Dr. Robby holding up a hand in the ER

Editor’s note: The below recap contains spoilers for The Pitt Season 2 Episode 6.

A third of The Pitt Season 2 is already over. In that time, audiences have watched Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (Noah Wyle) struggle through his last shift before a three-month sabbatical. Not only does he have to tolerate his pushy replacement, Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi), but Dr. Frank Langdon (Patrick Ball) is back from rehab and looking to have a long-overdue conversation. Over the last four hours, Robby has managed to keep Langdon away from him, only for it to fall apart in Episode 5 as the ER is hit with an influx of patients from another hospital. As last week’s episode ends, lovable patient Louie Cloverfield (Ernest Harden Jr.) has just flatlined. Will he make it through the next hour, “12:00 P.M. – 1:00 PM”?

‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Episode 6 Begins With a Tragedy

Episode 6 begins with Robby doing chest compressions on Louie. An attempt is made to shock his heart back into rhythm, but it doesn’t work. Instead, Louie’s lungs start filling up with blood that spills out of his mouth during compressions. Meanwhile, Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa) continues training Emma Nolan (Laëtitia Hollard) when a phone call summons them to Louie’s room. Robby shakes his head at Dana because it’s not looking good. Louis is hemorrhaging from liver failure, and Robby tells Langdon there’s nothing else they can do. Time of death is called, and everyone is silent for a moment before going their separate ways. Nurse Perlah Alawi (Amielynn Abellera) looks particularly heartbroken.

In another bay, Victoria Javadi (Shabana Azeez) and others are talking to Jackson Davis (Zack Morris), who’s now able to speak. His sister, Jada (Erin Croom), wants to know what happened. Jackson mentions hearing someone in the college library not wanting him to pass the bar exam. Confused, his sister decides to call his law school friends to find out what happened. As we later find out, Jackson’s been dealing with hallucinations for months, long before he was tased, so he’s put on an involuntary psych hold. Meanwhile, nurse Princess Dela Cruz (Kristin Villanueva) visits the cancer patient, Roxie Hamler (Brittany Allen), who doesn’t have the strength to get off her bedpan. She talks about being married for 20 years and how difficult it is for her husband, Paul Hamler (Taylor Handley). Just then, Cassie McKay (Fiona Dourif) comes in to check on Roxie and give her something for her pain.

News of Louie’s death is starting to spread among the doctors and nurses, but there’s no time to mourn now. Dr. Al-Hashimi is talking to Dr. Mel King (Taylor Dearden) and Dr. Samira Mohan (Supriya Ganesh) about a patient when Robby pulls her aside to discuss discharging a patient to make way for more coming in. Dr. Dennis Whitaker (Gerran Howell) is crushed when he hears about Louie and goes running to his bedside, where Langdon is there and fills him in on what happened. They find a photo of Louie with a woman and child. If he had a family, he never mentioned it. There’s an emergency contact listed for him, and because Whitaker was Louie’s primary physician, Langdon offers to let him make the call, but Whitaker’s too heartbroken to do it. Sadly, when Langdon calls the number, the phone rings at Dana’s desk. The ER was his emergency contact.

Langdon Wants to Make Up With Robby in ‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Episode 6

Brandon Lee, a motorcycle acrobat, is wheeled in on a stretcher, but because he was wearing a helmet, he’s at least conscious. (Did you hear that, Dr. Robby?) Robby talks to him about his bike as the others work on him. The patient can move all his limbs, so what’s wrong? His knee is ripped apart, with the joint visible. As they’re leaving, Robby hears that Langdon’s patient with necrotizing fasciitis, Debbie Cohen (Mara Klein), is going to need an amputation above the knee.

Meanwhile, Whitaker pours his heart out to Dr. Trinity Santos (Isa Briones), who is so tired that she can barely stifle a yawn. Dana sends them to do something else while she and Emma clean Louie’s body. They talk about the possibility of his family existing. If he’s not claimed, his body will be cremated, with the remains stored alongside other unclaimed patients. Later, Robby asks Whitaker if he’s okay. Whitaker admits he had a relative who was an alcoholic, but at least Louie seemed happy. Robby’s here if he wants to talk, and walks off after they share a fist-bump.

