Taylor Frankie Paul Shares Inspirational Quotes After Court Appearance

Taylor Frankie Paul is focused on moving forward after she and ex Dakota Mortensen were granted mutual protective orders for three years following domestic violence accusations against each other.

“Keep going even when losing [clap emoji] Every component of this was beautiful,” Paul, 31, captioned a video via Instagram Stories on Monday, May 4, showing a jockey overcome with emotion after their racehorse won.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star shared more words of affirmation in a follow-up post, which featured a drawing from a self-taught artist alongside a bible verse. “Isaiah 41:10 ‘So do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,’” the quote read.

“I’ll be framing this. So talented. Thank you,” Paul added. “I wanted to cry earlier when I saw this on TikTok 🙏🏼 thank you,” Paul also replied in the comments section.

Paul took to social media days after protective orders were approved for her and Mortensen, 33, during a court hearing on April 30 to determine custody arrangements for the exes’ 2-year-old son, Ever. (The orders were filed after TMZ released a video from a heated 2023 dispute that showed Paul throwing a chair at Mortensen during a heated dispute. ABC later pulled her season of The Bachelorette ahead of its premiere.)

Looking ahead, the court is now “requiring that Taylor’s ex-partner stay far away from her,” a change that Paul’s attorney, Eric M. Swinyard, described as “a significant step forward” in a statement to Us Weekly.

Swinyard noted that “Taylor was incredibly candid with the court that she is not perfect and owned her faults, which is in direct contrast to how the other party presented their argument, despite evidence and input from law enforcement that showed otherwise.”

Paul’s attorney continued, “Taylor feels solidarity with the many survivors who have endured similar hardships behind closed doors and shared only part of their stories.”

During the hearing, the commissioner described the former couple’s relationship as “dysfunctional” and told them they have to “figure out a lot here,” including “how to function as coparents” in order to “shield the child from this conflict.”

This development came after Mortensen was granted temporary custody of Ever in March. There were no changes made to the custody arrangement on April 30, which means Paul will continue to be permitted up to eight hours of supervised visitation with their son.

Heidi Klum Shows BTS Transformation for Met Gala 2026 Look

Heidi Klum went all out for her 2026 Met Gala look.

Klum, 52, rocked prosthetics to transform into a living statue in honor of fashion’s biggest night, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 4. Following the gala, Klum took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 5, to show exactly how she got into her custom Mike Marino ensemble. In the clip, Klum arrived at a studio as her FX squad began the lengthy process on her look, representing the 1847 sculpture, the Veiled Vestal by Raffaele Monti.

“This year’s Met Gala theme is ‘Costume Art,’” Klum explained in the video. “And here is my take on it.” The camera then showed makeup artists gluing prosthetics onto her face, as well as a hidden zipper in the back of her costume.

Klum then showed herself in a bald cap while getting her hands painted. “I have to get my nails done. Chop, chop, chop. Normally, I don’t have nails that short,” she laughed.

Heidi Klum is once again proving that she’s the costume queen. Klum, 52, looked unrecognizable in a head-to-toe veiled lady costume by Mike Marino at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday, May 4. The America’s Got Talent judge sported stone-colored special effects makeup on her face, body and hands, which made it appear as though […]

Marino explained that in order to create the look, they first 3-D scanned Klum’s “entire body.”

“Based on that scan, we sculpt the design with all the folds and fabric and we got through a very lengthy technical process,” he said, noting it was still nearly the same as how classical artists created their work. “[We’re just] using more advanced materials.”

Marino then hilariously fed Klum a burger as she continued to get painted. She then covered her body in a plastic wrap to help the mold slide on her body more easily. “I already look gorgeous,” she gushed once she was in the costume. “Look at this! Holy smokes.”

Her prosthetic face was then glued onto her skin with some final makeup touches to fill in the gaps.

“Not only are we doing one of the hardest designs ever created, our work has to move. It has to be flawless,” Marino continued. Klum concluded the video by showing herself getting out of her sprinter van and posing on the red carpet.

