Blue Jays’ Anthony Santander scratched from triple-A lineup for second straight day

Published

The Toronto Blue Jays slugger was a late scratch from triple-A Buffalo’s lineup on Wednesday after missing Tuesday’s game with lower-back discomfort.

Santander was supposed to bat second for the Bisons.

He has played two games with Buffalo as he attempts to return to the Blue Jays lineup after left shoulder surgery in February.

The 31-year-old has one hit in seven at-bats, a single on Friday, and has not played since. He had been scheduled for rehab games through the middle of this week, per Blue Jays manager John Schneider.

Santander, a prized free-agent signing in the 2024-25 off-season, has yet to play for the Blue Jays this season. He also missed most of last season with an injury to the same shoulder.

In his limited games last year, he slashed .175/.271/.294 with a .565 OPS and six homers.

Before becoming a Blue Jay, Santander developed into a dependable slugger over eight seasons with the Baltimore Orioles. He had his best season at the plate in 2024 when he won a Silver Slugger Award and hit a career-high 44 home runs.

GTA 6 physical album release, editions, price, full soundtrack, and more

Published

on

The GTA 6 physical album is officially real, and Rockstar isn’t treating it like a simple bonus tie-in either. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is set to arrive alongside the game on November 19, packed with 34 original tracks built to capture the energy of both Vice City and Leonida, pulled together from a genuinely genre-spanning lineup of artists.

For anyone who’s been following the string of cryptic artist teasers over the past few days, this is where all of that finally starts making sense.

Everything you need to know about GTA 6 physical album

‘Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album’ brings together 34 original tracks meant to reflect the atmosphere of the game’s world, spanning a genre-defying roster of artists rather than sticking to one particular sound.

It’s launching on the same day as the game itself, November 19, 2026, and pre-orders for both the vinyl and CD formats are currently open through the album’s dedicated website.

GTA 6 physical album Editions and pricing breakdown

The album comes in a handful of different physical formats, each priced differently depending on how deep fans want to go. The standard lineup includes:

  • Limited-Edition Vinyl – $124.98
  • Standard Vinyl – $49.98
  • CD – $19.98

On top of the standard offerings, a few retailers are getting their own exclusive vinyl variants, each featuring different artwork alongside a different price point:

  • HMV Exclusive Vinyl – £44.99
  • Best Buy Exclusive Vinyl – $49.98
  • Blood Records Exclusive Vinyl – $55.00

Splitting exclusive editions across storefronts like this is a pretty deliberate move, giving collectors a reason to hunt down specific retailer variants if a particular piece of artwork stands out more than the standard release.

GTA 6 physical album first six songs are already streaming

Rockstar isn’t making fans wait until November for a taste of the soundtrack either. Six songs from the album are already available to stream right now, giving an early look at just how varied this lineup actually is:

This lineup lines up directly with the wave of cryptic teaser images several of these same artists posted just days earlier, which means those cropped, stylized posts weren’t just random hype pieces. They were the first real breadcrumbs pointing toward this exact soundtrack reveal.

Where to stream and pre-save Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album

The full album will be available across all the major streaming platforms once it drops, including:

  • Spotify
  • Apple Music
  • YouTube Music
  • Deezer
  • Tidal
  • Amazon Music

Fans who don’t want to miss the release can already pre-save the album on any of those platforms right now, which will trigger a notification the moment the full soundtrack goes live.

GTA 6 physical album copies ship right after launch

For anyone going the physical route, pre-orders placed through Rockstar’s dedicated album website are set to ship out on November 20, 2026, just one day after the game itself launches.

That timing lines up neatly for fans wanting to jump straight from playing GTA 6 into flipping through the vinyl or popping in the CD shortly after.

Spotify joins the GTA 6 marketing push

The connection between this album and the earlier artist teasers goes even further than simply matching songs to cryptic posts. Spotify has put up those exact same pieces of artwork on billboards across New York and Los Angeles, openly promoting the game while confirming its own involvement in the album’s rollout.

It’s a clear sign that this soundtrack isn’t just a side project tacked onto the game, but a genuinely coordinated marketing effort stretching across social media, streaming platforms, and now physical billboard space in major cities.
