Bitcoin surged to $73K during the Iran crisis while gold hit $5K+, giving us the cleanest “digital gold” stress test yet. BTC sold off hard initially, then recovered faster than expected on institutional buying (ETF inflows flipped from -$204M outflows to +$507M inflows). This wasn’t a perfect safe-haven performance like gold’s straight-up move, but it showed Bitcoin is getting more crisis-resilient each cycle.
