2026 Cracker Barrel 400 odds, predictions, time: NASCAR at Nashville picks from proven model

Published

on

The Cup Series holds its second night race of the year with the 2026 Cracker Barrel 400 on Sunday. The green flag drops at 7 p.m. ET at Nashville Superspeedway for a race which has seen different winners in the five years of its existence. Team Penske and Hendrick have notched four of the five NASCAR Nashville victories, perhaps making their drivers ones to back with Cracker Barrel 400 2026 bets and NASCAR DFS strategy. Yet, it’s someone who has never prevailed at Nashville Superspeedway who tops the 2026 NASCAR Nashville odds board.

Denny Hamlin, who will start on the pole, is the +390 favorite, while Cup Series points leader, Tyler Reddick, follows at +700. A trio is next in line at +750, including defending race winner, Ryan Blaney, as well as Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell. Coming off a win last week, Daniel Suarez is a +5000 longshot to target with 2026 Cracker Barrel 400 picks and in Cracker Barrel 400 DFS pools. Before locking in any NASCAR Nashville predictions or NASCAR DFS lineups, you need to see the projected leaderboard from Mike McClure’s proven model.

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with more than $2 million in career winnings. He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every lap of NASCAR action 10,000 times. All told, the model has nailed a whopping 29 winners since 2021 and hit 11 winners in 2025. Anyone following his NASCAR betting picks at their favorite sportsbooks could have seen huge returns.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the NASCAR Cracker Barrel 400. He’s only sharing his best bets at SportsLine.

2026 NASCAR at Nashville predictions

For NASCAR at Nashville 2026, McClure is fading Reddick (+700), saying he barely cracks the top 10 despite being the second-favorite. Reddick’s winning ways haven’t kept pace since his blistering start as he’s winless over his last four starts, following triumphing in five of his first nine races. His career average finish of 15.6 at Nashville is topped by a dozen other drivers, and his team in 23XI Racing has just a single top 5 over its last nine Nashville starters. Additionally, Reddick’s raced this track three times on the Xfinity Series — including his last Xfinity start in 2024 — and he’s never placed better than 14th in any of those starts.

Another surprise: Chase Elliott (+1900) is projected to make a strong run towards the title. Elliott is one of the five drivers to win this race, which came in 2022, and he also has another top 5 at Nashville. The 2020 Cup Series champion is in contention again this year, sitting in fifth place, and outside of Reddick, Elliott is the only other person with multiple wins this year. Also, few drivers have experienced his success on intermediate and large oval tracks like what he’ll see on Sunday. Elliott’s 13.1 average finish on these circuits is third-best in the sport, including a Texas victory in early May. See which other drivers the model is backing at SportsLine.

Former NFL star Greg Hardy has faced his trials and tribulations in the cage as a fighter in mixed martial arts and he was on the receiving end of a knockout blow once again Saturday.

Hardy contended with Darko Stosic at Fight Nation Championship 31. It was supposed to be a heavyweight bout but Hardy reportedly missed weight by 25 pounds. He had a 52-pound weight advantage over Stosic, though it didn’t appear to matter as much.

Stosic started the third round with a brutal left hook that knocked Hardy backward. The former Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers defensive end didn’t see Stosic’s windmill punch and it sent him to the mat. Stosic delivered one giant hammer fist to Hardy’s jaw and the referee came in and stopped the bout.

It was Hardy’s fourth MMA loss in his last five bouts. Each of those losses came via technical knockout or knockout. He lost his last two fights in UFC in the first round – one on July 10, 2021, against Tai Tuivasa and the other to Serghei Spivac on March 5, 2022.

He appeared on the Peak Fighting 50 card in January and defeated Philip Latu via unanimous decision. However, he had no answers for Stosic.

Rajat Patidar fumes as third umpire denies RCB big wicket in IPL Final
Rajat Patidar fumes as third umpire denies RCB wicket (Agency Image)

Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar was left visibly frustrated after a controversial third-umpire decision handed Gujarat Titans batter Washington Sundar a crucial reprieve during the IPL 2026 final in Ahmedabad. The incident occurred after RCB had already made the ideal start with the ball. Having won the toss and chosen to field, the defending champions struck twice inside the powerplay to remove Gujarat’s star opening pair. Josh Hazlewood dismissed Shubman Gill for 10, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar accounted for Sai Sudharsan for 12, leaving GT under pressure early. With the Titans looking for a recovery, Jacob Duffy appeared to have provided RCB with another breakthrough. Bowling a short delivery on the leg stump, Duffy induced a mistimed pull shot from Washington Sundar, with the ball heading towards fine leg where Jordan Cox completed what initially looked like a clean catch. However, the celebration was cut short as the third umpire was called into action to examine whether the catch had been taken fairly.Multiple replays showed that Cox did not appear to have complete control of the ball throughout the catching process. The ball seemed to be trapped awkwardly between the ring fingers of both hands and, while he managed to hold on, there was uncertainty over whether it had brushed the ground as he attempted to complete the catch. After reviewing the footage, the third umpire ruled Washington not out, concluding that there was insufficient evidence to confirm a clean catch. The decision did not go down well with Patidar. The RCB skipper immediately approached the on-field umpire and appeared eager to understand the reasoning behind the verdict. Television cameras captured Patidar engaged in a lengthy discussion as he sought clarification over why the catch had not been upheld. From RCB’s perspective, the decision was particularly frustrating given how well they had started. Gujarat Titans have relied heavily on their top order throughout IPL 2026, with both Gill and Sudharsan scoring more than 700 runs during the season and playing a major role in the team’s run to the final. Their early dismissals had put RCB firmly in control before Sundar’s escape offered GT a potential route back into the contest.

Josh Hazlewood removes Shubman Gill for 10 after being smashed for first-ball 4 in RCB vs GT IPL 2026 final [Watch]

Published

on

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Josh Hazlewood dismissed Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Shubman Gill for 10 in the IPL 2026 final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, May 31. The dismissal came immediately after Gill welcomed the Australian pacer with a boundary on the first ball of his opening over, third of the first innings.

The speedster bowled a back-of-a-length ball outside off at 142 kmph, and Gill charged him down the track for a big shot but miscued it towards mid-on before RCB captain Rajat Patidar took a good running catch to hold onto the skier. Virat Kohli looked thrilled to bits with the early wicket.

Watch the video below:

Gill had also flopped with the bat against RCB in IPL 2026 Qualifier 1, perishing for just two runs. The Titans lost that game by 92 runs, which forced them to play Qualifier 2 against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and earn their place in the final. Having said that, Gill slammed 104 against RR and finished with 732 runs this season.

RCB remove GT openers early in IPL 2026 final

A clinical bowling display from Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar helped RCB remove in-form GT openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, respectively. Sudharsan perished for a run-a-ball 12 as wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma took a smart running catch.

At the time of writing, GT were 39/2 after five overs, with Jos Buttler and Nishant Sindhu at the crease.

The two finalists have locked horns three times this season, with RCB winning twice, including the first playoff game. They would now look to repeat their Qualifier 1 success in an attempt to lift back-to-back IPL trophies. The Rajat Patidar-led side beat the Punjab Kings (PBKS) to win their maiden trophy by breaking an 18-year-old title drought in 2025.

On the contrary, GT won their first-ever trophy in their inaugural 2022 season. They are heavily reliant on their top three, including Jos Buttler, but Rahul Tewatia has been impressive in the playoffs. They would be keen to post a competitive total and challenge the defending champions, RCB, to earn their second trophy in the T20 league.
