Paris Jackson is opening up about the terrifying moment a friend nearly died after overdosing on drugs that belonged to her. The 28-year-old singer, who has spoken candidly about her past addiction to heroin and alcohol, said she was forced to rely on her first-responder training until paramedics arrived.
Jackson made the revelation during an appearance on Alex Cooper‘s “Call Her Daddy” podcast while discussing “Sirens,” one of the most emotional songs she has written. Despite being told that her quick response may have saved her friend’s life, Jackson admitted the traumatic experience did not immediately lead her to seek sobriety.

When Cooper asked Jackson which of her songs had been the most difficult to write, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson pointed to “Sirens.” “Probably ‘Sirens,’ that one’s very emotional. Yeah, that was about a buddy of mine that OD’d on my drugs, and I had to handle that till the paramedics arrived,” she revealed on the episode.
Jackson, who was around 20 years old when the incident occurred in 2018, remembered struggling with the unpredictability of her body’s response during the emergency. “That was scary because in a situation like that, you know, even though I had experience with being a trained first responder, when you go into fight or flight… it’s a gamble of how your brain’s going to react,” she explained. “Just because you know what to do, your brain still might tell you to freeze, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
Jackson managed to respond despite that fear and remained with her friend until emergency personnel reached them. “It was definitely a lucky situation, and the paramedics had said… if you had gotten there any later, he either would be dead or brain dead,” she recalled.
Jackson did not publicly identify the friend or disclose additional information about his recovery.

Although the near-fatal overdose left a profound impression on Jackson, she admitted that she continued using drugs afterward. “It’s also definitely a testament to the whole, like, it takes what it takes, [because] I still didn’t get sober for another year and a half after that,” she said.
Jackson has since adopted an all-or-nothing approach to protecting her sobriety because she believes using any intoxicating substance could send her back to heroin. “If I have a hit of weed or a drink, I’m gonna go back on heroin,” she stated.
She explained that she initially attempted to stop using harder drugs while continuing to consume marijuana and alcohol. However, she soon recognized that she could not control her use of those substances either.
“If I have a hit of weed or a drink, I’m going to go back on heroin. I realized I couldn’t stop after I’d gotten rid of like some of the harder stuff, and I realized even with weed and alcohol, I was like, I just couldn’t stop, and it was just getting worse,” Jackson said. “I had my breaking point, I had my bottom. It just kind of did it for me.”
The musician celebrated six years of sobriety earlier this year.

Jackson also discussed her romantic history and revealed that her engagement to former bandmate Justin Long was not the first time she had planned to marry. This is also my second engagement that I called off, the first one,” she told Cooper.
Jackson acknowledged that the circumstances surrounding the earlier proposal were complicated because both she and her former partner were using drugs.
“I don’t know if you could count the first one; it was real to me, even though we were strung out on drugs, and the ring was one that he bought with my money without me knowing; it was still like, the love was so real for me in that first one,” she shared. “So this was like, ‘ah, this is the second one.’”
Jackson did not identify the person involved in that first engagement. Her relationship with Long lasted approximately three years before they separated last year, months after he proposed at a theater.

Jackson admitted there were moments when she considered remaining with Long in hopes that their relationship would eventually improve. However, she said the people closest to her encouraged her to evaluate why she wanted to stay.
“I’m the person that needs to be sure,” Jackson explained. “Even though I have a therapist, like a clinical psychologist, a coach, I have, you know, I have got a whole council of people, friends that know a lot about relationships and all the things that I was going through in life at the time that are like, ‘honey,’ in asking me the right questions of like, ‘why would you stay?’ And my answers weren’t good enough.”
The singer eventually accepted that someone could possess positive qualities without being the right partner for her. “Just because I’ve realized just because someone is a good person doesn’t mean they’re my person,” she said. “And I have to be happy. I realized that my non-negotiables are allowed to be non-negotiables, and if these big major needs are not being met, it doesn’t matter that you’re a good person and you’re not going to cheat on me. That’s not a reason to stay.”

