Million Dollar Listings Tracy Tutor Reveals How Close She Got to Joining RHOBH

Morgan Stewart will not be checking into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The Rich Kids of Beverly Hills alum took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 19, to shut down online speculation that she will join the RHOBH cast for season 16.

“I don’t know what happened today but no I am not joining [RHOBH],” Morgan, 38, wrote in an Instagram Story, responding to a follower asking her about the rumors.

While Morgan won’t be joining Kyle Richards and company, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum Tracy Tutor confirmed that she is joining the gang on Wednesday.

“Well… the secret’s officially out 💎,” Tracy, 51, wrote via Instagram. “I’m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I could not be more excited for this next chapter.

The real estate agent added, “Beverly Hills is home. I’ve raised my girls here, built my career here, and now apparently I’ve decided to let you all even further into my life. 😂”

“Excited? Very. Nervous? A little. Likely to get into some trouble? Absolutely,” she teased. “So what’s left to say but, Let’s f***ing go. 🥂💎”

RHOBH executive producer Andy Cohen commented on Tracy’s post, “This has been a long time coming! 👏👏👏👏💎💎💎💎💎💎”

While Bravo hasn’t confirmed the exact lineup for RHOBH season 16, money influencer Amanda Frances confirmed her departure after just one season earlier in August.

“My time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is complete,” Amanda, 40, wrote via Instagram. “Saying yes to this show was one of the boldest, wildest, most clarifying things I’ve ever done. And I am genuinely grateful — grateful for the experience. The women. The viewers who saw me, rooted for me, challenged me, quoted me, misunderstood me, defended me, found my work, bought my books, or simply watched me try to explain metaphysics in a room full of diamonds and side-eyes.”

“Beverly Hills, thank you,” she continued. “I am taking the clarity, the lessons, the plot twists, the spiritual warfare, and the occasional deeply unnecessary dinner party drama into all that God has for me next.”

“And to anyone watching, please know: Your next move does not require anyone’s approval. Your evolution does not need a permission slip. And you can be grateful for an opportunity and know when it’s time to leave,” the Rich As F*ck author shared.

Amanda and RHOBH OG Kyle were joined on season 15 by fellow newcomer Rachel Zoe and veterans Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Dorit Kemsley and Bozoma Saint John. Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton also returned as “friends” of the group.

The 15 Best ‘Breaking Bad’ Quotes, Ranked

Published

on

Walter White confronting someone in 'Breaking Bad's Season 2, Episode 10 "Over."

Breaking Bad is one of the most iconic TV shows of all time. The series, following a chemistry schoolteacher who is diagnosed with an inoperable lung cancer and decides to cook meth to provide money for his family, instantly became a renowned television success. It has since served as a blueprint not just for the crime genre, but for the small screen as a whole.

Across its five scintillating seasons, it featured some of the greatest characters and most intense moments that the medium has ever seen. It also has a litany of brilliant quotes, ranging from hilarious lines of dialogue to imposing monologues which have only grown more iconic in the years since Breaking Bad finished. These are the best quotes from Breaking Bad.

The main reason why Bryan Cranston‘s portrayal of Walter White is easily one of the best TV performances of all time is just how well the actor sells Walt’s transformation. That transformation, of course, begins as soon as the pilot kicks in. It’s Breaking Bad‘s second season, however—particularly toward its final few episodes, “Over” included—that really sees Walt’s most pivotal early moments.

In “Over,” Walt first gives an amateur cook he runs into at a hardware store some tips. Right after the guy runs away, however, Walt realizes the seriousness of the situation. He walks to the parking lot and tells the man and his partner to stay out of his territory. “This is when Walter White became Heisenberg” tends to be a meme on the Internet, but this line truly is the earliest glimpse of Walter beginning to see himself as a kingpin. —Diego Pineda Pacheco

Gustavo Fring – Season 4, Episode 11 (2011)

Gus looking down at Walt in 'Breaking Bad' season 4, episode 11, 'Crawl Space' Image via AMC

Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) tends to be widely recognized as one of the greatest and scariest villains in the history of television, and for good reason. His public persona is that of a polite, law-abiding businessman, while the criminal mastermind mask he chooses to don is that of a quiet, tidy, yet impossibly strict kingpin. In “Crawl Space,” however, even that mask comes off.

