The 2026 Presidents Cup kicks off this week at Medinah Country Club in Chicago, where the U.S. team will aim to continue its dominance over the International side in the biennial team event. How to watch Presidents Cup
At the last playing of the Presidents Cup two years ago, the International team couldn’t take advantage of playing on home soil at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Canada. Instead, the U.S. team continued its winning ways in the event, adding a 10th-straight victory to push its overall record to 13-1-1.
While the U.S. won by a wide margin, 18.5-11.5, the competition was a dead heat after the first two days, with the Americans sweeping Thursday’s matches and the Internationals returning the favor on Friday to knot the score 5-5.
Now the competition moves back to the States, where historic Medinah C.C. awaits 12 top American players and 12 elite pros from anywhere outside of Europe and the U.S.

The International team, led by captain Geoff Ogilvy, will be hungry for a rare win, while U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker will try his best to avoid ending a 20-year winning streak.
The Presidents Cup will feature a series of four-ball and foursomes matches, each pitting two U.S. players against International players, over the first three days of the competition. On Sunday, all 24 players will face off in 12 singles matches to determine the final outcome.
And you can watch all four days of the event live on TV. NBC and Golf Channel will handle the Presidents Cup TV broadcasts, and streaming options will be available via Peacock.

The Madagascar national team will arrive in Uyo on Monday afternoon ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Friday.
The Barea, led by head coach Corentin Martins, are expected to arrive in Akwa Ibom State and begin their preparations for the important Group C encounter.
Nigeria will open their 2027 AFCON qualifying campaign against Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday.

Madagascar have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations only once, in 2019, when they made a remarkable run to the quarter-finals.
The Barea have failed to qualify for the last two editions of the tournament and will be looking to make a strong start to their latest qualifying campaign.
Martins, who was appointed Madagascar head coach in January 2025, has qualifying for the 2027 AFCON as one of his major targets.

The Super Easter Egg hunt takes you back to the Ashes of the Damned map. Start your progression by following the walkthrough. Find T.E.D.D.’s head and attach it to Ol’ Tessie, the truck. Drive this vehicle to Blackwater Lake to power up the generator. Next, find the twins’ ghost in various parts of Ashwood.

Head to the Ashwood Bridge and power up the generator before you drive out to Vandorn Farm on Ol’ Tessie. After finding all ghost twin locations and making them disappear by getting close to the apparitions, you will find the twins atop the farmhouse.

Unlock toybox
Now unlock the Necrofluid Wonder Weapon as you would in a regular playthrough in the Ashes of the Damned. Use a charged attack with the Wonder Weapon to shoot the smoke cloud near the windmill of the farmhouse, where you spotted the twins. To open the box, you must use the Dark Flare Field Upgrade and kill zombies.

Get Pink Crystals
Next, you must head to the monolith forest and find three pink crystal chunks on top of the giant blue rock structures. Use Monkey bombs to distract any zombies nearby while you look for the pink crystals. If you spot one, use the Necrofluid gauntlet to pull it down. With a Fumigator equipped, interact with the crystal, and it will trigger a burst of energy straight into the sky.

Obtain Blue Crystal
Next, a meteor will fall in the southeast direction from Monolith Forest. Interact with it and wait one round to acquire a smaller blue crystal from this crashed rock. Take this crystal and place it inside the toybox unlocked in Vandorn Farm. The box will close and then open to reveal the Ol’ Tessie toy inside. Now wait for an exfil round to save your progress and exit.
Astra Malorum
For the Astra Malorum map, proceed as per the regular playthrough and unlock the Pack-a-Punch as well as the LGM-1 Wonder Weapon. Now head out of the Luminarium to find a box shown below, floating in space. Use any explosive bullet or throwable to make it change position.

Unlock toybox
Head to the spawn area and locate the box once again to hit it with another explosive and change its position once more. It will then move behind Ol’ Tessie in the starting area. Throw a Kazimir grenade right below the box, and it will bring the crate down.

Now get the DG-2 Turret Barrel for Ol’ Tessie by throwing an explosive at the closest floating rock near Abyssal Rim, and then jump off the left side of the rock fragment that floated close to you.

Discharge toybox
Next, you must kill O.S.C.A.R. by weakening his health bar to almost one HP and then shooting him with the DG-2. This will release a wave of electricity that discharges the electrocution of the box and opens it up. Now you must hit some grandfather clocks all around the map to slow down time.

Note that in the Machina Astralis room, there are two clocks. If you were able to hit all clocks within a certain time, you will hear a clock ticking in the background and a slightly faded visual indicating time has slowed down.

Light up lanterns
Now go to the observatory and use the telescope to spot a UFO and target it using the crosshair. Now follow the usual playthrough to get to Mars, put the brain inside the machine atop the stairs, and call in the bird from the far side of the map. Next, activate the four pillars, but do not spawn the final boss.