Jackson said the dating culture around her may have influenced her tendency to place too much value on basic loyalty within a relationship. “I live in a city where loyalty is not the biggest thing, so sometimes I maybe get it in my head that that’s how most people are,” she shared.
Her perspective began to change after looking at the healthy relationships maintained by men she knows personally. “I have some of the most incredible men in my life that love their wives, that love their kids, that are just such stand-up dudes that would never dream of f-cking that up,” Jackson said.
“So I know that that exists out there,” she continued. “I can examine the evidence and be like, okay, it does exist. This isn’t the one and only person that’s not going to do that to me.”
Spending time alone following the broken engagement has also helped Jackson reconsider what she is willing to accept from a future partner. “I can be a little bit pickier,” she concluded. “The bar can be raised a bit because it’s historically been very low.”

Aaron Sorkin is revisiting Facebook with his upcoming film, “The Social Reckoning,” 16 years after the Oscar-winning movie “The Social Network” explored the company’s origins. This time, Sorkin is taking a closer look at the social media giant’s impact. Ahead of the film’s release, the director has shared some candid thoughts about Facebook and its influence.

“The Social Reckoning,” the follow-up to 2010’s “The Social Network,” will be released in a couple of months, and writer and director Aaron Sorkin is sharing his thoughts about how Facebook has changed since its inception.
The first movie centered on the founding of Facebook and the lawsuits that followed, while the upcoming film shifts the focus to the platform’s evolution and the consequences of its influence on society.
Sorkin acknowledged Facebook’s growth in terms of its user base and noted how many people now rely on the platform for news.
“About a third of American adults get their news from Facebook. That is very dangerous. We’re no longer agreeing that the sky is blue and two plus two equals four,” Sorkin said in an Esquire interview.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Sorkin was asked about a previous comment he made, blaming the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol attack on the social media network. In a podcast interview in 2024, he blatantly said, “I blame Facebook for January 6,” adding that he would be writing about it.
Sorkin expanded on his previous statement, mentioning Facebook’s 2018 crisis involving Cambridge Analytica, in which millions of private user data were improperly collected. The filmmaker said the social network’s engagement went down following the incident, and they “returned the algorithm.”
“A comment was worth five times as much as a like; an emoji was worth fifteen times as much as a like. A reshare would be worth thirty times a like,” Sorkin explained, adding that the company “knew that the things that get reshared the most are rage bait.”
“They began pumping into the air supply all this stuff intended to make you mad. Certainly, you can draw a line from that to January 6,” he concluded.
Sorkin acknowledged Mark Zuckerberg’s brilliance of mind. However, he also noted Facebook has “gone completely out of control.”
Over the years, Facebook has faced multiple controversies. Beyond privacy leaks, the platform has been accused of spreading political misinformation, viral health hoaxes, and hate speech. Moreover, the leaked documents showed that executives knew Facebook harmed the mental health of teen users, yet chose business over safety.
Despite what Facebook has become, Sorkin believes what’s happening now was not part of Zuckerberg’s plan when he created and launched Facebook.
“I don’t think Mark Zuckerberg ever intended for it to have a corrosive effect. I think his intentions were good,” Sorkin said, adding that it just “got way out of hand.”

