Young and Restless Next Week: Jack Fights for Life & Cane’s Ruthless Power Grab!

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) - Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)

Young and the Restless exciting new spoilers for next week have Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) being in critical condition after a brutal attack and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) making another big move as CEO of Chancellor.

There’s blood, there’s trouble, and major drama the week of July 6th. We have got the latest Y&R spoilers including action for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and many more.

Young and the Restless: Jack’s Brutal Attack and Rescue Mission

Now, let’s talk about the hot plots coming the second full week of Sweeps. So, let’s start with the Abbotts because there’s life and death drama for a couple of them at the end of this week and going into next week.

So, at the end of this week, Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have this whole big plan that they have cooked up and they are going to thwart Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and they’re going to save Diane from the evil doctor. So, Jack is at the mansion distracting Patty while Kyle goes over to Markham’s house after they lured the psycho shrink away. So, Kyle broke a window to get inside and he’s thrilled to see Diane, but they can’t go back the way he came because the way he came there were the crazy dogs.

And Kyle brought a bunch of beef for Markham’s psycho dogs, but he says they’ve likely finished it all by now. And with the doors all locked, there’s not a safe way out. And then Markham returns. So, Diane hides Kyle out of sight. And then Diane’s getting all flirty with Markham, asking him to pour wine, talking about their dinner she made them. Leaves him with some hors d’oeuvres. And Diane tells Markham that she’s got feelings for him, and he says he has feelings for her, too.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane’s Plan Works

So, after Diane walks out, Markham tries one of the hors d’oeuvres. Then he goes to kiss Diane. She tells him to sit down. Markham’s woozy and Diane tells the sicko shrink that she drugged him and she calls for Kyle. So, after Markham passes out, they search him and find his keys. Then Kyle and Diane take off.

Meanwhile, over at the Abbott mansion, Patty’s being creepy, trying to get Jack to do intimate activities with her. And it seems like he’s pretty confident that Kyle succeeded because Jack stops even playing Patty’s reindeer games. He’s fending her off as Patty’s talking crazy about them still being married. And she tells Jack that Diane needs to pay for cheating with him when Patty and Jack were married decades ago.

Then Patty gets more aggressive and blames Jack for her winding up in the psych hospital. And Patty says she ended up there because he cheated with Diane. She’s making threats, telling Jack to join her upstairs. Patty dropped her robe, appeared nude downstairs, and then went and crawled into bed upstairs waiting on him.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Patty Flips Out

So, Jack texts Kyle and then tells Patty that Kyle got Diane out, and they are on their way home. So, Jack’s feeling very cocky and he tells Patty that he tricked Markham, sending a text from her phone. Patty’s enraged and says Jack broke her heart again and now Diane’s got a death sentence because of him.

Patty isn’t buying it, though. She’s doubtful. So, she calls Markham to check it out and Diane answers his phone. So, Patty freaks out and then Jack tells her, “Get out of my house.” Jack’s talking to Diane and Kyle and says, “Patty’s gone and he’s going to burn everything in the house that she touched.”

But guess what? Patty’s not gone. She just went to get a knife. So, she gives Jack a kiss and then stabs him in the gut. And Patty says they will be together forever in the afterlife.

So, Kyle and Diane are racing home and Kyle wants to know if his mom is coming to the mansion or if she wants to go back to the Genoa City Athletic Club. And Diane says she loves Jack and is ready to come home.

Young and the Restless: Jack’s Medical Crisis and Nikki’s Recovery

But next week, it looks like Kyle and Diane walk into a nightmare bloodbath scene. Spoilers for the week of July 6th on Young and the Restless have Kyle and Diane coming home to the Abbott mansion and calling out for Jack, but they don’t hear him. They don’t see him.

So, Diane wonders if Jack left and went somewhere, but then they hear the sound of glass breaking. So, after Patty stabbed him, Jack is clearly bleeding out. Other spoilers say his life is on the line and Patty is nowhere near done with Diane.

But also, Jack’s sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is back. She returns next Friday for Jack’s medical crisis caused by Patty. So, I’m willing to bet that the Newmans don’t want to tell Nikki about Jack’s stabbing and his life hanging in the balance while she is still recovering.

But once Nikki finds out what Patty did, I think she will rage at Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) because he is the only reason that Patty’s back in town and that Jack might die. And of course, we know that he’s not going to die, but still, it’s the principle of the thing.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki’s Out of Surgery

And speaking of Nikki, we know she made it through surgery, okay. But we don’t know the fate of her eyesight. But Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) releases Nikki from the hospital next week and as expected, she is not going back to the Genoa City Athletic Club, at least not as far as she knows.

So, we predicted that Victor would bring her home and would set up the ranch to accommodate her new accessibility issues. And once she comes home, we’ll see. Nikki’s eyes are both still bandaged up. So, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are there to get Nikki settled in.

What I wonder is if Nikki thinks that Victoria and Nick are taking her back to her room at the Genoa City Athletic Club or if Nikki realizes that she’s at home, the home that Victor tossed her out of. So, also next week, it looks like her estranged husband is making decisions about her medical care, and Nikki may not like that at all.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott – Cane Ashby

Young and the Restless: Cane’s CEO Moves and Holden’s New Role

We’ve also got more action coming for Cane Ashby as CEO of Chancellor. And we know that he has already hired Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to head up R&D. And Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is certain that it’s not going to work out and she’ll have to fire Billy in the end.

But the week of July 6 on Young and the Restless, we’ve got Lily and Cane talking to Holden Novak. Despite Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) being a jerk about both Cane and Holden, we’re going to see Lily pressing forward with what she wants to do. So, Lily asks her new brother Holden what are his plans career-wise going forward. And he tells Lily he really has no idea.

If you remember, Devon already chastised Holden and told him not to think that Lily is some sort of meal ticket for him. I mean, it’s not like Holden is broke. His mom is a very successful doctor. But Cane tells Holden that he thinks he can remedy Holden not knowing what is next.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Holden Goes Back to Working for Cane?

Now, if you recall, Holden worked for Cane before. It was Holden that handled all of Cane’s real estate transactions in Genoa City, all the buyups that he was doing. Remember that was back when Cane was still doing his international business work. So, obviously Cane knows that he can trust Holden. And I’m sure that Lily wants to keep Holden close and set her brother up for success. I’m honestly enjoying the Lily and Holden, you know, just discovered that we’re siblings dynamic.

I’m also enjoying Cane and Lily’s rekindling romance that we’re getting right now. The only issue with any of this is whenever doom and gloom Devon shows up to be an angry jerk and throwing off everybody’s vibes. It should have been Devon under the chandelier on the Beyond the Gates crossover.