When Gus goes so far as to threaten the entirety of Walt’s family, it’s a line and a moment which serve multiple purposes. Fans get to see that there’s someone far more violent and sadistic hiding under Gus’ mild-mannered surface than he typically prefers to show, and Walt comes to understand that there is no version of the story where Gus lives and his loved ones come out on the other side unscathed. — Diego Pineda Pacheco

At no point does Breaking Bad pretend that Hank Schrader (Dean Norris), Walt’s brother-in-law, is a perfect man. As the show’s primary lawman, however, this DEA special agent does tend to serve as Breaking Bad‘s moral compass. Alas, there is no better way of raising the stakes in a drama series’ final season than by killing the moral compass character off, a trope that Hank fell victim to in what many people consider the best TV episode in history, “Ozymandias.”

There are plenty of moments in Breaking Bad‘s final season that can be considered turning points, both for the show as a whole and for Walter more specifically. There is no turning point, however, more vital or pivotal than Hank’s death, a moment that proves why this is the best crime show that gets darker every episode. Hank’s final words exchanged with Walt are both a poignant way to bid farewell to his brother-in-law, as well as a perfect final summary of the contrasts between these two characters. —Diego Pineda Pacheco

“If you don’t know who I am… then maybe your best course… would be to tread lightly.”

Walter White – Season 5, Episode 9 (2013)

It’s only for a few episodes that we get to see Walt and Hank interacting as true enemies, but the moments that we do get of their interactions are far and away among the show’s most potent scenes. Case in point: the scene in “Blood Money” where Walt walks into Hank’s garage, leading to a physical altercation and Heisenberg giving his brother-in-law an ultimatum.

Breaking Bad is one of the best thriller shows where nobody can be trusted, and there was no way for Hank to find that out more impactful than Walter indirectly threatening his life. It’s the indirect nature of the threat, and the chillingly emotional way in which Bryan Cranston delivers the line, that makes it one of Breaking Bad‘s most jaw-dropping bits of dialogue. — Diego Pineda Pacheco

“I’m in the empire business.”

Walter White – Season 5, Episode 6 (2012)

Walter White sits in his lounge room, telling Jesse about how he sold his share in Gray Matter. Image via AMC

Perhaps the perfect snapshot audiences get into Walter White’s vindictive personality, his “I’m in the empire business” quote showed how selfish he really was. With Jesse (Aaron Paul) and Mike (Jonathan Banks) eager to sell the stolen methylamine, Jesse must confront Walter to tell him the buyer will only make the deal if Walter’s share — worth $5 million — is included.

Jesse highlights how Walter’s goal was always to make money fast, and that $5 million was far more than he ever hoped to make, but Walter refuses. Monologuing about his past life, Walter hints at his envious disdain for his past associates at Gray Matter and all but announces that his meth operation has become about much more than money.

“No more half-measures, Walter.”

Mike Ehrmantraut – Season 3, Episode 12 (2010)

Mike sits with Walter in a dimly lit room, telling him about a domestic abuse case he worked when he was a cop. Image via AMC

As a no-nonsense enforcer for Gustavo Fring and later Walter White, Mike Ehrmantraut was often a surprising voice of reason. With Walter facing a difficult crossroads, Mike sheds some insight from his past life as a police officer.

His story details a repeat domestic abuser whom Mike tried to scare straight, only for his conservative warning to fall on deaf ears as the thug beat his girlfriend to death two weeks later. The closing of his monologue, simply stating “no more half-measures, Walter”, emphasizes Mike’s cynical worldview, but also highlights that going easy on people isn’t an option in their world.

“I watched Jane die.”

Walter White – Season 5, Episode 14 (2013)

Walter White confronts Jesse about watching Jane die. Image via AMC

Breaking Bad was always a series that had its comedic elements, many of which came from the unlikely though lovable partnership between Walter and his former student Jesse. A major thread in the show’s final season, though, was how that relationship soured, with Jesse’s intent to bring Walter down leading to a spiteful feud between the two.