“It all starts with a vision,” Klum captioned the post. “The theme of this year’s Met Gala was ‘Fashion is Art’ and here is my take on it…a piece of fine art, reimagined in motion. There is nothing I love more than creative collaboration with true artists who worked tirelessly to turn this idea of transforming fabric into sculpture into what the world saw on the steps of the Met. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🤍.”

Ryan Reynolds Reportedly Pushed Blake Lively Toward Settlement

New reports suggest Ryan Reynolds played a key role in encouraging Blake Lively to settle her long-running legal dispute with her former co-star, Justin Baldoni.

Insiders claim the Hollywood star felt the case was starting to affect his wife’s career, reputation, and personal life.

Shortly after Blake Lively settled her legal issues, she surprised fans by appearing at the Met Gala, a move many didn’t see coming due to the controversial case.

According to a report, Reynolds believed the dispute was beginning to affect multiple areas of Lively’s life, including her public image, career, and personal relationships.

One insider told journalist Rob Shuter’s Substack that the actor “knew the longer this dragged on, the more it would erode everything.”

Another source said the “Gossip Girl” alum had become deeply emotionally invested in the lawsuit and was determined to defend her position throughout the process.

“It wasn’t about winning anymore — it was about proving she was right,” the source noted. “She couldn’t see how much it was costing her in real time.”

However, insiders alleged that the ongoing attention surrounding the case eventually began taking a visible toll both professionally and personally.

A third source claimed the situation became a turning point for Lively, who reportedly decided “the one thing she refused to lose was her marriage.”

The legal dispute officially came to a close on May 4, when Lively and Justin Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, reached a settlement shortly before the case was expected to head to trial.

In a joint statement released by lawyers for both sides, the parties said they remained proud of the film “It Ends With Us,” and its message about supporting survivors of domestic violence.

The statement also acknowledged that concerns raised during the process deserved to be heard and expressed hope that everyone involved could now move forward peacefully.

They added: “It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”

The legal battle began in December 2024 when Lively sued Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, accusing them of sexual harassment, defamation, and other claims.

Baldoni denied the allegations and later filed a countersuit for defamation against the actress and her husband, Reynolds.

Over time, several claims in the case were dismissed by Judge Lewis J. Liman, including Baldoni’s countersuit and many of Lively’s original allegations, particularly sexual harassment.

By the time a trial date approached, only a small number of claims against Wayfarer Studios remained active, while Baldoni himself was no longer listed as a defendant in the remaining counts.

Just hours after the news of the settlement broke, Lively appeared at the 2026 Met Gala in New York. She wore an archival Atelier Versace gown from 2006, paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, embracing the event’s “Costume Art” theme.

A standout detail from her look was a custom Judith Leiber clutch featuring artwork made by her four children: James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. Each child’s drawing was included on different sides of the bag.

Speaking on the red carpet, Lively said she wanted something meaningful rather than a traditional art reference.

According to People Magazine, she explained that her children each painted watercolors, and she chose to carry them with her for the night, joking that she “likes to have the kids with me” even when they’re not physically there.

Leiber’s creative team later said the collaboration was a natural fit, noting Lively’s “love of sparkle and touch of whimsy make her a dream client.”

They added that the custom piece was built specifically to showcase each child’s artwork individually in a four-sided design.

Meanwhile, Reynolds recently spoke about how his family has been handling the public attention surrounding Lively’s legal dispute with Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios.

In an interview for Today’s “Sunday Sitdown,” the actor shared that the situation has shown him how different “digital life” can be from what is actually happening behind the scenes.

He also took the opportunity to emphasize his love for his wife, stressing that he has never been more “proud” of a person.

“Really, without getting into too much, I have never in my life been more proud of my wife,” Reynolds noted.

He continued, “People have no idea what is really going on. I’ve never been more proud of someone in my life, with that level of integrity that they bring with them in everything they do.”