‘If He Wanted To, He Would’

Published

'If He Wanted To, He Would'

“If he wanted to, he would” has become one of the internet’s favorite relationship mantras, but who would’ve guessed an iconic landmark would be the latest to chime in with the same advice?

The Empire State Building in New York City is proving it’s not just a well-known backdrop for love stories, it’s got relationship advice to share, too. After two climbers, Angela Nikolau and Ivan Kuznetsov (also known as Ivan Beerkus), got engaged atop the landmark after a dangerous climb, the building’s social media team jumped into action with a viral-worthy message.

After news broke that two climbers were on the top of the Empire State Building flying a flag, people were tuned in to see what would happen next. But what happened next even took news reporters by surprise! When Ivan got down on one knee, the narrative of the shocking moment shifted from a dangerous stunt to a sweet marriage proposal.

The Empire State Building’s social media team decided to take this opportunity to continue to promote proposals at the NYC landmark, and use the shocking experience as a relationship lesson in the process.

“Ladies: If he wanted to, he would… Just maybe on our 86th Floor Observation Deck,” they wrote in a cheeky Instagram post. It didn’t take long for social media users to get in on the action in the comment section.

Las Vegas’ IG account replied, “The bar is now on the 86th floor.” Another account added, “keep your standards high and your proposals (86 floors) higher.” One other wrote, “This is the best New York City response!! NYC or NOWHERE.” Another IG user said, “THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.”

‘When The Power Of Love Beats The Love Of Power, The World Knows Peace’

Let’s start from the beginning of this wild proposal. Two climbers (this wasn’t their first rodeo) decided to scale the Empire State Building to go to the tippy top of it (with no safety gear) and fly a flag that reads, “When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace.” And while many may have thought that was their end goal, Ivan had another goal in mind.

About 30 minutes after they reached the top of the tower, they began to climb down the spire onto a platform where the proposal took place. A few moments after their big relationship moment, the two began to descend and were met by officers at the bottom and taken into custody.

They were both charged with felony burglary, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief, and also face misdemeanor charges of trespassing, criminal tampering, disorderly conduct, and possession of burglars tools, according to NBC New York.

The couple is known by many from the documentary “Skywalkers: A Love Story,” which shows them doing similar climbing stunts all over the world.

Angela Posted On IG During The Empire State Building Climb

Angela had her IG fans following along on the intense moments in NYC.

She shared, “@angela_nikolau and @beerkus are currently unavailable, and we knew this in advance – so this post was pre-scheduled and is now publishing automatically.” The carousel of photos shows the two at the top with their flag flying, views from the top and the city, and the two kissing while standing at the top.

Many people following along shared their thoughts in the comment section.

Wildly popular content creator Grandma Droniak shared, “Slay.” One person pointed out, “Imagine literally climbing the Empire State Building with an engagement ring secretly on you… like.” Another shared that Ivan now set the bar pretty high, saying, “No man can ever top that engagement, period!” One person asking, “Is that the bare minimum?”

It appears after a quick sweep of the comment section, no one is mad about it! There’s tons of praise, well wishes, and congratulatory messages, such as, “Talk about raising the standard,” “I hope this type of love find you all,” “Legends,” and “This is so iconic,” to name a few.

‘Skywalkers: A Love Story’ Was Released In 2024

The Netflix documentary about Ivan and Angela was released in late 2024. While Ivan shared the documentary’s info on his IG page in June of 2024, the Empire State Building stunt brought tons more attention to it with many of the comments being from the past few days.

One viewer shared, “Didn’t know you before the empire state just know great pr stunt! Omg looking forward to see your love story.” Another person wrote, “Birds of the same feather flock together… all the way to the Empire State Building. Talk about taking love to a new heights.” Another asked, “Who is here after watching viral proposal video?”

It appears that their Empire State Building climb is bringing tons of new people to their social media pages and that could translate into many watching the two-year-old documentary now that they know more about it.

Where Else Have They Climbed?

If you’re interested in seeing more of their daring climbs, both Angela and Ivan share photos and videos of their stunts on their Instagram pages. Note, if you have a fear of heights, their content may give you some anxiety. They don’t seem to have an ounce of fear in them!

One IG viewer said what many are probably thinking, “You are not normal,” and another added, “The way my anxiety just peaked watching this.”

One question remains — where do they have the wedding after a proposal like that?

Extremely R-Rated 80s Comedy Is A Masterclass In Tastelessness

Extremely R-Rated 80s Comedy Is A Masterclass In Tastelessness

By Robert Scucci
| Published

Have you gone bowling lately? It’s prohibitively expensive to get a few games in with the family on a Friday night, but we try to get out every couple of months for the love of the game, even if it ends up costing us nearly $200 after food and drinks. But money comes and goes, and you only get one life, so you should spend it with the people who matter. Bowling is great because everybody in my family sucks at it, which helps the kids realize that not everybody is instantly good at everything unless they put in the practice.

That is all to say that the money spent on a family bonding experience is worth it if there are valuable lessons to be taught. Not all bowling alley lessons are created equal, though, which brings us to 1988’s Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, a horror comedy that’s kind of based on “The Monkey’s Paw,” but mostly just an excuse for sex jokes and gratuitous, cartoonishly violent kills. I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing either, though the 37 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes would have you believe otherwise. Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama does not have a critical score.

It’s not that the movie is unwatchable or terrible. This is simply what you get with a $90,000 budget while trying to lean into shock value. This isn’t a family bowling trip, and there are no teachable moments in sight. I don’t know about you, but that’s exactly what I look for when I’m trying to escape the horrors of modern life with my entertainment choices.

It’s Exactly What It Sounds Like

Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama follows three socially awkward frat boys named Calvin (Andras Jones), Jimmie (Hal Havins), and Keith (John Stuart Wildman), who decide that the best way to spend their evening is spying on the neighboring Tri-Delta sorority house. There, Babs (Robin Rochelle), Rhonda (Kathi O’Brecht), and Frankie (Carla Baron) are “initiating” their two newest members, Taffy (Brinke Stevens) and Lisa (Michelle Bauer). The initiation involves the newcomers getting spanked with paddles and covered in whipped cream, something the three frat boys take great delight in witnessing through the living room window.

When it’s shower time, the boys sneak into the house, and in no time whatsoever they’re caught peeping. Dead to rights, they’re used by Babs, Rhonda, and Frankie for the next initiation, or humiliation, ritual. They’re tasked with taking Taffy and Lisa to the nearby bowling alley, located in a mall owned by Babs’ father, to steal a trophy. What they don’t know is that Babs and the rest of the girls plan to mess with them, and maybe even get some good video footage of the prank.

