Manchester United vs Leeds highlights and reaction after Noussair Mazraoui scores winning penalty

Published

on

Senne Lammens: Quiet first half but made a sharp save with his feet from Harry Wilson after the break and safe hands with two shots from distance. 6

Diogo Dalot: Drifted into midfield positions during build-up play at times, but caught out defensively by an Okafor run and had to make a rash foul in the final act before being replaced. 6

Leny Yoro: Good ball over the top to find Dorgu’s run and looked comfortable in possession. Handled Calvert-Lewin well in the second half and led alongside Armer. 7

Ayden Heaven: Some crisp passing again and his left-foot angle clearly a bonus in this team. Better defensively than he had been on Saturday. 6

Harry Amass: Committed two early fouls and then another later in the first half. Calm enough on the ball but doesn’t quite look ready for this level. 6

Andrey Santos: Came short to get the ball off the defenders and could see promise of leadership with his communication. Looks a certain starter vs Hull. 6

The Bloodline forced major WWE faction to change their name

Published

on

A major WWE faction had to change its name due to The Bloodline. Roman Reigns has reformed The Bloodline on WWE RAW alongside The Usos and Jacob Fatu.

Speaking with Simon Miller on Under the Mat, Ridge Holland shared the original name for The Brawling Brutes faction. He noted that they were originally supposed to be called The Bloody Brutes, but that name got dropped as it was too similar to The Bloodline.

“I think originally it was supposed to be the Bloody Brutes, but we couldn’t be the Bloody Brutes because of the Bloodline,” said Holland. (H/T: WrestleTalk)

Ridge Holland exited the company last year after WWE informed him they would not be renewing his contract. The 38-year-old was out of action due to an injury when he learned his time at the company was coming to an end.

He returned to the ring last month at Maximum Pro Wrestling in England. Sheamus was the leader of The Brawling Brutes faction but is also set to become a free agent later this year. The Celtic Warrior reportedly declined a restructured contract offer from the promotion.

Ridge Holland criticizes WWE following his release

Wrestling veteran Ridge Holland criticized WWE following his departure from the company.

Speaking on the Wrestling Pedigree podcast, Holland went off on the promotion when asked about the company releasing talent. He suggested that they did not care about the people on the roster and that it was bad business.

“I think it’s bad business practice. I think it shows that you don’t care about your talent. It shows you don’t care about human beings. These people got hurt working for you… I just don’t think you can treat humans like that, especially when we’re putting our bodies on the line for you guys. I think that there needs to be better standards and practices when it comes to looking after talent,” Holland said.

Ridge Holland announces that his WWE contract will not be renewed when it expires on November 14th

Big E’s in-ring career came to an end during a match against Ridge Holland and Sheamus on the March 11, 2022, edition of SmackDown. Holland went for an overhead Suplex outside the ring, and Big E suffered a broken neck and was never able to return to the ring.