‘The Batman’ Director’s 10/10 Sci-Fi Prequel Is Officially Free to Stream

Published

on

The advent of technology in filmmaking has been a blessing for audiences and filmmakers. In the last two decades, new innovations have helped genres like sci-fi and fantasy shine brighter. Long-running franchises like Star Wars have come a long way from using practical effects in 1977 to pioneering CGI, and the Volume tech for its shows, giving us a seamless glimpse of galaxy far far away, or think of superhero movies from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man using practical effects to Tom Holland’s ultra refined suits, or the groundbreaking visual of black hole in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar which was later validated by scientific community.

With good tech, movies have taken us to planets and shown us creatures we can only dream of once, like the sandworm in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune franchise. Among the films that have made the best use of technology is the Planet of the Apes franchise. First started in 1968 heavily dependent on practical effects, and did innovative makeup work. Then came Tim Burton’s take in 2001’s Planet of the Apes, which used more advanced prosthetics but also put a full stop on full-scale practical ape suits in the franchise.

Then came the performance capture revolution, the Andy Serkis era, with The Batman director Matt Reeves on board to shoot performance capture in the real environment. The reboot trilogy shifted the paradigm, and the latest release, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, pushed the envelope further by adding photorealism. Fans who’d love to revisit the reboot movies are in luck, as the first two movies are streaming free.

How ambitious are you, honestly?
Ambition is neither virtue nor vice — it depends entirely on what you want.

Middle-earth Has Spoken
You Belong To…

The race that claimed the most of your answers is your true kin. If two tied, both are shown — you walk between worlds.

◆ A TIE — YOU WALK BETWEEN TWO RACES ◆

🌿

Your Race

The Hobbits

You are, at your core, a creature of comfort, community, and quiet joy — and there is nothing small about that. Hobbits are proof that heroism does not require ambition, that the bravest heart can beat inside the most unassuming chest. You value good food, warm hearths, close friends, and a world that stays largely untroubled by dark lords and quests. When adventure does find you — and it will — you rise to it not because you sought it, but because the people you love needed you to. That is not ordinary. That is the rarest kind of courage in all of Middle-earth.

🌟

Your Race

The Elves

Ancient, graceful, and carrying a weight of memory most mortals cannot fathom, you are one of the Elves. You see the world in its fullness — its beauty, its impermanence, the unbearable ache of watching everything you love eventually fade. You pursue perfection not from pride, but because excellence is how you honour the time you have been given. Others may see you as remote or melancholy. They are not wrong, exactly. But they mistake depth for distance. You feel everything — which is precisely why you have learned to carry it so quietly.

⚒️

Your Race

The Dwarves

Stubborn, proud, fiercely loyal, and possessed of a work ethic that would exhaust most other races before breakfast — you are Dwarf-kind through and through. You do not ask for approval and you do not offer it cheaply. Your loyalty, once given, is given for life. Your grudges last longer. You love deeply and defend ferociously, and the things you build — with your hands, with your sweat, with generations of accumulated craft — are made to last. Not for glory. Because anything worth doing is worth doing properly, and you have never once done anything by half measures.

⚔️
Advertisement

Your Race

The Race of Men

Mortal, ambitious, flawed, and magnificent — you belong to the most complicated race in Middle-earth, and that complexity is your greatest strength. Men are capable of cowardice and extraordinary bravery, of cruelty and breathtaking sacrifice, sometimes within the same breath. You feel the urgency of your finite years, and it drives you. You want to matter. You want to leave something behind. You fall, and you rise, and the rising is what defines you. Tolkien called mortality the Gift of Men — not a curse, but a fire that burns bright precisely because it does not burn forever. That fire is you.

💀

Your Race

The Orcs

Brutal, survivalist, and contemptuous of anything that can’t defend itself — you answered with the instincts of an Orc, and there is a certain savage honesty in that. You do not dress up your desires in polite language or pretend you want things you don’t. You want power, survival, and to never be at the bottom of any hierarchy ever again. Orcs are not evil by nature — they were made from something that was once good, and broken into this shape by forces they did not choose. What remains is fierce, territorial, and deeply aware that the world is not kind. You’ve made your peace with that. The question is what you do with it.