Al-Hashimi and Mohan, along with Mel, check in on prison inmate Gus Varney (John Lee Ames). It’ll be a liquid diet for him for the next few weeks while his jaw heals, but they’re concerned that the levels of protein in his blood are too low. Meanwhile, in the break room, Langdon tells Dana that no one reached out to him when he was in rehab, but asks if the patient who punched her last season was arrested. He was, but Dana didn’t want to go through with pressing charges. Since Langdon is going through the 12 steps, he tries to apologize to Dana, but she tells him they’re good. He wants to talk to Robby, but today isn’t the best day for that.

Dr. Robby Is in Even More Danger Than ‘The Pitt’ Fans May Have Realized

Why can’t Robby take his own advice?

Al-Hashimi tells Robby that Gus needs to be admitted to one of the hospital’s rooms upstairs. He’s not sure what the hospital can do for him that can’t be done at the prison, but Al-Hashimi is concerned that he’s not eating enough. Robby doesn’t think they have the beds to spare, but says he’ll call the prison to see what food they’re serving. Still, Al-Hashimi says they can treat him better here. Robby puts his foot down on admitting Gus because they can’t take everyone. Meanwhile, Paul Hamler asks his wife, Roxie, if she’s ready to go home. She doesn’t look so sure, but he says he’ll be by her side the whole time. Roxie’s worried he needs a break, but he won’t hear it. She tells Paul to go ahead and get the house ready, and she’ll be right behind him in the transport ambulance. He reluctantly agrees, and she’s given a painkiller, but before she’s moved, Roxie insists on staying in the ER instead.

The ER’s Deaf patient, Harlow Graham (Jessica Flores), is finally seen by Princess, who can sign a little. She’s introduced to Santos and signs about having a bad headache. There might also be a stomachache, and she may have passed out, but Precious isn’t sure she’s interpreting the patient correctly. Frustrated, Santos walks away until an interpreter can come in, leaving Princess to apologize to Harlow. Robby and others get to work on treating Brandon’s open knee wound. Robby asks where Santos is and is disappointed to hear that she’s probably catching up on her charting — and he’s definitely not happy when she uses the AI app, which incorrectly reports that a patient had a history of appendectomies. Robby confronts Al-Hashimi about it, but Al-Hashimi blames Santos for not proofreading her charts first.

Dana and Emma get Louie’s body ready in a separate room in case anyone comes in to see him. When Emma asks Dana why she keeps coming back to the ER, she has no answer. The truth emerges moments later, when Dana checks on Gus, who’s about to be discharged and taken back to prison, and learns they have some things in common. Suddenly, his pulse oxygen levels drop; now, he’ll need to stay. Dana looks relieved, and when Robby asks her what she did, she feigns ignorance. Episode 6 ends with a dozen doctors and nurses in the visiting room with Louie’s body while sharing stories about him. Langdon pulls out the photo Louis had in his belongings, and Robby reveals the truth: it was his wife, Rhonda. He didn’t want kids, yet Rhonda wore him down, but then, a week before the baby was due, Rhonda and their unborn child were killed in a car crash.

Clap Back? Tina Knowles Seemingly Reacts To Mathew Questioning Her Role In Destiny’s Child (VIDEO)

The Knowles family drama is heating up again, and social media is buzzing. A viral moment between Tina Knowles and her ex-husband Mathew Knowles had fans side-eyeing after he questioned Tina’s role in Destiny’s Child. But recently, the matriarch responded with a subtle but clear reminder of just how much she shaped the iconic girl group’s legendary style.

Tina Knowles Reminds Everyone Of Her Legendary Contributions

Tina Knowles isn’t letting anyone rewrite history. After Mathew Knowles seemingly questioned her role in shaping Destiny’s Child during a PIX11 interview—walking off after the anchor praised both of them for their “work” behind the iconic girl group—Tina subtly but firmly clapped back. On Thursday, Tina reposted a throwback documentary clip showcasing her early hustle, from shaping the girl group’s hairstyles to designing their costumes. The video also highlighted her creating original outfits when high-end fashion houses wouldn’t collaborate. Furthermore, this served as a clear reminder of her lasting impact on Destiny’s Child’s legacy.