Bring UFO to Mars
Back in the spawn room, you must find lanterns on walls across a few different points of interest until you come across one that has a whitish glow. ADS while aiming towards that lantern, and it will transfer to an energy orbit revolving around you. Now ADS at unlit lanterns and melee to transfer the energy to them and light them up.

Equip shock charges and head back to Mars. Move to the southeast corner of the courtyard to find two glowing discs. Throw the shock charges directly, aiming at the center of both discs. This should spawn a UFO at the northwest edge of the map. Go back to the Astra Malorum map and grab 4 or 5 energy balls from the lanterns you lit up in the last step and bring them to Mars.

Unlock Alien toy
Towards the northeast corner, you will find four floating mechanisms with four items inside them. Melee them to see which one falls out of the mechanism. If an item does, the UFO will come and pick it up using its tractor beam. Continue this process until a green alien toy spawns. Bring this back to the spawn crash site near Ol’ Tessie and put it inside the toybox.
The box then opens to reveal a Caltheris toy, which you must extract through an exfil round.

Paradox Junction
Load the Psych Grenade in your Tactical slot and start Paradox Junction. Follow the usual playthrough to unlock the Pack-a-Punch. Then head to the north edge of the map in Cul-de-Sac to find a garage with a red door and a chalk drawing on it. Interact with it, and the drawing of a toybox will appear. Go to the second floor of the yellow house and locate the chalk drawing of a question mark.

Unlock toybox
Use the Psych Grenade here to turn the drawing into a key. Bring it outside to interact with the toybox, and it will appear in front of you. With the box now open, travel to the destroyed Nuketown version of the map using time rifts and locate three toy parts. Here are some of the spawn locations of these toy parts:

Get toy parts
Once all toy parts are collected on top of the bus, interact with it to start a minigame where the glowing toy will appear in various parts of the map, and you must run through it before the timer runs out. Climb back on top of the bus after this minigame and reach an exfil round to extract another toy back to Her House in Rex Infernus.

It took four birdies in his final holes — plus a devastating 18th-hole collapse from his final challenger — but J.J. Spaun emerged the winner at Wentworth in his first-ever BMW PGA Championship.
And he sent a message in the process.
First, the good vibes: All week Spaun raved about the opportunity to play in England, at the DP World Tour’s flagship event, on a top-tier golf course in front of massive crowds. Spaun and his family frequent the U.K. on pre-Christmas vacations, he added, but outside of the Open Championship he hasn’t played much tournament golf here.
(Sidenote: Merely saying “vacations” undersells it. Here’s Spaun on how he and his wife nearly ended up with a cottage in the Cotswolds:

“After I lost The Players [in 2025], my wife, she wanted to make a bet with me. She goes, “If you win a tournament, like you’re playing great, you finished second at the Honda, third, just lost in a playoff, I think you’re going to win. If you win a tournament this year, you’ll buy me a cottage in the Cotswolds.”
“[I said] no. That’s not a big enough accomplishment to buy a cottage in England.”
“Okay. What about if you won a major?”
“Of course if I won a major, I’ll do whatever you want.”

“And fast forward [to winning the U.S. Open], she’s sending me listings on Zillow the following day. It’s hilarious. We’ve come to a compromise. We don’t own a cottage yet.”)
Then came this week.
“The stars kind of aligned this week for me to come out on top, and I’m just grateful to have the opportunity and play and play well and give myself a chance and came out with a W,” he said.
Those stars aligned for a bittersweet reason: Spaun came up on the disappointing end of a Presidents Cup decision from U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker, who left Spaun off the team after a lackluster finish to the season plus a WD with injury at the Tour Championship. Still, Spaun — who’d finished 10th on the points list and also played well at last fall’s Ryder Cup — admitted his omission came as a surprise. And when it came time to tee it up this week, he drew on that as fuel.

“We haven’t spoken,” Spaun said of Snedeker, asked if the win had sent some kind of message. “But yeah, I played with a huge chip on my shoulder. I definitely had something to prove this week. But everything happens for a reason. I’m so delighted to be here and just to even play this event.
“I’ve always wanted to play for the longest of time. The extra motivation, I think that is the willpower that you kind of have. And being left off the Presidents Cup team a couple weeks ago was very disappointing, and I wanted to prove that I deserve to be on that team. I took care of my business this week. So all the best to the team next week at Medinah, and I’ll be watching.”
That was in his immediate post-round interview. In his press conference he detailed his specific frustration with this exchange:
Q.How did you find out that you weren’t on the Presidents Cup team?

JJ SPAUN: Sneds called me Monday morning, and just landed to Phoenix. It was like a 45-second phone call. Just said I wasn’t on the team, and said I was the odd man out and I wished him luck and that was it.
Q.Sneds said that’s what —
JJ SPAUN: Yeah, he did. You can quote me on that.
Q.Did you think going into the process that you felt pretty good about being on the team?