Netflix’s 10/10 Crime Series Officially Takes Down the Streamer’s New ‘Reacher’ Replacement

Published

man-on-fire-poster.jpg

Despite the release of the big-budget Netflix series Man on Fire, a holdover hit with far less cultural cachet is continuing to dominate the streamer’s viewership charts. Man on Fire, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, is an action-packed update of the cult classic starring Denzel Washington, released over two decades ago. The seven-episode series is positioned as a way to attract viewers who enjoy shows such as Reacher and The Terminal List on Prime Video. Man on Fire has undoubtedly been successful so far, claiming the number one spot on the Netflix viewership charts worldwide. Domestically, however, it’s another story.

Released a week before the modestly well-reviewed Man on Fire, a three-part true-crime series set in Scotland continues to dominate the domestic chart. The series tells the story of a young pathologist from Glasgow, whose fiancé tells her in a moment of drunken honesty that he was involved in a hit-and-run incident some years prior. He panicked, and instead of calling for assistance, he and his twin brother buried the victim’s body on their sprawling ranch in the Scottish Highlands. The person’s disappearance was never solved. Over three episodes, the pathologist recalls the moral dilemma she faced after the revelation, the alleged inaction of the police in providing her with assistance, and her subsequent mental spiral.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

It Has Been a Great Year for True-Crime on Netflix

We’re talking about the blockbuster new series Should I Marry a Murderer? It comes on the heels of similarly successful Netflix true-crime titles this year, such as The Investigation of Lucy Letby, Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart, Trust Me: The False Prophet, The TikTok Killer, The Predator of Seville, A Friend, a Murderer, and more. According to FlixPatrol, Should I Marry a Murderer? is still the number one show on Netflix in the United States, outperforming not only Man on Fire, but also the new seasons of Running Point and Beef, as well as the holdover title Unchosen. It doesn’t have an official Rotten Tomatoes score yet, but every review currently listed is positive. Sci-Fi’s Most Terrifying Moon Mission Movie Was Unfairly Overlooked

Published

Sci-Fi's Most Terrifying Moon Mission Movie Was Unfairly Overlooked

By Will LeBlanc
| Published

Apollo 18 slipped into theaters in 2011 with a marketing hook built around “lost NASA footage,” leaning hard on viral ambiguity rather than star power. Unfortunately, a movie like Apollo 18 has a huge hurdle to overcome before it even gets started. It must defeat the “it’s just another found footage horror movie” naysayers and become its own unique film. Apollo 18 doesn’t exactly do that, but it does manage to get a few good scares out of the audience and send everyone home feeling like they should probably sleep with the lights on.

After the Apollo 17 mission, Apollos 18, 19, and 20 were canceled due to budgetary concerns at NASA, or so the public was meant to think. Apollo 18 intimates that only 19 and 20 were completely shut down, and that 18 was carried out under heavy classification by the Department of Defense.

In Apollo 18, three astronauts were sent into space to place equipment on the moon that would help the United States spy on the Soviet Union. At least, that’s what they thought. The DoD had other plans, though, as the crew unwittingly investigated an extra-terrestrial presence on the moon, which obviously started stirring up some trouble.

Apollo 18 makes every effort to make sure that you are paying attention to Tom Hanks in Apollo 13 when he explains every aspect of his mission to his son. Terms like “orbiter” and “LEM” are in heavy rotation between the astronauts with a dash of some technical jargon that will at least register in your brain if you’ve seen other space flight films rather than simply pinging off your atmosphere.

Of course, a film that takes place between three astronauts in a six-foot by six-foot space won’t make for the wordiest piece, but the few scientific words they do use make perfect sense even to the layman.

Realistically, this kind of Apollo 18 storytelling wouldn’t work in any other format than “found footage”. There’s virtually no character development; there are no side characters to act as exposition sponges to be talked at, just to get story elements across to the audience, and the astronauts are all pretty interchangeable.

It makes sense that the characters would all be very similar; they all went through the same training program, after all. As for exposition, why would these astronauts stop and explain what’s going on aloud to each other when they both already know what’s going on?

It could have been very distracting if Apollo 18 director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego had decided to stick huge swaths of dialogue into the film, having the characters dig deep into anything other than their current situation on the moon, and omitting it helped keep the story concise. But that doesn’t mean the movie was perfect.

