For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. You may think you need to save a fabulous outfit like this for July 4, but I say no — I think you can wear it year round!

In winter, I would wear it with navy tights (or, hey, these), I think — you could even add some cowboy boots (maybe these!) for extra oomph. In summer, I think the outfit as pictured looks great, but I’d add a patriotic manicure, patriotic jewelry, or a patriotic scarf.

Obviously, don’t pair the suit with boots in summer, because that would call your professional judgment into question.