Sorkin, who won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for his writing on “The Social Network,” said Zuckerberg was not involved in both movies. While he did reach out before filming the first movie, he said the CEO did not cooperate, but they met with “a bunch of his lieutenants.” Despite Zuckerberg’s refusal, Sorkin said he was satisfied with the outcome, as he didn’t want to make a film that was a “Mark Zuckerberg-approved version” anyway.
In June, the filmmaker shared one of the challenges of writing the script for “The Social Reckoning” and mentioned how he approached writing Zuckerberg. In 2019, Sorkin slammed the CEO in an open letter in The New York Times.
Despite Sorkin’s feelings toward him, he said he put his judgments aside while writing “The Social Reckoning.”
“You’ve got to write that character like they’re making their case to God why they should be allowed into heaven,” Sorkin told Vanity Fair.
“The Social Reckoning” centers on the Facebook whistleblower leaks that came to light in 2021. Former Facebook employee Frances Haugen shared internal documents with Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, which contained evidence suggesting that the company prioritized profits over the safety and well-being of its users.
The movie features Mikey Madison (Frances Haugen), Jeremy Allen White (Jeff Horwitz), and Jeremy Strong (Mark Zuckerberg), alongside Bill Burr, Wunmi Mosaku, and Billy Magnussen.
“The Social Reckoning” is scheduled for release on October 9.

Perez Hilton has made a major decision involving his three children as his family continues navigating the aftermath of his hospitalization.
The 48-year-old celebrity blogger has voluntarily agreed to give his mother, Teresita Lavandeira, temporary legal custody of Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8.
The new court filing gives Lavandeira significant authority over the children’s care while Hilton remains hospitalized, but another request from his mother reveals just how determined the family is to shield the kids as he faces what his team has described as a long recovery.

Hilton’s mother filed for temporary custody of his three children in Miami on August 7, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
Importantly, the filing does not appear to represent a custody fight between Hilton and his mother. The blogger signed the documents and “voluntarily consented” to the arrangement.
In the filing, Hilton acknowledged that temporarily placing the children in Lavandeira’s legal custody was in their “best interest.”
The arrangement gives his mother the ability to make important decisions while Hilton concentrates on his recovery, including consenting to necessary medical and dental care and accessing the children’s medical, educational, and vital records.
She can also make educational decisions and handle other matters necessary for Mario, Mia, and Mayte’s care.
However, the arrangement is temporary. Hilton acknowledged in the documents that he can eventually petition the court to return legal custody to him, although he may first have to complete a “reasonable transition plan.”

Lavandeira is also asking the court to keep the family’s legal proceedings away from public scrutiny.
In a separate filing, she requested that the custody case be sealed because of the extraordinary attention surrounding her son’s hospitalization.
“The children in this case should not be subjected to any further trauma related to the incidents that are the basis for the Petition,” the filing states.
Lavandeira argued that sealing the records would give the family an opportunity to “privately heal and move forward” following what she described as a “very unfortunate incident.”
The request follows earlier efforts by Hilton’s relatives to shield his children from the situation.
Earlier, his family confirmed that the three children were safe and being cared for by immediate relatives while asking photographers and media outlets not to follow or photograph them.

The custody development comes as Hilton continues receiving treatment following the August 4 crisis at his Miami home.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said it received multiple calls about an individual livestreaming acts of self-harm. Authorities subsequently transported Hilton to a hospital for medical attention, while crisis-response professionals also provided support to his family.
His family later confirmed that he remained hospitalized under Florida’s Baker Act and described his condition as “serious but stable.”
As The Blast previously reported, Hilton’s team revealed that he suffered “significant blood loss” and additional injuries requiring surgery.
His relatives also cautioned that his “treatment and recovery will be a long process,” while communication with him remained extremely limited and primarily restricted to immediate family and those involved in his medical care.
Still, one of the most significant developments came when Hilton was able to communicate with his mother.
According to a longtime family friend, he told her, “I need help,” while recovering in the hospital, as The Blast reported.