Apollo 18’s first mistake was telling the audience that the entire film was edited from 80 hours of footage that mysteriously appeared on lunartruth.com. If that were true, then this film was edited together by the saddest jerk who ever bought Final Cut Pro.

Apollo 18 is, without a doubt, meant to be a horror film and in no way resembles anything other than a horror film. If this footage actually existed in this public database, the first film assembled would undoubtedly be 100% more educational. Sure, the content would be frightening, but the main goal would be to get this information across to viewers, not make them piss their pants in fear.

The Apollo 18 editing itself a lot of the time was barely editing at all, and a lot of times we actually see the ends of reels of the 16mm film the crew was supposedly filming with, an easy fix for anyone who knows how to operate an editing suite. Which leads to the film’s biggest shortcoming.

Apollo 18 is tiresome just to look at. It’s shot with about three stationary cameras and two handhelds that the astronauts frequently carry, and none of them seem to be shooting in the same format. The clarity is constantly shifting, the colors bend, and watching static roll across the screen like on a poorly tracked VCR gets really old, really fast. I recognize that they wouldn’t be shooting in HD, but a lot of the artificially added aging Apollo 18’s editors did to the footage is more distracting than it needed to be to uphold the authenticity of the story.

Fortunately, the film does enough right that even though you’re so tired of the footage itself, the story has immersed you enough to ignore it and just hang on for the ride. 90% of the film’s “scariness”, for lack of a better term, comes from the relentless atmospheric noise the sound team created.

There’s a constant undulating hum that builds a sense of unease on its own, regardless of the fact that there are also aliens on the moon. That, coupled with the LEM’s irregular beeps and boops, will unsettle even the most veteran horror fans.

Apollo 18’s greatest success is its capitalizing on one of mankind’s greatest fears: the ultimate isolation. This doesn’t take place in a house where, if you need help, you can call a priest, or in the woods, where, if you were to run far enough in one direction, you’d eventually find the end.

Apollo 18 takes place on the moon in one of the most claustrophobic places ever filmed. Even more so than the Apollo 13 living quarters. If there’s anything malevolent inside these astronauts’ living space, and there frequently is, they take minutes to suit up if they want to go outside away from the threat, and if they even get out the door, they’re on the freakin’ moon.

They don’t have neighbors, they don’t have help, they just have nothingness. Literally. Just the vacuum of space. That is terrifying. Having one thing actively trying to kill you is scary enough, but when there are a dozen ways for you to accidentally die on your own, you can’t help but be terrified.

apollo 18

Apollo 18 makes its mistakes, but ultimately, the film is enjoyable if you’re looking for a good scare. It’s a little slow and arduous at times, and it certainly lacks depth in its story and explanations, but the mystery is part of what the director is trying to create, and it helps support the film’s authenticity. Apollo 18 isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely worth your time if you go into it looking for horror.

Prince William’s Reaction Ahead Of Harry’s Infamous Interview

Published

Prince William was not looking forward to the great expose from his estranged brother and his wife.

The Prince of Wales was reportedly not excited to hear the content of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s interview with Oprah Winfrey, based on the couple’s history of being very open with the family’s best-kept secret.

Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship broke down after the latter and his wife left their role in the Royal family in 2020 on the basis of media bullying and racism within the royal family.

In Kate Middleton’s latest biography, “Kate! The Courage, Grace and Power of the Woman Who Will Be Queen,” author Christopher Andersen had things to say about her husband being “literally sick with worry” in the build-up to Harry and Meghan’s explosive sit-down with Oprah Winfrey. According to Andersen, Middleton admitted that she could hear her husband throwing up in the bathroom for a full week before the interview aired.

The father of three was even “too distracted to think of food” because he was unsure of what his brother and sister-in-law could tell the press. Meghan and Harry did eventually say a lot in the interview, including Middleton’s heated argument with Meghan over a dress for Princess Charlotte for the wedding.

