insight into what he says where Senator Lindsey Graham’s final hours before his shocking death at age 71.
“So, what makes it even stranger is I got a call last night something in the early evening — maybe in the sevens — and he called and said, ‘We’re all set for the Save America Act,’ the president, 80, said while calling into the Sunday, July 12, episode of NBC’s Meet the Press. (Trump was referring to his controversial voting bill that many experts have argued will actually make it more difficult for U.S. citizens to vote.)
”He was pushing the Save America Act like crazy,” the president continued. “He got back, said he just landed from Ukraine, I said, ‘That’s a long trip.’ He sounded a little tired, but perfect, but a little bit tired — he had the right to be, he was a worker. He was really a worker. But he sounded great, actually. But he actually said he was tired.”
Trump added, “But he wanted to pass the Save America Act, and I said, “Well, we’re gonna get it done, Lindsey. We’re gonna get it done. See you soon.’ We might even meet today, and then that was it. That was very, around the time… it couldn’t have been much longer. It could have been his last call, I don’t know exactly.”
The South Carolina senator’s office confirmed Sunday morning that Graham had died the previous evening at the age of 71 after battling a “brief and sudden illness.”
“On the evening of Saturday, July 11, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham passed away from a brief and sudden illness,” a spokesperson for the late politician said in a written statement shared via X. “Senator Graham’s family appreciates prayers at this time and asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult period.”
According to a report from NBC News, emergency services personnel responded to a call for “cardiac arrest” at the late senator’s Washington, D.C. home on Saturday evening. Photos obtained by the outlet indicated that medics carried a person out of the residence on a stretched and into an ambulance.

Senator Graham’s official cause of death has not been released at the time of publication.
Graham was scheduled to appear on Meet the Press on Sunday to discuss his recent visit to Kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Senator Lindsey Graham was scheduled to appear on @MeetThePress this morning,” moderator Kristen Welker wrote via X early on Sunday. “It would have been his 64th appearance on this broadcast. We are sending our deepest condolences to his family and colleagues.”
While speaking to Welker Sunday morning, President Trump detailed his initial reaction to the news that Graham had died.
“I got a message about one in the morning from one of the people in ihs office that he had passed away,” Trump recalled. “I said … I just can’t believe it. He was like a member of the family to me. It is very tough actually.”
When asked to discuss Graham’s legacy following his shocking death, Trump recalled how much the late politician loved the job.
“There was nobody like him,” he said. “He loved beinga politician and he was going to win his election. He was going to win it big. I endorsed him very early and he was gonna win it big He just got it made, and he just loved being a politician. I said, ‘The reason I’m endorsing you is because I gotta make sure you win because if you didn’t win I don’t think you can handle life.’ You know, there are guys who can lose and go into something else. I couldn’t imagine him doing something else.”
The president continued, ‘I said, ‘If you weren’t a U.S. senator I don’t think you could live for very long.’ And look what happened.”