The decision to temporarily entrust his children to Lavandeira also comes just months after Hilton made a major life change partly motivated by family.
Earlier this year, the blogger relocated from Las Vegas to his native Miami with his three children following an alarming medical ordeal.
In March, Hilton spent 21 days hospitalized after developing severe sepsis stemming from a perforated ulcer. His recovery was later complicated by a deep vein thrombosis in his leg.
The near-death experience appeared to change his priorities.
Hilton subsequently explained that being closer to extended family had become more important, prompting the move back to Florida. However, he acknowledged weeks before his latest hospitalization that the transition had been emotionally challenging, describing himself as “overwhelmed” and “in a bit of a spiral.”
The temporary custody decision is particularly significant given how prominently fatherhood has featured in Hilton’s public life.
Hilton became a father to Mario in 2013 and later welcomed daughters Mia and Mayte, building his family through surrogacy.
His mother has also been a visible presence throughout that journey. When Hilton announced Mayte’s arrival in 2017, he shared a hospital photograph featuring both his newborn daughter and Lavandeira.
Now, the woman who has been alongside him through major chapters of his family life is assuming a more formal role while he recovers.
For the moment, the court documents make the family’s priorities clear: Hilton is focusing on treatment, his mother is taking responsibility for the children, and relatives are seeking the privacy they believe Mario, Mia, and Mayte need while their father works toward recovery.
Kayla Reid and Ryan Lochte spent the last year speaking negatively about each other in the press after announcing their plans to divorce.
Kayla alleged that the 12x Olympic medalist cheated on her, while Ryan accused the former Playboy Playmate of tearing him down so much that it affected his mental health.
After finalizing their split, Ryan has moved on with a new lover, Molly, and Kayla is shedding more light on what she says were some of the darkest years of her life when they were together.
Reid and Lochte married in 2018 after dating for two years. Despite their years together in the spotlight and their image as a polished, well-mannered couple, Reid said their relationship was far from perfect behind closed doors.
Speaking with PEOPLE, Reid reflected on her marriage with Lochte and pointed back to a journal she kept while they were together. She recalled writing a specific note in that journal that read, “Our marriage is a ticking time bomb.”
After finalizing their divorce in July 2026, Reid told the outlet that she’s grateful to be in a better place. “I don’t think it was a love anyone deserved,” she said.

Lochte and Reid’s marriage struggles were spotlighted on social media over the last year, according to several reports from The Blast. During Reid’s chat with PEOPLE, she told the outlet that there were several things in her marriage with Lochte that she didn’t approve of, including his alleged drinking problems, drug use, and incessant cheating.
Reid stated that the chaos was so constant that she sometimes thought she was living in an “alternate universe” and could never tell whether her perception was reality. Reid explained that, at times, she thought she was living a “good” life. “But there were a lot of things that I didn’t know were happening. It’s a question that I actually have: What was real? What wasn’t?” she added.

In response to Reid’s latest statements, Lochte admitted to making “mistakes” in his marriage and said he previously spoke out about them to help him move forward. “Looking back, I wasn’t ready to be a husband or the man my family deserved at that point in my life,” he said.
While he admitted he’s “incredibly grateful” for his children, calling them the “greatest gift to come from that chapter of my life,” he vowed not to engage in the “back-and-forth” about his divorce with his ex-wife.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Reid slammed Lochte in the media over his alleged affair with his “mistress.” She also said that her relationship with Lochte following their divorce announcement left them in a bad place.
“I really pray that he becomes the father our kids deserve,” she said candidly, adding that she tries to avoid all communication with Lochte unless it’s absolutely necessary.
Reid’s statement came months after she posted on Instagram about her plans to divorce Lochte. In that post, the Florida-based real estate agent said that deciding to split was a “hard decision” she reached after much prayer and reflection. “I’ve been hesitant to share until I could do so from a place of healing; not from fresh, open wounds,” she said.
Weeks before finalizing his divorce from Reid, Lochte became engaged to his fiancée, Molly Gillihan. The special moment occurred on June 19, 2026, at a Florida eatery, according to The Blast.
Lochte said that “bigger and better things” were coming to his life following the engagement, including his and Gillihan’s big move to Missouri and his new coaching job as an assistant at a state university.
“We needed a bigger home to support our blended family, and we’re focused on creating a loving, stable environment for all of our children,” Lochte said about the move, adding that his new connection with Gillihan felt natural.
“Everything happens for a reason,” he shared. “And it was God’s way of saying enough is enough between both of you, between me and Kayla, of just being miserable and not happy and not living our best life. So we got separated and now I’m living my best life.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez celebrated their union with matching wedding bands.
After Ronaldo, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, showed off their new bling via Instagram on Tuesday, August 11, jewelry expert Laura Taylor, who specializes in engagement rings, opened up to Us about the bands.
“Both appear to have opted for classic polished yellow gold bands with no elaborate detailing, although it is possible that Georgina’s features a small diamond detail,” Taylor, who did not personally design the couple’s wedding bands, speculated. “They’re timeless designs that will never go out of fashion and are made to be worn comfortably every day.”