Harry equally confirmed that he was not on good terms with his brother, as there was a lot of hurt between the two of them. As shared by Page Six, Harry and Meghan also revealed that some unnamed members of the royal family raised concerns with Harry over the skin color of their unborn child and its consequences for the monarchy.

In May, The Blast reported that sources from the palace shared that while rumors of reconciliation between the estranged members of the royal family are on a high, important requests are being made by Prince William.

According to the source, the Prince of Wales has now asked that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex find a way to stop monetizing their royal status, especially since they have not been putting in the work for years now.

The recent trip to Australia by Harry and Meghan also set some alarms off because the optics really felt like they were trying to financially benefit from the several commercial engagements that surfaced during the trip.

Harry and Megan participated in ticketed events and appeared on “MasterChef Australia” alongside paid appearances at a women’s retreat with ticket prices running into thousands.

The father-of-three has reportedly iced out his brother for years now, which has been the stumbling block on the path to reconciliation between them. According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, the Prince of Wales sees his baby brother as the least trustworthy person around.

William himself allegedly has zero tolerance for perceived betrayals, and his memory often serves him right when it comes to recollecting and keeping streaks. In the words of British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard:

“Prince William is known to take a harder line than some. He’s setting his agenda for the future of the monarchy. There’s a difference between being ruthless and holding people accountable. He’s fearless and has a strong moral character.”

William reportedly knows that loyalty cuts both ways because betrayal has a very long shelf life, and all he wants is for Harry to hold himself accountable for future purposes.

The Blast shared that shortly after Meghan and Harry left their royal duties behind and started a new life in the United States, he leveled hefty allegations against the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Prince and Princess of Wales allegedly never expected Prince Harry to end up with someone like Meghan, despite being huge fans of her show “Suits.” Harry continued that the famous status of Meghan, including her successful career, threatened his family, as there was a lot of stereotyping that was happening, and he was also guilty of it at the beginning of their relationship.

Harry continued that Markle’s background as an American actress, a divorcée, and a biracial woman may have influenced how some members of his family view her. He concluded that the stereotype definitely served as a barrier to them introducing or welcoming her into the family as one of them.

Following the impressive visit of Harry and Meghan to Australia, William and Kate are also quietly planning their official royal trip, branded as the revenge tour. The royal couple is reportedly very aware that they need to give Australia a well-deserved royal visit, and it is their job to make it happen.

The planned tour will reportedly mark William and Kate’s first official visit to the country in over a decade, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, will be along for the ride.

In 2025, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese extended an invitation to the future king when he paid a visit to the United Kingdom. He had assured the Royal Family that they would always be welcome in Australia, should they decide to plan a future tour.

The Young and the Restless: Victoria Loses It All in Shocking Downfall!

Published

on

Young and the Restless: Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)

Young and the Restless shows Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) so focused on getting the family business back that she is acting just like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and isn’t thinking about all the people she’s hurting in the process. Victoria is so busy trying to impress Victor and get Daddy’s approval that she hasn’t seen that this could cost her literally everything.

Victoria Acting Just Like Victor on Young and the Restless

So, you guys probably remember when Victoria was CEO of Newman and she was being totally ruthless. She pushed Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) out. She kind of pushed Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) aside and others in the family to make room for her boy toy at the time, Nate Hastings. (Sean Dominic). She was doing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) dirty and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) dirty and just and even Victor. And now Victoria is back to basically the same old awful antics.

Victoria knows that Victor was the first one to attack with the AI. He took down Cane Ashby‘s (Billy Flynn) company and then he took down Matt Clark‘s (Roger Howarth). Although, to be clear, nobody cares about Matt. But now, Victoria is using a double standard when karma bit Victor and the AI was flipped around and used on them when he started it.

It’s understandable that Victoria wants their family business back, but the way she’s helping Victor get it back is so sketchy. He wants to make Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Cane, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) pay as much as possible for crossing him. And Victoria is in agreement.

Victoria Keeps Victim Shaming Jack on Y&R

And Victor literally just said he does not care who gets hurt. And Victoria has already been grilled repeatedly over condoning Victor kidnapping Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and tossing him on a yacht with crazy Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). But Victoria is victim shaming because let’s be clear, Jack was drugged and raped.

