Come hang out to strengthen your grip!

We don’t need the crush grippers to develop a vice-like grip at home. (although the grippers are pretty cool).

Building up to hanging from a towel with one hand is a surprisingly difficult task!

We also build our forearms with grip exercises like this.

The muscles responsible for our grip are all in our palms and forearms. We don’t have muscles in our fingers (other than the tiny ones on our skin that hold up our hairs).

  9. Back in high school wrestling practice, we would hang from towels on the bar for our break, once you let go your break was over and you had to get back to whatever drill we were doing. It really helped our grip strength a lot.

  14. Im gonna have to train this because i can feel my pull ups coming to me through inverted row training but i cant support my own body weight yet. The second I engage my muscles to start the pull up, my hands give out. Gotta start with step 1 now that i have step 2 mastered

I’ve been training my grip and trynna toughen my hands on the monkey bars and I got like weak gamer hands so I’m getting calluses and my skins ripping off kinda often it doesn’t hurt but it bothers me a little I’m just trying to build hand strength so should I just ignore it and keep pushing and the skin will grow back stronger? Idrk how this works

  19. Amazing how he talk normally while hanging ….I dun think I can even open my mouth to talk normally when I do any of these hangs

  20. man one arm hang is so hard I can do max 20 seconds on my right