Tina’s Classy Clap Back Has Fans Talking

Fans immediately flooded The Shade Room Instagram comments to weigh in. Some pointed out that Tina literally gave birth to Beyoncé, arguing that alone was enough contribution to Destiny’s Child, while others acknowledged that Mathew did handle much of the behind-the-scenes work. A few more chimed in, impressed by Tina’s subtle yet classy clap back, praising her for letting her legacy speak for itself.

One Instagram user @stefflondon said, “HELLO……SHE MADE “BEYONCE” JOB DONE!

This Instagram user @tanaye_h added, “THEE MS. TINA❤️❤️🖤🖤🤎🤎”

And, Instagram user @itsalwaysapleasure_ wrote, “😂😂😂😂😂😂😂… Matthew did all the behind the scenes work. STOP PLAYING WITH UNC🤦🏻‍♀️😒

While Instagram user @wendys_classy_home_design_ added, “And this is how you respond. The nerve of that man…

Lastly, Instagram user @2wnty20 said, “.. yall keep saying “she made Beyonce”… like he didnt also 😂😂😭😭”

“It Was Misrepresented”: Mathew Defends Previous Comments About Tina

As previously reported, Mathew Knowles addressed the viral PIX11 clip that had the internet buzzing, insisting he doesn’t “do interviews” — he has “conversations.” Mathew claimed his now-famous question, “What work did she put in?” was simply meant to clarify Tina’s contributions to Destiny’s Child, not diminish them.

He expressed bafflement at the backlash, saying, “You can’t even find a negative comment I’ve ever said about TinaPeople try to bait us all the time.” Mathew also defended his relationship with Tina Knowles, stressing that he always refers to her as his “former wife” out of respect, never as an ex, and hinted he’s “evaluating all legal remedies” over what he called a misrepresentation of his words.

Lady Gaga has had an exciting past few years. She recently performed at the Super Bowl for the third time, released a chart-topping, Grammy award-winning album, and she got engaged to her boyfriend, Michael Polansky, in April 2024. Since then, she’s spoken openly about the positive impact he’s had on her life, but recently she called into Bruno Mars‘ radio show and gave a somewhat of an update on their wedding timeline.

Mars is currently promoting his latest album, “The Romantic,” which he released in February 2026. To do so, he recently launched “Romantic Radio,” where he plays music and takes calls. One of the callers was none other than Gaga, who seemingly tried to disguise her voice before Mars immediately recognized it, calling his “Die With a Smile” collaborator “my dear friend Lady Gaga.”

She said during the call, “Hi Bruno, me and my fiancé have been traveling all year, but we’re getting married soon. We were hoping that maybe you could choose a special song for us.” He then suggested “Risk It All,” from his latest album.

Mars then said, “So, I want to dedicate this one to Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael. This is for you, too.”

The world now knows that Gaga became engaged to Polansky in April 2024 while they were on a camping trip. However, she kept the news private until July 2024, when, according to PEOPLE, she introduced him as her fiancé at the Paris Olympics.

An insider spoke to PEOPLE in September of that year about the details of their private engagement. They told the outlet, “The couple shared the happy news with family and close friends right away but wanted to keep the engagement private otherwise. Everyone’s excited about them getting married.”

The insider also noted that Gaga is “the happiest with Michael.”

Hollywood Admits It Views Geeks As Pay Pigs, And You’re Being Farmed

Hollywood Admits It Views Geeks As Pay Pigs, And You’re Being Farmed

By Joshua Tyler
| Updated

The Hollywood monopoly unveiled its first trailer for Lanterns, the upcoming HBO Max series about the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, and his apprentice, John Stewart. The trailer, which I’ll embed at the bottom of this article, looks mostly like a new season of True Detective, not like a superhero show. In addition to scenes of driving around in a car, there is a brief shot of the Green Lantern’s costume, which looks like a bunch of football pads sewn together, dyed pea green, and then run over a few times with that same car.