And that is the least terrible of her recent bad behavior. And with her blindly doing Victor’s bidding, she hasn’t stopped to think what it might cost her. I think Victoria could lose everything that’s important to her by playing these revenge games. And she may find herself regretting her actions because she can’t see Victor for who he is, the villain in all of this largely.

Victoria Could Lose Nate on Young and the Restless

So, the first thing that Victoria might lose from her life is her blossoming relationship with Nate. He and Victoria rebuilt their friendship after his brother Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) died and also after Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) passed away and eventually her and Nate’s old feelings started heating up. And they’re on the brink of being back in a full-blown romantic relationship.

But Victoria’s already been showing red flags. Nate is not in favor of all this vengeful stuff because of Victor and Victoria. We’ve already seen Phyllis arrested this week, which that’s fine, whatever. But when Cane is arrested later this week, he may not be able to leave town to go donate bone marrow to Lily’s bio dad, who could very well die without a donor.

Nate Confronts Victoria on Y&R

Lily and Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) are Nate’s family. And he’s going to be horrified and disgusted when he finds out that Victoria’s actions could cost Malcolm his life. So, Nate rushes over to the GCAC to comfort Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) this week after Cane is arrested. And I’m sure that Lily is going to tell Nate that Victor has trumped up evidence to target Cane.

And I think Nate will turn around and grill Victoria, who is going to do her lie and deny like she did with Billy this week. But once Nate reveals that Victor and Victoria are going to get Malcolm killed, that should be a game changer for her. Plus, the evidence is all faked. It’s not like Victoria handed over actual real proof to Christine Williams Romalotti (Lauralee Bell).

Claire May Confront Victoria on Young and the Restless

I also think Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) might have some things to say to her mom, Victoria. I’m sure Holden Novak‘s (Nathan Owens) going to tell Claire that thanks to her granddad and her mom, Cane was arrested, so now he can’t make it to New York to donate to Malcolm.

And Young and the Restless spoilers have Claire making a bold move to support Holden this week. So, I’m wondering if Claire confronts her mom and her granddad and demands they drop the charges on Cane so he can go donate to Malcolm as planned. But I don’t think Victor’s going to listen to anything Claire or anybody else has to say. But Victoria might listen.

Claire may give her mom a soft ultimatum, you know. And tell Victoria that she’s done enabling Victor’s bad behavior. I think we are just about at the point where Claire can no longer turn a blind eye. Claire already threatened to walk away from Victor before and she may tell Victoria she’s done.

The Young and the Restless: Nikki Disgusted with Victoria

And there’s also her mom Nikki to consider. She will likely tell Victoria she has picked the wrong side. Nikki already tried to talk sense to Victoria and I think that Nikki might be disgusted that Victoria is helping fake evidence and is blindly excusing and enabling Victor, which is honestly what Nikki’s done for years, but she seems to be finally done with that.

She may worry also that Victoria could face legal consequences for giving the DA fraudulent information that is against the law. So, I doubt Nikki’s going to care much about Phyllis being arrested. But Cane’s arrest risks Malcolm’s life and Billy’s arrest is problematic because he’s the father of Victoria’s children, Nikki’s grandkids, you know. So, she may tell Victoria that she can’t be around her as long as she is acting as sketchy as Victor. Now, I don’t think Nikki would cut Victoria out of her life, but she may tell her, “Go think about what you’re doing” because Nikki doesn’t approve. Not at all.

Lily May Expose Victor’s Lies on Y&R

I also bet Lily is going to blow up at Victor and Victoria over Cane’s arrest. And Lily might tell Victoria and Nikki exactly what Victor promised to fake the kidnapping, which is Chancellor. Why would Lily keep any of Victor’s secrets at this point? And he has been lying to the whole family this whole time.

Lily is absolutely terrified this week when Cane is hauled away in handcuffs and she can’t believe what’s happening. He promises Lily that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will bail him out and he will make it there to donate. But let’s be real, Victor destroyed Cane’s company first. So, Victor is not the victim here. He is the aggressor.