Taylor continued, “I’d estimate their wedding bands to be worth between $1,300 to $3,400 each, depending on the gold weight and whether they were custom-made.”
Taylor also gave some insight on why Rodríguez may have been wearing her engagement ring on her right hand as opposed to her left, alongside her massive engagement ring.
“It’s not unusual to see someone with an engagement ring this large wearing it on the opposite hand,” she said. “Very large engagement rings don’t always sit comfortably alongside a wedding band, so many brides choose to wear them separately depending on the occasion.”
Taylor explained that it made “perfect sense” because Rodríguez’s ring is estimated to be around 20 carats and worth $2 million. “With an engagement ring of that size, you don’t need the wedding band competing for attention,” she noted.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez debuted their rings in a sweet pic on Tuesday, which was exactly one year after announcing their engagement. In the photo, Ronaldo rested his hand on top of Rodríguez’s. She wore white, long sleeves and her huge diamond ring on her right hand.
Earlier that day, Us confirmed the couple tied the knot during a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, attended by their five children.
“C❤️G,” they captioned their joint post. Ronaldo and Rodríguez announced their engagement via Instagram in August 2025. At the time, she hovered her hand over his while relaxing in bed. “I do, in this and in every lifetime of mine,” the model captioned the post.
Prue Leith is opening up about a recent health scare that led to her hospitalization out of fear she was having a stroke.
Leith, 86, recalled experiencing a “migraine attack” during a trip to Yorkshire, England. She detailed the medical scare in a column called “Prue’s News” in The Oldie’s September issue, out Friday, August 14, published in part by The Sun.
The former Great British Baking Show judge noted that while she was confident about having a migraine attack — after years of dealing with the issue — her husband, John Playfair, called an ambulance when her speech turned into an “incomprehensible jumble of disconnected words.”
“It followed a familiar path. First, I can see only half of whatever I’m looking at,” Leith wrote. “This is speedily followed by a bright circle of flickering, coloured lights in the upper right field of vision.”
She noted that usually if she doesn’t “swiftly swallow one of my migraine ‘bombs,’ (paracetamol, ibuprofen and sumatriptan) a crashing headache will follow.”
Leith explained that her husband, however, was convinced she was “having a stroke” when she started to speak in “disconnected words.”
“I tried to tell him it was just a migraine, but I couldn’t string two words together,” she recalled, noting that’s when Playfair called their doctor.