What nobody is prepared for in Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama is Uncle Impie (Dukey Flyswatter), who was trapped inside the trophy and is unleashed into the world when it’s dropped. Impie, as his name suggests, is supposed to be an imp, but he really looks more like a cross between a hairless gremlin and a rubber pit bull. Grateful for being freed, he grants everybody one wish, but like “The Monkey’s Paw,” which inspired this film and countless others before and since, every wish backfires.

For example, Keith wishes to hook up with Lisa, who becomes a complete nymphomaniac, to the point where Keith wants to tap out from exhaustion. If you’ve ever wondered what “too much of a good thing” looks like, you’ll find it here.

Matters continue to escalate as everybody starts dropping like flies in the most insane ways $90,000 can buy. Severed heads roll down bowling alley lanes, doors are electrified, people are killed with paddles, and so on. I’m not going into graphic detail because the kills and scares are genuinely fun, but let’s just say that lots of found weaponry is used, and it’s about as crude as you could imagine.

Zero Lessons Were Learned While Watching This Film

So what’s the lesson or takeaway after my viewing of Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama? There isn’t one. This is the kind of good, crude fun you watch after family bowling night, when your son drops a 10-pound ball on your foot, spills his soda on the overpriced chicken tenders, and you have to resist the urge to rattle off f-word after f-word in front of countless spectators. This is how you blow off steam after those teachable moments: by not having to experience any more teachable moments for the rest of the day so you’re ready to conquer tomorrow.

Is Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama a great film? It depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re partial to over-the-top horror comedies, you should give it a go. If you look down your nose at low-budget films that are intentionally campy and going for shock value, you’re going to have the absolute worst time watching it. If you occupy both territories, I can assure you this movie is not 37 percent bad, but your mileage may vary.

As of this writing, you can stream Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama for free on Tubi.

Stranger Things’ Biggest Icon Was Almost A Marvel Star

Stranger Things' Biggest Icon Was Almost A Marvel Star

By Chris Snellgrove
| Published

While she has tried to branch out with new franchises like Enola Holmes, it’s fair to say that Millie Bobby Brown’s entire career has been defined by Stranger Things. It’s tough to see her as anything other than that tiny girl with enough freaky psychic powers to take on monsters from another dimension. However, we came dangerously close to knowing this actor for something else entirely. As it turns out, we almost knew her as the star of the best X-Men movie!

Over the years, many fans have compared Brown’s Stranger Things character to Jean Grey, the X-Man who has both fantastic psychic abilities and a hidden dark side (the Dark Phoenix) with the power to destroy everything. In retrospect, it seems clear that the Duffers were inspired by old issues of Uncanny X-Men. However, it wasn’t Jean Grey that Brown nearly portrayed onscreen. Instead, it was another mutant who is near and dear to Wolverine’s heart: X-23!

The X-Man Who Never Was

millie bobby brown

This surprise info comes to us courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, who invited Millie Bobby Brown to participate in one of their “Lie vs. Lie” videos. In it, Brown shared a crazy audition story, and her Enola Holmes 3 costars had to guess whether she was telling the truth or not. What the Stranger Things star told them was, “I screentested with Hugh Jackman when I was like, 11 or 12.” She then gave them a little more to go on, saying the audition was for “the Wolverine movies.”

After she said this, co-star Louis Partridge engaged in some deduction worthy of Sherlock Holmes. She did the math and determined that Brown would have been the perfect age to play X-23 in 2017’s Logan. “It’s true,” Brown confirmed. “And it was for Logan. I just thought to throw you off with the Wolverine movies.” During the game, she also disclosed that the audition went poorly and how she felt afterwards. “Broken,” she said. “I felt like I probably didn’t get it, because I think there was someone else that was better.”

Lean, Mean, and Keen

That person was, of course, Dafne Keen, who played X-23 to perfection in Logan before reprising that role for Deadpool & Wolverine. With respect to Millie Bobby Brown, Keen did such an amazing job as this character that it’s really hard to imagine anyone else playing her. This is especially true because Logan was an emotional rollercoaster that revolved around X-23’s relationship with characters like Wolverine and Professor X. While the bad writing didn’t help, Brown was notoriously emotionless for much of Stranger Things’ final season, so it’s frankly understandable that she didn’t get the role.

While Brown sounded like she was devastated not to get that juicy role in Logan, her career quickly took a major upturn. One year before that seminal mutant movie premiered, she starred as the pivotal character Eleven in Stranger Things, a show that became a breakout hit. That series was originally designed as an anthology that would focus on new characters each season, but the Season 1 characters (chiefly Eleven) proved so popular that the series went on nearly a decade longer. As for Keen, outside of Marvel movies, her biggest role has been playing Jecki in The Acolyte, a controversial Star Wars show canceled after one season.

Now, headlining movies such as Enola Holmes 3 (currently streaming on Netflix), Millie Bobby Brown is hoping to stretch her acting chops and ensure that she isn’t completely defined by Stranger Things. With that in mind, we wouldn’t be surprised if Marvel gave her a call one day and offered her a role, possibly in the upcoming X-Men movie. Depending on whether they even bother recasting Wolverine, this might give her a chance to finally act alongside Hugh Jackman. Should that happen, we can only hope the screentest goes better this time!

Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Marshals’ Officially Unveils First Look at Season 2

Published

on

ninfaven1ifpricmgnkenovvut2.jpg

A new era for the Yellowstone universe arrived with the release of Marshals in March. Despite becoming the franchise’s most divisive entry yet, the pedigree helped turn it into one of the year’s biggest streaming and network TV hits. Marshals averaged an impressive 25.24 million viewers within 35 days of its premiere, making it the most-watched broadcast TV series of 2026. With numbers like that, a renewal was inevitable, and it wasn’t long before Paramount and CBS announced their decision to bring back Kayce Dutton for another round of crime-fighting. Production got underway almost immediately in Park City, Utah, and a newly released teaser now offers the first glimpse of what’s in store for the next chapter.

For the uninitiated, Marshals follows Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), the youngest member of the Dutton family, whose story appeared to reach a satisfying conclusion in the original series. The spin-off charts a new path for the former Navy SEAL as he leaves the Yellowstone Ranch behind and joins an elite team of U.S. Marshals dedicated to protecting the people of Montana. Kayce’s transition hasn’t been he’s already seen a major personal loss with the death of his wife, Monica (Kelsey Asbille), a creative decision that didn’t sit well with some fans. However, the tragedy gives Kayce’s personal journey fresh emotional stakes with a couple of potential love interests already being teased.