If you’re at all familiar with Green Lantern, as a superhero, then you know it’s sort of a sci-fi spacey property about a guy who can make anything he wants out of his green ring. It’s not a dusty comic about an old guy driving around back roads in a car.

Green Lantern’s suit in Lanterns
Green Lantern’s costume in the comics

But if you’re a fan of a major, geek-centric media property, then you’re probably used to disappointment. Hollywood seems to have made it their mission to destroy everything nerds once loved, from Star Wars to Marvel to Star Trek. Most have assumed it’s been happening due to incompetence, but the truth may be something far, far worse.

That truth is this: Hollywood views geeks as pay pigs, and they’re being farmed.

A pay pig is a slang term for a person who repeatedly gives money, gifts, or financial support to someone who views them with open contempt or indifference. The payer is seen not as a valued supporter but as a gullible source of easy income, tolerated only as long as the payments continue.

Damon Lindelof Reveals What He Really Thinks Of Green Lantern

Damon Lindelof, who is responsible for HBO’s Lanterns and many of the biggest geek properties that have been ruined and are currently being ruined, recently revealed in an interview that this is how he views the people who pay his bills. Here’s the clip from Lindelof, watch what happens when he gets too comfortable and the mask drops.

This is all part of the now-decades-long Hollywood trend of making content for itself rather than its viewers. You’re viewed as pay pigs, a captive audience forced to eat their slop.

That results in a Green Lantern show that won’t have anything green in it. It also won’t do any Green Lantern things. Instead, as explained by the trailer, the plot seems to revolve around a horrible old white man getting out of the way so a hot dude with the kind of skin color Damon Lindelof approves of can take over.

The old, white man who has to get out of the way in the Lanterns trailer.

What does this have to do with a superhero comic about an organization of intergalactic guardians? Nothing. All that space stuff costs money to make and effort to coordinate. They don’t have to go to all the trouble because you’re just a pay pig, and they’ll use the Green Lantern logo. Eat your slop.

Everything’s Terrible Because You Aren’t Respected

Hollywood’s lack of respect for its audience is why every show seems to be doing musical episodes or childish drama, because the people behind them are a bunch of theater kids who enjoy doing stage plays and don’t care about, and in some cases are actively repulsed by, what the audience wants. It’s why everything pushes a political agenda that has nothing to do with the show; it’s why everything looks cheap and lazy. Modern entertainment is made for the people making it, not for you.

It’s not incompetence. They see you as beneath them and believe they can take your money from you without putting in any effort. You’re a pay pig, and you’re being farmed. It’s a Ponzi scheme, and you’re the elderly grandma they’re ripping off.

Star Trek’s recent musical episode.

The worst thing about it is that they aren’t wrong in their approach. Modern society is now overrun with zombified slop eaters, who will watch anything that shows up on screen with the right logo in front of it. There’s no incentive for them to respect their audience. People have been so thoroughly screenwashed that manipulating them has become easy, and they don’t have to try anymore.

So why put in all that effort on something you don’t care about? Give the slop eaters their slop, collect your paycheck, and laugh at them on the way home. It’s easy to imagine that’s what Damon Lindelof does, and he’s not the only one.

1 Year After Ending, Taylor Sheridan’s Best ‘Yellowstone’ Spin-Off Dominates Streaming as Divisive Sequel Debuts

Published

A closeup shot of Banner Creighton (Jerome Flynn) glancing offscreen with concern in 1923.

Following the premiere of Marshals, the latest spin-off in Taylor Sheridan‘s Yellowstone universe, audiences seem to be sending clear signals about what they want. Marshals marks the franchise’s first entry to be released on the CBS network rather than the Paramount+ streaming platform, and the reason is clear. Unlike previous installments, which were told on perhaps the biggest scale attempted on the small screen, Marshals appears to be a procedural in the vein of old-school network TV. Immediately after the first episode’s premiere on March 1, audiences flocked to the two previous Yellowstone spin-offs, giving them a massive spike on the viewership charts.