Leith remembered telling the doctor that she could raise her arms and make a fist, insisting nothing hurt and her face wasn’t drooping. The doctor, however, still called an ambulance to take her to the hospital.
“The ambulance man asked me the same questions, as did a nurse on arrival at A&E, and so, after a six-hour wait, did the doctor,” she wrote.
The celebrity chef said she assured the doctor at the hospital that it was a migraine after recovering “coherent speech” by the time they met.
The doctor decided to do a CT scan as an extra precaution.
“Two hours later, I had one, waited another hour for the results, and was released at 2 a.m.,” Leith shared. “[The doctor later] explained why he wanted to refer me for a brain scan, just to be sure (people of my age, 86, are prone to mini-strokes).”
Leith, who revealed she had her first migraine at 9 years old, said, “I knew all along that all I had was a migraine.”
She explained, “But since the speech problem is a classic symptom of a stroke, and my extreme old age being a time when mini-strokes are common, everyone was determined to be safe not sorry.”
Leigh added that she wasn’t upset over her long stay at the hospital, thanking the National Health Service (NHS) personnel for being “cheerful, sympathetic, polite, helpful and professional.”
“You may have to wait forever, but when it is your turn, you are treated as if you were the only patient in A&E,” she concluded.
Perez Hilton’s hospitalization has turned into a far more serious situation than a short medical stay.
The celebrity blogger is facing the possibility of an extended period of psychiatric care after being hospitalized following a disturbing livestream incident.
While doctors address his physical injuries, the bigger question now concerns what happens after he is medically discharged. Those close to Hilton fear his recovery could stretch far beyond the immediate aftermath.

Perez Hilton’s hospitalization appears to have opened the door to a much longer recovery process than initially expected.
The 48-year-old was hospitalized under Florida’s Baker Act following a livestream incident that left him needing treatment for “significant” blood loss and other injuries.
While his immediate medical needs remain a priority, people close to Hilton say the aftermath could be considerably more complicated.
A friend told the Daily Mail that Hilton understands “something happened” but is currently struggling to fully process it.
“But he doesn’t have a lot of presence of mind. He’s not able to fully process what happened,” the friend said.
The same source warned against expecting a quick turnaround, saying, “This is not going to be something where in five days, I’m like, ‘he’s fine,’ This is months, maybe years.”

What happens once Perez Hilton is medically stable could depend largely on the psychiatric assessment that follows.
Under Florida’s Baker Act process, a person can initially be held for evaluation, with a 72-hour assessment period determining what happens next.
Veteran Florida attorney Mark Astor told the Daily Mail that Hilton would not necessarily simply walk out once that period ends.
“You don’t just get to walk out of there after 72 hours,” Astor shared, adding, “Whether it’s a mental health issue, drugs, or all of the above, they need to get to the bottom of what has happened here. Period.”
Astor outlined several possible outcomes, including the media personality being released, agreeing to remain voluntarily for treatment, or facing a petition for involuntary placement.
If the latter happens, a judge would become involved, with a hearing generally required within five days. Such proceedings are confidential.

Hilton’s loved ones may also become increasingly important as decisions about his longer-term treatment take shape.
His mother, Teresita Lavandeira, has reportedly remained by his side at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, while his sister Barbara Giarraffa could also become involved in discussions surrounding his care.
One possibility would be for Hilton’s family to seek placement in a private treatment facility rather than leaving his care entirely within the state system.
According to Astor, such treatment could cost between $15,000 and $30,000 per month, depending on the facility and level of care.
His relatives could also potentially pursue guardianship, which would allow them to assume greater responsibility for healthcare decisions.
Astor said cooperation from Hilton could make a transition from state involvement to private treatment easier.
“If he’s willing to get help, great. It’s possible they come to an agreement with the state for what’s known as a bed-to-bed transfer,” he explained.