Marshals Season 1 wrapped up with several loose threads, and Season 2 looks set to waste no time picking up where things left off. The finale, in particular, left the fates of Belle (Arielle Kebbel) and Cal (Logan Marshall-Green) uncertain after the pair were ambushed by gunmen working for criminal mastermind Tom Wheeler (Chris Mulkey). Both actors have since been confirmed to return, guaranteeing they survived the attack. The new teaser, which you can watch here, hints at greater dangers ahead for Kayce. The opening sequence sees the ranger held at gunpoint as a heated exchange ensues over the infamous Dutton legacy, before he swiftly launches a counter-attack. Later, he’s seen in a horse-and-car chase that ends in disaster for the other party. Elsewhere, the trailer also features the return of a couple of other cast members, including Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham).

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.

You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

When Is ‘Marshals’ Season 2 Releasing?

The new Season 2 trailer arrives barely two months after the Season 1 finale, showing that production is moving quickly toward an early return. With Season 1 receiving a divisive response from fans, the pressure is now on the next chapter to win over a broader portion of the Yellowstone audience.

Paramount+ has not announced an official release date, but given the pace of production, new episodes can realistically arrive this fall. Additional cast members are also expected to join the series, with details likely to be revealed in the coming weeks. Alongside the previously confirmed returning cast, Ash Santos is expected back as Andrea, while Brecken Merrill will reprise his role as Kayce’s son, Tate Dutton. Ahead of the new chapter, Paramount recently announced a DVD release for Season 1, set to hit shelves this summer. Stay tuned for more updates.

How Taylor Swift Is Connecting With Travis Kelce’s Sister-in-Law Kylie

Published

on

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's Family Guide: NFL Stars Will Make History as First Brothers to Face Off in Super Bowl 62 and 87

Taylor Swift developed a friendship with Travis Kelce‘s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce.

Swift was first linked to Travis in September 2023 when she was spotted cheering him on at a Kansas City Chiefs game in a suite with his mother, Donna Kelce. While some fans were surprised to see Swift making such a quick connection with Travis’ family, the pop star later clarified in a December 2023 TIME interview that she and Travis were already “a couple” by the time she attended her first Chiefs game.

Throughout the NFL season, Swift was spotted with Donna and Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, multiple times, but Swifties were most eager to see her spending time with his brother, Jason Kelce, and Kylie. An opportunity arose when the Chiefs played Jason’s team, the Philadelphia Eagles, in November 2023, but Swift was unable to attend the game due to a rescheduled concert in South America.

The couple finally did cross paths with Swift two months later when they supported Travis and the Chiefs in a playoff game against the Buffalo Bills — and Jason made a memorable first impression by taking off his shirt in the suite and jumping out into the stands. Before she had to wrangle her husband back inside, Kylie was seen chatting with Swift.

Seeing Swift “seamlessly” fit in with his family “means everything” to Travis, a source exclusively told Us in January 2024. “It’s almost like she’s known his family forever, and he loves that about her,” the insider added.

Social Media ‘Likes’

Kylie has subtly shown her support for Swift more than once via social media, including double-tapping an Instagram photo of the singer and Miles Teller‘s wife, Keleigh Teller, at the Golden Globe Awards in January 2024. One month prior, Kylie dropped a “like” on a post from the Today show about Swift’s longtime rep, Tree Paine, calling out DeuxMoi for sharing unconfirmed reports about Swift and her ex Joe Alwyn.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed Swift make the same gesture in January 2024 when she “liked” a video on the “New Heights” Instagram feed that mentioned Kylie. One month later, Kylie returned the favor by liking an Instagram post about Swift announcing her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, at the 2024 Grammys.

After Jason and Kylie announced in November 2024 that they are expecting baby No. 4, Taylor also dropped a “like” on the post.

Chiefs Game Meetup

The highly anticipated crossover finally took place in January 2024 when Kylie and her husband joined Swift in a stadium suite for the Chiefs vs. Bills playoff game. Kylie was photographed chatting with the pop star before Jason’s shirtless shenanigans stole the spotlight.

“The moment we got into the suite, I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off and I’m jumping out of the suite.’ And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’ I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this,” Jason recalled on an episode of “New Heights” after his outrageous behavior went viral. “[Kylie] was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor.”

Travis reassured his brother that Swift “absolutely loved” spending time with them in the suite. Shortly after the game, Travis’ friend Aric Jones shared a pic of himself and Swift posing with Kylie while celebrating the Chiefs’ win.

Swift and Kylie were later spotted watching the Chiefs home game on December 14, 2025, where they were joined by Kylie and Jason’s daughters

A Couple of Cat Lovers

While some dedicated “New Heights” listeners thought Swift might make a surprise appearance on the December 2023 holiday episode — which featured “a revolving door” of special guests — they were instead gifted with an extended Kylie interview. (Donna and Ed also dropped by for the podcast episode.)

Jason Kelce‘s marriage to Kylie Kelce gave Travis Kelce “the best sister a guy could ask for.” Jason and Kylie tied the knot in 2018 and went on to welcome daughters Wyatt, Ellie, Bennett and Finn. The little ones are fond of their “Uncle Trav,” who gushed over his “beautiful” nieces during Kylie’s special episode […]

During her segment, Kylie revealed one big similarity between her and Swift. “Here’s the deal, I told Jason that I wanted to get a cat and he told me no,” she said at the time, teasing that Travis could help sway the vote due to his romance with Swift, a famous cat lover. “I feel like you might like cats now. I don’t want you to send a cat, I just want you to get on my team here.”

Kylie identified her eldest daughter, Wyatt, as a Swift fan in an adorable TikTok video in October 2023. “Just another swiftie tryna learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who knows,” Kylie teased in the caption, recording herself and Wyatt watching an Eagles game. (Wyatt’s excitement about her dad’s teammate A.J. Brown‘s pink cleats quickly went viral.)

Two months later, Kylie referenced Swift once again while showing how much Wyatt has grown. “If you’re gonna try to make a headline out of this, you better offer a suggestion of a better audio… because there isnt one,” she wrote in December 2023, including Swift’s song “Never Grow Up” in the background of her video.

If Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are indeed endgame, she’s seemingly already won over her in-laws. The Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end began dating during summer 2023. In October 2024, Kylie and Jason took daughters Wyatt and Elliotte to Swift’s Eras Tour show in Miami.

When the world tour came to an end, Kylie revealed her daughters own a copy of Taylor Swift: A Little Golden Book Biography. The best-selling book about the Grammy winner was featured in an Instagram video where Kylie was picking up toys and documenting her daily life at home.

Double Dates

When asked whether she and Jason have been on a double date with Travis and Swift, Kylie replied on a February 2025 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, “Technically, yes, I would say. It was at home.”