Walter’s sickeningly cold-blooded confession to Jesse about how he watched his girlfriend overdose and did nothing to prevent it proved to be the absolute final straw in the two going from colleagues to bitter enemies. It also gave audiences an emphatic reminder that Walter White, despite starting the show as a likable though flawed character, had become a cruel and evil villain.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

“This is my own private domicile, and I will not be harassed… b***h.”

Jesse Pinkman – Season 3, Episode 6 (2010)

From the confines of the RV, Jesse Pinkman is instructed by Walter to tell Hank that he won't be disturbed. Image via AMC

In a series full of power-hungry, cut-throat criminals, Jesse was often something of a lovable relief. A surprisingly good-natured meth-cooking drug dealer, Pinkman was often defined by his kind demeanor, which hid beneath his crude presentation; however, Aaron Paul’s performance will be forever remembered for his truly iconic use of the word “b***h”.

A highlight of his foul-mouthed hilarity came when Hank was trying to break into the RV while Jesse and Walter hid inside. Walter tells Jesse what to say to prevent Hank from barging in on them. Jesse added his own inflection to the famous line, with his hesitant “b*tch” the perfect exclamation point.

7

“A man provides.”

Gustavo Fring – Season 3, Episode 5 (2010)

Gustavo Fring shows Walter White around an incredible laboratory, trying to convince him to work for him.

With Giancarlo Esposito’s magnetic presence, Gustavo Fring quickly became a fan favorite even as one of Breaking Bad‘s most imposing villains. A significant reason for that came from the way in which he spoke, with his calm, calculating demeanor almost always on display, but rarely more compelling than when he tried to convince Walter to work in his lab.

With Walter having his own doubts linked to family issues, Gus taps into his core motivations with his dialogue about how a man must provide for his family even when he isn’t appreciated. It proves to be an effective speech too, as Walter agrees to work for Gus later in the episode.

6

“Just because you shot Jesse James, don’t make you Jesse James.”

Mike Ehrmantraut – Season 5, Episode 3 (2012)

In a darkened room, Mike confronts Negan as he dishes out the pay from a recent job. Image via AMC

The latter seasons of Breaking Bad saw Walter develop a knack for letting his ego get away from him, something few characters were able to sort out as succinctly as Mike. With a deal done, Walt, Mike, and Jesse are sorting out payment, and Walter states his disapproval of the allotment shared.

Commenting on how it is less money than they got when they worked for Gus, Mike, with his flawless, deadpan expression, uses his Jesse James analogy to give Walter the lay of the land. The blunt yet pointed remark alone was enough to tell Walter – and audiences – that any plans he may have had of taking over Fring’s empire would not yield success.

I’m always looking for ways to make getting dressed easier, and I’m officially calling matching outfits my new ‘carpool sets.’ These throw-on-and-go combinations make you look put-together in about 30 seconds, even when the morning feels chaotic. Better yet, many of my favorite options work especially well for the tricky summer-to-fall stretch.

I found 17 Amazon sets that I’d happily wear well beyond the school drop-off line, from sporty skort outfits to polished wide-leg pairings and even a desk-ready blazer look. Some are comfy enough for errands and coffee runs, while others could easily carry you through work, dinner and everything in between. Plus, with prices starting at just $16, looking pulled together before 8 a.m. doesn’t mean spending excess time or money.

17 Amazon ‘Carpool Sets’ for Looking Put-Together in 30 Seconds

1. My Favorite: This sporty sweatshirt-and-skort combo feels made for mornings during that tricky transitional season. The long-sleeve top adds a little warmth, while the mini skort keeps things breezy enough for warmer afternoons.

2. Bestseller Alert: More than 2,600 shoppers have weighed in on this T-shirt and wide-leg pants pairing, with one calling it “quick and easy to throw on.” It’s also a number one bestseller, making it a top contender for hectic carpool mornings.