JJ SPAUN: I’m not at liberty to say what was — what my impression was or whatever. But I thought I was pretty good. I thought I was pretty good.
Q.Had you had conversations during the year with Snedeker?
JJ SPAUN: Yeah. Good ones.

JJ SPAUN: It led me to believe that I would make the team, yeah.
Spaun represented the U.S. overseas instead; he became just the third American to win the BMW PGA after Arnold Palmer and Billy Horschel.
“You know, being left off was obviously for a reason,” Spaun said. “I don’t know what that reason was, but I’m here now and there was a reason why we’re here. My caddie kept telling me that, and it’s crazy how this has happened. You know, everything does happen for a reason. I’m just super happy.”
Interestingly enough this marks the third consecutive season that the BMW PGA has been won by a player who’d missed out on a spot with his respective team. In 2025 Alex Noren’s win was a reminder just how close he was to playing on the star-studded European Ryder Cup team. And in 2024 Billy Horschel won the week before the U.S. played the Presidents Cup in Montreal, where he hadn’t made the team.

It’s a heck of a consolation prize for Spaun.
“It means so much. You know, I’ve kind of blossomed into this player I never thought I could be,” he said.

It can be used to facilitate rapid weight loss and can also potentially mask the presence of other prohibited substances.Opatniputh, one of Thailand’s leading women’s badminton players, can challenge the provisional suspension. The project, known as SM10 Agro, is expected to cover 500 hectares and process up to 8,500 tonnes of mangoes annually into pulp, dried products and mango butter.

He shared a 132-run partnership with VK Vineeth for the third wicket to put India in control.Vineeth made 87 off 92 balls, hitting four fours and six sixes, while Aaryavir Sehwag scored 47 off 48 balls at the top of the order. Robert MacIntyre couldn’t have asked for a better three-hole finish at the DP World Tour’s big-money BMW PGA Championship on Sunday. Birdie. Birdie. Eagle. The four-under blitz at Wentworth moved MacIntyre to three under for his round and 13 under for the week, good for a share of 10th place. Still, after signing his card, the combustible Scotsman wasn’t exactly all sunshine and rainbows.
MacIntyre, who is ranked 19th in the world, was still stewing from what he described as a “ridiculous” ruling on the 11th, a par-4 on which his drive had found the left-center of the fairway. When MacIntyre arrived at his ball, he found it plugged — or at least semi-plugged — in another player’s pitch mark. The good news for MacIntyre was that a 2026 rule change seemingly meant that he’d be afforded relief for his submerged ball. The bad news: Model Local Rule F-2 includes an exception: If a referee determines that the pitch mark has been repaired in some way, the player will not receive relief.
The rule goes on, “A pitch mark has been repaired in some way when it has been pressed down or undergone any form of repair by anyone whether deliberate or incidental, and regardless of the quality or completeness of the repair. Examples of repaired in some way include when a pitch-mark has been pressed down with a club or foot, anyone has attempted to repair it with a tee or some other device, or when the pitch-mark is in an area over which a mower has passed or has been otherwise prepared by maintenance staff. A pitch-mark that has been repaired in some way can and will often result in a visible indentation from which there is no relief under this Local Rule.”

In MacIntyre’s case, an official assessed the lie and determined that the mark had been repaired. Ergo, no free relief. “It was in our opinion a partly-repaired pitchmark,” DP World Tour chief referee Mark Litton later toldThe Scotsman.
MacIntyre was out of luck but not short on exasperation.
“What is the point of changing the rules for a plugged ball when I have split the fairway on 11?” he told The Scotsman. “The ball has pitched in a pitch mark but, because the pitch mark has been deemed to have been stood on, cut or whatever it was, I didn’t get relief.
He added: “I even got a second opinion. But, because the sides of the pitch mark weren’t standing up and it looked as though someone had stood on it or a buggy had gone over it. I didn’t get relief.

“The rule is absolutely ridiculous. It is all down to a referee’s decision. It looked as though it was plugged and that pitch mark could have happened this morning.”
From his bad-luck lie 96 yards from the green, MacIntyre airmailed his approach into the rough, left his first chip attempt in the long grass and then needed two more shots to hole out for what was his second consecutive bogey on the inward nine. On the ensuing hole, the par-5 12th — a hole he’d eagled and birdied earlier in the week — MacIntyre made another bogey to drop to one over for his round.
Of his misfortune at 11, MacIntyre later said he “just lost the plot from there. Yeah, I know that my attitude really, really needs to improve, but I am absolutely fizzing with the ruling.”
The governing bodies are constantly seeking ways to streamline the rules and eliminate confusion, complication and gray areas. In the case of embedded balls, MacIntyre said there is still more policy work to be done.

“They need to simplify the rules,” he told The Scotsman. “If it is in a plug mark, it’s in a plug mark.”