Kylie admitted that she’s unsure whether she ate the food that was prepared. “I don’t know that I really ate the meal,” Kylie shared. “This is going to sound terrible. I didn’t really eat the meal because I was eight weeks pregnant.” (Kylie revealed in November 2024 that she and Jason are expecting their fourth child.)

While recalling the beginning of her friendship with Swift, Kylie confirmed their first face-to-face meeting was at the Chiefs versus Bills game in January 2024. “People are deeply disturbed by this. There was, like, all this stuff leading up to it [the meeting] about, ‘Well, why haven’t they met, they’re avoiding each other.’ I’m not avoiding anyone,” Kylie said, adding that she’s open to meeting “anybody,” but especially “someone that Travis is dating.”

Host Alex Cooper asked Kylie how she found out that Travis was dating the pop star. “I’m assuming your family was, like, getting told this in some capacity?” Cooper questioned, to which Kylie responded, “We were not. … [Jason] and I found out together, but we knew before they hard launched with her going to a game.” (Swift first attended a Chiefs versus Chicago Bears game in September 2023.)

Mother’s Day Memories

After months of privacy, Swift and her boyfriend were spotted in Philadelphia in May 2025 while celebrating Mother’s Day. Photos surfaced via social media showing Swift at a table with Kylie during a sweet brunch outing. Jason later confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Swift met his and Kylie’s fourth daughter, Finn, who was born two months prior.

During an August 2025 episode of “Not Gonna Lie,” Kylie celebrated Swift’s appearance on “New Heights,” joking that she was happy Swift’s interview on the Kelce brothers’ podcast would finally “lose its long-tenured reign as top-watched episode.”

Kylie also weighed in on the hype surrounding Swift’s first-ever podcast interview, saying, “It is very entertaining to watch the internet break. It’s just crumbling apart. And I love it.”

While making her podcast debut, Swift remembered her first impressions of both Kylie and Jason when they met at the Chiefs vs. Bills game in 2024. “I didn’t know what you were told,” she said to Jason. “I did know that one of the first things I saw you say to Kylie [was], ‘I was just shotgunning beers with the Bills Mafia and I really want to go through one of the fire tables.’ … She goes, ‘OK. Can we not do that right now?’”

Swift joked, “Since then, I’ve heard her say that exact thing to your 4-year-old.”

In the Group Chat

When Travis appeared on Kylie’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast in February 2026, the duo answered questions from listeners, including one about whether there’s a group chat with their significant others.

“You can say ‘none of your damn business,’ ’cause I tell people that all the time on here,” Kylie told her brother-in-law as he hesitated to respond.

Travis laughed before confirming, “Of course there’s a group chat.”

In the same episode, Kylie praised how Travis and Swift have bonded with her and Jason’s daughters. “When you and Taylor are around … well, Bennie thinks her legs don’t work,” she joked. “And then the big girls are like, ‘You could throw us for seven hours straight.’”

Netflix’s 8-Part Hidden Gem Is the Smartest Sci-Fi Drama Since ‘Black Mirror’

Published

on

Esther (Agathe Bonitzer) in 'Osmosis.'

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say Netflix has been one of television’s most reliable sci-fi hubs over the last decade. Between sleeper hits like Sense8 and The OA and the more mainstream success of Altered Carbon and Black Mirror, the streamer has been churning out successful speculative futures and unethical technological procedures for years now. The latest trailer for the last season of Stranger Things only serves as a reminder of just how popular Netflix’s most high-profile sci-fi projects have become, but for all the shows that get their turn in the spotlight, there are just as many hidden gems tucked away in the platform’s vast library. These projects are more obscure but no less compelling, and one in particular combines thought-provoking world-building with sci-fi so intricate it’s sure to delight longtime fans of the genre.

Directed by French filmmaker Audrey Fouché, Osmosis is a 2019 sci-fi drama with eight episodes and a perfect critical score on Rotten Tomatoes. Praised for its relatable premise and self-aware storyline, the series failed to garner widespread popularity upon its release and has subsequently been all but discarded, one of the latest in a long line of sci-fi releases to be unceremoniously forgotten. While Fouché’s series falls short in the audience department, it is through no fault of its own. Filled with unethical experimentation and a future overflowing with unique technology, Osmosis essentially feels like an eight-hour Black Mirror episode, perfect for viewers obsessed with exploring the loose boundary between social progress and the pitfalls of human innovation.

What Is ‘Osmosis’ About?

The series revolves around the infamous Vanhove siblings, Paul (Hugo Becker) and Esther (Agathe Bonitzer), self-declared pioneers of neuroscience who have supposedly developed an app that can pair an individual with their actual soulmate. Promising to connect people more deeply than ever before through technology, this Osmosis is both a life-changing bond and the name of the siblings’ business, which is sent into a tailspin when its investors pull out at the last minute. Spiraling to find a new source of funding and maintain public interest in their product, the series’ plot spans the month before the unprecedented app’s hurried launch, during which time Osmosis must first carry out a beta test of its services on a group of young people desperate for a new source of love.

You carry a weight most people would crumble under — the knowledge of what you’re capable of, and the burden of what you might have to become.

  • You see further ahead than others and you plan accordingly, even when the vision frightens you.
  • You are driven by loyalty to your people and a sense of destiny you didn’t ask for but can’t escape.
  • Paul Atreides is not simply a hero — he is someone who understands the cost of power and chooses to bear it anyway.
  • That gravity, that willingness to carry what others won’t, is exactly you.

USS Enterprise · Star Trek

Captain Kirk

You lead with instinct, warmth, and an absolute refusal to accept a no-win scenario — because you’ve always believed there’s a third option nobody else has thought of yet.

  • You take the mission seriously without ever taking yourself too seriously.
  • Your crew would follow you anywhere, not because you demand it, but because you’ve earned it.
  • Kirk’s genius isn’t tactical — it’s human. He reads people, bends rules with purpose, and wills outcomes into existence through sheer conviction.
  • That combination of warmth, audacity, and relentless optimism is unmistakably yours.

The Rebellion · Star Wars

Princess Leia

You are the kind of person who holds the line when everyone else is losing faith — not because you’re fearless, but because giving up simply isn’t something you’re capable of.

  • You lead through conviction. Your voice carries because your belief is unshakeable.
  • You gave up everything ordinary the moment you chose the cause, and you’ve never looked back.
  • Leia is not a supporting character in her own story — she is the moral centre of the entire rebellion.
  • That same fierce, principled, unbreakable core is what defines you.

The Nostromo · Alien

Ellen Ripley
Advertisement

You are not reckless, not grandiose, and not particularly interested in being anyone’s hero — you just refuse to stop when it matters.