3. Wallet-Friendly: This hoodie-and-jogger set proves a put-together carpool outfit doesn’t have to come with a big price tag — it’s just $16! I’d lean into the sporty vibe with crisp white sneakers and a crossbody bag for an easy fall uniform.

4. Coffee Run Chic: I’m picturing this olive wide-leg look with white sneakers and a structured tote for a carpool-to-coffee outfit that takes virtually no effort. The mock neckline dresses things up, while the sleeveless design keeps it from feeling too heavy for in-between weather.

5. Desk to Dinner: I like this sleeveless blazer-and-trouser pairing for days when drop-off is just the beginning of the itinerary. The tailored silhouette looks polished enough for the office, happy hour or dinner afterward, while the matching design means the outfit planning is already done.

My 64-year-old mom recently mentioned that her closet could use a little refresh before fall, and as a shopping editor, I was more than happy to take on the assignment. I wanted to find pieces that feel current without straying too far from her classic style, with plenty of comfortable options she can wear to […]

6. Minimalist Mom: When I only have 30 seconds to spare, a monochromatic outfit is practically a styling cheat code. This beige matching number already looks cohesive from head to toe, and the flowy fit makes it feel much more elevated than standard sweats.

7. Three-for-One: I love that this layer-ready black trio essentially gives you multiple carpool outfits in one. The tank and joggers work for lingering summer weather, while the coordinating cardigan is ready to swoop in the second fall temperatures show up.

8. Designer Energy: I’m a sucker for little details that make an affordable outfit look expensive, and the contrast piping on this sleek black-and-white duo does just that. At $20 for both pieces, it’s one of those finds that looks like it should cost considerably more.

9. Tennis Club: This preppy skort-and-tee look has the sporty polish I’m always drawn to in an easy daytime outfit. I’d add sneakers and a crossbody for carpool, errands and whatever else gets squeezed in before dinner.

10. Athleisure Upgrade: I’d choose this black side-stripe pairing on days when sweats sound appealing, but I want something with a little more fashion credibility. The dramatic wide legs and crisp white stripes give classic athleisure a cool, street-style edge.

11. Pleats, Please: Between the vertical pleats and monochromatic palette, this cream wide-leg look has all the ingredients for a sleek, elongated silhouette. The 37% discount is just a bonus, dropping the entire outfit to $28.

12. French Girl-Inspired: Stripes are one of those prints that always read très chic to me, so this striped shorts set was an easy addition to my list. The V-neck and black-and-cream palette bring the French-girl energy, while the relaxed shorts make sense for warmer carpool mornings.

13. Denim Darling: Double denim can require some serious styling finesse, but this halter-and-wide-leg pairing takes all the guesswork out of it. I love that the breezy neckline works for late summer while the denim gives the whole outfit an early-fall feel.

14. Bow-tiful Find: Those playful shoulder bows are what separate this contrast-trim trouser look from the sea of basic matching sets. I’d add a woven tote and sandals now, then layer on a cardigan once cooler early-fall evenings arrive.

15. Flowy Favorite: On mornings when I don’t want anything clingy, this cape-sleeve pants look is exactly the kind of silhouette I gravitate toward. The drapey top floats away from the body, while the wide-leg pants keep that loose, forgiving feel going from top to bottom.

16. Sneakers to Heels: I can already picture this sleek wide-leg pairing with sneakers and a cardigan at 8 a.m., then heels and gold jewelry at 8 p.m. Few 30-second outfits can pull off both ends of the day quite this easily.

17. Ruffle Up: A few fluttery details are all it takes to make this half-zip pants look feel much prettier than typical athleisure. The ruffled sleeves soften up the sporty half-zip, making it cute enough to keep wearing long after morning carpool ends.

Denzel Washington’s 127-Minute Action Thriller Is Quietly One of the Best Westerns Streaming

Published

on

The titular heroes of The Magnificent Seven (2016)

Very few actors have proven as versatile or as magnetic as Denzel Washington. Washington can embody nearly any role, whether it’s a corrupt cop in Training Day or a socially awkward lawyer in Roman J. Israel, Esq. He can also slip into different genres and has proven himself a bona fide action hero in movies like The Equalizer trilogy and Man on Fire. However, one of Washington’s more underrated action roles is in a remake of one of the greatest Western movies ever made, which not only put a fresh spin on a classic story but also reunited him with The Equalizer director Antoine Fuqua.