With Perez Hilton’s recovery expected to take considerable time, attention has also turned to the three children caught in the aftermath of his health crisis.
As The Blast stated, Hilton’s mother filed for temporary custody of his children in Miami family court on August 7, seeking to provide them with stability following the disturbing livestream incident.
The children, Mario, Mia, and Mayte, aged 13,11, and 9, respectively, had reportedly been living with their grandmother in Miami after recently relocating to be closer to family.
According to reports, Hilton’s children, along with his sister and niece, were at his home shortly before the livestream began but left once they realized he was experiencing a severe mental health crisis.
Lavandeira’s attorney said the custody request was intended to protect the children and give them stability during the situation.
Hilton has reportedly consented to the arrangement, acknowledging that it is in the best interests of his children. The filing also seeks protections from further media attention, with Lavandeira asking that the case be sealed.
As Hilton’s family begins making decisions about his care and his children’s future, the fallout from his livestream incident has also prompted an unexpected response from Jared Padalecki.
The “Supernatural” star initially shared a message of support for Hilton during his mental health crisis, but quickly faced criticism from people who pointed to the blogger’s controversial history of targeting celebrities.
Padalecki subsequently deleted his original message and offered an explanation, saying he had not known the full extent of the blogger’s past behavior.
“I simply thought he was a ‘tabloid’ type of sensationalist journalist,” Padalecki said in a tweet, acknowledging that his initial reaction was based on the belief that someone experiencing a serious crisis deserved compassion.
He stressed that his intention was not to excuse Hilton’s past actions and apologized to anyone who felt hurt by his words.
Padalecki, who has been open about his own mental health struggles, also urged people to look after themselves and one another.
Trippie Redd is airing out his alleged coparenting issues with his former girlfriend, Coi Leray. The ex-couple share a 1-year-old daughter named Miyoco, who has made several public appearances with her mom. In addition to seemingly calling the ‘No More Parties’ rapper a “female dog,” Redd clapped back at social media users who are telling him to take his grievances off the internet and to the courthouse.
On Tuesday (August 11), Trippie Redd took to X, formerly Twitter, with an offensive comment about not seeing his daughter. He didn’t name Coi Leray in the post, but given the context, X users connected the dots to her.
“Tell that b*tch to tell y’all she won’t let me see my baby 😉 #NDA,” he wrote. The hashtag appears to reference his upcoming album of the same name, which is expected to drop on August 14.
Meanwhile, it appears Coi Leray hasn’t paid Trippie’s tweet any public attention. Following his initial post, she took to Instagram Stories to repost comments about her latest music snippet, in which also appeared to reference an ex. She did not name said ex.
“Turned my nothing into something, look now everybody love it,” Coi raps in the snippet. How the f**k I do that? Came up straight up out the trenches, manifested all my wishes. Multi-million dollar business, how the f**k I do that? Remember them days when n****s hated, now I’m up they faces changing… Looking back at my ex like damn, how the f**k you do that? Looking back at them texts like damn, why the f**k you do that?”
On Wednesday (August 12), Trippie Redd circled back to X with more to say about his alleged coparenting issues. He appeared to be clapping back at folks telling him to get offline and go to the courthouse. In the post, he again teased his upcoming album.
“So it’s I don’t wanna see my kid…then when I say I’m kept from seeing my kid it’s y u telling us 🤣 leave me tf alone and yes I’ve been going to court 🥷s #NDA,” Redd wrote.

Meanwhile, it appears that Coi is continuing to stay silent regarding Trippie’s tweets. On Wednesday she shared a photo dump that included at least two photos of Miyoco. Also, on her IG Stories, she shared photos and videos from an abroad trip to Turkey and Istanbul.
Last September, during a sit-down interview with Justin Laboy, Coi Leray shared her regrets about exposing Trippie Redd’s infidelity. She claimed the exposure created more problems with Redd. However, at the time she did it, Leray said she was pregnant, “vulnerable and f**ked up.”
As previously reported, Coi Leray blasted Trippie in Janaury 2025, while being around five months pregnant with Miyoco. She shared a post that said there was “nothing worse than being cheated on,” and added that she wouldn’t wish the feeling on her worst enemy. Leray also dropped a song addressing the situation.
In the interview with Justin Laboy, Coi also said that it was “a hard time to get through.” She also shared that they were new parents trying to figure it out while strictly co-parenting and only communicating about Miyoco.
“We’re not friends. Absolutely not! We just co-parent. If it ain’t about the child, we don’t give a f*** about each other.”
Weeks later, Coi Leray and Justin Laboy had developed a romantic connection that led to a Bahamas date in December. Amid their viral date, Trippie Redd posted an edited photo of Miyoco with face tattoos resembling his. He captioned the post, “#MYTWINNOMATTERWHAT.”