  • You see threats clearly, you document the truth even when no one listens, and when the time comes you handle it yourself.
  • Ripley’s heroism is earned, not performed. She doesn’t have a speech — she has a flamethrower and a plan.
  • You share her composure under the worst possible pressure, and her refusal to pretend the monster isn’t there.
  • When it counts, you don’t flinch. That’s everything.

The Wasteland · Mad Max

Max Rockatansky
Advertisement

You have been through fire that would break most people — and what came out the other side is something the world underestimates at its peril.

  • You don’t ask for help, don’t need validation, and don’t wait for anyone to tell you the rules no longer apply.
  • Your loyalty, when it finally arrives, is absolute — but it’s earned in silence and tested in action, not in words.
  • Max is not a nihilist. He is someone who lost everything and found, against his will, that he still has something worth protecting.
  • That bruised, stubborn, ultimately human core is exactly yours.

There are plenty of wrinkles in this plan, such as Esther caring less about Osmosis and more about its potential to save her and Paul’s comatose mother, but Osmosis balances a talented cast with enough startling revelations to keep the series moving at a thrilling pace. Targeted by the humanists, an activist group desperate to keep love organic, as well as Osmosis’ main competitor in the field of virtual love, Perfect Match, Fouché ultimately uses the debate over Osmosis’ existence to expand on the role of technology in her speculative future, drawing in viewers with a realistic portrait of a familiar society growing increasingly dependent on artificial connection. When Paul’s wife and Osmosis partner, Joséphine (Philypa Phoenix), suddenly disappears, however, Osmosis’ founder is ultimately forced to reckon with the true cost of his unconventional intimacy.

‘Osmosis’ Explores the Technological Limits of Human Love and Heartbreak

It is through relationships like Paul and Joséphine’s that Osmosis is at its best. Aside from the latter’s sudden disappearance and subsequent struggle to set boundaries with her husband, the experiences of Osmosis’ beta testers test the limits of what even the most complex artificial connections can accomplish. The series focuses on three of the 12 testers in particular. First, there is Niels Larson (Manoel Dupont), a 17-year-old sex addict desperate for the kind of personal connection that can convince him to change. Next is Lucas Apert (Stéphane Pitti), a man second-guessing his idyllic romance with his long-term boyfriend, and finally, Osmosis dedicates the most time to Ana Stern (Luna Silva), a beta tester with an ulterior agenda and a woman whose own insecurities have convinced her she will never find a person to accept her.

Although Osmosis’ implants quickly match each tester with a soulmate who makes them happy, cracks in the system don’t take long to emerge. Between Lucas being matched with a toxic ex who cheated on him multiple times and Niels rushing into his romance so fast that he unravels, Osmosis is full of unintended consequences for what superficially appears to be a noble update to the dating game. Fouché’s series remains fascinatingly broad in its messaging, however. With Esther illegally tampering with these three testers’ minds and the testers themselves placing more faith in an artificial intelligence than their own feelings, Osmosis functions as both a critique of unregulated technology and a warning to anyone who would sacrifice their emotional autonomy for an algorithm. Yet, at the same time, cases like Ana’s ultimately prove the technology can also grant hope to those who need it most, resulting in a nuanced investigation of the ecstatic highs and bitter lows of entering Osmosis.

The Technology of ‘Osmosis’ Is Tailor-Made for a Contemporary Sci-Fi Audience

The series’ exploration of synthetic dating makes Osmosis uniquely relatable and grounds what would otherwise be an incredibly dense, abstract series. With falsified memories and an artificial plane of existence created with each Osmosis bond, Fouché’s series had the potential to be endlessly confusing, but Osmosis‘ focus on personal relationships allows it to embody that unique brand of sci-fi that is as insightful as it is approachable. In the age of Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, and countless other popular dating apps, who wouldn’t want to swipe right on an easier method? Combined with Osmosis‘ focus on technological body modification and a runaway AI system, it’s no wonder the show’s best comparisons are series like Black Mirror, as this hidden gem thoughtfully interrogates the most pressing issues of our own time and rapidly accelerating society.

Netflix’s Masterpiece Sci-Fi Series Is Basically ’Black Mirror’s Game-Changing Twin

Find your soulmate with a brain implant… but perfect love comes at a price.

Osmosis also uses its sci-fi premise to comment on how advanced technology can change the very definition of love, and even hinder it in ways modern audiences can instantly recognize. Both Niels’ storyline and Osmosis‘ virtual sex clubs point to a commodification of instant gratification made possible by futuristic headsets, and the unique relationship between Esther and her artificial intelligence, Martin (Vincent Renaudet), further blurs the definition of true attraction. Osmosis doesn’t function as a simple warning about the damaging effects of unrestricted pleasure, but it still depicts the dangerous ways new devices can further enable humanity’s dark side. Even though Osmosis was unfortunately canceled after only one season, audiences can expect a series full of uniquely relatable depth and thoughtful commentary.

Buy This Sonic Electric Toothbrush Once, Upgrade Your Smile for Good

Us Weekly has affiliate partnerships. We receive compensation when you click on a link and make a purchase. Learn more!

If you still rely on a manual toothbrush, you are in the majority. A 2025 YouGov survey found that 64% of Americans brush with a manual, while only 31% have moved to powered models. For a daily ritual that shapes long-term oral health, that gap matters, and it is where the case for upgrading to a quality electric toothbrush begins.

Manual brushing leaves a lot to chance. It is less effective at removing plaque along the gumline and between teeth, where gum disease begins. Most people brush too aggressively, wearing down enamel and pushing gums into recession, with no built-in feedback to ease off. The American Dental Association recommends two minutes per session, and most of us fall short. Technique varies brush by brush, day by day.

A well-engineered sonic toothbrush takes the guesswork out of the routine. ARU is built around exactly that premise.

What Makes ARU One of the Best Electric Toothbrushes Worth Owning

ARU delivers a professional-grade clean without the gum irritation or enamel wear that comes from overzealous manual brushing. The design choices add up to a tool that does the work for you.

Sonic vibrations break up buildup in the very spots a manual brush tends to miss. A built-in 2-minute timer pulses every 30 seconds to signal a quadrant change, so you hit the ADA standard without thinking about it. Three modes and three intensities let you dial the power down for sensitive gums or up for a deeper clean. A full charge runs more than 45 days, and the wireless charging base keeps the countertop uncluttered.

These are small decisions, individually. Collectively, they’re the difference between a product that disappears into your morning and one you have to think about — which is what separates the best electric toothbrushes from the merchandise sitting next to them.