That movie is The Magnificent Seven. Like the original 1960 Western (and its original inspiration, Seven Samurai), Fuqua’s take on The Magnificent Seven features seven bounty hunters being recruited to protect the small town of Rose Creek. The screenplay by Equalizer writer Richard Wenk and True Detective scribe Nic Pizzolatto provides some clever updates: instead of a group of bandits, the Seven are fighting against robber baron Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), who wants Rose Creek’s residents to turn over their land to him and isn’t shy about using force to do it. While The Magnificent Seven might have received a mixed reception 10 years ago, it remains an action-packed watch.

Denzel Washington Leads a Star-Studded Cast in ‘The Magnificent Seven’

Perhaps the biggest draw of the Magnificent Seven remake is the cast that makes up the titular group of bounty hunters, thanks to its diversity and the characters that bring something unique to the table. Joshua Faraday (Chris Pratt) is a skilled gambler and crack shot. The Comanche warrior Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier) is an expert tracker. Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio) possesses terrifying strength, but a contemplative soul. This mix of skills and personalities helps Fuqua add depth to scenes where the Seven get to know each other, and deliver action sequences you wouldn’t see in any other Western.

Of course, it’s Washington who delivers the best performance as bounty hunter Sam Chisholm. Chisholm steals every scene he’s in, thanks to Washington’s quiet yet powerful performance and a slow unraveling of his past that reveals his very personal reasons for wanting to defend Rogue Creek. Washington’s presence also might have helped The Magnificent Seven top the box office in its opening weekend, as he was the biggest star in the cast. Ironically, most of the Magnificent Seven cast have gone on to have healthy careers, with Martin Sensmeier and Luke Grimes joining another massive Western story thanks to their roles in the Yellowstone franchise.

The ‘Magnificent Seven’ Remake Doubles as a ‘Training Day’ Reunion

The Magnificent Seven features one of the most unlikely reunions in Hollywood history, as its cast includes Ethan Hawke — who previously worked with Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua on Training Day. Hawke later revealed that he asked Fuqua to cast him in the movie once he learned about it, especially since Fuqua let him flesh out his character, Goodnight Robicheaux.

“Antoine gave me a lot of free rein. We’ve learned to trust each other over the years, so he knows I won’t totally go off the deep end. I mean, there is something dynamic about [my character] Goodnight, a former Confederate soldier who’s now partnered with Denzel. How could that be?”

This resulted in a gripping performance from Hawke, who peels back Robicheaux’s layers as The Magnificent Seven plays out. While Robicheaux is best known for his expert sharpshooting, the Civil War left him emotionally broken. This level of character work separates The Magnificent Seven from other remakesand proves you can have great acting and greatviolence in an action movie. Prime Video is developing a new Magnificent Seven television series, and they should look to Fuqua’s take for inspiration, or better yet, cast an actor who can match Denzel Washington.

Prime Video’s Gritty 2-Part Action Thriller Officially Returns With First Trailer

Published

on

jbyakynexl1pokznemb6qobn60s.jpg

The past four years have been a bit of a whirlwind for Chris Pratt. In that time, he wrapped up James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy with a bang, became the voice of Super Mario and Garfield, reteamed with Anthony and Joe Russo for their Netflix flop The Electric State, and most recently, fought to prove his innocence to an AI Rebecca Ferguson in Mercy. Guardians Vol. 3 also confirmed that his time in the MCU wasn’t up yet, laying the groundwork for another appearance with the tease “The legendary Star Lord will return.” One thing that hasn’t happened yet, though, is Season 2 of his smash hit action thriller, The Terminal List.