Sheridan’s Yellowstone debuted in 2018 and quickly became one of the most popular shows in the country. However, clashes between Sheridan and his lead, Kevin Costner, led the show to an abrupt end after five seasons in 2022. By then, Sheridan was already working on his two mega-budget prequels, the first of which premiered in 2021. The show, 1883, told the story of how the Dutton family came to Montana from the perspective of John Dutton III’s grandmother. She was played by Isabel May, who returned to serve as the narrator in the franchise’s second spin-off, 1923. This show ran for two seasons and concluded only last year. It told an epic Godfather-inspired tale of a prodigal son’s return to defend his family against enemies. 1923 was headlined by Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, with Brandon Sklenar emerging as its breakout star.

Taylor Sheridan’s Magnum Opus Will Continue With ‘1944’

According to FlixPatrol, 1923 jumped by an incredible 15 spots on the domestic iTunes charts following Marshals‘ premiere. 1883 followed not too far behind. Both shows were written in their entirety by Sheridan, with 1923 holding a 94% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. The website’s consensus for the first season reads: “Distinguished by the ineffable star power of Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, 1923 is another solid if unrelentingly grim addition to Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe.” With Marshals having disappointed audiences and the upcoming The Madison reportedly no longer a part of the franchise, fans will now look forward to 1944 — the third prequel in the series.

You can watch every installment of the Yellowstone franchise on PVOD and Paramount+.Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

The Good Doctor series finale ended with a heartfelt farewell to its fans — and the team behind the ABC series are answering any remaining burning questions. After premiering in 2017, the medical drama series concluded its run during the Tuesday, May 21, episode. Viewers watched as Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) processed the return […]

Spara has not shared further details from the dog attack. She’s also a puppy parent herself, often posting snapshots of dog Sally via social media. (It’s not clear whether Sally is the canine that bit Spara in the face.)

“I make a cup of coffee and journal to empty my brain,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in 2022 of her daily morning routine. “[Then], I take Sally out for a long walk around the seawall in Vancouver while I talk to my momma.”

After her morning walks with Sally, Spara headed to the set of ABC’s The Good Doctor. She played Lea Dilallo from 2017 to 2024.

“Even though we’re filming emotionally draining scenes, I’m the happiest when we are all together,” Spara told Us.

The medical drama, which wrapped in 2024 after seven seasons, also starred Freddie Murphy, Antonia Brown, Fiona Gubelmann, Noah Galvin and Hill Harper.

Bold and the Beautiful TWIST: Sheila Crushed by Taylor’s Ultimate Friendship Betrayal!

Published

on

Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) - Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig)

Bold and the Beautiful has Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) convinced Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) is responsible for Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) being such a wonderful and passionate husband to her again. But when the truth comes out about Taylor and Deacon, I think Sheila’s reaction will stun everyone.

Everybody expects rage and danger but we may instead get devastation, sadness and tears instead. It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt and we’re going to talk about how Taylor’s cheating betrayal might hit Sheila harder than Deacon’s betrayal.

Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila’s Undying Gratitude for Taylor

So, this week, we had Sheila up at Taylor’s office with a box full of stomach-turning toe cookies to thank her for talking to Deacon. And then Sheila dropped an incredible amount of TMI as she thanks Taylor for telling Deacon to get back in her bed and be a real husband.

He absolutely rocked Sheila’s world, blew her mind and was more passionate than ever. She said it was like Deacon was making love to her for the first time and it’s all because of Taylor. And then Sheila insisted Taylor’s the reason her marriage to Deacon is so wonderful right now.

I mean technically, Taylor is 100% responsible for Deacon’s amazing bedroom performance that wowed Sheila. But it’s also skeevy that Taylor knew Deacon was thinking about her the whole time. Of course, Sheila doesn’t know that and begged Taylor to keep seeing Deacon.

Sheila Trusts Taylor Completely and Considers Her a Friend on Bold

And when Taylor tried to say that she couldn’t see Deacon anymore because he’d graduated therapy, Sheila wasn’t having it. It’s like she’s afraid that if Deacon stops seeing Taylor, then Sheila thinks the progress in their marriage will stop—which makes sense.