The Clinical Case Behind Aru’s Sonic Toothbrush

ARU performs measurably better than a manual brush, according to a 28-day clinical trial conducted by Ashtel Studios. The randomized, examiner-blind study split 62 participants between ARU and an ADA-accepted manual toothbrush, with both groups brushing twice daily for two minutes.

The trial reported 15x more plaque removed than a manual toothbrush over the study period, 9x more plaque removed in a single use, a 74% reduction in gum bleeding and a 46% improvement in overall gingival health. Plaque removal in hard-to-reach areas improved by 140%, and 93% of gums were classified as healthy after one month.

A separate independent study of 140 participants over 35 days found that 91% of users would recommend ARU.

What Comes in the Aru Toothbrush Starter Kit

The ARU Starter Kit is a complete setup, not a stripped-down starter that pushes you toward upsells. Inside the box, you get the sonic toothbrush handle, one brush head, the wireless charging base, a USB charging cable with wall adapter, a magnetic mirror mount, a travel case and a travel handle protector.

The magnetic mirror mount is the kind of detail that signals someone actually thought about how the product would live in a bathroom. The travel case and handle protector mean you don’t reassemble your routine when you leave home. There are no accessories sold separately, which is increasingly rare.

Why ARU’s Electric Toothbrush Heads Are Designed Differently

The replaceable electric toothbrush heads are where ARU separates itself from most powered brushes. Standard brush heads rely on a metal anchor that can corrode over time. ARU uses a metal-free core. The ultra-soft tapered bristles are 20 times slimmer than standard bristles, reaching between teeth and just below the gumline without abrading either. A hexagonal bristle pattern delivers more efficient coverage per stroke.

Like any toothbrush, the heads need to be replaced regularly. ARU recommends swapping yours every three months, the same cadence the ADA recommends for any toothbrush. Worn bristles lose shape and clean less effectively, and old heads accumulate bacteria. A refill subscription ships a new head every three months, takes 20% off each refill and adds a lifetime warranty on the handle.

You Can Try the ARU Sonic Toothbrush Risk-Free

If the clinical numbers feel abstract, ARU offers a direct way to evaluate the upgrade. The ARU 7-Day Challenge runs for a week, then asks you to switch back to your old brush for a single session on day 8. Most people feel the difference immediately, including smoother teeth, a cleaner gumline and the absence of gum soreness they had written off as normal.

There is little risk in trying it. ARU backs the brush with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the seven days do not win you over, you get a full refund.

For anyone who already buys the better knife, the better mattress and the better coffee setup, the math here is straightforward. Two minutes, twice a day, for a few decades is a long time to keep doing it with the wrong tool.

Cardi B Scores Five-Figure Victory Against Blogger Tasha K

Cardi B on the red carpet

Cardi B has secured another major courtroom win against internet commentator Tasha K, who failed to follow a previous legal agreement.

This update comes after the Internet personality posted prohibited commentary about the artist’s personal life and family members.

Meanwhile, Cardi B also found her name dragged into a legal battle between her partner, Stefon Diggs, and his former chef, who accused him of mistreating the rapper.

YouTuber Tasha K, also known as LaTasha Kebe, has agreed to pay $60,000 to Cardi B for breaking the terms of a previous courtroom arrangement. According to official legal papers submitted on Tuesday, the internet personality decided to settle the matter financially to prevent the high costs and unpredictability that would come with an extended courtroom battle.

This conflict stems from a multi-million-dollar defamation judgment that the music star originally won against the content creator back in 2022.

Following that initial verdict, the commentator entered a bankruptcy arrangement. This agreement allowed her to delay her debt payments, provided she didn’t make any negative remarks about the hip-hop star or her immediate household.

However, she broke this promise by publishing fresh commentary concerning the musician’s estranged partner, Offset, as well as football player Diggs, who is the father of the rapper’s youngest baby. According to Cardi B’s attorneys, Tasha K has also released multiple “egregious violations” of the agreement, per People Magazine.

Due to these prohibited posts, a judge initially ordered the video creator to pay over $110,000 to cover the musician’s mounting legal costs. Under this newly finalized compromise, that penalty will be reduced, as long as she makes the payments in good time.

Cardi B Demanded Detailed Financial Records From Tasha K

Before this latest penalty agreement was reached, the Grammy-winning music star aggressively pursued the online commentator’s personal financial documents to ensure compliance with their multi-million dollar judgment.

The Blast confirmed that legal representatives for the performer formally demanded that the internet personality hand over highly sensitive financial records.

The requested paperwork included detailed bank accounts, tax returns, and comprehensive statements showing all the revenue generated directly from her YouTube channel and various other media platforms.

This strict requirement came just two months after the two parties had initially resolved their major financial dispute.

Under that earlier settlement, the online creator had agreed to pay the rapper $1.2 million over a five-year period, alongside a firm pledge to stop publishing negative commentary about the musician online.

As Tasha K and Cardi B settled their issues in court, the rapper was also navigating a sensitive professional period, as she wrapped up her “Little Miss Drama” tour.

Traveling to crowded venues across a multitude of major cities, she took her heavily praised sophomore studio record on the road for a string of highly successful performances.

According to The Blast, the incredible public turnout translated into a massive financial triumph behind the scenes, with total revenues pushing well past $70 million.

Over 453,000 tickets were purchased across 35 completely sold-out performance dates. This rendered her the highest-grossing debut arena performer among all female rap artists in history.

While the recording artist was celebrating the massive financial success of her historic arena tour, her personal life faced intense scrutiny when shocking accusations surfaced regarding her relationship with Stefon Diggs.

The Blast reported that Mila Adams, a former employee of the professional football player, released a dramatic social media video directly addressing the musician. She claimed to have witnessed severe mistreatment directed at the rapper during her pregnancy and the subsequent birth of the couple’s son in late 2025.

She also alleged that she possessed text messages proving the sports star constantly belittled and spoke down to the performer. At the time, Cardi B and Diggs appeared to be successfully rebuilding their romance following a brief separation.

Just a few days after those dark allegations from the former chef threatened to disrupt their peace, the high-profile couple found themselves at the center of yet another public frenzy when a heated video surfaced online.

Cardi B and Diggs were captured by bystanders during an incredibly animated, ten-minute interaction outside a commercial building in Burtonsville, Maryland, per The Blast.

Even though the recording lacked clear audio, the hip-hop star was visibly distressed, gesturing wildly and shouting at the athlete.

The footage naturally sent shockwaves through social media, leading concerned fans to immediately assume that the pair had broken up. However, the musician quickly took to her personal account to dismiss the rumors, joking that she was simply hungry during the argument.

General Hospital: Ethan & Ava Launch Steamy Secret Affair Behind Sonny’s Back!