Pratt first embodied U.S. Navy SEAL James Reece back in 2022, yet it’s been a long road to adapting the next of author Jack Carr‘s novels. He did at least reprise the role in the prequel spin-off series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, last year, but viewers have been anticipating what’s next after his violent campaign to get answers and avenge his family. Season 1 left him on a boat bound for Mozambique with no real place in the world after his old life was ripped away from him and plenty of questions about his next mission. At last, though, the wait is nearly over, and Prime Video has shared the first trailer for Season 2, picking up right where Reece left off, but with a newfound purpose.

Reece isn’t in the best shape when the footage starts, looking disheveled, experiencing double-vision, and reliving one traumatic memory after another thanks to that “bomb” in his head. Once he arrives on shore and settles into his new environment across the Indian Ocean, however, the government is eager to enlist his services given what he was capable of in his days as a SEAL commander. Season 2 follows the events of Carr’s True Believer and points James on a path of violent redemption as his old teammate Freddy Strain, played by Terminal List newcomer Gabriel Luna, offers him the promise of a full presidential pardon, assuming he helps with an operation. Said mission will lead him all around Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, opening up into a conspiracy spanning from Moscow to Langley and even connecting to his own family history. Reece doesn’t have time on his side, though, as he’s slowly dying from a brain tumor, making him a little more willing to take risks and get the job done by any violent means necessary.

Heroes’ Jack Coleman ‘Heartbroken’ Over Hayden Panettiere

Published

on

Hayden Panettiere

Jack Coleman, who played Hayden Panettiere’s onscreen dad on Heroes, is expressing his grief over her death at the age of 36.

“I’m heartbroken. I couldn’t begin to put my thoughts into words until now, and they will be inadequate,” Coleman, 68, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, August 19.

He continued, “I’ve loved Hayden since day one of the pilot of Heroes, 20 years ago, when she introduced herself by shouting ‘daddy’ and throwing her arms around me. From that day on, she called me daddio. She was Haydini, because she was a magician.”

“She was a prodigious talent. During an early scene, a tear rolled down her cheek on the same line, take after take,” Coleman recalled. “I marveled at her technique. ‘It’s not technique,’ she corrected me. ‘I’m not a trained seal. I feel it and the tears just happen to come at that moment.’ She was 16.”

Hayden Panettiere was found unresponsive from an apparent overdose before her death. Authorities in South Carolina confirmed on Monday, August 17, that they responded to reports of an “unresponsive female” at a residence, who was later identified as Panettiere. According to TMZ, first responders attempted to resuscitate Panettiere using “advanced cardiac life support.” In addition […]

Coleman also reflected on the intense media attention Panettiere received after Heroes became a success.

“By 17 she was #1 on IMDB Pro. She was routinely asked obnoxious questions, mostly some version of ‘when are you going to go off the rails?’ Today, we’d recognize those questions for the misogynistic provocations they were,” he wrote.

“She was hunted. Everywhere she went, there were photographers with 300-millimeter lenses — the kind that can make even the most innocent activity look sinister,” Coleman said. “Once, when she came to our house, paparazzi hid in the bushes behind our yard and drove onto neighbors’ lawns. They were predatory. No one, especially a teenager, should be targeted that way.”

Coleman said that he is filled with “sorrow and regret” but also “anger.” He wrote, “But that’s for another time. Right now I want to remember an extraordinary young woman who was blessed and cursed. She was vulnerable. She felt everything. It made her a remarkable actor and susceptible to the heartache and thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to.”

“I love you, Hayden. I’ll miss you. I’m so sorry you suffered. I’ll remember how happy you were on set and on the European press tour; how you championed [Coleman’s daughter] Tess when she was being bullied; [and] your commitment to animal welfare and the courage to put yourself in harm’s way to protect them,” he wrote. “I only wish you had been given that same protection.”

“Goodnight, sweet girl. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest,” the actor concluded.

Panettiere was found unresponsive inside an apartment complex in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday, August 16. She was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Hayden Panettiere’s ‘Nashville’ Co-Star Shares Sad Wish

Published

on

Hayden Panettiere

For Jonathan Jackson, Hayden Panettiere was more than a beloved “Nashville” co-star. Their years working together created a friendship rooted in an understanding of the unusual pressures that come with growing up in the entertainment industry.