I also wonder if Victoria’s brothers, Nick and Adam, will be down with them using this fake evidence. Not that Victor will listen to them either. Now, I doubt her brothers would cut Victoria out of their lives or anything like that, but Nick has told Victoria before to stop acting like their father. Also, there’s Billy and Victoria’s kids, Johnny and Katie. They’re going to be shocked and horrified to hear that their dad is going to jail because their mom faked evidence. And why would Billy cover for her? Why would Billy not tell them that Victor and Victoria set him up?

Billy Ripped Away from Sally & Their Baby on Young and the Restless

Plus, Sally’s pregnant and she’s going to be disgusted that Victoria and Victor faked this evidence and are taking the father of her child away from her while she’s pregnant. Because again, the evidence is fake. It’s not like they have real evidence of wrongdoing. And that means that Christine is set to be publicly embarrassed when the truth comes out.

And she may lash back at Victor and Victoria. Phyllis already warned Christine last week and tells her again when she oversees her arrest, that this is all faked. She’s told by Phyllis, I’m sure Cane and Billy and their lawyers are going to say the same thing. And if Christine pushes forward with fake evidence, she could be kicked out as district attorney and even disbarred.

Victoria Could Face Arrest Herself on Y&R

So, I wonder in the end if Victoria might wind up losing her freedom and faces arrest herself because she’s the one who gave the fraudulent evidence to Christine knowing 100% it had been faked. And of course, Victor probably doesn’t care. He’s risking Victoria’s freedom.

He doesn’t care about anybody right now. So, I just wonder how far Victoria is going to let Victor’s vengeful fixation run her life and ruin her life. If Victoria keeps on like this, she could lose everybody important to her and in the end still may not have Victor’s approval. You know how he is.

Billy Eichner is revealing where he stands with Colton Underwood after saying the reality star could be the “first gay Bachelor” before he came out.

“I went on The Bachelor before we knew he was gay. As I joke, I said — because we knew he was a virgin — I said, ‘You might be the first gay Bachelor and we don’t even know it.’ And then when he came out a few years later, that went very viral,” Eichner, 47, recalled on the Monday, May 4, episode of Watch What Happens Live. “But I was just joking around.”

He continued, “I actually DMed him and I said, ‘Hey, I’m sorry I put you on the spot like that. I had no idea you were gay. If I thought you were, I wouldn’t have asked you about that on national television.’ He was super cool with it.”

Eichner shared that he and Underwood, 34, have “spoken a lot” since then, noting that the pair run into each other “once in a while.”

Related: Colton Underwood Slams ‘Hateful’ Remark About His Sexuality: ‘Be Kind Today’

Colton Underwood won’t stand for hateful comments about his sexuality. Underwood, 33, took to his Instagram Story to share and reply to a hate comment from a Traitors season 4 fan. “And I really wish Colton was straight again,” the user wrote via Threads. “We, the gays, don’t want him. BYE!” Underwood responded, “What a […]

“We see each other sometimes,” Eichner said. “He’s lovely and nice to see.”

Eichner was a guest host for a group date during Underwood’s season 23 of The Bachelor in 2019, where he joked about the lead being “the first gay Bachelor.” The comment resurfaced online when Underwood opened up about his sexuality in 2021.

Eichner, for his part, previously told Us Weekly that he did not see it coming.

“I don’t really know Colton well … [but] the day he came out, you know, I tweeted my support for him,” Eichner told Us in 2021, adding that his personal journey was “very different” than what Underwood experienced.

“I truly had no idea he was gay when I shot The Bachelor,” he continued. “I don’t really watch The Bachelor. … I never suspected he was gay, but you know, I’m happy for him. Everyone is on their own journey when it comes to coming out.”

Eichner shared that he’s rooting for Underwood as “he continues to evolve” into “a happy gay person.”

Underwood announced in February 2022 that he was engaged to Jordan C. Brown, with whom he tied the knot the following year. The couple welcomed their first baby, son Bishop, via surrogate in 2024.

“Our world is a million times better with you in it,” the pair captioned a joint Instagram post announcing Bishop’s birth.