Published

on

General Hospital: Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean Parsons) - Ava Jerome (Maura West)

General Hospital delivers Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean Parsons) taking a bullet in his backside to save Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) life. And then he confessed his big secret that he’s not really Phoebe’s father. And something about all the blood loss made Ethan giddy because he was pretty flirty with her.

We’re going to talk about this sizzling chemistry between Ava and Ethan now that they saved each other’s lives. And I expect this will kickstart a romance and we could get a secret fling behind Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) back.

General Hospital: Ava and Ethan’s Chemistry After Sidwell

So, the first thing I want to say is I had to laugh out loud when Ethan took a bullet to his backside because in the General Hospital summer spoilers, it literally says, quote, “Ava saves Ethan’s butt.” And I thought the wording was kind of weird at the time, and now it’s just funny as heck because it was completely literal.

Obviously, we’ve noticed that vibe between Ava and Ethan ever since Nathan Dean first came back to the ABC soap and ran into her. But then again, Maura West could honestly have chemistry with a Chia Pet. That would be amazing. She’s incredible. And Ava and Ethan have had sparks flying even when he threatened her on Sonny’s behalf.

General Hospital: Things Intensify for Ava & Ethan

And things changed this week when he was assigned Ethan to watch Ava’s back while Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was on the loose. And when the bad guy showed up at the art gallery with a gun, Ethan took a bullet for Ava when she goaded Sidwell basically into shooting her. I loved her dialogue about his son Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) when Ava said that Marco would be ashamed of him and then the whole “burn in hell” quip. I mean, either way, Sidwell was planning to shoot Ava.

So, at least she got to say her piece and salt the wound a little bit. But then Ethan lunged and Ava was saved and they made it into the storage room and barricaded the door. And it wasn’t until then that she noticed that Sidwell had shot Ethan. I don’t remember Forrest Gump bleeding that much when he got shot in the backside. And he was even carrying Lieutenant Dan when it happened. So, maybe Ethan will also get to have all the ice cream that he wants to.

General Hospital: Ava in a Panic

And then we saw Ava freaking out because Ethan lost a whole lot of blood and he kept trying to get up and then kept falling right back down. And Ava was worried that he was going to die. She did everything she could to save Ethan. These two, I think, are comic gold with their witty banter. And even while he was bleeding out, he was being cute and flirting with Ava in a funny way. He called her beautiful. I have to say before this I was a bit on the fence about Ethan and Ava being a romantic pair of any sort, but after this I got to say I’m all in.

Now, if you’re curious about the age gap, Nathan Dean is 38 and Maura West is 54, but honestly that’s not Ava’s biggest age gap romance. I think that record was set with her and Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). But this doesn’t have that same predatory vibe or anything.

General Hospital: Ava Desperate to Save Ethan

So, Ava was ready to go out and demand that Sidwell call an ambulance for Ethan. But thankfully the cops showed up and Ava didn’t have to do that. And she even told Ethan that she would beg Sidwell to get him help. And we know that Ava is not one to beg. But Ethan grabbed Ava’s hand to stop her because he didn’t want Sidwell to kill her. And then it was all so cute and fizzy when Ethan asked Ava not to leave him. And of course, soap social media has been shipping Ethan and Ava hard for a while.

Thankfully, Sonny got the better of Sidwell, and the Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) actress had her real life husband hauled out in handcuffs. Sidwell left whistling. So, I tend to think he is not gone for good, just gone for now. And I’m okay with that.

So, Ava told Sonny that Ethan saved her life. And then Ava hopped in the ambulance to go to General Hospital to watch over Ethan. So right now it’s all adrenaline and they’re coming off this life and death action all because he saved Ava’s life. There’s some feelings there, but it could absolutely turn into something real, you know, once Ethan recuperates and even along the way while he’s recovering. And there’s even some spoilers about it.

General Hospital: Ethan and Ava’s Secret Romance

We should see Ava pacing up at General Hospital waiting for Ethan to come out of surgery and then sticking right to his side. Of course, I would expect that Sonny would not want his baby mama, Ava, getting involved with his henchman, Ethan. And now that Sidwell’s whistling his way off, Ava doesn’t need Ethan bodyguarding her anymore. And Sonny will no doubt expect Ethan to be at his side as he rebuilds his power base with Sidwell out of the way. I expect that Sonny is going to reclaim his piers and all of his power.

Let’s talk about the spoilers about Ethan and Ava. So, one spoiler says that a face from Ethan’s past interrupts his budding romance, and that is what sends him on the run. So, that budding romance has got to be with Ava since nobody else is even on Ethan’s radar. And the face from the past may be whoever Delilah (Lily Cardone) was running from.

General Hospital: Ava Tests Ethan

Another spoiler says, “Ava tests Ethan’s confession to see if it’s true.” And that’s the confession about him not being Phoebe’s dad. So, I wonder if the reference to testing it is literal as well. Maybe Ava takes a sample from him while he’s sleeping after recovery and then gets a sample from Rocco, steals the pacifier or something and tests them.

I don’t think Sonny would approve of Ethan, his right-hand man, getting romantically involved with Ava, or even just having a physical fling with her. Sonny still has really deep issues with Ava. We saw that in their recent confrontation about Sidwell when Sonny was grilling her at his office after having Ethan haul her over there. And I’m sure Sonny will think that Ava is bad for Ethan, which may be true. Plus, him getting involved with Ava could make Sonny not want to trust Ethan anymore.

So, I tend to think that we’ll see Ava and Ethan exploring things on the down low, secretly behind Sonny’s back. That’s what I suspect is coming. We may see the beginnings of real feelings between Ava and Ethan. And he might fight the feelings at first, and Ava may be the first to lean in for that kiss. But in the end, I think the chemistry between Ava and Ethan will be too much to resist.

General Hospital: Ava’s Romantic History

And we know she likes younger men because she has been with plenty of them over the years. As I mentioned before, there was Sonny’s son, Morgan, who’s the main reason Sonny hates Ava, because she played a role in Morgan’s death years ago. Then there was also Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). The doctor and ex priest hottie made Ava want to be a better woman before Griffin turned to her daughter. And more recently, Ava had a little fling with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) when Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was paying him to do that.

But it’s been a minute since Ava’s had a real romance. So, I can definitely see Ethan starting a secret affair with Ava and hiding it from Sonny. And of course, we know secrets always come out, especially in Port Charles. So, Sonny might find out that Ava and Ethan are doing the deed, but it sounds like before things get too far with Ava, we’re going to see Ethan up and leaving town.

Now, there’s no word on whether he’s going to come back. So, what do you guys think about Ava and Ethan heating up and having a little fling before he has to go? Are you here for it or do you not want to see them together?