After Panettiere’s death, Jackson revisited that bond in an emotional tribute, remembering the woman behind Juliette Barnes and revealing the deeply personal hope he carried for her throughout their time together.

Jackson remembered Hayden Panettiere through photographs from their time filming “Nashville,” where their characters, Avery Buckley and Juliette Barnes, developed a romantic relationship that eventually led to marriage. However, the connection between the actors extended well beyond the show’s storyline.

Having both entered the entertainment industry young, Jackson said they shared an understanding of the pressures that could come with such an unusual childhood.

He described their connection as a “silent knowing of how intense the struggles can be.” Jackson began acting at just 11, making his first appearance on “General Hospital” in 1993.

That shared experience appeared to shape the friendship Jackson valued with Panettiere. He remembered her as someone whose talent was matched by an ability to connect with people emotionally.

“She had such a bright light within her,” he wrote on Instagram, describing her as “a sensitive soul” who was “Incredibly funny and witty.”

He also praised her empathy, compassion and extraordinary gifts, making clear that his memories of her went far beyond the character audiences knew on television.

Panettiere Was More Than A Co-star To Jonathan Jackson

Jackson’s tribute also offered a glimpse into the trust that developed between the two actors during their collaboration.

The 44-year-old described Hayden Panettiere as “an absolute joy to work with,” pointing out her ability to remain “Focused, spontaneous and brilliant.”

For Jackson, however, their friendship was ultimately defined by something more important than their performances. “The most important thing between friends and coworkers is trust, and we had this,” he wrote.

That trust helped create a relationship that Jackson and his wife Lisa came to regard as familial. The musician explained that they “both love and cherish her deeply, like our own sister.” Panettiere, he said, “holds that place in our hearts.”

It was from that deeply personal perspective that Jackson revealed the wish he had carried for Panettiere during their years together.

His hope was not about fame, career success or anything she could accomplish professionally. Instead, he wanted her to understand that she was loved and find the peace she was searching for.

“My prayer for her every day we worked together was that she would know how loved she is, and that she would find the peace that she was looking for,” Jackson wrote.

Hayden Panettiere’s Death Leaves Jackson Struggling For Words

The reality of Panettiere’s death led Jackson to acknowledge that some grief could not be easily expressed.

After sharing memories of their friendship and her qualities, he admitted that it was “not possible” to capture the full “shock and grief” surrounding her death.

His final words turned toward Panettiere’s family and the loss felt by those who knew her. Rather than trying to explain the tragedy, Jackson offered a prayer for the actress and the peace he had long hoped she would find.

“May God’s angels carry you to your place of rest and true peace,” he wrote. He then addressed Panettiere directly: “We love you Hayden. You will always be in our hearts. Always.”

Fans Praise Jackson’s Emotional Tribute To Panettiere

Jackson’s tribute to Hayden Panettiere prompted an outpouring of affection from fans who remembered the actress for both her talent and her memorable work alongside Jackson on “Nashville.”

One fan called the tribute “the most beautifully written post” they had read about Panettiere, adding that Jackson had given her “the honor and love she so deserves.”

The commenter also recalled recently rewatching “Nashville” for a second time and said they had admired Panettiere’s talent throughout the series.

Another fan focused on Jackson and Panettiere’s onscreen chemistry, writing, “I always loved your work together on Nashville. They were my favorite scenes,” before offering condolences to Jackson, the cast, Panettiere’s family and friends.

Other commenters were similarly touched by the affection in Jackson’s message. “Your words are so kind, pure and filled with so much love,” one person wrote while expressing sympathy over the loss of his friend.

Another fan acknowledged the difficult year Jackson has endured, writing, “You have lost special people this year,” before sending prayers to the “Nashville” family and Panettiere’s loved ones.

Hayden Panettiere’s Neighbor Claims She Called 911 “Half A Dozen Times” Over Disturbances

Days after Panettiere’s death, new details about the tragedy continue to come to light. Recently, claims from a former neighbor brought a much more troubling part of Panettiere’s life back into focus.