She also told Taylor she would like to think they’re friends and hopes they’ve gotten past all the horrible things Sheila has done in the past. She thinks Taylor is amazing, I mean, let’s be real, Sheila has Taylor up on a pedestal as much as Deacon does.

And when Sheila hugged Taylor and said it feels like they’re all in this marriage together, that was absolutely accurate although Sheila doesn’t yet know that is literally true. And then she talked about wanting to see her grandson and wanting to belong, writers doing overtime on her angst.

Bottom line is that Sheila really likes Taylor, cares about her and trusts her in every way. Sheila is genuinely thankful for Taylor. It seems Sheila really believes she’s changed and is a different person and it’s clear Brad Bell’s working hard to set up a pity party for Sheila.

Brad’s writing it so psycho Sheila, the woman who shot her own son Finn (Tanner Novlan) and his wife Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and left them for dead, is a victim. I mean if you didn’t know her history, you’d feel kind of bad for her.

Has Sheila Really Changed or Is the Old Villain Still Lurking on B&B?

But there are two sides to the Sheila thing—yes people can change, like I truly think Deacon did. But also, it’s hard to think that at her core, after decades of evil-doing that Sheila really has changed.

She still seems volatile, like a flip could switch at any moment and she’d be dark and dangerous again. Like when she told Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) she’d just kill him then was like ha, ha just kidding. I definitely think that’s a red flag that the old Sheila is still in there and maybe not too far beneath the surface.

I mean, to be fair, she did save Taylor from falling off the roof of the hospital a few years back, so maybe in Sheila’s mind that makes up for her shooting Taylor and her being presumed dead many years ago.

Maybe Sheila thinks that makes them even. But she also shot Taylor’s daughter Steffy. Then again, Sheila turned around and saved Steffy from being shot by Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). So, again, maybe in Sheila’s mind, that balances their books.

Taylor’s Betrayal Will Cut Deeper Than Deacon’s

So, right now, Brad Bell and his writers are putting Sheila in the position of the victim because what Deacon and Taylor are doing is wrong. There’s no denying that. So, what I’ve been thinking about is that I think Sheila’s actually going to be harder hit by Taylor’s betrayal than she is by Deacon’s.

You know, men put their pepperonis in other ovens when they shouldn’t. That’s always possible. But for Taylor to betray Sheila? That’s going to be a knife to the gut. She really thinks that Taylor is her trusted best friend.

I think Sheila’s going to be absolutely crushed, devastated, and in tears when the truth comes out. Now, this could wind up with her so hurt by Taylor that she goes stark raving mad. Sheila may snap and revert to her villainous ways. Or she could crumble into a whole pile of sadness.

In a recent interview, Kimberlin Brown said that when Sheila finds out, it’s going to be big. I can see her being mad at Deacon, definitely. But I think it’ll hit Sheila a different way with Taylor. I think it will be soul-crushing and at first, Sheila may just have a tear-filled breakdown.

Will Sheila Snap and Unleash Her Inner Villain Again?

But once she dries her tears, the pain of Taylor betraying her could push Sheila over the edge and unleash the villainess in her once again. But if she goes after Taylor, first, I think Deacon would protect the woman he loves—Taylor.

And I think if Sheila flips that switch back to psycho, it may be triggered more by Taylor than Deacon himself. I think Sheila will be absolutely heartbroken that Taylor could do something so awful to her.

I think Sheila would be more upset about being hurt by Taylor than by the possibility of losing Deacon. We’ll see what happens. But it’s going to be explosive when Taylor and Deacon’s love for each other is exposed.

We’re still waiting to see that Bold and the Beautiful spoiler about a couple making love for the first time happen. Because I feel pretty strongly that it’ll be Taylor and Deacon giving into their passion and getting intimate.

And from there, it’s a ticking time bomb until Sheila finds out, freaks out, and is stunned at the extent of betrayal from Deacon and Taylor, the woman she considers her closest friend. The fallout’s going to be epic and I’m definitely here for it.