As The Blast reported, Mia Terrazas, who lived one door away from the actress’s West Hollywood condominium, revealed that she called 911 approximately “half a dozen times” because of disturbances at the Panettiere’s apartment involving her on-and-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson.

Terrazas said Panettiere appeared noticeably different when Hickerson was around, describing her as “subdued” and “almost like a different person.”

When asked whether she had witnessed anything that made her suspect domestic violence, the neighbor replied, “Oh, absolutely.”

She also recalled seeing Panettiere being taken away on a gurney while Hickerson was nearby. Terrazas further alleged that Hickerson once caused extensive damage inside the apartment, claiming he “ripped apart her bathroom” with a sledgehammer at 5 a.m.

Her account came amid renewed scrutiny of Panettiere’s turbulent history with Hickerson following her death.

Big Lex Says, “Set It Up,” While Reacting To Chrisean Rock Calling For A Fade

Lex reportedly took to Instagram to celebrate her victory by sharing several photos from fight night. The reality star wrote, Everyone counted me out, everyone betted against me, everyone wanted to see me lose … & thats the same reason im gone KEEP WINNING !! LIKE I said BIG LEX, NOT DA LIL ONE.”

Lex later made her way to Twitch to react to the full Claressa Shields vs. Kaye Scott event. While interacting with supporters in her chat, she seemingly shaded Scotty for appearing upset following her win. Furthermore,  Lex explained that she and Tesehki stepped into the ring for fun. People in her chat then asked her to react to Chrisean Rock’s reaction to her sister Tesehki losing the fight.

After watching the clip, Lex said she understood Chrisean’s reaction and could relate to how she felt.

“I felt her, I’m not gonna lie. I feel her pain. Because if I’m watching someone on TV and I’m watching them lose, I’m mad because I can’t be there,” she said.

Additionally, she went on to watch more clips from Chrisean and her friends’ stream, where Chrisean mentioned needing that fade. Lex then clarified that she is a certified boxer.

You talking about you’re gonna be able to touch me, whoever this is, it’s funny. And I get it, like, you have to follow up. If you want it, let’s set it up,” she said.

Lex also made it clear that she is willing to take on anyone who wants to face her. After hearing Chrisean say she “had to have that fade” with Big Lex, she echoed the challenge and said, “Set it up.”

Lex Shuts Down Critics Claiming Her Fight With Tesehki Was Rigged

Lex also showed love to her opponent, Tesehki, while reflecting on their fight during the stream.

Regardless of the critics, Tesehki did great. I love her. It was fun. Thank you, Tesehki, for teaming up with me to give everybody the Big Lex-Tesehki showdown,” she said.

Furthermore, she also made it clear that the fight wasn’t rigged. She explained that it was hard to enter the ring with anger because the matchup was ultimately for fun.

“If I would’ve lost, would it have been rigged then? Would it have been rigged if I lost or only if she lost? Does it only count one way or both ways?” she questioned.

Lex added that fans would have “sh**tted on” her if she had lost the fight. She then closed out the moment by playing her song ‘There she go.’

As Prince Harry prepares to return to the United Kingdom alongside Meghan Markle and their two children for the countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, attention is turning to where the family will stay during their upcoming visit. “Practical arrangements have been made,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “The top of their list would […]

“I wanted to protect that safe haven,” Meghan told People in a 2025 interview. “We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house.”

Earlier this summer, Meghan shared snippets of her travels abroad with Harry and their children. One image Meghan snapped and shared via Instagram is believed to have been taken at Althorp House, the Spencer family estate where Harry’s late mother grew up. (Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, currently lives on the property. She was buried in the “Oval Lake” island after her death in August 1997 at age 36.)

In the photo, Harry and Archie were carrying large white floral bouquets down a tree-lined path. Lilibet ran behind them as she carried a small purse in both of her hands. It is unclear whether Harry brought his family to visit Diana’s gravesite or home.

“Summer Holiday ☀️,” Meghan captioned the Instagram upload.
